Residence Inn by Marriott Columbus Easton in Columbus
FRAUD! We paid for our room through Expedia, the front desk staff swiped our card for incidentals and then they put two charges on our card totaling $500! And when we called, they denied putting these charges on our card and even fabricated documents and emailed us these documents to try to show they didnt charge us! Our bank, USAA, is now pursuing this hotel legally. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!!! TOTAL MANAGEMENT DISASTER!!!These are very old hotel rooms that have been partially updated. The walls, ceilings, doors, toilets, bath tubs, kitchen cabinets are all very old. The carpets, tile in bathrooms, countertops, mirrors have all been updated. It made the room feel old and dirty. We stayed 3 nights, housekeeping came in once and did a partial tidy up, made one of the 2 beds, took the trash away. But housekeeping never gave us more towels, shampoo or soaps, we just got the ones that were in the room when we checked in. On the day we left, check out is at 12pm. At 920am housekeeping came knocking on our door, while our baby was napping, then they came back and knocked again at 1015a!!! Not cool! I’m not sure why they thought we would be gone already. Housekeeping should not be trying to chase guests out of their rooms before the actual checkout time! Ridiculous! Again, management problems.
Overpriced hotel website showed fireplaces in their rooms but they didn’t work when asked they said they haven’t worked since the remodel two years ago! Also had zero bath towels only hand towels called for towels took them an hour to bring them. Rooms are in separate building from main lobby so if it’s winter time it’s cold to walk for your free breakfast
This place really needs a renovation. Staff was friendly enough, it has to be hard dealing with all the extra COVID stuff (scheduling pool times, etc.), and our room was as clean as it could be. However, the walls are marked up, furniture and carpet are stained, mattresses need to be retired, door handles (on the interior bedrooms) are falling off, rocking toilets, toilet paper holder falling off the wall, banged up refrigerator, the list is pretty long. The pool wasn’t nasty but it was somewhat cloudy and definitely wasn’t cleaned the whole time we were there (2 nights). We are Marriott people and were quite surprised by this property.
Horrible experience here. Two rooms , 1 beside our room & the other across from us had “guests” coming & going all night. I’m serious! They had people downstairs opening the door to let others into the building. They didn’t quiet down till about 7am. How can Marriott not be aware of this. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.
We only stayed one night, but it worked out great for the purpose of our trip. The booking of the room and check-in was pretty seemeless. The costumer service is good (our need for an extra set of sheets recieved a prompt response). The hotel is in the perfect area for shopping (walking distance to Trader Joes and a whole shopping area!). The breakfast was your avarge hotel breakfast, but the kitchen staff was super friendly. So it definitely improved our experience. The hotel is pretty clean (no funky smells!). Although I do wish they went a bit beyond what is generally expected (like cleaning the remotes and light switches). Personally, I feel like if Im paying over $130 for a night, a higher standard of cleanliness should be expected (I really dont want to worry about bringing dissenfecting wipes). But you can call me picky, I guess. All in all, we had a great time during our stay. It was perfect for what we had planned for the weekend! We would stay there again:)
Good place has full size fridge microwave stove and dish washer and the kitchen has pans plates cups and silverware you are set if you want to save money cooking a quick breakfast. The best part is if you are missing something you can always run next door to Trader Joes to get what you need. Nice seasonal pool, nice bed and a handy sofa bed ... can watch your Netflix or YouTube on the TV or cable if you want. My 7 year old loved it called fancy and fun.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. The room was very nice. We enjoyed having a full kitchen with full size refrigerator. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub, the fire pit, outdoor seating. We love that the hotel accepts pets, we were able to bring our dog with us. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast on Friday and Saturday morning. My only complaint is the breakfast on Saturday was so crowded we had to sit in a room off of the lobby and even that extra room was filled to capacity. We had to squeeze in and look for an extra to chair to bring over to our table. I think you should have a bigger room available to the guests for weekend breakfasts.
The hotel is dingy and outdated. The room is very lived in and all lamps and tables were covered in dust. I found a lot of hairs in the bed, sink and tub. The walls were filthy (yellow and brown spots) and overall I felt uncomfortable touching anything in the room. In the morning there was no hot water so I was forcedto take a cold shower and my family could not shower at all. I informed the front desk who said they would “look into it” but the issue was never resolved. I travel to this area often for business and will not be staying at this hotel again. Unfortunate because the location is nice.
Very nice suite. Clean rooms, nice kitchen, comfortable bed. Multiple desk areas in room and/or lobby available for use as a work station. Hotel staff members were courteous. Continental Breakfast exceeded expectations. The kind woman who served breakfast walked around with samples of banana smoothies she made. Very nice place. Will stay again and will also recommend to others. Great place for an extended stay while in Easton area for work!
We visited the area, then had a car problem. We were forced to stay overnight and stayed here. The desk help was very nice and supplied us with toothbrushes, toothpaste, and extra sheets. Even gave me some much needed tylenol. We also were given a small bag of breakfast items to go and coffee.I would stay here again!
Spacious rooms. Decent breakfast friendly breakfast staff. Check in shady. My guest got there first and was on the reservation and they didn’t let her checkin to the room. I’m a Marriott rewards member have stayed there before and done the same scenario and called ahead of time to inform and make sure it was all taken care of. Even spoke to the supposed manager who basically didn’t speak and offered no solution.
