I took my kids and a friend here for my youngest birthday at night. It was fun we never bowled before,so it was a everlasting moment 🤣Afterwards the kids played in the arcade, it got very pricey! Luckily there were some wonderful adults that helped my kids get their little prizes!
Visited on Saturday around 2:30 and it was able to get a lane right away. The food was good and loved that they offer free refills on the soft drinks. Played at the arcade while here and really enjoyed the variety of games they have. I came here with my family, but me & my husband will be back for a fun date night soon.
Fun evening hearing some live music with friends. Unexpectedly great food--highly recommend the brisket sandwich! Very understaffed so food took almost an hour (but we were listening to the music and moving around so we didnt mind too much) and Hannah at the bar was awesome.
What a joke this place is, paid 45 dollars for a hour of bowling for four people and got about 45 minutes of actual bowling time, in the dark with kids interrupting on both sides the whole time. What a nightmare and only could get 1 game in the 45 minutes, avoid this place at all costs!
RollHouse is one of the dirtiest places Ive been to especially during time in covid.. Dirty tables, even dirtier seat.. they werent going to sterilize anything had we not asked.. the no-refund policy is understandable if ALL CONDITIONS are met.. and none were.Dont go here unless you dont care about cleanliness.
Great Experience! The staff was amazing and the place was so clean. I had the Perfect Game flatbread pizza and it was so delicious. My husband had the Tater Kegs and the Strike Out Burger and loved them both!We had our daughters birthday party there and Kim the Event Planner made it so easy and the party was perfect. The kids had so much fun!!I would highly recommend kids parties at RollHouse.
Clean environment. Lack of bar staff and lane service couldve been better. The kitchen was the worst. I never send back food. Not only myself but 3 other ppl, all of which dont know each other, all sent their food back too. They closed the kitchen becuz there was TOO MANY tickets. I mean come on
It wouldve been 5 stars but we called to see if we could reserve a Lane but they said 1st come 1st serve which was ok until we got there the time they told us to be and then said there was a 2hr wait. We ordered food to kill time so I ask if any open lanes and the kid at the counter said we have open lanes, idk why the other guy told you we didnt. Smh. Why would he have us waiting like that if lanes were open.
Nothing but problems with 2 lanes. I was at the counter 5 times to fix the problems. When I complained to Waylyn, the manager, he told me to check my attitude. Of course I had an attitude. I wasnt neither yelling, nor even raising my voice. I was just complaining about all the problems. Plus, who is he to tell me how I should feel? Especially since not once did he apologize. And I called him on the fact that I am allowed to have an attitude and that he never apologized. He just stared at me. Even then he would not say sorry we are having such a hard time with our equipment.. He should not be a manager. He has no people skills. I will be calling the general manager tomorrow and letting her know. It was Waylyn that ruined our night, not the constant problems.Update: I called the general manager, Caitlyn. The call was intercepted by someone claiming to be the district manager. I didnt catch his name. He seemed to be very aware of the situation. After discussing the situation, he offered to give us a free game of bowling. I accepted and furnished him with my email address. Its been almost three weeks and I have not received what I was promised.2nd Update: I sent an email via online website form to their corporate office and have not received a response at all. Completely ignored after two weeks. This is clearly an irresponsible company that couldnt care less about their customers and how they are treated.
Its a nice facility. Good food options and drinks. A group of us went this past Saturday for a friends birthday. Its was $20/pp for two hours. Which I thought was fairly priced. What I didnt appreciate was we knew our two hours was up when we were kicked off our lanes by another group of people who just came over and started moving stuff to another table and just jumped on the lane. We were going to add on more time but were not given the opportunity. When I voiced our concerns at the front desk he seemed to care less and offered us a free round of VR (which was closed at that point) for the inconvenience.
Great place to take your entire family. Theres two bars in there. An escape room(six different escape adventures). A movie plexus, bowling alley an arcade and im not sure thats all they have to offer. Me and my fiance bring our families here often and it is well worth the expense... The location looks a bit sketchy at firat but when you walk in its like you are transported to an adult fun place that kids too can have safe fun! Will be back often!!!
Its not a bad place, we were here at 9pm for my daughters 15th Birthday, but we were told cosmic bowling started at 10pm, it wasnt turned on until 10:45 with no music. The man tried to turn it on, A for effort F for execution! We left at 11:30 still no music! Very disappointed especially for the amount of money spent.
Not very impressed with the staff. The staff doesnt communicate very well. Wasnt following covid protocols, moved us to a different lane for social distancing and than put people right next to us again. Bar staff was ignoring customers. Table wasnt cleaned when we sat down and there were napkins covering spill in the seats.
