If you look through these reviews, you will notice a lot of them are left by employees. Probably more than you see, because some people did not identify themselves as employees. This is because Sprenger pressures its employees to leave 5 star reviews to increase the facilitys star rating and move higher in search results. Dont be fooled. Sprenger is a morally corrupt company that views patients as dollar signs and routinely finds more and more dishonest ways of decreasing the amount and quality of the care provided to your loved ones and increasing the amount of money in their pockets. Denying quality and quantity to the patients is monetarily incentivised. You would be appalled if you saw the food budget alone. Its single dollars per patient per day. Its very close to prison food costs - and purchased at the same place. Meanwhile, the people responsible for creating the budget pocket at least 100k annual salary (more if they come in under budget and get a bonus.) Sprenger has become very good at building beautifully attended and decorated facilities to convince you they will give the same time, attention, and care to your loved one. They will not. If you love your family member, do not send them here or to any other Sprenger facility.

Clean. Good food. Wish staff was a littlebetter trained. Getting info in pricing and spend down is impossible. This was three years pre covid.Three years later. Post covid. Limited staff. No housekeeping services for three plus days in room. More lens and never see RN β€˜s. More agency help. Nursing is dependent on who is working. Once our loved one leaves we will be not recommending them. Many residents walking around unsupervised. Resident fell no one knew. We had to try to find someone. One nurse on in an entire wing. Residents with dirty clothes and many with no shoes on. Very sad

Very nice staff πŸ€— entered and felt like a home. Seeing the residents and greeting them just for a short time made my day.

So proud to work for this facility and an honor to take care of the residents! Sprenger is home to me and grateful for such a great company and family to work for. Would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for long term or rehabilitation care.

This is the greatest and most remarkable nursing facility that I have ever imagined existing. It far exceeds my expectations, and blows me away. I have seen many nursing facilities and this is by far the best. Its luxury resort living, mixed with top notch nursing care. The furnishings are beautiful, around every corner is a beautiful sitting room or area that more often than not has a fireplace. (Ive never seen so many fireplaces!) Theres a billiards room, a pub area, an indoor pool, a putting green, something like 5 lovely courtyards, cafes, a Main Street that has all the places that youd want to visit, from a post office, and salon, to a delightful cafe, and Towne Hall. Theres also a theater room, and aside from the gala sized dining halls, a glass ceilinged food court area complete with a giant fish tank, with living coral and amazing fish. Just extraordinary. The staff is chipper and upbeat, and everyone does their part to help make it a great place to be.I would love to live there.

Just transferred a loved one out of here after 10 days. (Went to Brookdale Westlake) Terribly understaffed. Food was inedible. No cushion in her bed mattress. Marks on her butt from the bed frame. Very condescending nursing staff. A nasty cooler in the hall for ice. The kind of place you go to die when no one cares about you. Other positive reviews sound fake to me. β€œGreatest most remarkable facility ever imagined”!?!? Really... Read the ones about the food and the care. Maybe the independent living is better. If your loved one needs β€œcare” go somewhere else!!

Visiting a family member who has been in physical therapy for over a week. The food is so terrible he has not eaten one meal there. His wife brings his food. They do not empty the urinal unless they are asked.Who wants took at pee in a plastic bottle sitting on a bedside table all day?The place is newer, looks nice, has good physical therapists but the employees who help patients in the rooms on a daily basis need more training and need to communicate better with the patients.

The staff at Avenue Assisted living go out of their way, above and beyond, to make sure the residents feel loved and cared for, especially now that they are not seeing their families on a regular basis due to the pandemic. Their kindness has made all the difference in the lives of many!

They need to hire more help, they have one person feeding 40 people and that one person not one serves the food, but they also have to feed everyone. So this one person is running around like a mad man. They also need to hire more nurses and aids, they claim they change the clients one every other hour, it’s more like once a day, if they don’t ask and many people there can’t communicate properly anymore

The reason for 1 star is the management and not the nursing and Stna staff doing the day work. I agree with some other reviews that the food needs and upgrade. Its not awful but could be improved. The staffing is low. Pay more to staff and not sponsor a baseball field.
