Incredibly beautiful, peaceful and special. Attend daily mass at 11 in the shrine- its definitely memorable!
What a jewel! I wish Id known about this earlier since its not too far from Cedar Point! Many beautiful statues. The old chapel has Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament! It is wonderful to visit Jesus there. This shrine increased my love for the God and for the saints and my longing for my true home. It is a nice respite in this valley of tears. I went in the morning and only saw 2 other visitors. The stations of the cross are spread out enough to give you a good walk if you pray the stations! Please do yourself a favor and stop here, whether you are a believer or not, and you will leave refreshed and full of the peace of the Holy Spirit.
BEAUTIFUL! A wonderful place for a walk, and for some meditating. It can be a little bug-gy in the summer so choose your day wisely. Outdoor mass and mass inside the chapel are both beautiful, too. Very cool statues and little buildings in memory of the saints, and of people’s loved ones. The gift shop is big with lots of neat stuff. Would definitely recommend!

Very beautiful. Its a great place to walk and pray. Most areas are shaded by trees. There are prayer candles you can light for a small donation. The outdoor church is very nice.
The Mass on Sunday was just beautiful... Its obvious that The Gardeners love their job! The Landscapers are graced with many Gifts of the Holy Spirit from the heavens above! A great place to pack a lunch and then spend the whole day with the entire family!
This is a very nice place for Catholic Mass. Outdoor as well as indoor. There is a beautiful nature trail with statues & benches. This paved trail can be used for a rosary as the Stations of the Cross or as a nice walk with children or as prayerful meditation. Also, there is a wonderful gift shop with lots of nice religious items at various prices. All the proceeds go toward the mantantace & improvement of Sorrowful Mother Shrine grounds. I definitely recommend visiting. 😉❤️🙏✝️
One of the most beautiful and inspiring places Ive been. The grounds are beautiful and very thought provoking. Good paved paths, that will lead you through the grounds. Also a must see.
This is a great place to meditate, pray, and quietly encounter God.The outdoor church is inspiring. During pilgrimage season, youll hear Mass in a variety of languages. Its awesome!The classic original church brings peace to your heart and soul.The woodland walk, with its grottos and benches, encourages one to spend time with our Creator.Their gift shop/bookstore is really awesome too, as are the people you meet there!
Gorgeous surroundings, and even here in all this beauty, someone vandalized some statues. My love of all Saints and my Patron Saint St.Jude and St.Joan of Arc would not like me to see someone doing this...i pray for you. Love of Jesus and all the Saints makes this a wonderful place to find yourself and the love that is in your heart. God Bless.

The coffee shop is cute! The coffee latte we had was not good, no flavor, and just warm. It should have been hot when we ask for extra hot!
A beautiful, peaceful place. We loved taking our family here, there is so much for the children to explore around every corner. Picnic lunch and a search for their favorite saints.

This place is a little bit of heaven on earth. Very friendly and relaxing. The paths throughout the woods are wonderfully maintained and serene. Reflect, pray, spend some alone time with God...youll find it all here.
Its a heart moving adventure to walk a path like our savior walked. Obviously completely different circumstances walking this beautiful trail about His walk on Calvary, but if you let it sink in, it is amazing.

2021-08-10Absolutely astonishing. One of the best places to go and walk and clear your mind. To see the many grottos and talk to the Virgin Mother, Christ and God. Walk in peace and gather your thoughts throughout the site. The beautiful grounds are just what is needed to be alone and gather your thoughts and pray. The entire site is well kept. The grottos vary from the Virgin Mother to St Theresa to the Specula.

2021-04-15Beautiful and inspirational. Been going here since I was a kid. Very well maintained. Recite the Stations of the Cross, walk the shady paths to different little shrines, sit and enjoy the surrounding beauty and serenity along the way, visit Lourdes and Fatima and the beautiful sepulchre, and dont forget the awe inspiring chapel!! Theres a gift shop and picnic areas also. Spend a day here with the family, kids love being able to run the paths too! Great for all ages.

2019-05-23Beautiful grounds and a wonderful atmosphere! Confessions are heard 45 minutes before each Mass. The grounds are easily accessible on paved pathways. Definitely worth a visit!

2020-09-21This is a beautiful place to enjoy walking through the gardens, Trails, and Statues outside. The grounds are lovely with lots of flowers and Nice Landscaping. There are many statues and other memorialization of various biblical and Catholic figures. The church itself is Gorgeous inside although I have never been to a service there. There is also a really neat outdoor Amphitheater. The Stations of the Cross is touching, as well. There are plenty of public restrooms which always comes in handy. This is a wonderful place for a relatively quick trip to just walk through, or to spend more time in quiet contemplation.

2021-08-01Bathed in beauty, serenity and light. Amazing walking paths to various shrines and grottos. Beautifully manicured gardens and walkways...even a labyrinth. A wonderful day to spend walking in contemplation and in nature.
