The work done on my car was just fine no complaints. Your service department has fallen off in the last year one time it took 3 hours for a oil change and then I had an appointment at 8:00 am with a confirming text when I brought the car in the service desk said it was at 11:00am did not work on my car until 11:00. This last service call the appointment was at 10:00 did not work on my car until 2:00 or so. Then I had to remind them that the service was under the 200,000 mile warranty so he said he would check and call me back but did not call back. The 200,000 mile warranty is worthless I have had all my service done at Serpentini 40 pages of history thousands of dollars spent at your service department and the service done was refused by the warranty company. I will no longer spend another dime at Serpentini I am very disappointed.
Since I moved to Ohio I have never bought a car at the sane dealership twice. I will 100% be returning here for future vehicles. No pressure or games here and great customer service throughout the whole process. Ronda helped me get into a RAM 1500 and it drives beautifully!
Low pressure and friendly staff. Having worked in the car business elsewhere, I know how pushy salespeople can get, but that wasnt the case here at all. Just courteous helpful folks, especially Erica and Tom. Great experience, and I literally dont do reviews but felt it necessary this go round.
I made an appointment at 11am for the 45,000 maintenance. I had to wait as I live 45 minutes away. I was told it would be 2-3 hours when I made the appointment last week. I got there and was informed no one “would touch my vehicle during the 12-1 meeting. The meeting ran over . I did not leave until 4:20pm. My entire day off was spent waiting. I will be looking into moving to a closer dealer for future service.
Came here looking at a car, and I got it! I’ve had Tom as a salesman 2 times now. Great salesman. Answered all the questions I had and more! Great group of salesman, just took a bit longer than I would’ve liked to sit at the dealership. That’s all part of the process though! 5 stars, would come back again and again!
I ended going with HONDA GREAT LAKES ! Never prejudge your costumers ! Am surprised the sales guy didn’t gave me another choice of car and left me go out of the lot ! Well Great Lakes made a better plus ! And I walked with a car that my wife picked up ! I worked with Serpentini due to my car accident. Its where Progressive sent me. My insurance company was not truthful with me about the time it would take to fix the damage. The team at Serpentini helped me so much by taking the time to assist with a possible loaner car. However, they fixed my car within half of the time. They were awesome and if you need something fixed, send your car there.
The customer service young lady at counter is always crazy nice and super helpful. The new young man at counter was also very nice and helpful. With the service you get with the team that is there it is always pleasant to go and sit and wait even though I know I do not have to
Absolutely the worst experience attempting to purchase a car that I have ever experienced. Set up an appointment to see a vehicle, drove 1hr 45min, sat for what seemed like forever only to be told that the vehicle hadnt even been through service and that they didnt feel comfortable showing it to me in that condition.Total waste of time and gas. Should have told me it wasnt ready and I wouldnt have wasted my time. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!
I would give this place zero stars if I could. From the start the customer service was terrible. We worked with Cooper. We originally had an appointment with Jason but Cooper took us and just started running numbers and not explaining anything. He then proceeded to tell us a final monetary value and ran my boyfriends credit for financing... then he came back with a monthly payment that was impossible to get with the price he gave us and when I questioned him about it he said the final price wasnt correct and they were upping the price $5,000 over MSRP for no reason and he hadnt calculated tax and title before running his credit. Not to mention their website advertises the price at MSRP, not over. Terrible customer service, terrible place. Dont go here.
My experience started out well. I had checked them as a possible dealership i would to use on chevy.com. They promptly called me back and set up an appointment with Anthony.I received 3 prompts via text that asked me to confirm my appointment ..which I did.We show up at Serpentine Chevrolet 5 mins early. When we walked in we were greeted by a nice man who we informed we had an appointment.They had no idea who we were...had no one waiting for us...and informed us that Anthony (who we had an appointment with) works from home.We give them the benefit of the doubt and agree to sit down with a salesman who we explain again..that we were there to order a van from them. He says let me see if they are making them because they arent making some vehicles. We wait 15 mins listening to the couple next to us who asked for an SUV..and they pulled up in a car for them to drive while the lady is being persistent..I dont want a car! And they keep telling her they are trying to help her because they cant get her an SUV. Our sales person comes back to us and tries to show us a map on the computer.. look, they dont have any of your vehicle within 500 miles to which I replied...I know...thats why we need to order one. He says oh, they arent making any and proceeded to attempt to bait and switch on us when I cut him off and said Goodbye!Ive contacted Chevy and another dealership since my appointment an hour and a half ago...both of which assured me that I can place the order on the Van...but it would be a few months before I saw it. All of which we are willing to do.I wouldnt recommend anyone bother looking at Serpentini ...at least not at this location. Maybe someone else will have a better experience with them...but if they dont have exactly what you want on the lot...I doubt it.
