My husband hadn’t closed the top of the boxes he packed in one room so they cancelled on me. This after arriving at 9:20 when they said they would be here between 8:30 & 9 and no call or apology made. 😏 All worked out though because Two Men & a Truck were able to get here 2 hours later and it was cheaper! 😃
Tony and the guys were very professional, fast and to the point. These guys were great, very understanding to our needs and all of them took the time to say hi to our 16 month old son. I would definitely recommend This company. They took this job at the last second because our other moving company canceled on us. I would definitely 100% use this company the next time I move.I said I would use this company again and I did. We found a new home in less than a year later. Tony and the guys moved us again in April ‘22 and the job they did was excellent! Nothing is ever damaged and everything is handled with care. A company is only as good as their leader and they have a great one!
1.Let me start by saying, if you are moving anywhere in/around/out of the tri-state and want to hire help, look for ANYONE ELSE but “A Smooth Move” to help you. I am only leaving 1 star because 0 is not an option. Let me explain…2.The beginning of my experience with this company was great. Tony was prompt, fair, and inspired great confidence in the service his company would deliver. Then the movers showed up…3.We rented a moving truck ahead of time but were advised by the movers we would need a larger truck to fit all our items, and I accept full responsibility for that. Likewise, I completely understand and respect that movers need to be compensated for the time they spend at your property, so it did not bother me to pay them for the ~ 1 hour it took to sort out the truck exchange. However it did bother me when I returned with the truck and discovered they had disappeared to go “get coffee and breakfast,” for over an hour, INSTEAD of performing useful and time-saving activities like wrapping up the furniture in our living room and/or moving things to the garage to literally begin the moving process. Professional movers should not need to be told to make the most of their paid time; especially not for activities that will help them get done with a job as efficiently as possible. I had to call the owner to track down the crew and get them to return and start their work.4.Next, we requested and advised several times that we needed the truck to be packed first with items going to our storage unit, then with items going directly to our new house so that they would be available for us first-thing off the truck when unloading. As you can see in the first photo, it took us unloading the truck to the middle to reach the “house” items (image 001).5.Prior to the movers coming, we had purchased several items for the move including tie-downs, quilted moving blankets and moving pads. We instructed the crew to wrap our furniture in the quilted moving pads FIRST, then use the less protective/standard pads. Despite this, there were 12 brand-new, quilted moving blankets NOT used at the end of the packing to wrap our most delicate furniture. As a result, many of our items were left unwrapped, were carelessly thrown into the truck, and were damaged. Several specific examples follow with images:a.Our newborn’s nightstand was unwrapped and placed beside our treadmill, which left a large gouge in the wood and grease stain (images 002a-c):b.We provided mattress bags for all mattresses and box springs that were not properly fit nor sealed before loading the truck (we had to fix this in storage and there was PLENTY of room for each mattress/box-spring in each bag), resulting in damaged/stained mattresses (images 003a-c):c.While unpacking it was also clear that the movers were USING OUR ITEMS TO STAND ON – given the evident footprints all over our storage tubs (see image). Please note, we had a stepstool and stepladder sitting out in plain view that could have been used if requested. As a result, several of these tubs were broken when unpacking (they were pristine prior to the movers’ treatment). See images 004a-e:d.A bedroom nightstand was left unwrapped AND had several items stacked on top of it (image 005):e.Our space heater was not wrapped AND placed on a box that it damaged (this box was clearly labeled to NOT have anything stacked on top of it). See images 006a-b:f.Heavy boxes were thrown on top of our baby furniture (which was also not wrapped despite having 12 brand-new, quilted moving blankets available). See images 007a-b:g.Also, our newborn’s crib, which was brand-new prior to the movers’ treatment, was also left unwrapped and suffered multiple points of damage. See images 008a-g:h.Other items include damaged TV Trays; stained ottoman; and damage to the rented truck – ALL despite having 12 brand-new, quilted moving blankets available (images 009a-c):6.Therefore, if you value your time, money, and belongings, I advise against even calling “A Smooth Move” – let alone hiring them.
Tony and his crew were wonderful! They had a job cancel so they were able to bring extra guys to help. They got us out of our old house and completely into the new house in under four hours. They were all professional, polite and very hard working. We were definitely impressed and it was worth every penny. They were reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend this company for moving!! It was a Smooth Move indeed!
Smooth Move did such a great job for our move! They took really good care of all of our boxes and furniture items ( including some antiques). Once we got to our new house, they got everything situated right where we wanted it and didnt leave until we were satisfied. They did such a great job and worked so hard we ended up giving each mover a big tip! We would definitely recommend friends and family use this company!
Had such an easy moving experience with these guys. They completed the job before noon, it was such a relief to have it all done. Everything got here in perfect shape and they reassembled the furniture just the way I wanted it. Great job, guys!
We used Smooth Move to go from a townhome to a house and I cannot believe the amazing job they did. From the moment I called and spoke with Tony I got an honest quote with guarantees to do a great and speedy job and they surpassed my every expectation. I have never seen movers be so efficient. They moved me in under the time limit they set for themselves. They were insanely professional and so polite. All of my belongings and furniture were treated with care. Amazing crew. 10/10 highly recommend and will 100% only use Smooth Move for future moves. If you want the perfect moving experience, you defiantly need to hire Smooth Move.

