Booked the King bed suite with the sofa couch online and upon arrival, it was more than I was expecting. Very clean room, modern and up to date, and great lighting in the bathroom. The check-in process was very quick and efficient and so was the check-out process upon leaving. Will definitely book here again when I am in the Columbus area!
The rooms are very clean and comfortable the only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is there breakfast, it was By far the worst breakfast I have ever (tried) to eat in my life. Breakfast is a separate cost at $12 a person but honestly you can find better in a dumpster.Edit- currently fighting the worst case of food poisoning Ive ever had, checked out at 11 currently 1:20pm and have had multiple moments of diarrhea and vomiting that have yet to stop.DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!
Positive: The room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and the on-site restaurant was good. Negative: There was a kids hockey tournament nearby and there were dozens-but felt like hundreds of children running wild throughout the property. That¿s not the hotel¿s fault and it wasn¿t THAT bad. I couldn¿t hear them in the room.
This was our second weekend staying here for tournaments. First weekend, our shower leaked from the base and flooded the room and carpet, we were moved to another room that had a broken key pad and we couldn’t enter. Finally moved to a third room and we crashed in bed at that point. This weekend. We kept hearing noises in the ceiling at night. Finally realized after hearing squeaks and skittering noises that there are rodents in the ceiling. Called down at 1030pm to front desk and we’re simply told we didn’t know, sorry. Told front desk again the am after a sleepless night that they also didn’t know and would look into it. We were never offered another room or even a comped night for this. Two weekends in a row of issuesOn another note, breakfast restaurant staff are kind souls and amazing/wonderful to all guests
The rooms were great and the location was easy enough to get to. Our stay was negatively impacted by one staff member who seemed to dislike us for no reason. He seemed to give us attitude more times than not, even though we were always respectful and polite. We found ourselves trying to avoid asking for anything when he was working, and it put a damper on things. Aside from that staff member, most of the other staff members were professional and friendly. We also had some issues with the hot water not working, and apparently much of the hotel was having the same problem. it took a couple days to get the issue fixed.
This hotel is in a nice location close to restaurants. Staff was very friendly. The lobby and bar is also very nice. The pool is a bit dirty and neglected. The elevators seem very old and shaky, the doors take forever to close. The hallways smell like weed. We booked a 1 King Bed Suite and it was much smaller than in the photos online. It says it sleeps 4, but with the pull out couch made into a bed there is hardly any room. Our room wasn’t very clean which is concerning because their website says rooms are extra clean now as a COVID precaution. None of the surfaces in the room had been wiped. There was dirt and hair all over the floor, and stains on the carpet. There’s was balls of hair stuck to the blankets. And the bathroom towels are as thin as the pool towels. Our booking said we had a tub/shower combo, but it was just a shower. The outside door had pry marks all over it, like someone tried to break into the room. There’s was also a giant crack in the window and our room was so cold. We booked this hotel because the photos online looked so nice, but trust the other reviews and go somewhere else instead. The room renovations seem partially/poorly done. Everything seemed like a cosmetic fix but didn’t function properly. Wish we stayed somewhere else.
Had a king suite for 2 nights. We did not use the pool, visit the restaurant or use anything the hotel had to offer. This review is for room only.Perfect. Not many hotels keep up with their rooms or they use photos that are old. This one keeps up. I did not encounter any issues staying here. Everything worked, nothing was broken, nor falling apart. Everything was clean.Loved the room layout and the shower. Main reason I chose here. Beds are very soft, and not on the firm side. Pillows are the sink your head into till flat type, but they give you 4 for the bed so it balances out excellent.Decent channel line up for both tvs, which I would pin around 50” tvs.Quiet. It was busy. But we never heard a pet, kid, argument or even another door open or close.Room was stocked and never had to call down for anything.( they do have plastic forks and spoons at the bar if needed ).My only downside would be the elevators. There was 2 and both worked, rather quickly at moving also. But loud, clunky and squeaky. I’d say a service is overdue on these for sure but worked.
Staff was great. Hotel Lobby was beautiful. We did like that you could charge things to the room.We inquired about breakfast but was told by one particular front desk staff member that we’d be better off going to McDonalds LOL.We went during Spring Break so there were lots of kids , some weren’t being watch by their parents. The pool area wasn’t the cleanest and there were hardly any towels. At one point, there were three families that pretty much turned the pool area to a full blown pool party, beer, loud music. Which made it a very tacky. In addition, there is no Jacuzzi! Their jacuzzi room has been made into a storage room. Lastly, the rooms are super small.
Positive: It was close to where we needed to be and the kids enjoyed the pool. Negative: Our room was not clean and our toilet was already clogged when we arrived. The next morning we left early because the woman working the breakfast was so rude when the couple in front of us asked about it being a continental breakfast.
Very friendly staff felt like they were under staffed a bit so had to multitask which is why not 5 stars because staff couldnt dedicate themselves as much is they could have. Room definitely could have been cleaned better as we had to ask for new bedding and didnt seem like they vacuumed it. They were quick to resolve the problems. We will being giving them another try at a different time.
Room was clean but definitely not impressed. The outside pool was filthy, no lounge chairs, and it was 95 degrees outside. Not a single person used it. The indoor pool was cloudy and wet towels everywhere. It was obviously not clean or maintained. Customer service when we checked it was not good either. They basically handed us the key and then never mentioned we needed the key to operate the elevators. No maid service. We had to call to get towels. The website mentioned a Starbucks in the hotel and there wasn’t one. When I asked they stated there was Starbucks coffee in the room. The website clearly showed an actual Starbucks in the hotel. We were not impressed considering what the rate was.
It was a nightmare from start. Checked in on March 13, approximately 530pm after 8 hours drive from Toronto. The room was not properly cleaned. I checked with the front desk for another room, I was told they had no more rooms for the night and no housekeeping to clean the room. My wife decided to clean the room because she was tired and she cant be looking for another hotel.March 14, I visited front office, and spoke with a front desk agent and gave a list of items that were not working ( the sink, the phone, the window blind, the safe and dirty blankets and duvet) in the room. Front office told me that everything should be fixed by the time Im back. Later in the evening, I came back to the hotel, the room wasnt cleaned but the blankets was replaced. The sink was fixed but some items were still an issue. I spoke with the front desk, I was told that due to Cov-19, housekeeping is only available upon request. My wife said ok again, she will clean the room for the second day.At approximately 930pm, my room was very cold and my family was complaining. I called the front desk who told me that there was nothing they can do because the maintenance person was not available so my family and I had to sleep in a cold room that cost me about $200 a night.I will be looking for a different hotel tomorrow. Im really disappointed with sheraton. I will be back to complete my review.
We stayed for one night in a suite. We have two kids that qunder 3 years old and called ahead to ask if they had pack and plays, they stated yes when we called ahead but at time of check in did not. Bummer. The room we got felt old because it had a smell of stale cigarette smoke. More disappointment is that there is no free breakfast and the noise from the roadway and construction can keep you up if you are a light sleeper. This is not a 4 star hotel experience.
Stayed at the Sheraton and it was great! I was booked and stayed one night a the DoubleTree that was a nightmare! My company was able to get us booked at the Sheraton immediately. I was greeted as soon as I entered the hotel it was so clean unlike the DoubleTree. Great customer service stayed for 5 days while I was taking an Insurance class. I would rate it 10 stars!!
Positive: The room was clean and comfortable Negative: The hot tub was not in service as described. The front desk was not able to get us a working key to our room, one of us had to stay in the room at all times so we could get in and out, pretty ridiculous. I had to replace 2 broken light bulbs.
Front desk lady was nice during check in, room was nice but kinda dirty. stains of pee(?) on the floor by the toilet and some light brown stains of something sticky on the floor by the sink in the bathroom , hairs in the toilet, counters were definitely not wiped off because we could see leftover marks from stuff that was on them.
