My main issue is the price and having to go out to there spectrum store in Belden village every time I’ve went there it’s been overly crowded customer service people weren’t to helpful and why when I’m at the actual business would it take till after midnight for my account to show my payment has been made. There’s no room to sit when your waiting a hour and a half because there so crowded try to pay online through the app and it acts like it doesn’t recognize my card making it so I have to waste half a day sitting in the store. Spoke with representative on the phone and she was awesome but not at the store. They see there busy and workers will just walk away and go into the back for twenty minutes or more than come back out.
I changed my rating for one simple reason, the staff. I went in today (3-27-2022), there three gentlemen there working and taking care of everyone. One customer got very irate and called the gentleman that was trying to help the customer got called the N word as the customer was leaving. The employee was very professional in the matter, if it was me, I would have clocked out, went outside and knocked his backwoods head off his shoulder.I still think your cable and internet fees are ridiculous though (lol) .. $210 a month? Spectrum charges way to much especially with everything else going up in prices.
Worst managed retail store Ive ever experienced....they dont care about customer experience at all. Expect you to wait to pay your bill and puts up a sign on your bill payment that its out of service when it works perfectly fine. Why do I need to wait an hour to pay my bill??? Time Warner was terrible but spectrum might be worse
Waiting a long time. Want to return a cable box and drop cinemax. Since my condos Ohio and Florida cover cable and internet, I wanted to stop in and make sure my account is credited properly. Problem is the phone services take a long time. They need to have a rep there that just handles cable and internet equipment and services.
This company is an absolute joke. Time Warner Cable... Spectrum... whatever their name is. You can change the name of your company 20 times but youll still be the same garbage company. Horrible customer service, employees lack knowledge of product and everytime you attempt to get 1 thing fixed... they manage to break 5 other things in its place. 40 minute wait because theyre slow, payment machine always down and horrible waiting area. Need to organize it better and service the few customers they still have better.
First off if you have to actually go to this particular store, don’t. These people that work here are absolutely rude, disrespectful, loud. Terrible I’ve never in my life dealt with such disrespect from an employee. Then you have employees up front doing absolutely nothing except gossiping and having conversations with each other when clearly the store is busy. The manager that was working is just as bad, poor leadership. Poor attitudes. I promise you’ll not only did I end my services with you, but I’ll never refer anyone nor step foot in this store ever again. Completely unexceptional behavior for a place of business. I wouldn’t rate this place one star if it gave me the option. Terrible business, never again!
Customer service is a 0/10. If a score lower than 1-star existed for a score, it would be reserved for Spectrum Canton.Spotty internet service and even worse experience when you go to the store. Get ready to wait 3+ hours even if you show up as soon as they open. Their employees cannot get anyone out of the door. They clearly do not have enough employees, and simply dropping off equipment shouldnt be this difficult or demand a reservation. Egregious, awful, and terrible business model and service from Spectrum. I will try anyone else next time. This store needs new management.
This store is very slow, went in to look into upgrading phones, and it took 2 hrs to get someone to help us (there were 4 people ahead of us), then they proceed to tell me that they cant look into anything in my mobile account due to my internet bill being due at the end of that week, unless I paid it right then and there (I have since called and spoke to customer service, who has informed me that the mobile and internet are 2 separate entities within the company, and that one bill, in no way, should effect the other (which means that after a 2 hour wait, the employee just didnt feel like working)).I would avoid this place at all cost, and if you need to do anything through spectrum, I recommend using their customer support online, or over the phone.
I recently upgraded my internet and added cable, I needed to drop off the old modem because of the upgrade. The wait was horrible. The staff is absolutely horrible. I was not able to DROP OFF the old modem because I wasnt on my WIFES account even though he looked at my ID. I was DROPPING OFF .The manager was also turning people away and stated if you were dropping off equipment to go to the UPS store and for those making payments to go online or call. She literally said, she was *tapped* out.I also witnessed a gentleman QUIT during his only SECOND shift as the manager embarrassed him in front of a FULL lobby of customers, how did I know it was his second day you ask? Because the manager laughed about it or whoever the said trainer was. The other lady who appeared to hide in the back said something to her about training and she said no im not, than proceeded to talk to the male employee(who was *helping* me,) about spark* points , which is a reward program for employees, in FRONT of me...this location needs a clean sweep and better customer orientated people.
Absolutely Terrible. I was told to come here to pick up my modem and router and had to sign in and wait for over an hour just to pick up equipment that I already paid for! Made miss my plane and cost me a non refundable plane ticket. They should have a separate area for pickups. Absolutely unacceptable. Poor business management. Avoid this store at all costs.
I have had internet, tv, and phone from Spectrum and Time Warner before they sold to spectrum for over 40 years. My service is the worst ever. I lose everything, phone, internet, and cable TV 2-3 times a week. sometimes it is out for 10-15 minutes, other times an hour or two. I pay well over $200 a month and they won’t even give you a credit unless it’s out for 4 hours. And I can’t switch to another service because AT&T and Verizon aren’t available in my neighborhood. Why can’t our legislators do something about these monopolies instead of worrying about legalizing fireworks? These folks need to held accountable
We sat there an hour for them to tell us to call customer service when customer service told is we had to go there in person. And how can you force someone to get internet just to have a mobile phone? And they had 6 people with only 2 on the window an waited 15 mins in between calling people up! To much to complain about on here.
I was at this store and I made an appointment my name was at the top and I received a text message and the staff refused to help me. They could clearly see my name on the screen and still thought I was lying. The worker told me he couldn’t help he was off the clock and practically shouted it. Then when I finally was helped they did not even add the equipment to my account properly and I had to call customer service.
You guys need to stock more of the new phones at this location. I’ve been trying to upgrade my phone to the iPhone 13 Pro for months now. People at other carriers are saying they have no issue getting the new iPhones, but I’ve been coming in every few weeks to see if there is any stock and there never is. The phone was released almost 4 months ago. I asked if I could call the store to see if it’s in stock instead of having to drive there every time and apparently you guys don’t even have phones. The reps response was something like we have 30,000 customers in the area and the phones would be ringing all the time what kind of excuse is this? McDonald’s probably has more customers in its area then spectrum does, since anyone in the city could be their customer, yet they still have phones.
My experience with the company has been terrible from beginning to end. They will constantly try to batter and bully you into signing up for additional services. Once you are signed up, youll continue to get calls, emails, and mail pushing you to sign up for more services.The one bright spot was that when my router failed, they were quick to replace it.Closing my account out was another painful experience. The lady I spoke with kept on pushing me to move my internet to my new house or to sign up for their mobile plan. She ended by canceling my service a day early, and when I called to turn it back on for the few days I needed, the representative said I would have to start a new contract for the one day.I would recommend choosing any other service provider before going with this company. If enough people stop using their services, then they will fall as a company and serve as a reminder reminder that the customer MUST be taken care of.
Recommend making a reservation. When we signed in at the kiosk, it asked if we had a reservation. We did not. There were seemingly plenty of associates working and we were #6 on the list when we signed in. Several other people signed in after we did but one of them must have had a reservation because they jumped to the top of the list. Took half an hour before we were helped.
First let me say make an appointment it will save you the wait. But since I didnt have one my experience was fine. I needed to exchange my dead router and they said the wait would be an hour and the store was packed. They had 6 people working behind the counters. They made an announcement about partnering with UPS store next to Olive Garden to return equipment and about 25% of them left. My wait wasnt an hour and I got back home to finish watching Loki!!!
Today I finally made the switch to spectrum for my cell service! Only $45/month for unlimited data, texts and calls. I Jamie helped me through the whole process! She even helped me call my old carrier to cancel and was patient with me through the long wait time my old carrier had me on. She not only made the experience simple and quick but also just lifted my mood with her positive demeanor. So happy to be fully spectrum now!!
Four months without a properly working internet. Dozens of phone calls, three service visits, replaced everything thing in and to the house, and they still couldnt figure out why we would lose internet every day, several times a day. Took me asking to speak to someone in charge and them getting their boss on the other line to fix the problem. The problem you ask, oh it was the exact thing I was telling them it was for four months and everyone in the company was telling me it could not be possible, signal interference from somewhere in the neighborhood. 1 star only because negative ten isnt an option.
I give Gloria 10 stars but 1 for the center. Waited forever to be called. Gloria serviced more people than the other 2 agents. One agent kept leaving her customer and assisting another at the payment kiosk which should have never happened. She then had him sign in and then took him immediately mind you there were 4 customers ahead of him. So apparently being loud and knowing someone is ok with the staff and management there. Very disappointing.
Incredibly slow staff (admitted by the manager). Waited 45 minutes just to be told itd be another 45 minutes (just to get into the building as we were forced to wait outside). Manager wasnt very pleasant and insulted her employees to public. Sad to see the new name hasnt improved the customer experience.
We ordered internet, and it prompted us to pick up our equipment at the store, so we went to the store. Little did we know, we were supposed to make an appointment. It would have been nice to know when we placed the order. Upon arrival we checked in, then waited for about 45 minutes. Not only was the wait long, there were so many people, which is very uncomfortable during a pandemic.Once it was our turn the employee gave us equipment, but told us that it was the older equipment, which SHOULD work, though we were skeptical. He was out of the equipment we were going to eventually need, but we could try back later in the week.Of course, we hooked it up and it didnt work. We spent a long time on the phone with a nice guy at the support desk, but he basically confirmed that the store rep knew he was giving us the wrong gear.Needless to say, our experience was this store was quite disappointing.
Went in with internet issues. Had already spoke with tech support, swapped my modem, and had a tech out. The store was Spectrum’s last chance for me. Talked with Jamie, and explained the issues. She asked in depth questions about my household connections. She recommended a faster speed, and switched out all of my equipment, cords, etc.... it’s working perfectly now with no issue. You can tell the store is more knowledgeable to our local issues. I give the store 5, Support -1
This review is for their in person customer service. I want in there today as soon as the store opened and the greater told me it might be a weight because they are severely understaffed and she is only a greeter. She was very nice, accommodating. And provided different service options for those that were still waiting. Even though there were several customers (including an angry one) all over the place, she and the few staff that actually showed up did a great job in a stressful situation. So I just wanted to issue some acknowledgement to the staff considering most reviews that are posted tend to be nasty ones.
I have been a spectrum customer for about 24 months. At first I had great service and a great experience. After the first 18 months I noticed a drop off in speed and issues using my wifi in parts of my house that were farther away from the router. I called and got a new router that worked well for about 2 weeks. Please note I went 18 months with no issues and my wifi even worked well out side. Since then I had a service tech come out who told me my modem was hooked up with a store bought cord. I noted that I have not touched anything since it was installed. The tech proceeded to move my modem to my basement and put a new cord on it. Then told me I should buy a $180 Nest Wifi system so it would reach to all areas in my house. I then received a $50 charge on my next bill because he had to set it up with spectrum equipment. I assumed I could call and get the issue rectified but the billing department told me it was valid. When I explained the store bought cord was installed by a Spectrum tech originally and I had no issues for 18 months they told me it was too bad and the charge stands. She was polite but clearly customer service is not a value of Spectrum. I am highly disappointed as there is no other provider in my area that offers the same speeds. I also currently pay for 100mbs and my last 3 speed tests I conducted FROM MY MODEM came in at 82.3, 95.6, and 72.9. The response to that was it happens and we can send someone else out. I argued I did not want that if they feel it was okay to charge me $50 for a service issue they created in the first place and I did not have confidence in them based on the fact they would not remove the erroneous charge. The people I spoke to were polite but the company policies seem to be an issue. I will switch as soon as they do no longer have a monopoly on high speed internet service in my area.
