If I could give it 2.5 starts I would. The sales person gets credit for being very responsive. So my mom was in a car accident in 2013 and was terrified driving the car she was in so I was buying her a 4WD car. Im buying from out of state.I already had financing secure so all she had to do was let me know that was the car she wanted I call USAA and they send a check; should be simple. Well with the used car market the value of the car was under what USAA is willing to loan. They valued it at like 12500 and would loan 14850, and dealer had it valued at 15000 (16.3k out the door). No big deal Ill pay the difference, I understand the market right now.I ask if I can just use my debit card to pay the remaining 1800ish dollars. He was worried about a 3% charge they get. I was like seriously I walk in dont haggle, nothing. Dont give you any trouble about the car being over what it is valued at. So then I have to pay $30 to wire transfer them the $$$ and I sent over paperwork from my bank showing everything was complete and said check was in the mail (overnight). He needed me to call my bank in a 3-way call because he insisted they could just send the $$$ via ACH after I told him they couldnt.Finally because I was buying from out of state I had to get some paperwork and notarized and spend $50 overnighting it there. It just put a bad taste in my mouth that I made your job easy and you wanted to make things a hassle. Guy I was working with was Eric Grabiec.. my dad sold cars for 12-years and I am very customer service oriented. Congrats on the 3% you saved on that $1300. Way to go above and beyond for someone who you had to do almost no work for. Stellar work.

My car was stolen from my garage last week. I just moved here from The West Coast 8 months ago. My car was paid for. My car was not found so now i must purchase a new car 8 months after purchasing a new home. Trust me, I am not looking forward to this especially with used cars being priced so high right now. I found the model I was was looking for at Silver Star. Never heard of the joint. From the moment i walked into this small dealership I was greeted by Oganis and treated with the utmost respect. We all know dealers just sell cars, they couldnt care less what brought you in. Oganis worked with me and my situation so compassionately. He worked with me until we got to a place I could afford. I originally thought this was a good place! I was fooled 2 years later and I don’t have 2nd key! Not a bad car but wow was I lied too about other things! The salesman was pushing me to do a review before his lies came to light!! If you buy a car there make sure when they are pushing you to do a review to tell them to earn it! Thanks for my 2nd key! I am on disability and my son was looking for a vehicle for me because I had gotten stuck in my vehicle and it was horrible he sent me a bunch of links Silverstar was the first one I went to drive the vehicle it was so nice amazing vehicle but my son wanted me to go look at and drive a couple of vehicles which I did and everyone I drove I just kept comparing it to the first one I drove at Silver star it was amazing my son is the one that dealt with all the business side of it I only went and signed papers and picked up my car A Honda cross tour amazing it is an amazing vehicle low mileage great features great price everyone I dealt with was amazing

Adam and his team are awesome! I live a little bit out of the way but we were able to get almost everything we needed done over the phone. They had told me to call them if I ever needed a CARFAX report for another vehicle, and today I did. Im selling our other car, and wanted the CarFax for it. Eric Grabiec went above & beyond in giving me an excellent customer service experience. He communicated with me promptly (via text so that I could multitask while working) and listened to my needs/expectations. Eric worked diligently to find financing that fit my financial situation (poor credit history, poor credit score) & made it possible for me to buy a safe/reliable vehicle within my limited price range. I would beware of this dealer, it seems they are willing to price gouge consumers. Approached them about a car price which was marked up 100 to 120 percent of trade in price while industry standard is 25 to 45% which pushed the asking price to over 4k over fair market value. when asked to reconcile the difference dealer got defensive and insulting. Dealers and banks use NADA to inflate car values, which is questionable. This was just absurd.
Got in and out quickly with my VW Golf. Solid pricing, no hassle salespeople. Eric never steered me wrong. Love the car I got at an affordable price. Check out their vehicles, as they mainly carry VW Auto group vehicles.

We had an excellent experience with this dealership. TPrior to our arrival, our email queery’s were quickly responded to. After a 2 hour drive to the dealership, we weren’t sure what to expect. We were politely greeted on arrival, able to test drive the vehicle of our choice right way, and the used vehicle we drove was very clean. The inventory is impressive for the size of the location and we worked with Oganes from start to finish. The whole transaction was smooth and comfortable. We were never pressured and the information we received matched what we found in our own research. I would shop here for another vehicle!
Do not go here , bought a Chevy impala back in March for over $8000 and have put in at least $2000 just in repairs . Scam artist is a better word for the people who work here . They want you to write a review after you bought the car but not afterwards so they don’t look bad . Be aware you will get screwed from this place .
I was on the search for an electric vehicle when I came across a 2015 Kia Soul EV + through Silver Star. After inquiring through Car Guru about the vehicle, Oganes was quick to contact me and was very accessible by calling and texting. He took his time to do research on the vehicle, and it showed in how we discussed the pros and cons of competing models.When I explained the new incoming bill where electric vehicles pay 200/ year for registration, he was willing to negotiate in light of that.All in all, I consider this dealership to have been honest, direct, and knowledgeable about their products. Id recommend them to anyone looking for a used vehicle.
I bought my new Kia Soul 2018 about two week ago. I liked the car from the beginning since would be my 2nd Kia andalso was manual transmission. When I first contacted them by phone to announce my visit to the showroom, the sale agent, Erik, gave me a warning that the car was manual transmission, to avoid me to waste my time if I dont drive standards, and I liked that transparency toward the customer. It was a Saturday, my dead car was at a rental car store, from where I picked a vehicle to look around for my next car. The car team worked diligently to help me to drive that same day my new Kia. Because the car was missing the owner manual, they order a new one to be delivered to my door. Ill definitely buy from them again.
Zach was my salesperson. He was very upfront and honest. Did not pressure me to buy. Agreed on a price and he stuck to his numbers. Bought a 2012 hyundai Genesis. Black on black with all options. Zach is even working to find least expensive way to ship car to my house. They have BMWs Audis Mercedes-Benz. Newer cars to satisfy anyones needs. They even put car on the rack so I could see the underneath with mechanic. The mechanic actually took me for a ride in the car. How many dealerships do that. Cars can be a very big expense any questions text me or call me.

