Do not go threw Sandstone. They are over priced with there monthly rents and give you apartments that are not up to the states codes. They will not hold up there agreements on the lease. And they will pull as much mo ey out of you as they can. We are going on 2 years of living here and the maintenance requests that we have put in still have not been fully addressed. Not putting any blame on the people that come out here and try to fix the massive mess that was put forth on them but for the managment that doesnt care about anything but getting there money. Plumbing has issues. Windows are not in correctly. And only 7 outlets in the whole 3 bedroom 1 bath apartment. Take your hard earned cash and go somewhere else trust me. This place is a nightmare to live in and the management is a nightmare to deal with.
Very unprofessional office manager named Margarita Nunez. Did not return my call when I left a voicemail, forced me to communicate in text. I also looked through the replies to peoples bad reviews on google and this management company is super rude when answering. Im surprised they are still in business.I have always paid all my bills and my rent on time or early. I gave notice I intended to move the day they sent me renewal notice. However, since it was 50 days instead of the full 60 they are requiring me to pay an extra month when I will not even be living there. I thought it was good practice for landlords to send the renewal in time for the tenants to give adequate notice, but Sandstone is shady enough to squeeze that last bit out of you.So in the meantime I am paying rent on an apartment that reeks of marijuana from the people below and my young son cannot even use his bedroom.I would not rent from here, when I moved in the cupboards didnt even have shelves and there were no blinds for the windows. Had to do that all myself. The carpet was gross and the place still smells like animal from the people who lived here before me. So maybe the marijuana smell is an improvement!
Holy SCAMMERS!!! I rented from them for only five months and didnt mind if they kept my deposit. I checked my credit score and theres this debt (which I never knew about) from Sandstone. They charged me $600 for paint!! Last time I checked paint was part of upkeep, not to mention it wasnt freshly painted when I moved in!! They even charged me for a missing toilet paper holder (there was never one there)!!! Dont waste your time, money, or sanity on these crooks!!! In total they attempted to charge my over $2000.00 for nothing!!!
It was a little rocky at first but I been in my house for 8 years and any time I need anything their right on top of it and also work with me if I’m late paying rent or anything. I got to paint my own house and make it comfortable to my standards. Also the employees that work there are so nice and personal every time we talk! Being a tenant and having a landlord it sorta like having another family everyone has their issues and can work through them and sandstone and I have had issues but they work with making sure your comfortable and happy. I will and do recommend them all the time.
Ive been in my home for 5 years, my previous landlord sold the duplex and Sandstone has been the property management team for the past 2 years. The transition was seamless and having the option of paying my rent online with my checking account is much more convenient. Thankfully, Ive only needed 2 maintenance requests and theyve fulfilled them quickly, leaving me with a peace of mind. Thanks to the team for always being there when needed, its very much appreciated.
I scheduled a showing with them for an apartment, I showed up on time and waited but no one answered. I tried getting them on the phone but had alot of issues. Finally contacted someone and they told me all they can do is give me a number for the person that was supposed to be there. Very unprofessional. When I called the other number it went straight to voicemail. I got a call back 10 minutes later from them and they tried to make it seem like I was late to the appointment. I will definitely not deal with sandstone reality in the future.
I give Sandstone Realty a 5 STAR RATING. When I have a issue it is solved. They promptly addresses the need.They return phone calls. They assistance with paperwork concerns.The property yard maintenance is great.. The individual units are properly clean and safe. Sandstone is an excellent realty company. I would recommend them to others.
Ive been renting from Sandstone for almost 3 years now. They are absolutely great and I would recommend them to anyone. Their rent prices are decent, they work with you when you need them to, they answer quickly when you submit a Maintence request. The company is all around great to rent from!
Sandstone realty is a great property management company. The maintenance department is very efficient, they get things done in a timely manner. They care about their renters and if they feel your a little uneasy or fraustrated they turn tour grown upside down. They are very knowledgeable, kind and funny especially Jessica. I would definitely recommend sandstone realty to anyone.
Ive been renting from Sandstone for several years. Great company! Fast maintenance request response time. Understanding with unexpected issues. Very easy app for payments and requests, or a local office for face to face contact. Rent is kept affordable. I refer everyone in need to Sandstone!
