Richard Carver (Asst. Service Manager) was extremely friendly and helpful. He knew what the problem was and explained everything to me upfront. My car was finished very quickly, and Richard even helped me out with the Good Will program on the repair. Coming from another dealership whose service department I used to dread going to - I am looking forward to working with Richard again!
Darrell Leibe and Zach Ruda were very helpful in my purchase of a new Ram 1500 Truck. They were both knowledgeable and were able to answer any questions I had, making it easy to decide what features, Trim package, and Cab size were the right fit for me. Overall I could not be happier with my new truck.
I have been buying vehicles from and having them serviced at Spitzer Jeep for many years. The Service Dept. Is great. My service representative was Richard Carver and he was very pleasant, thorough, patient and professional. He spent time with me explaining my options and that was, very much, appreciated.I never hesitate to recommend Spitzer to friends and family.
Todd Pastva was so helpful during our service experience. He called to let us know what was found, gave detail as to why it needed to be fixed, and also gave appropriate recommendations for other services we were due for based on mileage. He followed up to less us know it was complete as well. Very informative, kind, and pleasant both in person and via phone.
My dog is exhausted from all the loving she received during my oil change appointment today. (Or maybe it was the pile of dog biscuits she accumulated at check-in). Every staff person who walked by us in the waiting area was friendly and attentive, complimenting her and even playing with her. You can see from the photos that she was really lavished 😊.Great place!
Mr. Joel is the man ...... He treated me and my fiance like family.... Nothing but respect for this guyFinance guy : Mr. Frank was the coolest dude in the dealership. And I appreciate the operator who was standing at the desk ..... This dealership is my favorite now I will go back for LIFE ..... cant wait to pick up my JeePFrom a Army Veteran to this dealership aka Family Thank you all and my God Bless you all
Brought my vehicle in Friday the 17th and they didnt even look or get to it until that following Tuesday (5 days it just sat there and i paid for a rental out of pocket for the entire time they had my vehicle)... Samantha was assigned my case and never once spoke to her. Called several times and left messages. Finally spoke to the manger Ed. They had my vehicle for TEN DAYS and once I picked it up the original problem/noise I brought it in for was never fixed. I needed brakes and rotors and they fixed my struts, lol. But dont worry hes chief technician was on it but somehow drove it on the highway and didnt hear the noise or my steering wheel shaking (didnt happen prior to bringing it in). We love that!I would never recommend having them work on your vehicle, especially if youre a female. Shame on the for putting me in a vehicle that isnt even safe. I can guarantee you they wouldnt let their mother/sister/wife/daughter drive away in.
My family and I have been going to spritzer for decades. I recently was car shopping, I worked with a salesman by the name Robert Oroshaj. He was nice in the beginning, but became kinda condescending. Never really laughed with us when making jokes and was generally dry. Nearing the end when numbers were pulled (& I WAS TOLD IT WOULD NOT HIT MY CREDIT AT ALL BUT IT DID) he became a rude, unreasonable person. He would not listen to my request, made extremely snarky comments. Saying he gave me a great deal when in reality he gave me no deal. Told me I won’t find cars else where or even a better price. (I ACTUALLY DID) I asked him kindly to stop using aggressive sales tactics on me, he leaned back in this chair and said with an attitude “honey, I’ve been doing this for 10 years, I don’t use sales tactic but ok. “ I left almost immediately after that. I was mortified.EDIT: I was, as you can probably see below, left a snarky comment by Adam Black. Horrible.
I would like to thank Richard Carver for the excellent service we had at Spitzer on Brookpark. Spitzer could use more people like Richard. Thanks Richard! It was nice to have someone that would listen to our concerns. That means a lot.Richard Carver is the only reason we went back.
Darrell had approached me one morning while I was getting service. He saw me looking at the Grand Wagneer and he told me he was the only one there for the moment but he would be able to allow me to have the ultimate experience if I booked an appointment. Schedule An Appointment but failed to make it. Few days went by and he called me and ask me what happened.Fast Fwd… Came The Next Day Was Fully Advised by Every Car On The Lot ( Pros And Cons) And Today I Am The New Owner Of 2022 Dodge Ram Truck….Mr. Liebe Thank You For You Outstanding Service And Professionalism. See You In August For My Wagoneer.
Next few days will influence my feelingsand satisfaction. service personnel did whatthey were able to do to satisfy my needs worst part of job was waiting for parts. probably not their fault. took more than 2 months for alfixes. i was able to still drive the car while we waited for parts. now with that said i think they did their best. be careful of warranty criteria for loaner car. it makes loaners either costly or non existant. if not for loaner car i would havee rated more stars.
Zero stars. Is this how this place operates. Went to this dealership to look and not 1 salesperson came out to see if I needed any help. What happened to the days when a salesperson wanted to make a sale, guess not these people are lazy and want you to go to them. No customer service at all.
I had made an appointment to drop my vehicle off for service they said 8:30 a.m. I was there at 8:30 a.m. didnt hear nothing from anybody all day I called about 5:30 p.m. and they said theyre just now getting my vehicle in the left me without my vehicle all day when I talked to the guy he told me they couldnt find nothing wrong I tried to explain to him what the problem was it seemed like he didnt want to hear it . I picked my vehicle up at 6 p.m. that wasnt fair if they were going to look at my vehicle at 5:30 they should have told me bring it in at 5:30. Its going to be hard for me to trust them to look at my vehicle again
My experience was phenomenal I had an agent named Josh Darnell very good help me out a lot theyre very understandable reasonable they tried their best to meet your requirements in a vehicle and price-wise I would highly recommend this location to everybody theyre very good people very good experience then too many car life and never had this much of a good experience ever five cities in the ones from Express just the other day
These guys are the BEST! I was in town from Virginia bringing my wife to the Cleveland Clinic. My Jeep transmission started acting up and I called Spitzer CDJR. Even though they had no appointments for two weeks, the person answering the phone got me to an advisor Richard. Richard discussed the issue I was having and again, while there was no space available to work on my vehicle, he asked me to bring it in so he could check for error codes. Once there he personally checked the codes and found nothing wrong. He went the extra mile and asked to look under the hood where he found that a transmission line had become disconnected and was dumping transmission fluid out of my system. With a 7 hour drive ahead of my wife and I, this could have been a disaster! He worked with technicians Chris and Tony and they shuffled me into the mix being careful to not disappoint their other clients. An hour later everything was fixed and we were on our way. Thank you!!
I wish I could give Darrell Liebe and Spitzer 100 stars because I just bought a 2022 Jeep Compass and it was the best car-buying experience ever! Darrell and every one at Spitzer is so nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I will continue to buy cars from Darrell and Spitzer!
I bought my jeep wrangler from Randy at Spitzer a few years ago and have nothing but good things to say about them. I love my car and whenever I need service I take my Jeep to their service department. They always go above and beyond and Im someone who never makes appointments. Whether I need my car looked over before going on a long trip or I need an oil change and basic maintenance they are always happy to help. Last week while checking in for service I asked if they knew of a good car wash that does interiors too. They offered to vacuum out my car at no additional charge! I thought that was so nice. Also, they have a nice waiting area with coffee, water and wifi which makes getting work done a breeze while waiting for my car. Just an example of why this dealership is superior in service and customer care. Thanks Spitzer!
