Please stay here at your own risk!!! Friend car got smashed into along with 10 other cars as well!! Very upsetting that such an high end area cars are getting smashed. Now friend has to replace two windows and drive over 2hours with broken windows what shame! Security cop did try to identify the people who did this but was unsuccessful. Overall the hotel stay was nice . But will never return again!
I had my wedding block-booked here and the hotel was wonderful. My family had an amazing time! We used the spacious lobby to make flowers and the outdoor space to have a cookout the day after the wedding. We also used the pool table and the lobby area again to play games. We have a lot of family and they had nothing but good things to say. The hotel even dropped some champagne off to us on our wedding night as a surprise. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and accommodating. We would have family stay here again to visit us in a second!
Hello, I had a great time during my stay at the Marriot Hotel in SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton Area. Generally, everything from entertainment to fine dining is within a few miles of the hotel. Wal-mart is within walking distance, right across the parking lot. The only issue I experienced was the lighting in my hotel room. The lighting was very poor and at one point I had to use the light on my phone to see the numbers on the microwave. But overall, I enjoyed my stay and I would recommend this hotel. Mike
The room was bigger than expected. Very comfortable and full or extras. The hotel itself was beautiful and clean with excellent staff. It will always be worth it to stay at this hotel. Kids liked the pool and pool table. Choosing such a great location makes a great stay.
My Wife and I arranged a large wedding block at the SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton area. The front desk staff were very accommodating and helped us with all of our needs.Patty, the Director of Sales for the hotel is one of the most genuine professionals we have worked with. She took the time to show us the property, walk us through the process of booking, and even surprised us with a in room bridal suite for the day of the wedding. The physical hotel was wonderful. The rooms were clean and hallways and common areas were always kept clear of trash. We also felt that the rooms were quite large and offered a high class feel. All of the guests staying with our hotel block had nothing but positive feedback. If you are looking for a hotel block or just need a hotel for a vacation near Easton I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel. It was very clean and our room was well maintained. There were two queen beds in our room and the slept three of us comfortably. Breakfast was just ok but there is something for everyone. Our family doesnt care for powdered eggs and we were delighted to see hard boiled ones. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and we would come again.
Large group stayed here for a wedding. Most guests we from out of town. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was very nice with a good selection of items. I liked that they still offer coffee inside the rooms. Nice patio seating for us to all gather after the reception and they even kept the bar open for us a little later
We were pleased with our room, spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and two t.v.s were a bonus. The bathroom was laid out so that you didnt feel cramped. Our grandson loved the indoor pool. The location was perfect, just off the highway and close to Easton Center. Breakfast was also good. Each member of the staff we encountered was friendly and polite. Well stay again if we are in the area.
This is a very new hotel with great rooms. Our suite provided all of our needs for 5 people. It was extremely clean to the point that we felt like the first persons to ever stay in this room. Fresh towels were provided each day, if needed. The food at the breakfast bar provided a wide variety of fresh items to chose from. From 9-10 on the weekends is a very busy time for breakfast.
This was the first hotel stay my nieces had and they said it was so nice and beautiful that they begged me to move in! Haha All of the staff was wonderful, helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious and the kids said the eggs were “the best eggs ever!” We are already planning to make a tradition of taking a girls trip annually and they’ve already requested to stay at Springhill!! Thank you all so much for making such a wonderful impression!
I dont normally write reviews but this hotel was perfect and I want to be sure people feel confident if they chose this property. We were able to check in an hour early which really helped us and the room was fantastic. Big enough to be a suite, modern but inviting feel, and the bathroom was rectangle rather that a normal square. It was very cool the way that it was designed and different than most other hotels. We never heard any hallway noise and slept wonderfully. It is also close to everything that Easton has to offer. Stay here and enjoy!
Hotel looks great and has good reviews, but it’s a low budget build with the HVAC units by the windows (hidden by a bench). This unit is extremely loud and you can’t turn in completely off. It kept my family up all night and I never stopped hearing about if for the entirety of our trip. Also food is standard issue junk hotel food. For the same price we got a 4 star Hyatt during our stay Dallas and loved it.
We truly enjoyed our overnight at this hotel! We had plans in the area for our kids, and this was the perfect location. We were just a few minutes away from Easton, in about 10 minutes from the other stores they were going to. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the entire hotel along with our room. The beds were extremely comfortable. As a family of six, it is often difficult to find a single hotel room that will fit everybody for a decent price. The two queen room with trundle bed worked out perfectly for us. The bathroom was giant and everything was beautiful. This was our first overnight since Covid started, and as a mom, it was a relief to see that every single protocol was in place and being followed! Every staff member we encountered was extremely courteous and helpful. I had to go to the desk if you times for questions and never once felt like a bother to anyone. We will definitely stay here again in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to several friends. Also, I’m not sure what the scent is in the rooms, but it is amazing. Walking into the room each time made me feel like I was back on a cruise ship. We have done family trips, and the kids all thought it smelled just like a cruise ship state room! It was perfect!
The location is excellent!! Tons of shopping and restaurants within 3 minutes from the hotel. There was a problem with the air not operating properly in our room. We literally could not breath because the room temperature was almost 80 degrees with no air flowing through. I called the front desk and they promptly moved us to another room and the air was just fine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!
