Went to the Catholic Festival but a lot of food items were sold out. Had to stand in the line for 45 minutes of a carnival food vendor and not really worth it. .
One of the few parishes on the east side of Columbus to offer Sunday evening mass. The music is fantastic and the Church is simply beautiful. A great parish.
We were not allowed in to the church do to arriving a few minutes with my ninety-year-old mother and were told to stand in the lobby and wait until after the second reading not very welcoming at all
Very important day in our lives . Confirmation ceremony for our triplets was unforgetable. Thank you St Mathews .

2022-07-21Just a wonderful experience all the way around the sermon is very well Delivered for those that may not totally sometimes have a hard time understanding what the meaning of the sermon is about, The people are great friendly, They go above and beyond the healthy community.

2022-07-10Reverent Novus Ordo Mass on Sunday at 10:30. Deacon gave an excellent homily on patristic allegorical interpretation of the parable of the Good Samaritan. Incense, bells, female servers, extraordinary ministers, Lumen Christi missals in the pews. Music was performed up tempo but tastefully, with more classic hymnody than modern folk hymnody (e.g. Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones, Te Deum to Nettleton, Ubi Caritas, and only one hymn by Bernadette Farrell). A few chapel veils and no complaints from the priest about receiving Holy Communion on the tongue and kneeling. Would be even better if the Holy Sacrifice were offered ad orientem and at least parts of the ordinary could be sung in Latin (as the fathers of the Second Vatican Council intended). Only passing through but would come again.

2021-10-04Jesus always get 5 stars BUT i would give this church architecture 1 star. Why did they tear down the original church? Was there a fire? I swung by to show my son where i went to school and church when I lived here and it changed, a lot. Ill miss praying the stations of the cross winding around that circular church of old. God bless.

2022-02-01The school is terrible the teachers were so rude to my black son i moved schools awhile back, bad experience I thought a catholic school would of been better than this…

2019-12-14Unbelievable beautiful church and congregation. Of course you have to show up on time so you dont inconvenience everyone, some use their senior parents as an excuse for bad behavior and special attention.

2018-08-14The school has gone down hill the past couple of years. I did not feel like our Child was safe or in the best environment to succeed. I hope the diocese makes some changes to the leadership at st Mathews.