Tony was my point of contact through the day of the move and was very easy to work with. His team of guys were both professional and quick to jump in and start the process. Tony and the crew at Smooth Move Relocation Services were amazing! Super courteous, very fair, competitive, and honest pricing, prompt fast and quick! I had an out of state move that could not have gone more smoothly (no pun intended!). Tony came by a couple weeks ahead to check the moving items, his crew quickly loaded everything up on the day of the move and arrive on time in the new location. Very fast, and also just really kind and courteous. I’ve used two other big movers in the Tri-State Ohio/Cincinnati region and Smooth Move was by far the best and most reliable, with no hidden fees. 100% recommended.

We had a crew of 5 who moved our 3 bedroom house full of furniture to our new home (about 20 minutes away). They had everything carefully and skillfully packed into a 26 truck, utilizing every square inch within in 90 minutes! Then the unload went even faster! Every single mover was polite, took care of our belongings, and were careful to protect our homes. We will certainly use them any time we need moving services in the future. We used Smooth Move to help us move a piano. They came through for us last minute when our original plan fell through. They were inexpensive, great communicators, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them and will use them again the next time we need moving help.

Five guys came to our 3-bedroom house yesterday, filled a 26 truck, moved it to our new house, and unloaded it in exactly three hours. Tony and his crew were very polite and professional, and checked in with us regularly to make sure they were taking care of everything my wife and I needed. We couldnt have been more impressed and pleased with the service we received. We will be sure to recommend to everyone we know who needs a moving company, and the next time we need movers theres only one place we will call. Working with Tony and Smooth Move was wonderful. They came out early to assess how much stuff I had to get the right sized truck, they confirmed timing with me early. There was no down payment, and the price was reasonable! They ran a big team, which meant moving in and out happened in record time! Would highly recommend.
Tony and his 3 guys were INCREDIBLE! I cannot rave about them enough! They hustled the entire time but still took care of every piece of furniture we had them moving. They shrink wrapped, taped, and padded all our items. The 3 young guys worked together so well and had great, positive attitudes and were super friendly and VERY polite. Tony took care of loading and unloading the truck and keeping all the guys informed. Great work ethic and quality all around! They showed up early, got done early and it was a very pleasant experience!
These guys were great! Very professional (semi-pro as one young guy told me)! They were very communicative, showed up on time, and finished in less time than they quoted! Smooth Move was very quick, efficient, and careful with our move. They arrived a few minutes early and got started right away, even while we still reviewed our paperwork. They handled our furniture well and moved everything quickly but carefully. They helped us keep the moving time short and the guys were really friendly. We strongly recommend them and we would definitely use them again.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Tony and this company. The team was on time, curious and very efficient. They sent a team of movers, not just two people. I worked with Tony at a Smooth Move to schedule a team to move me from a 3bdrm third floor apartment to a 4bdrm trilevel house. He was quick to respond to my inquiries and the price was unbeatable.On move day, a team of seven guys arrived on time and immediately got to work without a single complaint about the numerous flights of stairs. They were all extremely professional, courteous and hard working. They wrapped up the furniture when needed and used pads to protect the items on the truck. They had the whole apartment loaded up and ready to transport in about an hour. When they arrived at the house, they placed everything where requested and asked multiple times for me to double check and see if I wanted anything arranged differently or needed help putting stuff together. The entire move actually took just shy of two hours.Overall, Im extremely satisfied with Tony and his team. It was definitely worth the price for convenience, time savings and lack of stress; again the movers were great! I would certainly use the company again and recommend them to my family and friends.
Tony was great to fit me in and swing by for a quick, easy estimate - much easier than describing my furniture situation over the phone. The movers Dom and Trey were stellar I couldnt believe how easily they handled everything, especially with a tricky downtown move. Im really glad I went with Smooth Move.