This company is slumlords they take their time responding to maintenance request if the even respond at all. I pretty much had to threaten to pay my rent to escrow every time I needed something fixed in order to get a response from them, I was without a working refrigerator for more than a month ( & I have 2 kids), my sink was leaking for about 6 months & was still leaking when I moved out. They also try to change you for anything they can, I was told that the lawn care was my responsibility & there would be a lawnmower on the premises which there was not so I told them & they sent some to cut the grass & charged me $35 for it. They pretty much hid the water bill from until it got up to a few hundred dollars, made me pay them the balance proceeded to NOT PAY the bill & told me the entire balance was my responsibility which I would have no problem with if I just paid them almost $200 on this current bill. So in short they charged me my for what they said was the water bill but never made the payment to the water company, so form that point on I had to make my payments to the water company directly because clearly Sandstone Realty is untrustworthy & just trying to take advantage of people. I think the positive reviews for this company are fake, I strongly suggest you do not do business with this company you will regret it!!!!!!!!
Absolutely deplorable company to rent from, which I never will again. My pregnant wife fell down our fight of stairs due to property management not coming out for TWO WEEKS after a report was made about our banister coming out of the wall. It was messed up when we first moved in and got progressively worse. Not to mention when we moved in there was broken glass from windows in the main bedroom and living room, as well as floor and wall damage in the kitchen, which was obviously from a previous tenants child; nail polish spilled inna big blob on the floor, left to dry and be stuck, as well as red crayon or marker marks all up the stair case and in the kitchen. They still seem to believe I owe them money for this slum property, as they just opened a new account and bill (I haven’t lived there in almost TWO YEARS) for over a thousand dollars. I’d like to know how I owe you money when I haven’t lived there, and your first collections claim was proven false and taken off. I am beyond fed up with this company, as I know many other people who have actually had to rent from them are. I’m at my wits end and ready to get my lawyer involved. Save yourself the hassle and DO NOT rent from this company. They’re sweet and swell and nice when you’re looking, but once you become a tenant, forget about it. I hope this business fails, honestly.
I rent from sandstone i’ve been with them for 5 years i love them if i have any issue i put in work order and they get to it fast and follow up and make sure it was done especially being a outside vendor the people in the office are great as well always smiling and greeting me or my husband as well with great attitude. i will definitely refer them to anyone actually my son and daughter in-law are renting from them as well and are happy with there apartment
Joyce and her crew have been VERY helpful with my rental property in Sandusky! They are ready to answer any questions I have, worked with me to find a new tenant quickly after the former ones left and handles all the repairs reasonably.I highly recommend them for property management. They make my rental property a passive income.
If I could give this place a 0 I would. Do not rent from them. The maintenance was a joke. The one time we actually needed something done, they tried to threaten us that we’d have to pay for it when we only lived there 2 weeks. The landlord showed up in our yard constantly doing yard work when it was our responsibility and it scared me several times when he’d be outside my window. Thank god my boyfriend can fix things himself because we didn’t trust them after they tried to pull that. Then I give my notice on their portal and they tried to claim we didn’t and it’s mysteriously gone on the portal. How convenient...even though I directly spoke to Judy about it when she asked if we were renewing. Then they want to charge us $730 for clean out when we left that place WAY BETTER than what we moved into. I have pictures to prove what a mess we moved into. I’ve rented from a lot of places and this is the worst by far.
Im a investor in Ohio,i gave an 11 Unit multi house apartment to Sandstone Realty, and i must say that the way they deal with everything is absolutely wonderful , professional.i almost forgot i had this investment, if not the direct deposit i got every week.Thank you Sandstone Realty & i definitely recommend it to anybody having an investment in the area
We have been with Sandstone for 2 years. Nothing but great things they do when we have any issues with our house. Our oven went out Sat morning and family was coming over for dinner. By Sat afternoon they had the ignitor installed and we were baking. Secured our front screens to make sure it will be hard to remove if anyone tried breaking in. The owner of the house left it in good hands to manage.Mark & Beth
First of all, I would like to say they do have a nice array of properties available. Thats not the problem though. I found a place I was interested in and went through the entire qualification process online. Thats standard just to get a chance at scheduling a viewing. I chose a date and time and confirmed it about 5 times per their instructions. I arrive on time and see another couple waiting to view the place too. After 15 minutes of waiting, they left. Thats when I called the office. I got through to someone, explained the issue, was put on hold for 10 minutes. Finally, someone else picked up and asked what I needed. I explained yet again that their leasing agent hadnt arrived. The lady said, oh hang on, umm well that probably means no one is coming. I was so angry I hung up. After which I recieved a text thanking me for viewing this same property. I cant even! So unprofessional and rude!
