Instructions for deliveries:When i called they told me they start receiving at 10pm. I had frozen load I dont know if that makes difference. You come in and check in at the guard shack (I was 50 min before my 11:15pm app)The guard gives you the door to, open doors, they didnt say anything about tandems, you brake the seal yourself. You go to receiving, door #39. Check in at the black kiosk (there are two of them). You have to know your Delivery# and company DOT number.Once you are done with that you wait in line at the window they get you slip for lumper (Eclipse)They give you a price right a way, but you get the receipt once they are done.No cash, credit card, EFS, Fleet One...No overnight parking after delivery!
Arrived at 3am for 4am appointment. In dock immedietly. Check in by door 39. Plenty if room for backing. Just usual idiots leaving their bright headlights on not caring about other drivers trying to back in. Kiosk in office not working..I wasnt asked for delivery number or DOT number
I got here about an hour before my delivery appt. It was a few trucks ahead of me (Approximately 8 or 9) the check in went rather quick and smooth. Once I checked in on the kiosk inside the receiving office it was only a short wait and I was unloaded (I only had 6 pallets) with paperwork in my hand. One of the better experiences
Showed up 15min early,5 pallets grapes, saw fully loaded truck arrive ,unload ,depart,,still waiting after 2hrs of green light, be sure you know cellular carrier of company phone ,because fo some reason this DC can not text you without this info and apparently it is quite the hassel to call a driver,am curious if anywhere else in the usa have this issue, 10yrs driving first time i have ever heard of not being able to text a phone without knowing carrier,,this DC is a fail, security very polite and professional
Hired and then waited the 2 weeks I was told to wait before I could get in for training. Call back today and am told they went with someone more experienced. After having interviewed 2 times being toured the facility and being told Id start by January 20th at the latest. Thanks for waiting my time in a literal pandemic! My son and I wont eat. I could have been looking for other employment for 2 weeks now! Trash trash trash.
Start checking in around 09.45 PM. If you’re close to appointment time then better option is just walk over to Guard Shack otherwise keep following the truck line. If you’re too early, They will ask you to park on side of drive way. I got door earlier than my appointment but they unloaded at appointment only.
Worked as hard as I possibly could. They want you to stack 480 cases an hour. Anyone over 35 will struggle here. Save the heartache and humiliation of being let go after giving them all you got. The pay is very good and they pay for days off. Call offs still pay 8 hrs. I wish they didnt push me out the door. I am an asset to anyone I work for.
Very easy to find. Literally down the street from the Pilot. So get here early for parking at truck stop. Some trucks lined up in entrance but only fits about 5 trucks. Sign in receiving office says no overnight parking so you will have to drive off property after getting unloaded. No need for license when checking in.Guard will assign door number when ready. I got here 20 mins early for a 0115 appointment and got a door immediately. You are to break the seal once you are backing to your door.Once backed to a door, walk paperwork to receiving office by dock door 39.There is a computer kiosk where you will enter in information to check-in (PO#, DOT#, zip code where the load came from, & cell#) Then give paperwork to window clerk, she will then give you a paper for the lumper if you choose to hire.Plenty of room to back. Might have to go down a ways to turn around but there is plenty of room. Also be sure to slide tandems to the rear after lining up with dock door.
The local drivers their on their lot think they own the place. Took me an hour to back into my assigned bay because they park where ever they want to and take their time at it. Took me 45 min. Just to leave my bay for the same reason, their local drivers just fo what they want, park where they want and take their time at itWorst place to go and drop your load.
I was almost an hour late for appointment due to weather and they didnt give me a hard time. Checked in @ kiosk inside (bring your mc # with you) paid lumper fee $150.00 for 17 pallets got put right in a door unloaded within an hour or so. Got a text when I was done to go get paperwork and no one was in office. Had to wait about twenty minutes for someone to show up. After I pulled out of the door I noticed my strap wasnt returned so that killed another 20 minutes going back inside to get it.
Hubby arrived @ 2300 like instructions said, they dont even begin to unload until 0400, thats if they show up on time, didnt start showing up until 0430-0500, than took a short time to unload, problem was waiting for paperwork. 0400 appointment time and you figure 2-3 hours for 1/2 a trailer to unload, nope, not this place, took 8+ hours and 6 of those hours were waiting for the paperwork, ridiculous!
