Spaghetti Warehouse in other cities:
Our server was really nice and funny. It’s also a really cool atmosphere. Id honestly ever only come back for that. The food just simply sucks. We had appetizers and 3 different entrees. It was all hardly mediocre, but it was my moms birthday and she loves pasta… so we sacrificed.. but she didn’t even care for it. The food is just not good. No flavor. No seasoning. Nothing. Enjoy your visit, but don’t have high hopes for delicious food because you won’t find that here.
We went on 3.27 for dinner and had a wonderful dinner. Our waitress was superb and very attentive to our table. I had the spaghetti feast, which was excellent.I would highly recommend this. We will try to go to the mystery theater they have there some timeThis would be a great place to go after an Akron AA Baseball Game, within walking distance
My family and I had a wonderful meal made all the better by our waiter Andrew. I really couldnt decide what I wanted to eat, so I asked for recommendations (several times), and he hit it out of the ballpark every time! Their Sangria he made was aexcellent. A good waiter or waitress is worth their weight in gold these days. Better keep this young man. Save room for desert!!!
Food was good but not hot. Not as good as it used to be, however. We waited 15 minutes (we kept track) just to get our drink order. Our server was new, but it was obvious she had had little training. We finally asked for our bread at the *end* of our meal. She didnt know what merlot was. We had to listen to mumbling trivia guy the entire meal. Had we been able to participate, it would have been different. It was just an an irritant. We had to ask to have our soiled dishes removed. The entire experience was a disappointment. I always loved this place, but I doubt I will make the trip to come again.
My husband and I ate there today, 12:30. It wasnt really busy and we were immediately seated and given menus. Then it went downhill......the girl who had given us the menus said she would be back in a couple of minutes but after 15 minutes and having her walk past us several times I asked another waitress if she could take our order. She told us that she would have to get permission from the original server so she didnt make her mad. She went to ask and then came back and told us that the other girl wanted to wait on us so we continue to wait another 10 minutes. Finally the second girl decided to take our order because she knew we had been waiting so long. We were very patient and understanding and not in a hurry to go anywhere so we let that pass. We got our meals in a timely fashion and they were good but the music that was playing loudly was annoying. This is an Italian restaurant not a hip hop, rap bar. Our table and chairs and the floor was very tacky/ sticky. The couple seated next to us never sat down and had to ask for their bench seats to be wiped off. We were seated close to the restaurant phone which rang constantly and no one picked up, again very annoying. On the music, as we got out of our cars and walk towards the entrance the music was blaring out into the parking lot and as we got to the door it was deafening. It was the same way as we walked from the restaurant to our car. Who in the world listens to this music in the parking lot and why does it need to be so loud? Most of the crowd was middle-aged to elderly, 40s to 60 plus and I dont think anyone that age appreciated the loud music or the annoying phone. Eating out should be a pleasant experience, this was not.
We had dinner delivered. I ordered online and put special instructions in 2 different places to please add a lot of extra tomato sauce. I even called the restaurant to make sure that they put the extra sauce in and the young lady said absolutely, it was no problem she would make sure it was in there. I not only DID NOT get any extra tomato sauce AT ALL, I got marinara instead of the tomato sauce. And there was only about a tablespoon of marinara on the entire spaghetti with Italian sausage dinner. The sausage was so hard I had to carve it with a knife. The minestrone soup veggies were also hard as though they were only partially cooked for a short period of time. This is the first time I’ve eaten there since they were at their old location and I will never eat there again. This was a completely terrible dinner that I literally could not eat after a couple of bites. Yuck!
From start to finish it was a great experience. This was one of my favorite places to eat as a college student, so I saw it only fitting to take my daughters and husband. They absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic, our waitress was phenomenal. We will definitely be coming back!
I recently stopped at this restaurant as I was passing through the Akron area. I was there around 11:30am for lunch. First Impressions? OMG! This is by far the FILTHIEST restaurant I have ever laid eyes on, and it smelled like a house that hadnt been cleaned in 10 years and had cats. The floor was the most disgusting thing Ive ever seen and all the seating has not been wiped down in 5 years or more (food, sauce stuck everywhere). The wedding soup was strange, it was so salty I couldnt even eat it. I had spaghetti with italian sausage. The noodles were hard, tasted old. The sausage was ice old. The sauce itself was palatable but nothing to write home about. Bottom line, I dont even know how the Health Department allows this place to remain open. I would NEVER visit this restaurant again. My server was actually friendly & I didnt wait very long for service (like a lot of reviews Im seeing) but it sounds like most people have a terrible experience with service. Thumbs down. Please get an entire crew in there to sanitize and do something with that disgusting floor. I would be embarrassed to take anyone here, thank god I was alone.
When I first arrived there was a bit of a wait because there was no hostess available, some of the tables and seats in the chairs were not playing had food crumbs on them. The decor was kind of dim and not very inviting to the eye. That was the bad, the good was our server she was very nice very patient and the food was excellent not as big of a menu as they used to have probably due to covid-19 but the food was very very good.Check out the pictures.
Ive been to Spaghetti Warehouse in 3 different cities, but this one held up well and was a nice first date spot. Im sure the many charms of my companion added to my overall happiness with the place, but it seemed like a very pleasant spot, had many events listed at their venue, and the food was very good.
