To start i need to tell the negative experience I had at another store right before I went to spencers. The post script is the good review for spencers.The events take place on May 15, 2019I went with my girlfriend and our baby to hot topic to get some new lip rings. At first everything was great. We were greeted with a smile and asked if we needed help. I replied to the associate yes, Im here for lip rings but i prefer spikes rather than the round ball Instead of getting a professional response back I was given a long awkward pause accompanied by the one eyebrow raised smerk look. I assumed maybe she didnt understand what i was saying. Its all good, this happens. So I point to my lebre which is a post with a spike and reply spikes like this to which she responds with no I understood.. Spikes just arent TRENDY anymore AND WALKED AWAY FROM ME. So, dumbfounded im standing in the aisle trying to realize what it was that just happened and, if I in fact just took part in that exchange. I then hear the associate now at the counter less than 6 ft from me tell her coworker that guy just asked for rings with spikes, and I told them they arent trendy hahahaha Needless to say, I chose to spend my money elsewhere and WILL NOT be returning to hot topic ANYTIME in the near future. Ive never felt so disrespected while trying to give someone my hard earned money ever before in my life...P.S. I went to spencers in the very same mall and told them of my poor experience with hot topic. To make up for the way we were disrespected the spencers employee gave us a 10 percent discount off our total purchase (which was almost $60 in jewelry) and were extremely helpful in helping us find the things we were looking for.

Only issue is a lot of the stuff there are no prices on. Especially the industrial bars

The spencers in Northgate is the best! The staff is super friendly and the store is always clean! I frequently shop there because of the great service. :)
