I had visited when they were still inside Coffee Coffee Coffee in order to get my e-bike repaired, and was very happy with both the quality and price of service. I recently visited their new location to get a few plants, and was very impressed there as well! The space is bright and airy, and I loved the care and pet safety notes available for each plant. Will definitely be back in soon!
This place is amazing. They are so helpful and friendly. Have brought my bike in several times and it was always a great experience. It definitely feels like a good value as well. My new go-to bike shop.
I love this place. Not only were we able to pick up the inner tubes we needed for the two bicycles. They had a large array of plants inside. My Mom bought a spider plant also. Very courteous, friendly, helpful staff. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
The crew at Sixth City Cycles made our spring tune up for our two ebikes unbelievably easy. Dropped them off, gave them a quick run-down of our experience with the bikes and if there were any issues we needed to have them take a closer look at. We got a text when the bikes were done, and both were spotless and felt great on the ride home! Great value and everyone in the shop was welcoming and patient, even when you could tell they must be slammed this time of year.
If i could give a sixth star i would. Berto was an immense help with getting my 80s Univega retrofitted with a pannier rack it lacked mounts for, plus installing coaster brakes and new cables. ordered multiple parts i needed which several other shops didn’t even give me the time of day on, installed them quickly and texted me directly with updates on the process. never made me feel silly for the things i didn’t know about bike repair, which is a great deal. i really respect that. they got my business for as long as i’m a west sider. plus, there’s HOUSEPLANTS!! i 💚 Sixth City.
What a fantasticly unique blend of house plants and bicycles. Theyve always been so helpful with my misc bike builds Ive done over the years, and by far the best bike shop in the Old Brooklyn area. Ive recommended them to my neighbors and all of them have had great experiences as well.

Got my mountain bike done by when they promised! Very professional and tech took time to explain work done. Bike is riding better now then when I first brought it home. Highly recommend!!!
Purchased on line E bike 16 mos ago ,had it delivered to 6th city,so burto could assemble it correctly, not a problem since. All other bike shops wouldn t touch it because(you didn t buy it here} he also fixed my flat tire about 3 mos ago when the shops in my area {western suburbs} wouldn t work on a hub driven e bike. Ari, Mason, and Berto are fantastic! My bicycle has been serviced by all of them, most recently by Ari. My gear shifter was not working from 3 to 2 (now works), overall tune up runs like new (despite suburban cycling shops who agree that my bicycle was beyond repair three years ago).They love bicycles more than I do, and they show you why something may not be working on your bike. Intuitive, treat you like VIP, and make your bicycle new!New location! Love the impressive houseplant collection for sale and new bicycles for sale, too. I will definitely be back. Sixth City Cycles is by far the best bike shop I have ever found. I would recommend this bike shop to anyone. Berto Went far and beyond my expectations. And delivered exactly what I was looking for in work done to my bike and beyond. If I was able to give him a higher than five-star review I would.
I needed 2 tires and 2 tubes which they had on hand. Got me rolling again in less than 10 minutes. The owner was very knowlegable of my bike. Great prices, fast service, very friendly atmosphere! Will be returning when more service is needed, thx Sixth City Cycles!!
My partner and I recently bought bikes (and some plants!) at Sixth City and had an outstanding experience. Neither of us know a ton about bikes and Norberto took the time to explain everything we needed to know in making our decision. He was sincere and kind and I know that will help us out in the future with any issues we may have. He truly made shopping for bikes in the middle of a bike shortage a pleasure.
Bought a refurbished mountain bike. Berto and Nick worked with me to rebuild the bike to my needs. They continue to assist me with accessory additions. If you are just getting into bike riding, a Sixth City refurbished bike would be a good place to start. I am very happy with my bike and will bring in my other bike for service. Highly recommended.
Sixth city cycles has as awesome thing going for them. The shop moved down the road from the old location and it’s incredible. Great layout, and friendly staff. Berto couldn’t have done a finer job putting together my bike (carbon fiber frame gravel bike). He took the time to explain everything to me - got new shoes, new pedals, new bike. Showed me how everything works. Couldn’t be happier with the service and his recommendations.
I came in today after being referred by a coworker. I hadn’t been able to get air in my tires for the life of me. Mason helped me out and got my back together in no time. He was very friendly and super knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them for any repairs or questions you might have.

