It was the evening that turned out to be the legendary Coach Ks final game. That is, should he decide not to come out of retirement sometime down the line. But it can not be said enough what an insane sequence this became for the Duke Mens Basketball head coach of the past 42 years. After forcing his Farewell Tour down the throats of college basketball fans the entire season, his career ended in the most hilarious and disappointing of ways. A solid regular season, yet moderately underachieving, Duke loses Coach Ks final home game at Cameron Indoor, to their bitter rival North Carolina, nonetheless. Then they turn around and lose to them again in the Final Four? A North Carolina team that struggled even to make the tournament?? MADNESS!This funeral was indulged at Revelry Tavern, in my first visit of the fine establishment. A few friends lived in the area, so I figured we would give it a go as the setting for a Final Four viewing party. It did not disappoint.A Bar & Grill type of location, Revelry Tavern boasted an impressive slate of food and drink. A serviceable draft list for Craft Beer connoiiiisseurs, and a myriad of bottles and cans to boot. Food for everyone: A delectable Diner Style cheeseburger for myself, a Power Bowl for my vegetarian better half, tacos, pizza, more, and more! The service was impeccable. The rotating staff of bartenders, waitresses, managers, continued to check on us as we guzzled beers and basketball for over 5 hours. The table was never left dry or unsatisfied. I did, however leave with one regret...I greatly apologize for my less than appropriate tip. Understandably, our time spent at Revelry Tavern racked up a sizable bill. I have never been a man to concern myself with percentages or whats right when it comes to rewarding our staff. I traditionally determine an amount suitable for the work done. In this case, the lines were unparallel. An incredible display by the staff went unacknowledged financially. After concocting the tip amount, signing, and returnnnning the check my mental math began, and my heart dropped. Not enough! It will be my duty to find my way back to this bar again to repay my mistake. To return to the family that delivered me camaraderie that night. The sense of connection to the random UNC fan high-fiving the whole building throughout what may have been the happiest moment of his life. To who I believe to have been Joey Galloway on the other side of the restaurant. To the future connections I will make.Until then, this review will have to do. 5 stars.
Everything inside has been redone. All the TVs are amazing the food is great especially the chicken wings. They get -1 * for not having Bourbon Barrel on tap. But they did have the bottles! Very friendly service very attentive. Bathrooms were spotless and smelled good!
Walked in to a warm welcome and quick service. Tried a new beer and some bar treats. The beer was cold, the good hot. Pretzels and chicken wings were a win! The place has a very trendy vibe but with a friendly neighborhood feel - plus loads of TVs and sports on, so thats a bonus!
Good food with good beers on tap. We love grabbing a bite before or after a movie across the way at Dublin AMC. Their short rib grilled cheese, tacos and Mac&cheese are so indulgent and worth it. The loaded tavern fries are a hit with table to share. And the power bowl is a tasty, healthy & filling alternative. Their menu is small but you cant go wrong with any choice.
Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is so low key and chill! We love going in on mondays for the wings! The food is always on point! The waiters and waitresses are always attentive. This is a nice spot to come and unwind during the week. Definitely my go to spot for good food and drinks!
Not 100% sure what to think. Its definitely clean, and the TVs and tables are nice. Booths are great. Staff was generally attentive. Beers were not expensive. Pool tables were new and great. But Im not sure when I will come back.I wouldnt necessarily go back when I wanted a restaurant, as the food is very very limited. At the same time I dont think Id come back when I wanted a bar as the music is low, no live bands, no sounds from any TV, and it was really quiet overall (even with a good amount of people in the place), and in my opinion the food is not bar food (no pizza, etc).It may be good for some occasions, but I think they either need more food so I can go for dinner, or liven up the atmosphere and be a bar.
This bar has absolutely DELICIOUS food & drinks, and even better service! It is like a gastropub/sports bar, it is very clean and new, and it has tons of space for big groups. I️ particularly love the fries (they come with garlic aioli!), and also the Paloma to drink. Above all, the staff is so friendly and attentive and has even remembered our names on our second visit. Highly recommend!
