We moved into this apartment complex in June of 2018 and to this point we have had a wonderful experience. Melissa in the office is always pleasant and helpful. Our air conditioner stopped working properly and Melissa sent maintenance over withing a couple of hours. The guys did a fantastic job! They diagnosed and corrected the problem and even came by the next day to follow up and touch up their work. Thank you for taking such great care of our family!
The good:The area feels very safe. The apartments are very affordable. My boyfriend and I have a one bedroom. The water heater is excellent. Ive never had a cold shower. The closet for the master bedroom is huge! I love it. The apartment is surprisingly large for the price. Management is pretty good. Theyre pretty honest and try to work with you when theres an issue. The head landlord is very approachable and helpful. There are a lot of kids that play outside, so if you have kids, this is a great place for them to make some friends. Its kinda annoying that theyre always playing in the parking lot. They dont move out of the way when youre driving so thats frustrating, but at least theyre outside getting some exercise. The bad:The worst part about this place is that the walls are paper thin. We can hear the people below us as if theyre in the next room. The common hall enterence always smells like weed and cigarettes, which is nauseating. Since the building is on the older side, the windows are terrible. The panels are pretty messed up, so our electric bill is always outrageous. Its very difficult to keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter.Overall, its a great place for starting out. The location is excellent because its super close to the highway and The Greene. I recommend living here.
I used to love living here. We moved in March 2016. The office staff was always super nice and understanding and maintenance was always timely and actually fixed the problems that needed addressed. Im not sure what has changed in this last year but this place is horrible now. The office manager is rude and condescending. She doesnt do her job yet harasses and attempts to embarrass tenants. We wanted to move out in the fall and she refused to fill out the paperwork the prospective landlord required and send it to them. I had to go pick it up from the office myself since she wouldnt fax it and she wrote hasnt given sufficient notice to vacate on the paperwork. We hadnt given notice because we hadnt been approved for the new house yet. Our basement was flooding from the main level bathroom toilet breaking and overflowing and no one would answer the office phone. I had to send my 9 year old running over there to get their attention. Then I waited at my door for maintenance and watched him leisurely stroll over to our townhouse. The way this place is run is absolutely appalling. I cannot wait to move.
Ive lived here for 6 years. Personally only have issues with neighbors taking my parking space and as soon as I told Carry it was taken care of. The complex can not control rude neighbors, but they do their best. Safe place, the pool is great for the kids in the summer.
I lived here for 2 years and had a very good experience. Carrie is approachable and very understanding if you are ever late on rent. I never had an issue with repairs not getting done. Only reason we moved was because we wanted a townhome and didn’t income qualify anymore so had to go somewhere a little cheaper, but I miss it there.
Lived here in a two-bedroom apartment with my wife and son for three years. Outside of old kitchen appliances, our experience with the management and staff were impeccable. Pool and common areas need some extra TLC, but they were always serviceable. Just moved out last month; the process couldnt have been more painless.
My Dad used to live there in townhouse back around in the 70s to 96 and decided to move out due to negligence on the landlords and maintenance men part. He got injured twice while living there, fell and twisted his ankle on ice at the front door. They didnt maintain the front door area and sidewalk free of ice and snow. Also, the ceiling in living room area had shown water leak from the upstairs bathroom and the maintenance man didnt do a good job of fixing the water damage area. Smelled of mold and mildew. He got fed up and moved out. I wouldnt recommend this location at all. Plus they needed update on getting new Windows and patio door to seal the cold/hot air out. Dont waste your time and energy on this place, they are unreasonable and horrible.
The worst. About 6 months into my lease, my ceiling of my townhouse started leaking upstairs in the bathroom, the closet, the master bedroom. It was dripping through the paint, light fixtures, light switches. I made multiple complaints and nothing was being done. They claimed someone would come out but when it rained again it would leak. Started to smell awful of mildew and mold. I ended up calling the city inspector who came out and violated the complex and listed the place as a fire hazard. Luckily they FINALLY let me out of my lease after giving me an attitude for having to go to the city to complain. It was a nightmare for about 2 months. Maintenance was not good at all and basically used a band aid approach to fixing things. On top of the leaking, we had mice in our townhouse which i never experience before until living there. The whole complex needs a complete update. They are very ran down.
