Mike Lokie and Signature mortgage made it easy to get a mortgage when I retired. Instead of a pension, I received a distribution. I had no income since I was too young to get Social Security, but he was able to find financing for our new home purchase. When rates went down, he also helped us refinance to a lower interest rate! He and the company are very thorough, friendly and responsive.

My husband and I worked with this company to get pre-approved for a house. Starting out it was great, they seemed eager to help us and gathered the information they needed. Unfortunately once they determined that it would be more difficult based on our situation, they didnt communicate with us and left us in the dark on what was going on. My husband and I reached out to Bob and at first he was helpful and got in contact with the associate who first assisted us but once they could not help us Bob was very rude and said we are more than welcome to get a second opinion elsewhere. We only tried to get more information from Bob because we were frustrated but with how disrespectful he was to my husband we are left in a very frustrating position. If you are in a good situation to get pre-approved then Im sure this company is great to work with but if there are issues they will throw you aside and become very disrespectful in the process.

Let’s just say if i could give 10 stars i would twice! Signature Mortage is absolutely amazing. I originally purchased my home through quicken loans. With the recent drop in interest rates i wanted to do a cash out refinance. So i contacted quicken loans and started the process. I was seeking a $20,000 cash out refinance, after 2 months of back and forth and a appraisal that was less than when i bought the house. (I completely remodeled the home after i bought it) Quicken came back and told me they could give me half of what i was asking for cash out refinance $10,000 and my mortgage payment would be $142 more than what i was currently paying and they wanted $11,000 in closing fees!!!!I had enough so i told quicken loans to fly a kite.That is when family friend who is a realtor told me about signature Mortage. Mike contacted me that same night and the next morning he had sent me over my interest rates and full numbers break down of what i was looking at. Within 2 weeks of Mike and I first conversation, the appraisal was done, interest rate was locked and the loan was in underwriting!That is when i started working with Raven to finish the rest of the loan. Working with Raven and Mike was an absolute amazing experience. No sitting on hold, no waiting days for an emails response like i did with quicken.If i had any questions Raven and Mike would get back to me within hours if not less. When they needed something done to get the loan done as fast as possible they reached out to me to make the process as fast and easy as possible.Today i closed on my loan, 4 weeks from start to finish during a national crisis!!!No only did they get the loan done fast, they where able to lock me into a lower interest rate, get me the full amount i was asking for on the cash out refinance , and the closing costs was 3x less than what quicken loans was trying to charge me! Signature Mortage was able to get me all $20,000 cash out i was asking and it increased my monthly Mortage $23 a month!! Quicken would have been $278 more a month if they were able to get me that amount back!!!If you are looking to buy, refinance or anything home related then i highly highly recommend you contact Signature Mortage!!Thank you Mike, Raven and everyone at Signature Mortage for such a great customs service and experience!
Steve took great care in answering all of my questions throughout the buying process (and I had a lot of questions). He was always quick to answer or respond whenever I reached out to him. We were on a tight closing schedule and his team was always several steps ahead to make sure that everything went as planned.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Signature Mortgage.I had to switch lenders last minute because the previous lender backed out of my mortgage and was saying that I was unable to qualify for the load I applied for even though I was repeatedly told that there would be no issue. Defeated, I Googled the type of loan I was applying for and Signature Mortgage was the first thing to pop up. So I looked them up, read some reviews, and thinking this was too good to be true, I called them up and explained my situation.Cody James was assigned to my loan and he made everything much easier on me than my previous lender. I had most of what we needed from my first loan application and about a week and a half to secure the loan. Pressed with this deadline, Cody did everything efficiently and I was able to close on my house without issue! He made it so easy and I was always treated like a friend. If I didnt understand something he would explain it in a way that made sense. He gave good advice and was honest about what might happen if I did this or that. I was very pleased. If I ever purchase another home I would definitely use Signature Mortgage again.

First time home buyer, I wasn’t sure where to start. I got in touch with a family friend (thanks Cindy!) who works for Signature. She directed me to Brian Winkler who went over loan options and provided me with a pre-approval letter same day, on a Saturday no less! Once I had my property contract, the loan process and communication was excellent. I was always kept in the loop and had all my many questions answered. I was very impressed with this transaction, and would highly recommend!
My fiance and I had a great experience with Mike Lokie and his team. They were very efficient and we even closed 12 days early! Anything we needed - answers to questions/concerns, more information - they responded the same day and even on the weekends. We started working with Signature Mortgage over the summer and were advised to work on our credit to get a pre approval. Finally in Nov we got a pre approval letter and started looking at houses. We put in and offer on a home in Dec, and got all the required documents to Corey our loan officer. He reassured us over and over that everything is good to go and our closing date was set for Feb 7 2020. Then today Jan 27 2020 he calls to tell us that we are not able to get the house. We have packed up our 5 children and everything in our home ready to move in 11 days. Now we are stuck not being able to move and on top of that we had given our current home to our oldest son as his engagement gift and now we have to go back on that.we put $595 in for an appraisal for the house and we wont even get that back. We will be getting back the earnest money we put in, but we are losing everything else we have put in. Time, money spent for copies, and traveling to get documents and other expenses. I am beyond mad and dont even know what to do from here.We spoke with other lenders and they all said that Signature should never have given a pre-appoval for the very reasons they are denying the loan now. they should have helped us work more on our credit not giving us false information.

I would stay away from these folks, very shady and unreliable. They dont like to help you if you have a low income or credit score. They are not consistent with communication and they will try to pin it on you that you did not follow up with them. They dont like to do any extra work to helping you achieve a loan.

2021-09-21I found Signature Mortgage years ago when I was looking for a tech-forward mortgage company with excellent reviews; my wife was traveling a lot and we were often in different areas of the country, and traditional banks were still incredibly paper-based. My first experience in 2014 was fantastic, and when I was in the market for a new home in 2021 I didnt hesitate to call Bob first. Responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and yet always personal--youre not just a number at Signature Mortgage. Highly recommended!

2021-04-22Steve Garrot and his team made my first home purchase amazingly quick and pretty easy. They are extremely knowledgeable and take pride in what they do & do it well. They make sure all the info your potential lender requires is delivered to them with every T crossed. I was not an easy applicant for them but found a lending institution that accepted my data and approved in a couple weeks and I was moving in and am still here with the same mortgage company. What has really made a difference is over 3 yrs later I receive timely emails with valuable info and tips from Steve about home ownership and its good to know I wasnt forgotten. Its also awesome that Steves life values are similar to mine. Let them help you the way Im thankful that they helped me achieve a dream.
