Shoe Carnival in other cities:
Poor costumer service. I asked for the mate of a pair of shoes and the lady rolled her eyes at me. Ok, thought maybe she was having a bad day and let it go. The cashier that checked me out was annoyed that she had to wave me over to the counter twice instead of using her words and calling me over. She was super rude to the lady behind me bc she paid in cash. I debating on returning the shoes I bought, but I already spent so much time in there.
Robert WAS AWESOME he was very helpful last night HE helped my son in law get 2 pairs of work boots and we came back and got 4 PAIRS of School Shoes and 2 lunch boxes very good quality and great sale...I WILL be back to get ME some BOBS NEXT paycheck. Thanks Robert great job
Shoes are overpriced. If you care about brand name shoes you will probably like this place, but if all you care about is how your shoes look and fit, you will probably want to go elsewhere. They boast a large selection of kids shoes but most of them are name brand. If your kid cares more about what cartoon character is on their shoes than what company made them, this store is not for you.
This is a great shoe store. They have a huge variety of brands from Nike to Bearpaws boots. The store is always clean and organized. They have a nice selection of childrens shoes also. Especially love when there is a Bogo 1/2 off second pair. Friendly staff as well. Shoe carnival is the store to get the family their shoes!
Never going back to this location again!!! As I was cashing out some frickin rude as color dude with glasses and bald was trying to joke around with me (I dont take jokes to well so watch what you say cause you dont know me) and then almost shorted me my change like seriously he needs to be fired! First of all hire people that has nice customer service skills/friendly and most important hire someone that knows how to do math!!!
This store was a complete disaster the day I stopped there . There were literally boxes of opened shoes everywhere that myself and others had to step over to shop. There were only two cashiers on the day before school started. It was a mad house. As usual, they never have my size (9) in styles I like, Sperry, Clark, Rocketdog, Sketchers. So, as usual, I left without buying anything. They need to improve customer service and hire more associates if they want to stay open. We need them to be there...as Westside has limited shoe stores.
Honestly, I like Shoe Carnival, especially their BOGO sales. However, Ive NEVER been able to participate in the sale due to not finding my size in shoes much. Im a womens 11 and my size is a bit hard to find. Although they have tons of stock, it seems everything is under a size 9. Its extremely frustrating.

2021-09-22I went to this Shoe Carnival to buy a pair of sandals after my husband told me it even existed--I had no idea we had a dedicated shoe store in Western Hills. The parking lot was clean and so was the store (although the clearance sections in the back were a little chaotic). I would have liked a wider selection--so much of the store is taken up by name brand tennis shoes, which leaves little else for sandals, heels, boots, etc. I found a pair that would do, but they were so expensive ($35 on clearance for a flat, leatherless sandal). I tried to find other options but sandals arent the most attractive shoe and some of them were even more (around $50 on clearance).I decided on the $35 pair because I really needed them and have struggled to find anything else for weeks. My husband checked out mens shoes, but they were all too expensive to consider for now (all $55+). Our cashier, Lindsey, didnt greet us at first (I greeted her), but she ended up being friendly so it seems shes just shy. She did catch that my shoes were two different sizes, and then they had three employees searching the store for the matching shoe in my size (found it in the back). Im grateful for their search!Overall, I went here because I had tried everywhere else. While I did leave with a pair of sandals, Im not completely satisfied because Im anxious about them lasting me a few years to justify the (clearance!) price. It has been about ten years since I last bought a shoe like this, so perhaps its just inflation. Nevertheless, it was a so-so experience.

2022-02-06Friendly and helpful staff. It definitely isnt their fault that you will get accosted by panhandling in the parking lot.

2021-10-20I purchased a pair of Emeril Legassi work shoes for my new job at shoe carnival. After one and a half weeks of wear the sole became separated from the shoe.I did not keep the box and could not find a receipt. I figured like most modern stores they could look up the purchase on my credit card.Come to find out they are not that modern. The lady told me I am out of luck.So keep your receipts if you shop at this store that sells low quality foot wear. In fact just go somewhere else.

2021-04-19This place is a joke. The workers are rude and have 0 personally skills. I was bothering them to ask a question about a shoe. Will NEVER step foot back in this joke of store. DSW is way better and I will drive to spend the money at a better store.

2020-09-14Huge selection of shoes. the lady working the floor stocking shelves was incredibly rude. I asked for the mate of the shoe I was getting and she was completely bothered that I even asked her a question. after asking where to find the mate she throws her hand on her hip starts to roll her eyes tells me theyll get it for you up front as if I was supposed to automatically know this. I get to the front to check out no one greets me no one says hello Im just standing there. the one employee then points to the counter and says just put it up there. I probably will not be back to this store location.

2020-07-20The customer service was very poor. I was with a lady who had just had a medical boot removed and was very excited to get into regular shoes. When I asked where we could find footies for her to try on shoes I was directed to the front of the store. Ok, not knowing better thats where I went. The next question concerned a chair for her to sit to try shoes on. Instead of directing us to a chair the person actually pointed her finger and told us they were somewhere over there. Wow! Worse customer service ever. After paying for the shoes I decided to let the cashier know about the poor service. She shrugged her shoulders and said the person who treated us so poorly was the manager. I do not know the name of the manager but she was heavyset woman.
