South Park in other cities:
The Pavilion had no running water in the kitchen, 2 of the outlets didnt work in the kitchen, no toilet paper in the restroom or paper towels to dry hands and to top it all off the manager double booked the pavilion! This place was rented for my Granddaughters graduation party and if the other party who also rented the pavilion had not been kind enough to let my Daughter have it they would have had no where to go!
I was chased off of the property by a creepy old lady... The restroom facilities are trashed and filthy, and the pavilion is trashed and stinks terribly of urine. The womens restrooms had dirty diapers on the back of the toilet 😱😱😷😷 the stall in the mens restroom was broken, and there was never any toilet paper or paper towels.

2021-10-25Older park and looks a little scary, but it very nice park for kids to play, adults to walk, dogs to run around.. I would always have children where u can easily see only because it is a wooded are..

2021-10-28REACH really did a great job on the cabin and blacksmith shop. Well worth the visit. The people dressed in period clothes with flintlocks are very interesting to talk to.

2021-07-21This is a nice park. They have their own community garden and historical buildings with information. They have good pokestops, walking trails, corn hole, and grills, along with the playground.

2020-12-11This little park is nice. However we couldnt stay long with our kids because some teenagers with knives came up. Was trying to jump onto our kids but the police said that wasnt threatening. Just make sure you dont let your kids play here alone.

2021-03-29The park has local historical value with 1812 Blockhouse, 1808 Log Cabin, and currently building a working Blacksmith/Cooper shop. A place for kids to play and picnic tables for a picnic lunch. In the summer there is a program for children called Fun in the Park and in October an historical reenactment event. More information about the buildings can be found on Facebook at Richland Early American Center for History.

2019-04-16Was there for Easter egg hunt and it was reasonably well run and organized. The play equipment is nice and they have been restoring the historical parts. The pavilion is newer and nice. Good open spaces and some adjacent woods. Some corn hole boards, bring your own bags. Nice park overall.

2021-05-02Beautifully restored block house and cabin reflecting life in the 1800s. Re-enactors are very knowledgeable and soon they will add a blacksmith buildingWorth a visit for sure!
