Came to exchange equipment and I guess the rep didn’t hear what I was saying. He proceeded to yell and berated me in front of everyone in the store because I didn’t first identify myself as a Spectrum customer. I got my new equipment and some tears for a nice souvenir. Thanks Spectrum, stellar service as always.
The WORST customer service I have ever received in my life. I set up new service with spectrum and originally had my order set up to ship to my home. After calling them back I requested to pick the equipment up in store because it would be easier for me. I called spectrum and they said no problem I could pick it up even if it ships, I could return the equipment that was shipped to my home after I received it. I walked into this store and Melvin was leaned up against the counter watching an NBA game on their tv. He asked if he could help and before I finished explaining what I needed he rudely cut me off and said “nope can’t do that if your equipment has already shipped” I explained to him that I already spoke with spectrum over the phone and they told me I could. He refused to help me so I called customer support in the store and the woman on the phone was extremely nice and told me she had never heard that a store could not let you pick up equipment even if it already shipped. I asked several times if Melvin or the other 2 boys in the store wanted to speak to her so she could tell them they had to give me my equipment. All 3 refused to speak to her and finally the 1 nice gentleman scanned my equipment and let me have what I paid for. Then after I asked for the managers name and contact info they refused to give me the info and Melvin started telling me that the supervisor I was talking to on the phone was wrong. He embarrassed me in front of the entire store. I will never return to this store. Normally I am easy going and don’t mind bad customer service but Melvin was extremely rude and does not deserve to work in customer service any longer. Even the woman on the phone said “some people just aren’t meant to work in customer service” this is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience with this store. I recommend NEVER visiting this store. I wish there was someone I could speak to about this but every person I contact can’t give me info for corporate. VERY DISSATISFIED!!!
My service was absolutely terrible! They barely deserve 1 star. Over half the customers waiting to be serviced left due to the long wait time.There were three people working including the assistant manager Manual who appeared to be “supervising” aka watching the two other employees handle a room full of customers.It was apathy, unaccountability , and poor customer service at its worst.When I approached him to inquire about the wait, and to tell him I was only returning equipment he told me I should go to ups instead. He very much had attitude that my business didn’t matter and he would prefer me to go to a different company UPS so he would have less work to do.
Stood in line, in the store, for about 15 minutes before being waited on. The problem was that all of a sudden someone had an epiphany that the lobby was getting full and then 3 employees came out from a door and started helping others. Inexcusable lack of customer service and attention to detail. I was returning my equipment because I recently completely disconnected my service. Another example of why I cut ties with Spectrum and Im so happy I did.
I came in before closing to close out my account, and another account came up under my phone number. I tried to investigate and she told me “I can’t give you any more info.” Gave me another number to call instead of addressing there. She was very dismissive. So, someone has committed fraud and they told me to call a national number.
I am appalled and ashame of how my mother was treated at this location. It has already been an emotional and exhausting time for her watching my grandmother deteriorate with dementia, and the battle to get wifi at her home has been a fight the entire way, they have sent multiple techs to her home all saying sorry not my job you need someone else to fix this so when she went directly to the source to explain her frustration she was rudely told they needed my grandma to be there (a 85 year old dementia patient out in the middle of a pandemic just to set up internet service) and then continued to be treated rude and disrespectful. I truly hope that sales associate never ever has to watch a love one go through what she has witnessed, but if so I hope he is shown way more compassion than he has given.
The man was nice...even when i started getting short with him(long story) he still remained professional and courteous. I do hair so i know working with the public can be challenging. The store was clean and the attendant took us right away no wait at all. It was a really positive experience. Thank u spectrum.
Just stopped in to pick up equipment that I was told on the phone I could pick up and then in a store told that the equipment is only shipped, not held in stores. In this specific store I was rudely told that they are out but will get some tomorrow. My questions were barely answered and the woman that hardly answered them was so extremely short and rude, it is very tempting to not even return.
Not easy to find. Located within a plaza off Highland Avenue. Busy, busy place. Employees are thorough and make sure the customer is satisfied. Plan on waiting for awhile. Its like going to the BMV. Take a number and have a seat. They do have docking stations which is helpful.
This was terrible, I get the current state of affairs with kids and people working from home, but I was straight up lied to. Went to get hardware to work from home, fresh out. I called customer service, and asked the rep to call another store front, and I was assured they, have plenty of equipment, and I asked them to hold the router and wifi equipment, nope. The store fronts cannot even take incoming calls. Total BS. Just tell me you dont have the equipment, but do not lie to me.