First impressions are essential and mean a lot to me. With that being said, perception can be accurate sometimes. Over the past few years of dealing with Dodge regarding services on my vehicle have been pleasant and professional. At this particular location, I encountered rude unknowledgeable staff, which made my experience very uncomfortable. I made my appointment days in advance and even dropped my vehicle off a day prior. The lack of simple communication the days following were strange. Also, the $700 charge to replace a water pump was ridiculous. I have a newer vehicle with mileage that isnt high and in great shape. I called a different dealership and explained what was going on got a great price!!! Hundreds of dollars less including labor and new parts. I will never bring my vehicle back to his location. I dont care if I needed a windshield wiper replaced. This Veteran wouldnt give them a red cent.
I bought my first car from this dealership about 2 years ago-the team really helped me with all my questions and got me the PERFECT vehicle. Best part is I didnt feel bullied into buying-it was just a great fit. Later, I met Todd Pastva when I took my car in for some issues with the automatic start-and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed quickly and at a fair rate. Since then he is the only one I go to for work on my car or questions. Todd left for a span and I literally drove the extra half hour just to have him be in charge of my service. Hands down best contact at a dealership I have ever met!
My first time buying a car from a dealership. I was intimidated!! I went to three different lots before going to Spitzer’s. No need to name them.. they were friendly but not as helpful and patient as the employees at Spitzer’s. Very professional and on top of everything. I appreciated the genuine help to find me a car I can afford and feel good in. Paul, Jesse, Nick and the Manager were great. I highly recommend looking for your next set of wheels at Spitzer’s Brookpark location.
I had some recall work performed at this dealership. One of the things changed was my alternator. My car never gave me a battery saver mode message until after this new alternator was installed on my car. When this message appears my steering gets hard. The service advisor Todd didnt listen to nothing I had to say but tell me its my battery. The alternator chargers the battery the car starts and the alternator is suppose to handle the power for the car. I bought a new battery yesterday and still getting the message. Now I have a new recalled alternator and a new AC Delco battery rated at 800CCA and still the problem persists. Theres something wrong with the alternator and it needs to be fix just like the Bluetooth module they put in my car skips when playing music. That was over 800$ to fix. The advisor says to me its my radio, didnt even try to test drive the car and see what I was even explaining to him. Both suggestions from him were over 500$ the radio alone was about 700$. Im very upset that I was pushed aside and a not taking care of like every other customer should be. I drive far everyday and depend on my car to get me back and forth safely. This dealership has lost all my confidence in the knowledge and experience the service department has I will not be bringing my car there ever again.
Outstanding Dealership.I arrived later to get my oil changed. They cheerfully serviced my Jeep Wrangler. The Service was very clean and orderly. The showroom and waiting room were friendly and comfortable. I will always have Spitzer CDJR Cleveland service my Jeep Wrangler!
Overall..my dealer Randall Milton was very knowledgeable and professional throughout my purchasing experience. I was very specific in what I was asking and he listened to my needs and wants and made sure he worked around everything that I was looking for. Will be recommending his services to friends and family
I had a flat tire on my Jeep on a Saturday morning and I didnt have a tool to remove lug lock from my tire. The Service Manager, Todd Pastva drove out to assist me when his shift was finished which was over and above service. From there, Mike finished the work at the dealership and was very fair with pricing. Well done service team!
My experience with Spitzer was great. I could not ask for a better experience. I called in, spoke with Zach Phelps and scheduled an appointment to come in. When I arrived, everyone was pleasant and professional. Zach spent about a half hour with me just talking about stuff and gathering information. Zach was able to find a vehicle that suited my needs and was within my budget. No pressure. When we went for a test drive, he explained all the bells and whistles. I appreciate that he patiently answered all my question. When we got back Zach sent the deal to Finance. After a relatively short amount of time, Zach introduced me to John Hohvart, the Finance Manager. John took a lot of time to explain step by step what he did to make it happen. He was very thorough and made sure I understood everything I was signing. He even provided me with some helpful information that was unrelated to this deal. John has great personality and the ability to put your mind at ease. He made this process fast and easy and enjoyable .... well as enjoyable as a $500 car payment can be lol. Zach and John are definitely assets to your company. I have recommended Spitzer to family and friends and I hope they stop by. Thank you for the great experience.
I had a very bad expireance with there service dept. They worked on my car for 3 1/2 hours ,the service manager came up to me an ask if I ordered new radio I said no. I made a appointment to get my radio replaced I thought it was in stock since I was getting it replaced, the service tech did not tell me they needed to order it .this is after waited 3 hours. The manager told me I had to make another appointment. After 3 hours they told I needed a new door latch because it didnt lock automatically. So after 3 1/2 hours later I was charged $166 dollars I was told I need a new door latch and I have to order the radio thru . them.I was fit to be tied. Then when I got my van back the temp gage was all the way up like some buddy was driving it around. I ask them about and they said it never left the Building and it was almost a 1/4 of a tank less! That is the last time I go to Spitzer dodge!
We dropped our Jeep off at this dealership and told them we need them to look at our radio and tell us what’s wrong with it. They told us that we would have our car back by the end of the day. I called them at 3pm to see if they were finished or if we could pick it up. They told me they would have a technician call us back in a few minutes. No one called us back and then no one answer for the last hour they were open. Do not leave your car with this dealership if you are relying on them to get your car back on time or even have them call you back. Absolutely terrible communication.
Horrible service and extremely unprofessional. We paid cash for a new Jeep Gladiator and staff told us that they would deliver our car personally due to our car breaking down. First we were told we would get it 6:00pm Saturday, they brought it but “ forgot the key”. They promised it to us Sunday by 2:30pm at the latest. Then communicated with us until 5:00pm Sunday each time stating “ I’m just finishing things up and then I’m on my way” . We even received a call from them during this time asking if we would like to sell our Jeep to ANOTHER CUSTOMER INTERESTED IN IT. When we said no, they stopped answering our calls. We then spoke to a manager, who told us the soonest they are willing to get the vehicle to us is TUESDAY. No apology, no empathy, just blunt and careless. Don’t recommend them. My husband was about to buy another vehicle from them but after this experience we will be going elsewhere.
I had a fantastic experience in selling my 2020 F150 Raptor to Spitzer family of Dealership - Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Specifically Zachary Ruda reached out to me via my listing. He was Very polite and honest, In assuring his dealership would give me close to my asking price and not play games or waste my time by trying to low-ball me. The deal process took less than 30 minutes and was actually enjoyable! Zack and his management team were very professional and fair! I highly recommend them whether buying or selling! They are Great honest people!
I have been buying vehicles from Spitzer for decades now, used and new. It seems like my next buying experience is better than my previous ones. This dealership makes you feel like family. Never any pressure, always work with you to get the best possible deal. From management to salesman to porter, they show me ultimate respect and in turn they have earned my respect. Heck, they even put up with my corny humor. I highly recommend this dealership, top to bottom. In the future, when I get tired of my beautiful new Ram 1500, I know where I will go for my next purchase.
Anthony Nemi was my sales person. He was very professional and straight to the point. He covered all my questions and had all the answers. He was not over pushy and asked me what I wanted, then found the truck I was looking for. Easy to deal with and left in my new truck in about two and a half hours. Highly recommended!!!
Had to have a few parts replaced in my van, and Tayler made sure that everything went smoothly with my warranty I had in place and was able to get everything done in less than a couple weeks. I appreciate the great service that was provided and look forward to returning (when necessary!) to have any further work done or care!