I have been delivering here for more than 13 yrs mostly with no issues until recently but today was the worst yet. Arrived 0200 for 0315 delivery appt, $175 lumper fee which I paid immediately and went back to truck to wait. 6 1/2 hrs later still red light but havent felt anyone on trl in awhile so I go inside to check. Young lady working the window is dumbfounded theres even a truck in my door and struggles to find my paperwork. Claims someone else must have signed out my paperwork then claims someone else must have missed files the paperwork and refuses to put in and out times on my actual Bols and starts to play the victim. Meanwhile Eclipse Advantage the lumper service cant locate my receipt either. So after these idiots finally all pull their heads out their butts I return to my truck to leave only to discover I still have a red light on the docklock. I wait 15 minutes then return inside to more bad attitudes from these people and its not until I call the Sheriff in front of them that someone goes out and unlock me. Total time on site 8 hrs.
The cons are:unloading took 5 & 1/2 hours. Appt was for 12:15am. Checked in at 12am, checked out at 5:44am.Instead of office checking you in seamlessly, you have to use some kiosk to check in to then just hand your BOL to the person behind the window. It doesn’t make sense. You need to know your company’s DOT number to check in the kiosk.I had a full trailer.Pros are: Got a door right away from guard shack. Backed into door and checked into office by 12:07am. Lumper service gives you the price right away so you pay right away. It’s less than other places I’ve been to.You can finish your break at the pilot right up the street, you don’t have to turn your clock on until your break is done.
Its such a garbage company with bad management ! I was here 30 min. Earlier now is more than 3 hours they didnt even start unloading me. Next time Im charging double or screw them! Who manages this and how they survive the market!???!! I would give them negative stars.
Im here to make a delivery. My appointments was for 2:15 a.m. I got here@ 10:00 p.m. I checked in at 1:30 a.m he said that there was going to be a little wait on doors. It didnt take long for him to call me on the CB radio, n assign me a door(#11) also instructed me to go in to door #39 n check in the office with my paperwork. I go to check in , n overwhelmed by all this rules on the wall that doesnt mention to use the kiosk to check in . while checking in it ask you questions that are not relevant to your delivery ,like whos your cell phone carrier???? You kidding me!! Then ask for your DOT number, so now you have to leave the kiosk to fetch the DOT number of my truck cause the guard didnt do it. Now Im back to kiosk having to start all over again . Now I proceed to window with the female clerk to over hear her referring to me as the girl that didnt know what I was doing, n laughing with another female staff. I let her know that I could hear her, n that she was rude. Then she told me that she didnt have a door for me. I told her that I was already assigned a door already, n I had already broken the seal, n backed in. She informed me that I had to pull out of there, n wait back outside. Its now almost 4 a.m. , n no door. This place its not organised, n they dont give a care. I will refuse to come here again. So much for E-logs!
This place should just close there doors they are the slowest place I have been in 28 yrs I checked in at 9:30pm for my appointment at 10:15pm and at 3:15 am the following morning they finally start unloading will never bring another load to any save a lot warehouse they are so bad at doing there job the management needs to be there when trucks are unloaded because it sure seems like the people in office just dont care and I will post this all over the web and report this to ooida and put it in every trucking magazine I can find to let other drivers know ahead of time these shipments should pay three times what they do if they rake so long to unload
Yep, one of the slowest food holes Ive ever been to. Appt was at 1:00, got a door at 2, started unloading at 3, were done at 6. Cereal on pallets. Unbelievable! Then they wont throw away dunnage, like freight air bags and 2x4s used as load bars by the shipper. They signed the bills with no OS&D, but when I pulled out from the dock there were about 25 boxes of frosted flakes on the tail. I thought f*** it because I didnt want to sit there another hour waiting to have my bills redone. So I threw them in my cab and gave them to a food pantry. The lumpers never wrote them up. Obviously SavALot doesnt know theyre doing this. I wonder what other unknown things the lympers are doing. Stealing maybe? So if you go here be prepared to wait and check you trailer.