Had a very good experience with Armondo from Spectrums Customer Support Center. I was able to share with him what I was looking for and he tailored a plan that met my needs. He was extremely transparent and made an effort to connect with me deeper than just the transaction. He was knowledgeable and didnt feed me any BS. I was able to get exactly what I wanted for slightly under the expected price. He gave me the option to pick up my equipment from one of their locations because appointments were few and far between during the holidays, which was understandable. Overall, great experience. The downfall came when I had to activate my service. It was a nightmare trying to get the same answer from different people. I eventually go a guy named Kyle on the phone who gave me accurate information. It might take you multiple calls and/or tries to get the right information, but youll get it eventually.
This was my first time at this location I witnessed two of the staff members arguing as we stood at the kiosk waiting to be served no one even acknowledged is the kiosk was down and we were waiting to be seeing it took them 20 minutes into their argument to see that they had two customers waiting its really sad how customer service is not a priority anymore to these big-time companies because the bill is so high we Fork out a lot of cash to these companies and we deserve better customer service it should be a priority
If there was an option for a zero, this is what I would give. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received here. There were three employees and two of them would take turns going in the back about every two customers. I had been waiting for 35 minutes. My name was at the top of the board, so I was waiting for someone to call my name. An employee came out from the back and called the name after mine and my name dropped off the list. I stated politely, My name was on top and no one called me up.She said, I just got back and this is the name I am calling. Everyone around me was appalled at how rude she was to me! One guy said, This happens often, youll just have to go up there and stand and jump in front of someone else. This is absolutely no way to run a business.
If Spectrum wants to wear multiple hats and be a cell phone company as well as a provider of internet and cable, then they need to have more than one employee assisting customers. I have no problem with the service provided. My problem is waiting 30 minutes to return a router while their lone employee is assisting with cell phone sales and service.
Didnt have to wait too long given that the store was sorta full. i was disappointed that i couldnt get my phone that day and that i could not arrange to pick it up at another location that fedex serves. it was some kinda company thing. the clerk was nice but it was a bit confusing as to what i was going to be charged that day. just be sure you get things clearly given to you or you may be getting a charge you dont expect coming thru sooner than you think. the service with the phone is great . and the phone is nice and i wouldnt have been able to get one otherwise. i like that i can pay for it over time. i wish the store was located in a more central....like downtown...location for folks who do not have a car. it was a horror walking from the bus stop to get there and back . but the overall store experience was above average given how most places handle things today .
This company is the ABSOLUTE WORST, if I could rate a zero I would. If you enjoy being stolen from then they are for you. Weve had nothing but issues, always an absolute headache. Cincinnati is a great city get out Spectrum you are terrible and the people of this city deserve better. Choose Cincinnati Bell if you can or pay to get them installed you wont regret IT!
Figured that while I am being forced to sit here in a painfully slowly moving line, I’d use this time to give a one star review. This location is setup intentionally to sell you products. Slow moving line surrounded by phones and equipment. If I want to go to the Apple store, I’ll go to the Apple store. Instead I just want to return my cable modem for service I’ve already cancelled. There should be a dedicated line for returning equipment. I have never hated a company as much as I hate Spectrum.
I expected a BMV type scenario after reading these reviews. My experience wasnt bad. When I walked in, I saw people scattered everywhere. Some seated, some standing. Luckily I asked the first person (a patron) that I saw if I needed to take a number. The nice lady told me I needed to register on a terminal then watch the screen to see where I was in the queue. I witnessed several people wait around for 20 min. then ask if this is the line. TWC/Spectrum should put up a sign that informs people to sign in. MAJOR FAIL.There is a fair amount of seating and my wait was around 30 min. on a Friday afternoon. The reps waste a lot of time. They come from around a long counter to announce the name of the next in line. Then they walk all the way back around back to their terminal. One time a lady stated I am next you dont have to come around. The rep stated that it is part of his job to come around to call the next person. I believe I speak for everyone in that they should stay behind the counter. There is also a lot of chatting with customers. This is annoying when you are waiting in line.The reps are all friendly though and do a good job solving issues and answering questions. I went in there with a chip on my shoulder and walked out content. I think the negative reviews should be taken with a grain of salt.
Buyer beware. Spectrum sells you 400mbps but only provides between 30-50. You have to call constantly and have people come out to fix it. The fix is temporary. There is not price transparency. Price changes every month, with no explanation. Constantly have to call about price increases. They are very difficult to do business with. It’s not worth the hassle.
