We ordered carryout and really enjoyed the chicken chunks, burgers and loaded french fries. Great food, reasonable prices.
Night time dining options in Fremont are limited (for local great places). So glad we finally tried the Silver Top. Great service for the moment we walked in. Spacious inside seating area and a large outside covered patio gives you great options. Nice sized menu. We had the chicken wings and they were some of the best I have had. Just enough sauce they were nicely coated but not dripping all over the place and not lying in a puddle. Loaded french fries and breaded mushrooms made for tasty side dishes. We will definitely make this part of our regular dining out options.

Since they seem to be short of waitresses and short of food being a Sunday afternoon and I heard that they had just posted two parties I cant rate this very high. Very very very noisy but I should expect this from a sports bar that is huge. Our weight was well over 45 minutes for a food and it seems that they forgot to pick up our food because we shortage of waitresses just interfered with the whole day. Ill be at the shrimp platter and onion rings and it was very good and I had the hamburger Swiss bacon hamburger with onion rings. Cold beers were excellent I had a new one called something like bubbly Stars and it was excellent excellent excellent
Very clean restaurant and bar in this airplane hangar style building. Pleasant servers and patrons. Nice atmosphere.Pool tables, 4 TV, AMI music system.14 bar seats and plenty table seating.
My husband and I were told to go to Silver Top and check out the wings. We did and they are phenomenal!! He had Garlic Parm and I had Mango Habanero. We also shared some loaded fries that were on point as well. Super clean and well staffed. Service was friendly and quick but never felt rushed. We were well taken care of. We will be back for sure!!
Stopped in for supper tonight. The pizza was great and the wings were fantastic! Great server, sorry didnt get your name🤷♀️ Definitely a great place for good food and drink at a great price.
Horrible service waited way to long on our beers, wife and I both ordered chunks and an app. The chuncks came out about a half hour later no app, both orders of chunks was cold sent them back and then got our app after we reminded the waitress. Then 15 minutes later got our chunks back fried hard! Other than cold draft beer have nothing good to say about the place. No go for sure!

I waited over a hour for our food, wasnt busy at all. Waiter said it was due to dinner rush. We ended up taking our food to go, was never brought any refills, fries werent cooked all the way, barely any sauce on their boneless wings, and there was barely any BBQ sauce on the sandwich. Wouldnt recommend to others.
It was just not a good experience. The owners tried to make it right but as a first time visiting the establishment it will be my last. We had a party of 10 got our order in and other large parties that came in after us got their food before us. The wings I ordered had barely any sauce on them and some at our table didnt get all of their orders. We even had one at our table walk out before he received his food. I wish our experience could have been better after being recommended by some that we were with.
I love this place me and my family came here to eat this past Sunday and my God they had some good burgers staff there was respectful especially thier cook Dave he made the burgers we asked for ask for Dave when yall go back trust me its worth it good job silver top
Staff was friendly but service was extremely slow!!! Ordered food and waited over an hour too get it, by the time it arrived everyone else I was with had already finished eating. Paid 30 dollars for 1 beer and 2 orders of wings to take my food home with me and not get too eat it. Will not be returning anytime soon.
Wings are not as good as they were when they were grates. Almost everytime I order I get a bone in wing that doesn’t really have any meat on it. Rude workers like they work at the bmv. As much as I loved grates I would rather go to frickers or bdubs for a cold one and some wings. Fried pickles are good here though I can’t lie.
My wife, son, and me stopped in while visiting from Cleveland. The best wings we have had in a long time came out of the kitchen. Highly recommend, the food was great.

Not a good experience at all...she took our drink orders....and we waited, and waited, and waited, and waited some more...finally she comes over, Sorry your drink order didnt send....waited some more....finally drinks came.....took our order.....not too hard of an order....1/2 lb. Boneless, 1 lb. Boneless, and a order of loaded fries....to be brought out as app. Nope, finally our chunks came out, had to wait on forks, by the time we got to eat they were cold. Sent them back,and they brought out the fries.....chunks finally made it out...fried so hard....wont be back 😌
Great service from Heather. A good waitress can make your experience better and she did a wonderful job. Crisp wings, try the bourbon or hot garlic parmesan. Great burgers too.
Food, drink were both good. Service was good. Only reason for only 4 stars is that the place was freezing cold. But dont let that stop you from going. Sports bar and sports bar food.

Love this place recommend the hot wings. They are famous for there home made original wing sauce. I have a hard time deciding between my favorites on there menu which are the big t, wings, wraps, and grate cheeseburgers! The staff and owners are very friendly. We always have a good experience here.
Just ate lunch here for the first time and it was so delicious ! We had the 75c wings. Boneless wings are the best around. Little breading and can actually taste chicken! Their menu is amazing and cheap! Most certainly returning!
I travel 6-7 months out of the year for work so I eat out A LOT and I will remember Silver Top Sports Bar. Great food. I got wings and mac n cheese bites. Service was world class. Drinks were perfect. Not stupid strong but could be tasted. Great job! I will come back when Im in the area again.
Hole in the wall bar with some of the best wings Ive ever eaten!! Sauerkraut balls are another standout menu item. Service could be better but it was not terrible by any means. Well worth the drive to Fremont for the wings alone:)
Maybe a bit of a wait for our food, but worth it- great Reuben burger, everyone else was happy with their food, and our waitress was really on top of things. Going back for sure!