Service is sub par, and they employee thieves. Not only did they steal $1400 worth of valuables and a firearm out of a bag in my car but they are apathetic about the situation at best. They refuse to look into the matter and dismissed the issue as not a big deal. They will steal from you and follow it up with atrocious service
Long story short had a recall on vehicle when trying to sell to dealership. I was told that vehicle couldn’t be resold un till they fixed recall. Said parts would take forever to get. So they offered me what I was owed on vehicle which wasn’t much. Was very upset but I needed to get out of payment due to family maters. But a week later truck was sold for almost quadruple what I owed. Which was in the mid 20k range. Would never deal with these scammers again. Do your research people car dealership are not you friends even if you take your vehicle their all the time.
I bought a used car from them the salesmanship was good but I got the car was driving home 10 minutes later we made a left hand turn and we heard a horrible rubbing or grinding sound so I called Eric as soon as we heard it and they were closing so he said he would talk to service the next morning to see what it could be or what they did to the car he called and said they said it could be a wheel bearing or heat shield which he chose to say then it would not be covered so he was just saying fix it your self so I then called the sales manager spoke with him and explained it all and he assured me he would call on Monday to set up to have the car looked at well guess what no call and it is now Wednesday so he lied would never recommend anyone to them and all I have to say to Serpenti of Tallmadge thanks for nothing!!!!
My neighbor informed me the service department stole over $1,200 worth of valuables from him during routine maintenance after I asked for dealership recommendations. When requesting the dealership to investigate, they did little if anything to help. Id be vary weary of leaving my car with them.
I would of given no stars but I had to leave one they had an advertisement on Facebook for VIP treatment and could get anyone approved which is BS I explained my situation kept on pushing me to come in said I was pre approved then nope told me to keep my vehicle didnt even seem like they were trying I will definitely not recommend this was a short story of the details I work in Akron but I live an hour and 15mins away I expressed if you feel like you cant help me dont waste my time and they did time and gas I mean thats not cheap either!! Ridiculous
If u think u can’t get it they will just run ur credit just to put hits on ur credit make sure u go there pick out a car itself u don’t need all these hits on credit for real ad is like a scam do not let them run ur credit they will tell u can get approved with social security it’s a lie they u u need a co signer they say up to 5000 more for ur trade it more 300 dollars in my opinion even picked a car 5000 dollars less have not heard anything do not let them run ur credit for all that go to brother auto in Youngstown becuz this place will tell u u need 4 6k down for all that go to brothers and take to ur mechanic this place is a scam now leaving same feed back on google for them
Starting out had a great experience, Tom was helpful along with Josh. With this being said I am now having issues with said car I bought, and today December 27, 2021 marks 30 days of having vehicle. I was told without extended warranty they couldn’t do much which is a lie according to the state laws going into lemon law. I do not recommend buying used vehicle without knowing everything about said vehicle. John was not very helpful and I went into this going well I would help pay if they are willing to help me out but instead that is off the table and this should be and will be pursued further. Again do not recommend personally. Everyone’s situations are different and if you have had a good experience then that’s good but now I have not.
Bought a used car from here a few weeks ago from mike. he was fantastic and really helpful when it came to helping me find something i want! the car had a few issues that started shortly after purchasing. the entire staff was extremely helpful through the repair process. denise in service was great and the general manager helped a lot. everyone was extremely helpful and did a lot for me! highly recommend coming here for your car needs! :)

Kevin Skubic was a great representative for serpentini and car salesmen in general. Even during these hard times he was honest, forthright, and tried to get the best deal for us. He informed us of what the market is like currently and how it looks in the future. This allowed us to come to the most informed decision.
A lot of hidden stuff behind the scenes. Car listed at 33k But on paper I was charger 35k, not told the interest rate and fees and length of the loan until after the loan officer signed everything saying I have to do it this way. Car that was listed at 31k Ended up costing me 43k Kind of ridiculous how much stuff they hid from me and tried to get me to hurry up and sign.
