I Recommend 💯Here is what I’d recommend based upon what I ordered.*Butter Naan*Butter Chicken and the* Rice PuddingThe staff was very attentive to my order. The prices are perfect. Please support local family owned restaurants and give Rose a try.Rice pudding is very sweet just how I like it.
Amazing & mouthwatering Indian cuisine! Their curries, biryani, naan is super special. The new management is so much better & helpful. The chef has golden hands. Best Indian restaurant in NE Ohio. Highly recommend. This is going to be my number one choice when going for Indian food.
Absolutely the WORST Indian food ever!!! I am from India and have eaten Indian food all my life and this was the worst. Me and my wife could not even get past the first few bites. I would have given 0 stars but that is not a option on google. The service also was worst . Place is full of flies, server did not get water after asking twice and food had to be a few days old. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!
My wife and I stopped at Rose Garden by accident when a jug of water flipped over in the backseat of our vehicle and I frantically searched for a place to pull over. The jug placed right side up I noticed that I parked in front of Rose Garden and decided to stop for lunch. The gentleman who showed us to our seat and served us was polite and attentive, answering questions that we had.The food was amazing. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and my wife got the Veg Biryani and both dishes were just mouth watering and delicious. If I knew how to cook rice like the chefs here, I would likely never eat out again.
Ordered Palak Paneer, Tal Dadka, Butter Naan, and Vegetable Pakora on Grubhub and instead of the two meals, I got Curry Chicken.Grub Hub refunded the order, but when I called to order new meals, the person on the phone was hard to hear as I ordered, then there was nothing but background noise for a minute or so. I asked if he got my order, he just asked “what order?” and then hung up.We ended up eating what we did have, and it was awful. Somehow the chicken was extremely dry, yet cooked in a sauce. Salty and bland otherwise. Basically, it all tasted like a cheap frozen meal you’d buy at the grocery store. GO ELSEWHERE. I miss the old management, and their food. It was our favorite Indian food in the area, but now it’s the worst.
Ordered chowmein, realized they gave me momos once I opened package at home. Called store to notify, owner asks me what I want to do?🤷♂️ I told him I want what I paid for and tells me I can pickup food in 20 minutes. I go to pickup in about 30 minutes, had to wait another 30 in restaurant. Finally got what I ordered but couldnt finish eating chowmein, yes its that bad. New owner folks, food tastes horrible. Under old owners, food and service was fantastic, now the exact opposite.
Went for the Sunday Buffet and I was disappointed by the selection and poor service. Some food had nice flavor, but the chicken was dry, the rice was crunchy, and the mutton was nothing but broken bone pieces in sauce. The buffet wasnt well maintained either with food that wasnt refilled until we asked or appeared to have been sitting out for some time. The waitress was unenthusiastic, and acted like we were an inconvenience. She only brought us water, and never asked if we would like a different drink until we pulled her aside to ask. I like indian food but this place is not worth the money or time honestly. If you want better selection of food and service then take the time to go to Bombay Sitar in Canton.
Very disappointed with the food we ordered. We decided to order through Uber Eats tonight. Before COVID, this was our favorite restaurant, and we love Indian food. And we had ordered pickup before COVID, as well. Ever since the change in management, the quality of the food has really deteriorated. There is no care taken In the preparation of the food. Tonight we ordered Vegetable Momo (very underwhelming and bland), Paneer Makhani (SUPER salty and flavorless otherwise), Mango Chicken (which they called to replace because they didn’t have mango chicken, so we asked for it to be replaced with butter chicken. This was also incredibly salty), and an order or the Everest Naan Basket (supposed to have butter naan, garlic naan, and onion naan. It only had butter naan and not enough for the cost. It didn’t even seem like fresh naan. It was like store bought pita bread with flavorless butter on it). They don’t even offer different spice levels anymore. Can’t even taste the spices, if any, because of all of the salt.
Delicious and vegetarian-friendly. The place has had a modest facelift from when it was the Raj Mahal and the Nepalese owners have added a lot of Nepalese dishes. I have only been to the lunch buffet once but it had a great variety of choices. Great place to dine in or carryout. This review was for the Everest, I have not yet been to the new restaurant
Worst Indian food Ive ever had. Chicken Tikka Masala was a watery mess with no flavor and no heat. Also Im not sure whether it was chicken. The simosa was overcooked and bland. Rubbery naan. I guess the rice was the star only because I have nothing negative to say about it.
I can eat here everyday! The last couple months my boyfriend and I eaten here at least once a week. Ive had the lunch buffet a couple times and would have more, but, I tend to way over-eat. Yea, its a hole in the wall. Dont let that keep you from enjoying their food. Ive never had a bad experience there or never have I got sick afterwards. I am reading other reviews about no spice or flavor which I disagree with. Maybe these people dont realize you can order your food with different spice levels (mild, medium, hot, or Indian). I personally am not a fan of super spicy foods. At first I would order mild and now Im ordering everything medium - which is perfect since it doesnt melt my face off.My 12 year old daughter really enjoys their food, too. We will keep coming back.
The new ownership has done a great job renovating the restaurant and updating the menu. Their food is delicious and I highly recommend the masala chai at the lunch buffet. Weve been customers for a few years and this is one of our favorite spots in the Falls. Weve introduced a few friends to Indian cuisine from Everest take out and it never disappoints.