Staff is friendly, facilities are very very nice. However, if youre just looking to bowl this place is over priced. The escape room, arcade, and virtual reality are nice editions for sure. Also, if you go for cosmic bowling make sure you get there by 930 at the lastest to make sure you get a lane and a ball.
I was there with a bunch of friends. Shane at the desk was nice, bowling very exspensive. They remodeled, it is awful! One side had 10 lanes and was very dark! No tables to sit at just little booths. You had to find chairs to sit down. Chairs uncomfortable! One little table was in the middle and some One took it away. Bad music it was all rap music,it gave me a headache. The group I was with the ages ranged from 23 years old to 60 years there was 6 of us we all agreed not our cup of tea. We wont5 be back. To exspensive.
Clean and fun atmosphere, probably the best bowling alley around. Cosmic bowling was great, and the music wasnt appallingly loud. Food is generally good and there are many new games being implemented in the arcade. Bar access is available for adults, and I have not yet experienced the escape rooms.
The bowling alley was the only thing I tried ot was good except our food came super late and by the time It came our time on our lanes ran out so we didnt get to enjoy out food while we bowled and we got shoved off our lanes by the next group because they were inpatient. Our lanes shut off half way through one of our games.
It is wonderful here. Very family friendly and they are always updating and improving the place.Unlike other bowling alleys in the area that are dingy and dirty, Game of Mentor is always a well lit, clean and up to date. The staff here is amazing. Today my son and I played two games of bowling and then went to the arcade to play for awhile. We did well and had 4500 points to choose a prize with and my son really wanted something that was 5,000 points. I offered to pay the difference, but the guy working at the counter just too care of the extra tickets needed and my son was beyond thrilled.Thats what customer service is all about. Making the customer (sometimes a 5 year old boy) happy. Thanks for being awesome! Well be back as always to enjoy more fun times here.
What a neat place! I wish this was in my local community! I was visiting family in the area and we wanted to bowl, I looks like they recently upgraded this entire place and added a ton of things. Staff seemed nice, we didnt interact with them too much and we didnt try any food or drinks because we were in a game. They really should add wait staff to the lanes to serve food and drinks, we would have ordered a few things had that been an option.
The place was ok but I had a bad experience ordering food while bowling. Placed a few different orders and paid with a card, leaving cash tips in the jar instead of on the card. Got home and noticed they charged tips on my card also that I hadnt authorized. Definitely keep an eye out for that.
Place has been re-done and it looks great, very nice big arcade for a bowling alley, great looking new bar, and good variety of drafts on hand now. will be coming to again and again when I feel like a bowling night or to mess about in arcade with out having to trek super far to a Dave and busters.
Lots of fun. Really makes you think. We came very close to escaping which for our first time, we were impressed. We needed about 5 more minutes. We had Budapest room. At the end, when Danny explained it to us, it was so easy. Not to give it away..but the Butler did it! Ha ha.
My gm and I took employees here at 9pm for one of our workers last day. We were excited to buy beverages and food, and celebrate friendships and new beginnings. UNFORTUNATELY, the bar and kitchen were closed. They had sent their staff home because of slow business. The manager rudely refused to open the bar up for us. Being in the service industry, this is insane. You lost at least 4-500 in business tonight, and I highly doubt I will ever comeback, or recommend this establishment.
Very nice place, everything is newer and you dont have to worry about finding the right ball or them not having enough balls. This place is huge, Im from ashtabula and our bowling alleys are nice but not like this place. There is a bowling alley, escape room, arcade, a private bowling alley and more.
Parking lot is really garbage. Needed resurfacing a few years ago. Interior is nice, the renovated low end is particularly nice. High end is ok, still too much of the old Palisades and the rest room is horrible. Ive gottena mixed bag of conditions there on the lanes but that is true anywhere.
Merry old time there. We went and they let us bowl even though they were closing up early which was super nice of them. Four stars because they probably did it for business (it was a group of eight). Big boss man probably didnt do it out of niceness but the staff was very friendly
Me and my mother went to this bowling ally to have a nice get away from the house. And this lady that was the most horrible customer experience I have EVER experienced in my 13 years of living. This brat of a woman said we have a group going your gonna have to wait 15 minutes to play. And they only let pro league players and thats nice. and party groups. They never came to get us from the waiting area. So we left that horrible place and got Starbucks instead.✌🏻️So hope they miss our 30$