Having grown up a military brat and then serving 21 years on active duty in the military myself after that, I have moved about 15 times with professional moving companies. Smooth Move was by far the best. They arrived perfectly on time, and immediately started quickly and efficiently moving everything out. They are some of the hardest workers Ive ever seen, despite it being an extremely hot day, and at the same time took great care not to damage the goods or the house. Also, everyone was very courteous and professional the whole time. Believe me, all of these things are usually lacking in moving companies. We would definitely use Smooth Move again and will recommend them to anyone we can.
Great team, quick move! Movers arrived on time, made sure they knew everything that needed to be moved, and got to work right away. Didn’t waste any time. They wrapped most of the furniture and was very cautious while moving every piece. Great experience! Tony gave me tips for saving money for the move at the beginning on the phone and even later at the start of the move. The clock did not start ticking until they arrived and did a walk through with me to understand my needs. Everyone was polite, professional, and personable. I had several stops and a lot of furniture to move, but they worked with me and made me feel at ease. I was very impressed—and I do not impress easily!
Smooth Move did awesome job! This by far was the best move I ever had. Tony and his team were courteous, friendly and very professional. I had several things to move including large furniture and a grandfather clock. All items were moved with care. I highly recommend using this company for all of your moving needs.
Tony and his team were excellent. They were prompt, worked hard and fast, but were careful. They were all great communicators and were very polite. My sister used them twice and I used them for my big move. Would use again except were not planning on moving again any time soon!
I have unfortunately had to move, and hire movers, 4 times since the beginning of 2020, and I genuinely wish that Tony and Smooth Move had been my movers every time. Tony was super easy to reach via phone call or text and was very responsive, and even let me reschedule my move from Friday to Thursday on pretty short notice, which was incredibly helpful to me. Whereas the other moving companies I’ve used have only sent 2 men, Tony came along with 4 other movers, which made the move the quickest and easiest one I’ve done so far (less than 2 hours), and therefore also the most affordable, since I was only charged for 2 hours, whereas other moving services have charged me for as many as 5 hours, on top of charging for mileage and other random fees.I will admit I was slightly nervous at first because Smooth Move is smaller and local, and I did not have to make a down payment to reserve my date upfront, but Tony was extremely communicative and confirmed my date and time a few times, so my nervousness went away fast.When I inevitably have to move again I will be calling Tony in a heartbeat. I hate moving, but very honestly, knowing that I will have Tony and Smooth Move there to help me next time, I’m not worried about having to do it again.

Smooth Move did a great job for our local move. They were gentle with the furniture but moved at a quick pace, which we appreciated. Took apart both beds and put them back together with no issues. I felt informed and taken care of throughout the process.FYI- if you’d like them to wear masks you have to request it prior to your move date. I did not know this- but would also feel bad if they had to wear masks while lifting/carrying heavy items.
The owner said two trucks would be required and would give a “flat rate” for two trucks. I said over the following weeks I’d be downsizing, likely then only needing one truck. He said he’d do a walkthrough then, which would be weeks later — too late to then book a company. So I asked for what I thought was reasonable — a one-truck estimate and a two-truck estimate. He refused. If you’re on the up and up, gotta be willing to “show your work”…
Great experience from start to finish. Tony was responsive and reliable. His crew was very polite and hard working. I have moved multiple times with many large moving companies (planes, United) and this was by far the best crew I have seen. Highly recommend.