Bought a certified pre owned 2020 jeep. Love the vehicle, but 6 weeks after purchase I bought a dash cam for my vehicle. It needed to be plugged into a 12V outlet which my jeep has 3. 2 of which do not work, the only one that works is in my trunk which does not help me. I specifically bought certified pre owned so I wouldn’t have problems. I’ve emailed the service manager multiple times regarding the issue and texted my salesman. No one ever responded to me. When I finally called they told me that service manager no longer works for Spitzer, but if I wanted to get my vehicle looked at it would cost at least $160 for them to look at it plus whatever the cost of the problem is. I pay extra every month for a bumper to bumper warranty, not to mention my car is CPO. why should I have to pay for a problem to be corrected when I bought the car and it had faulty 12V outlets? My salesman assured me my car was 100% serviced before I bought it and it doesn’t seem to be that way. I can’t tell you how many voicemails, texts, and emails I’ve sent to different departments to get no response. But before I bought my vehicle, I sent many emails and texts to people at Spitzer and they answered back within an hour. But the minute they have my money, they have no idea how to respond back to a customer that just gave them a ton of money. The only human I talked to said the new service manager would call me back in 20 minutes, and it has been well over 3 days and no one called back and whenever I try to talk to anyone, I have no luck. Like I said before, I love my vehicle and the only problem I have are with 12V outlets, not performance related (thank goodness), but if it is this tough to get a minor issue resolved, I can’t imagine how hard it would be to have a major issue corrected. This place needs to work on customer service as well. When you tell a customer the manager will call them back, don’t leave them out to dry. Along with just blatantly ignoring emails, voicemails, and texts.
I bought the car told sales man head lights had water in them he said not a problem we will fix them so 2weeks after we bought the van Covid hit and everything turned upside down well the torque converter went out so took back to the dealer was treated horrible from the appointment people to the service people after 2 weeks got my van back told me we are not fixing the head light van was dirty and hell inside and we just drove from the detail shop to the dealer to have it fixed I will never set foot and give any Business to this dealer again this is a bad way to treat people
PLEASE READ!! I had a great experience this passed weekend at this dealership. This is the second time I have bought a car from this dealership and I can say that this time it was so painless it was breathtaking. I had a great experience with Jesus, Jorge and Phillip. When I say they work as a team to provide the best experience in car buying history. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to everyone I know!! They definitely made me feel very comfortable when I was super nervous!
Amazing service at the service department! Richard (Service Manager) and his tech fixed a problem Ive had with my 2020 RAM since the day I purchased it. My RAM was purchased at North Olmsted CDJR in Sept 2020 and one year later they basically told me there is nothing they could do. Richard took care of my vehicle and provided 5 star service at every step! Spitzer CDJR Cleveland will be my dealer moving forward. Thank you
Zero stars!!!customer service non-existent. 15min diagnostic work that consisted of visual inspection: lock mechanism fuel tank door, water in taillight, exhaust leak (broken bolt at cat.) = 154.00 just to be told not covered under the warranty they sold me.BTW-all of the above issues I informed them about prior to there diagnostic inspectionlong discussion with service manager, unfortunately no help. I would have been satisfied with a compromise on the charges. I do not expect someone to work for freegreat work guys you lost my business and referrals, sorry Darryl ( sales manager)5/20/21 addendumapparently my recent review require some clarification. I was referred to the above mentioned salesperson. However, he was unavailable.wow look at all the great reviews, should of done my homework
Richard and Ed in the service department are elite, when it comes to customer service, and communication. Zach, Josh, and the whole sales department, really went to bat for me, and made my experience excellent. I cant put into words, how much this dealership, helped me out. THANK YOU!!!!
I can’t say enough about this service department. I have had my truck in & out of another dealership for three months for the same issue. My 2 year old truck was leaking oil all over my driveway. Every time I took it in to them, they sent me home telling me they were waiting on ordered hoses. I decided to try Spitzer and Ed Biro listened to me. He had my parts picked up and my truck repaired within 2 hours. Ed and his team will be my choice for now on. Spitzer delivers quality repair work!
I initially had a bad experience with a Advisor when I bought my vehicle in for maintenance. I asked to speak with a supervisor and Todd got on the phone and immediately apologized for my experience. He explained the situation and sent a car to pick me up. When I got there he took care of me and again apologize for the miss communication. I appreciated his level of customer service and for making the situation right. Thanks Todd! He was very pleasant and nice to work with.
The service department at Spitzer Motor City is excellent. They have fixed my car twice and were very knowledgeable, courteous and made sure I had a way to and from work!. They replaced two of the computers in my car which is not an easy repair and they made sure it was covered under the warranty I have before they started. They did all the leg work dealing with the warranty company and made the whole experience seem less and path o free. I would definitely recommend their service department to everyone.
I have gotten almost all of my vehicles here. The team at spitzer CDJM is patient, friendly, and accommodating. Salesman randy goes above and beyond for his customers and shows nothing but great hospitality. Thank you to the guys here to make car buying easy and stress free! 10/10 recommend.
I worked with Cesily, and she was the absolute best! So easy to talk to and to work with! I gave her a number I wanted and she never tried to go to anything higher, she stayed right there the whole time. I was in and out with a new purchase within just a couple hours. I highly recommend this store and more importantly I highly recommend Cesily as your sales person!
This used to be a good dealership not so much anymore bought a 2015 ram from my usual salesmen took it for a ride noticed a little wobble he said dont worry well take care of it it has a warranty so took his word bought the truck went to drive home on the highway felt like the truck was coming apart took it to the dealership they said it was tires and that they werent responsible for them so basically go f yourself.Im angry I leave go buy $800 worth of tires not the problem contact them no calls back nothing so I have a $30,000 truck I cant drive on the highway so beware of this dealership not an honest sales team. I will be contacting the attorney General and my attorney. Loyal customer for 10 years bought 4 vehicles
I am not a car person. I had a terrible experience at a different dealership and when my old vehicle needed service, I sought out other places to go...leading me to Spitzer Cleveland. EVERYONE was wonderful, helpful, and the process both times I purchased new vehicles was smooth and seamless. Cecily Meacher and Tino helped this time around and together they made it easy and even fun to be there (which is usually not the case during the process of car buying). They listened and assisted every step of the way. I am loving my new Jeep and will always recommend this dealership to anyone that asks.
Driving to Ohio the AC died in my 2014 minivan. Hundreds of miles from home with near 90 degree temperatures forecast, I knew I couldnt wait until I returned to get it fixed. Tried several Cleveland area Chrysler dealerships and none had available appointments, but Spitzer was able to take me the next day AND they had the part my vehicle needed. Timothy Carolin did brilliant work and the van was done the same day and even an hour earlier than expected. My family and I are grateful and cool. Thanks Spitzer and Timothy Carolin!
I would give their service department 4.5 stars if that were an option. We had extensive maintenance service performed on our 6-year-old Grand Caravan, and the service advisor (Mike Lanzalaco) did a terrific job of ensuring that he got as much of it as possible covered under the extended service warranty we had purchased when we bought the vehicle, saving us over $3,000 in the process. Chryslers internal requirements for verifying and approving extended warranty work led to some delays in completing the repairs, but Mike kept me well informed throughout the process and did a good job of explaining the options and keeping my expectations realistic. I cant make this a 5-star rating, as we have had to return the vehicle to Spitzer on two occasions for minor corrections of glitches that developed from the original maintenance service; however, Mike ensured that both of these issues were corrected with same-day service at no charge to us. I appreciate their readiness to stand behind their work.
Snuck into my loan a $4,200 extended warranty on a brand new truck that is already covered by the manufacturers warranty. When I went back to dispute the charge they had told me that in order to get my loan I had to get a extended warranty. When I contact my financial institution they have never heard of this practice and advised me I do not need an extended warranty to qualify for a loan. In the dealerships fine print it says you cannot cancel the extended warranty. I find this very deceptive and borderline fraud. Additionally, I was charged for Window Etching where-in they engraved the VIN number into each window as if this is some how going to help prevent the theft of my vehicle. After tinting my windows, this number is no longer visible.UPDATE: After months of some back & forth, I was able to finally get a refund for my extended warranty.