The past year was tough for all of us. We experienced things and found ourselves in situations we wouldnt have otherwise. Last year we lost my father in law. While cleaning out the garage, we found the bike frame for his old racing bike which he had since my husband was 4 years old! This brought my husband great memories with his Dad and I remembered him saying that he wanted to get it rebuilt one day. This year I wanted to surprise my husband with the rebuilt bike for our anniversary. The day was creeping up on me so fast and before I knew it.....I barely had a week to get this done. Honestly, I contacted/visited 3 other bike shops in Cleveland before I went here. One said, they dont have the parts. Another said it cant be done within the timeframe I had let alone within my budget. The other shop had the parts, but was clearly capitalizing on my situation, and was out to rob me. Finally, I came in to see Berto at Sixth City Cycles. This guy is the Real Deal. He was honest, realistic and reasonable. He promised he would get it done within the timeframe and would work with my budget. Do yourself a favor, dont even waste your time going to other shops. Learn from my mistakes. My GF and I was out riding our bikes when my chain came off. Far from home and no way to fix it, I looked up a bike shop nearby and Sixth City Cycles popped up that was half a mile down the road from where I broke down. We have never heard of this place and did not know that it had a coffee shop in it as well. Pretty cool. Berto fixed my bike and tightened my handlebars and told me what exactly happened to the chain and why it fell off. He was very knowledgeable and answered questions I had. The price he charged was very reasonable. While we waited for the bike to be fixed, we enjoyed a cold coffee beverage. I dont remember what it was called. but it was really good. I would definitely come back.

I am a person who really really cares about customer service and when I get it...I feel that people should be rewarded or recognized in some way. SO THIS IS MY WAY 😊I truly appreciate staff accommodating me despite my scheduling issue and messing up something that they have already fixed. The absolute greatest bike shop. I trust this mechanic to do anything on my mountain bike. Berto just installed my XT rear derailleur and it is tuned like no other.Great peaple, and a very affordable knowledgeable professional to take care of my needs and haveca laugh at the same time.Thank you Sixth City Cycles !!

The bike repair technician Norberto is very professional and very knowledgeable and prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend this bicycle repair shop and a peaceful place to have cup of coffee.
Berto and Mason are excellent at their craft and a great addition to the Old Brooklyn community. I took my cyclocross bike into Sixth City after a derailleur malfunction and received top notch service. My bike has never shifted better and they got me out the door under budget. Beyond this, the sincere interest that Berto and Mason have in their customers sets them apart.They also have some dope, one of a kind, custom bikes for purchase.

Since moving to the area I’ve been taking my bike here and my family and friends, awesome prices super cool staff berto is always friendly and get my bikes up to par in a timely manner, couldn’t ask for a better bike shop in the Cleveland area, and coffee coffee coffee!

Just found this new bike repair shop by my house when I was looking to have my chain replaced. The guys where quick and professional and they served cappuccino and pastries while I waited.
Very friendly and willing to take time to show and explain the options in stock that could work for me and how ways they could uodate my current bike.

Fair prices and the bikes were done in a couple of days. Definitely will recommend anyone needing work done to your bike!!

2022-07-31Really appreciate the work these guys do. They have fair prices, answer any and all questions you might have, and don’t try and upsell you on things you don’t need. We’ve used their services multiple times, from rebuilding a new bike out of a used frame to regular tune-ups each year. Happy to know our gear is in good hands here and also a nice place to grab another house plant or two.

My wide loves the plants and goes all the time for new ones. 5 stars this shop is always clean and sanitized. If you need bike repairs or even a new house plant, this shop is for you!

This is my second year of taking my bike in for a yearly tune up and I won’t ever go anywhere else for repairs. Highly recommend!!

2022-03-08I took my husbands bike here to be fixed up as a Christmas present for him, and I was so impressed! Berto was so helpful and knowledgeable, and he turned around and finished the project WAY sooner than I anticipated. The store was really cool and had a great selection of plants. Definitely a great gem in Old Brooklyn!

2020-10-17Update: Just finally visited their new location & its awesome. Big bright & roomy. Staff is nice and laid back. ....Love to buy plants here! They have these scratch and dent plants that are a little beat up, but they teach how to care for them and bring them back to health which I LOVE. This Snake plant I brought home and replanted and it already has 3 new leaves!

2022-01-18I purchased a single speed bike from them last year and they helped me through the entire process, made suggestions, and ultimately got me back on a bike riding around Cleveland and Lakewood. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are interested in getting a bike for the spring/summer!
