Savers in other cities:
I used to love this store. Bring back the fitting rooms! Theyve been gone since covid and almost every single pair of pants Ive bought from here since then has had to be exchanged because they dont fit, or donated back to the store because I missed the short (14 days) exchange window. Also the prices have gotten RIDICULOUS in the last year or so. $16 for a hoodie because its Nike, but the front is covered in stains. I constantly see items from dollar tree priced at $2 or more. Ffs they are USED dollar store items. Plain hanes tshirts for $7. The only time you get actual THRIFT STORE prices are on Monday (half price day). Im going to take my donations elsewhere from now on, where people can actually benefit from it.
Beware when you purchase. Insist on opening the sealed box to insure you get what you are paying for. I purchased a sealed video card box yesterday from inside the display cases. You know the cases that require you to get an employee to get the item from inside. The video card in the sealed box was not the video card version on the box. I ended up with a far inferior card and paid the premium for the box that listed the higher end card.
Two times in one month Ive shown up 20 minutes before close and they have someone guarding the door telling me they close early. While there are still customers piling out of the store. When I ask for the manager he tells me its okay the registers dont close to 10 come on in Because he see me recording on my phone and knows Im going to call corporate like I told him. At that point I refused entry and I will be getting hold of corporate to tell them what their employees and managers are doing at the store.
Have been to Savers in the past several times and have always found some really neat items. The last couple of times I have been in the store- I have found some really cool hats. One was a throwback St. Louis Blues NHL hat and since I brought it home and cleaned it up- it is in really good shape! The store is neat and organized and CLEAN to say the least. Definitely worth the stop in if you get the time!
This place is AWFUL. Really. It is a shame that they are potentially taking advantage of low income people who may not know that they can get the same item, BRAND NEW, for LESS money at Walmart. For instance... They had a very dirty, crusty, 2 slice used toaster for sale for $11.99. Oddly, you can buy a brand new 4 slice toaster at Walmart right now for $9.99. The pattern continues. Old, dirty appliances at new or more than new prices. Used jeans for $11.99. Some ladies tops were over $20 and we are not talking about used Dior, Chanel or other brands. We are talking run of the mill JCPenney, Sears and Kohls clothes from years and years ago. Even crappy knick-knack stuff that in any other thrift store would sell for 49 cents will be $2.99 here. I wish I could give them a negative number. They really are that overpriced. While there were people walking the aisles, no one seemed to be buying anything. I can see why. This is the Whole Foods of thrift stores, lol. Seriously, if you are looking for a bargain, if you are low income and need to stretch your dollars, if you are just a thrift store shopper, save your time. This place isnt worth it.
I went in today with my emotional support animal and was told I was not allowed in there. I was there at 12:00pm today and a man told me I was not allowed in with her. Then asked if she was an support dog and I said yes. He then went in asked the manager and she told me I was not allowed to bring her into the store.
Im in love with this store. I spend hours every time I go. You never know what youll find. Some of the clothes seems a bit overpriced especially for used donated clothes. They do have some great clothes but you just have to be careful because sometimes things can be priced closely to what youd pay for the same thing brand new. They do have a nice member program that is free and absolutely worth quickly signing up for. Mondays are 50% everything and each day of the week they have special deals on different colored tags. You can make out great here but beware the place is addicting!
Selection was slim pickings. What they did have was in good shape but higher priced than expected for a resale store. Store appeared clean. Staff wasnt very friendly and were fairly standoffish. Wont return as there was nothing outstanding or worthy of a return visit.
Found two cups on the shelf and manager refused to price them. Told me to come back in 3 days. Then when I called a different location to check policy the manager said no the Fairview Mgr should have priced the items as a courtesy. The manager at the Fairview store is rude and lacks a professional and courteous image and demeanor. Won’t shop there anymore and will take my donations to Common Threads.
Went there today. Its Sunday found a cordless electric broom. It worked great and was only $3.49. Went to look at the shoes and walked away then realized that I had forgotten the broom. Asked an associate who worked there if he had moved it. He said no but agreed to help me find it. This was a nice gesture. However , I remembered there was another associate who was organizing the shoes. I spotted her and we asked her about the broom and her response was I threw it away. Furious about this I told her I didnt believe it and asked her why. She responded that it was broken. I assured her that it was working fine as I had tried it out. She told me that people were complaining about it being broken. I told her that the story just did not sound right and told her that it worked fine for me and I was willing to buy it anyway as is. So ..... she asked me in a confrontational way well what do you want me to do about it. . So after a lengthy absence she appears with the broom with the handle broken off of it. Clearly the broom had been broken by her as I would not have been able to test it out if the handle was broken. And I doubt very seriously it staff would have put something like that on the floor. Gonna make a call to corporate office in the morning as Renee needs to be re-education on customer service and the importance of not lying to customers. I felt that she wanted the item for herellf and had to break the handle or something to clear up the lie she told. Smh. And she had the nerve to ask me why I was so angry. SMH. 🤔🙄🤥
