Never have I shop here and I walk out with six extra large bags filled a food for dinner $ 150 amazing on prices. And where the store is located you would think it was dirty inside it was spotless. Your fruit is very cheap! The meat I wouldnt recommend. The milk its high by a dollar and cereal is pricey. But youre frozen dinner are the cheapest Ive seen.
I was there today. Only 1 female cashier open. There were 5 ppl in line 3 with full carts. A lady asked the cashier if there were anyone that could come help. The cashier chose to ignore her. The lady said to cashier, I asked you a question. She just look at the lady like, soo... I couldnt be believe what I was seeing. I was about to walk out at that time but a man came and checked some of us out...
Extremely higher price s on food that can be purchased at competitive markets. Very limited cuts of fresh meats and poultry.

Manager was extremely nice along with the cashier and since didnt have a quarter allowed me to use one of the carts from the front end of the store
Dont believe the good reviews about this Save A Lot!!! Im not from Cleveland, the city I come from sets a higher standard regarding customer service, and when you are use to receiving better customer service and you come to Cleveland and witness this outrage, its quite appalling. NOW LET A PERSON FROM OUT OF TOWN TELL YOU THE TRUTH. The employees at this Save A Lot behave in the most unprofessional, ignorant and ghetto ways I have seen in my life. I witnessed them(cashiers) talk poorly about the customers that come in the store (including a Manager) I also witnessed a cashier arguing with and laughing at customers at the register and trying to get other customers to join in to insult another customer. What!!!!! Are you at work or around the way??!!! Sometimes they have armed security that grill you while you are paying for food looking like they are ready to arrest you!!! (Wow, can I shop and pay for my food in peace??!!) You report these issues to Management and they dont care. Another issue is, this Save A Lot runs out of important items at times leaving shelves half EMPTY for a long period of time, and sometimes food is expired (This seems to be most stores in Cleveland) They need a whole new staff working there along with regular inventory checks on their items. BUT.. I guess I cant expect much from anywhere in Cleveland!!! TIME TO MOVE OUT OF Cleveland!!!
They had a Verity of food by products household items clean and the service was so friendly and a nice experience...
My son is a fish,shrimp, steak,stir fry eater,always shop here for cheap prices,and good quality. N tim n Jessica are great friendly workers there.
Quality & quanity is a toss-up at this location sometimes everything stocked up and sometimes its Slim Pickens sometimes the meats fresh sometimes it looks terrible sometimes they have a bunch of brand name stuff at a low price sometimes they only have a few items brand name the quality of their store brand out of 1 to 10 Id give it a 6. The staff is really friendly though and let you use their bathrooms. Stores really localso its great for a quick stop if you need a couple things.
I went in there and got the tortilla Pizza rolls they had a sign on their 4 for $5 and then they had a sign up there for $0.88 the guy that was packaging or not packaging putting the food in the Frozen tells me I got to read the signs so I told him I said I read the signs now you guys get now he read the signs because all youre right I should see you need to start reading the signs they charge you 250 for do tortilla rolls under $0.88 a piece and had to go back in there give my receipt after Ive got a bad back and knee and go through all that s*** to get $3 and something back that they eat but youre too smart mouth and this was on Puritas
UpdatedI Came in on Dec 18 2019 in evening hours and a large security guard eating a pear walked to me and puffed up his chest asking why I was taking pics in the store. I said google. Why would Google want pics of the store? He asked. I was taking pics of the new Amazon pickup center in front of the store, orientation of registers, the meat and frozen cases. I told him I was taking one outside entrance to before I left and that it was good for business. He told me I was not allowed and needed permission of the management to take pictures. I felt like he was treating like a criminal. I found him to be rude and overtly agressive. Im a big fella and I felt threatened. It was not what he was saying it was his aggressive posture. If I see him there next time I will shop elsewhere. That was terrible experience. I packed up my groceries and left.
If you live around here go at your own risk. I feel sorry for people that get use to dirty unpleasant to the eye plazas to shop at if they cant afford to move away. But apparently Cleveland has their stinky little eye on Ohio city now for years. What about the other parts of Clevelands west side? This place is an eye sore. The store has what it has, good stuff but damn...it looks scary pulling it there and crime around there is ridiculous.
Save-A-Lot just closed down the only store near me, much to my severe dismay! now, instead of travelling FIVE MILES to get to my nearest save-a-lot, i have to travel TEN?!?! i dont *think* so!
I forgot to bring a quarter for cart havent shopped here for a while so had to carry the few things I bought but prices were much cheaper than drug Mart and a little cheaper than marcs.
Doris is the best! She should be manager, although is understaffed its pretty well organized, loved working here loved the customers loved working with doris she was a great mentor! Clean good environment.
I love it when I get there early and everything is well stocked and all decks on hand even the manager all smiles.
They installed a lock on the shopping carts. You have to put a quarter in the lock and then find a matching cart with a lock the receive the quarter back. Everyone now just leaves the quarter in the lock. Just hire a buggy guy like any other store does. Lame!!! Whoever though if this needs demoted to buggy guy!!!