The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The evening mix was excellent. Its only available a few days during the week but we happened to be there and it was excellent. The beds were comfy and having a FULL kitchen with 2 kids is very convenient! Weve stayed here several times before when we are in the area and it is always our first choice. We cant wait until our next rip to the Easton area. Also after a few trips, weve really appreciated the central location. Its only a short 10-20 minute drive to the fair grounds, the Columbus Zoo, Polaris, OH State U and more. PERFECT location for us!
We spent 4 nights in town for a family getaway to the Columbus Zoo, water park and other family friendly places in Columbus. The (2) bedroom suite was perfect for our family of (4). We originally tried to make the one bedroom suite work but had to change rooms because we did not have enough room for all of us. However, the staff was super accommodating about our request to upgrade and made the room change very easy for us. The staff was extremely friendly and greeted you everywhere you went. The rooms were clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The location is perfect and within walking distance to great shops and restaurants. We had an excellent time and glad we chose to stay here! He hope to come back soon.
I highly recommend this hotel for any type of need. I planned an overnight stay to take my daughter to the American Girl store for her 5th birthday. This hotel is a location that partners with the store. The hotel is beautiful, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff is probably the best part. They are very kind, caring, patient, knowledgable, and will take the extra steps to make your stay extra special. They went out of their way to ensure that my daughter and each of her friends were treated like little princesses. Our weekend was amazing. Thank you to your staff for making sure that it was perfect!
We had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn. The room was comfortable, roomy, and impeccably clean. Breakfast was great; they kept bringing things out even though we arrived at the tail end of the breakfast schedule. Every encounter we had with staff was great -- they were responsive and friendly. And, they went out of their way to assure we were happy: The person at the desk when we checked out asked if everything was ok, and we noted that the fireplace wasnt working but that it was not a big deal. Without our asking for it, we were given a substantial reduction in our room rate. We will stay again!
Large, clean rooms with comfortable beds and great shower heads. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is standard fare. Location is perfect for Easton, next ti Trader Joe, 3 minute walk to several restaurants. This was our 5th stay. We dont even look at the other hotels anymore.
Overall, the hotel seemed nice. However, when I got to my room, it appeared the bottom of the bathtub was dirty. The rooms were comfortable; even air quality. however, the furnace was very loud in my room. This only was helpful when another guest had their tv or music playing loudly in the middle of the night and my furnace kicked on to drown that noise out. The walls could use better insulation to be respectful of guests and / or have a note in all rooms to be respectful of other guests with their volume.
Terrible experience. Booked a two night weekend getaway with the wife and the stay turned into a disaster. The first room as soon as we walked in was freezing cold and the heater was broken and smelled like it was going to catch on fire. We were moved to another room in a completely different building. We were not happy to move all our stuff so far. In the morning we had no hot water and had to take cold showers. We had plans for the day and requested the the no hot water problem be fixed by the time we get back that evening. Instead of fixing the problem they gave us two other rooms for us to inspect and choose. We chose the one that had hot water and heat. The only problem with that room was the microwave oven only the popcorn button worked on it. All four of the rooms had problems like broken light fixtures . The rooms in general were dated and worn out. The manager promises to comp our stay for the two night but ultimately only got comped for one day. Moving 3 times for a two night stay is all you need to know. I cant believe this place will carry the Marriott name much longer. Definitely not worth the high cost.
1. Check-in was very bad. Attendant had a bad attitude and was not welcoming at all. Just asked for ID and handed room key. There was no interaction like “hey, welcome” or something like that. 2. Property is very run down and is in need of a major upgrade.3. Rooms are very old school with old decor. Not what you would expect from a Marriott brand.4. Room was very smelly, especially the kitchen area.5. AC barely worked.6. Flush worked when it wanted to.Felt like we were spending couple of nights at some budget more. Definitely not worth staying here.
Residence Inn at Easton is a great get-away vacation. So much to do and see all within walking distance. We parked the car and didn’t use for 3 days! Great dining, Funny Bone comedy club, movies, and shopping - and lifestyle fitness is right next door for workout and SPA experience. ALL the Staff at this hotel are WONDERFUL! They made our trip a delight!
We stayed at the Resident Inn Easton for one night as out kids were catching a flight to FL for Spring Break the next morning. We liked the idea that we could use the complimentary airport shuttle and return to the hotel to get our car and drive home. Airport shuttle ran perfectly - and was a Mercedes Benz. Wow! The location of the Residence Inn was Ideal being so close to Easton shops and dining. We Loved it! The hotel suite was modern and clean. The staff was super friendly - every one of them that we experienced. The complimentary breakfast buffet was far more superior than most as it offered blueberries and chocolate chips for use in the waffles. My kids were Thrilled! We felt very safe walking from the Easton shops at night back to the hotel. I also felt that my car would be safe in the parking lot. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will use it myself again in the future!
I was extremely impressed with all of the staff at this property. They were consistently professional and helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. The property gave us a more relaxing feeling of staying in a condo rather than a hotel room. We will be returning and suggesting this hotel to our other colleagues that also attend meetings and conferences in the area when possible.
I needed a room big enough to hold ten 12-16 year for a Spa Party. I always stay at the Marriott Hotels for business, so my first response was to come here. Friendly staff showed me a 2 bedroom suite and I was sold. The room was perfect for the party. The girls had enough room to do their facials and mani-pedis, as well as sleep when we were done. The next morning, everyone walked downstairs and had a great breakfast before we checked out. They had a blast, as did I. Marriott hotels arent just for business, but very accommodating for leisure, as well.
