We had a sewer line that collapsed that was located under the basement floor. The technicians were able to clear the initial clog that caused the sewer to backup, and were able to identify and locate the source of the issue. I was able to see on the inspection camera the area that had collapsed, and the technicians were able to identify the specific location that needed to be dug up in the floor using their equipment. All of the work was completed by the technician in a timely manner, and the quality of the workmanship in making the repairs was excellent. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work, and the serviceman who did all of the work was very courteous and professional. I have absolutely no complaints with the technician, or the quality and speed of his work. That being said, I feel like you should be aware that this level of service definitely comes at a premium. The job came in at $9k (gulp), but the work was done well, expediently, and all debris from the trenching was hauled off and disposed of, and we have a five year guarantee on the work completed.

Horrible customer care, amateur at best work.Charged 4x what 2 local companies quoted and Roto-Rooter didn’t do the job per the contract. Didn’t fix the leak, created a larger leak. Wouldn’t come out and help with leak for 12 hours even though they advertise 24 hour service. Refuse to try and resolve anything. Failed to keep their end of the contract and avoid all valid complaints.Absolutely pathetic company.

Greg the plumber was very helpful and courteous and friendly, and was very kind to my dog! :-) He seemed very skilled in diagnosing the problem and answering all my questions. He took time with me to make sure I fully understood what was going on. I also worked with project manager Corey, who helped me understand the cost of the project and the various options moving forward. Im going to need a fairly big project done so it was important that I understood, and it was important that they take the time to help me understand so that I can be present and accountable as the project progresses. I also worked with John with the water mitigation team, and he was responsive and knowledgeable and helpful in figuring out my insurance and getting things filed, which I greatly appreciate it. They still have to do a good amount of the work, so I totally give five stars to their diagnostic and project planning work. Now we wait and see how the rest of the big project goes in terms of installation and staying close to schedule. Im expecting very good things from the whole team. I should note that Im disabled, and thus far everybody on the team has been very helpful in accommodating me as this project progresses. I appreciate that almost as much as I appreciate the kindness all of them showed to my dog! :-)

Compromised pipe in foundation. Water proofed basement flooded. Roto-Rooter to the rescue! They came out that day, found the issue, worked with me as far as what was discovered and how they would repair, as well as handle the water restoration. It was a hard pill to swallow considering I really love my house. Jason was a voice of reason and was able to get me the financing I would need to pay for repair and restoration. Thank god I qualified for financing (another lesson as to why its a necessity to maintain good credit). Kyle was 1st guy to come out and snake sewer line to discover the breach. He was very cool and professional. Mike, one of the plumbers (forgot the other plumbers names please forgive) was beyond cool (as where the others) extremely cordial, professional and timely - which at that time being in panic mode, was what I needed. Im happy that I wont see them again (hopefully lol), but well worth it in the end. Remember most back door or friend plumbers dont offer guarantees if something goes wrong in the future. Something to think about when you want to add or work on plumbing in your house. Thanks Again

I was getting one thump when turned any faucet on or flushed toilet.Plumber was dispatched next day after I called. I was extremely happy with Rotor Rooter’s prompt service.Chuck my plumber was very knowledgeable. He checked my prv (pressure reducing value) to insure it was working properly which it wasn’t. Chuck explained everything to me as he was analyzing my problem.He needed to get parts for my repair therefore for both our convenience we scheduled the repair three days out. Although he was willing to complete job that same dayChuck was wonderful. Thank you Rotor Rooter and Chuck.No more thump when use water in home. I am a happy customer.

From the initial emergency call until the drivers left, they were very courteous. The drivers arrived within 30 minutes. Very knowledgeable and thorough in explanation of their services as well as the issue I was having. Did a main line sewer clean and clean up. Explained the process step by step allowing me to see exactly what was being done. Upon completion, they gave recommendations for what all would need to be done in future, leaving me totally at ease. It really SUCKS to walk downstairs and find out that “stuff” you thought you flushed away forever has paid you yet another visit…in a very untimely and unsanitary kind of way!!!! However, calling Roto-Rooter made this unpleasant situation much more bearable. They were very helpful on the phone and our technician arrived on time the next morning ( thank goodness!). Doug was very professional and informed me of his plan to find the issue. He was able to find the issue, discuss it with my husband and I, explain his plan to get things back to normal and answered all our questions. He was very friendly and informative. He completed the tasks and made sure we were satisfied with the results. He cleaned up after the job was completed. He offered some very helpful tips to prevent “unwanted visits” in the future. It was nice to have such a kind and pleasant technician with a solid base of experience and expertise! He definitely made this situation SUCK LESS! Thank you so much, Doug!!!

Doug was an excellent service technician who explained all causes and procedures in an easily understandable mode for me, as I have been an anxious customer in other experiences. He is a patient professional who provided an honest assessment and recourse for repair. His behavior put me at ease and made me feel confident in my own evaluation of the information I received and the ensuing plumbing repair proposed.I am convinced that , even on a Mother’s Day celebration, I was helped the company’s best employee. The Roto Rooter company is one which I shall always call plumbing and other types of repair.

Rene came out to check our hot water tank, the pilot light wouldnt stay lit. After looking at it, he gave usour options and we decided to replace it. Rene went and got the parts and did a great job taking out the old tank, installing the new tank, answering our questions and making sure we were happy with his service. He was awesome. He took the time to point out a couple of other potential problem areas we should be aware of and even adjusted one of our faucets. He noticed things we didnt think about. The first time out the a week ago was fast and easy l. They had it all cleared out and business was back to usual at our house. Today we got back up again and we got water back in the basement. I called and they sent a good team of Bryan and Matthew. They were able to locate the sewer clog not long after they got there. It seems it was on the county side of things! It stinks I had to have them come out twice. But that 6 month warranty was definitely worth the price. Now I am just hoping we can get the county to reimburse us for the service call! Of course were not holding our breath, but a man sure can dream!