Good quality, average portions. Enjoyed the southern fried chicken sandwich and pretzel bites. Tacos are small but my fellow diner really liked the short rib taco the best. Very good beer and bourbon selection. Inside lots of TVs, good atmosphere to watch a game. Service was great.
Just popped in to have a drink before going to the nearby movies. Unfriendly, unwelcoming staff and patrons at the bar, who couldnt stop staring/glaring at my husband and me.While service was prompt (as there were not many customers at the time), there was no real greeting other than handing over menus. When we got up to leave no one thanked us. The vibe was get out. And yes, there were plenty of workers...and yes, despite this treatment, we left a 20 percent tip because times are tough and maybe it was just an off night.
Really enjoyed this place. We had a group of 7 during an NFL playoffs game and even though it was busy the wait times werent terrible. The food is quite good, especially the shrimp tacos. They also have an excellent bourbon and craft cocktail selection. Definitely give them a try!
Always great food and service. They run a small staff here but keep on top of things pretty well. Drink list is great too and the cocktails are creative and eclectic. I visit this area for work frequently and always make sure Revelry is one of my stops each trip. Will definitely be back.
Great atmosphere and a place you can go and enjoy with other folks who know how to live life on lifes terms (if ya know what I mean) and not have to worry so much about being robbed or stabbed in the parking lot by the patrons. Food is great! Staff is inviting, congenial and the women in attendance arent your typical Kool-aid colored hair tattooed SWAMPDONKEYS you might find at any other place you may go for nightlife entertainment with friends.
I totally love this place. Haven’t been in town long but I’m so happy I found Revelry. It’s my Cheers bar now. The staff is very friendly and they greet me by name; with a beer. The food is great too! Their pool table is nice and they have darts too. Great patio to chill on or grab a drink (at a better price) before heading out to a movie next door. Mack, Jack and Anna are the coolest. I’m totally going to keep coming back.
While the menu is limited, the food they have is fantastic. Drinks are delicious with good beer selection. Great combination of a good bar and good food. Wait staff is great and attentive. I have had three menu items (brisket, cheeseburger, and fried chicken) and they were all great. Highly recommended.
Been here before and never had an issue but tonight was a bit different. Aside from the initial order of my drinks the staff was less than attentive. I spent nearly 4 hours at this establishment and at no point was I asked if I wanted anything more or were my empty glasses or bottles removed. I watched multiple times as the staff moved around me both on the patio and back at the dart board, all without a glance to our existence. The thing is, I dont mind getting my own drinks when a place is busy or understaffed but to watch as the staff helped everyone but my group was definitely disappointing and irritating to say the least. Who knows, maybe I was in the no serve zone and didnt know it. Whatever the case I was very disappointed in an establishment that I typically enjoy.
My wife and I recently had a brunch baby shower party here and Rich and his team were awesome. The food was excellent, the service was even better, and Rich was extremely flexible with the menu. So many of guest loved his homemade chicken & waffles and egg frittata. The day-to-day menu is just as fresh as the brunch menu he put together for us. Above all that, he treated us like family. If you have a party you want to plan, you should definitely consider booking this venue or just stop in for a meal. It wont disappoint!
Stopped by before a movie. Rachel? was bartender and couldnt have been nicer. $2 draft bottles on Tuesday plus they have carryout license which means where I come from, you must put 4 beers in wifes purse to take in movie. Which we did BTW. Went back after and great atmosphere and service again. I have heard food is really good but we didnt eat. Well done!
Great that a new place has taken up residence here. Great spot and seems to have good word of mouth as the place was super busy. The down side, they were way understaffed. With so many tables and representing themselves as a restaurant type establishment, not having wait staff is a huge problem! Could be a good place to hang, I will go back, I just hope they properly staff. Plus the staff in place was nice and seemed to be as attentive as they were able. Very nice ladies@