We stayed at the residence Inn on an overnight trip to Easton so that we could shop and explore the area. the hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and the comedy show, which I highly recommend. The pool was great for a few hours after a long day of shopping, the bed was very comfortable and the shower nice and powerful, and the room was very spacious. The staff was great, I had left a speaker power cord in the room after check out and realized it halfway home. I called back to the hotel and they mailed it out on Monday FedEx and I received it on Wednesday so I am very grateful for that extra step that they took. The only complaints that I have art that the air conditioner is in a small closet in the bedroom and was somewhat noisy. the elevator seemed slow and the breakfast your typical subpar hotel continental breakfast. I would recommend this hotel and we would stay here again if theres a thing the area .
My sister and I took our beautiful nieces to Columbus to visit Easton Mall (American Girl Doll Store specifically) and knew we would need to spread out in comfort and the Residence Inn was our first choice and it did not disappoint! We had a lovely time. The 2 bedroom deluxe suite with fireplace was so clean, well appointed and comfy. One of my nieces exclaimed it was the nicest hotel she had ever been to and at the end of our visit my youngest niece asked if we could stay for 2 more days. High praise from both girls -- believe me. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the grounds are well kept. Of course, the proximity to the Mall cannot be beat. We will return again and again!
Staff was very friendly. Overall property was average, but more on par with a Category 4 or 5 Marriott, in my opinion. It generally felt dated and not as fresh as other category 6 Marriott properties. Typical comfortable Marriott bed and fantastic shower head. Decent pool area, nice to have the sport court available, and nice sitting area around a fire pit. Didnt get breakfast because they end it at 9 a.m. ... I guess Marriott figures everyone is there on business and has to be ready and out the door by 9.My biggest complaint is the air conditioner, at least in room 306. Decibel reading is in the low 90s - equivalent to a train going by the room. Coincidentally it even had a sound pattern that sounded like a train. It ran half the night and created a vibration through the headboard attached to an adjacent wall that caused a vibration in the pillows that prevented me from sleeping on my side with my ear in direct contact with the pillow! So, no matter how comfortable a bed is, sleeping in a bad position keeps you from getting a good night sleep.Definitely enjoy the Courtyard down the street from this Residence Inn much better.
This property is very well decorated and maintained. We only stayed one night, to avoid driving after ringing in 2015. The front desk staff was very professional and helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good. The only item to note was the kitchen area in our room in which the faucet was losely attached to the counter and under the sink the cabinetry needed some repairs. However, those items would only be an issue if my stay would be an extended stay situation.
I initially selected the hotel from the Marriott name. The mobile check in was great, and we were greated by friendly staff at the desk and in the lobby. The room had plenty of room for the 3 of us. What was nice was the bathroom was roomy as well. I hate staying at places that have tiny bathrooms that you cant even move around. This one was plentiful. The fitness center was small but well kept and served its purpose (treadmill and free weights). Bed was comfy, even the pull out sofa. The breakfast was great. It was plentiful, with lots of viariety and was actually good and tasty. It was a nice way to start another long drive. Thank you.
We experienced nothing but professional staff, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were well stocked and roomy! The pool and outdoor fire pit area was great! Easton Way shopping was directly across the street, and easily walkable. Great location. We will return next year!
We had the studio suite, kitchenette also, and the room was clean staff at the front door was helpful, I liked that they had everything you would need if you wanted to cook. We were able to walk right across the street to Easton center. Which was very nice. Overall the stay was very nice. I would do it again here
Do not book this hotel!! It is filthy and outdated- the carpet in the hallways and room and visibly soiled. The sofa in the room had multiple stains. I went to Target and bought bleach wipes, Lysol for the smell and to spray everything down. The hotel is pet friendly which is great but not when u have a large dog in the next room barking all night and day. I am a registered nurse - in Easton for the National Evidence Practice Summit. The Marriott should be ashamed of themselves for the condition of this hotel and the fact that they are taking hardworking people’s money for this filth.
The stay was nice! We had a two bedroom Two bathroom suite. These are hard to find but VERY nice for our family of 5. It gives the kids space to move and my husband and I space of our own. It would have been nice to have an indoor pool for the kids but the extra space is worth not having an indoor pool.
We paid top price for a 2 bedroom suite specifically to have two bathrooms for my 6 person family. The one shower was so poorly designed that water got everywhere in the entire bathroom so we decided not to even use it (it was a handicap shower, but very poorly executed). Also, the complimentary hot breakfast closed down 15 minutes early and ran out of food a half hour before closing time. We were told it was open until 9:30. We arrived at 9 and the fruit was gone, yogurt was gone, nothing had been replenished. I’m very dissapointed :(
This place is amazing I have met so many people: employees and customers from different states visiting and just so nice n kind! The fireplace and kitchen actually the whole room was so beautiful and the breakfast buffet all the food was awesome and fresh the employees stayed on top of making sure everything was stocked even coffee. I will definitely come back! Well worth $400 for two nights!
Ive stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed the facilities. It is certainly adequate however could use some refreshing and updates. The Easton area is celebrating 20 years of existance as is this Residence Inn. New carpets furniture and decor would bring it back up to excellence.
Disease vector nastiest hotel I’ve ever experienced. Pictures can’t convey how filthy this place is. No call from the manager as asked. Saddest is in looking through other reviews my experience is shared by lots of other travelers. Why is this allowed to continue at a Marriott property? Please stay away!