Finding a great property management company in Lorain sometimes isnt a pleasurable experience, luckily a friend recommended Sandstone Reality and I have been working with them since. Jessica in the maintenance department is a pleasure to speak to and work with. I would definitely recommend Sandstone to future residents : )
Sandstone Rocks!! Thank you for all you do. I’ve never had issues with anything and you make my home experience great. I love that there is a bilingual lady working there. That helps my mother that only speaks Spanish. Again, thank you for your dedication to your tenants! 5 stars for sure!!
I’m a current property owner. This company likes to spend you money without telling you. I’ve got several charges that haven’t been communicated. In 3 moths they haven’t placed a tenant, charged me 2000 for repairs, all well taking a monthly cut, and a fee for signing a lease in which the tenant was already there. I’ve been very unhappy and wouldn’t recommend. I keep receiving bills instead of the rent owed. Do not use this company.

He is always searching for ways to streamline processes, ensure quality service, take advantage of new technology, and maximizing cashflow for his clients. I highly recommend Sandstone Realty.
Horrible management company. Rent from anyone else . Maybe they will actually show up when u submit a maintenance request because sandstone just cancles everything. I had the people upstairs stealing my electricity in the basement for 3 months and every month I told sandstone to come and check the electric line and they never came out to verify anything . And now the tenants upstairs moved out and my electric bill dropped almost $45 a month ... they did nothing And never even attempted to help ... I will definitely be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau... Unless you want to be robbed of your money. And never treated with the respect you deserve as a lawful tenant .. don’t rent from sandstone
They are the best leasing company Ive rented from to date! Friendly, knowledgable staff that showed me several option for our budget! They werent pushy or even trying to make the best buck for them! They genuinely cared what war best for our family. Any need or request Ive ever had has been addressed and delt with! Such a huge relief to be able to trust everyone in this company!
Management stinks, invoices are never correct. They change lease terms to fit themselves. Have not returned deposit that they held for 2 years of me leasing from them. Provided a detailed list of deductions which included the month after my lease. Also attempting to deduct $450. plus on carpet cleaning on carpet that was the original carpet since 1980,s which life expectancy is 7-9 years if it has been professionally maintained. All sorts of frivolous charges that will not stand up in court. Do as I have and video eaxh and every room when you move in and especially when you move out or they will keep your deposit. They also took a $3,000.00 Custom made Driftwood chair that i had gave them notice I needed 4 more days till I would have help loading chair into a truck. I left it out of the way in the driveway.. They took it. I will be starting a blog on all future court dealings with sandstone realty. I will be filing a lien on the property while i await a court date seeking my full deposit with 5 percent interest, all legal fee,s and anything else the court will allow.. 1 stand up person with Sandstone is Stephanie. Nothing good to share about their company or other members of the company. Will post blog site and other contact numbers in about a week. Stay away from this company is my advice.
I applied for one of there properties so i made 3 times the rent i have a good background i get an email stating i did not make enough which that was a lie!! I called and the lady couldnt tell me nothing!!! She was rude to me maybe u guys need to make ur requirements better understanding
I wish I could give them zero stars.Dont rent from this company. The only thing theyve done right is make it easy to pay them.Ive spent the entirety of my time renting property from them dealing with squirrels inside my ceiling and attic, and ramshackle repairs consistently late and marred by gross incompetence unless they actually hired someone else to deal with it. I spent a weekend without water thanks them KEEPING THE HEAT OFF DOWNSTAIRS DURING A POLAR VORTEX OF SUBZERO TEMPERATURES.Avoid their property like the plague.Edit: update: Items in my apartment have gone missing after their maintenance contractors came without my presence.So I finally moved out of their ramshackle housing, (the squirrels are still in the house) and despite mailed and emailed notice and returning my keys with a receipt, they somehow charged me for the next months rent. I called them and before knowing who I was accused me of not returning my keys. Please rent elsewhere, as I can only imagine this isnt the last of me dealing with them.Also, they have their employees posting fake reviews here, including an employee WHO REFERS TO THEMSELF IN THE REVIEW.