I was on the phone for 55 minutes with Spectrum to add HBO so I could watch the Hard Knocks season starting tonight. Three different people- none of them could handle this simple task, and they told me my modem had been listed as lost......idiots at the store and the service number since last September when I enrolled with them. Numerous issues over the last year.
For internet, basic tv & land line phone -- the price goes UP every month. Called, got a package for one year, and was told the price would not increase till the year was up. The price invoiced was as quoted for one month, the next month it was raised by $20.00. Called, they said it was an overall rate increase and they couldnt do anything about it. The rep said the person I spoke with shouldnt have told me it would be good for a year. This is not the first time I have been lied to by Spectrum reps. They really dont care about their customers. Cell phone deal hasnt been raised yet (2 lines @ $14 each for 1 Gb) but it wouldnt surprise me, since they keep raising all the other service prices. Very unhappy with Spectrum, ready to change the internet, tv, land line to different carrier. Not responsive to customer problems, poor value, very unprofessional.
We recently had our internet installed by a professional technician by the name of Joe Leavers.After several failed scheduled attempts on behalf of the sales department for wrong dates, Joe was patient and understanding through the whole process.Before finishing his work he called me to come check to make sure that it was good enough before he departed which I do respect very much so!Thank you for the USA laptops thank you to Joe my business relationship with Spectrum has been restored due to a previous past bad experience.A+++++
Absolutely horrible experience... Took my mom out there to get new service 45 minute drive. We walk in no hello waited another 20-30 minutes to have anyone come up to us. Then the rep got upset because she wanted to keep her number and the got upset because it was gonna take another 45 minutes to get the phone activated. Then we go to pull the account up for him to tell us shes not authorized on the account. So I get customer service on the line only to have another rep come up to my kids 12 & 13 and ask them to go wait outside... UMMM NO!!! This is not the 1st time Ive had this type of service at this location. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! THEY HAVE LOST A LONG TIME CUSTOMER
Location review: Bob at this location was amazing, wish I had contacted him first before dealing with customer service over the phone. Great interaction very personable. 5/5 for Bob.Customer service phone call review: Unfortunately.... now onto the customer service of Spectrum itself via phone call. They are a bunch of thieves and stole about $300 that Im getting back in my credit card dispute. 1.1 star/ 5 stars on trustpilot. The company tactics are shameful in how they treat a customer of over 12 years. Roberto in cancellation/retention a supervisor was unGodly rude and unprofessional insinuating I was lying and constantly having a degrading tone of voice. You should fire that clown as he has no business working in customer service or talking to people whatsoever. -5 for the phone call I had with that horrid person Roberto today.
I want to explain the 1 star. This location is clean, modern, and the guy who helped me was efficient, intelligent, and helpful. I have had spectrum less than 24 hours. Less than a day. Theyre already over charging me what the agreement was! Theyre charging me for an install that didnt happen. No technician needed. Their guy had to turn on service, thats it. I have no control over that. Customer service decided thats a valid charge.....? I think Ive changed my mind already. Ill see if anyone else can properly assist me.
The first time there the person that waited on me was not helpful gave no instruction which caused a great deal of aggravation and a second trip back was required. The person who waited on me the second time explained in detail what was required and even provided an instruction sheet.
If you plan on coming here, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE BEFORE YOU DO. I stopped by on two separate days, at different times of day, and walked right back out because there were at least five parties ahead of me, all of whom had the miserable looks of people who had been waiting far too long. For my third visit, I made an appointment online the day before, and it helped a little. That being said, it was still about a half hour wait after I came in, with only two people working and about four people waiting behind me, who most likely waited much longer after I left. After about a half hour an employee who I believe was named Jarod entered from the back of the store, maybe just starting his shift, and assisted me. He was helpful, friendly, and very quick, which is what redeemed this review to three stars instead of one.
Seem to be busy with long lines way to often, so dont come here if your in a hurry. Maybe they need a better system in place ? Or more staff to help? Place seems to be always clean when I have visited. Have nice phones and tablets you can explore. Main reason I go to this location is to make a payment using the kiosk which was a great thing they added so you do not have to wait in line, Just make sure you have exact change if paying with cash be cause this machine does not give change. It also accepts credit cards.
I dealt with intermittent outages on a daily basis, several support calls, two on-site service calls that did not solve the problem, and a ridiculously frustrating and failed attempt to replace residential service with business service (I am a business owner). After 18 months, I finally switched to a local company with way better service. Even though it’s costing me a little bit more, leaving Spectrum has been worth it.
Went to upgrade my mobile device. First store said they dont even have phones. Called the 800 number. Was directed to a full service store 35 minutes away. Drove through rush hour traffic. Waited for over an hour. Suggested I go online and pay my device balance down to 50% (expected this). Was asked to pay an additional amount as a solution because the system wasnt showing early upgrade option. (Even though the mobile app clearly showed eligibility). Paid that. Online reflected payment and upgrade eligibility immediately. In store system did not. Called customer service. They offered no help. Was asked to come back in 24 hours to let system catch up. Wait....You are an internet provider and you need 24 hours to reflect a payment that I can see as cleared on your mobile app and website? So long story short....dealt with 4 employees, 2 different stores, 2 1/2 hours of my time, paid over $200, and I left without a new device. The worst part, I was even willing to accept a color I didnt really want because guess what....out of stock. If you are going to continue to offer mobile service, and try to implement that service in a retail environment, you have to be better than this.
0 If there was that options!Sunday go to return our router as Spectrums is awful..I store was to open at 1200 doors did not open till 1205.Kiosk was not up in running. 12 of us just got into a line. Only TWO people working.One guys was told to bring in his old eqioment in and he could just leave it on the counter with his paperwork. Nope wrong answere. Another older guys need to just pay his bill as they where going to turn off is cable if he did not pay.. He did not need to be out and about.In the middle of the second set of transactions one of the customer service reps thinks its wise to start setting up the kiosk. Insted of waiting on people..I gave him the riot act handled him my route and and said you have yo figure it out i am not waiting any longer on your all poor customerservse and not being ready for the day.
I went to spectrum yesterday to see if adding a line to my existing parents account was an option, the agent that helped us (Marquis) was checking to see if it was possible. He proceeded to ask what phone i was wanting to get which i said was the Iphone 11, he said it wasnt in stock but he has the 12 so i agreed. He kept going on with seeing if a line could be added, and had me deactivate find my Iphone on my current phone. After about an hour (and all the employees talking to each other and not the customers they were helping) he told me that a line couldnt be added, and my phone factory reset, which he told me to call apple support to fix it... 5 hours later after we left the store and no help from apple support we found out Marquis wiped my SIM card and all data from it was gone. He did NOTHING to help, he blamed apple and said it was on their end, which now i am out of a phone completely because of him. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.
Myself and my family have had Time Warner... which got bought by Spectrum. Their tech has always been good. But their prices, customer support, and service locations are HORRIBLE! They dont care about you, and they always try to up-sell you.... EVEN WHEN YOU TRY TO LEAVE THEIR SERVICE!!! Not to mention the long lines of everyone trying to quite their service at the store.... 40 minute waits!! We had to go 4 times to try and quite. This company is a disgrace, if they keep treating their customers how they are... theyll be out of business in 10 years guaranteed! ... Enough said. Im voting with my feet, and I suggest you do to!
Store is ok. But spectrum as whole is disappointing, customer service calls 1 star. Poor communication and disorganization from a communications and media company??? We have no choice of providers so were stuck. Like that embarrassing family member you wish you didnt have.....
This place was so poorly ran!!! Waited 2.5 hours in line, to pick up a box. I ask for the managers phone number but they refused to give that info out. Lots of people were waiting and angry I was number 27 in line and at 4:55 PM , the place packed I watched an employee leave for the day. I also watched 2 employees come from the back just to giggle with another employee an turn around to go back without helping anyone. The one employee blamed it on only 2 cash registers, well they didnt take money from me that day they billed me...an the guy behind me did not pay that day either. I also watched a man talk to a customer for 45 minutes an when I said something about it the host said oh he is helping her. But myself an 2 other customers watched as they both pulled out cell phones an viewed pictures on their phones. After the 45 minutes that I watched when the employee was done with the customer instead of helping any of the elderly people who were waiting forever! He took a bathroom break. There was one brown haired boy who worked the whole time an a man said to me if he doesnt make at least 25.00 an hour he would quit. This was the first of the month so many elderly people on fixed incomes standing an waiting hours an no manager to be found????? I would love to have that job a Friday and the first of the month@ 4:30 and the person whom is suppose to lead the staff to help the customers is off work an unreachable. I hope she watches the video for that day, an except for one boy the whole staff is unproductive. And needs replaced ASAP
I went in at 3:45 on a Friday afternoon and was a bit worried based on some other bad reviews. I got a parking spot right in front of the store. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by an employee and she helped sign me in. I was taken to a counter/register promptly after that and got my modem returned in less than 5 minutes. Also, the store is new & very attractive!
My one and only trip to Spectrum in Belden Village went like this, the wait was not very long. I did not know that you had to sign in however my weight was not long. My only complaint about walking into the building would be I have never been there before I did not know about signing in and when I approached the desk there were two workers there neither one of them greeted me hello or acknowledge that my presence was there. Another customer sitting on a bench offered me the information that I had to sign in. When I did get to the front of the line after four people were in front of me, it had only been around 12 minutes. I would say that that is pretty decent timing. The lady that helped me was fast and mildly courteous, I did however witness a separate customer walk-in cut the line and verbally abused the two workers there. Not sure how many times that happened today however that does not excuse the fact that they did not acknowledge my presence or have me sign in. I was returning my boyfriends equipment from his previous apartment, and I will say that the lady made it as easy as she could and our transaction was pretty fast considering he had a lot of equipment that needed to be returned. I gave four stars because there was not an option for three and a half and it definitely was not a five-star experience. Overall it was not bad it was kind of fast and relatively painless. If you have read this far I will thank you for reading my review.
Just two employees were there to help customers and the waiting was long,nearly an hour. When I left the store there were 10 customers on the check board waiting for service. I find it disturbing the the store manager was in the back warehouse when this was going on. She should have come from here office to help the staff get caught up with the awaiting customers. When my turn came the sales person could not answer my questions and told me to go home and call customer service. The reason for a store front is help customers and they failed the tasks. Spectrum cell service was an interest to me, but not much help here regarding the new service.