A Smooth Move made our moving day easy, they were very careful with all of our belongings and they are very pleasant. They even put my furniture in my new home exactly where I wanted it. I hired A Smooth Move 5 years ago when downsizing from a house to a 3rd floor apartment. I knew this was not any easy move and that I needed professionals. Tonys team did a fantastic job and made the process easy, and at a competitive price too. Ive recommended them several times over the years. Now Im preparing to move again and wouldnt think of looking anywhere else.
What a great team of movers. These guys show up at 5 after 8 when scheduled for 8:30, and their attitudes were terrific! We didnt have a HUGE move, but did have a few rather large and unwieldy items. The 3 men they sent were courteous, hard working, and totally professional. They got all of our work done in less time than I wouldve expected, they took excellent care of all of our items, and the price was absolutely right.
These guys were great. If you read these reviews you will see they regularly come in under their quoted time and this was no exception. Tony was good to work with, and his crew worked hard and fast. We had just had the whole house repainted and I have yet to find a place where they hit our walls. Cant beat it!
I used Smooth Move today for the first time. They were very efficient, quick and fast. They are extremely reasonable in price and very respectful of you and your belongings. They keep in contact with you and returned my calls and texts right away and answered any questions that I had. In the future for all my moves I will use them and I highly recommend them to anyone that’s moving!

My wife and I recently assisted our daughter in moving to a new apartment. She could not have made a better selection of moving companies than Smooth Move Relocation Services. The work crew was prompt, courteous, efficient and very careful in their handling of the items they were asked to move. Their combination of professional service with a personal touch took all of the stress out of a very hectic day. They certainly earned our admiration, appreciation, and highest possible recommendation.
My wife and I have moved nine times in the last 11 years and these were, by far, the best, most responsive movers we’ve ever used. Highly recommend if you want your move done with the least amount of headache possible.
The team showed up on time despite numerous detours that had just went up that day. They worked very hard to make sure my furniture was wrapped and carefully packed. I was shocked they were able to load all furniture and boxes as quickly as they did. Everything was set back up in the appropriate room. Please give them the business. You won’t be sorry. We used this company to move across town and had a very poor experience. They did not pack the truck to the ceiling - there were several feet of head space all the way through - and as a result, they could not fit everything in. We were left with several car loads in our garage to go back for. They also charged me more than agreed for a piano move, even though wed discussed all the particulars of the route out of the house when I booked service. Finally, we discovered after they left that pieces of the steps up to the front door were torn off, several pieces of furniture were nicked, and they left deep scratches in railings at the house we left and the house we moved to. I contacted Tony, the owner, about these issues and received no response. Very upset and would not recommend.Edit: I tipped each worker $20 at the end of service, for a total of $100 cash. Please see the owners response below. This is a good example of what its been like to work with this company.Ive never left a negative company review before, but dont want anyone else to have such a bad moving experience.
I was blessed to have more than the 4 guys quoted by Tony due to training for new guys. These guys were quick, efficient and handled my items with superior care. I will definitely be using them for any future moves and recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a quality moving company!
We are so happy with having Smooth Move relocation Service move us today. They were all 100 percent professional, handle everything with care. All of them were very polite and worked from the second they got there to the very end. They all worked very hard and no one complained about anything even in this heat. We were both so impressed with the entire move. We are using Smooth Move to move from our storages unit to our barn and also from our house to our apartment. Then when our house done we will be calling them again to move us again. We would recommend Smooth Move 100 percent.