It is clear to me that their priority is working with homeowners – not tenants.Of the reviews listed on this site, there are approximately 9 that are clearly written by homeowners and 17 that are clearly written by tenants (not including my own). The average star value is as follows:Homeowners: 4.8 starsTenants: 2.2 starsFor context, I am a tenant of Sandstone Realty and have lived in one of their properties since April 2017. After numerous issues with heat & repairs from vandalism being resolved to the bare minimum (after an undue amount of effort from my part to get a response), I feel it is my responsibility to share my experiences with others who are considering working with this company. The incredible lack of empathy for our most recent issue (the window in the room where our babies sleep was vandalized) & sheer amount of time it took to fix (over 4 days for it to be boarded up; nearly 3 weeks for a new window) really sent my family over the edge. Please do your due diligence before working with this company.
I have 3 properties that Sandstone Realty manage for me. They are great with correspondence and keep me updated on any issues with the property or tenants. My latest tenant moved out at the beginning of June and they have already have a new tenant in 2 weeks. It makes owning properties out of state easy!
The duplexes they own in Fillmore circle in Lorain all have roaches & they don’t handle the problem. The infestation just travels from house to house. Thinking about calling the health department and the newspaper about this issue since it has been ongoing for a while.
They have been managing a duplex for me and the PM exceeded my expectations. The owner portal is well organized and Joyce is always friendly and quick to respond. I peppered them with questions for the first few weeks as this was my first time working with a PM company and they were patient with me and always very helpful. I will definitely put more properties under their management.
Unsatisfied the list can go on........... very unprofessional maintenance sucks, house has major gas leak and its going on 2weeks now , communication terrible I wish I could give it 0 stars its that terrible the foundation of the house is terrible openings were they just pit a board up infested with mice had to fix that problem my self, house has sewer problems and the whole nine yards smh they had outstanding water and sewer bill they try to pin on me 4months to the end of my yr leas . And the workers are so rude and unprofessional in person and operating phones Im just 😷
First month rent had to be money order even though I had cash in hand at the office. They leased me a foreclosed house without telling me and when it sold I received a call from the new owner without ever hearing a word from sandstone. The house was filthy when I moved in even though I found a letter saying they kept half of the previous tenants security deposit for cleaning. Their repair men are awful and upper management is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. After asking around, my experience matches the reputation sandstone has around town from realtors, and other renters. Steer clear of this greasy operation.Note that two of the five star reviewers share the last name of an employee that other reviewers had nice things to say about. I have no doubt she was a great employee but leads me to believe other five star reviews are not genuine.
Was shown a house for rent with a friend of mine. The person showing the house was late, the house shown literally had a ceiling fan that was plugged into an outlet with an orange extension cord. 2nd place we looked at was sold while I was touring it, they still took and kept the application fee though. Garbage company.
I have to say that my first and only experience with Sandstone PM was as an owner. I called them and gave them the address to a home I just bought with tenants. I didn’t call them back because they believed the rent was 100 dollars to high. They went to the home without my permission and told the tenants that I was charging them too much.
I lived in one of their properties for 3 years when I first moved in they never paid the water bill it got shut off the first week of living there had to wait 4 days for the water company to come and turn back on the water. After that I didn’t have any complaints with them until recently, the house I am currently staying in got sold and the new owners decided to not stick with sandstone. With that being said I was never contacted or told about this or that the house I was renting was even for sale!! I went to pay my rent and they told me they no longer manage this property and I look thru my emails and there was one from them asking how was my move out? Now that blew me because we didn’t move and when I asked for information on the new home owners so I can contact them they said they had no information on it!! Like how do you have 0 info on who I can contact so finally after a little over a month and searching I found the new owners of my house and We had a talk they thought sandstone informed me about everything that was such a headache and the worst experience I ever had
I purchased a house thru Sandstone Realty. Very pleased with the results. The maintenance crew did a wonderful, professional and expert workmanship on the house. Kari, the realtor, was on top of things since it was a new experience for both of us - buying a house in an online auction. Thank you everyone.