Room was clean I wasnt a fan of the dividing doors.. you can see through them so it made it difficult and offered little privacy between everyone else in the room. Beds were comfortable even the sofa bed wasnt bad. We slept in past checkout lol The phone in the room didnt work which was annoying but we all had cell phones. We would stay again just possibly different room. The pictures dont really look the same they do but they dont Its weird Its like everyones profile picture... Its got a good filter applied and taken from the right angle🙃
I loved our room , employees where great. The only complaint and its a big one. Was the kids. I called the front desk multiple times bc the kids in the room next to ours where running down the halls, knocking on peoples doors, yelling, then kicked and pounded on the wall till 1 am
Positive: It was clean and close to everything. Negative: My suite was right next to the elevators and the noise kept me up all night. Hated the barn doors on all the rooms. Especially the bathroom. Id like to have privacy and lock the doors which was NOT an option. The bath towels were also paper thin.
¡¡¡DO NOT STAY HERE!!!Horrible hotel.Horrible lay out.Very busy with kids everywhere.Elevators take a very long time. Only one working. To use the staircase you gotta go behind the front desk and Through the office.Dirty rooms. No TP.Only two towels.Food on site, disgusting.Front desk on drugs so don’t Even worry about asking for anything.Dirty dirty dirty. Everything is dirty and/or broken.
Positive: There was a chance for this to be a really bad experience but the staff stepped in and grabbed victory from defeat. The manager on the morning we departed made sure we left with smiles on our faces. Negative: The barn doors from the bed room to the bathroom don¿t allow for proper privacy
Positive: Location Negative: The room was not clean. There was a sticky substance on the floor. We usually do not complain about issues so we did not inform the staff. The safety latch on the divider door was was pulled out of the door and the screws were on the floor.
This hotel was quite dissapointing. The bed had a stain. When we went into the bathroom, a paneling fell down and blocked the bathroom door, there was part of the wall under the window that had paper falling off the floor. The pool had so much chlorine you couldnt see your feet.
We thought the Rooms were nice. we had no maid service, we had to buy coffee at the grill. Great area to walk the dogs, very pet friendly, convenient location. But without maid service we had no clean towels, and our trash was overflowing. When I pay this price for a room I expect beds made and fresh towels daily.
This used to be a great hotel, now perhaps not so much. We have stayed at this hotel of and on for over a decade. At some point since our last visit they remodeled. The rooms seem smaller. The throw carpet in the bedroom was covered in multiple stains and looked like it had never been cleaned. Other than those issues the room was acceptable.Service- I called down for towels an hour before dinner. 3 hours later I had to go to the front desk and request them.Mask policy- Columbus was under a mask mandate while we were visiting that required masks in any indoor public place. Fully half of the many guests wandering through the lobby were not wearing masks, and no visible effort by the staff to enforce the mandate. This used to be a quality hotel worth the extra expense to stay there, not so much anymore. It is distressing, because it really used to be a beautiful place.
Enjoyed our stay. Staff and service, from the front desk to the bar/restaurant to the support staff, was all excellent. Food and drinks were great. Loved the renovated rooms: they are even more pet friendly. One partial downer was that the pool was closed, but it was probably due to COVID.
Booked a stay for one night. The people at the desk were great very friendly. The room was not as clean as I hoped. The table not wiped down counters with coffee on them definitely could have been cleaner. People had left beer bottles on the tables by the elevator and kids were running around soaking wet in the lobby and bar area coming from the pool. The grill doesn’t have many food options but is fairly priced and the customer service is probably the best I’ve ever experienced. All in all was a decent hotel for the price but I wouldn’t book here again due to cleaning issues
There was an issue with our room 301, there was a loud noise that kept us up all night. I called the front desk at 7pm and we where blown off and they never came to check on us. Then at 230 am when I went to the front desk to complain the lady came back to our room to see what the noise was and she had no clue so we where moved to room 815 at 3 am. This switch should have been made at 7pm when I first complained. The next morning I was hassled about the breakfast and said charge it to my room. 12 $ for some Luke warm scrambled eggs and rubbery bacon with some toast, not worth it. Then we tried to use the pool but it was 65° in the pool room and the water was chilly and not very enjoyable. This was a staycation to kick off the holiday vacation for my kids we wanted to swim and enjoy a nice room and have fun and it was the opposite. Our staycation was ruined as after we checked out we all went home and crashed the whole day from exhaustion from only getting 3/4 hours of sleep. The mager I spoke with the next morning comped the room and breakfast however I would of been happier had they gave us another night for free or at least half off to make up for our awful night. I mean comping the room was minimal because of course we shouldnt pay it was an awful experience so make up for it by giving us an actual free stay that we can enjoy. I hope the staff that was working that night who blew me off was reprimanded for ignoring guest. This stay was a nightmare. I guess the only thing good out of it was the nice lady who did switch us at 3 am and the apology we got.
Great hotel. Very quiet. Very well kept up. Room was very clean and beds were wonderful to sleep in. Fantastic hotel. I stay up to 4 times a year there. I highly recommend this hotel, if your looking for a safe and very clean and quiet and helpful front desk people . This is the place to stay.
So, I stayed in room 812 at the Sheraton Suites Columbus Worthington between October Sunday, 10-17 (7 days). During my stay, I experienced poor front desk, cleaning/maintenance, breakfast service. Here is the reason why I have graded this hotel 1 out of 10:Cleaning:The room was not cleaned properly when I checked in. I submitted multiple requests to clean the same day and multiple follow-ups days after, and there was no attempt to clean the room. There were no cleaning services for the entire 7 days. Whenever I call the front desk, I was made aware that someone is on the way to clean, and it was never fulfilled. The front desk never followed up on the cleaning status. The room also had bugs on the wall and small insects (Evidence available). The carpet smells like dead animals and stains on some portions of the carpet (Evidence available).Maintenance:The toilet kept flushing/ running at midnight and early mornings.Room:Whiles the room has 2 separate TVs, great for adults/Kids. The room is not equipped with long-stay accessories like cutlery, etc. There is no proper seating for nosiness travelers to work from the hotel room. The fridge in the room smells like it has never been cleaned. The entire room itself smells like there has been a dead animal.Breakfast:The hotel does not offer free breakfast. As a Gold Elite, I was issued 2 free breakfasts for myself and 3 children below age 15. On the first use, we were allowed to use the free ticket at no extra charge. On the 2nd/last use, the server charged an additional $12.00 even though I informed him/her that is a free ticket for all (adult/children). I ended up adding a $4.00 tip. The hotel breakfast is tasteless, with not many choices even though is advertised as a continental breakfast. The quality of breakfast is below average, likewise the service.Pool:The pool was mostly closed for the entire 7day stay.Front Desk:The front desk wasn’t welcoming. I am familiar with, front desks that are happier, welcoming, and available to customer needs. This front desk at the Sheraton looks unhappy and unprofessional.Pet Friendly:The hotel advertises is pet friendly, but I wasn’t informed I will be around pets on my room floor… The receptionist should have at least asked if I am interested in a pet-friendly room/floor. I am even not sure if the hotel has a special room available for individuals allergic to pets. I saw pets in the same elevator I was using and on the same floor. The elevator has a pet smell.During my checkout on Sunday 10/17 morning. The gentleman in front of me had similar complaints about hotel cleanliness. I heard the front desk offering a discount to the dissatisfied guest. The front desk informed me that I will receive my points back and more after I complained. However, I have not received any of those promises. Overall, this hotel is poorly managed, and I will never return or recommend this hotel. Bring your cleaning supplies if you end up staying at this hotel or prepare for the unexpected.
You like to be greeted and welcomed...didnt happen. Be told about the hotel the amenities and that didnt happen, Im a rewards member wasnt asked I had to initiate that, knew nothing about the area. Wasnt overly cleaned and cleaned while we were trying to go to our room. Bad stay and paid way too much then was charged for breakfast and we didnt even eat there!!