I actually had a great experience today at TWC location on Highland Ave. When I got there, I signed in. I was able to see that I was the 7th person in line. I assumed that would take forever so I got comfortable on one of the chairs they provided. After about 10 minutes, I was called up to Nicoles desk and she was extremely friendly. We discussed the issue I was having. She was extremely helpful and solved my issue quickly and even saved me a few dollars per month. I was out of there within 25 minutes and everyone was very helpful. Thank you Nicole!
This is for Spectrum customer service. My cable has been out since Thursday. I have bee told at least 6 estimared repair times by their automatic response unit and actually got a call back by the automated unit telling me mt service was repaired. WRONG! I am still out and wanting to know when to expect it back. There is not a person that you can talk to, much less ask. They should be required to have a resl estimate as with all other services. Instead, a pleasant voice keeps telling me they are working hard to repair it and the technicians cant help me, so call back later. This is what poor service looks like. Congratulations Spectrum for the worst client service i have recieved in many years. Will probably get an automated response to this too. Sad.
Hello,I want the public to know just how bad Spectrum cable and internet is. I have never had such bad customer service in my entire life. They only care if you are setting up new service. We tried to bring this up the chain at Spectrum and they had no desire to fix the problem. We gave them at least 4 opportunities to fix the problems we were having and they had no interest to fix the situation. Luckily for the public you can get all of these channels on streaming services and this is going to hurt the cable companies greatly. I am taking my personal and business products elsewhere. I would never get their mobile service because they dont stand behind their products. I am shocked by how little they care about the general public.
DONT GO HERE! Unless you want to wait around in line forever. There was 4 people sitting at the customer service desks and only 1 was actually helping people. The rest were just sitting around talking and acting like we were all invisible. This place is trash as well as the people working there.The sad thing is, this isnt the first time Ive went there and the employees were lazy and rude. But, it will be my last.
Havent been to the store in ages. The store has been updated and clean. The staff was friendly enough and it was busy. I needed to replace a small box, thought it would be easy (not) didnt have the right codes. Called customer service, they hooked me up, lovin my bedroom tv again. The service was great.
This place just gets worse and worse... 3 people leaning on the counter wow six of us stood at a ATM machine to pay our cable bills!Please they should just fire these people and put in scanner so I can drop equipment off in a hole if all theyre going to do is watch me!Spectrum already sucks for customer service why do they allow their people just to lean on the counter and remove all doubt that theyre completely disinterested in their customers
Excellent Place!! Very polite and respectful workers and excellent service!!! I am very happy and with spectrum and spectrum cable!! And also whenever you have any problems or issue it is instantly and easily resolved by the employees!! Or spectrums customer service!!, I highly recommend going with spectrum, youll be very happy and satisfied with cable, internet and a landline which comes with a bundle pack!! And they also sell mobile phones!! Go with spectrum and youll be happy you did with no regrets!!
Brutal visit. I felt for the two associates working there. The electronic sign in screen was not working. I got there an hour before close and got out 5 minutes before close. Not sure if they had a staff reduction or it was vacations but the two associates were working their tails off. Add that the equipment I switched out still didnt work and it was a waste of 2 hours.
I have been a customer with Time Warner for over 30 yrs. , never missed a payment, always paid on time, and every year their rates get higher . I have to negotiate to get the price down. This company has no loyalty for their reliable customers. Now I am down mainly with basic channels and it is still $130. 00 a month. Its time to make a change!
It is currently 9:15 on April 16, 2016 and the location has not opened. Another customer is calling Customer Service and there are about 20 people standing out here.Update: the customer standing in line that called corporate finally got the person on the other end to just call the store for an update. A customer service representative finally came to the door and said We were waving at you. The door has been unlocked. That means the door had been unlocked since at least 8:45am as that is when I got there, and every employee in that store watched a line of people get longer and longer until someone had to call and tell them there were upset people outside.
