Singh Biryani in other cities:
Delicious! Wanted to try something new. Nice place, clean and staff is friendly. Butter chicken was amazing! We will return.Update 1/28/2022 - So good the 1st time, we went back 2 days later. I tried Paneer for the 1st time (kind of tofu like but made from dairy) it was fabulous. Others in my party ordered shrimp tiki masala and chicken biryani. Both were very good. The staff is very slow to check on you, so be sure to be patient. Still 5 stars as the food outways the service.
My first visit was for lunch on a weekday. Everyone was friendly and polite. We were seated immediately. I ordered chicken tikka masala, samosas, and naan. Who knew there were so many flavors of naan? They ask what spice level you would like. Always a plus for wimpy Americans like me and mine was just right. Our meals were delivered quickly, piping hot, the portions were large and everything was delicious. I had enough leftover for the next days dinner and it was just as delicious as the first day. They have a nice menu selection that includes vegetarian and non vegetarian with chicken, shrimp or lamb. Their menu even mentions mutton and goat for the more adventurous. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be returning. If you like Indian food I highly recommend you stop in and give them a try. They are closed on Mondays and between 3 and 4 daily.
Best still!I have always eaten at their other location in the falls and happened to be passing by and decided to give it a try. Doo impressed at the same great food but even quicker. I think Somosas are ready right away! Thanks for having such great food at a good price!
So happy to have a delicious Indian restaurant right down the road — my friends and I have ordered takeout from here a couple times since they opened and its been perfect every time. the first time around I got the shrimp malai and the tandoori roti, and the second time we all got chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. super flavorful, incredible portions and insanely kind people who work there — we hope they stick around here for a long time!
Ordered the lamb biriyani for pickup on a Friday evening. Order was ready at the agreed time. The Biriyani was hot and tasty and spiced appropriately based on my request. Food quantity was good and the raita that accompanied the Biriyani was also good. The only thing that could have made it better was if there had been a small side of gravy to go with it
Great new spot in Kent! My family loves Indian food and Singh Biryani did not disappoint. Their Tandoori Chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and spiced just right. Samosas were yummy with just the right amount of heat. Chicken Biryani (medium) was delicious but a little too spicy for our taste, mild would probably have been just right. Overall, I will be recommending this place to friends and making it our new favorite take-out spot. :)
Like many others, were excited to finally have a nice Indian restaurant in Kent. Good news! The food is excellent, the portions are big, and the staff is very good as well. Food came out in a very reasonable time.I had the Chicken Biryani (American Hot) and my wife had Butter Chicken (Medium). Both meals were excellent. The spices are authentic and are everything you expect. Next time Ill probably try Indian Hot and see how well I survive. Were definitely going back soon.
Always delicious. My most recent dine in order of biryani came in a metal bowl which felt so upscale! Also glad for improvements to the recipe since there were less loose spice seeds in it. For my latest takeout order, I tried the tandoori chicken and gobi manchurian. Amazing! Especially liked the Manchurian. Reminded me a lot of buffalo wings but vegetarian because its made with cauliflower. Kinda want to try it with sauce on the side next time so it can stay crunchy on the way home. :)
We order takeout here very frequently. Tandoori chicken is always delicious, the Tikka Masala is a great comfort food, and the samosas are one of the best appetizers to be had in Kent. The naan is great too. Have tried many menu items here and haven’t been disappointed, but Tandoori chicken and Tikka Masala are some standouts.
This is okay Indian food. I will not be eating here again. There are way better places to eat Indian food at in the Cleveland area such as Jaipur junction, Saffron Patch, India Garden for traditional restaurant style, and Bombay Chaat or Choolah if you want sort of fast food type Indian. Hope this helps!
Ordered takeout to do a family style meal at home for a group of 8. Everything was delicious, the large order had everything I asked for. The staff there were friendly, attentive and helpful. I love that they have great vegetarian options that are so flavorful you won’t miss the meat. A sign in the store said that everything is halal, which will matter a lot to some. We are so glad Singh Biryani is here!
The food was marvelous, and the staff are so so friendly, except one member did make me feel a little weird. I am a woman and I ate with my male friend. I would ask this male waiter questions, he wouldnt look me in the eye and would look and talk to my friend when he was answering a question I asked him. it made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable. But, I am definitely going back because the food and atmosphere are great otherwise! (Originally posted at the cuyahoga location, here it is fixed as I dined in Kent (: )
Foods a little up there in price, but its well worth it, especially personally as an Indian-American looking for good Indian food in the Kent area. Hindi music playing when you enter, employees of Indian background. It feels great to have that community in the small cities of Ohio.