Great deals can be found like T-Bone steaks for $4.99 a pound. Great steak and the best price around. Definitely buy when they are on sale.
This is more like a suggestion. Get the aldis carts it will solve everyones problems! The lines. The snow. The cart build up. The lack of carts at times. The cart congestion in the cashier lobby area. My ability to park in a space. Etc. And have more staff on duty. In a grocery store there should never basically only be 1 or 2 lines open bc of what appears to be lack of staffing. You guys are a 6billion dollar buisness. You can afford to properly staff. And if you cant get the aldis carts than you need someone to get carts otherthan your cashiers who should be handling the lines instead of chasing carts all over the parking lot which someone has to ddo so..otherthan that no real complaints.Lack of staff.Poor cart situation.Rude customers. -------Kick the rude people out! I found some prices of things that I have bought at Walmart that were cheaper. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.
The employees are all rude and never smile and they never have enough registers own and theyre lines are always very long. There is no such thing as a quick shop here.
Long lines, very small selection of not very fresh produce and really not alot of savings...5lb bag of potatoes and a bag of Tostitos was $10...exact same as giant eagle...just a less comfortable atmosphere.
If you like steaks that are labeled ribeye this is the place to gotheir steaks that are labeled ribeye are too large to be from a cow. I have never known rib steaks to be this tough, or large.
This save a lot. Is very helpful wonderful place that will go out their way to help you even if youre not even shopping there this place has very good customer service I recommend going here sometimes the lines can get hectic which they do need to hire more professionals like them!!

I really really really really really really really really really saved a LOT. It was amazing. I couldnt even believe how much I was saving. I had to ask a sales clerk to pinch me. I mean, EVERY SINGLE ITEM I PICKED UP!! SAVINGS!! It just cant be beat.
Please have your employees great your customers with a friendly attitude and speak to each customer. That goes a long way.
When I was there it had just come down from a rush of customers..but the store was being tidied up & the cashier was pleasant and helpful.
Friendly employees, good selection of food. My main stop for groceries. Able to be in and out within 40 minutes.
Just would like the selection and service personel to better been to other SAV A LOTS stores and this one is average at best.

2021-11-16Dont go here they have the worst cashier and the manager is the worst one.. the cashier will throw your items out your cart and the manager dont care hesa pin head... and they will have this skinny tallsmelly guy to try to put hands on you if you comfort them.. 2021-07-14Go early for half off meats! 3 t-bones for about 7 bucks! A porterhouse for about $3.50! 3 ribeye steaks marked down from $29 and change for $14 bucks! All in the freezer!

2020-12-14I have shopped at save alot for years and use to love the quality but the past two months I have bought pork items (pork shoulder, breakfast sausage, pork chops) the meat has been bad. I just purchased a pork shoulder on the 4th opened it the next day and it smelled like rotten egg. I have crohns as it is I dont want to accidently cook bad meat and be stuck in the bathroom more.