I purchased my first car from here last week. I give this place 5 stars mainly because of Lexi. She literally was so amazing, we got a deal done in 2 days. I wouldn’t have gotten the car without her or Jon the finance manager. Lexi is a wonderful worker and should be given some type of an award. I highly recommend friends and family to get a car from this location.
Randall Milton at Spitzer in Brook Park was very patient and helpful during my truck purchase. I have been wanting a full-size pickup truck for some time and had looked at several brands and models. Randy listened to me and took notes on what were the most important features I was looking for as well as what my budget looked like. He showed me several vehicles and helped me select the right one for my budget. When I had made my choice, he helped me understand all the features. I love my Ram 1500 Night Edition. While I plan to drive it for years to come, when I am looking for my next truck or if I know of somebody who is looking for any vehicle, Randy and Spitzer will be tops on my list. I did not have at all the same experience at other dealerships that I visited.
Had problems across 2 dealerships in the same dealer family (this and Al Spitzer). My mother in law, wife, and myself were all attempted to get bait and switched by finding a car we liked online, getting lured to the dealership, and was told it was elsewhere in their chain, but it couldnt get transferred to us. Each time wasting 1-2 hours of our time. Mine was even after they did this to my wife, we complained, and they still tried to get me in with the same last name and vehicle we had just had a scathing email with the night prior! Same salesperson!I took it a step further and actually went where one of the vehicles were, and got to test drive, because my wife had fallen in love with it. Then working out specifics on the sale (salesperson took 2 days to respond to me after I needed to go home to talk with wife, but emailed him that day), made an appointment to come let my wife test then likely purchase the vehicle. After multiple correspondence that day including several emails and a phone call telling him we were on our way and please have the vehicle ready for my wife to take a second test drive and warranty info to hopefully complete the purchase, we arrived at that dealership and after close to 30 minutes of different waits for different reasons, was told the vehicle was sold 15 minutes prior...then proceeded right into trying to continue to make a different sale! Had to ask multiple times and still talk to manager to get my key back, and kid at door literally was laughing at us as we left. HORRIBLE PLACE!Seriously the worst customer service in anything I have ever dealt with in my life. No ethics, no customer loyalty. Deceptive business practices...Just a reminder that bait and switch, and fraudulent advertising and sales tactics are against the law. Not everyone will be as nice as me and just walk away to take my business elsewhere.
Really good experience with this Spitzer location. Lexi was good and was accommodating. She made sure my new vehicle was clean and gassed up. She even helped me clean out my trade in, since I purchased my new vehicle on my first visit. I would definitely recommend her and this business.
*PLEASE READ* Randall Milton was good and knowledgeable. I would recommend him when purchasing a Jeep at Spitzer. The above rating is based just on Randall Milton. Now after I was done with Randall is where I had to be cautious. They will try and talk you into buying an extended warranty. I have purchased one before at Spitzer and that is where I learned my lesson. Our other Jeep has been sitting in service department since Monday. Initially they said it will be done on Wednesday, it is Thursday and they finally called and said it would be done next Wednesday or Thursday they are waiting on a part. Plus no loaners available, but they are never available. The last time they had same jeep for over two weeks we had to beg to get a loaner so we could go to work. Every time we use the extended warranty from Spitzer we get the run around. They make us wait, dont return calls promptly, are rude and condescending. I had to sometimes have to beg them to fix something that was was obviously broke and other times was told that there wasnt anything wrong and the next week said part broke. You make an appointment for morning and they get back to you at the end of the day or the next day saying what is wrong and then they start working on the vehicle on the 3rd day. people have jobs and need their vehicles when you make an appointment it should be looked at then. Dont overbook if you are too busy. That is why when we purchased our 2021 Jeep Cherokee we got our extended warranty from someone else even though we were told they were working on the service department and we now know that is not true. Now with our new jeep we do not have to deal with Spitzer service department. Plus it was much cheaper. I tried calling the GM of Spitzer prior to writing this to voice my concerns, but he would not answer the page per the receptionist. I guess it is safe to say their world does not revolve around me.
James Schneider was great! Got my vehicle in and out in a quick manner. He got me a vehicle to drive to work while mine was being worked on! Im extremely pleased with the service and professionalism with him and the staff there. He even helped me figure out what repairs I could wait on knowing that I had a tight budget. Overall great experience. I Suggested James Schneider to all my coworkers. Glad to have my jeep back in working order. Thanks again buddy!
I have dealt with many dealerships in my lifetime however this one is the absolute best. I traded in my 2019 Jeep Cherokee and was hoping to purchase a brand new one. My car was upwards toward almost 30k miles. Since my credit was not the best, it didnt take long to get approved and a payment that was acceptable. John in Finance was awesome and I believe he went with the best possible lender for me. I also believe he acted like it was his loan which is awesome. The Salesman Alex was amazing. He asked if I would consider a Certified Pre Owned vehicle. I was very apprehensive and went on to explain the extended warranty and all that was included. He hand picked another Cherokee for me except this time it was fully loaded. I was very impressed, I drove it and said Yep..I want that one. So the loan process began. I was in an out of there in 3 1/2 hours from start to finish. I dont think I will ever purchase brand new again after this. It was an amazing experience. I also got a Car Fax report as well.I would recommend Spitzer Motors to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Unlike other dealerships that are just out to sell a car and make commission their Sales Team are all non commissioned which in my opinion offers honesty and integrity as they are not only out to put you in a car you can afford but truly with you every step of the way.The follow up is awesome as well. I was also in touch for a couple weeks with Bob Paradise who texted me for follow up as I originally began to look on line. I think that is important to follow up and they all did an excellent job. Keep up the good work Spitzer Motors!!!
This is my familys 7th car from spitzer and every time we have had wonderful service from doors being held open to Adam being on top of things to Tony nemi being our outstanding sales rep every time! The financial dept worked late for us after hours when time ran out we had nothing but amazing service from everyone in the dept ! thank you guys for my 2021 grad Cherokee !!!! I LOVE IT
Ive always had a problem getting exactly what i want in a vehicle and Cecily made it possible. I wouldnt want anyone else next time i go to a dealer. She was patient and understanding with what i want and got me into the perfect truck ive always wanted. Definitely will recommend everyone to stop in and visit Cecily for there next vehicle.
I recently leased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Cecily Meacher at Spitzer Dodge Jeep Ram in Cleveland. I have to say, it was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Cecily was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable, helpful and went the extra mile for us. I would highly recommend asking for her if you are interested in buying/leasing at Spitzer.
Overall My 2019 Jeep Cherokee drives nice very comfortable but Im having repeated issues especially for a 2019 low miles. I cannot keep putting money into the problem over and over and the problem is still not fixed dealership told me I stalled because I was 1 quart of oil low. Then same problem then next visit was PCM update. Same problem when I slow down the vehicle hesitates and stalls at time especially in the middle of intersection! Very dangerous only wish someone would know what it would be..
First time purchasing a car through a dealership. I was certainly anxious about the buying process as I have never had to finance a vehicle, but the staff at Spitzer Motor City was very helpful and not overwhelmingly pushy to get me into a vehicle. Joel Wilson aka Clearwater Joel aka Tornado Joel is one of the salesman to see. I must have visited him 10 times before actually leaving the lot with a vehicle, and he was always patient and respectful with my indecisiveness. The finance manager (John from Champion, OH), got me the best possible rate, and was very thorough in explaining all of the documents I had to sign; side note he has a voice that would give Morgan Freeman & Johnny Cash a run for their money. Also, the Spitzer Shield makes buying a car from them a no brainer! Thank you Spitzer Motor City!!!