BEWARE THIS COMPANY! They tried to collect rent on a property that I owned. Sandstone told my tenants to not pay me rent, that they would be collecting from then forward. They had no authorization to do so, furthermore Id never heard of them prior. I understand that mistakes happen, but they then CALLED ME to collect the rent from me for the property that I owned. WOW! Instead of correcting the situation with the tenants and me, i get a text saying my account was updated. WHAT ACCOUNT? I dont know you. If your an investor. choose another company to manage properties. Reported to the state for mal practice.
I am currently a tenant with this company and my water was shut off ( i have three small children including a newborn)because they were $700 behind. I was comforted with “ well we sent out the check a week ago” and “call tomorrow and see if they received it). I’ve also had leaks in the basement the entire time I’ve lived here. I’ve made numerous work orders and the “handyman” has been out numerous times. Don’t waste your time or money here.
My mom Aida speaks no english and thank god for the woman Jessica being bilingual! She was able to call the vendor and translate for her to get her work order done! It’s great to have to have someone who is bilingual in a company! It’s a plus she a deserves a raise!!!!! Thank you sandstone!
DO NOT rent from this company you WILL regret it. Their staff is extremely rude, good luck getting maintenance done and the property we rent which is in a beautiful upscale neighborhood in Lakewood is completely rundown and looks like it should be in the ghetto. The rent is low but theres a reason for that. They are more concerned with keeping the property owners happy than the tenants. Just look through the reviews the ONLY positive reviews are from the property owners. Worst company ive ever rented from.
We got pushed into these unprofessional..... our lease was sold to these ingrates!Office personnel are extremely rude and do not like to let folks get a word in. Low level bullies/sharks that think folks are petrified of them! maintenance of property never gets complete. The household was broken into when it was vacant. The corner cutting repairs are too noticeable. Tiles werent placed correctly rising off the floor. The door frame were the thieves got into the house from was NEVER fixed even after requesting (thank God my father is a carpenter). All they scream out is money money money!
They do a great job managing my properties. They take care of everything from A to Z. They do the repairs, screen prospective tenants, collect the rent, evict the non-paying and problem tenants. If I buy any more rental properties, Ill be certain to have them managed by Steve and his team.
Terrible scam artist and don’t ever deal with Jessica and Connie very rude and they steal your money. Terrible service and rude receptionist with a bad attitude and will definitely hang up on you. They never get back to you and friends that have also lived for them always have mildew and mold in their properties. Get it together...
First I had to call them because the website was screwed up and whoever I talked to was not helpful at all, kind of rude, and just told me to go back on the website. So I did, I scheduled a viewing from the only two options I was given. Got a text from a guy named Jason that was going to show us the place saying he was going to be 5 minutes late. then as soon as we got closer to the house ( we also live 45 minutes away from this property so this wasn’t convenient at all), he texted us saying there wasn’t a lockbox on the door and he couldn’t get in and said to reschedule . I responded And told him I was Very interested in coming back but he didn’t get back to me. A couple days later I texted him again asking when we could come back and he only gave me one time for a day and I tried to compromise with a later time that day and never heard back. Sent numerous emails. Very odd for a reality to not want you to rent their property. Super disappointed in this company. I wish that house was with a better realtor . Awful.
Multiple incidents of vandalism, told me I have to give 60 days notice to leave. Never said if I would get my deposit back, which leaves me to believe no. Have lived in the property for 18 months, always paid on time, obviously could care less about my and my sons safety or the $775 these incidents have cost me now. Just care about the money they charge the homeowner for doing nothing.
Terrible company and personnel at this company. My daughter pays her rent faithfully every month and she has been waiting for months to get her roof repaired. She has been calling and calling to check on when someone will come fix it before it caves n and she keeps getting the run around. The lady who answers phone has been nasty to my daughter as well as some male person. They talks to her like she is nothing. This place need to close its doors if they cant handle business with speed and respect for humans. It makes sense to fix the problem before it gets worse. No one want a roof to fall down on their furniture that they worked hard to get. Gods sees and hears all!!!!!!!! Treat people like u want to b treated.
Id give zero stars if I could. Dealing with the front desk girl is absolutely horrible. The attitude given is the most unprofessional thing I have dealt with and there is no care in their end. Dont bother calling for help after you rent because it becomes an inconvenience. Maybe they should find people who are more professional. The only positive was the maintenance has been done but thats not without confusion as well.
