The employees are friendly and act professional. I should not have had to shave them come out again. Four years ago we had our sewage line replaced due to reoccurring backups in basement. After thousands of dollars and telling us how they fixed the issue we were told that we would be backup free for at least 10 years. Two years later the sewage backs up again. They come out and unclog the blockage. Two years after that our basement floods with 3 inches of sewage. They come out to find that they never replaced all the pipe they said they did. Had to have the while basement professionally cleaned, by their company, and were charged through our insurance. Then they wanted another $6000 to do the work that should have been done 4 years prior. Now 7 months after all that and we still have sewage backs up on our basement. Plus the hole in my yard has never been completely filled in.
Service technician Dawson was very professional and did excellent work I am very satisfied with all aspects of the service call would defy use this company again. Honestly I could not have got a better service tech
Absolutely blown away by the competence, efficiency, and just how pleasant and kind absolutely everyone I was in contact with was. Scheduling the appointment was extremely easy and quick. And I can’t say enough good things about the technician, Chase, that came out to my home. There were a few different issues that came up during the repair, and he handled them all with great competence and skill. He was also extremely pleasant and kind, and provided me with a ton of information for upkeep to prevent the issue in the future. Was also great in giving me the most affordable option for repair. Will 100% continue with Roto-Rooter for absolutely any plumbing issues.

I had a sewage back up, I called Roto Rooter and Tyler Redinger showed up at my door 90 minutes later. Tyler explained everything to me thoroughly and made sure I understood my options. Very professional and courteous, and he’s a great tech! He found other tree roots that my previous plumber (from 3 weeks ago) had missed, and he jetted them out. Problem solved. Highly recommend.
Update, The company contacted us immediately and listened to our concerns. We want to thank Roto Rooter for listening and understanding our situation and we are very happy with the resolution. Thank you Roto Rooter the work was professionally done..... We were told he would be here at 11:30am. The city water man was here on time to shut off the main. The city man had to leave because roto rooter was not here on time. I called the office and was told he would give me an ETA. Never got a call till 12:50pm to say he was on his way. He said he was overbooked by the office. Paid premium price for this service that was late! I could have gotten it alot cheaper and would not be upset about the lateness but to pay that price I expected more from them. A simple phone call to let us know you are going to be an hour and half late would have helped. If you have a day to waste and lots of money to spend then this is the company you want.
The tech was great, he was professional and did the best he could. The company that sets up the techs appointment and the techs truck need to do a better job. The poor tech had to wait for another truck to show up because the techs truck didnt work. It wasnt what we expected from a company like this.I would rate lower if it wasnt for the tech. He saved it from 1 star.
Rob was very professional and polite. He resolved the problem quickly. He provided information to help us prevent the problem from recurring. He left the bathroom as clean as it was before he arrived. I would request him again if we have any future issues.
They gave me a fast quote and after I decided to go with them they took out the old water heater and put the new one in, under 3 hours total time. Very quick and efficient! Rob was our tech and he did a great job and was friendly.

Followed by the inevitable So... We have availability in your area from 4pm-6pm.Now dont get me wrong, I am completely understanding of delays. But three different phone calls that continued to push back our service is a bit unreasonable. Having service done in home with both parents working puts a lot of strain on the day, and preparation. So having it all pushed around made us have to totally restructure our day. No, not a huge inconvenience and most definitely a first world problem. But hey, they sent me a text after the service asking for this review, so... There it is.

Awesome service. They were clean, fast, direct and fully attention to our doubts. They came in the scheduled time; they called before to give us a heads up about the ETA; they were very polite and respectful; and did make all the explanations about the service and price clear and understandable. The service was really well done and they still give us some tips about how to proceed in case of other problems in the end.Before they came, the company called us and also send msgs about who was coming with pictures (safety*-*).I have just good things to say about and for sure I will call them again in the future when needed.

My technician was willing to explain what he was working on and teach me about plumbing while he worked. There are a few design flaws in my house’s system, but at least I know about them now and understand how they could be improved.In addition, they made an appointment for me on short notice when my natural gas was leaking, and were thorough in both testing and repairs. Victor even found an issue that the gas company’s inspector had missed. Thank you!