This is the 5th Jeep we have purchased from Spitzer on West 130th in Cleveland Ohio. The reason we keep coming back is because of Anthony Nemi. He is always kind, personable, respectful, helpful and always guides us in the right direction on the vehicle to purchase. One of his many great qualitys is he follows up with you every few months just to make sure your happy with your decision, and to see if we need help with anything on the vehicle.Buying would be so much better if every sales person did their job the way Anthong Nemi does.
Went in for an oil change & tire rotation on my 2020 Dodge Durango & when Joel came into the service dept. to check on something he asked about the Durango. He asked if I wanted to trade it in & I said no because it wasn’t even a year old but when he told me he could put me in a new 2021 Grand Cherokee for around the same price & keep my full warranty I agreed to take a look & fell in love with it! This is my 3rd Grand Cherokee & I’ll never buy anything but a Jeep again! Didn’t shed a tear or have second thoughts about trading in the Durango!I was there @ ten after 12 for my service appointment & I think out no later than 3:30 w/ my new Jeep!Best experience & didn’t have to spend 6 hours there!!THANKS!!
Cecily Meacher, who is a Sales Associate at Spitzer Chrysler Dodge Jeep, responded to my online application for a Jeep Cherokee Luxe. I came to the dealership with my trade in for a new Jeep. Cecily was my Sales Associate. I was impressed by Cecily because she is very informative about the Jeep brand. She answered all of my questions and made the process of trading in my vehicle for a new one seamless. She is very professional, kind, and knowledgeable and will work with you to get you into that car !!! Her Finance Manager named John was very instrumental in helping me get into a nice loan and made me feel at ease. Very nice people. Dont hesitate to buy or lease from this dealership and ask for Cecily.
The Service Department at this Dealership Lead By Edward Biro was Decent. Yet Personally Mr. Biro the Service Manager 🤔 was Amazing He Treated Me and My Issues with a Used Car I Had Purchased From this Dealership with the Upmost Respect Understanding and Concern. Insuring I Received a Loaner Car During and While my Car was Being Serviced. Thanks Edward Biro and Thanks Spitzer Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Brookpark For My New to Me Used Car..
If I could give a zero I would. I saw a SUV advertisement online without a price and I asked for the price. Bob Paradise responded with VERY HIGH PRESSURE texts. He said that price was irrelevant. I said that it was the most important. So if you are interested in a vehicle expect VERY HIGH PRESSURE SALESFORCE. Think timeshare sales. I thought that these tactics were obsolete. Just purchased a Toyota RAV 4 delightful experience. Not our first rodeo. Buyers beware.
Took my truck in for a new gas tank. On the way to the dealership I heard cracking sounds on my drivers side speaker so I asked my service adviserto check on the speaker. When I picked up the truck I was told the speaker was bad and they one in stock so they fixed it for meThank youRichard Carver
Richard at Spitzer understands the foundation of great customer service. To me, that is someone who makes you feel heard and seen. I was quite impressed with him and the team at Spitzer Brookpark Road in Cleveland. Went above what was asked and I highly recommend Spitzer and Richard.
I went to several dealerships in my hunt for a truck and this was the best by far. From start to finish and even in between Cecily assisted and advocated for me and what I wanted! Everyone was super nice and friendly. I will definitely be going back here for my next truck!
Update: 7/22/2020 My truck recently broke down on the highway and I had it towed to the dealership for service. James Schnider was awesome to deal with. He was friendly and gave me realistic expectations on when my vehicle would be ready. I will call him and deal with him again.Sales people are amazing...go see Ali. The service department is awful. I made an appointment for an oil change and they told me it would be an hour before they got to my vehicle. I said but I have an appointment, and the gentleman told me it didnt matter they could not make the walk ins that were here before me wait. So basically there is no point in making an appointment.
I would Highly recommend this dealership. Nicholas Masa did a great job helping me purchase a new car. He provided excellent service. He was friendly, knowledgeable and spent as much time as I needed to find what I was looking for. The finance manager was also very helpful and explained things well.
The Service Department is top notch! I was able to get an appointment fast with an afternoon drop off for convenience...Turns out, though, there was nothing wrong with my Jeep. Richard and Nathan were knowledgeable and walked me through what *I thought* the issue was (they didnt even make fun of my stupidity, which I whole-heartedly appreciated). They went above-and-beyond to explain some features in my car and sent me on my way quickly.
Tayler Wenmoth was great to work with. Very pleasant and personable. The only reason I didnt give my experience 5-stars is because the process took too long. I was there for nearly 6 hours which was completely unexpected. I wish they would find a way to make the car buying process virtual or partly virtual.
The service “advisor” TODD Pastva plus 2 of the mechanics around stated that my car is not “safe to drive on the freeway” because the “Rear sub frame is rusted/rotted” After a $150 diagnose, they provided me with a fun invoice of $7720 for estimated repairs!I I took the car to 3 different mechanics for diagnose including another Chrysler and Jeep dealership where they quoted me $2800 for repairs. None of the mechanics have stated that the Rear sub frame has to be replaced, but according to Spitzer mechanics “it won’t hold long”.. LADIES BE CAREFUL here, they clearly wanted to take full advantage of my situation.
I was looking to get a Jeep Wrangler, and came into the dealership by myself. Sometimes a woman coming in to a car dealership alone is treated differently than if she were a man - not in this case. Paul Lascola met me at the door and we hit it off immediately. He was professional, friendly, courteous, and not anything like any other car salesman I have worked with in the past. He made the experience easy, quick, and painless, without the endless trips back to the manager for pricing. I left the dealership feeling as though I had gotten a fair amount on my trade and a fair price for the car that I wanted. Not once did I feel that I was being oversold or taken advantage of. He also spent time with me after closing to get the paperwork done and to give me a quick tour of the car. I would recommend Paul to anyone who is looking for a straight-up buying experience. As for the dealership, everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and seemingly interested in my customer satisfaction. I will be coming back for sure.
I recently brought in my Jeep to have an oil change and regular maintenance done. It was a told over the phone that my fog light could easily be replaced since it was the original light I had when I purchased the Jeep from Spitzer. When I came in I realized that was not true since I had an aftermarket bumper, even though the lights are the same. Nevertheless, Shango made sure I understood everything happening, gave me the truth, and that is all I ask. My car was taken care of for sure.
Spitzer C-D-R really takes care of their people. After buying a new vehicle from them I realized after a few short months it was not the right one for me. Once again Cecily Meacher came through for me. She was able to get me what I wanted and take care of my recent purchase. Job well done!
Big thanks to my guy, Joshua Phelps at Spitzer CDJR. I hadnt been to the dealership since December when I bought a new Durango RT from him. Cool thing is he remembered my name when I walked through the door six months later. Helped me through the process of trading in that Durango for a Ram Longhorn. Answered every single question I had, and explained by showing me every bit of tech that that I was unfamiliar with on the truck. One of the most down to earth guys you could meet. Josh most definitely earned my trust, and future business. Thanks brother!
James Schneider is AMAZING!!!!! He totally took care of me and my 2012 RAM 1500 just like we were family. He was willing to worked with the company I have a Service Warranty with and to my surprise and appreciation he was able to get everything that needed to be done covered under my warranty and I walked out only having to pay the deductible. He always kept me informed with the status of my vehicle and what needed to be done.I will recommend James Schneider to all my friends and family that need service done on their vehicles.
Edward was great, during the service, he fixed the recall issue and he added air to my tires, and he did something to reset my dash board, I dont know how the computer works, he fixed it, I was real happy. They invited me to bring my dog inside, everyone loved him, I had a great experience.