Service was great. Rooms were clean and the location was convenient to the Easton shops. However, the physical design of the buildings meant that you had to walk outdoors to get to the lobby and breakfast area. Temperatures were well below freezing. Also, my room was unfortunately next to an exterior doorway and every time someone used it to cut across the courtyard to get to the lobby you could literally feel the wall that the beds headboard was attached to vibrate as well as hearing a loud bang. That repeated every so often starting after 5 AM. I would not recommend for that reason alone, unless you can have them guarantee your room wasnt next to an entrance.
I would NOT recommend staying here. We tried to book the Hilton at Easton for a weekend getaway and this was the only option. This place is outdated, dirty and the room reeked of smoke. There were giant stains on the furniture and the bed was like sleeping in a stretch rack. Never again.
My three daughters, two granddaughters, grandson and myself had a wonderful time. Our room was clean and spacious. We really appreciated the two bathrooms. My two little granddaughters loved their American Girl Doll Experience at the hotel that included a fold out bed, robe and slippers for their dolls. I made my little grandson a little fold out bed for his Captain America doll so he would feel included and the hotel also gave him milk and cookies. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices for everyone. My only suggestion to the Residence Inn is to keep the pool open later in the evening. It is summertime and honestly 9PM is too early to close a pool. Many hotels have their pools open until 10PM or 11PM. A very nice thing about our stay is that Easton shopping was in walking distance from the hotel. We are planning a return visit to the Residence Inn Columbus Easton for shopping fun at Easton.
My daughter and I spent the weekend at the Residence Inn because it stated it was close to the shopping center. And it was!! We came to Columbus for a wedding shower but stayed for a weekend of shopping. The breakfast in the morning started out our day on the right foot. I only gave a good rating for food because the sausage and eggs were not to my liking but I was able to find something I enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well maintained. We were in a room with a fireplace and a large sofa. Very comfy! I loved having the refrigerator in the room to keep extra waters or leftovers. Overall, It was a great experience.
This hotel is in need of a total gut renovation. Rooms are outdated, carpets stained, furniture missing, damaged or just disgusting. My fridge had huge dents in it, etc. The breakfast area is a zoo and not set up to handle the volume of people, nor are they prepared with adequate seating.
This hotel is in poor condition, in all ways. Not up to Residence Inn or Marriott standards. Run down, carpeting, tub/shower, looked really old. The couch, bed, pillows, etc were incredibly uncomfortable. It was either not very clean or just so beat up that you couldnt tell the difference. And to make matters worse it was very expensive for a Residence Inn. The breakfast was marginal at best. Would have moved to a different hotel after the first night, but wasnt able to do so.
I stayed at the Residence Inn Columbus last week for Business Event- and was very pleased. The staff, especially Jeannie, were very friendly and helpful. The staff hosted an evening reception with food and beverages, which was very nice. Room was clean, quiet - could use an update in the decor.Overall- enjoyed my stay very much- and I should mention, Jeannie had one set of killer legs, too!
Great hotel for girls week-end shopping trip. No need to get in your car once you arrive at the hotel. It is very convenient to Easton Town Center shopping. Room was very clean and met all of our needs. The staff are very kind, courteous, efficient and professional. You cant go wrong with a Marriott property!
This hotel experience was NOT what I expected in the Easton Area of Columbus. The hotel is worn, dated and not clean (dusty). Although we wanted the suite arrangement for a family weekend event, the hotel was not upscale and did not meet the standard of other Residence Inns weve stayed in before. The breakfast was good, the breakfast staff attentive and the maids could be found if you needed them. The front desk staff we met did not seem to have the same attitude of guest hospitability and making one feel welcome for staying there--we seemed as though were a nuisance and a bother to bring her up front from the back office area, even at check in (8 PM). The WIFI was awful---weve had better WIFI in Ecuador and in Europe than this hotel---and our room was about 40 steps from the front desk area--so clearly not far from their office areas, too. When asked if there was an issue, the front desk said they could not do anything about it. Luggage carts or luggage racks in the room? No---these did not exist either. There are clearly better options in the area and we will not stay here again.
Front desk directed us to the wrong building. Had to schlep our luggage up the steps but couldnt find our room. Then I had to go back to the check in building only to discover he had directed me to the wrong building. Then back to the other building to get the rest of my party and take all of our luggage through the lobby, outside again and up another set of steps to another building. Accomdations were fair. Room did seem clean but legs on the table were extremly wobbly and ready to fall off.
Every thing was great,a few more items on the breakfast bar would have been great since I dont eat eggs. The turkey sausage was a good replacement for people that donot eat pork.Plenty of towels for guest. By the way before the housekeeper replace shampoo or lotion she should check to be sure the little bottles are not empty. The lotion had been open and used and left on the little tray.
Each time I stay at Easton, I choose the Residence Inn. I find the rooms to be comfortable. We use the hotel for business stays. We love having separate bedrooms for members of the group. It avoids us having multiple rooms. We like having a living room, bedroom, and multiple bathrooms. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The people working are pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and good...and it changes each day. That is appreciated when the stay is lengthy. The only issue we had this last visit was that our key cards werent recognized immediately so it took multiple insertions before the doors would open. This was a mild annoyance, but could have been more major had we been in a situation where we needed to enter immediately.
I usually dont fill out surveys, but I wanted to take a few minutes for this one. I took my family on a shopping trip to Easton Town Center, and we arrived at the hotel about 3 hours early, just to have easy parking. Well the manager not only allowed us to check in, but we were upgraded to a larger room! The stay was quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. Breakfast was great (as usual) and the staff even extended the breakfast time for many families that had slept in a bit. We will definitely try to come back next year to do some Christmas shopping!