While the beds were agreeable and the two tvs (but only 1 remote) was nice, the opaque sliding door for the bathroom was not. First, privacy concerns of somebody (say a child) seeing what was going on inside the bathroom (because when you stepped out of the shower, you stepped right in front of the door) and then secondly, at night while people are sleeping and turn the bathroom light on so you can do your business, it blinds everybody trying to sleep because the light passes right through the window in the door. Theres no way to filter this.Maybe due to COVID concerns, but the hotel room did not receive any housekeeping touched like fresh towels or taking out the garbage. We had to do all of that.Breakfast left much to be desired of also. Maybe again due to COVID we had the same scrambled eggs and turkey sausage everyday. No pancakes, waffles, or other options as shown in the pictures.Overall the room was nice (minus the bathroom noted above). If some of this things would be addressed before our next stay (with a child in particular), Id consider staying here again but otherwise Id stay someplace else, personally.
I brought my 83 year old parents here to meet our other family members for the weekend. The desk staff were absolutely wonderful. She was so helpful, placing my parents in a room close to the elevator, so they didn’t have to walk far. Both employees were so helpful! The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was well organized and everything was individually wrapped and bagged for covid. There’s a very large room with tables and chairs that allowed for distance between guests.Overall rating “10”!!!
It took me several weeks to decide on a hotel for my first mini vacation after Covid. I was pleased with my choice and the quality and price. My major disappointment was they did not update their website as to what was not working or would not be available at the hotel. I had to travel 3 hours hours Only to find out the one major feature I was looking for was not going to be available. My recommendation is make a phone call before you go if you have any concerns or plan on using the facilities offered by the hotel. The room was beautiful peaceful and quiet.
I checked in via the app and set the time until 4:30. We arrived well after that. The room was not ready. We also had requested extra towels and such ahead of time via the app. We arrived in our room and none were there. We requested them again via the app and then got a call from the front desk thinking a kid was screwing around on the app. We told them, no we really would like those things. Then it became us arguing with them and finally settling for a few towels. I travel quite a bit for work and Ive never have not been given something as simple as a tiny extra bar of soap before (among other requests). Amazing. Then for breakfast I was eating yogurts with my family from the breakfast bar since no sandwiches were available and realized that both had expired a week ago. Im not even sure what is going on at this hotel. Im going back to Hyatt. The Marriott standard has certainly bottomed out.
I came here to visit a friend for her birthday and I honestly could’ve stayed and the hotel and enjoyed myself. It was clean, staff was great and friendly, and the beds were very comfortable. I was near everything we had planned. Sams, Walmart and target are all right by the hotel also.
We went to the hotel for a few days get away for my kids spring break. The hotel is super clean, looks brand new. Staff was really nice, we got into town early and we were able to check in before 3. The pool was nice and warm. Rooms were quiet. It is close to tons of shopping, restaurants and the express way. Only negative ( which isn’t the hotels fault) it was Spring Break which meant tons of kids. The pool area was full quite a bit ( only 25 people allowed at a time) so we had to keep checking to see when we could swim. I’d definitely stay again, just maybe not during Spring Break. We also didn’t eat the breakfast provided. Due to COVID its grab and go stuff and my kids didn’t care for any of that.
Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable. Everyone from the start (Andrea), housekeeping with the extra blankets/towels, the breakfast staff, and all of the uniformed hosts/housekeepers that were always smiling or greeted us throughout our stay.Oh and thanks again for allowing us to check out a little later so that we could freshen up after our morning excursion! You all rock!Oh and everything was so convenient around the hotel (restaurants, shopping, groceries).
My family and I chose this as our base for our 2 day visit to Hocking Hills State Park. We weren’t crazy about the one hour drive but loved the location of the hotel because so many restaurants and grocery stores were nearby including Costco and Sam’s Club. There was also a pretty neat outdoor mall that was anything but a strip plaza…it looked like a town of stores and the layout had some pretty cool scenes (lighting and fountain) for photos. The service by everyone more than made up for my decision to pick a hotel that was an hour away from our excursion. Everyone from the start (Andrea), housekeeping with the extra blankets/towels, the breakfast staff, and all of the uniformed hosts/housekeepers that were always smiling or greeted us throughout our stay. They also allowed us to check out a little later so that we could freshen up after our morning excursion! It made a huge difference for our drive back home.
I had to be in Columbus for a business meeting and it was my first time in the area. It was a fantastic trip, in all ways. Business was good, shopping and dining are awesome - of course with construction we got a bit lost occassionaly but what do you expect from out of towners. Cant wait to come back!
The hotel was very clean. Suites are spcious. Staff was very friendly. We utilized the pool and it was great. I feel like the hotel has done a great job following covid guidelines while still allowing some fun and enjoyment. Great location, close to everything. Parking was also great!
The staff was phenomenal for the most part. Bar and front desk were amazing. Had a lot of questions about the area and the bartender, Phallynn, was more than happy to answer them and give suggestions. Had a few issues with the room. It was clean, but given the world we live in at the moment, there were definitely a few things that made us feel it could have been cleaner. And we had problems getting the temperature to regulate and didnt sleep well the first night, and the temperature didnt change until about half way through our second day of our visit. So that was definitely a little frustrating, but didnt detract from the good things. And breakfast wasnt that great. Understandable that it wasnt fantastic given the pandemic, but the food was lacking and the hard boiled eggs and muffins they had were very dry and, for us, were rather inedible. Fruit was good, but you could tell it had been frozen or something cause of how cold it was. But again, didnt detract from the overall stay.