Update, July 2021. Visited last Friday night specifically for the Sporcle trivia night. I was concerned how that was going to work in such a cavernous place, but no worries, there was a special area in the back where the trivia host was set up. The menu has been drastically downsized, which makes it easier to choose from. I selected the 13 layer lasagna, and it was tasty. Too pricy to get every week, at $13.50 The bread served with it was so fresh and chewy I could eat it as my career. It would be a fine idea to have a trivia night special which I believe would bring in more players. Were used to playing at places that have a special, so we can afford to go weekly. Could you make a pizza special for trivia night? That would be great!July 2020: This place is huge! Took daughter and grandson here for lunch on Saturday, mainly so he could sit in the train car. Our food was good, delivered in a timely manner by a polite server. The fresh bread served with garlic butter is wonderful.
Terrible visit. Waited forever for the waitress. Than waited for drinks and she forgot a cocktail. She brought out wet plates from the dishwasher. Took forever for her to come back to take the order because I saw her playing the arcade game. Food was lukewarm at best and the lasagna sauce tasted like straight tomatoes paste. Save your money go somewhere else
Just wondering in that 15 layer lasagna that seemed microwaved where the meat and cheese was inside like in The picture because all it was was layer after layer of noodle nothing inside till the last noodle that had a little bit of meat and that was it!.. the thing was lathered in sauce probably to cover up the mistake of what you call lasagna! Hate to say it but even olive garden knows how to make lasagna! If you need a good recipe I can provide one😑 all in all feel like I was cheated paying $17 for a bunch of noodles coves inSauce
The soup came out cold, the spaghetti with Italian sausage was excellent. Service was great, interior is awesome. Chandelier when you walk in is the greatest thing I have ever seen. I would buy it and spend every cent I have just to own it. I would go back. This would have been 4 stars if the soup was hot.
Reservations mean nothing here. The wait staff is unorganized, the restaurant is dirty, and the food is NOT good. The alfredo was the worst Ive ever had (super bland) and my husbands pizza tasted weird. There are plenty of other restaurant choices in the area; do yourself a favor and pick one of them.
Great spaghetti restaurant in downtown Akron! Plenty of free parking, so you wont have to worry about meters or a garage. The building is an old rubber factory and they kept the industrial look. They are plenty of antiques and old signs to keep your attention. It is located along the towpath trail. So you could stop in while riding the trail. They are extremely family friendly. We were there for lunch. But it was a holiday and they were not very busy. Our server was excellent. He listened to my sons special instructions for his drink (a little bit of every soda) and was very nice to him.The food is very good. And as I have mentioned, the service is always very nice.We have eaten here several times and have never had a bad time.My son really enjoyed eating in the old cable car.
Not impressed, drinks taste as if no acohol, we ordered margaritas, could only taste syrup. Waitress carried out food with her fingers inside the plates, had to return it. And a day and age when everything should be sanitary why arent they wearing gloves to serve your food. One and done
Went here with a group there were less than i expected but we made the best of it. The food was good. Some could have been better from what I heard of the place seemed to be lacking in flavor. Love the decor. The waiter was ok. Hes still learning. But forgot an order wasnt really attentive on refilling drinks. Definitely get the calamari as an appetizer. I would come back sometimes people are having a bad day.
We had a great experience at the Spaghetti Warehouse! The food is delicious! My favorites are the lasagna and the chicken parmesan! The atmosphere is also wonderful! The inside of the building is covered in interesting memorabilia! They do have a new limited menu due to covid, but all the most popular entrees are still available! Must try if youre in Akron!
It was better this time than it has been in the past. That being said the lasagna noodles were super hard. My guess is it was reheated. I didnt have high expectations due to past experience so I just ate around it. For the price they are asking youd think the quality would be better. Non the less I still enjoy going in there for the nostalgia. I could see this being a fun place for a family.
Im only giving 4 stars because our waitress saved the day. We came here last night for our sons birthday with our family. We brought a decent sized party and was almost turned away. The waitress was amazing. Never skipped a beat on our visit. However the manager woman was absolutely horrible. First she wasnt dressed like a manager whatsoever. She had on a dingy purple hoodie and an attitude that cause me to write this. They gave us a hard time about our large party and had an attitude about it. She rolled her eyes and smacked her lips the entire time we talked to her. She wasnt exactly manager material. The food was great and our waitress was amazing but that female manager that was there last night needs a management training course and should absolutely learn how to talk to people
I visited this restaurant a few days ago and the service was incredibly slow. We saw 5 people and it took 15 mins to get the most minimal service. Once we received our drinks and food, all was better. The drinks were very good. The food was better than average and they also have games available for you to play which was a nice way to kill time. Not a horrible experience but it could have definitely been more of a pleasurable experience.
Very poor service and sub par foodMozzarella sticks had no cheese in any of them. After getting our very bland lasagna and spaghetti- went to look for our waiter for refills and he is chatting away behind the bar.Called the next day to speak to a managerGot yelled at and hung up on by the manager.Definitely better Italian restaurants to eat at then here.