Gave me a good time and good price on the lumper, my problem with this.. like at most big corporations, it is not physically possible to unload the pallets I was unloading, with a pallet jack here.. and the floor was wet even after they dried it so it was still impossible I just dont like being forced to use the lumper as I do not just drive a truck every dollar counts to me I have 4 children at home I would rather them see that money 50 dollars may not amount like alot. But even if its just 50 dollars 3 days a week. Thats 150 for my kids.. its not right and something should be done about this I challenge you save alot to make it a little easier on the drivers like me who need the money.
Got warnings about the lumbers and restacks.got there open up back door everything in place. Lumber said 125$ ask him if they could sweep after said no.about hour in and believe be they were rocking the trailor called said 2 restacks.was warned about this on Qualcomm and other drivers at piolet.number 1 I didnt load was pretty loaded when open everything in place Hershey load.tacking advantage of truckers .Hogan Driver keep honking horn while I was opening doors not yard dog.wanted the 10 separate
Nice place for deliveryNight shift guard is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met took them less than 2 hours to unload full truck loadYou have to pay lumpers on almost all loadsThey don’t take cashNight shift starts at 10 and you can get in line around 9:30-9:40Have to check in at the kiosk once you get inSmooth
Best place to be... You just have to experience for your self, apply and tell them you saw my review, LJ...If you go to work to make money, their is money to be made, if you just hold out & keep working.( Dont listen to others ) Apply And try it for your self. If you want to be & keep busy, beyond, what you imagined.
We cant get reimburse . Explanation we need to get re work the product we cant take the pallets safely out . This happen to 3 defiant caries last night This is how we kill the industry . My company Coach Freight Inc of 60 trucks we will never deliver here . Be safe driver .
Load from Safeway to Safeway checked in the same time as landstar driver he had a van me reefer...we got into a door at the same time he got loaded be4 I did n arrived here be4 I did..was a 9hr trip told us to get here between 10pm-4am..i left at 3pm got here at 1am put into a door 1:05am green light round 5am yet him and the trucks that i saw here when i backed into a door are still sitting here waiting on pw too smh...sign up saying after youre empty no overnight parking...im lucky its a truck stop right beside here..yet they forcing us on elogs..well getting my pw now n it 6:32am if this load didnt pay $3.40 per mile I would be pissed right now lmao be safe everybody
It is really slow working place..it took them 7 hours to unload the trailer and i was on time for delivery ... I can imagine if i was late ...So at the end i can say ....It is slow, unprofessional ,expensive lumpers who are taking their time dont give a F**K About anything..Make sure u get a lot of money for the freight when delivering S**T hole :) :)
Definitely some scammers!, I was told that some of the pallets needed to be repacked so my initial price of $175 for lumper fees turned into $325!, any of you drivers ever hauled produce know how high those pallets can be and those pallets arent shrink wrapped!, I have never been told by any receiver that my load was damaged or needed to be repacked , imagine these scammers charging $325×10(drivers a day) in one month thats $97500!, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

2021-12-09Got unload few hours early. The guard let me park over night there. Did take awhile to unload and rejected a pallet that was leaning due to not being wrapped good enough. And from what I take the reject alot of food here but yet there was nothing wrong with the product

2022-07-11Some parking available on entry road. I had 14 skids, unloaded in 3 hours no lumpers.Big parking lot plenty of room to get squared up if there’s not a couple dummies sitting in the middle. Thanks

2022-06-14This place is terrible for truck drivers. No overnight parking even though they only unload at night, if youre late for your appointment you have to reschedule for at least the following day, guy at the window was just rude. Avoid at all costs, this place could care less about the drivers who bring them their products.

2022-05-15They don’t open till 3 am on Sunday. Put me in dock took my cell to text once finished. Well they didn’t text me after 2+ hours looking at green light went in and it’s done. They said they text several times but I didn’t get any. So once green go in and check on your load

2021-12-08Parking available before guard shack for about 6-7 trucks, receiving starts at 11pm and if you came before that park your truck and walk to the guard shack with paperwork to check in and then they will call you with a door assignment! My appointment was at 1am, checked in at 10pm, got a call with a door assignment at 11pm and was empty and given paperwork at 2:30amGreat place to deliver 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