We have a new favorite getaway place. This rates as the best place we have stayed in many years. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated and super clean. The staff was fantastic and the decor in the Entry and Lobby was trendy and beautiful. We loved the fact that there was an indoor and outdoor pool. The ambiance was phenomenal and we plan to come back and stay again the next time we take a long weekend. The hotel is centrally located in a great area. My favorite part of the stay was that there were no surprises. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. We have recommended this to all our friends that are headed to the Columbus.
Positive: Overall the rooms are nice and the Customer Rep on the evening shift was very polite and helpful. Negative: On 9.30.2021 the floor was dirty & there was hair on the carpet & towels. On 10.2.21 the 1st rm was freezing so the CSR moved us to another rm which was also very cold so he brought up addl. blankets and said he would have the GM call our room....no call.

Positive: The location of the hotel is great. There¿s a lot of shopping centers and food places to eat at within less than 10 miles from the hotel. I also love the layout of the hotel room. If you travel with kids there¿s doors between the sitting area for pr Negative: I didn¿t like the fact the room was not cleaned properly. There were red stains in the carpet. It also didn¿t look like they¿ve clean the sink area because I could see soap scum on the sink tray were they provide the face towels and soaps.
The hotel was nice and so was the room. The service was terrible however and for this reason I will never be back. House keeping must have made a mistake in starting to make my bed without my request. I came back to sleep only to find my bed torn apart. When I complained I had to complain 3 times over 3 hrs without them taking care of it. They never apologized, instead only saying that “it wasn’t possible” that a housekeeper had done that. I didn’t take my own pillow cases and sheets! I have never experienced such terrible service.
When we checked into the room, the carpet was not vacuumed and the wooden floor portion of the room was not mopped. I had two toddlers with me and one is crawling. I went to the reception desk, asked them to clean the room. The next morning we requested the room be mopped and cleaned. When we came back to the hotel later that evening, the room still wasnt cleaned and I had to go back to the front desk again. Simply, the service was horrible.
This hotel has an excellent location, great staff and feels CLEAN. We were in town with family for the weekend. When we arrived, we were told our room had flooded but they changed our accommodations and upgraded us. During our stay, we noticed there were a bunch of little things that need some TLC and fixes. For example, the deadbolts don’t lock and you had to push/pull the door very hard to get in and most times, the lock wouldn’t catch, the clock and charging stations did not work in the walls, the lighting is poor, the curtains in the bedroom would not open so they were closed the entire time, and we were awakened by flashing lights from the pool at 3am that seemed to malfunction. The pros- great location to highways and food- nice staff and the hotel was clean! The pools were nice and well kept- other than the lights. I hope some of these little things can be fixed because this hotel could be a gem.
If it werent for the plumbing issues with the toilet (overflowed twice with zero toilet paper used and gurgled all night) it would have been better. On top of that, I had to clean the gross coffee pot and run it through multiple rinse cycles to get it usable. The staff was very nice and the hotel was nice looking. But the room itself was a bit frustrating.
This hotel my God is wonderful. The please is calm, clean, and quiet. You enjoy the serenity of the environment and the bar. I love this place, this is my second time here and will still spend more times here. I definitely will recommend this place to any lovers, couples who needs some time for 2. Thanks you, The Sheraton community.
We typically always stay here when visiting and attending a OSU football game. The renovations recently completed so make everything look nice and sleek. There are a few issues that should be addressed…1) The flooring in the living area, although is very pretty and clean, creates loud acoustics. I can’t imagine if someone was in the room next to us how loud it would be. 2) The shower floor is EXTREMELY slippery! I almost slipped a few times while showering. This could be a catastrophe if an elderly individual were to fall. Overall, experience was good.
I stayed here on a business trip and was more than pleased at the quality of the room and the incredible staff. Needed a late checkout on a Friday before a holiday weekend and they were kind enough to accommodate me although they were fully booked for that evening. The manager was over the top pleasant and helpful. The food and beverage director was so personable and his passion for his position really shone through in our conversations. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was amazing! I loved the separate spaces for the living room and bedroom, especially since i was there for an extended period of time. I ate at the restaurant and was very pleased with my meal at dinner time. Personally, the elevators gave me pause because the doors would sometimes get stuck and the lights while waiting often didnt work. Other than that this place was fantastic.
Although this Sheraton is a Marriott property, it is not up to the Marriott standards, especially for business travelers. Cleanliness: I picked up and disposed of 2 plastic bottles and a food wrapper that were next to my car in the parking lot. Exercise Room: of the 8 aerobic machines, only 2 were working, and none of the elliptical trainers. 2 had not working signs, but had not been repaired. The yoga mats were filthy and two of the foam rollers were worn, all should be replaced. There was no sanitizer in the auto sprayer or any other dispenser until I called the front desk. Room: The room was not serviced the first day, and when I called the front desk they told me they didnt do it unless I asked, before 9:00 a.m. the next day (I could not request that evening!). I called down the next morning to housekeeping and was assured that it would be done, but was not, nothing done the second day. I contacted the desk and they told me theyd refresh the room, which apparently meant dropping off 10 towels and some coffee, but not taking any towels or the garbage, and the can by the door (coffee maker) was full. Some refresh! I was promised a full cleaning the day I checked out.....Sundries: I needed a razor, and when I went to purchase was told they had none. There was no effort to help, so I went to the closest CVS (NOT conveniently located) and bought some. THOUGHT - go buy a 10 pack of cheap razors until the order comes in. Check out: I was planning to relate some of these items to the day managers but, when checking out, neither asked me about my stay, after 3 nights. The check out person started to print my receipt instead of emailing, and it seemed a nuisance to have to check my email and send it.The only, ONLY, bright spot was the breakfast server, Rex, who did his best with a paltry offering of breakfast, at least the coffee was strong and hot! He also helped me and my guest to a private room and brought water, and a very good attitude. Frankly, the manager should be replaced and the staff retrained ASAP.
Had a 50+ room block for my wedding over this past weekend. My guests all had issues with the cleanliness of the rooms as well as the heating and cooling systems. The day staff was extremely rude to myself and my guests when we were checking in. The room that I stayed in on my wedding night was never refreshed with clean sheets and towels and the room was only stocked with decaf coffee. The lobby had a small cup of Starbucks coffee you could purchase for 2.75. The hotel provided us with complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries which were delivered at 6:30pm when we weren’t arriving to the hotel until after 11:30pm. The strawberries were soggy and inedible when we arrived with a note addressed to us as my maiden name and not my husbands last name. The hotel was also to provide us with a 12 person shuttle for our wedding party which they confirmed on Friday with us and they arrived in a 8 passenger van. I was highly disappointed with this hotel and their inability to remedy their mistakes.
We are local to the area and I booked an overnight it stay to celebrate my daughters tenth birthday just her and I. Unfortunately, it rained and not only was the indoor pool disgusting overcrowded and the floor a sloppy mess but our bedroom literally leaked. The rain from outside leaked into our hotel room with a constant drip. I called guest services who at first did nothing. When we left to grab dinner outside the hotel I stopped by the front desk and at that point they did call maintenance. Marlin came to the room right away and HE was very nice. The only room they could move us to was across the hall right next to the stairs( no thanks) the room was freezing cold (no thanks) and the view was terrible as well as dark as night ( no thanks x2). This overnight was important to us as it was the first time she was able to get away since the pandemic. Very disappointing experience. Shane because the rooms were clean and the decor pleasant- aside from some sort of red stain the was on the carpet by the bed!?!?! Expected much more and was a subpar experience to say the least.