I attempted to make a reservation for a large party (20 plus). I was told that we would be subject to a limited menu due to the size of our party. My wife got understandably upset... with several small children in our party, a limited menu was not going to work for us. Apparently the person on the other line overheard my wife getting upset and preceded to tell me, After hearing that conversation, I suggest that you go elsewhere.Point taken. Papa Bears in Belden Village was more than happy to accommodate us. Im not shelling out a small fortune to be limited to a few items. Wont be back... EVER.
Had made a reservation. The hostess couldnt find it. She sat us at the table right inside the door. My husband asked for another table, so she moved us. My dinner was fine. Our daughters chicken alfredo was oily, but somehow still dry. My husbands crispy chicken sandwich was extremely crispy and dry and served on a burnt, dry bun. My husband waited almost 5 minutes for a drink refill The waitress started to clean off the table while I was talking with our daughter. She took my dinner that I was not done eating!! We werent asked about dessert, even though by then, we had had enough and only wanted to leave. We wont be back.
Wouldnt take our group of 20+ without making us eat all the same thing. Then they wouldnt make exceptions for kids to choose other meals. The waiter (not the manager) on the phone says you should probably go somewhere elseWell alright! Never again.Yall lost a group of customers. SorryNotSorry
This place is a cheaper Cheesecake factory for sure good food. Service was very good in fact too good haha. Almost bordering on annoying, they ask you so many times if youre okay lol. I had Chicken Alfredo it was really good and the mistrone soup was really good aswell. The price is for sure fair!
è ottimo!....Located on the edge of downtown Akron with it’s own spacious parking lot, this place had a visual wonderment of an atmosphere, everywhere you look was something new & interesting, great dining experience for children. The menu was filled with deliciously described entrees and even some non-Italian selections. We thought the food tasted great but maybe not served exactly as described. We were also disappointed with how stingy they were with the pasta sauces - otherwise we’d have given four (4) stars. Our server, Breanna, was on point. She checked on us frequently, kept our drinks filled & bread fresh/warm. The price-to-value was reasonable; we’d definitely make a return trip. We eat out nearly every night and always when we venture out of town.
I live near toledo We do not care for the service at that 1 anymore and/or the food it has gone downhill dramatically so we went to this one Mind you it is a 2 and a 1/2 hour drive for us to go to this 1 our 1st experience was very good the 2nd time was nowhere near as good When we walked in the door both times we stood there for at least 15 minutes before we were seated or even spoken to Drinks were never refilledThe spaghetti was cooked terribly We unfortunately will not be making the drive to this one again Ill continue to go to Columbus or elsewhere
The food was good, but service was absolutely horrible and honestly that was a huge factor in my review. We waited 20 minutes before our server, Lyndsay, even acknowledged us. It took another 20 to get bread on the table. Another server, Becky, brought us plates, bread, and silverware since we still didnt have anything. Once we had our food, our server came back only twice, the first time forgetting the simple things we asked for and the second time to bring the check. No refills on drinks. Becky brought us boxes for our food finally. Its important to add it was not busy, so it wasnt like we were asking for extras during a rush. We just wanted decent service and items for our meal. If you get Lyndsey, prepare for a long wait and no service. Thank you to Becky for acknowledging that we were waiting a long time and trying to help.
This place is super interesting. Me and my mother were looking for food near by and this place popped up, we thought we would give it a try. The building is a old warehouse that full of interesting relics and pictures. They also have train car that you can eat in. I got their 15 layer lasagna and it was delicious. The wait staff was also quick and polite.
I have no idea where to even begin with this review, zero stars would be more appropriate. I understand that places are short staffed and I give credit where credit is due. We waited well over 50 minutes for a table after being told under 30 minutes. After being sat, at least another 30 minutes waiting on drinks to be ordered, we ordered an appetizer that NEVER came at all. We received our order about 2.5 hours after being in the facility. The soup that arrived was about 1 inch from being dumped on my 3 yr old, I swiped her chair out of the way, the server didnt even notice... she did comment that she would bring another bowl of soup back to the table since it was empty when she set it down, needless to say, that didnt happen. The food was decent, but nothing above and beyond, no butter with the bread, no cheese with the pasta, etc. Just what came to the table. When it came time to pay, the server returned after 20 minutes with our credit cards. We had two checks. She advised she couldnt run one, as it had already been used that day in the restaurant, and she needed to get the manager. Shocked, we inquired further. Come to find out she was trying to charge both bills to the same credit card and didnt realize it. After 3 hours and 55 minutes inside this restaurant, multiple mistakes and mishaps, it is safe to say that this was enough time spent and I will not be returning. I would suggest the same for others.
If you want Italian food with great atmosphere, this is the place to be! The food is really good and fresh every time. Staff is super nice and attentive. I had the chicken Alfredo and their sauce really cant be beat! Lots to see while you dine, all kinds of memorabilia on walls, hanging from ceiling, etc...trolly cars, game room, its just a total experience. Highly recommend!!
Went here the other night, and the plates and bowls we originally got were very dirty along with the cup that had my water. The food was subpar, hate to say that we will most likely try to avoid this restaurant. We used to come here all the time in college, but feel that it has gone down hill and that the price we paid for dinner was not worth what we got out of it unfortunately.