Worst Indian food I have encountered. I travel extensively and do not live in this area. It was neither Northern or Southern India style food. It had almost no flavor or spices and my family likened it to baby food. I dont know if the restaurant doesnt know how to prepare Indian food or they removed the spices in order to satisfy the local pallets of its patrons. The atmosphere was dumpy, run down, and dirty. I couldnt believe our bill when got it. I have eaten in elaborate and beautiful restaraunts with full wonderful flavor for that price. I understand that this area is not a desirable destination but at least try when charging such prices.
I have been going here for 17 years. After Chan and Vinni left, the place went downhill really really bad. The new owners now that it is EVEREST have resurrected the restaurant to its former glory days! The food is exquisite and very delicious! The staff is so kind and wonderful! I bring everyone I can to this amazing place! The food is very fresh and is made in house. Nothing prefab. I am so glad to have my favorite restaurant back, I go as often as I can! Congratulations to the owners and staff for rising above and shining brightly! Thank you so much for bringing back my favorite place!
New ownership has added a touch of elegance and expanded the buffet roster. Everything I tried was exceptional! And after the investment in time and money for the revamp, they actually lowered the price!Brilliant work. The chutneys were impossible to stop eating - especially with the pappadam and naan. Spice is at interesting but not aggressive levels. Nothing but high marks all the way around.
I’m giving it 2 stars because my waitress was good about menu suggestions/comparison descriptions - in regards to the Indian beer - and the serving sizes were generous. But I wasn’t a fan of the food; little to no flavor/seasoning, no naan bread served - unless ordered off the menu - and it was rare that my waitress returned to the table.
Great service and delicious entrees. The lunch buffet offers a great selection and the dinner menu offers Indian food as well as staples from Nepal. The decor is simple but comfortable. Every visit has offered fabulous dining for couples and large groups. Everest offers the finest Indian food around.
This restaurant is the best Indian restaurant around. They do what ever they can to make sure that your meal tastes wonderful. Dont be afraid to talk with them about the food they prepare. If the location was a little better, this would be 5 stars for me. This restaurant is what I compare all other Indian restaurant to; this is my gold standard.
The food here is really good. I did not ask however it looked like some of the dishes were vegetarian. So if you are into that sort of thing, well there you go. There were several curry dishes to choose from and the naan if gotten fresh is pretty good. Its not that great if its not still hot however. :/ Over all this place has some great food and it is quite reasonably priced.
I literally had to ask them if they could put more white rice out at the buffet. Furthermore, the workers are always on the phone, they NEVER check up on you or ask if you need anything. The food is generally good, but the service is horrible and Ill never step foot into that restaurant again. Id advise anyone who is thinking about going here, to save their money. Go to Bombay Grill instead =D.
I absolutely love the food here! You cant beat their delicious lunch buffet! You can try a variety of food and their naan. My daughter asks at least once a week if we can go so she can have their naan. I went to Saffron Patch after eating here. Saffron Patch cant even come close to the flavors Everest packs in their entrees! I highly recommend Everest.
Been there once like two months ago and totally waste of time and money. There was hair on our biryani and when I told the waitress there is a hair, she told me maybe it’s a ginger paste? Like how does a ginger paste look like that. They asked me they can make another one for us but I denied and didn’t eat that biryani. Good thing they didn’t charge for biryani. And not to mention the food wasn’t that good.
The food was finger-licking good. Chicken Tikka Masala was my fav so far. Decor could be improved. Service was great. We were there Thursday evening for dinner at 8:30pm and the place was quite. I have heard so many good things about this place and I am glad I tried. I will definitely go back again and again. I also want to try their lunch.
This place has really gone downhill since the change in management. The girl at the front desk was rude. Almost like I was bothering her. The peas and cauliflower in my curry were tough like they werent cooked long enough. I wont be returning unless they change mgt. AGAIN
The service is horrible. Food is meh....I prefer Bombay Grills buffet in Fairlawn. They at least do not sit on the phone while you have to stare them down for more rice (a staple food) so that you can continue your meal from the buffet. Service needs major improvement. This opinion after 6+ visits. The last one was the last one.
Very friendly service and the food is outstanding. My favorites are the samosas, chana masala, and aloo gobi. Ive never dined in but they are always so nice when I pick up. The restaurant is clean and tidy and smells wonderful. I just love this place - recommended all around!
I am a big fan of Indian food,I could eat it every day.I try different Indian restaurants whenever I get the chance. In the last month I have been here twice. Both times I thought that it was some of the best Indian / Nepali food that I have tasted. The chef knows how to cook.Very pretty hostess/cashier who also seems quite friendly :)
Went inside ,there were two guys sitting the only customers in building ,no server to be found ,two guys said sit down where ever , finally server came with one menu for the two of us,was getting creaky vibes also very hot , decided to leave when server came to take our orders