I liked the Springhill Suites. It is conveniently located to Easton and the highway. The staff is very friendly. Our suite was comfortable and clean. *note* They are not cleaning the rooms daily, I guess due to Covid. They did get the trash outside the door and clean towels were available. I didnt use the pool it was open. Its small. There us a bar in the lobby and a nice patio outside where you can visit with friends. The breakfast was refreshed often with enough offerings to meet mist people needs.
Nice staff, nice clean rooms, the pool was warm,, nice patio with a fire pit, tasteless breakfast same food selection on the menu throughout my stay, I never seen a large amount of water sitting in a banquet stand of eggs and many of the cleaning aid were not friendly, rather they speak English or not, its not hard to say hi, especially it I greeted them first. The front desk clerk told me over the phone no pets allow, so when I came in town I found a dog sitter a family member who is elderly so I still was required to travel to their home 3 times a day to go feed the dog and take him out to potty since they are elderly, my weekend stay was no vacation it was disappointing that I notice 3 dogs walking in onto my elevator and on the patio, I confronted the front desk again about it and was told only Town Suites next door allow pets, so I suggested that the front desk staffing needs to be familiar with the pet policy and inform the guest of their options, had I know this, then I could have paid the $150 pet fee and could of avoid wasting gas & my time traveling to a dog sitter.
Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and rooms were nice. Only minor issue- the pool due to covid restrictions had a capacity limit where you had to reserve a timeframe. This was not enforced as there were large groups in the pool at a time well over the 25 person capacity and with no parent monitoring their children. My children didn’t seem to mind the 20+ member party that was in the pool being very unruly. But with the guests not associated with this group coming into the pool and adults trying to join their children in the pool it was well over capacity.
Great location. Stayed here 2 years ago and returned this year. Had 2 rooms this time. Was a little disappointed to see dried blood on our sheets, bathroom door handle broke and shower would not go down. The energy saving air conditioning is the worse tho. :( the front check out person was very responsive to some of our issues and reduced our bill. We will still return in light of these issues.
Trip to Columbus to visit the Zoo. Room was clean and modern and spacious. Staff was friendly. The trundle bed was a great option to allow all 5 people in our party to stay in the same room. Mini frige and microwave, pool, outside lounge area, and breakfast...all great amenities. Would 100% stay here again and recommend.
I’ve stayed at this hotel three times, however this last time they place me on the first floor midways down from the pool. It was extremely loud. If you don’t have kids & you’re looking to relax do not let them put you on the first floor, it will ruin your relaxation. The pool area should be soundproof, no one should have to hear that kind of noise while in their room. Other than that it’s a really nice clean hotel, that’s close to everything & the price is very reasonable.
The only major problem I had with my stay involved the water being turned off. I was expecting an interruption in the hot water as notified by a note that was posted in the elevator and the door of my room. I made accommodations so this would not be a problem. However, when I returned to my room on Monday evening I was alerted that ALL of the water in the hotel was off and I was handed a single bottle of water to brush my teeth with before bed. My normal routine involves a shower before I go to bed at night, so not having running water caused a change in my routine and meant that I now needed to awaken even earlier to shower before I went to my business conference. I hardly slept as I tossed and turned wondering if there was going to be any water for a shower let alone flushable commodes. I did get out of bed around 2:30 am to discover the water was available but had to get back up a couple hours later to shower and prepare for the day. I do realize that most of this is somewhat unavoidable, routine maintenance and emergencies happen. I just thought you would like to know how much of an inconvenience this actually was and how it impacted my stay. Thank you for giving me a voice.
Our room was extremely clean, the remote was even sanitized and in a bag waiting for our check in. Id even say its likely the cleanest room we have stayed in since covid started. The king room was spacious with a large pull out/trundle couch, a large updated flat screen that had a wall mount allowing us to angle it at our bed or the couch, a very nice shower, and a comfortable bed. The microwave and mini fridge were updated, clean and operational ( a few places havent had them due to covid). There was plenty of parking and its very close to a lot of restaurants and things to do in the Easton Town Center area. Its only around a 10-25 minute walk to most, or a short drive (although traffic is terrible and parking can be very limited in Easton). There are a lot of food delivery options as well due to its location which is a huge plus especially with covid. They offer a grab and go breakfast but we didnt try it since we were busy. The pool was also open at reduced capacity, which is very nice since most hotels have not opened their pools since the start of covid.
Cleaning services were limited due to Covid (maybe understaffed)? Found soiled wash clothes in shower upon entry. Did not complain, but was instructed to leave dirty linens in the hallway outside of the door. There were piles in the hallway.Water pipeline issues with Hotel had scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the majority of our 3 night stay. Showers and toilets were unavailable for my family of 5. Preparations for various interviews were disrupted.. really should have moved to another hotel but that seemed too inconvenient.Hotel management offered nothing for the inconvenience until I finally complained on the last day.
Nice place well located near mall and other high end stores. This place could get a 5 star but there were a few things that they need to step there game up on. 1 definitely there room service they dont clean your room unless youve been there over 7 days. They need to invest in making it less noisy the kids are running in the hallways late at night. I dont wanna say dont have fun on vacation but at a certain time shut the shenanigans DOWN. Other than that the place is a wonderful place to come and visit and do some shopping.
We came for a shopping weekend. The hotel was very clean and had several covid policies visible and in place. Television and refrigerator not working in the room we were in so they moved us to another room with functioning appliances. Responsive to bedding request. Customer service was excellent.