I inquired on a 2015 Passat that I had previously owned, but had sold back to VW during the buyback due emissions cheat. I had loved this car and was very excited when we found it for sale again, but I’m on MN and the car made its way to Silver Star Motors in Ohio. We had called and they confirmed the car was still available. They took all of my husbands information to get approval for a loan, since we were 12 hours away one way, we wanted to have approval and the loan/paperwork confirmed before flying out to get the car. They ran my husbands credit, called us back to advise us we were approved. Even gave us the cost of what our monthly payment would be and the details of the loan (length, gap coverage etc). He said he would email us a PDF file to sign and we heard nothing more. I texted and asked if they emailed the paperwork yet. He called me and said that there were other people there looking at the car. He claims they were there AFTER he ran our application but still gave us loan info and terms but wouldn’t send the paperwork to finalize it because these other people were there. When he called to advise us we were approved, he mentioned a $300 deposit to “hold” the car. But didn’t ask to take payment for me, so that I could secure the car because there were other people there. When I questioned if he would have sold the car even if he had my deposit, he said yes, because the other people were there in person. He continued to argue with me and couldn’t understand why I was upset. You ran our credit, caused a hard pull, gave us loan terms and all we would need to have done is signed the emailed document. This is horrible business and service. So glad to didn’t buy a plane ticket and then get screwed over when I got there. Beware! Very sad I am missing the opportunity to get my car back

Called in advance and asked if there was any rust on a 2014 vehicle. They replied that there was no rust visible. When I arrived, one glance under both front seats, revealed an abnormal of rust on the seat slider components. Salesman replied that it was probably from detailing. That was obviously not the case because it extended into areas that a detailer would never touch. I then looked at the metal under the carpet where the carpet opens for the gas cover lever. There was also rust visible there as well. This vehicle obviously had a significant amount of water inside it at one point. We all know those cars are out there. I would have appreciated more honesty during my initial call and from the salesman.

I do not know them well enough to say whether or not theye a good company to work with. Youre buying as is used vehicles for a decent price. I cant complain about these guys, it is what it is. Bought 2 vehicles there myself. Make sure you get the car youre buying checked out by a mechanic if you dont know how to check it yourself. Or if you need someone to hold your hand and you dont understand cars, go to a dealership. ;)

Not willing to negotiate at all. Asked them to come down 600 dollars and they were not having it at all. We were willing to buy that day, but they lost it over 600 dollars. Ended up purchasing elsewhere the same day.

I highly recommend Silver Star motors to anyone who is looking to buy a car from honest people. They have very professional and knowledgeable salespeople. I found them online and when I contacted them, I was pleased with how clearly they answered all my questions--it was evident that they were not playing any games. I got the sense that they were trying to really help me out as they were so attentive to my needs.The process of buying my car was very quick thanks to fact that the dealership made it easy and straightforward for me, which I never expect when buying a car. The most important part for me was that the final price was exactly the price that we negotiated initially--there were no last minute surprises. 2022-01-14I HATE car shopping I would legit rather ride a Turtle to work every day than shop for a new car .. I stumbled across Silver Star by chance on marketplace drove 1 hr and 45 min .. so glad I did because they were so easy to work with I was blown away with amount they gave me for trade in they were FANTASTIC all of the cars were spotless and they were so honest about any previous history on cars hands down the best dealership I have ever been to I wont be going anywhere else from now on ! And they also have amazing warranty options when buying many of them only cover certain thing theirs covered just about everything !

2022-07-16UPDATE: Well its 3 cars from Silver Star now. This one for my daughter. You just cant beat this place!!Joe is great to work with! All 3 times have been exceptional experiences. First the prices are unbeatable. I searched and was unable to find any dealer that came close to the price I received from Silver Star.The paperwork was explained in detail (this was my daughters 1st car purchase). They helped arrange financing, the rate was very competitive and definitely comparable to what I would have received from my credit union.If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank You for the Great Service!!

2021-06-29Been abit since I bought my Audi from them... went to have the intercooler replaced and found this front end damage.... bumper guard is completely twisted and bent and radiator is shaped like a bowl...they also tried to say a after market intake was causing a coolant leak... I dont recommend buying anything from these people. Shade tree mechanics finest.