This review is not for this store location, but rather for spectrum/time Warner as a whole. I previously had their service and cancelled it last June.I had a bad experience with Cincinnati bell and considered switching. Twc told me I had a past due balance and that if I paid the balance I could restart my old service using my old modem which I still had in my possession. So, I paid the past due balance and was then told Id need to pay my first months service up front. I was willing to do this. So I spent an hour with them selecting the best package for me only to be told at the end to use my old modem Id have to wait 7 business days for it to be cleared off my old account and addes to my new one, or I could pay the but out fee for the equipment to use it immediately or I could be issued a new modem as a new customer and pay $60 for installation and wifi activation. Even though I already had everything installed already.Bottom line, this company is nothing but greedy and theyre not honest. They tell you what you want to hear then they hit you with the fine print.When I did have their service, my internet speed was not consistent and seemed to be throttled during peak times.My issue that I had with Cincinnati bell was that my modem crashed and would not work. And they werent able to get out to fix it in a timely manner. Other than that Ive had zero issues with Cincinnati bell. The speeds are consistent and this issue was the only one Ive had with them.Ill take that over spectrum any day. Do your self a favor, get Cincinnati bell, not Spectrum.
If I could give zero stars I would. Time Warner Cable is the worst company ever. We have never missed a payment and knew we were canceling service. Here we are two months later and they still cant cancel out service. We get to go into the store (in person in the year 2016) and waste time because their customer service is so horrible. If we dont go in they are going to ruin our credit. NEVER EVER GET TIME WARNER!
My cable has been down for days. I was informed on a phone call with the three days ago that I had an appoint set for Saturday between 8 and 9 AM,The time warner rep said that they would attempt to get me an appointment either Thursday or Friday and that they would call me early on Thursday. They never called. Then I receive a text that my appointment is Saturday between 11 and 12, when I have other plans.Time Warner apologizes and said that the employee in Asia mad a mistake.Such poor customer service and they do not care.It is a shame we let companies become so big that they treat us so poorly and they demand a 23% increase when the year agreement has expired.This type of service should be illegal.
I hate Spectrum but I liked Time Warner Cable. That sentence along should be enough of a review but I will add just a little more. I have ran into a couple of bad apples when trying to conduct business with Spectrum both over the phone and in person. I did place a review over a year ago stating how awesome a representative was at my local cable location, she is not there anymore. After my bill continued to go up, I diconnected my service. It was so hot and stuffing in the Ridge location but the rep was very nice. No more Spectrum for us......
You have to keep your eye on the Time Warner Cable. Me and everyone I know thats ever dealt with Time Warner Cable has had problems. Keep an eye on your bill make sure youre not overcharge. And whenever an ANY issue arises call and demand that they are just your bill.
For all the bad publicity that spectrum and Time Warner get for his Corporation, I must say I could not be more pleased with this customer service location, they got me handled efficiently and effectively accurately in the door and out under the home with my internet Hardware I could not be more pleased or satisfied with your customer service.
It is pretty sad when I cant get a competent person to even install service. Tech arrived 3 hours late and after awhile, said job couldnt be done that day. I had to call the next day because I doubt they would have called me. They said they could come back out the following week. Are you kidding me? I said I dont think I should be charged an installation fee. This eventually led me to speaking with a lead (not sure if he had any authority) . He basically said too bad, we arent waiving a fee. Do not get service from Spectrum. Run. Run far away to any other company.
*This isnt about this location or the employees at this location at all. This is about the company in general*The worst internet I have ever had and absolutely awful service over the phone. My internet literally goes out twice a day where i have to reset my modem. On top of that they have shut off my internet completely TWICE and both times it was because they had the wrong address. Not once but twice. Im just thankful Im moving to an area where Spectrum isnt my only option. If I could give no stars I would.
They was supposed to take charge off but didnt. I had to call several times. They are charging me for cable and box I dont have. Customer service sucks I was trying to get my problem fixed they was trying to sale me things. Im confused and irritated. I will never ever use them again.
After a long wait, I finally received sub-par service. The associate at the counter tried everything to close down my account and re-open a new account which would cause me extra fees. The associate refused that there was no other way to set up my account till I physically called HQ myself to verify since I was sent there by them in the first place. The associate finally conceded and set up my account as requested. No one should go through this much hassle.
Getting my internet set up at my new apartment has been a complete nightmare. It took 3 calls to even get an appointment for them to come set it up. Wach phone call was 30+ minutes long. Horrible, Horrible service. My Boyfriend went into work late so he could be there when it is set up and NO ONE SHOWED. They told us an appointment was never made.