Staying in hotel right up the street we decided to stop in after traveling all day. Weather wasnt great so not many people there. Was able to get an order in under the wire, kitchen was closing at 10pm. Food was pretty good. Beer selection was good. Bartender was friendly. Music playing over the system was a way overboard. If I was someone with kids younger than HS I would have left. Not sweating one or even two songs but it was almost back to back to back Worst case program it so it mixes it up some. Even the younger guys at the bar and the bartender was laughing about it.
Revelry Tavern is one of our favorite local spots in town, either for a night out or for a family lunch or dinner. Its rare to find a bar/restaurant that serves great drinks AND delicious food, but Revelry has nailed it. I appreciate that the menu is small, but has options that suit every one; you cant go wrong with whatever you choose. The burger is a smash burger, perfectly cooked; the southern fried chicken sandwich is so good - crispy outside, juicy inside. We recommend it to local friends and those from out of town - outstanding service, and great food & drink!
Great atmosphere. Went out with coworkers and we all had a taste of their menu and beer/cocktail menu. Small menus so far but all very fresh! Would recommend for sure. Kind of in the back of the plaza. I can see people getting lost easily. Other than that, its overall decent :)
I went to this place right after it first opened. Was not impressed, poor service and expensive drinks. Have since been back a couple of times times, and the service has been excellent and the cocktails (all fresh ingredients) have been awesome. When the service is outstanding and the drinks are good, it makes paying a small premium a little more palatable... Well done!
Stopped in here before a movie at AMC, the place is much nicer than I expected! The atmosphere is nice, kind of classy and relaxing. The service was great, the bartender was very friendly, food was good, and prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this anyone as a quick meal or drinks before a movie!
I called ahead to be sure they could accommodate our party. The manager returned my call right away and gave me details on their protocols in accordance with city covid restrictions. Plenty of space for distancing and the staff was attentive. Great place and will be back!
I recently held a 40th birthday party at Revelry Tavern for my wife. We had about 50 people in attendance who couldnt say enough wonderful things about the night. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere were excellent!!! The bar is very accommodating for parties and able to customize their services to meet your party needs. I highly recommend Revelry Tavern for your next event. You will not be disappointed.
The music seemed like I was in a rave or perhaps a runway show... But the food was super good. Wings were nice. Monday is half off, got the habanero honey and bourbon bbq. The brisket grilled cheese thing is amazing. So yummy. Large beer selection. Would definitely return! Likely after my chiropractor visits...Also, if you go for lunch break service was very speedy.
Incredibly rude waitress: Our waitress made a mistake on our bill at the end of dinner charging us for three drinks instead of two. When I pointed it out to her she began vehemently arguing with me in front of other customers that I was wrong and that she made the drinks herself. She eventually huffed off and said she would remove it from the bill even though I was wrong. We would have returned had it not been for her behavior. The food was pretty good (4/5) for bar food. The menu is fairly limited, but what we had was good (short rib sandwich, banh mi, and Brussels sprouts). Our drinks got mixed reviews. The space is typical bar/tavern space. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences Ive had with wait staff and there are too many other good options in the area to give it a second try.
Decent enough, out of the last 3 places that took up this building Reverly Tavern appears to be the best...hopefully they can figure out the secret the other 2 could not...limited food menu extensive drink menus, and not your typical bar food choices. The food we ordered was very flavorful with a unique twist on a grilled cheese and shrimp poboy, the staff was friendly. Well go back one night to see what the bar atmosphere is like.
The food was good. This was my second time going. However, I went in at 7:30 and Fox News was on two different televisions. I had to ask the bartender twice to turn the channel at the bar because I did not want to watch the news while I ate. After the second time asking, he went to the back to get the remote when another gentleman came out. They whispered and looked at me for a few moments then the other gentleman, who I later discovered was an owner, asked me how everything was. I explained the food was good. I won’t be returning to The Revelry Tavern because the owner himself made me feel uncomfortable for making a simple request to turn off the news and turn on sports. It’s too bad because the food really was great and the location is convenient, the ownership just left me a little sour.