The door to the establishment that leads to the front desk is not appealing at all. The kitchen area in the room was unclean. The shower heads need some adjusting. Having the option to watch Netflix is a plus. Most Residence Inns I have stayed in offer a night social this facility does not.
Excellent hotel, right in the heart of Easton, close to everything, quiet, relaxing with an outstanding breakfast each and every morning. The fireplace was an excellent touch especially after a day of hiking or shopping. Large closets, excellent kitchen, living/dining area and comfortable beds....you could live here!
This property was clean and everyone was very nice but be prepared to check in at the main desk and be instructed to go back outside to another building to get to your room! The buildings are not connected via an internal hallway (at least thats what we were told) so we had to go back outside in the cold and rain to go back into another building to get to our room. Very odd. Same journey the next morning in the cold and rain to get to the main lobby for breakfast. Too many other options at Easton to stay here again.
Husband and I spent a getaway weekend at Easton and wanted to stay on property for convenience to shops and restaurants. Residence Inn was so conveniently located, we barely used our car all weekend. Our suite was very clean and comfortable. The decor might be a bit outdated and the bathroom could use a more modern touch, but it worked out great for us.
The operations manager was unparalleled! He asked if there was anything he could do for me and we joked about after my free dinner that I had a taste for ice cream and nobody has coconut chocolate chip anywhere! In 15 minutes, he left the hotel, bought some for me and returned and gave it to me complimentary! That was amazing. This is an amazing place where you dont feel cooped up in a room. The courtyard is so nice and relaxing, all the staff were smiling and friendly. I loved my upgraded room and would like to return when it is a leisure trip with family to take better advantage of the area and all the wonderful shopping! Thank you so much!
My Father passed away June the 7th and they were kind enough to give me a great rate on a 2 bedroom for a week. We buried our Father at Glen Rest Cemetery on Wednesday June the 12th at 10.A.M. I do appreciate what the hotel did for me on the rate, but it was a horrible stay. I am in a room next to the entrance door. Every time someone opens that door when it shuts it shakes the wall and bed frame and this goes on every night until the wee hours of the morning. I did talk to someone at the front desk who was suppose to let someone know and move us but never did. People should be warned before moving into this room of what might occur. Garbage disposal was loud and finally stopped working. I fixed it but since we have been here, it sounds like something is stuck in it and it is loud when you turn it on. The flip around lock on the door is so loose it would be easy to come off. The drapes in my sisters room that kept out the sun and people from looking in had to be fixed with duct tape by the maintenance. Coffee pot needs replacing and some of the dishes were dirty and we washed them before we used them. Microwave was dirty, but I cleaned it. Tile loose in bathroom floor to the left of the toilet Shower curtain rod loose from the wall on the left hand side. Right bedroom door handle hard to open from the inside of the bedroom when closed Stains on Sofa I know your property is due for remodel so I understand a lot, but normal maintenance should still be taken care of and wasn’t. I am completely burned out and have not had much sleep in the last few weeks, visiting my Father at Mt. Carmel East, then him being moved to a nursing home, where he passed away 13 hours later, then being kept up by that door in your hotel with sleepless nights. There were a lot more things wrong with this room. After the price you gave me, I never wanted to complain, but I thought they would have called me back to move us. I should have read the reviews of this hotel before I stayed. They have terrible reviews all over the Internet.I told the manager Brad Jester I didnt want a full refund so I could keep up my status with Marriott, but as a Marriott Platinum Elite member I deserved some reward points. He writes me back and offers me 25,000 Marriott points. I wrote him back and told him I have 7 bad nights and your only offering me reward points good for only one night? No response from him at all. Then all of a sudden after I told him NOT to give me the points, they showed up a few days later. After complaining to his corporate offices in New York, who also has bad reviews, they never returned my phone calls. I then call from a number the Marriott didnt have, Brad said he would look into it more, called me back and said I was getting nothing else. I complained to the Better Business Bureau and he said he would give me 25,000 more points and I told him no yet he did it again after I told him not to. This is a filthy, smelly property. with a lot of bad reviews on TripAdvisor and other sites. The company that either owns them or manages them out of New York is Olshan Properties and the have a Google review of 2.6...Go read the reviews...Do not stay at this property.
We will compare all other stays to our Residence Inn Easton visit. Rooms were spacious, clean, well decorated, and with comfortable furniture. Pool was clean and easily accessed. Breakfast was great, including the coffee. Laundry facilities were easily accessed, had several washers and dryers, and had a table for easy folding. Additionally, the facility is located in a prime area for any shopping needs when you travel from food, restaurants, clothes, etc. and to the highway and interstate.
Value for the price we were quoted was not very good. Our reunion reserved an average block of rooms, we received the same rate quoted online. The hotel was extremely neat and clean, the rooms were perfectly well kept, the staff was terrific and we did have a great family gathering.
We specifically wanted a fireplace. Ours was out of order. The staff graciously upgraded us to a 2-bedroom 2-bath suite at no extra charge. As a road warrior, this is one of my top go-to chains. I have said in informal settings as well as publuc forums, Marriotts training in customer service is Blue Chip & sets the example for their industry.
This hotel is awesome! Right in the heart of it all! Very clean! Customer service was great! If I had any complaints it would be that there was no indoor pool. But we were able to use another hotels indoor pool which was right next door so it wasnt that big of a deal. Very accommodating! Also no vending on the hotel room floors! But everything else made up for those hiccups! Will definitely stay again!