I have nothing to do with her account, just want to make sure you get all your equipment back. Can I set this bag here?Spectrum rep (Terry): No, cant leave it there, you need to wait in line sir. You are rudely cutting in front of all those people outside.Me: I dont need to talk to anyone at Spectrum, I just wanted to leave the bag so the equipment doesnt get thrown away.Spectrum rep: You cant leave it, wait in line... I dont care if you throw it away.Me: Ok. Ill throw it all away. Have a nice day. 🤣 🤦♂️
Trying to return equipment for a deceased relative. This is the worst disorganized staff so have ever observed. The supervisor will not help any of the dozen people waiting unless they are paying a bill. The employees have no sense of urgency, appear poorly trained on handling their normal duties. You will wait in the store for hours listening to the worthless non working manager blame the long wait on normal business or one employee that called off sick. If I owned this store I would be in a firing mood unless you just like your customers getting upset waiting.
I have nothing bad to say about the employees at all. But it does amaze me that they were probably 10 to 12 people there at the same time all returning equipment in discontinuing services. I did not hear anyone question the customer on what went wrong or how spectrum can make it better. I was doing the same thing and they just took my equipment had me sign and said thank you. I wonder sometimes how does spectrum keep customers because I canceled TV because I get a better deal streaming through different services and I dont have issues with it like I do with spectrum.
I literally despise spectrum with every ounce of my being. If there was another option for internet service in my area, I would switch to them without a second thought. Constant outages, slow speeds, they sent me a “new router” and tried to act like it’s a good thing because I’m going to get faster speeds (which I did not). The “new” router was all scratched and dinged up and the power cord for the router was the wrong cord. Please for the love of god if you have another option for internet service, choose it and avoid spectrum at all costs.
Kudos to the Spectrum store in Canton for the sign-in system which keeps everything civil and in order. I was pleased with the rapidity and quality of their service. The staff remained friendly and informative during an extremely busy spell in their workday. My visit, prompted by a tech support call, resulted in better service and a lower monthly payment! You really cant beat that.
After reading the other reviews I have to say that was not my experience. I had to exchange equipment and the woman behind the counter was so pleasant and so kind and made my experience what it was and it was wonderful. I didnt catch her name or I would shout her out!
My bill keeps going up. I pay for 10 regular channels and internet. Bill is now $120 a month. TV never works, always says buffering at least a dozen times a minute making it very hard to get through a show. Everytime I call instead of fixing the issue they want to sell me more services.

