What happened to this place?? Its so filthy now. Doors were opaque with scum & prints even during the pandemic, trashes overflowing, deli looked like a roach haven. Used to come in daily when I worked for Turner. The place was always so busy, line in the deli literally to the front door at lunch time, for good reason. Now its a ghost town and I can see why. Cut the deli menu and portions in half and doubled the prices. My buddy got a half cooked pizza from the lady who made it clear shes glad its not busy back there anymore. Stopped cleaning the store & cut their shelf selections to nothing. Still gave it a shot. Burgers they put on that hot plate smelled rotten when I opened it. Turned my stomach. Management of this place has went so far downhill its ridiculous. This place used to be a treasure find. Now its just another filthy gas station that youll drive 10 extra miles to avoid. Sheets is only 5 minutes away from this nasty place. Go there instead. Its disgusting now. This change is way too drastic to just be a store management problem...this is a store ownership problem. An Ive got so many stores and so much money that I dont care about one measly gas station that used to be an 8/10 and is now a 1/10 problem

Tl;dr Sheetz is like 4 miles away and a night-and-day better experience compared to here.I forgot to get gas one day so I came through this station on my way to work. Price on the sign was almost 30¢ different (lower) than what was charged at the pump (higher). Store was run down and pretty dirty; I wouldn’t buy any food made here. If they don’t care about what you can see, they DEFINITELY don’t care about what you can’t see. Staff was friendly enough though I suppose. Everything is overpriced, and selection isn’t great. I definitely will avoid this place if at all possible in the future though.

I’ve lived in Jersey my entire life and since this place has changed staff recently it’s the best it has ever been! Prices are much more reasonable than they used to be, staff is much friendlier and speak English, and the overall atmosphere is more positive. If you’re in a pinch and want food this is a great place to stop! I usually get the chicken bacon sub and I’m always satisfied.These guys also get bonus points for all the flavors of Grippos they have, get the Maui Onion!

Horrible Service Management should do back ground checks. Full of employees with theft and drug charges. Owners must not care. Manager older no oxygen is the most rude person Ive ever encountered in charge. Food still taxed. Prices change at register. If owner or owners dont get involved place may last 6 months. Deli manager cut back on so much should be a dollar menu. Half a piece of cheese still on burgers. Craziest businesses Ive encountered. BTW PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES. DONT RIP THEM OFF ALSO. TAKING MY BUISNESS TO NEW ALBANY. 8 miles further but you get charged properly and respected and acknowledged!

Aside from the filth that lays over every inch of this place, which can be expected due to the high construction worker traffic and lax worker mentality, there is never any receipt paper in the pumps. Absolutely never. Odds are that if you need a receipt at the pump, you will need to go inside and wait in line for five minutes to retrieve it. Lazy is a kind way to put it that’s for sure.

The only reason Im giving it two stars instead of one is because of the very few employees there who keep that place going...The blonde kid who works at night, very nice & been there for ages. The Russian lady, very funny.The tall, skinny girl with dark hair & glasses, busting her butt everytime I shop there & always greets me with a smile. Helped me carry 4 cases of beer out to my car in the rain-now if that aint good service, I dont know what is. The lady with the oxygen & a new young girl with pretty blue eyes, all have been good & friendly to me. Ive tried to report the employees who are rude to manager, but conveniently, she is never available to speak to, even when I see she is present. Never heard of a place refusing to sell an item on its shelves. But Mary (name tag) rudely told me its policy. If its policy to be snippy to your customers then this new company needs new policies. My neighbor wont go there anymore since they were out of coffee creamer for 2 straight weeks and out of Copenhagen for that same period of time. I remember when I would walk into this place & feel at home & welcome. Now its a disappointment every time in some way or another. Bright side is, I no longer play lotto everyday so my wife is happy. So thank you Shell for keeping the lottery empty & unavailable. The new girl up front with the bun on her head, brown hair, short, scars on face (not tryin to insult just dont know her name) is the most unprofessional little thing. Came to wait on me with a mouthful of cheetos. Complaining she was tired. I told her to quit scowling or her face would get stuck that way. Hell, if youre that down in the dumps sugar, you shouldnt work with the public. They used to have the BEST chicken salad sandwiches in the area, but since it changed hands, they done away with it. Blows my mind that they never bothered to even ask for customers opinions before doing away with favorites, in the gas station AND sub shop. That tells me they dont care at all about customers. One day I go in and get my lunch, per my usual routine (Reuben or BLT, chicken salad when line was too long) and the next day, they got more than half the menu blacked out and prices jumped $2-$4 PER ITEM! On top of raising prices overnight, they cut the amounts back by a ridiculous amount. Raise prices or cut back, but do BOTH without bothering to get regulars feedback? Just careless & greedy! They think theyre makin more $ but the fact theyre slow most the time now since they changed means theyre makin the same OR LESS. Line used to go to the FRONT DOOR! Anyone can tell ya that. When I complain about stuff, that old lady who runs the deli now & her hateful sidekick try to tell me thats how we did it at subway. Well...this aint subway ladies. Its a small town joint that used to be LOVED BY ALL. And when I complain that my blt i still cold, its courtesy to apologize & offer to remake it or heat it longer. Not roll your eyes & mumble under your breath as you walk away...when I speak up about you sloppin my sub together so its a damn mess, it aint polite to tell me if ya dont like it I can throw it away. Like I said: hateful sidekick. Is this new co. so hard up that they cant afford to keep simple items? When I say they got rid of everything, I mean EVERY THING. No swiss cheese, no cucumber (a whoppin .50 at your nearest grocer), no double cheeseburger, no sauces, I could write a review on that sub place alone. Half the time, they have no breakfast in the mornin. Old lady turned me away at 7:45 am for a croissant when I just saw her take a whole damn tray of them out of the oven. I go to Busters now. They put us FIRST instead of LAST. I just feel bad for the few workers who are good to us & have to deal with angry guys like me. I dont normally mess with reviews much but I heard about these crazy reviews from a buddy & felt the need to stand up for the good ones & give my two cents. This placed changed owners a year ago and in the first few months it was changes made for the good of the store. I stopped back in and cant believe how down hill it has gone. The man manager there is rude to his employees cant keep people working there for long when you have a manager down talking his employees in front of customers this little man has said many negitive things about his employees myself an family an a few neighbers have blacklisted this store its ran ramped an choas the floors are always dirty an yellow. I dont know how that place still has employees but ill pray for them. Hopefully the corporation that bought the place sees what we customers see and they get it under control becuase if not it will go under. They need to bring the older lady back that started changing the place for the better because at least it was clean an she was poliet. Maybe the idian guys bought it back i dont know but ill stay away from there. Sorry shell this is the worst store ive been in and i travel for work all over so that should tell you how bad its gotten. Prayers for the few that try keep ur heads up maybe god will bless you.

Says its open 24 hours and some days they are not open until after 6. Rude service. Uncared about dirty store. Looks like they dont pay employees either. And those bacjgroubd checks no wonder they taz my food and change prices at register. Deli has gotten horrible and Ive been sick from eating there. My advice drive five miles futher revieve honest service respect clean store. If they cant take care if the ones who take care if custimets if wont support them! Keep Driving... VERY DISHONEST PLACE. Very rude staff dirty make subs in deli wrong all the time whay overpriced for quality bunch of old ladiesthat will cheat you out of money on prices on subs if you dont watch them food always half cooked and no customer service manaher is a a hole to vustomers