Everything was great i loved the room and the fitness center as well as the staff up until the night before i left. I ordered food and was wondering what took it so long to come. I called the place they said we dropped that off hours ago. So i went to the front desk and asked because they told us to come to the desk to get food we ordered and i followed their directions and told the delivery driver to tell them its for my room number just incase i fell asleep and my girlfriend couldve picked it up. However i went to the desk and asked if they had seen it and the staff member told me it was here but i moved it and i came back and it was gone with no other explanation. No apology no nothing so i had to order and pay for more food.
What a cute little room, I loved the studio apartment feel. I loved the updated amenities and the layout of the room. Having a functional kitchen was wonderful and the bathroom was nice and spacious the full closet was also a huge plus as well. The couch was a pull out bed (did not use it) but tried it, it was hard, but idk how soft a fold up mattress could/should be? 😬 Anyways, the actual king size bed wasnt that comfy either. My husband and I wore up sore AF. Was it worth it? Yes! A night away from the kids at the expensive of our backs 🤣
My daughter and I wanted to stay right at Easton for convenience of shopping right outside the door. After reading many reviews for several places, Springhill Suites was our choice even though it was across the street and we had to use our car. It was worth it, because we felt like it was very clean and felt safe. We would definitely stay there again.
Well appointed and clean Furnishings The bed was large and comfortable The room is divided by a desk that has a soon one side of the room and on the other side is a king bed. The bath is very modern and has a room shower area and very clean. The room also has a large 55 Flat screen TV with the usual channels No room service or restaurant available. But the bar was open. Also a convenience outlet for beverages and snacks was located next to reception . Staff are friendly and helpful with directions Shopping is about a 10 -15 min walk at the Easton Shopping mall. You can find Macys Nordstrom and lots of other upmarket stores and restaurants. Overall a pleasant experience keeping in mind with the Covid-19
The hotel itself was a 5. The location. The rooms 5. But I checked in for 2 nights Friday and Saturday. Friday was smooth. But sat...🤦🏾♀️it was so many unsupervised kids running up and down the hallways. And Iunderstand its a pandemic. But vacuum and wipe the elevators off. They werent to clean.other than that. It was fantastic other than the rooms.. the hallways and floors were nasty.made me wonder how clean the room really was🤷🏽♀️
Infant has an accident on bed, asked for housekeeping to come swap linens and they said “we only service rooms every 7 days”…..unacceptable when your in the hospitality business! Also pool had wads of hair floating around in it and you could tell it wasn’t cleaned regularly!Would never stay there again!
This hotel is one of the few that allows it’s patrons day use. We were traveling at night to allow my grandson to sleep while we did the bulk of the driving to our destination. The room was very clean and had a small divider so someone could watch tv while the other slept.
This is a great location for all of our needs. We could stay here every single visit to Columbus. The shopping and food locations satisfies all our needs and wants. My only concern on each visit has been the noise in the hallway and room to room. We accept it because we know a variety of groups and people stay here, but weve often wanted to call the front desk about the noise, especially at night.
My family was visiting close friends that live in Columbus and we decided to stay at SpringHill Suites. The hotel and our room was very clean and we received good customer services from all the employees we encountered. The onsite bar and restaurant was closed due to COVID-19. The only downside is we stayed for four days, three nights and there was no housekeeping services at all. We had to call each day to get our trash emptied and new towels/washcloths. Hopefully hotels will eventually return to daily housekeeping services. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Ohio.
Hotel was very nice and modern. Check in was easy. Staff was VERY Friendly & helpful. Room was spacious. We were a little concerned when we arrived about noise due to the large number of teens staying at the hotel, but overall the room was very quiet. Breakfast was very good and had lots of choices. We enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future. Only negative was the digital key. Even after a stop at the front desk to have it activated, the digital key thru the app never worked during out stay.
We loved this hotel and will be back again! It was very convenient for a trip to Legoland. The hotel was very busy but check in was quick and efficient. The pool was way too crowded to enjoy and it took a while for the towels to be replenished. The bar and lobby area provided lots of entertainment. The room was perfect in every way and the beds were so comfy! Loved the full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower! The breakfast was really good, comparable to what Ive seen in most chains. Some items needed to be replenished but there was still plenty to choose from. The staff was helpful but not as friendly as I expected- not rude though! We already have our next stay booked this summer!
We had planned a birthday trip for our little girl as the only thing she wanted to do for her birthday was swim. When we arrived at the pool we found out that (through no fault of the hotel) the pool had to be closed. We had a teary eyed little girl and a very teary eyed mom. The gracious lady from the front desk whose name I sadly forgot to get allowed us to call around and find a close hotel with a pool and check out quickly to transfer pools. This saved the trip and I will not forget it! We loved your hotel and will be back!!
Loved our stay at SpringHill Suites in Columbus (Easton)! We took our two daughters, aged 4 and 6, to the American Girl Doll store and stayed overnight. We ended up spending a lot of time at Easton Center and it was super convenient that our hotel was very close, but not smack dab in the middle of the traffic of Easton Center. Could not have been more pleased with how spacious and clean our room was. Very modern design. The sitting area with a second TV was genius and allowed my husband and I to stay up a bit later than our girls who were asleep in one of the beds across the room. The walk in closet was a little overkill (it was bigger than my closet at home!), but we enjoyed it nonetheless. I so appreciated the layout of the room, with the microwave, fridge, and counter set out of the way (and view), the closet with PLENTY of space for multiple bags, and a bathroom with lots of nooks... there was nothing laying out and about (most people expect a certain level of clutter when traveling, and I hate it... this room made it so easy to tuck everything away neatly). Really just a perfect amount of space for our family. We were also very pleased with the complimentary continental breakfast... plenty of options, both hot and cold. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. If we are every back in Columbus, we will for sure be staying here.