I cancelled service recently and had to drive to this store to return my modem. 20 minutes of standing around in their store just to drop off the equipment and for a guy to hand me a receipt I didnt want.Spectrum Management - There has to be a better way to let customers drop off equipment without having to wait for a sales rep.
They are super slow. Avoid at all costs. I have never seen so many people take their time and work so slow. Even though there is 10 people in line waiting forever no need to stop talkin about life with people to help next person. I understand chit chat with someone but 20 min while now 12 people in line is to long to gossip. Every aspect of cable is junk.
I went in to cancel internet because we moved houses. Other reviews are correct in that capacity is an issue. I went right as they opened at 9am and still waited about 35 mins. However, the lady who assisted me during my turn was very nice. We were also 2 days into a new billing cycle, but she backdated my cancellation so that we didnt have to pay anything which I think deserves a plus amongst all the negative reviews.
I went into this store today for the first time. Before leaving my house i spoke to a spectrum representative who assured me this 30min drive would not be in vein. Upon arrival i asked the lady to proceed with a phone replacement that i called about. She refused to help me in any way. She would not contact the hotline for help. In spite me having told her that i was assured i could do what i was requesting. After i left the building i called the spectrum hotline back to ask why i was told to drive that distance only to be rejected. While on the phone the police arrived at witch point an employee attempts to file charges on me for vandalism. When asked to show proof of such events the case was dropped. This behavior is unacceptable and i will be filling a lawsuit if nothing is done
Every time I go in store for anything. I get nothing but rude attitudes ignorance to any and all technology and always given the wrong modem. First time I upgraded internet package to 320 Mbps and was given a modem that can only handle 20. This time I went in with my grandparents to help make sure they set everything up correctly. And the rep even reminded me that they had a landline on their plan. And then gave me a modem that doesn’t support landlines. Leaving my grandparents without a house phone while my grandpas brother is in critical condition at the hospital due to covid-19 and his only source of update is the routine checkup the hospital does by calling his landline. So so SO tired of this store and would go to literally any other location OR internet provider if the option were actually available
Had like 10 people waiting, even had people having to wait outside and there were 2 or 3 employees just standing by their kiosks not taking customers. Extremely disappointed because I have to go back again because they didnt even have the router I need replaced in stock. One of the worst run businesses I have ever been to.
I was told by customer care to go there and drop off my equipment as I cancelled my services with them. The rep at the store told me I had to wait and get in line. I explained what i was told, she proceeded to tell me that she refused to take the equipment and I need to make an appointment
Customer service was great. Its sad that are bill went up to $200 a month. Then we was going to keep the internet they told us it was going be $79 a month. Lady then said just turn it off for a month come back and they can give you the promotion for $49 a month. So we are going to wait...
Very convenient to have a Spectrum office in town. In the past they were great at getting done what you needed. Billing, new equipment, etc they usually would take care of you no problem.. Unfortunately theyre really pushing phone plans now and thats alot of the conversation. Theyll question the phone youre holding, who your provider is, then push you to switch to their service. Not what Im looking for when I go here and Id imagine others agree.
It was very busy just opened on a Sunday. Some customers jammed up the flow cause they apparently had a hard time typing their first name & last initial ;) on the entry pad. The two agents were fast. Ours was very knowledgeable and friendly. Very calm and confident. It was a good experience!
I dont trust this company. Paid for high internet speed for over two years. And then found out they were providing the lower speed the whole time. When it was brought to their attention they would only reimburse me for one month, and didnt follow through with that! Beware check your speed to see if your getting what your paying for.
Horrible customer service!!!!! After waiting over 20 minutes to drop off cable boxes to finish my disconnect I finally sat them at a counter with my name attached and walked out. A lady proceeded to follow me out screaming at me that I couldnt do that and said she was leaving the boxes outside and I would be charged for them!!!! Super rude the whole time I was there to other customers as well. So glad I wont be using them anymore. However the guy I talked to on the 1800 number was super nice and even said she was very unprofessional..which I already knew! Very horrible experience
The store is very clean but the lady Latasha who was greeting people has been nothing but rude. There was a lady who came in to drop off her equipment (she ended up just leaving it)and after she left Latasha was loudly mocking the customer...some time passed and she again started mocking the lady to.the other customer thats in here. I already have a pokr outlook on spectrum because I have only had the service 6 months and have had to have a tech come out 4x, my.wifi hardly ever works, cannot make changes using the app, have had to spend hours on the phone trying to fix the problem and now had to.drive 35mins to change equipment.
Absolutely worst customer service and internet service. Have issues with a modem and drive out of the way to get a new one only to bring home yet another defective modem to which the IT man on the phone says to go get it replaced at the store. Costing more time and money as I work from home and now two days without service. Never have I ever been so annoyed and put out by a company who seems not to care. This is also not the first occurrence of this either. Horrible customer experience.