Our hot water tank had given up on doing its job and decided to quit without giving its two week notice. So we decided to reach out to Roto-Rooter to see if they could help us find a new one for the job. They were kind enough to find a replacement for us and install it for us. The new hot water tank is a real good worker. Does its job quicker and better than the old one and never complains about its job. Its a real looker too. I think our furnace has a crush on them. They seem to be real cozy with each other for the most part. Roto-Rooter was quick at answering our call and taking care of our problem. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a plumbing problem.Thanks Roto-Rooter for finding us a awesome worker for the job of being a hot water tank. Rob called in route to give us a time of arrival. They where completely professional and health conscious. A small piece of drywall needed removed and the dust clean up was impeccable. Have used this company before, and all the employees we dealt with are grade A.
We just had our water tank replaced by Brent today!we are very satisfied with the installation. Brent was extremely professional and polite, he worked quickly to get the job done.Our only complaint is the price of $1300 for a 30gal water tank with minimal plumbing installation.We also appreciate the timely manner to get the job done. We called at 9:30am and it was done at 5:30pm

Kevin from the Wooster location called and came to our house earlier than the appointment window (MUCH appreciated) and was so diligent about finding the issue. We were afraid this was going to be a major issue regarding frozen pipes (-21 here today). He was able to find the problem-a minor problem that could have become a major problem-so quickly and fix it with ease. We are so appreciative and are Roto Rooter customers for life!! He was absolutely a kind and courtes gentleman to this 8-month pregnant mama while i was Home and my husband was at work. We are forever grateful!!

Called on the weekend and Mike the tech came the same day. He took the time to explain routine maintenance and the job he performed today is guaranteed for 3 months. Great company.
Rob came out at the scheduled time. He knew exactly what he was doing, diagnosed and fixed the problem. It was a little pricey, but Rob had all the tools, the line camera, and the high pressure jet to clean the main line. I would definitely call Roto-Rooter again.
The plumber was very nice and seemed to know what he was doing. He also cleaned up well. However, we were told he would call when he was on his way, and he arrived 15 minutes late without calling first. He cracked the tile around our access door, which we had opened and closed multiple times in the past without incident. Also, we had been given a quote for doing the job through the access door, but were told if we went through the wall in front it would be significantly cheaper. We elected to go through the wall in front, but were charged the full amount from the quote we had been given for going through the access door. When I objected, some was taken off the bill, but based on the original charge Im not confident we got a fair price. Overall it wasnt a terrible experience, but Im unlikely to use this company again.

Brandon exihibited a positive ‘can do’ attitude while tackling a very root filled sewer line with a water jet. While the service took longer than I expected, I don’t fault the company nor their employee for being thorough. A difficult job well done.

My kitchen sink was draining super slow. I had taken pipe off to see if I could clean out myself and cleaned the elbow. However, there was gunk & greasy stuff going down into the pipe. I called Roto-Rooter because I received a magnet on phone book and thought I would check them out. Reasonable prices. Marcus came out and did a great job!! Called about sewer backup. They were friendly and responsive. Scheduled for 6 pm but they were able to show up early. Hydro-jetted the problem and video scoped to inspect. Would use them again. Fair price and good service.
Scheduled for a repair at my house. I scheduled a vacation day for this repair to happen. The business was a no show till 1pm when I called to see when the repair guy was coming since no one has shown up yet. They told me that I wasnt on the schedule and it would be tomorrow before they could get to me. Wouldnt recommend!!

Job was to partially do some repair work to an outdoor drain system....I wish to commend the technician, Ben Ladich for a very good jobcompleted with professionalism and Shannon Corrigan for her support......I must however say that this Roto Rooter is very expensive....The job was scheduled to take 8 hours .... it was completed in about half of the time with little to no materials...yet the charge was reduced by a mere 16%...not very enticing if you are on a limited seniors budget...Thanx again to Ben & Shannon !
I just had roto rooter come to my house tland check the storm drain for clogs. He used the camera and checked the drain. He told me he was able to inspect 200 ft with their camera. He was only able to see 100 ft of the tile, which put it under my garage. There is still quite a bit more tile to check, but he said he was not able to due to the camera cord not being able to push the camera anymore. I had to pay 220 dollars and I still dont if my entire property is clear. That being said, their camera was working well, just wasnt able to do what I wanted.
Our Roto Rooter representative came out in the evening, spent all the time required to address our problem and offered good advice on steps we can take to avoid future problems. A nice touch was even having booties for the wheels of the equipment. This is the 2nd time we have used Roto Rooter and we have had great experiences.

We received exceptional service from both of the technicians who came out. We had a particularly difficult kitchen sink clog but they were able to get it free. Friendly and professional, we would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter!!!
It seems that the job was done correctly. Time will tell. Two issues technician left in the middle of job but came back the next day to fix. Also cost $681 which seems extreme when considering what was done and time period of when it was completed.

Joe was great. We had called him to unclog our main line. He was respectful, informative and pleasant to work with. He kept my husband and I up to date on what he was finding. Unfortunately we will need new piping but he gave us information on all of our options. We really appreciated the amount of time he spent finding different solutions for us and making sure that everything was taken care of.

Tom told me my gas valve was broken, parts no longer available, and I needed a new $1200 water heater install. Second opinion fixed it for $2 in parts, valve was fine. Unbelievable.