Hotel is in close proximity of the American Girl Store, shopping and entertainment. We booked a suite and for the price it was an incredible value. The room was spacious and had room for 5. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed the opportunity to go swimming in the middle of winter. Complimentary buffet style breakfast was good and included. Overall our stay was excellent.
The room was very spacious. Slept our family of 5 comfortably (all teenagers and older). Nice location close to several restaurants, shopping and ODU. Only negative was the frosted bathroom door - let too much light into the room in general. Need to hang a blanket over the door to let others sleep in. Other than that - super hotel, nice staff, breakfast was on par.
I stayed with my daughter for a mommy/daughter weekend and booked the Ameriican Girl package. It was much cheaper then other hotels and located right across the street from the shopping center. The staff was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good too. The pool was warm and it was nice and quiet at night. I have nothing bad to say at all. It was a great value and my daughter and I loved our stay. We will definitely be back.
This was the first time I stayed at a Springhill Suites and I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel, room, amenities and price point. The hotel was very nice, room was large and had many amenities most are looking for in a hotel. I would strongly recommend your next stay is at Springhill Suites in Columbus, OH when in the area.
I am beyond happy with my stay at Springhill in Easton, in the Columbus, OH area. I travel for work and frequently pass through the area. It is now my go-to hotel, and I will ALWAYS go out of my way to make sure its part of my travel plans. The rooms are fun, clean, comfortable. The staff were so helpful and kind. I could tell that other guests were happy too, the effect of the staff and other peoples comfort was obvious. Im really impressed with this new design/style Marriott has developed. As someone who travels for work, i see a lot of hotels, and Im a fan now.
This place is fine. The location of the hotel is good -- lots to do in the Easton area. Rooms are standard -- it looks like a relatively new build and the room was clean and seemed well-maintained. FYI the staff does not appear to look at guest requests -- we always request a quiet room on a higher floor with extra towels. This was not acknowledged and we were given a first floor room near the pool and gym. The staff didnt smile much but the service was polite and reasonably quick. This is not the best Marriott in Columbus, but it is alright.
First stay at a SpringHill Suites. They set the bar really high. I was blown away by the artwork in the halls and in the room, plus the furniture was really nice. There were plenty of USB and electrical outlets for all of my personal electronics. I felt it was very high end for the money I was paying. The staff was friendly and seemed genuinely interested that I have a nice stay. Next I have to travel here for training I will definitely be returning to this gem of a hotel.
Property is spotless and up to date. The people at the front desk are incredibly friendly and helpful. The pillows were great. The shuttle service was perfect so our group did not need multiple cars.Lobby area perfect for meetings.Gym is a nice size with equipment that works.
The location is perfect. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is very clean with an up to date design. I loved the biscuits and gravy being part of the complimentary breakfast. The fire pit and outside sitting area is an amazing space to sit and relax and hang out.
New hotel, attached to the town place suites. Check in and entrance are the same. The rooms were comfy and clean. The pool was nice, small for the number of rooms and no hot tub. The work out space looked nice, more equipment than most hotels. The lobby is inviting with lots of seating, a bar, a pool table and the eating area.
The TVs are in a very odd location of you need to spend time in the room. One remote is provided and it controls both TVs. When laying in the second queen bed the person closest to the desk can’t see the whole tv from the bed. If you have an adult who is not tech savvy to set up the virtual remote on the phone or how to get it back up after their phone times out.... this is now ideal. I understand the reason behind it.... otherwise a comfortable stay. But the layout was not thought out.
Everything was amazing! Check in was easy and quick. The room was big and beautiful. And they even had a shuttle the ran all the way till 11pm. Very nice place. The only issue we had was the TV in the room was messed up, it kept muting every 5 min while we were watching Netflix.
The Spring hill Suites in Easton Towne Center was a very clean hotel. This property was very well kept and had amenities for every member of my family. Management staff was very attentive to our needs. This was a busy weekend for sporting events, reunions and the such. The hotel never missed a beat. Breakfast was a wide array of different foods. Everything tasted delicious. Hotel made special accommodations for my family so we could swim after they had to shut pool down.
Nice rooms, friendly staff but if you’re wanting a good nights sleep, look elsewhere as this hotel is very noisy at all hours of the night. It was obviously cheaply constructed because it sounds like herds of elephants running through the rooms and halls around you all night. Will definitely not stay here in the future.
We had several issues which began immediately upon arrival with room not being ready though we arrived at 6:15 pm and check in was at 3:30. Shower was broken and not properly fixed. Room had a horrible chemical odor. Sheets had yellow spotted stains. Will not be staying again as the issues just piled up and were clearly not being taken seriously and the “solutions” offered were absolutely not acceptable for the price of the room. So much so that we opted to leave the hotel and drive our two and three hour drives back home. Also tried to tell me that I may not be refunded for the stay even though we were only there for less than three hours, couldn’t shower and could not stand the smell of the room. I have never had so many issues with a hotel stay.
We have 5 in our family soon to be 6. We always have a problem firing into a hotel room. Getting two rooms is never an option. The room was large, had two queen size beds and we could still stretch out comfortably. If I could I would always pick this hotel and the same style room. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodated the extra pillows, blankets and bathroom amenities that we requested. Great place for larger families.