Not really happy with the way this store is handling returns. I went in today and they told me that they werent taking any returns at this time. but you can go to the ups store or another spectrum store. The manager Jamie made this decision. No signs to notify anyone. Very poorly managed store...so glad I changed to ATT.
One of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had. The gentleman had a bad attitude as soon as I stepped up to him, rolled his eyes, argued with me about what package I had, couldnt answer any questions, and did not solve my issue.I did email corporate who got back to me quickly, and the store manager tried to resolve the issue. So the overall company was very helpful, but that location not so much
Well Im glad to tell you all that the reason I recently visited Spectrum was to return all of my equipment. Except for my router. The internet I will be keeping. I have found and absolutely awesome alternative 2 Spectrum and if you would like to email me I would be happy to share that with you. However I am giving Spectrum A1 because I feel they have monopolized their field. I dont know why with all of the deregulation with the electric company and gas and phone, why are we not able to choose from other cable companies.
Wow. Big change from TW customer practices. Super fast service, even if the store is busy. Sign in and watch the digital list to see when youre next. They focus on you and handle your equipment request pronto and youre out the door! No pressure into buying more services or fiddling with your account or equipment. Courteous, knowledgeable, and customer focused. Nice.
Got their phone service. They charged me for the wrong phone and 3 months later no one can get it right. They have yet to refund me the difference in cost of the two phones. Either give me the phone Im paying for OR give me whats owed. If you want a representative who knows what shes doing: DONT GO TO ELVYRA in the Canton location. Save your money AND your time. Stay with Verizon and save yourself the hassle.I only gave them one star because I have to give them something. They dont deserve it