This is the worst company do not go here employees are rude your better off at Cincinnati bell. Went to return my equipment. My services were already canceled week ago and the man tells me I have to sit and wait for 20 minutes just to give him my equipment. I asked him if I can just leave this here and he said wait in line and sign in . Horrible service I plead you not to go in there don’t waste your time
Spectrum it self give better deals to new customers than loyal people that been there for years. I pay 116.18 just for cable two TVs. My sister has internet phone and TV for 130 and she has 3 TVs does that make sense at all no . They advertise the internet and TV for 99.00 per month again new customers only but doesnt say that on TV commercial
Very bad custom service. they dont know anything, and they read from manual and ask stupid questions ( have you tried to turn it off and on back, etc). my internet keep on and off and I dont get the speed i pay for. but i am tired of calling their customer service. cant wait till Cincinnati bell support my area for fiber-optic
If I could provide less than 1 star rating for this company, I would. My 92 year old grandmother moved out of an elderly care facility that used Time Warner / Spectrum as the primary ISP and cable company.I promptly returned the cable equipment to the Highland avenue location upon her moving out. Spectrum continued to bill her, and in spite of notifying them repeatedly that I returned this equipment, they recently sent her bill to collections!!Seriously?! This is the epitome of worst-in-class customer service.I rarely write reviews like this, but Time Warner / Spectrum clearly inventoried this equipment wrong, or lost track of it after I returned it, then proceeded to gouge a 92 year old woman to the tune of $182 for their mistake.This was the last the straw!
Just got off the phone with TWC. My internet bill was $113 for a bundle because if I got the 50 Mbps by itself it would have been $130. I just told them I was canceling to go to Cincy Bell and they offered me a single internet package for $70. Ridiculous that Ive been getting ripped off for so long. Now youll get nothing from me ever again.
Terrible, terrible customer service, pixelated TV signal, and variable speed internet connection. This has been my experience for years with TWC. We finally ditched the cable and got Cincinnati Bell Fioptics high speed internet (for almost half the cost of TWC). No issues so far.
The speed of internet is alright, a least better than cincyB around my area. However! Go ahead and change the location showing up on the google map! Some stores located at NKY they are not existed! It was totally wasting time to find a wrong store. I was really surprised that they close the location at Newport, oh, you still can find the Newport TWC on the map today. And dont call them, the phone still working but they dont know where the store is, too. And it is annoyed to drive all the way to return or cancel the service. I am going to cancel my old apts one, good luck to myself.
Incompetence doesn’t describe this storefront or Spectrum as a whole. Don’t let customer service send you here. They won’t have the equipment you supposedly reserve and the guys who work here are rude and looking for any excuse they can to refuse to help you. I wish there was competition for internet service in Cincinnati. I’d have never willingly chosen this company.
They were slow as can be they didnt care how many people came in they wanted to talk more they wanted to work one lady just sat there and Gavin and everything is real quiet until she start talking then everybody talkin just just like we were outside yelling at each other

2018-04-25Cutting the cord and returning equipment was a great feeling. Tech bar seems unnecessary in this place. Thumbs up to Melvin though - super nice guy who helped me. Tip: if returning equipment dont bother with any cables or cords - they dont want them.

2022-03-12Very poor service, one in line and 4 employees behind the registrar, very slow and when I got to the counter the cashier stepped away while the other three trying to hash out who would service me, it was like dealing with the three stooges, no consideration for my time and I was far from being interested in the kid play and these were not kids, smh.

I have been on the phone for an hour and a half while they figure out how they messed my plan up. I miss TWC. This company is the worst things to happen to the Internet, bar repealing net neutrality. I hope they go under.

2021-10-13Rude man behind counter, doing nothing but yelling at people waiting in line and talking on his personal phone. Young black woman doing ALL THE WORK- With a great attitude and smile on her face. I waited in line 45 minutes to pay my bill! Spectrum is a terrible company. They overcharge and deny it! Dont give the $50 credit for broadband as required by law. Go to Cincinnati Bell or a at& t- thats my plan.

2021-07-26I went to pick up equipment for a land line and TV, so I thought. The gentleman behind the counter gave me a modem and a router. I told him I already have those. I need the Apple TV and what ever I need for the land line. He said, we dont have that here, that should come in the mail, then he walked away. I called him back. I told him, I asked the CSSR whom I spoke with on the phone if I could just go into a store and pick up the equipment, she said yes. So here I am. He asked me, What do you want? I asked him what does my account say I need? He said, I dont know. I asked, What do I need for a land line and TV? He said, It will come in the mail, and walked away.I felt he was rude and not very customer friendly at all.Obviously, I misunderstood the CSSR on the phone. But this worker offered no explanation to settle my concerns. He didnt seem to care.