Everything About This Hotel Is Extraordinary All The Way From Top Of Management Down To The Cleaning Staff. My Room Was Spotless An Cozy. The Front Desk Employee Carlos Made Everything About My Stay Great Thanks To His Great Service And Recommendations For Food. The Restaurant And Food Inside The Hotel Was Immaculate And They Made me Feel As If I Was Someone Of Importance Soon As I Entered The Building. I Can Proudly Say I Am A Permanent Customer Of The Sheraton Suites Hotel Columbus
Was in a wedding party and booked 15+ rooms. We called, spoke to someone, and requested to check in at 2 pm. We couldn’t check in until 4 pm. We finally got to our room and the AC/heat was broken. They told us all the rooms have this issue and they had no other rooms available to put us in. We literally have a wedding to get ready for. We stayed in a suite and had 5 people staying in there. They gave us 3 towels, no blankets for the pull out couch, and when we called the front desk, no one answered until we called for the 3rd time. The maintenance guys were nice at least and left a handwritten note apologizing about the AC. Other than that, nothing else happened that’s worth more than 2 stars. The showers weren’t even clean. The elevators were half broken as well. Not enough carts to carry our luggage to the rooms. Would not recommend. I even booked with my Amex card so I could get upgrades and early check in. They did not accommodate at all. 👎
I have stayed at the Sheraton prior to my current stay. The room was not thoroughly inspected and clean prior to my occupancy of the room. I will start off with the first room I was given. The AC did not work, the air was on the lowest setting. Hotel rooms come with phones, there was no phone in site, I had to call the front desk from my cell phone. There was only a recycle bin in in room, not a trash can. There were crumbs on the floor, appeared to be missed by house keeping. The barn door literally detached from the bracket and the bracket fell and almost harmed someone. I picked the bracket up it was heavy, could of really harmed someone. I notified the maintenance technician when he came up to the room. He advised me I needed to switch rooms, I agreed to because it was a HUGE safety issue. The move was a huge inconvenience. I was hosting my daughters 8th birthday party. I had to move the cake, decor, gifts and kids- with ZERO assistance from staff. I was moved to a new room. Again this room was not properly inspected a little cleaner than the other room but could have used improvement. The AC worked which was a plus! The bathroom sink was clogged, had to call maintenance once again to unclog the sink. Under the dresser was dirt and debris, mens old spice deodorant left under the dresser on floor. Also the fridge in the room did not keep my orange juice or my cream cheese cold. The pool downstairs could have been slightly cleaner. The price of the room and the location of the hotel, the ambiance and customer service delivered was not 5 star. The issues reported to the night shift staff were not handled in a professional manner. The manager on shift offered me breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience. I did not need or want the vouchers. Once that was expressed, the manager took off $58.75 for the room. I am unsure how that was the magic number for the inconvenience. I wanted to book at the Renaissance Hotel in Westerville. I regret choosing the Sheraton for my daughters party. So many inconveniences and little accommodations for the inconveniences. I do not want special treatment. As a customer (returning customer), show me that you appreciate and value my business to your establishment.
First time staying here. Floors in room are not clean. Fingerprints are on many surfaces. Carpeting in hallways looks dirty (it may be the colors, but still looks dirty). Signs in parking lot are large stating “You assume all risk”, leaving you to think your car will be gone in the morning. Did I mention the floors are dirty?I understand what a challenge it is to hire and keep employees today. Nonetheless, this is not acceptable. We usually stay in Hilton hotels and will not stay in another Marriott.
Our stay (2 people in a king room with pull-out couch) was fantastic. Our check-in was simple, quick, and efficient, all staff that we interacted with was kind and courteous, our room and the shared areas were all incredibly clean and well cared for, and we were especially happy to see our incidental deposit released the same day we checked out. We would absolutely visit again!
We reserved 20-25 rooms for a wedding block and had many compliments on our hotel choice from our guests. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and had great follow up with us regarding our wedding guests and a brunch we held. The food at the brunch was delicious! I dealt with a few people during the process and all were wonderful! We received many positive comments from guests about the cleanliness and comfort. Would highly recommend!
I was an employee at this establishment and it was by far the worst job I have ever had. I was harassed multiple times by guests and coworkers alike, never listened to by the managers when I had suggestions, and I was forced to make up excuses for why the maid and maintenance services were always lacking.
My only complain is that the ac in the hotel room didn’t get cool. also the breakfast didn’t have any hot food because of covid so be aware of that. otherwise it was a very nice hotel and the staff was amazing. we stayed for our 10 year anniversary and the front desk gave us some nice treats for the occasion! definitely would stay again!
Was checked in quickly and very professionally. Everything on site is clean and was absolutely perfect in my opinion. The rooms are a little bit on the ticket side. We got the King suite and it felt very tight with a 11 year old and 3 year old, with Mom and Dad. Also there is no reason to spend for the bay window upgrade. It is a view of a parking lot and I am sure you could get that with the other room.
The hotel was beautiful and updated. Beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. Food was amazing specially Margherita pizza and the spinach & artichoke dip. Good prices for drinks and food as well. Only let down was the outdoor pool was closed and the indoor pool was cold.
The space provided for the hotel room was what we were going for as a family of five traveling in the Columbus area. We booked a room that had two separate queens sectioned off in their own bedroom, a living room area with a sleeper sofa, and an additional bedroom with a king bed next the the bathroom. This was perfectly suited for our needs. The hotel was extremely quiet for sleeping, and that was with us staying on the 5th floor (which was about the middle of the hotel). The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is impressive looking and welcoming to walk into. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool, even with scheduling times for that due to covid concerns, but that worked out fine for us. We stayed two nights and breakfast was grab and go the first day-but free. It was fine, for what it was and we all found something to eat, even though it was nothing exciting. The next morning they transitioned to a $7/person breakfast buffet. Except there was nothing hot and nothing too exciting, making that a price that a family would not want to pay! Had it been included with the stay price, I think I would have understood that better. The good news is that there was a Bob Evans right around the corner, and we were able to enjoy a hot, family sized breakfast for less than $7/person. :) Some of the bedding could have been better washed, as stains are not what you want to find in any room. Overall though, it was a very nice stay and a place we would stay at again if we were in the area!
There were plenty of issues with this hotel.Air not workingBlinds falling downRoom changesThe pool being out of serviceI was very disappointed with this hotel. I was there over the summer to style a friend for her wedding and thought it was a great place. I guess it seems that way if youre not the kne staying there
Every worker was extremely friendly, nice, and helpful. From the front desk, to the maids in the hallways, I have had nothing but good experience. I came in Friday night at 2am and the guy at the front desk was so nice, he was even able to give me a toothbrush and toothpaste when asked! Impeccable service, and the hotel room was soooo wonderful! I would definitely stay here again.
Stay was decent , but I’m rating 3 stars because our room floor was completely soaked when we checked in and I completely wiped out walking into the room. I already have a knee injury so honestly it was pretty bad..and it would have been even worse if it was someone over 30. My partner just thought it was part of the room but upon further inspection there were literal suds all over the floor. We didn’t even check in early so they definitely should’ve made sure the floors were dry. I reached out to them about my grievances toward the room via the Marriott Bonvoy app chat and they never got back to me. I would’ve went to the front desk about it but when I checked in there was a newer, older man working the desk so I didn’t want to throw that on him because I was definitely irate. Thanks to the fall I’m back on my knee brace. Appreciate the attempted cleanliness of the room but next time prioritize the safety and concern of your guests. Do better. Thanks.
We have stayed here several times in the past. We were very excited to stay here again after their recent remodel. The hotel looks nice and is pleasing to the eye, but... And there is a big but here.. there are a lot of things that could have been done better. They have the same old microwaves and mini fridges, and not everything was updated. The mini fridge in our room does not work right, and the air conditioner does not work right. When we got there our room was hot, i had to set it on 60 and turn the fan all the way up, it took several hours for it to cool off, we then had to turn it down because it got really cold, so we set it to 64 and it was really hot again! The pool area was not updated, and the hot tub is blocked off and cant be used. There is no way i would ever pay again what i paid for this room. I would stay again but definitely at a cheaper rate, not the almost 200 dollars i spent per night on this room.