Dont go inside there if you dont have to. Waited inside in a line for 2 hours with very little - to - no personal space. to be told nothing to be done. and then when i got home i found out theyd changed my package without even bothering to tell me. really?? REALLY??? if you need to go there see if you can find when down time is or plan for hours of standing around and getting no help.
If i could pick 0, or even negative stars...I would! Spectrum put voice on my plan without my conscience permission. I dont even have a home phone...I would never agree to pay an extra $9.99 a month for something not applicable to me. When I called to remove it, they wouldnt give me my money back for the many months I didnt catch. Slimball company!
Im going to have to make a 6th visit in 2 weeks to try to get proper equipment as a beginning TV user.Im still not installed. Today, they let me walk out without the proper remote to operate the box. I phoned the Activate number and they explained I have to return to get the proper remote. All this after I was told at first I didnt need a box at all. Best Buy told me what I needed.
My bill in September was 50.99 for internet only, (not tv cable, not phone service) and I was ok with that. Then in October it went up to 54.99. Now this month it went up to 69.99, just for internet!! I’ve seen where they offer “new” customers good deals but if you are with them for any amount of time then you have to pay higher prices. You would think they would want to keep longtime customers!! Guess not!
We only knew of spectrum when moving to the area, and it has been a yr of nightmares. My internet don’t work many times. Our tv channels are scrambled so much that I get a headache sometimes trying to watch things. I’ll call and they’ll come out. Say this or that and say they fix. A few weeks later they’ll have to b called again. It’s been nerve wrecking ever since we got it. Then they upped our promotional amount b/c we just hit a yr. now paying about $50 more a month then next yr the worker said we’ll be at the standard rate b/c no more promotions. Then it’ll go $$72. You’d think they’d want to keep customers and not jack up bills every yr. just give me the same as what I was paying. If it was good enough for them for a yr, even after doing a $9 hike in feb, then let it be. We are loyal costumers that want to stay, but we might be moving on to something else. Anything is better that having internet go out and tv not being able to be watched. But you know they expect you to pay on time every month. For services that don’t work. Good luck to people out there getting spectrum. This customer will b shopping around.
Waited 40 minutes to return equipment for an already cancelled account. This is why people are cutting cable. They cant wrap their walnut-sized brains around the a la carte business model that the majority of their customers want. 5 employees waiting on 2 customers - for 40 minutes.
I would recommend any other company first unless they hold the monopoly in your area. I was with TWC (now Spectrum) for 5 years. Not because I wanted to be but, because of a lack of options for internet service in my area. The customer service is just awful. Thank god AT&T now offers internet service in my area. When Spectrum bought them out I didnt notice really. That was until I came up on a rough patch. I called to try and push my payment 10 days due to a lack of funds at the end of summer and college starting back up. I was told, We no longer do that. Well, I no longer pay you for service then. AT&T hooked me up 2 days later. They talk to you like you dont have a choice of service providers because, most times, you dont. I assume the employees in the shop are rude because they deal with angry people all day who are constantly disappointed and upset with the service.
Internet super slow. Cant stream half the time. Wont load simple wordpress pages every other week.Their solution is unplug, wait 30 secs, plug back in.Im not doing it every week.Unacceptable for 60 bucks a month for internet alone. My 4G on a prepaid phone is faster.
I have 3 cell phones with spectrum. I went to add another line. I wanted to trade in an old phone and purchase a new one. They told me that if I called the number they give me, they will send me a box for a trade in otherwise I would have to wait 2 days for my phone. So I called the number right when I left. I was told I can’t trade in my phone because the order was already placed. No one is on the same page with this company. Horrible customer service. No one has the same answer. Will take my business elsewhere. Do not get mobile services with them!
If I could give them less than one star I would. I moved 2 houses (yes not a typo) down the street and they refused to connect my service even though the bill was current. I called them everyday for 3 months solid.They actually came out one day, connected my neighbors service, right cross the street then came back the next day and unhooked it and took their equipment. Told him he couldnt have it because they had an agreement with Fu@@king Armstrong, or as we call them here Strongarm because its just like being robbed. What they do is called price fixing and its a crime, but they get by with it because they pay off politicians.