Only put a star because I had too. My boyfriend moved in here back in July, I stay occasionally. A few days after him moving in I went down to the pool, a guy approached me and asked me what apartment I was staying in and pulled up the paperwork for the people on the lease, I told him I had not been out on because I stay a few days a week not full time. He said that was cool and went along his day. A couple of days later I go back and a black woman approached me with the same thing. I explained the same thing as I did to the man and she said because I wasn’t on the lease I had to leave, okay that’s fine. I get out of be pool and I’m sitting down, drying off and getting my stuff together and she approached me again not even 2 minutes later and was very very rude. That’s just the start. In November/December our ceiling had started to leak. Over our bed, which turned the ceiling brown and the light fixture in the hallway was FULL of water, which is a fire hazard. I had called the office and the First Lady I spoke too was genuinely concerned and I explained to her I was not on the lease and my boyfriend works over 100+ hours a week so I would give them a call. We have a dog so of course I’m over checking to make sure things are okay. The lady I spoke with said they were sending roofers out so I called off of work waiting for them to come. They never showed up. So I called again and got Carrie. She was EXTREMELY rude. I told her I wasn’t on the lease, my boyfriend work 100+ hours a week and she kept interrupting me saying “I can’t speak to you I can’t speak to you” at which point I hung up. I got ahold of the OWNER of the complex and he was even MORE rude and hateful and interrupting everything I tried to explain. To this day, the maintenance took out the light in our hallway leaving a giant hole because one thing they were NOT was gentle. The hole is still there, and the ceiling in our bedroom has not been fixed. There are always cops parading around here shining spot lights in people’s alartments, ambulances and fire trucks here all the time, and every time anyone I know suggests moving here I steer them in a complete different direction. DO NOT MOVE TO BEAVER RIDGE RUN. The people are lazy, and rude and just down right awful.
Dont waste your money living here, way overpriced for apartments and townhouses that ALL have ceilings that are caving in. over half of the outlets in our townhouse dont work, our dishwasher falls out of the wall socket constantly, the kitchen leaks from the upstairs bathroom, and on top of everything living here in the winter is like living in an icebox. spent more money on paying to keep the place warm than rent
Love the place. This place is a little out dated but the location is great. Your about 10mins ,at most, from almost everything and the prices are very cheap for the area its located in. Melissa in the front office is so kind and helpful about everything. She really makes this place that much better. So dont listen to the bad reviews. This place has a lot to offer for very cheap. Plan on living here for years to come.
This place is an awful place to live. During my whole tenancy my kitchen ceiling leaked from the upstairs bathroom. Kitchen started to smell of meldew and everything. Called and called Carrie the leasing agent and she would never help. I was continuously told it was my fault because we werent taking care of water leaking out of the shower that fell through a hole in the floor behind the toilet... Which also wasnt taken care of. Terrible customer service and awful maitnence. Do NOT move in here and waste your hard earned money on these trash apartments.
The only reason I give them a star is because you have to. This places staff are completely useless when you need help with ANYTHING! The laundry facility is crap, maintenance either takes forever or says they cant fix it, and the office staff seem to say sorry I cant help you way too often. My best advice is try somewhere else.
My fiancé and I just recently moved here two months ago and this apartment is luxurious. The staff here are very friendly.Especially Melissa,She was happy to answer any questions or concerns we had.The renovation just give positive and cozy vibes. There is a private pool for residence and a beautiful quiet nearby park that has a playground, tennis courts, and a baseball field.Super convenient especially if you have children. If only there were an option to give five stars, we would!10/10Thank you Melissa for working with me and my family. We are happy that we found a place to call HOME 🏡