This facility is nice but be very careful with the rates that are charged. Somehow my rate was changed to $293 and $350 a night and I never would have made a reservation at that high a rate. I had stayed at same hotel for approx $160 per night well within Govt rates. When I noticed my rate AFTER check out the manager was non chalant and would not correct the rate to more a more reasonable rate. In twenty years of travel and staying at Marriott properties this guy was the worst. Would not work with me in any way. HEEMMMMM Hilton is across the street. Seriously considering changing my loyalty to another hotel chain. Another point is that I never wrote a complaint about Marriott EVER...VERY Disappointed with Marriott and this guy.
The first room I had there was blood on the floor and tub. The staff provided another room but barely apologized and didnt offer any compensation. The next room was fun but that night my friend was rushed by two men trying to get into the hotel floor without a key. They were violent and obscene. The staff did apologize but the police were not called and there wasnt an escort back to the room for safely. In the morning, my room had crawly millipedes or something similar in the kitchen and floor. I quickly packed and left my room to get a subpar breakfast. The price of the room you would expect a nicer, cleaner, modern room but instead I felt like I was in a motel 8 off the highway. Would not recommend to anyone nor come back.
I stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott for 4 nights during the middle of May 2015. I was there for a work training session and we used the facilities meeting room during that time. I totally enjoyed my stay there from the first night - to the afternoon of my departure. The staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. My room was clean and comfortable. The location to the mall and surrounding areas was wonderful. If youre looking for a pleasant location to stay during youre visit to the Easton area, I would highly reccomend a stay at the Residence Inn.
We loved our stay at residence inn of Easton. The rooms were large, spacious and had more of a townhouse feel rather than a cramped hotel room. Our room had a queen bed, large tv, gas log fire place, sectional couch as well as a full kitchen with sink, dish washer, stove, full size refrigerator. It was an anniversary trip for my wife and I so it was everything we wanted. Plus, it sets directly beside Easton mall so we were able to park at the hotel and walk to the mall for all our shopping as well as walk to our evening dinner plans and enjoy the night life. We highly recommend Residence Inn!
This hotel was beyond our expectations, we really enjoyed our room the bed was comfy and it had, basically, a full kitchen. We had no idea it would be as nice as it was. staff was great, breakfast had plenty of good health options. We would definitely recommend staying here PLUS, Easton mall is right there!!!
This hotel was accommodating in so many ways. If I were to go back to Ohio I would definitely choose this hotel to stay in. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. We celebrated my twin girls 6th birthday there and the hotel manager, Jeannie, came up with a cake for the girls and balloons for all three of my children. This made me so happy because it was tough being away from home and the wonderful family parties we have every year. The staff made us feel @ home and we chatted often. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
Our room seemed clean, spacious and nice until we opened the closet to find condom wrappers on the floor. The courtesy desk had someone deliver us new keycards to another room which turned out to be a smaller room. My mother, daughter and I were disappointed with the room we were moved to and the lack of space that we had from the first room.
Very nice and clean hotel, quiet location however they allow pets and I think there should be certain rooms reserved especially for people who travel with their pets. A lot of people have pet allergies and they dont do a good job with cleaning the hair from the animals. A indoor pool would have been nice or a whirlpool
Overall a great comfortable location. Super clean hotel and the staff are more than willing to help out.Bathroom amenities need to be reviewed however. Things like cheap single ply toilet paper and the cakes of bath soap and shampoo which are of cheaper quality with an unpleasant smell.
Hotel was clean but a little dated. Elevator to the 2nd floor was a little sketchy. Breakfast was o.k. but have had better, food was cold and not much selection. Pool was outdoors so that was closed, looked small. The room was very nice. The price was high in my opinion but all the hotels in that area are.
Visited this hotel twice in the last 12 months for official business. Location of the hotel is the best and has a lot of options to go out and spend time in the mall, theater, shop and eat.Hotel is clean, good breakfast and has a comfort bed. I was here for 13 weeks this visit and the only problem I faced was bad internet connection ! Had made multiple calls to the help desk but the connectivity is still very bad (connection is not stable and turns of suddenly/slow). All my colleagues staying here in this hotel at some point of their stay had internet issues, in my line of work we need good connectivity. I hope the management takes this issue up and fixes it fast.
This Residence Inn is located next to Easton Town Center. It is a great location with plenty of shopping and food within walking distance. The hotel is need of updating but is fairly nice. Internet streaming TV does not work properly. I would rate this as a fair Marriott property for the cost.
The Residence Inn was a great experience aside for 1 issue that kind of put a moderate damper on Christmas, The staff was awesome, the rooms clean and the hotel was right in the midst of an excellent shopping experience. My suggestion is to make sure that everything is working up to Marriott standards before assigning a room to patrons.
Stayed with my son who competed in Olympic lifting at the Arnold event downtown. Room was 82 degrees when we checked in and couldn’t cool. Supposedly the hotel recently installed new cooling units and the compressor doesn’t run if outside temp is too low. The heat from sun and top floor made it impossible to cool. I expect when I turn on the AC that the unit will run and blow cool air. I suggest they fix. The only positive was the outside weather that evening got cool and open windows helped solve the heat problem in our room.