I hate spectrum! Our channels are always saying they are unavailable or we have to upgrade on channels we pay for remote to one box has not worked since installed the living room box. The main box will not fast forward or rewind on eve even after resetting the box and changing batteries almost daily it still doesn’t work Giving them a 1 was a stretch!

Made my day and experience a positive one !!The entire staff is doing as good as can be expected when changing companies and procedures . Shout out to the WONDERFUL (gal) repair tech who came to our home Sunday afternoon, 8/11/2019. We were causing an outage (unintentional) for many area customers. Once we were pinpointed as the culprit of internet drainage, came into our home to solve this mystery. She and my son figured out it was his gaming computer add on that was causing the issue. She gave suggestions for an alternative fix for his computer. I should have asked her name. Couldnt have been more professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you!
Spectrum is horrible for their service. They dont conduct good business ethics. My rate suddenly changed without notice and my bill went up 30.00 without notice. When I called customer service, they refuse to make it right and appropriately handle a customer. I am taking my equipment back and cancelling my account with them. I refuse to have service with them again. Its sad that they are major provider and fail to conduct proper business.
To avoid wait times go Spectrum online appointments, schedule a time, and you will be waited on in just a few minutes upon arrival at the store. Great service option! My internet is fast and cable too. When I called a representative to connect my TVs the technician was patient, helpful and kind. It took awhile for me to adjust to the new service but I recommend it!
David and Starret were awesome, there were problems with the sign in tablet and a long line of customers, even a kid was crying when I was waiting. When I stepped up to get help these two made all those troubles, including what I came in for, go away. They were real, down to earth and FUN representatives. If you go hope to get them!
Returned a bad cable box to exchange and they gave us a used dirty one that would not power up. Horrible prices, horrible service, horrible customer service, internet speed test always report excellent speeds, but just try to stream music or download anything. 1 Star is about 1/2 Star too much! !@$!?&@!!!
After talking to a spectrum representative this morning over the phone we were instructed on what to do to transfer services from my roommates name to mine neither of us has an existing balance I did t even have service currently but have had in the past with spectrum my roommate was the one who has the current device at our home . We (me and my roommate )drive a half hour to the everhard location in canton Ohio Jaime waited on us told us we would not be able to transfer or stop and start new services he grabbed Katie her manager that was there this morning and the manager said they were not ableTo do it either ? Confused because we were both present at this location with our Ids they told us spectrum was just audited for transferring accounts so I explained we just spoke to a nice lady over the phone and she said we could we just both had to go i to the location together ! So I drive home we called the spectrum number cancelled his service then I got service put in my name at the same location why would the manager Katie waste our time and not want my buisness when neither of us had a past due bill or anything she told us we needed a rent receipt ????? Very disappointed in the everhard st canton location spectrum and the manager for wasting my time
Im just trying to quit Spectrum. Theyve made it almost impossible to quit. People on the phone are not able to cancel your service. You have to go to your local store. Lines in the store were long. No one the door had a clue about anything. I was there 4 times today. This has been a terrible experience. And, Im still not finished. I have to go back to the store a fifth time. The CEO and Executive Team at Spectrum need a serious wake-call. Their Board of Directors need to replace them.
Cable hasnt worked good every since Spectrum took over from Time Warner. When you explain this to customer service people, they dont care. They have nothing to say to you. At least after us having 2 techs come to fix cable and Internet too, and it is still not working, they could at least give you some kind of a credit, but no, nobody cares about the service. So, I am switching back to Direct TV for awhile.
For a case study in Why Monopolies are Bad, become a Time Warner customer.I went to this retail location because the TWC customer service 800 number is terribly rude and not at all helpful. Imagine my surprise when it seems the entire company is this way, even to a customers face. Like a cell phone store, you have to sign in at a computer (tablet) at the door, while all the staff (with no other customers in the store) ignore the fact that you are there. After I was through signing in, I waited around while the employees continued their conversation. After a minute or two one employee reluctantly broke away from the conversation, walked past me without a word to another computer, apparently to acknowledge she was helping me and to see my name. (Note to Time Warner: STOP USING CUSTOMERS FIRST NAMES!!). When explaining what my service issue was, she interrupted me to tell me that I didnt have that service(I dont?....Why do I pay for it?...Why was that the selling point for my buying your terrible cable service when all I wanted was HSIA?....Why does a customer service rep at a TWC retail store not know the basic features of their CURRENT packages?...Seriously, how can you not know that on demand is part of my package?...Why do I pay TWC for the privilege of dealing with you?)Another employee had to correct her, that yes indeed I was correct in what my plan included. After huffing at me when she was corrected, she told me I most likely had a bad box and I should bring it to them.(Hey TWC, your junk service is overly expensive...please explain to me why Im doing your leg work? Send me the stupid box!).If you have any other viable options in your area, do not think of using Time Warner.Hey AT&T, upgrade your HSIA speed P L E A S E!!!
Introductory speeds of 100mbps now and theyre upgrading customers in random markets yet I call and ask for it and Im told to screw off. Guess running a monopoly isnt enough for them that they need to rip off existing customers while offering better services to get new customers
Consistently horrible customer service measured over years of visits. The pay here self-service machine has been non functional for months. Total apathy from staff and management. It is difficult to imagine a worse place to visit just to get help with TV and internet service.
So i had internet and mobile thru spectrum. I moved to an area spectrum is not in. They sent me an email saying I could upgrade my phone since its paid off. Im like ok lets see what they have. I go to spectrum store just to be told that since I live where I do Im s.o.l on an upgrade unless I get internet. Well revert back to spectrum is not in my area. Was literally told well then you should move and get spectrum then we can help you by someone at their call center.. never again.
This is not a place to go for questions or services. They just refer you to call customer care about all questions. Not helpful at all, also waited 40 minutes to find this out. Not happy at all. So, spent an hour in the store for no help or answers to my issues or questions. Not really sure what they do there except take your money.
Hate is a strong word.... but I have never hated a company more than TW. Im not sure where to begin I have had so many issues with my bill never being correct then you call in they claim to fix it and they charges are right there on the next bill. Their promo deal is bs 89.99, then it goes to 159.99 and when you try to back out of it they claim internet alone would cost you 122. Every time I call to fix an issue, per our phone conversation its fixed. As soon as 24 hrs pass by same issues and when I call in again, that person tells me the person before did not do what I just explained he did. I am sick of it, always transferring you to someone else to bullshit you and try to sign you up for services you never asked for. Now I am trying to close my account and I cant even do that! They keep talking their bs and not listening to me, I WANT TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT!!! So now Monday morning I am going to drive to a TW location to do it in person.
Great service but you are forced to pay a lot if you only want 1 or 2 services. Love their lobby style and customer service at the store, its the company that should make lower speed tiers for those of us that cant really afford 75$ for internet even if its blazing fast.
I have had my share of problems with TWC but it was in years past. My biggest complaint was price of service. I downgraded to internet only & use a over the top service. You have no monthly cap on data usage like AT&T which is a plus. The biggest thing is TWC treats its employees like crap. They are on a zip tone which means they get call after call after call. Dealing with pissed off subs over and over and over. If you hang up because you dont like the answer the rep gave you or you loose the call & you call back. That rep gets a negative score. They are suppose to solve your problem first call. If you loose the call, the rep has to be on top of the phone to call you back or they get another call and they are stuck. You have to know how to deal with them & I dont mean calling in and acting like a dick.
Time Warner is horrible. Been through over 20 refurbished modems in the last 10 years. Customer service is terrible. They dont even try to work around you and your work schedule. Lose pay to convenience them and not even guaranteed they show for service? Are you frickin kidding me? Go with ANYONE else unless you love abuse and used crap.
This is my experience with installation and customer service:Called for installation, 1st available appt is 14 days from now 10am -12pm --> took A half day off and waited for the tech who had never showed up --> 1 pm, received a call from the tech telling me that he is in the wrong state and I have to call TW to fix that ---> spent an hour on the phone, got my address changed, they dont have another appt until a week later --> one wk later, receieved a call from the tech and said I didnt answer the door --> found out that once again he has the wrong house number --> both the tech and I called TW and got the address changed and got Internet installed, but it was 2.5 hours after the promised appt time.A customer service representative promised to waive the installation fee. 3 weeks later, I found out that they charged me for installation fee. Contacted customer service again, the response I got was that they do not have a record saying they would waive the fee ---> angrily, I paid.My experience with the Internet:There were approximately 5 days that I did not have internet service in the past 6 months ( I called TW 2 times, the reason I was given was maintainence, with no ETA) The speed of Internet is often much much slower than what is promised by the Internet package advertisement.
Time Warner is horrible to say the least. I have never had to work with a service as terrible as Time Warner. Sadly, do not know why i even give them my money by having them as my provider. Breakdown- I simply requested to have my current cable transferred to a new house as i am in college and moved houses after one year. It turned into an absolute mess and has been weeks now and is still not sorted out, and now i must go into the store FOR THEM, when they should be doing me favors considering the mess they have put me in. Something has to change with Time Warner.
We got new internet from them and upgraded but still our tv has to be reset weekly. Top that off cell phones keep disconnecting from internet though it still says Im connected and this keeps happening alot. Also the 100mbps thing is a joke it doesnt do much. They need to fix these problems and start doing things right.