Im sorry but this place in my opinion was not worth me driving all the way up there for like an hour away just to see some high priced shirts costing $7.99 the clothing didnt look all that to me. But it was packed in there. I will say they had a nice selection of toys for the kids.
This is one of my number 1 places to go to find deals and one of a kind items. If you see something you like buy it on the spot. (It wont be there tomorrow). Make sure you fully test any items you buy if they are electronic or just general purpose. You are going to find a lot of great stuff. Sign up for their free rewards program; and some items are greatly discounted according to the tag colors. I have found really great books. Brand new! Nobody reads any more. 😞 furniture, chairs, tables, paintings, some designer clothing and shoes, music , movies, board games, jewelry; and all at the low low. I put an art gallery in the hallway outside my apartment. Today I found 2 sets of khakis and a nice pair of shoes for less than $20.00 and they were all name brand. ****See Macklemore and Ryan lewis video. On youtube: (Im gonna pop some tags).**** Safety quotient 100%. Parma and Brooklyn cops are all over that area. Its where they overlap. Dont forget to go next door to waterways to wash your car. Its safe and fully automated. I love that George Jetson style stuff.Mondays are 1/2 off but treat it like black friday and be there when they open the doors if you can.
This is the Savers that I like going to best. Selection is good, clerks are friendly, and store is clean. The workers seem more content there than the ones at the Fairview Park store. The selection seems better and the prices seem lower at this location, too. Ive donated items many times, and the guy who takes the stuff is really friendly and always helps take it out of the car. Their management team there seems to really be on top of things there.
The store is clean and organized. I like the store goods, clothing, shoe and toy products. Great selection of sport clothing especially those well-priced items. Staff is helpful and friendly. The discounted clothing and monthly deals are my favorite. In general, the prices are high for a thrifty store like savers. You wonder sometimes whether some the prices were determined by a sane employee. I mean some prices are literally outrageous considering that those items were donated to the store in the first place. Parking is abundant and easy in and out access. I recommend shopping at savers especially during their 50% sales.
It was save 50% Monday, so its always a great time when you can save on great deals, Savers closes at 7:00 pm now and they want you to hurry up and shop so they can sanitize the store, thats a good thing, Ill be glad when things are back to normal and we dont have to wear masks!!!😊☺😄
I love going to Savers, they have knick-knacks, collectibles, small kitchen appliances, bedding, books, clothing, shoes, toys, furniture, stereos and good customer service and great bargains! The only reason why I didnt give them five Stars is because sometimes this store is not very clean.
I bought a cat carrier for half off. It was regular 40.00 marked down to 14.97 then half off!. My lady friend was overjoyed because she needed to take her cat into a vet. Had no way to carry her in. What a deal! I love the book selection! Picture frames are my favorite! What a great place! I wont ever pay retail!
Most prices are very reasonable, a few prices marginal. Second hand items sold here. Unique and some one of a kind items can be found. Staff is very helpful and cheerful. My Wife and I enjoyed our time at Savers. Items come in almost daily, so you never know what youll find one day to the next.
I would recommend this thrift store. They have a large variety of items and they are always getting new things in from their donations. The store is clean and the staff is helpful. Mondays everything is half price. Tuesdays is seniors day and I believe they give you a 20 or 30 percent discount. On all of the other days each day 4 different color tags are 50 percent off. Like today blue, green, orange and I believe gray was 50 percent off.
Not sure why Im even giving a 2 . Used to be a nice store with good prices. Not anymore. Went to drop off a few things to donate. One was a mid century chair in great shape. The old man told me if I donated it,it would be thrown out. I took it back home and looked it up. It was by a famous designer. Worth a couple hundred dollars. Board games for 13 dollars? Really? Wont be back.
This store is clean, organized, and tends to have more items than the Rocky River location, but like that one it is wayyy overpriced. They had a coat behind the counter marked $500. $500!! At a thrift store. Who tf do they think is coming to a thrift store ready to drop $500 on some random coat!? Insane.Dresses from Express were marked $50. You guys are not a consignment shop. Nor are you buying and reselling anything. Its all donated. Board games that were missing a ton of pieces were marked $10. Who is pricing this stuff!?
I love Mondays, when its the 50% off days. Working on getting animals as in stuffed, for our vacation bible school which has to do with animals. There we can buy enough that every child will be able to leave at the end of the week with one animal to remind them of us. And I did not have to break the bank to do it!
Havent stopped at Savers in awhile & decided to today, was hoping to get some sweaters for the family to make into ugly Christmas sweaters. Items we way over priced! Grease stained shirt and they wanted 6.99 for it! All the clothes were over priced for second hand, even Once Upon a Child is priced less! Definitely not returning!
I have mixed feelings about Savers- the store is a bit overwhelming and annoying and most books are overpriced. However, 50% off Mondays can yield good deals, especially on mens clothing! A recent bad experience with Savers does little to change my rating- overall I give it 3 stars, closer to 3 1/2.
Pretty good thrift store. The things they put on their floor is pretty good quality. Some things are a little over priced but it’s okay. Also, every time I donate at the donation center, the people there seem like their always in a bad mood but other than that it’s a good place.
This store was unorganized. Clothing was marked with the usual small, medium, large sections but the actual clothing was all over the place. The pricing was also very high. No name brands of jeans priced at $15 and upwards. It’s worth a stop on Monday’s since it’s half off, otherwise don’t bother.