As a property owner, I must say that the quality of service I get from Tiffany Cuevas is top notch!!! Shes always very polite and never rude or mean, she has a professional demeanor and appearance. She the most sweetest and kindest hearted person you will ever, in your life, have the privilege of meeting. She was kind enough to even offer me water while I was there at the office. What can I say, Tiffanys a swell lady!
Im am very pessimistic when it comes to paying for someone to provide a service to us. 90% of the time my wife and I do not get what we pay for so I usually opt to do it myself. Steven you and your crew are the exception, you have exceeded our expectations! factoring in that we live so far apart you took our problem from us and fixed it. My Parents if they were still alive would be so impressed with what there home has become!
Id rate them 0 if I could. This realty is garbage. Their service is horrible and their staff is very rude, every single one of them but one lady I spike to and dont remember her name. They dont fix anything and when you want to speak to someone their is always a middle man and never someone to actually help with your issues or respond. The only time I hear from them is the 1st for rent and when my grass needs cut, ither than that i hear nothing about what needs done.The home i am renting from them nowIs my first home and it has not been a good esperience. It was very poorly and carelessly fixed or taken care of before i moved in and I didnt notice till after I moved in and everything started going bad. The tenants before me had aninals and urinated all over and it smells horribly and they are unwilling to replace it, everytime they send someone to clean it the smell just gets worse. Also its very dirty and i have to wear shoes at all time, and the 1 year old I babysit still crawls and her knees and feet are black 5 min after I put her down. My home is infested with ants and at one point i seen a roach. They havent fixed that problem either. My basement floods and i can smell mold. Also the basement walls look like their caving in. Everyone Ive met that knows of sandstone or rented from them have nothing good to say about them and neither do I,, Including my cable man, carpet cleaners they sent out here, friends, and apparently everyone rating.I am a very clean person and I am very nice. I do not deserve this treatment.Anyone who is going to court and needs help I am willing to testify.
Set up several appointments on apartments and literally got stood up. Including this morning for 7am another no show. It’s a waste of time and money and it’s very upsetting. Last appointment we made was during work hours and a no show. We lose our money and work time for a company to not even show up. They won’t answer their phone either. Would give 0 Stars

Since COVID it’s been so hard to find a place that will help you with renting and Jessica helped us and told me a list of properties that take Section 8 and I’ve found a place with them I love my apartment thank you Jessica and Sandstone and they also got a laundromat can’t beat that !!!!
This company is terrible ! We never get to see the water bill which goes up and down monthly it’s says my lease is up January 31,2020 they told me we would have to stay there all the way to February 2020 which is confusing because the lease is up this month so it’s like they’re making us stay there smh I hate this company and to make it bad we had another realty company and sandstone took over i never signed a new lease or anything it’s like they’re making stuff up as they go then every time you turn around the city has to come out to see the house smh
I wish I could give this company 0 stars because they are THAT BAD!!!! Horrible with communication, and customer service is non-existent. Especially if you talk to a woman named Bonnie, she will have an attitude and no answers. Whats makes this worse, is she claims to have been doing this for four years! What a joke!!!! If you have a choice, please avoid the headache of this company.

Worst experience ever my deposit was cut in more than half for bogus claims and also when confronted all they said was hire a lawyer steer clear from this crooks also they do not fix problems we reported low water pressure and they just never fixed it. wouldnt rate any stars
I live at a property of theirs, sometimes they do not pay the garbage bill so it goes weeks without getting picked up, on multiple times the building lost hot water, several times the washer and dryer quit working, ceilings leak and they do a cheap patch and it leaks again. Please stay away!