Found a Chevrolet Spark that my dad absolutely had to have. Was the right color combination and a manual transmission. What he wanted exactly. We made the trip which was 50 miles away and purchased the car. Christine was a great salesperson and the trade was valued accordingly. This is the way a car dealer should be. Got the car home, was everything he wanted and more. Loves the car!If you ever need a great car dealer in the area, Spitzer is hands down the place to go!
Very expensive service there. Not recommend that place. They charged me $700 for change oil, oil filter and two diesel fuel filters. It took them 4 hours. Two more hours they did back door repair for me. So, i was waiting 6 hours:((Never seen that price like they have and looks like they just keep the car as long as they can to charge more for labors. Very disappointed. Not recommend.
My vehicle was towed into this location due to a flat tire on a Saturday. I recieved a follow up call Saturday letting me know that the vehicle will not be able to be looked at until Monday morning, so far so good. Luckily my girlfriend was able to lend me her vehicle since I drive to various locations during my work day. Fast forward to Monday around 5 (dealer closed at 6) no phone call. I call the dealership and Im told they were too busy that day to look even though they apparently have the car in the garage at this point, so I ask for a rental since theyve had my car for 3 days at this point. James was happy to offer me one for the inconvenience. As soon as I got there the service manager (bald guy) starts being rude to the employee telling him that hes not going home until he looks at my car, the car was sitting outside untouched and that was the first lie. The manager then comes to me and tells me I need a new tire because this one is (done for) as well as a pressure valve. Tire- $225 valve-$150ish. Having only had the vehicle for 4 months as its a 2020 jeep made me a little skeptical about this. I had another dealership tow the vehicle out of the parking lot since they clearly werent concerned about my vehicle and all I needed was for the tire to be patched. This dealer is not only rude, they are dishonest and will try to steal your hard earned money any chance they get as long as youre gullible enough. Will be reporting to the BBB asap. Stay far away from this place.
Ive had better experiences with them except for this time. I dropped my vehicle off on Monday 6/1 for a 6/2 Tuesday appointment. I have had to call them everyday to check on the status of my vehicle and as of today 6/5 they still have yet to get to my car. It wasnt like I needed extensive work, I did want an inspection to see if my electrical was okay (2016 Chrysler 200) or if I just had a dead battery and an Oil Change. There was a rattle in the back I wanted them to investigate but at this point if I can just get the Oil Changed and a new battery, Ill have someone who can get to it. My patience and trust in Spitzer is starting to run thin.......
So rude, and disorganized. I used their online service to book an appointment for an oil change. They did not have a lot of available time slots and were booking a week out, so I chose my time for the next week. The night before my appointment someone calls and said I needed to come 30 minutes before my appointment time. I moved childcare around so that this was possible. Then, the morning of my appointment another person called and said actually I needed to be there within a couple of hours. I expressed that I couldn’t and that I had a confirmed appointment and even re-arranged childcare in order to make the RECONFIRMED appointment and then woman simply said there was nothing i could do. She said I could come at the time she says or don’t get my oil changed. Perhaps one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
I would give negative stars if possible. Ive bought 6 cars from here and Im in my thirties and have taken my business elsewhere. The lack of customer service is ludicrous. Getting an appointment for covered repairs is almost impossible. Two weeks ago my rim on my car cracked and I have a warranty to cover it. I was told it would need to be repaired which I knew was impossible but I had no choice but to allow it. The first appointment was the following Monday...10 days after the crack. I dropped the car off that day making clear I needed my car back by 2 to get my children from school. I told them this when I made the appointment as well. At 115 they called to let me know the could not fix it after having my car from 9am. They said they would bring my car to me and would be there in 15 minutes. At 2 I started calling the dealership to find out where my car was and kept getting put on hold and on one coming back to the line. I left 3 messages and no one returned them. At 245 they showed up with my car leaving my children walking home on a cold rainy day for no reason. Who knows where my car was for an hours and a half? When the guy finally showed up the the car he said he had to go the long way because the cracked rim wasnt safe. The same rim that was safe for me and my family to drive on. Currently, I sitting here waiting for the new rim that they assured me would be quick... Ive been waiting over an hour already.
Nothing but positive experience buying cars from Spitzer Motor City. I am a repeat customer and will be back again for any future needs. Joel Wilson is great to work with. He is very professional and takes the time to talk with you about your needs, he doesn’t assume to know or try to push you towards a certain vehicle or deal. Whole gang there is fantastic to work with.
We have been to numerous dealerships over the years for vechile repairs. This place by far has been so exceptional and professional. Especially Ed. Ed jumped through many hoops for us. Made sure that our vehicle was properly serviced. Always kept us updated with any news. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing any kind of repair or service. Thank you so much Ed. Your eagerness to help means so much.
I’m a long time Spitzer customer. I was contacted about coming in with my 5 year old Jeep to see if I could get into something newer. Working with Angel was stress free which is a rarity at a car dealership. She listened to my wants and needs and bought the perfect car up for me to see and test drive. I won’t lie, there was some negotiating that happened. But ultimately they understood my loyalty was important and we were able to come to an agreement. I couldn’t be happier!
I went in for a recall appointment and from the time I walked in, the reps were very attentive and helpful. Chivalry was a plus! They were very polite and willing to help with every need. Even offered a shuttle service to take me home if needed (I didnt but it was a great gesture 😊) I would choose this location for my next vehicle maintenance!
I leased a Jeep 3 years ago from Spitzer and loved all of the salespeople so much, that I would not have even considered going elsewhere. They are all so polite. Joel Wilson was my salesman who explained how to use every gadget and he was incredibly patient with me trying to set up my Bluetooth and finding every channel on Sirius he could think of once I said the music I liked. Nothing was hurried and I actually had fun! I would tell anyone to go there to get fantastic service!
I purchased a beautiful white Cherokee latitude plus I received a nice discount and was able to get a 5.9% loan which made me very happy. Side effects I enjoy driving my 2020 Cherokee its a very fine vehicle maybe I trade it in a 2017 yellow Jeep renegade which I really like the lot. The car ran through 8 in of snow with ease and a heavy storm Im very happy with the renegade also I traded it in because I needed a larger car the salesman Anthony was wonderful to deal with not to mention the general manager and the finance manager great experience great people overall
I had been shopping for a new Dodge Durango for over a month and got the best price at Spitzer Dodge. My salesman Darryl Liebe is a true professional. This is the third car I bought from Darryl. The other two were when he worked for another dealership. Spitzer Dodge is lucky to have him on their team.
I had a wonderful experience with the service department at Spitzer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Cleveland. Assistant Service Manager Richard Carver took car of me when I brought my Chrysler Pacifica in for a recall. He gave me accurate wait times and came out to the waiting area on 3 separate occasions to update me on the progress of the repairs. He was very knowledgeable and considerate. Thank you Spitzer!
Joel provided excellent customer service and is a great Sales person. We are excited to be a part of the Jeep family!! Everyone at the dealership was helpful and except for one sour grape who first greeted us. Thankfully someone stepped in and guided us right to Joel and we walked out a few hours later with our purchase! Thank you Spitzer!!
So I went for a recall for my car.the guy at the service department so rude and not polite. He ask me a question I miss understood him .he started yelling at me then he noticed him self and said sorry .To late some workers not wearing masks and some customers 2 its my last time with them. I will go to another dealerships in future .
I was in the search for a Jeep Grand Cherokee within my price range and after looking several other places, I found the best service here with the good people at CDJR. Salesman Will Davis-Hereford was second to none in his efforts to ensure that both myself and my sister left with the best deal possible!