Its been a while since we had a nice Indian meal, we were pleased with the vegetable appetizer, very nicely prepared and seasoned. Naan bread was perfect. My wife tried the Chicken Soup, a bit spicey for my her taste, but nice flavor. Vegetable Biryani was nice, she opted for mild, but there were some surprises in there. I ordered the Malai Kofta, it was served mild, I forgot to inform our server that I like my spice level where its supposed to be for the cuisine, so it was flavorful, but lacked the punch I know it could have had.It appears to be an old Chinese All You Can Eat joint, the Chinese wall paper is odd in an Indian Restaurant, but it kind of works. The restrooms could use some work, rusted fixtures and just old, but clean.Service was excellent and prompt, our server was always there with a suggestion for drinks or to go containers.I would certainly recommend this establishment for a nice change, tasty food and good service.
Really nice flavors and everything is prepared fresh to order. If youre searching for a punch of flavor in your diet, this is the place to go.Even if you dont like hot, spicy good, you can order mild, and still get huge flavor. I tend to eat it medium, and thats enough for me. For those who breathe fire, hot would likely bring a smile to your face, and sweat to your brow.
We had chicken tandoori, palak paneer, rice. I requested for Indian spice level. Palak was bland. Rice wasn’t cooked properly. Seemed like 70% cooked rice. My friends said the tandoori was good but I spotted blood in the chicken. Taste wise, not a good place to visit.Personnel were very nice to us. Gave suggestions on food items, had face masks and gloves, checked on our experience as well. They were all polite. The place looked clean but there are insects on the table, washroom was exactly how they are maintained in India. Silverware had dirt stains.I tried food at Singh Biryani in cuyahoga falls, I had similar experience. I never went there again(who puts broad beans in veg biryani?)… multi-visit to this branch is a no as well.
One of the finest establishments in Kent. The foods are out of this world delicious. I had Chicken Tandoori and Lamb Biriyani las week and they were perfect. All of my orders were served within reasonable time and I think the cooks and the servers are doing a great job! I would recommend this place to anyone 100%
Ordered take out from this place for the first time. 2 Tandoori mixed grills and 1 chicken tikka marsala.Food was very flavorful and everything was correct on the order, but the tandoori mixed grills were so dry and over cooked, it was hard to eat!! The shrimps were so overcooked they were like shrimp jerky. We are going to try them again but order something different, I really love Indian food and am happy to have a place in Kent.
Ive ordered here maybe 4 or 5 times now (currently putting an order in as we speak) and each time I am met with delightful service and delicious food. The tandoor chicken is amazing, the chicken tikka masala is absolutely incredible, the naan - while a bit pricy, is worth it. Their rice is always cooked so perfectly. Get the Samosas with red chutney every time you go!!If you love Indian food, or want to experience it for the first time, I will proudly and confidently recommend Singh Biryani in Kent!
We had visited the other location in Cuyahoga Falls and were so excited to see a Singh Biryani coming to Kent! Our food was delicious and had large portions, we needed several takeout containers. Bread and rice were served family style, which I like as there are less dishes on the table. We had samosas to start, along with chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, chicken korma, and a kids meal that was labeled chicken pakora, which was chicken nuggets.Prices are definitely higher than fast food, but everything was so fresh and delicious. Everyone in our family enjoyed their food, and we will surely be back!
My evaluation of the hospitality is good, but the quality of the food is not so and the flavors are not good either. The prices are surprisingly high, which does not make it equal to the taste of the food, which I rate as less than acceptable. Through my experience, I needed days to get rid of stomach pain and I will not repeat the experience again.1 star for the hospitality1 star for the nan bread
The host there was really nice when explaining the menu and helped us get what we wanted. The atmosphere was really welcoming and there was good food smells all over the place. Portions were good as we got 2x of butter chicken with nan and some lamb dumplings, which surprised me how good they were. Its a bit on the pricey side, however the food is worth it. Definitely want to try the mango chicken or the Tika masala next! Im so glad to have this place here in kent!! Different spice levels for different tolerances too! Worth noting!
We ordered to go on a Friday night. We ordered the Chili Pakora. It was crispy and spicy! Also ordered the Tandoori Chicken, which was blackened and sticky with spices and peppers. The chicken vindaloo and the lamb vindaloo were spicy, flavorful, and so hot. Don’t order hot unless you like hot food. This is a great addition to Kent. Can’t wait to try something else.
The food was good, but the amount received was not worth the price. I ordered chicken tikka masala and got 7 chicken cubes in sauce in a small plastic container. It was half the size of other places I ordered take out. Again, the food was as I expected it to be, but not a good value for the price.
Worst Egg Rice they could ever make. It just had scrambled eggs and boiled rice. No spices. No salt. I called them to ask about it and the person on the other end doesn’t seem to care about the customer. He told it’s made in kitchen and they don’t know about it. Worst management ever.