Really nice and professional movers. Handled my items with care and were able to help right away. It was a really easy move. They charged me the two hour minimum. Other company’s gave me quotes that were through the roof for no reason other than trying to take advantage. They did not do that. Thankful for their assistance, professionalism and transparency. I would use them again for sure!!
Dominic and his team were punctual, professional, responsive and transparent about their pricing. They accommodated a last minute change in the moving address. I will definitely recommend them to others. Five stars for their courtesy, professionalism and service.
Amazing moving experience! Tony and his guys were friendly, thorough, and careful with all of our things. They packed and moved our whole house and we couldn’t have done it without them. Weve moved multiple times over the last couple of years and A Smooth Move was one of the best experiences we have had. The team was punctual, professional, polite, and efficient. Our move was completed earlier than anticipated, and for that we were very grateful. To their credit they also overcame challenges with moving some of our larger furniture, and also handled our smaller items with great care. We highly recommend Tony and his crew for any moving needs you may have.
Tony and his crew were amazing. It was the least stressful part of our move. I spoke with Tony the owner directly through the whole thing, and he was onsite for the move as well. The crew showed up to the job early, were incredibly efficient and VERY professional, and did not damage anything in either house. The whole move was done in 3 hours (disassembly /reassembly included), and very reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.
Do yourself a favor, stop looking for movers and call A Smooth Move! The team did a fantastic job. All 4 guys were very friendly and professional. My husband was skeptical about hiring movers and made the comment multiple times how glad he was we used them. They were very efficent and worked very hard. Highly recommend!!
I called smooth move looking for relocation service with only a week notice. I spoke to Tony on the phone who was very helpful and professional. The crew showed up on time to move, they were very kind, professional, hard working and efficient men. It was a very affordable move and we would definitely recommend them to family and friends!!
This company was recommended to us from friends that used them about a year ago and we could not be happier! The moving crew was very efficient and got all the big furniture and other items moved from our old 4 bedroom home to our new home in under 3 hours. The 4 man crew made sure all items were placed where I needed/wanted and they even helped me reassemble a sectional couch as I’m 8 months pregnant and could only do so much. I have no complaints about this company and would recommend them to anyone who is moving!
Great experience with Smooth Move. Showed up exactly on time, moved all my belongings from my old apartment to the new one in under two hours. All the movers were very polite and helpful. Price is great and super convenient. I would highly recommend using them and I will be using them in future moves.
Wow! I called many movers to get quotes about our cross town move and by far Tony was the best and easiest to work with. His team (4 guys) arrived at my home and immediatly got to work. They wrapped every piece of furniture and took great care moving each piece. They had our whole house moved into the truck in under 2 hours. We have a very old grandfather clock they we were concerned would get damaged in the move. The movers advised we remove the weights and the Pendulum to ensure nothing would be damaged. It was taken off the truck first an moved into our new home and it is perfect. I highly recommend Tony and his guys!
Tony and his team of young men handled a move from my former home to a storage location and then a few months later from the storage location to our newly built home. Not only were they punctual on both occasions but they moved efficiently and with respect to both homes, my family and myself, and our belongings. They communicated in both a professional and timely manner throughout both moves and I could not have been happier with the entire process. They were truly worth every penny and I would recommend them to anyone looking for moving services.