2022-02-19It was great living here until the past couple months. Before I moved in last year the basement was already leaking and was told it would be fixed, and it still has yet to be fixed. Basement leaks/floods almost everyday. Now the celings are leaking and dripping and ruining my bed and mattress. I have contacted the office and they came over to look at it but nothing since. Its just a headache..The walls have holes in them now and a lot of walls are cracking all the way down. For paying $1400 a month with all these issues is not right at all. The issues need fixed immediately! Other than that I love the location and the townhouse. I just think when they redid the units they rushed and did not do the job correctly because this should not be happening after a year of living in them.

2022-07-05Good luck if you run into any issues with your apartment (which you will). Management fails to communicate on issues or ghosts you. These brand new apartments were shoddily constructed and though they claim they were completely rebuilt, they are not. My ceiling has been leaking for a year (once caving in and I was unable to use one of my bedrooms for a month). My AC was out for three months in the spring. Their pool is crumbling and a safety hazard. There is no “fitness center”.Stay away.

2022-05-27Didn’t have a problem here till some other tenants moved out and now we have mice in our unit. Have caught two already. Maintenance still has not came by to fix or fill any holes they are slow to respond for a request. A struggle with staffing.

2021-05-04TLDR; Questionable reviews, maintenance slow to respond, resident dogs often not on leashes and rarely have poo scooped.First, I question the validity of a lot of the more recent reviews. The complex is quite small, and I find it hard to believe this high a percentage of residents wrote that many reviews, especially such positive reviews based on my conversations with neighbors. You’ll notice some 5 star reviews come from users that have given all properties managed by Towne Properties 5 stars — I assume other employees of the management group.I have been a resident for 6 months as of writing this review. My chief complaints lie in maintenance. In every maintenance request I have placed, I’ve had to make a minimum of two requests for each problem before actually addressed. A lot of them were pretty big issues (no AC, rodent sounds from the attic, no smoke detectors for 4 months). Obviously there is a ton of construction going on in the complex and Maintenance seems to be involved with the projects so I understand being overwhelmed, but has been a problem. I had been back and forth about AC for over 60 days waiting for maintenance to schedule a visit. When they finally came, he literally walked in touched a vent and said nothing could be done. This could have been a phone call two months prior.Speaking of construction, i was made to believe more was done than actually is the case, but it hasn’t been extremely intrusive to me personally. I was told there would be a fitness center prior to my move-in date, though this still hasn’t come to be. I will say the units look pretty inside, but the quality of the work isn’t wonderful. When first moving in, there was no railing on my second story balcony, no smoke detectors, plumbing seemingly installed backwards, and there were numerous nails sticking out of the carpeting on the stairs.Outside the units, most residents have dogs, many do not keep them on leashes and you’ll see dog feces all over the complex (including sidewalks). There is language in the lease to restrict this, but it does not appear to be enforced. While I hear barely any noise from next door neighbors, you do hear a lot of barking from the street level. In the winter, the complex has sidewalks shoveled, but the parking lot does not get taken care of. There were multiple instances where residents in one side of the complex were unable to get some cars out of the complex for multiple days after some fairly moderate snow. While not a bad part of town, there were a string of car break ins within the complex. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. Overall, for 1,600 square feet I only pay about $1,200 a month as I locked in my lease on a construction special. Today the same units are renting for about $1,400 —while still a good value overall, I would still not recommend this complex to a friend.

2020-11-09Im perfectly happy living here, except for the absolute nightmare of getting any maintenence work done. It took a full year for me to get a functioning oven. My A/C went out near the end of summer, was never repaired, and now theyve taken so long that it just cant be fixed this year. I live on the second floor, and my apartment is 75+ degrees every night.I havent had a bathroom sink in months because somehow they knocked out the pipes while working on the complex. All of these issues take dozens of phone calls to address, and my calls frequently go unreturned- even if we agree to a particular callback time. They seem like perfectly nice people, but I didnt know I was signing up for a part-time job trying to get basic amenities. Nor do I appreciate having my rent increased before basic maintenence work is completed.

2019-08-09Please ignore the other reviews!!! This place is really great, the apartments are nice. The atmosphere is great it’s quiet here as well. Mellissa in the office is wonderful! She’s very nice and always is willing to help. I’ve never had an issue with anyone in the office being rude so I’m not sure what that is about. Maintenance is quick to fix any problems you might have. Yes the apartments are a little outdated but I don’t see that as a problem since you get a lot for you money. I don’t think you could find anything better for the money and the area! I love it here. Moving from a 1 bedroom to a townhome and plan to stay there for at least a few more years! Been here for 2 already and can’t complain :)