The bed was comfy and the room was clean. We were at the end of the building by a door, but to get through that door, we had to climb through bushes and walk on grass. Otherwise, we could Park by the other door and walk 10 minutes to our room. No one said there was complimentary breakfast, and the lobby is a separate building, so we paid for our breakfast. I have status and was told checkout is at 2pm but the keys stopped working at noon. At 530am the fire alarm went off, and the flashing light is right above the bed. I was blinded and paralyzed by the flashing light, and if it was a real fire, Im not sure I would have made it out. The lady at the front desk didnt smile or say anything nice, just gave us a dirty look. Maybe she had a bad day. Its a good place to sleep, as long as the firealarm doesnt go off, but its not warm and welcoming
I have stayed here dozens of times, and once again, the hotel exceeded expectations, from the front desk courtesies and Jessica’s work to help make my stay easier, to the wonderful ladies who handle the complimentary breakfast, to the clean and inviting rooms. Thank you!
Over the years we have found the Residence to be a cut about regarding breakfast, room comfort and evening amenities. It seems our last few stays a trending in another direction. The Easton Residence is a great location but the hotel is showing signs of aging with the bed sagging and the bathroom and carpeting showing its age. The managers evening mixer was a silly display of a few broken chips and items not available on that day although advertised. Breakfast is sliding toward a Fairfield fare with old bread, old fruit and rubber eggs. All of this would be acceptable if the Hotel was not charging a premium rate. You are essentially paying for location access not amenities or Hotel comforts.
I am a BonVoy Titanium member and will be Ambassador level in another few weeks. I love Marriot properties and go out of my way to stay in them when travelling. This is, by far, one of the worst Residence Inn properties that I have ever stayed in. This is not a staff issue but a hotel condition issue. Dark hallways with lights that flicker, shims holding ceiling tiles in place, boogers on the elevator walls, stains on the carpeting, etc. Simply gross. I can not believe that the Marriot brand allows something like this to be called a part of their portfolio. This is a great location adjacent to Easton shopping center and Marriot leadership needs to take a very long look at investment decisions and putting this hotel at the top of the list. Never again will I stay at this location. Thanks.
The hotel is a nice hotel that we have enjoyed many time. This time was however a disappointment. We tried to check in at 2:30pm and were told we must wait until the 3pm check-in time. Normally I would not mind, but there were only 10 cars in the entire parking lot. There were clearly rooms available. At 1:30am we were awoken to a fire alarm. We exited the building waiting outside for 10 minutes before returning to our room with no explanation from the hotel staff as to what had happened. Loyal Marriott customer, but this was a very poor stay.
This hotel has location going for it. Easy walk to the mall even in the rain. Hotel is little dated. Hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. No USB jacks in room or lobby so dont forget your charger. Room had nessary amenties for Residence Inn- fridge, microwave, cooktop. Couch was stained. Stayed in 1 bedroom suite. Checkin staff were OK. Checkout staff were much friendlier and more helpful. Breakfast was typical continental buffet items.
The Hotel at Easton Town Center is usually a step above the others but service this Christmas Holiday was lacking. Upon checking in (at normal check in time) no one was visible at the front desk. After several minutes I finally called the main number to get someone to the front desk. On the way to my room, I immediately noticed the hallways carpets were being cleaned and had numerous large hoses that had to be straddled with luggage in hand to access the room. When in the room, noticed the toilet did not flush. Phoned front desk for service and they agreed to send someone but nobody ever showed up. Carpets in the room no longer look new. In the evening we received a notice that the water would be turned off the next day between 9 and 5 due to maintenance. They were right. At 9 the next day the water was off.
Front guest staff is the reason for the two star rating. The woman who checked me out of the room was extremely rude because you charged the room incorrectly and acted as if it was a problem that I wanted it corrected. We brought a group of 16 to the hotel for a two day stay for a company meeting and that was not the treatment I thought I would get.
The building was well maintained and very clean. The morning breakfast staff were all very friendly and spoke to me both mornings. The only thing that I could possibly criticize was the morning breakfast. Granted, it was complimentary but it should still be top quality for that hotel.
I have mixed reviews on this hotel. I really loved the area, i really loved the room. Breakfast was great and it was free. I usually stay downtown when I come to the columbus area however i decided to give this a go. I checked in late one night with a few coworkers, the woman behind the counter seemed friendly at first but as i walked away she commented under breath about something. I called back later for some extra towels and found her name was deseree. she was helpful but she seemed a little annoyed. I then came down early in the morning with the people i were traveling with. The woman working the desk was extremely unfriendly. I understand it was a little after six am but i expected my morning to be a little more welcoming. We stayed for three days, the other girls at the hotel were extremely welcoming and friendly. Over all i really enjoyed this hotel and the location. i believe customer service can be worked on.
Laundry and breakfast staff great, front desk girls okay, front desk managers Tammy, Lauren & Erin not so much. Overheard the Management speaking down on guest after hanging up the phone, very 2 faced and evil. Housemen and Security seem to be of the world as well. Sad. See through the illusion, not the hotel for Bible thumping Christians better off booking your stay elsewhere Easton seems very Satanic in more ways then one. Front curb by entrance had a red cone by it my whole stay, hot water takes awhile to heat up, smelled smokey in parts of the hallway and this is a non smoking building.
The General Manager at the Residence Inn/Easton made sure that my stay exceeded my expectations. She was genuinely interested in me and what I was looking to do in the area. She embodies what I have come to know as the Marriott Way. Her service and attitude reminds me why I keep coming back to Marriott properties, regardless of what city I travel to.