Tony and his 3 man crew just moved us into our new home. We were very impressed with how cautiously and smoothly they worked together. Very nice men-polite, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, and organized. They went above and beyond what we were expecting out of movers.Tonys quote was spot on. We live in Indiana and that wasnt a problem for them. The guys only took 2 breaks the entire 5 hours they moved us-1 for a drink and 1 for lunch (I made them stop to eat some lunch!). I would definitely recommend A Smooth Move to anyone needing to move. Their rates are very reasonable-the best rates I found after 3 other quotes from different Cincinnati area movers.We had a very heavy and large gun safe to move in a hard to get to location. We hired Smooth Move for our move back in March and they were great! Everyone that was there was extremely respectful of our furniture and the time limit that we put them to. They moved our entire apartment into our house in less than 2 hours. We will recommend them to any of our friends that are looking to move.

This was an awesome experience! I scheduled the move from OH to NKY in short notice (a week) and they were MORE than accommodating. The communication from the beginning through the end of the transaction was superb. The gentleman that moved my belongings took great care and were the definition of efficient.

Tony sent out Jake and Dominic to move two glass cabinets from my basement to a first floor back room. They were very polite and worked very efficiently!! I can’t thank Tony and his crew for the fabulous service they provided our family. My mother lives in assisted living and had to be moved to a smaller unit after a stroke. Tony helped us coordinate a move to the new unit, and the balance of the furniture was moved to two different locations, one locally and one out of town.Smooth Move gave us the best price, was very responsive to our questions and followup and showed up on time and executed the moves flawlessly. Our family heirlooms were well protected and the professional manner in which the Smooth Move’s employees conducted themselves was very impressive.I will definitely be using them in the future. I called Tony about two weeks before my move, and though his schedule was filled, he said that he could accommodate my request to unload two large pieces of furniture from a moving truck, noting that I had some flexibility on the time. The day of the move, he texted me to confirm his arrival time, and when it had to shift slightly, he kept me updated.There had been a downpour all day, and I was concerned how the movers would get these heavy pieces down a slippery, grassy hill, but by the time I had unlocked the basement door, the two young men with him (Dominic and Ty—very kind and respectful) already had the first piece down. The entire move took about 10 minutes, and they were very respectful of my carpeting (they stayed in the areas where I had put down blankets to protect it from the mud) and my home.
A Smooth Move was a wonderful company, I would recommend them and use them again. They were punctual, affordable and beyond helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our move was as easy as possible. Not to mention their prices were so affordable for a middle class family. These guys did an awesome job and would HIGHLY recommend. I called them last minute on a Saturday to help me move on a Sunday after another moving company failed to show up. They were very efficient and positive- even though they moved me from a 3rd story apt with very old, steep stairs! I had two experiences with A Smooth Move. We donated our piano to our church, and Tony moved it for only $200 because he likes to help people. They moved it down some very tight stairs. We were so impressed, that we used them to move us a couple of months later from our old home to a new condo. We had to reschedule several times, and Tony was very understanding. Tony and his other 3 crew members were extremely polite and very careful not to damage the newly painted walls or the wood floors. The move took 10 hours involving large furniture and refrigerator and washer and dryer hookups. I highly recommend this company.
Awesome team! Tony was nice enough to come out to my home to give me an estimate for my move. The day of the move, he and his team arrived on time with two trucks (large house) to ensure everything was completed timely and in one trip, which it was. I was a little nervous, being that I was moving into new construction and had some really heavy pieces (extremely heavy king headboard and frame, washer/dryer, etc.), but the team made sure they were very careful not to damage my new walls, or my furniture. They were friendly and knowledgeable about how to wrap furniture and situate it on the truck without damaging anything. I attempted to pack my 60tv, but the screws were stripped. Tony offered to get the screws out so that it could go in the box, but when we couldnt, they strapped it inside of the truck securely and w/o damage. Moving can be scary, but Tonys team made me feel at ease. Oh, and they loaded and unloaded in record time, compared to my move the year before from out of state. :) I would definitely use them again. Affordable and Efficient.
Had to pick up furniture at Costco, a crew of three met up with me there for pick up. Crew was careful with everything and once in my apartment they all wore masks which I appreciate it. For a last minute call they were able to help same day of request. Would definitely use them again and recommend.
Even though I called late to move everything out of my office building into storage, A Smooth Move was responsive and accommodated my schedule. Tony and his crew showed up right on time and worked efficiently to load the truck and unload at the storage facility. They even came back the next day after completing another job because they knew I was going to have to move additional boxes to storage (after I finished packing them). There was no damage to furniture or the office building. I highly recommend A Smooth Move.
I recently used Smooth Move moving company for the second time.The guys were very professional and helpful every step of the way. They were very patient and careful as I had lots of steps in both apartments moving to and from the owner also provided us with plenty of help I was moved in and out in under 3 hours along with furniture that needed to be re-assembled I would definitely use this company again for a move.

The team did a great job. They showed up exactly on time .The staff was courteous and worked hard and continuously . They were careful and protected all of my belongings. They put all beds back together and moved large items like treadmills and air hockey tables expertly.I highly recommend this group of movers.

We had everything boxed and ready to go and they moved my 2 bed apartment in probably 20 minutes, including the mattress and reclining sofa. Im super impressed with these guys. I purchased 2 dressers from a friend who lives 5 blocks away and needed them moved to my house. I called one big-name company. Their hourly rate was high, they were going to charge me a minimum of 2 hours, and wanted to charge an extra $65 because the move was to take place in the evening. This would have been way more than I paid for the furniture!! A friend recommended A Smooth Move. Gave Them a call and received a quote right over the phone and they were able to move me the furniture on the date I requested. Tony and crew were very prompt, professional and friendly. The furniture was big and bulky and hard to maneuver up the stairs of an old home in Westwood. They wrapped the furniture, protected any walls or floors that could be scratch and did a fantastic job moving the very large and heavy dressers up and down the stairs. Between the crew we had of Dominic, Keith, John & Zack we had our over 3000 Sq. Ft. Medical Office loaded and unloaded (Desks, Lobby Furniture, Heavy Equipment) all in just under 3 hours in sleeting rain without a single piece, doorway or wall damaged. It was easy to coordinate with Tony on the quote and for scheduling. When the crew showed up they were punctual, polite and lived up to the company name. Would highly recommend!