If you care about getting an upgrade as an Elite member, don’t bother staying here. If you don’t care about that that, it’s a great stay. Clean, great lobby, nice staff. The problem is the night I stayed, there were literally about 20 cars in the huge parking lot...the hotel was obviously very new and had next to no guests that night. It is a very large hotel as there are two different brands of hotel joined together to share the same building (Springhill & Townplace). I asked for my upgrade as an elite member, thinking of all my experiences this would be the easiest upgrade I have ever had since there were almost no guests staying there. I then got the company tag line “I’m sorry, we don’t have any rooms available for upgrade for you.” I place no fault on the young woman, she was just trained to deny upgrades. It was so over the top ridiculous that I actually was speechless and just walked to my room after receiving my key. Hotels under that kind of management are incredibly annoying to me. If I can’t get an upgrade in an empty hotel, what exactly is the benefit of being platinum elite? This hotel is a nice hotel, you will have a nice stay if you don’t care about this kind of thing. They just clearly don’t value elite members and look to quickly give them the benefits that the Marriott brand promises. Disappointed in that.
Loved, loved, loved this hotel! Very clean, comfortable and great decor! Very friendly staff! Shuttle van was provided to take us to local restaurants and shopping center. Breakfast was good with many options to choose from! Room rates were very reasonable. When staying in the Columbus Easton Area again I will be coming back to SpringHill Suites to stay!
Beautiful Hotel, AMAZING staff! We stayed just this past weekend for a Hockey Tournament and it was such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend to everyone. So close to the mall and everywhere we needed to go. Beautiful outdoor seating area, Bartenders were so pleasant and good. We would go back for a vacation with the family! Thank you so much for an amazing weekend and thank your entire staff for being professional and making us feel at home.
We recently stayed at the Springhill Suites Columbus Easton Area to attend my daughters graduation from the Ohio State Universitys Law school (May 9-11). We had a block of rooms that we utilized. From our initial contact and interactions with the sales staff, Melanie and Stacey, and eventually to checkout, front desk associates, like Shauni and all the others whose names I cant recall, we had a phenomenal experience. The staff was very professional, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms are an excellent size and allowed everyone to have their own space. This was a newer property and you can tell that all members of the staff, maintenance, housekeeping, shuttle drives, etc. take pride in the facility and the work that they do. Kudos to all who work at Springhill Suites Columbus Easton Area. Job well done!
The property is new and great location HOWEVER ther is zero privacy in the suite as the bathroom is in the CENTER of the room with a sliding (noisy) door with frosted glass that is top to bottom and less than private. The sliding door wakes anyone up in the night sleeping, the light from the bathroom makes the room glow at night. Such a strange design to have the bathroom just a foot or two from your bed for all to see and hear. Would not recommend for families. Whoever designed the floor plan didn’t think of the reality of the users. Disappointing because the location is great, hotel was clean. If you can’t rest or have privacy when in your hotel room, it makes for a crummy experience. :(
The property is really nice. Strict policy on the person whose name the reservation is under must be there or call with confirmation number. Not ideal space for family of 5. I wish there were more drawers, but walk in closet is nice. Not enough spaces to hang stuff in bathroom. They want you to hang up towels to refuse to help environment, but not enough places to hang. Also, no room to hang wet bathing suits. Pool is not necessarily heated, the room is but water is still chilly!
The staff was extremely helpful, even providing me with products that were not available usually. Room was spacious and clean. A broad range of products during breakfast. And I love the shuttle idea which allows you to quickly reach the office or shopping area. And shuttle staff is very nice to talk to.
This is my 2nd time staying at a Springhill Suites it was better then the first. The front desk staff are extremely nice and gave us appropriate information. The breakfast area was neat and stocked. But Im a stickler for cleanliness. When we checked in and arrived in our room it looked clean. But the bathroom floor clearly hadnt been mopped. It was dirty, there looked to be a blood splatter on the floor and a found some hair by the toilet floor. When we returned from dinner the path from the lobby to the elevator was filthy. When we removed the back cushions of the couch, we found crumbs. The front of the microwave needed a good wiping down as does the front and handle of the in room fridge and the cabinet door its behind. Also note the fridge has a timer on it. Id never seen it before in hotels. So the beverages, cheese sticks and veggies I put in there when we checked in at 5, by 9 were not cold. Also note if traveling with family. The bathroom doors are frosted. So if you turn the light on at night it lights up the entire room.
We did an overnight getaway with our girls and then took them to the American Girl Doll store for the first time the next day. I booked our room with the American Girl package which was so fun. Everyone went above and beyond from the time we checked in and everything was very nice. My only complaint would be the comfort of the beds. I found them to be pretty firm and uncomfortable.
Upon arriving I was greeted with upbeat and positive attitudes. The staff was very very welcoming. We walked in and went to our room with help from their team. The amenities is endless and clean! The pool did have a hint of a salt taste but don’t drink the water. They do mention the pool is heated although it didn’t feel “heated” but your body adapts if you slowly walk in or go for the instant plunge. It will shock u if you opt for the plunge. The shower in the room is freaking fantastic! The Paul Mitchell tea tree products was refreshing. No bath tub but was a walk in shower. The bed was a king but wasn’t as comfy as you’d hope. The continental breakfast was lacking bacon but the buffet was stocked well and the seating area was clean. If you’re thinking of staying please mention the key for your phone. It’s amazing and you never have to worry about losing or needing your key.If this is the representation of Marriott hotels I’m a life long supporter. You won’t be disappointed
Rooms are VERY clean and extremely nice. Did not see pictures of the rooms or anything before opening the door and was extremely impressed. High end looking from rooms to the common area. They have a nice grilling area, out side lcouches and a big charcoal fore place to sit around. Staff was incredibly kind. We had neighbors who made the room smell like weed and asked front desk to change rooms. Jacque (not sure on spelling..Jackie?) Offered to help move our stuff to our new room for us. Everything was above and beyond. Will definitely be staying here again.