The person that came over extremely friendly and professional and the work was done but I think some stuff was lost in communication and its too late now to undo some of the work that was done. I wanted copper pipe put to match the rest of the copper and instead a plastic pipe was put it otherwise it would be a five star. Unfortunately I was at work and my wife was at home and she didnt look for it but I noticed it as soon as I got home and it was all paid for... So overall extremely friendly and professional employee and work was done but not exactly the way I would have it done if I was at home

I’m a new home owner and I found I had an issue with the drain in my basement. I called rotor rooter and they were able to come out that same day and they were on time. The technician, Brandon Becker, was very polite and knowledgeable. Being a first time home owner I had a lot of questions and he answered them knowing I was asking because I was curious and cared and was not judge mental at all. Highly recommend Roto-Rooter for my experience. Oh yea and my issue was solved and fixed within an hour and a half

We called for a clogged pipe, they were able to send a technician out within the hour at no additional cost. Ben came in, listened and explained what was happening and what he was doing. He was upfront about the cost of his action plan, which is much appreciated. Ben was in and out within 20 minutes, even with children and dogs making the house seem pretty chaotic, professional and personable.

$1,300 for a basic water heater 40 gallons seems a bit expensive. But when the guys there Saturday morning at my apartment it is hard to send him away and shop around when tenants are going without hot water. Maybe I am just too good of a landlord?
All around great customer service! Brandon came out in the middle of the night, was honest and thorough with his investigation. Although the issue was not able to be solved, he made arrangements for the work to resume immediately the next day. Kevin was wonderful - and truly took the time and effort to make sure we were heading in the right direction. Kurt also came to our house and was determined to get it right. We had a slow flowing kitchen sink drain. After several gallons of drain cleaner and several attempts to snake the drain myself. Brandon ( the Roto Rooter tech) came in, assessed the issue, gave us a method and cost to fix the problem. After our OK, he got right to work and completed the kid quickly. The drain now flows better then ever. Considering the work he had to do, the price was affordable and worth it. We also asked for a quote to replace our hot water tank. Before he backed out of our driveway, we had an email with a quote. I will use these guys again and will recommend them, without hesitation.

Matthew was the technician that came to my house. He is very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Matthew fixed the drain issue and gave advice on how to avoid my particular problem in the future. He also looked at a couple of other plumbing issues, offered several different options along with estimates for each option. This was a great experience, Roto-Rooter has a terrific technician and person in Matthew. When I schedule my additional plumbing repairs I will be requesting Matthew.

Great experience with Roto-Rooter again with helping unclog my downspouts in the backyard and side of the house. Ben was great at explaining how to fix the issue and showing me that the pvc pipes werent connected underneath which could cause problems down the road. Definitely recommend using for any issues that you might have.

Even though they are expensive, they do go the extra mile to make sure everything is done right.
Although they did a good job, they are incredibly overpriced. We had already diagnosed the issue and had the appropriate replacement hose already. Despite that, they charged 170 to simply replace the leaking hose which took less than an hour.We had our entire prior faucet taken out and a new one installed by a different company for 200. Would not recommend using unless absolutely desperate...

2022-07-05A messy and smelly problem showed up out of the blue this holiday weekend. Given the timing, right after the 4th of July, I thought for sure when I called Roto-Rooter that Id be at the end of a long line and would probably have to wait at least a day for someone to come out. Im happy to say that my call was answered almost immediately, and the R-R rep on the phone politely took all my information by asking easily answered questions that led to an accurate diagnosis of my plumbing problem. She set up an appointment for the same day. Joe, the R-R technician, showed up right on time, asked me a few more questions, and step by step mapped out exactly what needed to be done. Then he systematically followed his plan. Hoping to learn something, I stuck around. And he was kind enough to explain what he was doing and why. When the service work was done, I asked Joe for estimates on some other plumbing jobs that have to be completed in the near future. Again he worked professionally and efficiently, coming up with the estimates I asked for—again, with helpful added information. Based on good work—done well, quickly, and all with consideration for the customer—I highly recommend Roto-Rooter generally and its technician/plumber Joe specifically.

2022-07-21They came when they said they would but the job was not done satisfactorily the first time. Had to have them return to re do mold removal because they didnt get all of it. Left mold on the sides and in the bowl of the toilet.Not acceptable! That came and redid the neglected parts.

2022-02-02Dawson attended the clog in a timely manner and was very professional. He cleaned up the sludge that had gotten on the floor and on the face panels of the washer and dryer. While not having his camera with him, he was quick to ensure he added us to his schedule within a few days to complete the service, and he was effective at reviewing the warranty of his work should anything go wrong.