A Smooth Move , just did a move for us. With the Covid 19 pandemic , we were not able to leave the state to move our daughter. What a refreshing smooth move did we have with this company! No pun intended, they live up to the name of their company! Left a message and received a call back in about 5 minutes. I was told they could handle the job and sent me an email solidifying time, date and service agreement. They showed up on time with 5 energetic, polite and experienced guys and went to work. They put shrinkwrap on our furniture and out the door with nary a bump to a wall. Delivered our stuff just as carefully and just went the extra mile! I just had a piano we bought moved by Smooth Move. I didn’t know how much a piano weighed until I got there to pick it up. There was no way my son and I could do it. I called Tony at Smooth Move and set up a time. He kept me informed thru the process of getting it and heading to my house. Once at my once they got the piano to our second floor. Very friendly, professional, and they know what there doing. Made it look easy. I would differently use the again.
A Smooth Move was a great service. They came to move all of my furniture and the whole team was very professional and efficient. They did request a different time the night before my move, but I was able to accommodate. I am confident that if I had wanted my original time they would have honored it. They were very careful with my furniture and overall it was a very smooth move!
I have used Smooth Move twice now and have been extremely pleased with the job they have done. This last time I had a medical emergency as a tenants refrigerator had stopped working and she uses insulin. Tony met me at Home Depot at about 6:30 at night and delivered it to an upstairs apartment through a very tight stair case with two sharp turns. He also took the old one down and disposed of it. Tony and his helper did an outstanding job including the fact that it was after hours.

I just had an outstanding experience with Smooth Move. First of all Tony was very accommodating when my closing was delayed three times and he let me change my moving date. Then they showed up early. They accommodated me when I ran out of packing tape they were quick and courteous and did a wonderful job. Tony is quite the drill sergeant. They had my 2000 square-foot apartment emptied out in about an hour and a half loaded on the truck went to the new place unloaded it all on the hottest most humid day so far this year. Course I was glad they showed up because it was hot and humid.Affordable quick and courteous. My hats off to these guys I could not have done it without them.Also they went above and beyond. The front porch railing was keeping my couch from getting in the living room. And I desperately needed my 2 ton couch in my living room. No sweat. Tony went to his car got his tools came back remove the railing. The guys got the couch in the living room and Tony replace the railing . Thanks guys. Great work!

They were prompt, professional, and all were hard workers! Great price and worked non stop till the move was done. They took great care of all our furniture and nothing was damaged in any way. They even unloaded our cars that we packed the night before. I called them last minute for a move on black friday and they found a way to move us! Thank you so much for a fast great move!

Easily the best movers Ive ever worked with. Everyone on the team knows each other and because of that, you get movers that know how to maximize the use of their time. Tony moved us in just a few hours and did a great job! He did such a great job I recommended him to my grandparents that moved from a house theyd lived in for 50 plus years! They had a bunch of stuff and had several flights of narrow steps and they were able to get them moved in a reasonable time and price! If my 87 year old grandpa didnt have any complaints, you know theyre good!
Tony and his crew just moved both me and a new roommate coming from the other side of town into one apartment on Friday. Before choosing them, I had read through many of these highly positive reviews, and now that Ive seen them at work, the easy--and accurate-- thing would be just to say ditto, ditto, ditto, ditto, ditto... I cant disagree with a single good thing said about them! However, there were some special circumstances that deserve recognition, starting with the fact that I was far from ready when moving day came. I am a tribal elder with a partial disability, and I had lived in my apartment for 25 years. As I tried to pack, it became painfully clear to me that I have never thrown anything away! I was so embarrassed to be so unprepared that I even called the night before to ask for a stay of execution. Tony heard me out, but assured that they could handle it as planned. And they did, without the slightest complaint or criticism! They really went the extra mile, and moved some things they normally wouldnt because they could see the difficulties there would be for me. And they moved like Indy cars! They barely stopped at all except for a well-earned but brief pizza break. And what nice guys they are, not just Tony, the owner, but Kevin, Keith and Ethan, the hard-working, likeable, courteous young men who work for him. My new roommate had the same high praise for how they handled things at his place, and he has dealt with movers many, many times in his life! We had both used Two Men and a Truck in the past, but now I wouldnt even consider using any company but A Smooth Move. I liked the fact that they are a local, smaller company, and I have to say we got the hometown Cincinnati treatment! Thanks to all of you again, Tony and crew! We will spread the word!!

-moved all of our boxes and furniture in 3 hrs. Only moved 2 miles down the road but there were about 120 boxes and bedroom/living room/office/laundry room furniture.-more expensive per hour, then comparable quotes but came with the most movers. I thought this would be faster and that seemed to work.-Owner is picky about things being done right, which we really appreciate. Even the suitcases were picked up instead of rolled on the street.