2021-10-03The food is delicious and the staff are very kind and courteous. Flavors were very much on point and the spice levels were perfect. Portion sizes were great as well. Overall highly recommend. We had gotten tired of driving out to summit County for Indian food, as our family loves it. Kent finally has a good Indian restaurant.

2021-11-15First time there today, went with the safe option of butter chicken and it was delicious, the spice level was perfect. The samosas were perfectly crispy and had great flavor. My dad got the goat chefs special and he was pleasantly surprised with how much meat he was given. Portions were generous, flavors were great and personal were delightful. Cant wait to come back and try something new! My garlic naan and mango lassi were delightful as well, highly recommend!!Side note- they give you a separate take home box for your meat and rice/ dry foods. Very convenient for later :)

2022-06-15Delicious biryani and tandoori chicken. It’s so hard to find good Indian food in this area and they did it! I’ve been to both India and Pakistan and this food is legit! Thank you Singh!

2022-02-21When started their branch in Kent it was good. Now, day by day food quality and service getting worsen. For example: they gave 5/6 pieces of meat in their mutton or lamb biriani now you will hardly get 2 pieces of meat with bones. In the same way the rice quantity too. The taste is very bad now. That’s so weird. Already they have increased the prices for all menu without any sensible reasons. I will not suggest this restaurant to anyone. It’s totally worthless with your money for quality food and taste. Don’t dump money in this restaurant.

2021-09-02So delighted to have an AMAZING Indian restaurant in Kent! Today was opening day and there was a great turnout. We got takeout: Chana Masala, Paneed Tikka Masala, Samosas and Garlic Naan. All very, very good. We’ll be regulars!

2022-01-21Dining at Singh Biryani was my first taste of authentic Indian cuisine. I’ve bought the jarred sauces at the store and didn’t expect them to compare to the real thing, though I enjoy them. But wow—getting food here was so delightful. Huge chunks of deliciously fresh vegis sautéed perfectly in the dishes we got—chicken tikka masala and chicken Biryani. We also got a salad and the garlic naan since there were so many suggestions for the naan in other reviews. Like others mentioned, portions are large and served family style. I ate my leftovers as 2 more meals! Everything was very aromatic and I can’t say enough about the freshness and flavors. There were also several other items on the menu that were enticing, so we have no choice but to repeatedly go back to try more. The ambience inside is also very nice. I had never been in here when it was the Chinese restaurant beforehand, but it didn’t look like much from the outside. Service was great and we watched several people come and go with takeout boxes, so I think it is no longer a secret that this new location is serving delicious food. I hope and pray they are a new staple in the Kent restaurant scene that sticks because there is nothing else quite like it in the area and they are doing it with perfection!