My husband bought a use Dodge Dakota from here to put the engine in for his dodge Dakota he didnt even get it home and the engine went out. He tried to return it and they wouldnt take it back. They knew they were selling him a lemon n just didnt care. This place is bad business not to satisfy the customers just wanted the money. If I could them a ZERO I would!!
The whole buying experience was stressful. Kevin Skubic was our salesman and he was kind of cocky knowing that if we wanted the vehicle we were going to have to pay the $2000 over MSRP, he said that is what the market is like right now. Then offering a low offer on our car by more that $6000 from what it searched on KBB. He then said well you can always sell it yourself. We ended up talking with the manager and he offered a little more for it and we did end up going ahead with the deal. Afterwards, I saw our old car for sale for over $6000 more that what we were paid. I know dealers need to make money but to charge $2000 over MSRP and then lowball and offer on our car just makes you feel like you got taken advantage of. Will never go back there again.

Ruins an otherwise good dealership.Update: 1 year after initial review.I had scheduled both my cars in the dealership via the Serice Department phone and it was much improved. Many thanks as a repeat consumer in addressing the issue. The phone system, even in todays times, is still at the forefront of good customer service. The Service Department did a great job!
My husband and I came to this location with absolutely no plan on what kind of vehicles we wanted. However knew we needed to do a trade in on both of our vehicles. As far as the experience I had purchasing my car was a little disappointed the salesman showed me nothing how things worked in my new vehicle , Was a little upset that as I was doing my purchase agreement he cleaned out my old vehicle boxed up all my stuff I think that is so wrong for someone to do that without asking. Other than that your service department was excellent!

Kyle took a very difficult situation, in our car, and labored through the cars issues with patience, feedback and great advising. His communication skills was greatly appreciated as he carefully defined every step of the cars repair. He was outstanding in his council as what needed to be fixed and guided us through every needed repair with costs and time! His service and crew were able to complete the repairs and we now have a car running as good as new. We also want to tip our hats to the detailing crew who did an A+ detail!.. we are believers in the service and work of Serpentini Chevrolet of Talmadge without a doubt...
The other day I had got a flat tire from a screw in my work parking lot and I called you guys right away to get in as soon as possible because I had a lab class that and I can’t miss it because I can’t me it up. Denise that works in the service department I was able to get me in and out within an hour on my lunch break at work and was able to make it so that was able to get to my lab class and not be at risk of failing the course due to a miss class. She was the only one willing to put in the effort to get things done that worked with me I appreciate that so much above and beyond and I hope she gets recognized for her job and satisfying your customers. I feel she deserves to be recognized for what she has done. So if you could please show her some type of appreciation because it’s hard to satisfy people these days

Josh Reynolds was amazing! I contacted him few days before going into the dealership. I was having the worst birthday weekend and he put me in a 2021 Blazer gave me sooo many rebates and three in so many extras.. his energy was great! I got there at 9 am was done by 11am... he was honest and fair! He sold to me based on my needs. I am so appreciative this has turned out to be the best birthday weekend ever.
Sales rep was a very nice guy! But knew he was giving me a messed up car! I bought a 2017 Honda Polite Saturday haven’t had the car 24 hours tire pressure light comes on! later on that night my transmission light pops on, send a email Sunday because they was closed! Got a response of I’ll send to management! Monday comes talked to management didn’t help at all! Talk to the auto service department they want to charge me 135 to see why my tire sensor is on! Gtfoh!!! I told them I needed a reliable car and they gave me junk!! Which i have to put money into 48 hours after having the car!
Im not one to leave bad reviews, but I drove 45 mins up there, they posted an ad for no credit checks, no payment for 90 days and no down payment. I get up there and the first thing they did was pull my credit. i don’t have good credit at all. so for them to advertise that was a waste of my time. Plus I test drove a car that was not ready to be seen at all. It had a part left in the trunk and then I tried to have him pop the hood and there was no button for it and there was a wrench on the floor. definitely a turn off. You would think they would have them ready to go before showing them to people. Just embarrassing. If you have bad credit don’t waste your time
It only took me a week, start to finish, to get my car. Definitely satisfied, considering the car I wanted wasnt originally on the lot. I do think communication can be improved. I went 3 days without hearing from our representative after I had already given my deposit. Overall, Im pleased! The dealership was clean, the representative was friendly and helpful. Very happy with my purchase.