Ive only been once but honestly probably wont go back. The main and biggest issue was that the dishes were dirty. Thick, stuck on food on at least 6 of the plates. The tables had to be put together because there were a lot of us but my issue with that is that the tables are on wheels so they kept separating. So that was more annoying than annoying than anything. Lastly, we had to ask for our drinks about 3 times.
Dont understand they have a lot space but still Sat people on top of each other. They need to measure their 6 feet with chairs pulled out and waiter/waitress to also stand to take orders. Table behind me we were only 2 feet apart from each other. Also had people walk by inches between us.
We visited on a Saturday early evening and had a great time. We got a seat on the trolley and our server was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered so much food and she kept up with removing old plates to give us room for the appetizers and the huge entrée we got. The food was tasty, the service was exceptional and its a favorite place of ours so we will definitely return.
Food was phenomenal! not very busy. Our server was impossible to track down.. said just ask if anything else was required, BUT Didnt see her again for an hour. Had to swipe grated cheese from 2 vacated tables-No drink refills, took 20 min for boxes, another 30 to get our check.. other servers did more for us than ours did. If they assign her to us next time, well just leave. Impossible to have a stress-free dinner under that format.
Recently attended a wedding rehearsal dinner here, and the whole evening was great! There were about 20 of us seated in the private room. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted great. No complaints at all about the entire experience!
The host and waitress were pleasant people. The quality has really gone down. Lasagna was supposed to be a signature dish and it was under-baked then slightly warmed with a cold center and hard noodles on multiple pieces in the group. Meatballs tasted pre-made and most likely frozen. Alfredo sauce was chunky and ranch dressing was liquid thin almost watery.
The service/server was great! However the menu is still VERY limited and not much to choose from. The atmosphere was kind of dreadful. The food was just ok and our bill for 2 dine in people and 2 to go orders was $87 with the tip. NOT worth that at all! We also ordered a side of shrimp with 2 of our meals, each plate had 4 shrimp and we were charged $10 for that. This place has gone downhill!
Me and my husband come here ALL the time!! It’s our favorite Italian restaurant. Love the mozzarella fritta and the baked ziti. Oh and the warm bread and seasoned butter is delicious. The minestrone soup is oh so good. Everything we get is delicious. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
After this last visit, we wont be back. This place hasnt changed or been updated at all since I was a kid, thats over 20 years worth of the same tables, chairs and floors. All of which were sticky? Yuck. It was gross and if we werent already committed to staying with other family members, we wouldve left. Totally disgusting. I dont want to be sat at a table that has been cleaned with the same dirty water for over 20 years. Its grungy and gross. I dont recommend this place, at all. Your feet literally stick to the floor and your arms to the table. EWWW!
Not quite the same as I remember from the 90’s. The fun and family friendly atmosphere is still there in all its glory, but sadly the food and the butter are not. Still have the amazing bread, but the butter was way too salty and the food was sadly too bland. I wish it was as nostalgic of a trip as I hoped. Great service though even in the pandemic driven world with care taken for customer safety. Prices are quite good as well, and hopefully it was just a bad day with the food and thus the 3 stars.
Terrible place to eat. Dont waste your time. There are so many other options to enjoy in the Akron area. Spaghetti warehouse was good back in the day, but now they have a VERY limited menu, terrible wait staff, and a grungy interior. So sad to see places go down hill when they were once a great spot to enjoy a good meal. When I asked about gluten free options, the waitress said we have gluten free spaghetti. Obviously, they arent concerned about catering to people with food restrictions. Very disappointing experience to say the least.
I order 15 layer lasagna and I got god only knows what. The lasagna I make at home is better than this and Im a novice.Cmon guys! This is 2 layers at BEST and isnt lasagna supposed to have cheese? All I can taste is SAUSAGE.Now I totally remember why I havent been to Spaghetti Warehouse since 1999.This is terrible 🙄I tried to leave this review on their facebook page and it wouldnt let me due to abusive language which is a load of bull.I didnt say anything abusive or use any profanity whatsoever. Now Im going to leave it EVERYWHERE possible.Lets call the meal what it is...A flying lasagna MONSTER 😒
Its was okay. There was mold on the lemon in my water though. She brought another one but didnt acknowledge it past that. I didnt drink the water though because I was paranoid for the whole meal. Also for the restaurant being named after spaghetti the spaghetti was surprisingly mediocre. About the same quality as golden corral spaghetti. Not bad but not that good. My boyfriend didnt like it much either he didnt touch the spaghetti after the first few bites.. It was mostly the moldy drink that threw me off though. I didnt make a big deal of it because I hate being a Karen but Im a little sad I wasnt offered any free desert or anything to make up for drinking literal mold....
Came here for lunch as a recommendation from a friend while traveling. Highly recommend! The food came out quick, fresh and hot. And in HEAPING proportions! If you like a big deal or take home leftovers for a couple of meals, this is the spot to hit. Best of all, there was no compromise of quality of taste. The food was absolutely excellent.
Spaghetti Warehouse in Akron, Ohio. A very nice Restaurant. That has good Italian food. The Decor is nice. They have arcade games for the children and adults. The food is Delicious. The Restaurant staff is very nice and helpful. Restrooms are clean and maintained. I always have a nice time eating at the Spaghetti Warehouse in Akron, Ohio.