I enjoyed my recent stay at the Sheraton Suites Worthington. The room appeared to be recently remodeled and was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The outside pool was inviting and well maintained. The lounge chairs were comfortable. There were several restaurants nearby and also a movie theater. I would choose to stay at this hotel on a future trip to this area.
At the Sheraton Suites, the rooms, lobby area and bar were all modern and well-designed. The breakfast buffet is a good value and the pool was an extra that kids enjoyed. The only things I would improve are the overhead lighting in the rooms (theres only very dim lamps) and add a fan to the bathroom. Otherwise a great stay and easy check-in/out process!
I do like my Sheratons. This one met all my expectations and was made exceptionally enjoyable by the Rex, the server at breakfast. I drink unsweetened ice tea for breakfast, something not normally available here. Rex made some just for me all the days I was there. Exceptional service! Ill definitely stay here the next time Im in town.
Nicely decorated and clean lobby. Rooms are spacious and nice walking showers on the King suites. House keeping not doing such a good job cleaning the room and changing stained sheets. Breakfast was a to go bag and not what I expected. Staff friendly and professional. Salma was great and took care of our problem with the room however the house keeping didnt follow instructions. Over all a good stay.
Had a terrible time working with Sheraton Columbus Worthington with our wedding room block. We went through 3 different sales managers and were never updated on when our room block was filled even though they told us we would be. Not only that but they could not uphold their full contract which included a shuttle bus for our wedding party after our reception. Guests had constant issues with cleanliness and temperature of the rooms. The day staff could not seem to care about their guests at all. The only shining light was the night staff that were the only ones who seemed to care. Do not book a wedding block here.
I stayed here for 3 nights and was mostly impressed by the property. The suite was big and clean and I slept well. The gym had broken equipment and the pools were closed the first day there. The breakfast is just cereal, pastries and toast/bagels, not the best but for me was ok. I did not have dinner there but did go to the bar one night it was nice but closed at 10pm. If they get the pool, gym and food figured out it will be a great place to stay. The staff was very good!
The first room wasn’t perfect but we are still in a pandemic so I wasn’t going to fuss about it. I bring my own microban Lysol and Clorox wipes to every hotel anyway. Found a blood stain on the mattress pad, no trash can in the bathroom, just overall seemed like someone had just left and housekeeping changed sheets and that’s it.the lady at the front desk was great about moving us. The next room was okay but the shower has someone else’s hair on the wall, tissues look used like the box wasn’t thrown away, and the bed itself isn’t as clean as I would hope for. It’s probably a great getaway for families with spacious rooms and a cool aesthetic. What has happened to Sheraton? Even in other states there have been problems. The lobby and entrance is beautiful but not worth wondering what you might pack home. I don’t want a refund I just won’t be back to any Sheraton.
The Staff were so friendly and helpful. Salma was the Best!!! She went above and beyond to help me with an issue I had with Expedia (I will not use them again, I will only book direct through the hotel from now on). The hotel was very clean and updated, the staff were all so family friendly and pet friendly. My family and I had such a Great time with all of you at Sheraton Columbus Worthington. Thank you for all of your hard work that you do to make it such a great place to stay and thanks for an unforgettable mini vacay!!!!
The last time my husband & I came to the Columbus area we stayed here & we LOVED it! We decided to stay here again this past weekend for a family trip with our 2 sons. (1 year old & 3 years old) for starters I had a mom moment and forgot our pack & play. Went to the front desk to ask for one.. they had one in our room within 10 minutes (lifesaver) the room was pretty warm when I arrived with the kids I tried turning the temperature down, when my husband arrived he tried messing with it as well. We felt cool air coming out so we thought it was good to go we left & did our plans we had. When we returned about 11:30pm the room was still very warm. Again he tried turning it down we felt cool air so we just waited for it to cool off. An hour later our youngest son still wouldnt fall asleep & we knew it was because it was so warm. We ourselves were uncomfortable so I went back down to the front desk & explained our issue. They were quick to send a maintenance man up to look at it & they said if it wasnt an easy fix they would move us to a different room on the same floor (200s) it wasnt an easy fix so the maintenance man went to see what room we would be moved to.. he comes back up just as we finished packing everything up & said we were being moved to the 9th floor ( club level ) not what we were expecting & so greatful to be in a cool room. The following night my parents came to stay and requested the room right beside us because it was a joint room & they were able to give it to them so we had both rooms for our family stay! We also had a wonderful bartender Diana Sunday night! She was awesome!! Very friendly & knew the drinks we had requested!! Overall I love this hotel & we will continue to stay there!! We have yet to try the food in the restaurant (def will our next stay ) but the service & drinks are good! Not over priced ! The hotel is beautiful! This time we got to go swimming & we love the indoor pool as well! Its nothing huge but for our family it was perfect! The customer service & hospitality at this hotel is AMAZING!! 10/10 recommend!! I felt so bad and as if I was being difficult, but THEY DID NOT MAKE ME FEEL THAT WAY!! They did everything to accommodate us & make sure we enjoyed our stay! As we were leaving the one staff member maybe even a manager i think had a conversation with my 3 year old about swim time & hope he had a blast during our stay! Which we did! We love this place!
Upon arriving they gave me the key to the wrong room. After going back downstairs they asked if I touched anything and then handed me the right key and then turned around and gave another guest the key that I just turned in. Didnt even bother to check the room, especially with this pandemic going on. Upon entering the correct room, there was a half bitten gummy bear sitting on the beds headboard in dust that hadnt been touched in months. There was food and something crusty on the king bed comforter and sheets and I was told that I must have put it there and I was only in the room for 15 mins. Didnt offer to change them or anything. The pillows had stains on them as well. When we pulled out the sofa bed, crumbs were everywhere so it had to be wiped off before letting my little one sleep there. There was no fitted sheet for the mattress so I had to take the sheet off my bed for my little to sleep. I dont think I will stay here again. But.......I guess you pay for what you get. Will be staying elsewhere when I go to Columbus. The bar inside was excellent and there bloody Marys are perfect besides the price. $88 for 4 drinks 😳 Check your room closely when staying here!
The woman at the front desk seemed annoyed and quite cold with us. The room was quite filthy. There were dead Flys in our window sill, Brown gunk at the base of our toilet, the refrigerator had some sticky stuff in it. Dust allover the lamps. Our remote didnt work. Overall I wasnt impressed. For a beautiful hotel I was extremely disappointed on the upkeep and condition of our room.
We loved the swimming pool, the location of the property and the layout of the room! I was a little put off by some of the upkeep (rust stain in the shower, noisy sliding door and some unknown substance on the windowsill) but overall it was a great stay for our family! Close to pretty much anything you can imagine to do in Columbus!
The main reason we stayed is because we have two young boys and having a bedroom thats behind a door was invaluable. However, the room wasnt clean. It was fine overall, but the windows were dirty, the floor had a weird stick to it, and I could tell it wasnt well vacuumed on the rug. To the hotels credit, they did come and vacuum again on request. The TVs were large and nice, but the satellite reception was so bad we couldnt actually watch anything. Putting guest Netflix on the TVs would be a far better option. The beds were also fine but not luxurious like you generally look for in a hotel bed. Sheets were a bit scratchy. I pay close attention to details, and sadly they were just lacking here. Dirty elevators, dusty vents in the room, and it didnt smell fresh. I would stay again out of necessity only.
The rooms here are FANTASTIC! Very clean and the overall design is very modern and feels very upscale. The lobby and bar also have a very luxurious aesthetic. The operation of sales, Salma, was very accommodating and worked with us to make sure our stay was nothing less than perfect. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars. I highly recommend staying here!
Hotel was way overbooked so elevators took forever. The Health Department came in and shut down the pool during our stay. The front desk is super ride. If you asked for anything it was a bother. Parking is limited they almost ran out of parking spaces. There is NO common area, especially outside. We actually saw groups hanging out in the parking lot because there is NO place to sit. You are essentially stuck in your room. Breakfast is $7.00 per person for a Continental breakfast without warm food. You can have yogurt and toast, not worth $7.00. The location was okay had a bunch of restaurants near by. There are a lot better hotels around.