2021-08-30Customer service rep that I talked with on the phone told me that I couldnt cancel my internet over the phone, and to cancel I would have to come into the store with my equipment. Polite enough and I get it, they got an extra months payment out of me. Came into the store and the lady at the counter was very polite and helped me cancel my plan. I took a few photos, mostly because I was very surprised that it didnt look like an office, it looked like an apple store. A woman who I assume to be the manager yelled at me from across the room you cant take pictures in here! You cant take pictures of us! No sign on the door, and Im not using them commercially. She could have just asked me nicely and not screamed it at me.

2022-07-03A few visits now with mixed feelings. I love Spectrum overall for services. This is a very busy location and its best recommended that you make a reservation or appointment online before visiting. I have spent hours in this location, which could have been avoided by making prior appointments. It really depends on your needs and expectations, but I would expect to make an appointment beforehand to have the overall best expectation.

2022-04-05Quick in and out experience in exchanging home internet equipment. It was great having this local option vs waiting for someone to come and install new ones. Customer service was great. The young man also helped us update the account information. You basically have to turn right when exiting the parking lot, dont be that guy trying to turn right into the crazy traffic waiting to get onto 77.

2022-02-17I’ve been with Spectrum for a long time and I unfortunately had to go into the store to pay my bill. Simple task right? I walk in sign in with my reservation code and he calls out the next customer which is me,but he didn’t say my name. I said excuse me sir I have a reservation and I’m signed in. He was very rude and said well you need to make sure your name is on there. I asked what was the point of making a reservation with a number if you’re not going to Abide by the rules/regulations. I understand you are constantly busy so am I still hats why I took the time to reserve before coming. I highly recommend reserving but the employees need to make sure they follow. Bad time!!!!!!

2022-04-12If a lower score were possible it would be that. Ive never even had a technician show up to my house to connect service.I was charged $106 and never even got it out the box. These guys show up to my house and ask me to give em a chance. I reluctantly agreed to second chance if they drop the $106 charge because I NEVER had service. They havent dropped the charge. Ive still never had spectrum service. And this is why I never dropped my AT&T . I knew yall would try and screw me over. I get 5-10 calls a day demanding$106 for spectrum. YOU PROVIDED NO SERVICE. I AM NOT GIVING YOU MONEY FOR NOTHING!! IM NOT PAYING YOU $106 TO BABYSIT YOUR EQUIPMENT IN AN UNOPENED BOX.

2022-02-23Been a loyal and longtime customer. Recently a promotion ended and Internet bill went up $25. I check and see that there is a promotion running for new customers but when I call to try and work something out, they told me I am stuck at the new monthly price or I can cancel. Doesn’t seem right not to take care of the customers who have been supporting you.

2022-04-12Went to return a device and cancel my TV service today. I was the only one there for a couple minutes until a lady walked in. There were four people in the establishment, two of which were on a computer doing something. Not one of them acknowledged the presence of myself or the lady behind me until after we had stood there for about 10 minutes and she asked why nobody would help us. One of the guys at the computer said he and the other worker with him were completing an order. Finally somebody showed up from the back room and called me up. As far as returning the device, I was told that it couldnt be returned to the store and had to be mailed even after I pointed out that store drop-off was listed as an option on a sticker that was on the box it was mailed in. Will never have anything to do with any service from them apart from internet. Considered Spectrum Mobile at one point, not now.

2022-04-13Demetrius was awesome. There was a customer standing at the next window giving one of your sales people a real hard time. The store manager address the customer and your store personnel handled the whole situation extremely well. The salesman did nothing wrong to deserve that type of disrespect by one of your customers. My wife and I both Witnesses this. Hats off to all three of your sales people. Find job

2022-03-17Its impossible to do but I would give this company 0 stars they are the worst company Ive dealt with the whole time Ive had them Ive had problems with my service and they even came out and fixed the problem and Im still having the same problems. Call in today just to be told my internet plan is too cheap to expect it to run correctly. Disgusting. Why offer plans for 40$ a month and then say that.