Got kicked out because my friend accidentally broke a glass, offered to pay for the broken glass. Also supposedly we were rowdy, we were occasionally yelling but otherwise making casual conversation at a reasonable volume given there’s music playing. It was average volume and average behavior, nothing extreme at all. They aren’t very welcoming or accepting and are quick to kick people out who are accepting their mistakes and willing to try and fix it. There was no conversation, nobody asked us to lower our volume or anything, just automatically kicking us out over a dropped glass. If restaurants and bars kicked people out over breaking glasses nobody would ever have any business because accidents are simply accidents.
I had a one-star problem recently at this place, but Rich—their quite kind owner—went above and beyond to make things right and earn my five-star edit piece. He was extremely nice and truly cared about his business. I cant thank him enough! My girlfriend and I were very happy with our service and were impressed that Rich even came up to us to make sure everything was going well. The food was spot-on and the server was attentive. Things went wonderfully.Never before have I left a place so disappointed only to come back a few days later to be pleasantly surprised overall. This is a great place and I will return! Thanks again, Rich.
The place is Ok ... the owner has attitude be careful, I ask her for something special like pretzel because her kitchen was closed. She took a strip off me and tried to impress me with data why that request was unreasonable. Lost me as a result $2 bag sweetheart. Cheers
I have been to Revelry on numerous occasions. None of which have ever been a disappointment! The staff have been incredibly welcoming, the beverages have been delicious, & the food has been beyond expectations! I cannot wait for my next venture to Revelry, as it has been a delight on every trip.
Amazing food, great space, sizeable beer and bourbon selection, and interesting cocktails. Definitely my favorite suburban bar, and killer for before or after a movie to avoid the over priced, underwhelming food and drinks on offer at the theater. Havent had a disappointment from the menu yet. The burger, chicken sandwich, tacos, and power bowl are all personal favorites.
Friday & Saturday they have, according to the ads they have on the bar & tables, $4 craft beers. I got 2 craft beers last night, and the server refused to honor the special. Irrespective of the fact that both of my beers were craft, which he admitted. He made no effort to change the prices, and got the day’s wrong of the specials. Both of my beers were expensive because I wanted to take advantage of the deal. I had to show him what the special was because he had no idea. I left him no tip, and I’ll never go back to Revelry.
Poor service; watched people sit down at tables throughout the bar and werent talked to for 30 minutes. Bartenders arguing in front of customers and not being able to coordinate cashing out tabs. Was sitting at the bar and a bar tender started staking all the dirty glasses and dishes next to my food, as she emptied out the drinks and then walked away.Menu; taps arent marked and the food menu is severely limited. The beer menu has local variety but every drink is overpriced (Ex: $6 a glass regardless if its local brew or typical miller). Plan on waiting about 25-35 minutes for you food to get out after you order, regardless if its an appetizer or entree.
Great tavern to visit before seeing a movie. The Mediterranean played appetizer is very good with three offerings of hummus, feta cheese dip, and olive tapenade with veggies and pita for dipping. The feta dip and tapenade were very flavorful which left the hummus to be without much taste. We also had the chicken quesadilla which was really good. They have a giant TV for sporting events and a well stocked bar.
Few days ago I went there to grab wings while my son was taking drum class next door ( apparently parents are not allowed 🙄). Wings were perfect !!!.But I left my credit card in the check folder. ( I was stressed that day ).But the staff kept my credit card safeThank you !!
Sports bar? I asked if they would play the audio of the world series they were like no. Like why would we do that. The song Im listening is those chicks from the 80s . Leave me breathless my ears are bleeing. I had to ask to have the caption put on the TV. Their customer service is cold and ugly. No eye contact no smile. Just nasty unhappy kumts. Not coming back . Oh wait. More 90s music lovely.
This was our very first time there as we arent from this area, food was amazing and the drinks were great, Jack took care of us and he us wonderful, absolutely loved the tacos and wings, we will definitely return when we are in the area, thanks Jack for a wonderful experience!!!

