Dis honestthis is all because he bought a vehicle from a auction down south and then he told me that he had to put more money into itmy wife saw that he had raised the price1000 dollars and when I called him he said he would honor the price that we had agreed onThen I get a voice message that he sold it to a family in West VirginiaI Always base my judgement on how somebody keeps their word and I am really glad that I didnt buy a car from this car lot because the person that was supposed to have kept his word to let us drive 80 miles to buy the vehicle sold it out from underneath us the night before we were supposed to go up there.I had talked to Mr Solomon and I also talked to his secretary and his secretary made it very clear if Mr Solomon says you got first crack at the vehicle then you have first crack at it then I get a phone call the night before that he sold it out from underneath us if thats the type of person that does this then Im glad we didnt buy the carI hope the family that got the car got some kind of warranty on this 10,000 carNot a man of his word ..................

2019-08-16Sent a message via Autotrader about a 2006 Ford Ranger for my daughter and received a quick reply. Called because it was a bit of a drive and was promised they would hold until I got there to see it. They let me take my time inspecting it and driving it and then met me on there day off (Sunday) to secure the purchase. Overall a very pleasant experience and a very nice truck for the money. Best of all my daughter loves it! Thank you!

2021-07-13I want to give a special thank you to the owner and his wife! We broke down on the side of I-71 and requested a towing quote to get a tow on over to their location for a U-HAUL rental from them to load it up and haul it back home ourselves with a car dollie. Sadly, the towing quote was $300 from a local company for just under a 10 mile tow. We own a towing company back in Michigan and our rates would have been $80 for the same tow. We declined obviously. Thankfully the very kind owner came and picked us up free of charge even after we told him over and over we would pay for the inconvenience. He declined the offer! Hard to find kind people like this now days and we are so thankful for them! We appreciate this more then you know, we will always remember your kind deed!

2017-06-28I purchased my vehicle from Basil 4 years ago, and its been an awesome car. i love it. ive not had any major problems with it, just normal maintenance. a great friend of mine recommended him to me, and she trusts him 100%. i plan to always buy my used vehicles from Basil. He will be honest with you about the prospects of finding the vehicle you want based on your price range and requirements. Jim took care of us and he is patient- because he loves cars and knows people take their vehicles seriously. We have purchased our fourth vehicle with him and planned to work with him in the future. Basil and Jim do a great job of taking care of their customers.

2018-10-19I was very disappointed with the customer service I received. We met and discussed bidding on a car the following morning. I was told to call in the morning to confirm the amount after discussing with my husband and he would be waiting for my call. I called the next morning with a couple questions/concerns, but he was not in the office yet. I was told he would call me back. At 4:30 that afternoon I called back because I had not heard anything back at all. At that time he told me he bid on the car but didn’t get it... I was unhappy I hadn’t received a call back but let it go. There was another similar vehicle that I was interested in the following day on auction. We discussed a bidding price for that vehicle as well. So the next day comes and goes...AGAIN, I hear nothing. Never did hear back from him. Very very disappointed! I work with the public and would never treat a customer that way. Calling someone back is common Courtesy! Buying a car is a big deal and customer service goes a long way. Their loss. I bought a vehicle from another dealer who actually made an effort to help me.