I made an appointment with the dealership because I wanted to make sure the work was done correctly on my vehicle. They installed the wrong part and then after I made arrangements to take my vehicle back to get the issue corrected they parked my vehicle in the wrong location. When I called the following day to see if my vehicle was ready, they then informed me they hadnt even looked at it yet due to it being parked in the wrong spot. I was inconvenienced by being down a vehicle two additional days beyond what was originally expected. For my troubles they delivered the car to me and gave me a card for a free oil change. Why pay the premium a dealership charges to get subpar performance and service? I couldve went to a backyard mechanic or any mechanic for that service. The only thing I will say positive is the service Denise (I believe that was her name) gave when I spoke to her about my vehicle. She was very helpful when scheduling my appointment, and very apologetic about the numerous mistakes they made.
We were in this weekend to but a new 2500 Silverado and the service was impeccable. Josh (the salesman) went above and beyond to ensure we got the payment in the range we wanted. Sullivan (the manager) even came over in the middle of deal to make sure we were taken care of, and kept up up to date on the progress. Nate (finance man) made several phone calls, and went way above and beyond. Definitely suggest stopping in if you are on the market for a new car! 11/10 recommend!

He will get you as close as possible if not exactly what you’re looking for. I came for a bigger vehicle and a good value for my trade in and at the same or cheaper payment and that’s what i got. As i entered the dealership i had no idea i would be coming home with the vehicle of my dreams. The staff was extremely pleasant especially my agent TJ Donnelly. He took a lot of time tonwalk me through every step breaking down every little detail. I have tried to schedule my free oil change and tire rotation and if I can’t drop it off there no times available. I am still waiting on my window sticker in the mail how the 20 year 200,000 mile covered drive train works and I’m told it was sent 2 times.
I purchased my used vehicle on Saturday. I was impressed with how hard Kevin worked to give me a deal that would be worth while. When I had questions, he took the time to answer them for me.. He was very pleasant to work with. I had questioned some minor scratches on the new car, and he went above and beyond to assist.I will be able to pick up some paint in a few days to fix minor scratches.
It took less than a week from start to finish. Mr. Alan Sipple was very honest, informative, and friendly. Got me a new truck with a better price and better rate and more options that what was agreed upon. Therefore, My experience was excellent. If I ever need anything or another a car I know just where to go and trust. I highly recommend.
Not sure what to think of Serpentini Chevrolet of Tallmadge. I lost my car in a traumatic accident 4 weeks ago. My car, an 11 year old, Chevy Impala , was purchased from Serpentini Strongsville and in excellent condition. Insurance paid high $ for it as per KBB, but still not enough to buy a car straight out. I picked 3 cars to look at on the budget lot to keep cost down and get something I could pay off quickly. Got there and was shown the most expensive car they had at the time in budget. When I asked about the others Id viewed online, I was told this was the best choice, the sales rep said he knew the car, the family history, etc., etc., etc. I was also told it was a steal at $8200 but online it was clearly listed as $7981, still not sure why the increase when buying at the lot. It was 1 of the 3 Id planned to view, but #3 on my list. I listen to sales rep and bought the Chevy Equinox.Well, less than 3 weeks out, Ive already had the tire repaired, thanksNTB for doing that for free and as of today, will have to pay $1500 to replace the catalytic converter, as per Tim Lally Chevy, who inspected it and gave me a list of other items it needs too. I dont even have the lien title yet and of course Car Shield warranty wont cover because its too soon after buying the policy. Had to rent a car too, so I can get to work.I dont mind paying to take care of or upgrade my car to ensure it last me for years. It would have been nice to have had an honest this is whats wrong with it, up front before making my final decision. And I did asked about the slow shift/pick up during the test drive. Is this normal for this type of vehicle?Thats my dilemma and the reason I have to give 2 stars. Did you sell me something you knew was bad and withhold that information as per so many other review comments I see here, or did you not know all these things were wrong with this vehicle? I will still buy from Serpentini, just nothing else from the Talmadge location. Unfortunately, Ill have to unload another 2-3K into this to get it up to speed. I like Tim Lally, trust them for my Chevy maintenance and service.If I had known, this would cost me an additional 2-3k from the start, I could have added that to the purchase price and got something I wouldnt have to fix 3 weeks after purchase.My recommendation: buying from the used budget lot because you need a car and dont wish to or cant afford to pay a lot at the time: Get it checked before buying here. 8K may not be a lot to some people but it is to me especially when un expected due to an emergency.