I made reservations at a hotel downtown. Did not know the parking rates would be astronomical. Rented a room at a hotel someone else recommended. Hotel was disgusting. Never even took my luggage into this particular hotel.Made my reservation online for the Sheraton. Check-in was fast with amazing customer service. The room was clean, nice, and comfortable. A little small, but is was a last minute reservation on a holiday weekend. If ever in the area again, I would definitely book again with no hesitation!!
We have used this hotel in the past, it has always been nice. Our trip this go round wasnt so nice. The carpet in our room was stained and nasty, and the rooms seem to have shrunk. There was a mask mandate in Columbus, and about half the guests were walking around without masks. Staff said nothing.
Positive: Good location. Lobby clean. Friendly staff. Negative: Check in was bad; they kept having issues and then once I got a room, someone else was assigned the same room as us. Most of the hotel was fairly dirty. Towel rack was broken and shower had horrible water pressure. Neither pool was open.
Not what we expected for a Marriott property. Nice rooms, poor hotel amenities; 1 working ice machine for entire hotel, 1 laundry room with 2 washers and 1 working dryer for entire hotel with hundreds of ball players who needed to launder uniforms daily. Pool closed for a chemical problem on a 90 degree day of playing ball and returning to hotel to find they couldn’t swim!
Wonderful property and amazing front desk staff!! Check in was a breeze and Karissa was a delight and extremely helpful. Saturday night I called down to the restaurant to order dinner and couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. I finally called down to the front desk and I was transferred to Selma the manager. She apologized and took my order herself. When I went down to pick up my food I had an even longer wait as there was one person working the entire bar and restaurant. I asked to speak to the restaurant manager to figure what was going on and was told they were not there which I was surprised to hear with how busy they were. I was extremely frustrated and went to the front desk and spoke with Selma again and she ended up discounting my check. She gave me her direct number and told me to call her if I needed anything else. You don’t see that level of service every day. She absolutely turned this experience around!
Beautiful hotel in a great location with easy access to everything. Definitely a lack of communication amongst the front desk and their managers or other staff members. Make sure if you are staying and you need anything serviced or anything from the front desk you call several times during the day to remind them because they will forget.
Decided on an impromptu staycation with the family and Sheraton Worthington was the most convenient to our location. Hotel was nicely remodeled and we were greeted by a very courteous front desk clerk and the management was kind to let us check in a little earlier which was much appreciated. Upon arriving at the room, we have discovered none of the surfaces were wiped and cleaned as stains, cup rings were quite visible which led us to think if the rest of the room was sanitized properly. Half used lotion was also mixed in with new ones along with dirty vent cover next to the shower. The biggest let down was the outdoor pool, we were told it was also recently renovated but upon entering the water we have discovered floating tissues, hairballs, and other trash floating and accumulating on the bottom. It appears there is an huge oversight with maintenance and housekeeping on this newly renovated property and is extremely unsettling for the guests to find such a low standard at a Marriott property. We went home to sleep that night and did not stay.
Checked in and went to the assigned room, there were ants. Told staff and they immediately did a room change (greatly appreciated). When we got to the new room it smelled like cigarette smoke and the toilet seat had burns on it. The sliding room door got stuck and we could only go through the bathroom to get in/out. Some surfaces had spots on it as if it was not completely cleaned. When I checked out I advised the staff of these concerns in the 2nd room and it was ok thanks for telling me. Never again will I stay or recommend this hotel. Bar/restaurant staff provided great service. Pool and pool area dirty!
Our stay was amazing, me and my wife stayed here for our Anniversary. Hotel staff was amazing, especially the bar tender lol. My wife loved the fire pits outside and told me that everytime we come to Columbus we will be staying here. So you all will be getting a lot of our money. Thank you so much for making our Anniversary the best one yet.
Had to wait a hour and a half past check in time to get in our room. Was told 30 minutes after 4 o’clock then i was told about 10 minutes then it became 30 minutes again then was told there getting my room ready now. After another 20 minutes we finally got in our room. Was not told how much the deposit was and did not authorize a deposit but one still came out. When I asked about it I was told every where charges a deposit and I would get it back in 3-5 days not to worry about it. That’s not the point I was getting at. I’ve stayed at Sheratons many times but this one was really let me down.
They charged us for eating at the restaurant in the hotel that we never stepped foot in. Then charged us another $100 for no reason at all. Both barn doors in our room were broken and wouldnt open/close. I called the front desk as soon as we got there and noticed it. They had people come up twice to fix and and they couldnt. The lady at the front desk assured me that they knew it was broken for a long time and I wouldnt be charged. Yet here we are fighting an extra $150 in charges. Also the pictures on the website make the rooms and pool look huge. They are not. The rooms are super tiny. Several guests were upset about this.
Pros:Doors are tap to open (key card) and unlike other similarly priced placed near here they actually work!Decor is comfy and modern, bed (king) was comfortable and clean. Bathroom functional but not huge. Tvs (one on living room side, the other in bedroom) were large l, high quality and easy to hook up to my laptop for streaming.Cons:Hardwood in living room was lightly sticky in my work boots, and one of the decorative metal work panels on the sliding doors between rooms was peeling up, Understandable that cleaning/maintenance would take a hit during covid, just hope it doesnt stay that way.
We have found our new hotel when we visit family in Westerville/Worthington. The new renovation was outstanding with a comfortable layout. The staff won us over with their superb service. Many thanks to Fikret Pintol ,Tracy,Rex,Anna and Dion at the pool.We look forward to the many visits we have in Ohio staying there.!
Two night stay without a working toilet in the room with no resolution. Customers are practically held hostage once this outfit has your credit card info. They are taking your hard earned money no matter what. My other option was to go the competitor down the street but either way they would charge me for my suite. Hotel was NOT to capacity and I couldnt get another room!
The hotel is beautiful and clean. There are signs everywhere reminding people that masks are mandatory. Even with all the signage we saw a gentleman in the lobby without a mask. Before we had a chance to report it to the front desk a manager popped out of nowhere with a basket of masks headed towards the illiterate guest. She was lighting fast! Thank you for taking the proper measures to keep us all safe.
The overall hotel it self was nice, and in a nice location as far as restaurants and entertainment. The pool was open and so was the bar/restaurant. The club was closed. The hotel was very lively. My room was nice but the surfaces in the room as far as counter tops tables and shower were all dirty and I had to wipe them down myself. The fridge handle was broken off also. Its a beautiful room for the price but I wish it was more sanitary. Guest services desk was also very professional.
I cant say enough about how accommodating the entire staff is at this hotel. Salma, was wonderful and took care of us as if we were family. We were part of a traveling baseball team and the rooms were perfect for our needs; spacious and comfortable for longer stays. Bar, lobby, and rooms have all been updated and very clean. Lastly, this hotel is walking distance to several restaurants and only a 2-3 mile drive to fast food, Walmart, Marshals, fine dining etc. We will definitely be back.
Nice staff, even nice maintenance and cleaning staff. Their countertops had stain, some I was able to get off and some not. Toilet doesnt flush right, like the pipe is linked to the bathroom sink and it sounds like it has a back flush. Talked and showed pics to front desk and they said they cant do anything as Marriott corporate cannot bring china staffing to finish the renovation and sand down and seal granite countertops. My flooring was so sticky, every walk, my sandal heal was stuck to the floor. I requested to ask the floors to be mopped and front desk told me the chemical they use cause the stickiness. The cleaner had to clean the bucket of water out that is the size of restaurant use, but inside bucket was black...I dont think they clean that bucket out often. The 3 star is for nice staffing and updated shower and bedroom.