On a whim I decided it was time to trade in my 2014 Sedona and sought out several dealerships to work with. As fate would have it, none of them were concerned about giving me enough in trade value to offset the unfortunate and purported negative equity on my vehicle. Even though it is/was still a very nice minivan, I figured after 3 years of use, it was time to trade up to something fresh! I hadnt considered Spitzer but took a chance and reached out to them online. Not only were they immediately responsive and welcoming, they knew just who I was when I got there and even after I had called their 800 number to let someone know Id be late. They even got the message! Adib (the sales manager) was very friendly, cordial, and kind! He promptly introduced me to one of his senior salesmen Kirk Kennedy, who was a pleasure to work with. He asked all the right questions and went right to work. He found me the perfect new car, a 2017 Journey, worked effortlessly, and transparently, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Ive bought many cars over the years, and I believe this is the best, fastest, and smoothest sales transaction and transition. Ive ever had. Hats off to Spitzer, their sales staff, and their finance team for getting me just what I wanted, lowering my car payment, and making me feel that I was the most important thing in their day!
After having several issues with my vehicle, Ed and his staff did everything in their power to find the root of the problem. Ed went over and above his responsibilities to make sure that problem will be resolved. We had some communication issues in the beginning, but after we sat and talked I am confident that him and his team are on my side and going to take care of everything. Thank you Spitzer
It was a wonderful car buying experience from start to finish. Walking away the proud owner of a 2016 Jeep Renegade. Melissa Granke greeted me & set up my appointment via email before even stepping foot in the door. Offering me her website with car buying information, as well as ideas for what to shop for before my appointment helped as I am not an experienced car buyer. In the dealership I was greeted with a very friendly and helpful staff. Melissa helped get me into a car that fit my budget as well as had features that I have always wanted in a vehicle. Financing was an easy process and the staff made for an overall enjoyable afternoon. Walking in as a fairly intimidated new car buyer Id recommend to anyone I know to come to here, there was no pressure, no sales pushes and a knowledgeable team to answer any questions I had about the car. Overall, great car buying experience.
I may have learned a very hard lesson in the way to do business with Spitzer. However, what I am clear about is to never trust the Spitzer automobile dealer again. For 25 years a refrained from dealerships because they are NOT customer-centric. Not when it comes to the almighty dollar that is. The fact that there is no consideration except the full term of the lease payment is a chilling reminder of buyer beware. If I was a deadbeat and couldnt afford it I would gladly default on the covenant, but that is not the point and not who I am.I am a dissatisfied customer and now a furious one. I was willing to pay a penalty to find an amicable solution and even consider another business venture with Spitzer. You all proved to me today that my instincts are correct about buying/leasing new automobiles.I will have 35 more months to remind myself of that but rest assured I will spend every one of those months researching every legal aspect to remove myself from the Spitzer, Jeep and Chrysler name. While this rant gives me little satisfaction, I have cleared my head and path to seek whatever assistance I can elsewhere.Adamantly,Customer No More
This was a much easier buying experience than anticipated. After receiving poor customer service at another dealership, we decided to come to Spitzer to lease a new Charger. Anthony was very helpful. As a whole, the team was able to give us a better deal than the previous dealership AND provide great customer service! Anthony called to follow up the next business day, and really seems sincere about wanting to make my experience with Spitzer the best possible. I would recommend them to anyone! Also, I love my car!
This was our first time taking a vehicle for service to this dealership, on the recommendation of a friend. The staff was friendly and courteous and respected that we decided to do some of the repair on our own with parts from their parts department to save some of the labor costs.
Brought my 2015 Jeep Cherokee in for regular maintenance service and checked out the new Cherokees on the lot. Not really looking for a new vehicle, I saw one that had everything I was looking for (which really wasn’t much). I inquired about the vehicle to salesperson Alex Ringenbach, who answered all my questions, never attempted a hard sell, and made sure I was satisfied throughout the process after I decided to purchase the Cherokee. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from this dealership. If you want a new car/SUV/truck, I suggest calling/visiting Alex Ringenbach at Spitzer .
Our tech was Timothy Carolin for this visit. We are particularly fussy about our 2014 Jeep Patriot and since it still has under 13,000 miles on it we are sensitive to every funny noise or rattle it makes. We always take it back to the dealer (Spitzer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Cleveland) on BrookPark Road because thats where we bought it new. We have always been pleased by the service otherwise we wouldnt bring it back. We got a new battery this time and we look forward to many more years with it.
The service was excellent as always. I was given all the information I needed to understand the issues with my car. However, I felt very uncomfortable in the service intake area as several times while I was waiting employees were waling thru the area without masks. The service intake people were protected by a shield but I was still uncomfortable with this set up. When I walked thru the waiting area, several people were not wearing their masks.
Worst experience with any service dept. Very Shady. lied about work performed, when they were called out on it, just sent an advisor to remove the charges from the bill. While i was there they tried to separate 3 other customers complaining about their bills. If I could give them a negative I would. NEVER going back there.
Rob as requested my experience started with Spitzer on Aug 2 when I dropped my van off to have a rusted bolt removed from the rear lift gate. I had made an appointment with Todd and arrived for the appointment to be told that I was just dropping off and that they wouldnt even look at it until Monday. First, I dont understand why I needed to make an appointment to not even have my vehicle looked at while I was onsite. Second, I chose this location because your service center is open on Saturday thinking it would be seen/worked on over the weekend. Monday came and went, I heard nothing. I reached out on Tues 8/6 for an update. when I called I spoke with Brian and he informed me that Todd was off and there were no notes in the system. I cant imagine a whole shop relying on one man and when that one man is off the customer can not get an update. I was transferred to Tim in dispatch and Tim informed me that it needed to go to the body shop. Two more business days go by and I hear nothing. I reach out on Friday 8/9 for an update and Todd informs me that they are waiting on an estimate from the body shop. Meanwhile Im on day 5 of a rental car. Two more business days go by and nothing. I hear from Todd on Wed. 8/14 with an estimate on the work, its approved and I would expect it to be ready the next day. NOPE! My vehicle would not be ready until 8/21. SEVENTEEN Spitzers business days, is how long you had my van. When I Inquired as to why this very simple request took so long I was finally given the truth that your service center LOST my key fob and had to reprogram a new one. I had over $1,000 in car rental fees because of your service centers mistake. I will never bring any vehicle to this dealership, I will never buy from this dealership. I would drive 2 hours out of my way to go to another location. Transparency and customer communication go a long way Rob. You have some training opportunities within your organization.
I urge you to do your homework and stay away from working with this place. I leased a truck from them and used their financing to do so. At no fault of my own another driver hit my truck and it was deemed a total loss. I had a payoff amount of $29,000 and insurance was paying out $33,000 for the vehicle. I was glad because I made a $3,200 down payment and since the difference between what was owed on the truck and what insurance was paying was essentially my down payment, I would be getting that money back so I could use it towards another down payment on a new lease. It turns out that as soon as the department saw what the insurance was paying out for the vehicle they changed the number owed on the vehicle from $29,000 to the exact amount insurance was willing to pay so that I wasnt able to see a dime. Now Im out of a truck and have no money to use towards another down payment. This place actually MADE money by taking my down payment, my monthly payments AND getting a full amount from the insurance. I spent lots of time on the phone and was surprised to hear they dont view this as dishonest. In the end, Spitzer hasnt returned any of my emails or calls to help with getting another vehicle. They made their money and now they are ghosting. Its white-collar crime at its finest. Again, I urge you to turn your back from this place and find another location or dealer that can do right by you. If any part of this is confusing please reach out to me and Ill explain to you how dishonest this was. DO NOT TRUST THEM!