2022-05-09The Hot Nashville Buffalo Dip is absolutely amazing! Had a very VERY good burger there as well. The whole table enjoyed their meals, and are still talking about that Appetizer we got!

2022-01-25Ok so I didn’t know what to think. I go to the movies right by here all the time. I AM LITERALLY BLOWN away with the service. The staff. The flavor profile is all over my mouth and belly. They were nice enough to change it to the Bengals game right away. Game or not I would eat here any day of the week I had the power bowl with Short Rib and it was healthy , delicious and fun to get through. They took couscous and crispy chick peas to a whole nother level.Ok I have never done this. I went to a restaurant 2 nights in a row. The 2nd time to watch Brady last game maybe and to try the Buffalo chicken pizza. It was amazing. Then I got another power bowl, this time with chicken. That was incredible too. 🥗🍕😋😋😋😋

2022-05-02The Nashville Hot appetizer was amazing! The pita chips were a meal in themselves and delicious. The place is very open and clean. We were greeted when we walked in and our waitress was very attentive. Service was fast and our meals were great as well. We will be going back to try some other items.

2022-04-29Vibe is immaculate! Food is super tasty, spot on every time!! The power bowl is outstanding!!! The only complaint I can find is how small the drinks are for the price. The ‘up in smoke’ is PERFECTION but 14 bucks for a tiny glass filled with ice. 🫣 I swear I could drink it in 5 sips! I normally have two drinks for dinner if I enjoy the ambiance (which I do) but not for 28 bucks 😩 Goodlord! I could buy an entire bottle for that! Service is attentive every time! 🧐 Maybe there’s a happy hour I should attend instead 🤣Top Notch! 👏🏼

2021-12-29Good local watering hole. Comfy seating with mostly high tops. I was there for Xmas party so got to sample a lot of the apps and they were all delicious. Good strong cocktails and local beer on tap. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Ample parking. Not a place for an intimate date but if you are meeting a group this is a great place to do it.

2022-06-27I went here with my fiance after going to the movies and it was such a chill date spot. It had the three Bs: beer, burgers, and baseball - so he was incredibly happy. Great beer variety! We both had the burger and fries. The fries tasted freshly cut and the burger was surprising! Not another tavern burger. Nooooo - This was so good you couldnt put it down! - Sorry no photo this time :)The wait staff was pleasant and attentive and for a Friday night, there wasnt a wait. We look forward to going back!

2021-07-04We are visiting and its our first time here and we were so impressed by its fresh clean atmosphere, beautiful friendly waitresses, and of course good delicious food. ;pBlood orange pale ale: normally I would skip ale if I wanted draft beer but I decided to give it a try as its on their special menu and it was special!!! My husband and I loved it so much!Revelry burger: juicy and full of flavors. Warm crispy buns, and the fries that come with it are amazingly good as well that melts in your mouth immediately.Wings: the best wings Ive ever had. They were fried just to the right point with crispy outside and juicy inside. loved the Bourbon bbq sauce. The blue cheese dipping sauce was sooooooo good. Not a fan of the Korean bbq sauce though.Quesadilla: salsa was okay. but hey Im from Houston where there are a lot of Tex Mex restaurant that claimed that they serve good quesadilla but this is the best Ive ever had and Im in Ohio. How funny is that Lol.What I can say from just this one time visit to this restaurant is: Their owners know their food, their chefs are working hard, and their customers will always be happy and coming back.

2022-06-02Stopped in after the movie. Pleasant, comfortable & clean atmosphere. Plenty of tv’s. One huge screen. Staff friendly. Service acceptable but nothing to “rave” about. The Thai lettuce wraps were very flavorful & enjoyable. Pepperoni pizza also tasty. Plenty of beer & wine choices. Reservations can be made if needed.

2022-02-11This place is really good. I had the revelry burger and the shrimp and carnitas tacos. Burger is definitely in my top 5 of burgers I have had. The place is clean and the waitstaff is very attentive and nice. Will come back.