First time visiting this restaurant. (I’m not from here.) due to covid -19 they have a selective menu. If you want a specialty item I would call before you go. The establishment is clean, the atmosphere has a peaceful vibe to it. The hostess and server were very personable!I ordered the chicken parmigiana. The chicken was Flavorful and juicy! However My spaghetti didn’t come out the way I asked. the sausage I ordered didn’t come out either. I informed my server Grace, she fixed the issues. By the time the corrected food came out I didn’t have time to eat it.I would recommend you trying this establishment out. If you have time.
My mom and I dine here once a year before whatever Christmas show we are attending. Food isn’t great, probably average at best, but the atmosphere is unique and stores a lot of memories. We ate here last night and the only difference for us was outstanding service. We absolutely felt like our server cared about our dining experience...kudos to him for an outstanding attitude and attention to our table. Food I give 2 stars, server was 5 stars.
First time there, probably will be the last. Walked in and thought the atmosphere was amazing, but the smell turned me off. Very musty and damp. Our waiter was nice, but very slow. We werent in a hurry so it didnt really matter. Not sure because of covid, but the menu was very small. Just wasnt the best experience, but the food wasnt bad.
OMG !! This food was so perfect this is the second time in two days Ive been here and this is the third time in four years that Ive been here I come all way from Cleveland Ohio just to go to Spaghetti Warehouse because I remember when I was a little kid we had a Spaghetti Warehouse of our own particularly I believe this one was located in Cleveland and they moved it up here to Accra but however the food is delicious top-of-the-line Deelishis authentic everything when I say authentic I mean authentic the beer chili is to die for I put the beer chili on top of my spaghetti I put the beer chili on top of my lasagna it is so delicious those Italian dishes to the extreme I love to come here I will come here often you will hear from you often about Spaghetti Warehouse I love it love it love it love it love it I love you Spaghetti Warehouse
Ordered online came in 15 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, AC is broke, its 100 degrees inside. Told them my name she went back to check and came back shaking her head and muttering something. More people came on for pickup then another lady asked for my name and she said if its online we had to shut the tablets down because we ran out of half our menu. No idea if that means she will make my meal of if I am out of luck. Nobody there seemed to care. So I have to eat elsewhere...
Food was normal, I did like the fact they offered alfredo sauce besides tomatoe sauce for the lagsana. 1st serving of bread was a bit on the hard side , second round was softer. U are absolutely reguired to wear a mask before entering or u can not eat there at all . Very enforced. The salad was normal , nothing on what I call outstanding, the appetizer was the best. And I was more fascinated with the decor, and the building. They did offer old school arcade games. Why ch take u back. It was a nice Sunday outing, but Nothing to outstanding, food wise to make me want to go back often.
Wonderful dining experience! It has been years since I have dined at Spaghetti Warehouse. The last time I had eaten at this fine food restaurant was when they had a location in the Flats in Cleveland, Ohio. I had a business meeting here in Akron, Ohio and afterwards ate here. Glad my husband and I stopped.
Not good. Our table wasnt cleaned for us before we were sat. Both of our kids ordered Alfredo and neither of them liked the way it tasted. The bun for my chicken parm sandwich was burnt. The chicken patty of my sandwich was overcooked. I was also served stale chips. None of us finished our meals. However, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was different.
Walked in and the place is definitely roomy... our wait time on food was reasonable, our waitress was super kind and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks on the menu, she suggested that we try the cheesecake and OMG it was delicious. The decor is different but its worth looking around while youre at your table. They play music that is easy listening. Its worth the visit especially if you like pasta 😁
Been here for over 45 minutes and still dont have my food. Im still sitting here in the restaurant. Family of five....took 20 minutes to get drinks. 3 kids hungry. Got here sat down at 645pm. Currently its 735 and have filled up on bread were so hungry. Appetizer was small...beer request had to be asked twice for one of us. Two sides of main entrees have only been delivered and still waiting on everyones main course. I will not be back to sit down and eat in this restaurant. I love the food and will continue to dash it to me at home from time to time. Very disappointed in service tonight as this was my first time eating here in the restaurant. Its 737pm and just got the rest of our food except for my toddlers pizza...the side salad tasted like it had old tomatoes in it. Really not impressed eating in the restaurant, service was horrible. And now we have to share our food off our plate to our daughter bc she is starving. It takes alot for me to write a review.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Definitely kid friendly lots to do while waiting. The food is fresh and so delicious I definitely will be coming back here. Thank you for the great experience! Spaghetti Warehouse is my new favorite Italian restaurant. Keep up the great work.