This company need to be rated a 0 if could a friend of mine rent from them an it all seemed good when she moved into the place right after getting keys she stopped by property it was a problem window was broken a week later she was having headaches it was 3 gas leaks in the house an they rented it to her without a working hot water tank so she could take warm showers two months later her bathroom ceiling was leaking someone came to fix it but never came back to repair the ceiling house was also dirty when she moved in toilet seat had mold under it she bought a new one trash was in the basement an back porch trash is all in her backyard toilet plumbing problem she also has now she tells me an for the first 4 months they had her not paying a water bill then started adding it to her rent when it should of been added from start upon it saying it on her lease tenants upstairs for her has roaches she assume cause there seen downstairs in her place also mice she reported the problem no one ever showed they go an have your lease made to where you dont move to the end of the month of your lease signing for exmaple you sign lease feb 1st or 8th 2018 your lease not up till the end of that month next year so they can get a extra month of rent there unprofessional honestly Im leaving this review for her cause I know shes to nice but no one should rent from them they slums I feel so she also puts in an 60day notice they want a 60day notice instead of 30day notice now since she been paying rent but not the full amount of water bill fee there asking for they wanna evicit her an she moves in a few weeks anyway seem like they dont wanna give someone they deposit back to me also its more she lives in a two family/duplex with one meter I dont see how she has to pay a water bill period that she also dont have the account number too I have relatives thats in real estate an Ive heard that you dont suppose to have tenants pay water bill wit shared meters but anyway Im gonna cut it short if your looking for a place to stay please dont go here cause now a young friend of mine is gonna have a eviction on her name for 7yrs cause there mess up
Worst company to ever rent from paid rent on time every month they agreed to take my section 8 wasted two months of my time lying about the packet to only tell me they wont renew my lease and to boot they dont fix anything half the windows in the house dont open and the porch is rotting off do not rent off these con artists
Have been waiting a week to hear back about a property, called a few days after the showing to follow up and was told they have not been able to get ahold of the owner of the house, then I called today and sat on hold for about 5-7 minutes then it went to voicemail, I cant seem to get the information I need.
They havent fixed anything that I complained about the windows I have had issues from day one of not locking upstairs one was duct tapped shut the black mold in laundry room the ants are ridiculous cabinets falling off asked b4 I moved in for a privacy fence in back due to the alley in the back and I can go on and on but because they showed little to no interest in this property my daughter was the 6 year old that was kidnapped and rapped they dont even deserve the one star and I paid a 1390 deposit and getting difficulties getting it back

2022-02-02I felt my interactions with the representative over the phone could have been better. No resolution to my issue. May or may not be there fault but the interaction was not pleasant. I do like the house I rent and the actual landlord so that’s a plus.

2022-03-15I spent a day missing holes and painting with a paint match I bought from HD. Didn’t get a few spots on the ceiling. They charged $650 for an hour of work and less than a quart of paint.There was stuff in the basement when we moved in ($50 charge) and the carpets were damaged when we moved in ($70 charge). Did they charge the last tenants for those things too? Did they fix the problems after we left? Do they just screw people out of security deposits?You may not have the luxury of avoiding renting from a management company, but if you do avoid this one. And if you are a land lord who understands the importance of taking care of the people who pay you for a roof, do not work with this company.

2022-07-19Absolutely terrible company to rent from, they completely cheated us out of our deposit money and the service they gave us was absolutely disgusting the whole year through. We wouldn’t have leased through them another year if the house was free, I’m someone who lives for good service and Sandstone is anything but that.

2021-11-01Very unresponsive. Does not answer calls or return messages. Have been transferred to the Office Manager, Margarite & have left very detailed & lengthy messages to only STILL be kept waiting!This is an extremely disheartening turn of affairs, (especially after spending the required charges for my Familys application fees.) There are nice Properties that it appears Sandstone manages. However, if the company continues to treat perspective tenants the way that they do, then they are doing Homeowners a serious dis-service by cheating them out of wonderful renters/ (income).

2021-08-30I left a one star and wasnt going to comment until I saw the the response from Sandstone. Rented from them for a year and they would post eviction notices on the door if the rent was more than 3 days late. We go accused of changing the locks and we never did. We paid our rent within a week of the 1st of the month every month and did not live there for 6 month without paying. They are not professional and would not recommend this company to anyone.

2019-05-03I have been renting from Sandstone for 1 year and have nothing bad to say about Sandstone Realty. When I come into the office Connie and Jessica always greets me with a smile and Jessica is bi-lingual which helps a lot. The get to my work orders in a timely matter. I would recommend Sandstone to any of my family and friends. Paul is always available to answer all questions I may have. Steve and Kari is always nice when I see them at the store or church. Great company I will rent from them for as long as they will have me.

2018-06-19I have had a great experience working with Sandstone. They are professional and well run. As a property owner who uses their management services they have done a great job ensuring everything runs smoothly and in taking care of issues that arise right away. The communication with the amazing people there such as Joyce, Kari, Paul and Joe, is great and their online statements, owners portal and payment system is fantastic and easy to use. They allow me to not be busy with the property and know that it is in good hands. I would highly recommend using their services.