2022-03-08My husband and me went on a date. We chose RollHouse Mentor and it was my first time visiting a bowling alley in my life. My husband used to play during his teen years and be part of a bowling team. I enjoyed watching him have fun. I got beat, expected...lol but we had a great time. I had a wrap for lunch and it was delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much, we reserved a lane for a birthday party for one of our grandsons.

2021-10-13RollHouse is my wife and I favorite date night spot. The arcade is the perfect size. If you have children and want to bring them you can keep a eye on them all the time in the arcade. The Nerf gun game is my most favorite to play. I love smashing peoples records. I have not done the escape room yet but I do plan to. Bowling is of course fun and they youngsters love that. Thursday nights is karaoke and everyone in there is so friendly and encouraging. The outside patio is beautiful. They have this giant soft pretzel that is delicious and around Father’s Day they have a pizza that taste just like a Italian sub. It is so good we went back and ordered one to put in our freezer for a later date. RollHouse is a 10 in my book.

2022-03-15Okay so I have mixed feelings about this particular bowling 🎳 alley. We went for a nice little family outing recently. To say the least this place was Jumping jumping which was a great thing for the establishment. But from my understanding this was a normal Saturday night for them. Which is where my mixed feelings come in. The service was so awful and it seemed as if they werent prepared for this kind of crowd. Ordering a drink literally was awful and I say this to say when youre spending your money you want to be greeted with atleast a smile and a simple how may I help you welp that wasnt the case. We had an older red head woman whom took our order with a snarling look on her face the entire time as if we were bothering her. She took my order so abruptly as if she couldnt wait to hurry up, that she assumed my sister which was standing next to me patiently waiting to order was just standing there just to stand. Cashed me out and went about her way to take someone elses order and we literally had to call her back down to get her to place my sisters order 😒. We waited over an hour for some chicken tenders and checked on the status of our order atleast 2x and was told itll be out soon. Then to only be told they dont have any chicken tenders🤦♀️. Now the guys and ladies thats bringing the food out were actually the ones with the most pleasant demeanors and they were probably the ones being fussed at the most behind the kitchen faults. Overall good family fun, but the service makes me think twice about patronizing the establishment.

2022-03-15Me and my family really enjoyed our time here. Greeting at the front desk was a little slow, however the ease of bowling lane service made up for that. Not to mention bae accidentally left his cellphone and the staff held it for him. Surprisingly pretty crowded but the tables were spaced perfectly that we werent sitting on top of other people. May be our go-to bowling alley.

2022-02-03Disappointed. We chose to go bowling from 3 to 5 because we did not want the strobe lights due to my mother in law and they had them going loud music in the dark with strobe lights before 3pm when cosmic is not going on. Not appreciated at all and will take my business elsewhere.

2022-04-24Had our sons 10th Birthday party here. Would highly recommend!!!! Everything ran very smoothly with 15 kids and 10 adults, enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves and not be on top of each other. Food was also excellent!! Very impressive with RollHouse in Mentor!

2022-04-30The two stars is because our first experience was good, if it hadn’t been it would be one star. Today however was not. How is it that the Mentor location only has ONE ramp (for kids) available to the public, on an open bowl SATURDAY, because they’re all “reserved for the birthday parties” - if you all don’t have enough money to purchase enough equipment so ALL of your guests can enjoy it, maybe you should have used our nicely asked suggestion to see if the birthday party wasn’t using one - which Alec was willing to do but the manager refused, and then you could’ve used the $100+ we would have spent to purchase more, but instead we had it refunded and left. Do better