2022-06-25Absolutely delicious. We’ve been on the hunt for the best Indian restaurant in the area, and this is it. The food is always flavorful and hot. The service is always on point as well. We have been here multiple times and we’re never disappointed. Will be my go to place!

2022-07-18I had dinner at the Rose Garden restaurant tonight. I was the only customer there. (It was a miserable, rainy day, so most people probably just stayed home.) I ordered the lamb curry with spinach, which was good, and the Classic Bengali salad, which was fine.My only slightly negative comment would be that the server brought out both the salad and the main course at the same time. That meant that the entree cooled while I ate the salad. It was still warm when I got to it, but I imagine it was considerably warmer when it first came out of the kitchen. Since I was the only customer, the server was not busy. I suspect this is just a matter of rethinking their serving policy.

2022-05-03The chicken tiki masala and butter chicken were disappointing. Sauces were thin. The appetizers were actually a bit higher quality than other places, but not enough so.

2022-01-27I’m not even sure where to begin. My friends and I walked in delighted to try what Rose Garden had to offer, and we were met with such utter disappointment. We had ordered the chicken madras and chicken curry, and what was brought out was 1 extremely tiny portion of rice for both chicken entrees to share. Yet, as indicated per the menu, each entree should come with its own individual bowl of rice. When we raised our concerns to our waiter, he quickly brushed it to the side and told us we would simply have to share the rice, not giving a clear explanation as to why. When we pressed him further about it, he simply shook his head and walked away. To only add on to the experience, everything we ordered tasted mediocre and was stone-cold, when there were barely any customers in the restaurant! I can see why it seemed to be nearly be empty, because who in their right might would return after such an experience. I wish I could give 0 stars to this place. Please spend your time and money elsewhere.

2020-12-21We ordered food online - butter shrimp, butter chicken, and 2 orders of onion Naan (thankfully we only got 1 order). The chicken was so dry that it was difficult to swallow (we threw it away). The shrimp was overcooked to the point it was spiraling. The sauce was ridiculously thin and it was underseasoned. It tasted like bland tomato soup. The onion Naan had dehydrated onion sprinkled on top, not baked in. It was a horrible meal. I dont know if management or ownership changed but it went from one of my top 5 to below McDonalds in quality.

2021-08-06Yes, those are finger streaks in my bowl! I needed every last bit! The chicken vindaloo was absolutely delicious and a perfect spice level! The garlic naan and samosas were also super yummy! Ordered on door dash and will certainly be doing so again!

2018-05-27Have great vegetarian options! Everything we have had here is delicious, one of the hidden gems in Cuyahoga Falls. We have even gotten catering for a Birthday party from this location, everyone loved the food. The picture below is of veggie options from the Lunch Buffet. The golbi manchurian is one of our favorite appetizers to order when we dine in.

2017-12-24One of those places that look deceptively simple from the outside but serve phenomenal food. All the items in the buffet were super tasty in a way that was more akeen to home cooked food than the oily mess served at most restaurants. This is what they mean when they call it soul-food
