St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store and Donation Center in other cities:
This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Cincinnati, its close to home and organized. They even have the clothes sized, which is a rarity in most thrift stores in Cincinnati. I am an avid thrift shopper and this is the place to go for good vintage and quality items! Plus the staff is always friendly and helpful. I always find something good at this location.
I love this location. I love love love it. It has some really really good finds in it, I can tell you that right away. I have gone there for all sorts of furniture, electronics, and appliance finds thinkable. They have some really good stuff for really cheap prices. As far as thrift shopping goes, this place and Valley Thrift Store are gold mines.
This place is a very nice place, staff is always going out of there way to help us customers. There very friendly , there one ladies that is rude but u always have them. Pricing is a big disappointment a lot of the stuff is too high you can just go buy it new but overall very nice clean friendly store
Overpriced they had a Kodak Brownie Eastman for $30 and I found the exact model on eBay for $10 with a $5 shipping and the store needs organized and cleaned. They had damaged furniture that was beyond repair and was also over priced. Ill stick to the reading road locations and the west side one because I have found way better deals at those. Im guessing they over charge because of the area 🤷
There are a plethora of reasons why a place like st. Vincent de Paul truly serves the community and plays a part in the betterment of humanity in todays modern world. One of my most favorite is that you never know what youll find and theres new stuff coming in every day and if you are really knowledgeable about Antiques and rare items this is a place you should check out on a daily basis. The staff are always friendly and the prices at st. Vincent de Paul are like..Kroger to Walgreens(goodwill, salvation army). There is literally something for everyone there and I am gotten some extremely good deals before I recommend anyone donating to this place because they dont overcharge like the others and while I understand we dont live in a world where people can give out things for free and sustain themselves financially butt I do believe that more places should operate with their business model I would give this place 10 Stars. There is this very friendly helpful and generous older lady who works there I cannot recall her name but if youre ever curious about a price go talk to her 9 times Outta 10 she gives you a good deal and if youre a guy like me who never really buys pants or close theres always someone there to help you I love this store
If I could give this place less than one star I would. I have never been treated so rudely as I have by one of the cashiers. And then watching how she talks to one of the workers there is just deplorable. It makes me not want to go back in to this location. Where are those christian values modelled?
They locked the doors at 820 although theyre supposed to be open until 830. When a customer walked out I walked in and the ladies working were clearly annoyed. All I needed was queen sized bed rails.. they had them I called ahead. The older, chunky cashier said OH JESUS CHRIST as soon as i walked in. The slimmer older lady that showed me where the bed rails was started to slam the other items near the bed rails.I felt like my busniess wasnt appreciated and disrespected. Had I not needed my bed rails so badly I would have walked out and not given them my business.I made it out of the store at 827. They still shouldnt have been closed.
I love to go to St. Vincent de Pauls they have a lot of good stuff there, I guess just depends on what you are looking for. I go there and look and if there is something to get then I buy it,prices are just a little higher now BUT people have got to understand today is today not yesterday. Things are cheaper there then other thrift stores.GThank You Loretta J Plymale
I found this place during a delivery. Probably the best SVDP in SW Ohio (they are usually horribly overpriced ones, like in Mason (US42) and Dayton (EP Moses - which is a travesty to even be called a store). I found some pretty nice items, clean, and friendly workers. Good sized, too.
I use to love to shop here but then i started to lose money here , i would buy something and get home and find out it was broken so i would try to return the item and say look its broken and they would say no returns , well i quit shopping here for a long time and by mistake i returned and i bought a broken item by mistake again , how many times must i learn to not shop here, i would like to add that i watched the old women who run the place take the best stuff home for them self and this is everything and anything they like and they are some rude old women as well, dont make the same mistake i did, i go to milford now o00000000000000000000e4nba

2022-04-03There was some things here, but it seemed like mostly clothes. I ended up getting some cheap poker chips for 3 dollars. It also seemed like the shoppers here were more friendly with each other as I overheard a lot of side conversations. There was only one check out person and the line did grow a bit, but it wasnt too bad as people typically only had a few items and this was a Saturday. I think they had a few carts but most used baskets.

2022-08-16I like shopping there but they really screwed me over today. Id seen them take returns for store credit for another customer, literally right next to me. That happened a little while ago, not today. So today I buy clothes that are labeled for my size (this store is terrible at keeping the right sizes together) and two of the pieces dont fit. Now, for context, I told the checkout lady that I had walked to the store because I didnt have a car, which is why I needed everything to be in bags, not boxes. So I walk all the way back in 80 degree weather to try to return these two pieces and I finally get there and that same woman who checked me out earlier who KNEW I didnt have a car and had to walk all the way there in the sun in 80 degree weather chuckles and says, We dont take refunds. Like thanks, I know you take refunds for some things and you could have tried for me but instead you laughed. I had a huge box of clothes I was gonna donate to St Vincent De Paul but since that checkout lady acted the way she did, I think Id rather donate this giant box of clothes to someone who will give them to those in need for free.

2021-05-28I could have spent not too much money and got all kinds of stuff there today except I did good and didnt buy anything for a change. If it were a flea market most of that stuff would cost at least three times as much and still be worth it. Best thrift store around

2022-02-12Went to drop off 2 older dressers, a headboard, 2 bags of clothes and some misc. household items. Was very rudely told were not taking that broke stuff mind you. We bought the dressers from them 2 months ago but ended up not needing them. The dressers function fine bur are older and obviously have flaws. When I stated we purchased them from there, I was told I was a liar and the rude fella just walked off making more rude comments. Will never donate or shop this store again and I dont recommend you do either.

2022-04-06This particular St. Vincent thrift store location I personally find to be my favorite spot for DVDs. Huge selection of hard to find DVDs! The staff are very friendly and enjoy making small talk. Other than that, this location has many knick knacks to browse through and a bunch of great books! Five stars everyday!

2022-03-24Dropped in to shop and enjoy the finds. All the pants were together by color not size. I need to look in EVERY color of pants and EVERY size to find my size. What a useless waste way to sort pants. Takes the fun out of going to the thrift store.

2022-04-30One of the best thrift stores in the city.. Lots of deals and an awesome variety! There is always a tag color half off, as well as a blue tag for $1.25. They also carry furniture at this location.