Todd Pastva earns 5 stars. I needed a recall fix with oil change and tire rotation. He was accurate on the time he quoted and was very nice. *update-Shortly after this I did bring my car in for an oil leak, nothing to do with the oil change. They repaired and it still leaked. They told me it was “residual” from the fix, and I was hesitant but listened to their recommendations to “drive the oil off”. I got stuck almost an hour away due to the leak getting worse. It was brought back by tow, and a week later it was ready for pick up. The original oil leak fix took 2 days. When I went to pick it up there was a loose bracket and a bolt not even tightened. I found this out by crawling under my car before driving off the lot. They pulled it in and had another tech look at it, but it wouldn’t have been found unless I pointed it out. I have 0 faith in their repairs now and will drive out of my way for a repair next time.
Just bought a 2020 Jeep Wrangler ( which was an awesome buying experience) from Spitzer ! I have had it for 3 weeks and I got a screw in my tire 😑 .... They squeezed me in and took care of the repair so fast and cheap! Great service continues even after you purchase!
Ed and his team are amazing! North Olmsted Jeep looked at my car twice and said they didn’t hear anything and one of the visits my car sat there and no one looked at it for 2 days. Ed and his team in Brook Park took my concern seriously and took the time to actually fix my car!!!! Thank you! You guys are the BEST!
There is a recall on my vehicle which is a jeep 2016 they refused to repair my vehicle my husband is a disabled veteran. We got the jeep in 2017. We purchased the jeep from enterprise car sales which was a big mistake!! So we took it back to them they said it cost 2,600 dollars to fix but it came from them /manufacturer. We have been paying on this vehicle. And it doesnt run just sitting. No one can fix it because only the manufacturer knows whats wrong set up of course sell it no warranty after 24,000 miles. No warranty bring it back modules wiring to the fuse box goes out right now 2,600 dollars. No transportation my husband is a disabled veteran thats been diagnosed with Luekmia! Wow no transportation to and from the VA! Wow thanks a lot ! Renting a rental car thats taking all our money while we just sit and look a pretty vehicle that doesnt run. So sad!!!😞😞😞
This review is long overdue. I just made my first car payment on my 2016 Jeep Renegade. This Jeep is fabulous! I absolutely love it! I wouldnt even have it if it werent for the patience of our salesperson Paul L. He is very mellow, not aggressive like some salespeople. He took his time and let my husband and I decide what we wanted to do! I would totally recommend him if youre looking for a new vehicle. Our finance guy John Beaver was the bomb! Our credit was more than not so great. John took literally hours to find us the best percentage rate and when I say dedication... we were there until after closing!I couldnt be more happy with this experience and with my new Jeep! Thanks Spitzer Chrysler Dodge Ram Jeep of Cleveland!Youre the best!
We purchased our Jeep in April, and Tony was amazing. I was 8 months pregnant, indecisive, and generally overwhelmed. He spent 4 hours with us, answered all of my questions, walked us through everything...I cannot praise him enough.Fast forward to January - had some issues with my Jeep this morning. My husband called Brian, the Service Manager. They addressed my concerns right away and are even sending someone out to pick up my Jeep from my office. We will be customers for life.
Wow, after reading some of the other reviews I must’ve lucked out. Todd in the service department was awesome! I was originally told the recall services would take 3 hrs. When I arrived, Todd said it would be closer to 1-3/4 hrs....it was done in an hour. If more service oriented places would under promise and over deliver like these folks did, the consumers would would be much happier and tolerant when things don’t go as planned. I will gladly drive to Parma even though there is a Chrysler/Dodge dealership in my city.....North Olmsted Dodge/Chrysler seriously needs to consider sending their entire service staff to Spitzer to take notes on how things are done professionally and efficiently.
The sales staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter found an SUV she liked and test drove it. They were very knowledgeable about the product. We negotiated a price with the manager however when we got to the finance dept. other fees were mysteriously added that were NOT disclosed. Also, she wanted a 4 yr loan and it was converted to a 4 1/2 yr loan without notifying us! I do not appreciate these fishy business practices.
We decided to lease a vehicle instead of buy one. This was our first experience with Spitzer and with leasing. We could not have asked for a nicer, friendlier salesman than Bob Ott. He goes way out of his way to be helpful and informative. The deal was a great deal!!This may seem like a small thing, but the free car washes are such a nice touch. If youre looking for a great deal, friendly service, and friendlier people, check out Spitzer Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep.
I have leased 4 vehicles with Spitzer Dodge and the last car I leased was financed through Ally financial. So I purchased another another vehicle and turned my leased vehicle in and Ally charged a disposition fee to resell the car that the finance dept at Spitzer should have included in the payoff with the purchase of my new car.Spitzer also took there time to pay off Ally financial and as far as Ally was concerned the car was still my responsibility which inquired late fees and negative credit reporting because it was not done in 30 days.Buyer beware of the finance dept at Spitzer Dodge Parma Ohio.
First time visiting Spitzer. I chose Spitzer because I was unhappy with Ganley automotive and needed a certified dealer to work on my vehicle. I made an appointment with them almost 2 weeks in advance and did a night drop due to my early working hours the next day. My appointment was scheduled for 8:45 am, however when I called to check up on things at 1:30 PM I was told that my vehicle hadnt even been pulled into the garage. I was told this was due to overbooking of appointments.I would like to point out that the man I was in contact with in the service department was nothing but kind and apologetic about the situation and when I picked my car up to take it elsewhere, I truly believed he meant it when he said he felt bad. Please keep in mind this was my first ever experience at this dealership and first impressions mean alot. That is why I personally will not be returning. Im not going to say dont go there but I just feel like this experience should be shared.

2022-01-14If youre looking for a vehicle, Josh Phelps is the guy to see! Genuine guy who does his best to get you exactly what you want. This dealership has amazing customer service and really cares about people. Every bit of my experience was phenomenal. When I need a vehicle again (in like 10 years) or hear any of my family & friends need a vehicle, Im sending them to Josh.

2022-04-07I recently went for service on my breaks and a tire rotation. The representative that assisted me was Todd. He was very pleasant and attentive. I stayed in the waiting room while they looked at my car. Todd was very straightforward and told me he didnt think that the brake change was necessary just yet (which saved be hundreds of dollars), and filled me in on any services I would need and how far away I was from needing them. I will absolutely be going back for future car service needs.

2022-05-04I tried for several days to get a salesperson to talk to me on the phone about a used vehicle. This was important because there were no photos on line, and I needed a better description before driving 5 hours to look at. However, no on ever called me, despite fact I told them I was going to pay cash! Aside from one brief conversation with a person in the used sales office (who took my number, promising the knowledgeable salesperson would call me right back), all I ever got was computer generated texts, chats and emails. Very puzzling, poor service.

2022-03-01Randy was awesome! Got us an even better deal than we were hoping for! Honest, fair, didn’t give us the run around. We love our new Jeep and have already recommended Randy and the crew at Spitzer to our family and friends!

2022-06-06Zachary Phelps was attentive, efficient and very kind. He took his time (and even went over-time!) to show me everything that I asked for in terms of car models, insurances and prices. He is very hard-working, has an excellent work ethic, dedication and people skills. Will recommend to my future colleagues

2022-06-28Had a good and fun time during the sales process but within 6 months am at almost $3000 worth of repairs on the vehicle we bought. I should have known when the car wasnt detailed that they werent looking remarkably close at the used vehicle. I was just excited to find something in stock but definitely regret every decision... repair and finance have just pushed us off to the extended warranty company wherein which nothing seems to be covered outside of total engine ko.