Horrible. Coffee came out cold as did all the food. Two of us ordered the Wedding Soup and not only was it lukewarm it tasted like the cook dumped a whole shaker of pepper in it. The fettuccine Alfredo was dried out on top like it had been sitting already plated for a while. And all the food was lukewarm or colder. To top it off, we sat in a booth that had a mirrored ceiling. There was splashes of dried food on the mirror and cobwebs on the grill work supporting the mirror. Will not return
We have come here every year for our anniversary we are celebrating 31 years. We had a great experience wonderful food until the end. The post on the menu website says that the ultimate two feast is $30. But they have it for $35. We asked the manager about it and he says that this is not spaghetti warehouses menu site that you have to go to meatballs.com. who knows that its called meatballs.com when the name of the restaurant is spaghetti Warehouse clearly. The website gave us directions directly to here because we drive 35 plus miles one way to eat here. We asked about it and an argument was pursued. And the manager said he couldnt do anything or even budge we got an appetizer and our meal and drinks and he couldnt give us the $5 discount for being wrong on the website we may not come to this one again we have a year to think about it we hope that you enjoy your experience here and that if youve gone by the website you have better luck with it than we did. we hope that he does change his mind and either fix the internet or give you the $5 the extra $5 being a hard times that we are all experiencing would have been a tip for our waitress. But the manager here turned it ugly we hope that you have a good day bye PS with manager saying that theyre having a hard time with the restaurant we of course replied that were all having a hard time but of course the restaurant could absorb a little bit more than an individual because then they get returned business as well they will not have our return business here.
I had a wonderful evening at Spaghetti Warehouse in Akron. We attended a mystery dinner and enjoyed it. I have no complaints at all...and the food was really good...I highly recommend it. Social distancing and face masks were used and it made us feel comfortable. We will be going again.
Large restaurant with a lot of seating. Clean and neat with nice setup. Our server was excellent very friendly, attentive and did a great job staying on top of everything. The spicy shrimp was very good just enough kick to be enjoyable. Rib appetizer wit zucchini was nice size and very good too. Portions are good with pricing to match. Nice dinner out with family. Will go again.
They made the food and the delivery was relatively quick. Price was what you expected. We got the meatball spaghetti and the chicken parm sandwich. The spaghetti was normal, tasted the same that you would make at home. But the meatballs where great and where the flavor was at. The sandwich was also good, but the fries were even better. It is odd that the smaller parts of the meal were where the flavor was at. The side salads were alright as well. Overall: Not bad but not awesome. I will try something different next time, seeing if it will get better.
The only thing good about this restaurant was the decor. It was very unique inside with a trolley car. It wasnt packed when we went so the service should be spot on. It wasnt as we all waited 15 min for drinks and I waited 30 additional min for my adult beverage... Food wasnt great either. My lasagna was just sauce and pasta with hardly any meat on it. Didnt really taste great either. It seemed like teenagers were running the place and they didnt seem like they wanted to be there. Will never go back... Had better Italian food at Angies Italian restaurant in Barberton.
First and foremost......service service service is the most important aspect of the dining experience next atmosphere. None of which was present tonight come on not even a single refill.. we were informed that the party in the next room would take precedence over us for the night. My fiancee didnt even get her side of meatballs she ordered until we got to go boxes..although tasty the food came out played in disarray and bathroom were disgusting with main door hanging wide open spaghetti warehouse you let me down!!!!!!!
Not sure what has happened in the past couple years, but it’s gone downhill. We went here after my grandmothers funeral and it was a ghost town. The wait staff didn’t set up tables/chairs/silverware for a group party when they sat us. Three people ordered the chicken Alfredo and not one of them was finished because of how awful it was. The Covid menu is insanely small with no drinks listed- I’d have loved to order one considering the occasion, but that was a no go. And while the waitress was kind, she must’ve been very new because all of our drinks and entrees got mixed up. This used to be a childhood favorite of mine, but unfortunately, I will not be back.
Excellent restaurant! Cool building, lots to look at, weve been here about 5 times. Only once did we have a waiter we werent too thrilled with. He wasnt the least bit friendly. But the other 4 times everything was great. The 15 layer lasagna is most delicious. The Sangria is to die for!
My first time here we brought my son for his birthday dinner. There was four of us, 3 adults 1 child. They were super busy so we didnt mind waiting 15 minutes for a table. We had a table of 8 come in AFTER us and a table of 2 and another table of 4. We waited a hour for our food, meanwhile the other people including the table of 8 had all had their meals delivered, the table of 2 had dessert and left while we waited. When it finally came it was mostly cold and under cooked. Our server Hess (not sure of the spelling) was very friendly and helpful. We spoke to a manager who was not apologetic about the service at all. He tried making several excuses why we had to wait for cold food. If he had just apologized and comped some of the meal, it would have been much more professional. I had heard good things about this establishment. The decor and waiting areas are nice.
When we were seated the waiter said he never seen us so the four of set for 15 minutes before I acts were we going to be waited on. With the pandemic going on they had a very small menu so I order the spaghetti with meat sauce and it was very dry I asked for extra sauce and it still wasnt enough. It was not a good experience this was only my 2nd time ever going there my 1st experience was so amazing that I asked others to come with me this time but that will never happen again.
Just a big shout out to that Kind girl who took care of my togo order today! Just ordered soup and salad and she personally made sure that my order was above and beyound. Soup full of lots of meat and veggies. Salad over filling w cheese. Hot bread on the side!!!!!!Wow Wow Wow Just a big thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hadnt been to the Warehouse in what feels like forever. My gf and I were seated quickly, the waiter was polite and prompt. Continuously made an effort to assure our meal was delicious and our time was amazing. Wish I could remember his name to give him a proper nod...In all, an amazing experience and will definitely be returning much sooner than the last stretch!!