Total disappointment. Thin walls. Noise all night. Made 2 complaints desk clerk. While talkg to clerk, he got 2 other guest complaints. 12am and 1:30am. Like a frat house! Security responded then, but 2hrs later, more loud screaming in hallways.then woke up to dirty water coming in from ceiling onto room 7am. I was told at desk that...yea it gets crazy on wkends here.
I understand my room rate dropped the night I stayed, but I was never offered the lower rate. As a Gold Elite member, Im very disappointed with Marriott about that. Also, one elevator was out forcing long waiting lines. The breakfast buffet was poorly stocked, with coffee and eggs running out regularly with slow restocking. I understand the location is new; but the stay wasnt what I expect from a Marriott property.
Friendly staff, large area for families to gather for pizza or whatever. Priced reasonably. Clean. Room was a little dark for me and the bathroom door slides open right in front of the bed. In door pool but that didn’t bother the kids. Good location to get anywhere in Columbus. Would stay again
I am a longtime Marriott customer and have only complained 1x in 25+ years of traveling. I used points for this stay. Upon checking in at 3:00p, I was given a key and entered a room that was not even clean. The beds were unmade, towels on the floor as housekeeping never entered the room. I went to the front desk to advise them and they were going to get housekeeping right on it. I checked back at 4:00p and the room was still not complete. I asked for another room and they gave me one immediately. I have no idea why I was forced to stay in a lobby for an hour after the required check in time when rooms were ready. Then on Sunday I left the room with my stuff but did not check out. I knew there was a chance I would be back to take a shower after a baseball game. I came back at 10am and housekeeping took all the sheets off the bed and the towels out of the room. At no point did the staff do anything to even remotely make this right. There was no offer for a free beverage, a snack, reward points, etc. I feel the points I used should be credited to some extent.
Our son, an OSU student, decided at the last minute that he wanted a break from dorm life so we needed to switch our room from a king to a double queen. It was a busy weekend and they were fully booked, but they did their best and we were able to switch to a double queen and stay in it for the duration. The staff was wonderful, accommodating and patient with our issue.
This brand new hotel was beautiful to look at, clean, and had a great breakfast! Downfalls the beds were uncomfortable, had to keep calling for towels etc, the the rooms were small & cramped (but big bathrooms). No hot tub and the brand new indoor pool was out of order. Also, the hotel bar closes VERY early o weekends!!
Decently clean. Located near town center. Outrageous pet fee. Breakfast wasn’t at traditional hours and the time wasn’t posted anywhere so we got there at 9 and they had closed it. Overall trying to be upscale but cutting some cheap corners. Would go to the Hampton inn across the street for the same price.
Rooms are nice. Updated. Clean. Bed is comfortable. Pillows can be good or bad depending on how you like your pillows. These were soft and pliable. Breakfast selections are mostly high carb foods. Breakfast on a Saturday is until 10am, but they were removing all the donuts by 9:40am. If you are a Bonvoy member, the dont give welcome points. :(
The Springhill Suites offers a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. The esthetics of the rooms decor to the maxi comfortable beds are divine. The complimentary breakfast offers a variety of hot and cold choices but, needs improvement on stocking juice selections. Overall a great stay and centralized to Easton Mall and outdoor activities. I definitely will stay again.
I was beyond impressed with the layout, design and customer service! The employees did 5 star customer service, volunteering to bring back coffee if it was empty, reheat pizza we had brought! It’s been awhile since I have been treated so well at a hotel where you weren’t paying a crazy high price for it!
Kids running up and down the hall had us up at 7am every morning. Being a musician, getting back to the hotel at 1-2AM, being respectful and quiet, I guess the expectation for the same in return in the AM is unreasonable. I heard kids will be kids, but that will no do when you a on a work trip, trying to get enough sleep to do you job at a high level. Again, I almost checked out do to lack of sleep, but knew I would lose my 30,000 points. A refund would be great, but I have zero expectation that this will be done. My Titanium Elite status with 375 stays I guess doesnt mean as much as I assumed.
Management blamed me for creating a water issue in room below us. I only used the toliet, once. Came to room on two occasions while my kids were sleeping. Pounding, like the police. At 10pm said we had to move. I decided to go home instead. I made the two hour drive home. Do not stay here. Very unclean and noisy.
A short drive from the Easton Center, Springhill offers an amazing experience away from the business of the area. The shuttle service is wonderful option and the front desk is able to offer recommendations for dinner and discount coupons. The bar area is nice and creates a relaxing atmosphere with a great bar tender!
The hotel is very nice. I had issues with the Marriott website and had to call Reservations to finally resolve the issue, but that has nothing to do with this property. That being said, the hotel and staff were nice and I would stay there again for sure if the other hassles related to my reservation did not occur.
I can not express what an excellent time I had staying at the SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton Area. Staying at a customer-focused and friendly location adds to the experience of being away from home! Thank you to all of the staff at SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton Area!
Arrived from Kansas City to Columbus, Ohio to celebrate my moms 88th birthday with my nephew. From time I walked in to lobby, everyone friendly, helpful, and knew who we were thanks to Shannon.Shannon coordinated room close to doors so Mom didnt have long walk, helped me arrange birthday flowers for the room, and arranged a goody bag for her. Shannon even asked about food restrictions for the bag. Mom was delighted not only with bag, but all the signatures wishing her Happy 88th.We will definitely stay here next time we visit my nephew!!