2022-03-07Having visited this location several times, I am disappointed how infrequently shelves seem to be restocked. Expensive furniture, including a modern cabinet with significant wear from the handles priced at $600. Great finds are possible at this location with some luck, but I leave empty handed more times than not.

2022-02-07I love thrifting and i enjoy going to Savers when i get a chance. Its a great place to get all kinds of things that I enjoy such as arts and crafts, custom jewelry, household supplies, an awesome close some of them are name brand, even brand new! Savers is a good place to go on Mondays because everything in the store is half off if you want to get a good deal thats a great time to go. You may have to deal with some people that are a little pushing or rude but honestly if the staff is great and they will take care of you! You should check it out its a great store.

2022-04-26I had never been to this Savers up until now and I am glad that I decided to stop by. It was a rainy day and i wanted to get the kids out of the house and go out without spending too much money. This place happened to be having a 50% off sale... I got a sectional couch and toys for all 3 of my kids for around $40. Amazing deals and a great place to stop by if youre trying to save some money. Must check it out if youre looking for clothing, the selection is big

2022-03-18I feel the store should open back up the dressing room. I come from out of town to shop at this store. I dont what to buy anything without trying them on.. If they dont fit they say you can bring them back.. But who want to drive a hour to get a exchange.. I know out of town people feel the same way.. I dont stay in Cleveland. Why dont they make it easier for out of town shopper?

2022-07-15Tons of selection HOWEVER there are no dressing rooms and the return policy is for an exchange, not money back. So, if something doesnt fit I have to keep driving back to the store and picking something else out until I get something that DOES fit. With gas prices, I cant see where Im saving money. Not to mention, the prices were a bit high for a thrift store. I visited Good Friends Thrift on Pearl Rdbefore going to Savers today, and they had a dressing room with prices at least half off from what Savers listed. Go to Good Friends Thrift instead.