Bought a new truck this weekend from Serpentini Chevy in Tallmadge. Do not buy a vehicle from this place unless you want to get taken advantage of. We have bought GM vehicles for 30+ years and have never had such a bad experience. I bought a truck and with all the offers/discounts, plus my GM employee pricing discount should have been around $38000. When I was done the price was over $48000. They informed me they were not going to honor my Employee pricing discount after avoiding the question all day because GM motors stopped honoring it. My brother bought a tuck from a different Chevy dealer in stow where we always buy and will continue to buy after this place a month prior and received it. They also snuck in a $5300 tire and wheel protection package that we never talked about, but when I brought it to their attention they lied and said we talked about it. They said they could take it off and I would receive a refund on the principal instead of redoing the loan amount for $5300 less. I would still be paying for it and they still receive the money for selling it. I left a voicemail for the gm and 2 days later never received a call back. This basically sums up how this place is being ran if you can’t even get a response from a manager. What a joke this place is and a bunch of thieves.
Brent Miller took excellent care of me and my Jeep! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was in an accident on NYE, and when I took my truck in for repairs he made things quick and easy! He even helped me with a really nice loaner vehicle. Upon returning the loaner and getting my Jeep back it was in better shape than ever, THEY EVEN WASHED and cleaned up my Jeep. My kids will ruin it in 2 weeks but the work is amazing. Thank you Brent and team!
Run away. Worst place to go. They lied on multiple occasions. They wouldnt honor their advertised price, instead added almost $3000. Claimed had to finance through GM, however, it never stated it anywhere on Autotrader. After a screaming match, finally left. If you want an honest dealership, go see Nick at VanDevere outlet. He made the buying experience as pleasant as possible.
When I first came into serpentini I wasnt sure if I was going to be able get a new car but Kevin Skubic helped me out in every way and made it possible for me to drive away with a new car! All the guys here were helpful and I was very pleased with my service here at Serpentini Chevrolet in Tallmadge.
We bought a new Trax 3 years ago from this location. Kevin called the other day regarding current incentives about trade in and such. I politely said no and we werent interested. Later that night we put some more thought into it and said what could it hurt? I then spoke with Alan, gave him information and what we would be interested in. Within 2 hours he called with offer. We were able to trade in our (only) 3 year old car and drive off with a brand new vehicle and only spent a hour at dealership (it usually seems like it takes ALL DAY when car shopping). I am very happy with our new purchase and with the service from Kevin and Alan!!!
This is the second car we have bought from this dealership. The first one I’ll be honest wasn’t the best experience a few years ago and made me reluctant to return. However with the shortage of vehicles currently and after searching multiple dealerships I’ve the past Month, I found myself back at Tallmadge Serpentini with a lot full of cars and when I came across our sales personnel Mika.She was kind, knowledgeable and personally invested in our purchase of a new vehicle. She was never pushy, or over bearing like I have had in the past, and at the end of the day just wanted us to buy a vehicle that fit our needs and that we were genuinely happy with. I can’t give enough thanks to her and as long as she is in the car selling business she will have my families business. If you’re looking for a great person to help you with a car, with great morals, I hope you don’t think twice about talking with her. My husband and I went to Chevy Serpentine in Tallmadge, we had Drew and Nate helping us along with a trainee Michael who helped us out a lot and super awesome. Nate sold me my first Chevy and had to come back to him. If you want good service come see these guys, they are good and wont steer you wrong. We bought a pre-owned Jeep!
This is our second vehicle from Serpentini in Tallmage! Cooper is the guy you need! Best service and easy process! He will ALWAYS make sure you get the best deal. The whole dealership is awesome. We will continue to drive over an hour to come here for our vehicle purchases!!

2022-03-07Drew was great to work with! He worked to get us a great deal in the price range we were looking for!Update: the experience with Drew and the purchasing experience was indeed, great, however their used vehicle inspection process needs work. In just over a week, Ive found that the front brake pads are almost completely gone, the rear rotors are rusting out, the air conditioning doesnt work, the drivers window switches dont work, and the forward collision sensor is defective. I understand there are risks for purchasing a new vehicle, but I feel some of these shouldve been discovered during the vehicle inspection.

2022-03-02Our Equinox broke down late Tuesday night. We already had an appointment scheduled for the following Monday for a check engine light. This was the earliest we could get in. Service checked our vehicle late Wednesday and had it repaired by early afternoon on Thursday. We did not expect it back until the following week. Very impressed. Thank you for the great service!!