Tony and his team arrived early and wrapped up our move from a 2-bedroom apartment + 5x15 storage unit to a single-family house in about 3.5 hours. They were efficient, courteous and did no apparent damage to our furniture. Tony walked through the house with us to ensure everything was placed correctly. I also was able to walk through the moving truck to ensure that no objects were left behind.
The boys working were very nice. They showed up with no dollies, no straps, nothing to move heavy furniture with. I thought this was a bit odd. They stacked our boxes and containers. My husband had straps and asked them if they would like to use them. They did not. We had several containers busted. They stacked them so high without using straps. When the movers unloaded them, they had difficulty and was a bit dangerous as they were stacked so high and nothing on them to prevent them falling. We were doing a long distance move and using a UPAC trailer. Our dryer was broken. My antique hutch was damaged. I did like the boys who were working but I am not impressed with the owner. I think they should have been more well equipped. I would not use them again.

They were on time, treated us and our possesions, including a Grandfathers clock, with respect and they were a joy to be around. They were adament that my husband and I not help - just direct and they did all the lifting and carrying. They worked hard and watched out for each other. We were very impressed with the way they looked out for each other. Not one item or any part of the house was damaged in any way. We were moving out of a home we lived in for over 20 years and they were understanding of the stress we were feeling. We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone getting ready to move! The are the best!
I moved to Cincinnati about 5 yrs ago and have use A Smooth Move three times now. They are the best movers and would not ever use anyone else. We hired Smooth move to assist with our temporary move and to load furniture and boxes into a Pod for storage. They did a fabulous job and finished the job in short period of time. The guys were hard workers who took pride in their work. We will be moving again into our Condo, and we will be hiring these guys to help us again. Highly satisfied with the job they did.
Tony and his four man crew did an excellent job with our move. Tony called to confirm twice prior to our moving date. He showed up early which was helpful since we had a long day ahead. His guys worked hard, didnt really mess around, and got the job done. I was given a time that it would take and Tonys estimate was right on. Great guys!Communication prior to move was direct and open. When quoted what time they’d arrive, crew was on time and worked at a consistent pace till the job was done! I’ve moved multiple times over the last decade, not only was the crew proof of the company name, but I will be keeping the business card on my refrigerator.ALSO: First time moving that the cost was straight forward and there were no surprises!

These guys were awesome! They showed up a little early and had 5 guys hustling the entire time! They were very careful with our stuff and made sure to ask where everything went! They even helped us put together our sons metal bunk bed for free! Oh, and not to mention they were able to move Ikea furniture in one piece without it breaking! We didnt think anyone would be able to do that since Ikea furniture is made so cheap! The level of professionalism and courteousness was great! We will definitely use A Smooth Move if we need movers again!

2022-02-23I highly recommend Smooth Move for your next move. Tony was very responsive, helpful and answered all of my questions.I had a team of 4 plus one lead. When they first arrived, they did a walk through with me before moving anything which I appreciated. They were professional, quick and did a great job moving my boxes/furniture. They wrapped my furniture in order to protect it before moving and they were cautious around corners as to not scratch my furniture or the walls. Once the truck was packed, the team lead took me through the house again to make sure they got everything needed.The team moved my items to a storage unit and did a nice job of efficiently packing everything. I will definitely be using them again to move me out of the storage unit and into my home once it is ready.

2021-11-29I started my search for a moving company through friends and family but none have had a move experience in many years. So, I turned to Google, which is craziness at best. The reviews are all over the place and so many companies to choose from. I narrowed the search to three companies, and based on price, they were all very similar. Tony with Smooth Move was the only one willing to accommodate our need for day after Thanksgiving, so this was a plus, Tony ( the owner) was very responsive for calls and texts, and he was very clear on the expectations for the move. Based on our move inventory, he recommended a 4 or 6 man crew with the cost difference and estimated hours to move with either choice. We settled on a 5 man crew with one truck. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the move experience. We had never used a moving company before, and I had expected all types of issues based on reviews of ALL moving companies and horror stories from other people. Tony and his team did a fabulous job. We highly recommend Smooth Move.

2022-02-08I will definitely use SMRS again. We moved items to a storage unit and what I loved best is that they did not put the boxes high as I am short. I was very impressed that they were willing to dismantle/set up our beds. The movers were very fast and friendly. We made 4 stops and we were done in a couple of hours.I’ve used other movers and have never had such a great experience as I have with SMRS.