1st room was not clean on any of the counter or tables surfaces. Bathroom floor was dirty. 2nd room was cleaner, but bathroom floor was still dirty. (Photo is a lightly wet towel I used to mop the 2nd bathroom floor) Unfortunately, this is typical of most hotels at this price point and worse below.Staff was friendly and responsive. Still disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the rooms.
This place is dirty. Toilet is not attached to floor. Also wrong tank lid on toilet. Moldy and missing caulk in and around shower pan. Room does not hold temperature, it stays hot most of the time. My wife booked us this hotel because of the pool but of course it was not working. I would have checked us into another hotel at that point but unfortunately I paid with my debit card. Meaning the full amount for the stay is held as a deposit leaving me with not enough money to go anywhere else. 2 of the 3 locks didnt work. Also, be careful closing sliding doors, you might pinch your fingers.
Overall things were ok. There were some maintenance items that need attention. For example, the room phone did not work, the TV / Remotes had very limited functionality. Main floor mens room was out of order. But staff addressed my concerns effectively and courteously.
Positive: The price was too good to be true... and it was... Negative: If you are looking for the bare minimum, this hotel is for you. As you drive up, you notice the landscaping is out of control and the trash cans were overflowing. The front desk clerk was the only one on site and was gone for about 10-15 minutes...
No, it was extremely dirty, upon our arrival there were ants crawling on the desk. Also, there were gnats on the bed. We went to the front desk to ask them to change our room or clean and they did nothing. We showed the front desk pictures/videos of the unsanitary room even though we arrived to a dirty room.
Has always been one of my favorite places to stay, but doesnt seem to be much improvement in the rooms despite the recent and lengthy renovation. Rooms seem small and kind of outdated as far as wear and tear. Staff is awesome here though! Very friendly and accommodating
The food was good. The staff were friendly. The room on the other hand was...well my wife noticed 3 blood spots in the shower. We took pictures and showed the front desk. He provided another room, but quite frankly the damage was done. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and my wife felt uncomfortable after that. The new room was fine I suppose, but how fine can it be when you find blood in a room especially during this current Pandemic. I didnt ask for a rate reduction and one was not offered. Id rather make another choice the next time we make any travel plans.
We stayed at the Sheraton with some friends to celebrate NYE. The hotel was nice and clean. The suite allowed us to have separate space from our sleeping area with friends. The fridge in the room was great and allowed us to keep our refreshments cold. Great location right off of the freeway and there was a nice variety of restaurants in the area.
Upon arrival, our room was filthy. Cup rings on nearly every surface, makeup all over pillows, and a light that wouldnt stop flickering. We were moved, thankfully, but then we were denied a comforter for my children because they dont keep extras which is another serious cleanliness concern.
Not sure why my problem wasnt fixed when it was brought to the gentleman who i talked to in the morning. The evening worker tried to help the best he could, but to move rooms at 8pm when we were checking out the next morning was more of a hassle then i wanted. I was traveling with 2 small children.
Nice two night stay. Friendly staff and the suites were clean and tended to very well. Some restrictions as expected due to Corona but they had the pools open with limited guests at a time. They ran a reservation schedule to use the pools and that worked well to maintain allowable people at a time.
We stayed in 2 bedroom suite. The staff were friendly, professional and very understanding. Thanks to Bryant (manager )& Salma for all your help and making our last minute wedding memorable. They were very understanding on everything werequested . I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel and would stay there AGAIN AND AGAIN!!
I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I would change is the $100 deposit. Thats a lot of money, especially if you stay one night at a time and are booking through a 3rd party website. Which means you have to pay that $100 every morning bc they cant just move it from night to night.
There were quite a few little things that we were going to forget about, but when the major things were not cared about, it totally ruined our stay. The big things were underage guests in the pool without adult supervision. They were screaming and swimming in jeans, hoodie, sweatpants. One girl just had a t-shirt and her underwear. It was inappropriate and we were told there was nothing to do about it. We also had people running down our hall and they banged on our door. I’m not sure if anything came from that. I had never stayed at a Sheraton previously and maybe my expectations exceeded reality.
The staff. Fiki and Selma, always go above and beyond to satisfy the needs of our group during our stay. They show their appreciation for our business and work diligent to make sure that our stay is enjoyable. If there is ever an issue or request to be handled, they do it in a very expedient and professional manner. Selma and Fiki represent the Marriott well!
The Sheraton Suites Columbus Worthington is my absolute FAVORITE hotel in Columbus. Every time I am in Columbus, it is the only place I stay. The staff are all extremely helpful and accommodate in every way they can. The rooms are beautifully updated, extremely clean, and have more than enough towels and toiletries. The location is fantastic; Near to great restaurants, gyms, and shopping. I will continue to stay there for all my upcoming trips.
Beautiful suite, nice decorated with modern furnishings and superbly comfortable bed. Staff was great and excellent service. Staff went above and beyond. It seems that hotel is at the tail end of massive renovations and seems like owners have not spared any expense to renovate the hotel. Great job. I will stay here again.
The front desk staff and manager were very friendly and communication was good especially via the use of texts. The maintenance staff were extremely responsive to the TVs not working in the room but, unfortunately, were unable to fix them as it appeared to be a cable provider issue. I was somewhat surprised I wasnt offered some kid of compensation (Starpoints perhaps?) but the hotel was very busy. The Club Lounge had a nice breakfast offering of scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, cut fruit and bagels. The evening hors doeuvres were somewhat disappointing as there was only a handful of wilted cut up veggies an hour after it started. Im not sure if there was anything else at the beginning. The air conditioning was also set very high so you might want to wear a sweater. The gentleman working at the bar on the Saturday afternoon/evening was very nice and went out of his way to make great ice cream sundaes. There are only 2 elevators and its a huge property so there was quite a long wait as the hotel was full. It would be helpful to put a sign on the door to the stairs from the 7th floor saying there is no access to 9th floor (where the lounge is) so people know not to walk up and then have to walk back down.Overall, its a very nice property with caring staff and lots of parking.
I had the unfortunate opportunity of staying at this property over this past weekend. The property is dated and disgusting. The staff was also generally unhelpful. The lounge was consistently out of water, fruit, snack, etc. It appears to have been recently renovated, but had a smell and was consistently overcrowded.Even for a dated property, its apparent that the management does not take care of what they have. The carpet and walls in the corridors appear to have never been cleaned and had a stink to it.Once in my room, I was greeted to hair in the shower that I had to clean myself. The carpets were also dirty and the sheets had some questionable stains/spots. The couch in the suite portion looked well past its useful life and also covered in stains.Overall, this property does not deserve a Sheraton flag and absolutely does not meet the standard of service at a typical Starwood property. I have stayed in much lower brands that were a better experience. I spend ~200 nights per year in hotels and this was by far one of the absolute worst I have encountered.
The experience was very pleasant, from the time we checked in , until the time we checked out. We ordered room service, Jennifer was very helpful and patient explaining different menu items. The food was brought to our suite quickly. Our stay was very relaxing, we even got in the hot tub. I would recommend and stay here again.
My family and I was expecting more from this hotel. With amenities being slim at every hotel, this was by far the slimmest to say the least. They didnt even have shower gel for crying out loud and all they is stand up showers. Im afraid my family and I will not travel that far again and stay there.
The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nice. However one of the large bath towels was dirty and Im not sure how that happens. Need to step up quality control. They also had some issues in the lobby bathrooms but maybe they are trying to fix that during renovations. The breakfast was sub par on some of the menu items as well.We got the booking on a discount site but if we paid full price it would have been a bad stay.
I know we are all tired of the current pandemic, but there is a mask mandate and it was in no way enforced. This is irresponsible by the hotel staff. I also asked for some simple things (e.g. why is my shower barely warm? Can I have a late check out? And didn’t resource an answer for over 8 hours. And they ignored my check out request. Very disappointed in my stay. That said, the food was good - so there’s that at least.