I ordered through Uber Eats this evening and it was amazing! I had the Spaghetti and Meatballs with Sourdough Bread, delicious compound butter and a Garden Salad. My meal was still very warm when I received it and the service was quick! The food was phenomenal! Thank you!
Food was good with large portions. Server was great...very nice guy and very attentive. The decor is kind of run down and the wait was long for some reason...empty clean tables throughout the dining area but a party of 3 had to wait half an hour. Tried to sit in the bar area but there was a loud, drunk fool talking nasty. Even his friend looked embarrassed. I have now tried this restaraunt and I dont know if Ill be back.
Server was nice but the menu sucks. They keep changing it and taking the better dishes off. Way oversaturated with sauce to the point you though you were having soup instead of a past dish. The prices are higher as well especially being a commercialized Italian restaurant in comparison to a more traditional. Not a place I would frequent.
I thought Spaghetti Warehouse was good for family Values and good food clearly thats not the case seems like the cook cant respect boundaries and have to message my phone at 2 in the morning asking my girlfriend whos the server if she could come well Id rather not say it I have children with this woman and I know for a fact that he has just had a child with his girlfriend and Im sure she would appreciate it either it all stemmed from being down at the Spaghetti Warehouse they dont have any respect any boundaries I think its sad and unprofessional at the fullest I dont see how you can employ people with such disrespect you guys have no core values down there youre not family-oriented and your employees have no respect I really feel bad for his girlfriend whom she just had his child thats really just disheartening I feel bad that I feel more bad for her this is all totally unacceptable thank you for Spaghetti Warehouse for ruining another family
My family (theres four of us total) went here for lunch one day and it was wonderful. Not only was the food absolutely amazing, the interior was so much fun to look at and the staff was 100% on it all the time and super chill. Though I did not see it, my parents said the bill was less than they expected when we got it so take that as you will. We did get an appetizer, we all got main meals and we all had something other than water. I would COMPLETELY recommend going here and I plan on going again real soon.
Place is half empty. Called earlier to ask about trivia night. They said just to come in and sign up. Get in the building and they say I have to have a reservation. Had to beg for a table! Order a drink and the waitress says Its going to be a few minutes because the bar tender is talking to someone. First time here in 15 years probably and not happy about it.
The food was excellent; they have a 2 for $20 Special now that includes a desert you can share! The venue is part of an original, tire manufacturing building. The decorations are worth the visit. An old streetcar, elevator, and a huge brass bed converted into a large booth. One of the many chandeliers is huge, ornate, and magnificent! Our waitress was wonderful and told us of the history of some of the priceless decorations.Mmmmmm food and a museum to boot. This is the place. Wish I could share a picture, but my eyes and mouth were captive.Go.The Pandemic has squelched things there, but when they go full tilt, dinner theater will return, and more.
Food was great but they dont give us a knife to cut our lasagna or chicken. Only a knife to cut the bread. Our waitress said the managers n corporate said they dont need to give out knives to cut our food. So if you plan on going bring your own knife . Totally ridiculous. They must not have enough money to afford for us to have a great knife to cut our food. Please spread the word
Pretty good food, and a fun interior. Its an odd mix of classy and cluttered with a mishmash of colors. I went once, the shrimp was overcooked but the overall dish was pretty good. It did not reheat well though. Waitress was friendly. I know a lot of people in local companies that love eating here. Prices seemed slightly high for lunch, but not as bad as other locations.
Service is hit or miss. Mostly its a miss. Sometimes the food is good. Other times its like eating mash potatoes thru a crusty sock. One time my food was served to me ice cold. The plate had frost on it. My lasagna was cold to the touch. They came back with a story about how the heating lamp wasnt turned on and they didnt realize it. I $h1T you not, they didnt even take the food off the bill. They boxed up my already cold food in a Togo container and were like here you go, heres the full bill. I was about to go all full Karen and tear the paint off the walls, but it wouldnt have been worth it. Clearly the owners dont care about quality here. Its evident in the service, the food, state of the interior and you can clearly tell the employees dont care. Why would they? It could be a really nice place.
Ive been a life-long fan of this restaurant and have visited their locations in the following cities: Akron, Columbus, Toledo and Ybor City, FL. For whatever reason, this Akron location has consistently underperformed the others that I have been to. The food and recipes are always solid, but the service just isnt as good in Akron. But like everything else in life, your mileage may vary. They still have great bread and killer lasagne.
Its authentic Spaghetti Warehouse. Atmosphere and ambience is the same for all of them. Service this time was what we expected, we have had bad service there, weve also had exceptional in the past. To be transparent, I was a manager of one in Pittsburgh. I know the standards, this met all the check marks. Good food, better prices.
Good for the price! The minestrone was good and the lasagna was very filling. I really liked the bread. I cant speak to the drink menu. The service was alright, but there was loud sounds coming from the bar. Im sure thats fine for the bar, but it over flowed into the dining area and was kind of annoying. For about 6 bucks a head though, fantastic.