If using the Bonvoy app to check in and get an eKey is important to you, don’t stay here. Especially during Covid19, I wanted to bypass reception - but instead I had to call for a response (no chat response), then I was told (even though the app said my key was on the way) “we do t use those here, you have to come in to check in in person.” By the way, this requires you to pick up a phone outside, dial a number, stand in a line with others checking in, hand your I’d and card to the front desk clerk then use an expensive to sign. Atleast they have hand sanitizer. If they offer these services, they should work. Otherwise just be like every other hotel brand.
Great , clean , comfortable , and stylish hotel with friendly, efficient, and professional front desk staff . Location is wonderful with access to great restaurants, shopping , and entertainment directly across the street .... love it !!! Safe area and convenient access to major highways.

2022-06-06We decided to take a quick getaway to Columbus and this location was fantastic. The room quality and size for the price can’t be beat. The room was very clean and the check-in/out procedure was easy. They had a great selection for breakfast and the employees handling that were very friendly as well. We did not use the pool but it was open and looked clean. We will definitely use this hotel again if we are back in the area.

2022-06-05You can tell that the staff cares about the cleanliness of the hotel, due to how clean the rooms were. Only reason for the 4/5 is because the walls are paper thin and we were woken up several times by the teenagers in the room next to us between 1a - 3a. We had to call down to the front desk 3 separate times to rectify the situation and they did send someone up each time we called. Breakfast was good, even had gluten free options. Definitely a convenient location if you are going to Easton for a shopping trip!

2022-03-02Amazing hotel, just went last weekend! Very clean, pool wasnt as clear as I thought it would be, but it was probably a lot of people that went in. There must had been a cheer competition going on nearby, it was really busy.Overall very comfortable, clean hotel, staff was amazing! This is probably the best hotel in Columbus, especially with it being by a shopping mall!

2022-07-10Clean, friendly staff, and safe. My only complaints are a few snacks and drinks cost $35, so dont forget to bring your own. The rooms were clean and modern but narrow. The design could be more open but is dedicated to a larger bathroom and walk-in closet. And lastly, as with nearly every hotel these days, some guests clearly smoke marijuana in their rooms, and the smell is unavoidable in the hallways.I would stay here again, as its better than Holiday Inn.

2022-06-27Wow. The rooms were so modern and clean. The bathroom was big, and the beds were comfortable. I stayed for only a night but I loved it. The breakfast buffet was good, but COVID safety precautions made it less enjoyable, great experience nonetheless.

2022-04-11Great staff. Nice rooms. Nice breakfast buffet. Nice pool table, bar and indoor swimming pool. Just a place I am glad I picked. Definitely would stay here again. Lots of kids on weekends but they handled it well.

2022-06-29The hotels rooms are great. The people are very helpful and location is great. However the breakfast food is very lacking. The breakfast sandwich was hard and just horrible to even try to eat. Other than that they had muffins and cereal. Very minimum. Please bring back homemade waffles and sausage.

2022-02-02Really nice room, good area not a lot of traffic, really nice hotel in general. The room is really modern it’s very pretty and super clean! Beds are really comfortable and the shower was great. They don’t give you those cheap shampoo and conditioner bottles either they have top notch body soap shampoo and conditioner from Paul Mitchell inside the showers that smells sooo good😩The people who work here are very nice super helpful. They have a really nice indoor room temp salt water pool. The pool guy/maintenance man was so nice and you can tell he takes great care of it. The breakfast buffet food was actually really good with a lot of flavor lol, and it doesn’t end at 7am like other hotels where breakfast is so early everyone misses it. I think it’s until about 9-930. Also checkout is at 12 which is a huge plus as almost all hotels are 11am now for their own convenience, but not this one! Will definitely stay again!

2022-02-22My family and I stay at a lot of hotels throughout the year. This hotel was spacious, clean, and met our needs. The building is actually 2 hotels into one...Springhill and Towneplace. The hotel was cazy busy with families. I think there was a hockey tournament going on somewhere close. There were lots of kids everywhere. We had no issues checking in. I requested a top floor room and was given top floor. My husband requested to stay away from the elevators. The elevators do not have rooms across from them so no matter where your room is located, there will not be elevator noise. The rooms are large. There are two tvs in the room. Plenty of pillows and blankets. The bed is firm but not overly hard. The closet is the size of a small bedroom. The bathroom is large. The bathroom has the barndoor style door which is not ideal when you are sleeping in the middle of the night and someone needs to go to the restroom. They have to slide the door closed and it is kind of loud. They also cant turn the lights on to use the restroom because the bathroom door is made mostly of frosted glass. The light is blinding in the room at night. The curtains are black out for the most part. We did hear hallway noise before bed but we brought 3 fans. 2 personal fans and a large fan...it did the trick to drowned out the hallway noise. Breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast minus making your own waffles.I would absolutely stay here again.

2022-04-03The only place I enjoyed during my stay was the lobby. Front desk was very unprofessional. One remote for 2 tv’s in the room. Im watching one and my son changes the other, it changes what I was watching. Woke up this morning to iron my clothes and what does the iron do water leaks out and soiled my clothes instead of getting hot and straighten my clothes. It was suppose to be a happy weekend get away. Very disappointing.