Firstly, we were welcomed warmly by Bennie over the phone who assured me that our reservation was confirmed and everything would be waiting for us when we arrived later. Then when we arrived we were greeted with such friendliness it was a wonderful experience after such a long drive. When I casually mentioned that we had celebrated our wedding anniversary the day before, Bennie congratulated us and told us he would make our stay special. Little did I know how well they were going to serve us. The suites exceeded our every expectation, clean and spacious. Extra pillows waiting in the closet, an abundance of towels. A staff person knocked on the door to bring us an anniversary dessert plate. Pam served us at the room and in the restaurant during our stay and she was so good at putting us at ease and taking care of us. Our two daughters don’t know that this was out of the ordinary to be treated this way in a hotel and they are going to be so spoiled by this experience. At check in and check out, we conversed with the manager who had helped coordinate all this hard work. I’m so grateful for a perfect stay. The hotel staff was so helpful, I’d love to see this hotel get a renovation and style upgrade to match the quality of service. Will definitely stay again as our family travels through the Midwest.
The staff was very friendly and hospitable, and there was a lovely Christmas tree in the lobby, but it was clear that the carpets in the hallways and the rooms had not been vacuumed or shampooed in a very long time. The equipment in the fitness center, for instance, was old, and when I tried to use the touch screens on one of them, it barely worked and was incredibly frustrating. The timer on the hot tub didnt wind down and had to be manually shut off. The toilet paper and especially the facial tissues were painful and rough as sandpaper. It was evidently at one time a very nice hotel but now seems run-down.
My family and I had a wonderful experience! We decided to celebrate our daughters birthday at a hotel with a pool during this covid pandemic. Sheraton Hotel did a wonderful job making sure everyone was safe. And everything was super clean. I always saw someone cleaning! With covid they made sure that everyones pool experience was safe, clean and fun! All of the hotel workers were friendly and always smiling! We will be going again some time very soon!!! Maybe without kids this time and really enjoy their restaurant The Grill.

2022-05-25Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable suite. The indoor pool wasnt the nicest, a little run down/aged. Seemingly some renovation going on. Good sitting areas in the lobby and bar. Helpful kind staff. The staff did go beyond to help accommodate which I really appreciated. The only downside was I believe there was a convention on site and other guests were being very loud. It required a call to the desk to try and calm the place down.

2022-03-03I’ve stayed at this hotel over 30 nights in the past year - maybe more. And every time is an exceptional experience. The rooms are updated and refreshed. Separate rooms for living and sleeping. The hotel has a restaurant and bar - Tracey works most evenings and she is so friendly and personable. Anna at breakfast is the nicest as well - always smiling and checking in, a lovely face and attitude to wake up with. It’s clear that the management trains their employees to always be nice and friendly. If I ever have an issue, they immediately apologize and fix it.

2021-12-26Stayed here while driving from Kentucky to Maine. This is actually one of the nicer hotels Ive stayed in during my travels. The lobby is very well designed, and is open concept into a bar/restaurant at night, and then breakfast buffet in the morning. All of the staff were very friendly and professional while interacting with guests. The room cleanliness was an 8 out of 10. Overall everything was clean, and was clear of smells. The only thing we saw that could have been improved on room cleanliness was a couple missed surfaces that needed wiping.

2022-03-28I would give 2.5 if I could. We stayed in a King suit this weekend. Here were the issues we had.1.) Room was not clean- found dog food on floor from previous stays. Counters were dirty.2.) For a 2 bedroom suit, space was TINY3.) You have to pay for the breakfast buffet (12$) and it was HORRIBLE with nothing on it.4.) pool very TINY and the water was very cloudy.5.) There was no soap in the bathroom when we arrived. Had to call for the amenities that should have been there.Positives:1.) Bed was comfortable.2.) Pool area was warm

2022-02-07Positive: Location was perfect for my needs. Staff was very accomodating, polite, professional, and wanting to help. Bed was large and comfortable. Negative: A bit run down for what I expected from a Sheraton. Lower quality than expected for bar and restaurant. Room was uncomfortably hot and could not be cooled off adequately. Room was small for a suite and there was no desk.

2022-04-29FRIDAY, APRIL 29 2022Apparently customer service is extinct. When I went to renew my current reservation, I was told I was going to have to pay an additional $100 deposit for the new reservation, but for the same room. So basically for one week I already paid $100 deposit plus $93 for the first night, then they wanted another $100 deposit and $850 for seven nights!! I mean the rooms are nice dont get me wrong but for $1,150 for a week, thats a months rent at most places and thats for an entire house with probably three bedrooms and finish basement, couple bathrooms, backyard, no nagging front desk people.... And a kitchen to cook your meals in so you dont have to spend more money to buy that!! Im not sure what kind of pay that they have up there for their employees but it must be one hell of a package that they offer that they can afford something like that. I basically was asked to leave because I couldnt understand why they couldnt just transfer the first deposit to the second reservation... Why do I have to pay $200 for the same room? And because they could not give me an answer I was asked to leave.. I was not rude I simply asked a question. There was absolutely nobody in the lobby but yet I was told that I was causing a scene. I had two friends with me who saw everything unfold and I was nowhere near rude, loud, anything, which is very unusual for me. Bottom line is train your staff better so that when people ask them questions theyll actually have an answer. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE SHERATON IS BY FAR THE WORST I HAVE EVER seen!!! Especially whoever the two gentlemen were that were working today.

2022-04-26Sheraton Suites, Columbus/Worthington, OhioThis is a 1990-build hotel that was renovated in 2020. We were there three nights in April while I was having some training meetings in the area.Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The room had been renovated and we enjoyed having the separate living space and the triple black out curtains in the bedroom window. Outlets were plentiful. The rooms floors had many scuff marks from people moving furniture around.Without mentioning our elite status with Marriott, the front desk person made us feel welcome by giving us a small gift bag, our breakfast vouchers, and asking our floor preference upon check in. We didnt book and werent offered the slightly larger rooms that had bay windows.Anna, who hosts the breakfast area, is friendly and outgoing and the breakfast itself is good with eggs, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, and the usual continental breakfast items. The gentleman whom I presume is the manager is friendly and was checking frequently see that guests had all that they needed. There seemed to be a can do approach to problem solving in the staff. The two elevators could be a bit slow and noisy at times. The Club floor and lounge appeared to not be in use while we were there. Daily housekeeping was not offered while we were there, but we actually prefer it that way anyway. Linens, etc. were easily available at the front desk. The gym and indoor pool seemed nice and the indoor pool water was warm. The outdoor pool was still closed for the season while we were there. The hot water in the bathroom was some of the hottest I have ever had in a hotel. The location is good to easily get to many areas in the north half of the Columbus metro area, being just off of I-270 and US 23 and SR 315. There are a number of dining options in easy driving distance. We enjoyed our stay and had gotten a very good AAA rate. We would stay there again if in the area.

2022-02-17The bathroom could use some liquid shower soap shampoos and conditioner. Attention to cleanliness seem that there was hair all over the shower in the room big stain from either previous guests opening a drink and all over the floor a d to the closet door stained tell me room cleanliness is an issue right there. There needs to be a better option probably they organization know each weekend they are full to capacity and neglect little things that could cause spreading out of infection.

2022-04-27Could be nice but its not well cared for. The rooms are falling apart & not cleaned well. (At least mine was.) The tables had not been wiped down in a while & evidence of someones food/drink spills were clearly visible on most tables within the room. The couch was frayed, the main light in the room was broken & the decorative panel in the door had fallen out at some point & not been replaced. The lighting in the rooms was very dim in general, which is nice at night but not conducive if trying to read or work on a computer. A small annoyance was that the garbage can liners were not installed. Given the poor cleaning, it looks like they are perhaps too lazy to be bothered to open the bag for us. On the positive side, the split quarters was lovely & it was very quiet. The bed is quite comfortable as well.