2022-02-26First time visitor and it was alright. The service was not the best and we had to wait a while. But on the bright side the bread and appetizers were delicious. I got the chicken parm and the chicken pieces were huge and quite delicious but the spaghetti tasted old. They have a sweet sauce for their spaghetti as well

2022-01-20Both times that Ive eaten at this restaurant have been amazing. The first time was my fiancee and Is first valentines day together and the second was for a family birthday. Both times the service was amazing and we got our food in under 20 minutes which was even more impressive due to the fact that we were a party of 11 people. If you havent checked this place out you definitely should! (BTW the dish in the photo is Alfredo covered lasagna. TO DIE FOR)

2022-01-03This was my first and last visit to Spaghetti Warehouse. We wanted to take my young son out for his birthday and because he loves trains, thought itd be fun to come here and sit in the trolley. He was so excited. The hostess and waitress were kind, but service was a little slow. I can deal with slow, given that many places are short staffed right now. However, the general cleanliness of the establishment was questionable. The floors were sticky and needed a good sweep/mopping. The womens restroom smelled terribly and the toilets clearly hadnt been cleaned in some time, to the point where I refused to use the facility and just waited until I got home. The food was sub par. My 2 boys ordered the kids mac-n-cheese and stopped only after a couple of bites because they didnt like it - it wasnt creamy, just sticky (how do you mess up mac-n-cheese?!). None of the employees were wearing masks and while I respect personal choice, knowing that we are currently in the worst part of the pandemic, I dont understand why a restaurant wouldnt require masks of their employees for.the safety of their customers. After we finished eating and we were heading out, I asked the hostess if there was a manager I could talk to so that I could express my concerns. She said yes, that hes probably in his office, and then she walked away to seat another customer who walked in after we had asked her. It was so strange. We waited for a couple of minutes and when she didnt come back to assist us in speaking with a manager, we just left. I wish I would have walked out of there as soon as we arrived. It really put a damper on the birthday celebration.

2021-07-30I am madly in love with this place. I purchased a spaghetti dinner for four and it was only $35 and it had 10 HUGE meatballs. With the spaghetti, three drinks, an order of fries, my bill was only $46. There is so much to look at and this place is huge. There is an arcade and other games, a bar that is not viewable from the dining section. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Ill be back once Im in town again

2021-09-04Beautiful free standing, nostlgic building surrounded by lots of available parking for even the busiest of times, handicap parking available and wheelchair accessible entrance with a nice roomy ramp for convenience. Come dine alone or with family, equipt to serve small parties and large parties as well. Service was exceptional, pleasant and friendly. Inside has an open floor atmosphere with high ceilings, very spacious and roomy. Decor was fun and blissful. Nice limited menu. Pricing is fair and reasonable. Makes for a happy wallet! Full service bar for your desired spirits. Nice sized portions served, leftovers are most likely going to happen lol. Your palate will be pleased and gratified. Cheesy bread appetizer hits the spot, scrumpt-deli-licious! Spag is yummy! Italian wedding soup had an ok flavor, however could use more authentic Italian ingredients, a more homemade fresh taste recommended. Acini de pepe or Fregola with fresh baby spinach (NO celery!)along with bite sized pieces of Italian sausage and/or chicken in a homemade chicken stock broth with added Italian spices and herbs, would make this soup simple and the best (just a suggestion 😉). Iced tea is quite refreshing! We enjoyed our dining experience immensely. I highly recommend The Spaghetti Warehouse for your fun and friendly, delicious dining experience! We will return, and thats for certain! Bon appetit and Godspeed everyone!

2022-01-22Ill be honest, I thought this place was something else when I made our reservation but then was told that the place I THOUGHT I was reserving closed YEARS ago. But it was in the same area where we had some other events scheduled so we just went with it and boy, am I glad we did! This place gets an A+ in every area. Service, food, price and atmosphere. Our servers name was Rebecca and she was absolutely AMAZING with our party of NINE. She was at tentative and KIND and she spoke to the children in the group like their favorite aunt would. She honestly treated us like she was serving her own family dinner and made our visit so comfortable. The food was INCREDIBLE! We ordered the feast for 2 and there was so much food on this platter that my family of four had left overs for DAYS. The feast was served with warm bread, a huge salad to share, soup, garlic bread, lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, 2 Italian sausages, ravioli, chicken parm, and a dessert! We also ordered an appetizer and a flat bread pizza for the kids and our bill was less than $60 for my family of 4. We were SHOCKED by the price and expected to be paying way more for the quantity and quality of food that was served. The Spaghetti Warehouse building itself is a REALLY cool building. The size alone is impressive and there just seems to be rooms upon rooms, upon rooms for seating and private parties. There are fun pieces of history stashed throughout the restaurant like an old ski lift, a trolly car, a booth made out of a brass bed and an old fashioned stop light. There are also a few arcade games and claw machines in the entrance area that held the kids interest for a good while - my favorite were the old carnival style fortune telling machines. Most are only 25-50 cents/play instead of a dollar so you dont feel like youre getting ripped off in the lobby. Im sure here is a lot more that I am missing that I didnt even notice because I was preoccupied by my children. I think I saw that they have a mystery theater dinner or something too - which I would LOVE to check out.All in all this was a total win and we will definitely be going back!