Love this place. One of my favorites. Prices are great. Food is great and service is usually good. Last time I went it was packed and only one waitress when they needed two at least. Not sure if they weren’t expecting it cause they re opened dining after COVID. Still one of my favs
Came to eat here with the family after a baseball game. We all had wings and they were very good! We had 4 different flavors and they were all delicious. Pricing was very good as well. We will definitely be back
Silver Top is a very unique building which makes it a very neat bar. When I was there they had a great DJ. The place is very spacious and clean. I cant comment on their food, but I did hear good things from the people that did eat. Keep up the good work!
We went for $2 burger night, which was absolutely amazing. And our server, Hunter, was absolutely incredible! He was so attentive and so friendly he made our whole meal enjoyable! We will definitely be back.
Super great time at Grates after a long day of driving! Relaxed with special Friday Fish fry which was amazing, tasty, and just right with a craft beer! Nice wait staff and atmosphere: great local color!But, I left my sweatshirt there. . . they sweetly mailed it back to me in Chicago! Thanks forever for their special care.Will never forget their kindness and wonderful service.Would certainly recommend Grates to hungry travelers. Enjoy!
Food was mediocre. I asked the bar tender for a fruity mixed drink, I suppose that ment extremely weak drink. Drank 1, asked bar tender to step it up, drank another 2 and still was weak. Funny thing I only drank 1 from a RESTAURANT night before, 3 from a BAR? 🤣 Decided to stop wasting my money after the 3
I spent quite a bit of money here and the wings were super dry. They were overcooked and they didnt even have any sauce at all. I was told my food would be ready im half hour and I spent that driving to wait another 40 mins waiting when I got there. This place used to be one of my favorites and now Im positive I will never go back, nor recommend this place to anyone.
Ordered 400 wings for my wedding reception and it was a hit! I def recommend for parties, weddings, and gatherings. Family and friends could not stop raving about silver top’s wings. I look forward to ordering again from them in the future.
First time there with the new owners and all I can say is WOW not very professional. And I watched the male waitress get several drinks and put the straws in the drink without washing hands after touching money and computer. All I can say is wow. I know what I seen with the waiter. And it was unprofessional cause you were having a fight with who ever and instead of leaving it at the door your bar costumers had to hear about it. But it looks very nice with the updates but it doesnt just take that people dont want to be sick .
We stopped at this little out-of-the-way place for lunch on a road trip and were pleasantly surprised by the many food options. The wings were decent and my husband really enjoyed his Coney dogs and beer, everything was inexpensive and of solid quality.

Located off the beaten path in a bar like atmosphere. Reasonable prices and great portions. Salads, wraps and wings are all delicious. You can even enjoy a game of pool.

Nothing bad to say about Grates. They are the perfect bar if the only beer you drink is Bun it Bud Light. I really think they are missing some opportunities by not offering any Craft Beers.

There was one server for about thirty people. I ordered boneless chicken nuggets and was charged for the dip.. Most restaurants dont charge for ranch or any other sauce.

Just went there for lunch with the wife. Had a daily specials menu which had wings for 45 cents. When we got the bill they were 69 cent. The waitress told us that was the after 5 special,but No where on the menu it said that on it. Needless to say I will not be back.

Says closes at 11pm but closes at 10pm and kitchen closes at 9pm tried to call to confirm they are open till 11pm like it says but no answer. would have been nice to know before we drove out other then that seemed nice.

2022-07-09Havent been here for 30 years. WOW. Big improvement with the great deck, expansion and rejuvenation inside. They even added outside bar and stage out back. Food was good, prices reasonable and our waitress was really attentive to us. Everyone seemed friendly and took care of us. Great experience and improved on some old memories, lol.

2021-10-05Stopped in for lunch $3 yuengling jumbo! and stayed for lunch. Service was great had burger and fries fries had good seasoning and burger was good not great worth the stop if your rolling thru easy on easy off turnpike. Atmosphere was a small town bar and they had outdoor patio seating.

2022-06-06Nice place to go if you want to sit outside. I gave it two stars because the server/bartender did what she could to get us what we needed. They were extremely short staffed on a Sunday and we had a reservation, didnt even matter because it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get our food and when it came out it was cold and not cooked all the way. My family and I have frequented this restaurant many times before so I was completely surprised to have this terrible service. I would call ahead before you go to make sure they have enough staffing or plan on waiting forever and day for bar food and flat draft beer. When a conversation on the phone with the owner was warranted by our server all she (the owner) could do was make excuses.

2022-02-26We got the ruebon hamburger, loaded fries and BLT with loaded tater tots , food came out and looked great, however every part of it was over cooked, fries, tots, bacon on the BLT, and my hamburger was a hockey puck, on a better note, the beer was great.... someone needs to talk to the cook and explain all food does not have to be overcooked, place has potential but for myself, I wont be back for the second chance...

2021-10-03Service was great. Didnt order a burger as they wont prepare it to order so I ordered a fish sandwich instead. It was tasty and filling. My husbands burger was good but nothing special. Lots of tvs with rustic atmosphere .