Not only is the Easton Town Center the most wonderful place to spend a few days but the Residence Inn is within walking distance of everything. It is so very neat, clean and well, just what you would want your house to be. I decided I could live there permanently if the closets were only bigger. :)There is great dining and shopping in a variety of price ranges and styles
My fault for returning to Residence Inn for more nightmares. WORST WORKING PERSON/TRAVELER Hotel chain EVER!!! First, the internet is not the typical slow of Marriott fame. No you wish it was the horrible Marriott speed you are used to .... Residence Inn the last two times I stayed, the Internet was useless. The support persons Marriott hires is embarrassing. I note my phone and two tablets connect but at a very very very slow rate. 3KB for the fast Internet that you have to pay for.....NEVER BUY THE FAST INTERNET, it is useless. I used my phone for internet with the devices and have had much better speed than the crappy hotel network. After putting up with the support person saying he needs to troubleshoot my devices, I am wondering why am I staying here wasting my time with a support person that knows nothing! I moved hotels and will not return to waste my time being Marriotts support instead of whatever morons they did hire that are incapable of doing their jobMarriott is growing to the point of forgetting the people that helped them grow. I would recommend this hotel to my enemy to annoy the living hell out of them!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!
Loved the place. Great location. Right next to mall and within walking distance of several very good chain restaurants. They treated me and my dog very well. The breakfast was great but the managers reception food was a bit off but it was free. It was very well kept up and nice furnishings. Beautiful Campus. I would definitely stay again!!!
Residence inn is a great place to stay if you are looking for a longer term stay!! They have free breakfast and the rooms are very nice. They are also pet friendly which is nice if I have to bring my dog with me. Its also right inside Easton, so everything is it walking distance.
Our family group enjoyed staying over the weekend for the OSU-Michigan Football Game. This location offers fine dining and excellent shopping within walking distance of the hotel. We reserved numerous 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom suites which offer enough room to gather the family.
This is the second year I have stayed in this hotel for the OFDA convention. The 2 bedroom/2 bath suites makes it idea for non-family and business associates to share a room. The kitchen and desk areas were perfect for a late night snack, business work, and a cup of coffee.
There were many friends and family meeting up for a family visit -- Columbus Easton was a perfect meeting place. Shelby was an excellent manager managing the many visitors reservations. The rooms were perfect, we really enjoyed the mini-kitchen, as well as the comfy bed and entertainment stytem on the TV.
I live in Residents inn year round, this one needs a serious upgrade. Never felt so unwelcomed. They wont recognize your Marriott status. Way over priced $160 a night. I will never stay here again. If you like hearing the loud hot rod cars and sounds bass in your room this is the place for you. The bed was horrible, one half still had the pillow top and the other half was worn flat The evening staff were very disrespectful and rude. They seemed not to like white people. I would say hello to them when I walked into the lobby and would never get a hello how doing back. This happened multiple times. The morning staff was the opposite. First Residents inn that Ive stayed in that charged you for alcohol during there Monday threw Wednesday happy hour. It takes two hours to dry your clothes. I told them, but it was a waste time, nothing ever happened. I say this place is well below Merriots standards.
Never use gift cards. Staff could not make them work and I was told they were not valid. Upon leaving the lobby and going to my car, I checked with the gift card company and they were in fact all valid. Not only did the staff not offer to help and see what the problem was, they treated me like I was doing something nefarious. Since others were checking out at the same time. needless to say I was embarrassed. I walked across the street (the hotel is across the street from Easton Town Center) and used one of the cards. It was in fact totally valid. I would never stay here again
We stayed at the Residence Inn Columbus Easton because of its location to the Easton Town Center. It was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. You were able to walk to everything. The room was updated and very clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely stay there again.
After several years of staying here with no problems, an illegal smoker was in an adjoining room and completely polluting our room and the hallway. The staff was indifferent initially to correcting the illegality, later initiating action but too late to be of any help for our stay. This is very disappointing and next year we will probably look elsewhere for our lodging needs.
If you need to be far from home but wanted to feel at home, Residence Inn Columbus is a good hotel choice. Rooms are large with sitting area, small kitchen with complementary coffee, and popcorn thats being replenished everyday. Compliment breakfast is also offered which makes it more super.
Over the last five years I travel often (Platinum & Gold) with other brands. Im currently Platinum with Marriott and I can honestly say Ive never seen a better trained or friendlier staff than I did at the Marriott Residence Inn at Easton. The General Manager and staff made my experience the most pleasant ever.
Not satified with the stay. payment option is worst thing in this hotel if you stay for more than oen day here. they sqeeze you money like anything because check-in is done by swiping your credit card and after that anytime your money got debited and your wondering how you losse money without any transaction.
I booked the room based on what customer care has informed about the rates. But the residence inn easton has changed the rates and they dont follow the marroitt rate rules. Also, each case was looked differently. My colleague and myself stayed for the same number of days, but both were charged differently. Very bad way the situation was handled by marroitt customer care and residence inn eastom manager.
The Residence Inn Columbus Easton was the perfect getaway and place to stay for a convention. The kitchenette was a bonus! The suite was clean and the staff was friendly. I was concerned at first being on the first floor right by the parking lot, but I wasnt disturbed at all by the traffic. I look forward to returning in the future.
What you get here is an amazing location for staying in Columbus (Easton is at your door step) and access to the large gym across the street. Besides that? Meeeh... Breakfast offerings are... well, lets just say I ended up going to Trader Joes next door and grabbing food to make breakfast each morning in the kitchen thats available in each room.If you do like having access to a kitchen and preparing your own food, you really cant go wrong with a Residence Inn as thats its distinguishing factor compared to other hotels. I just never really felt comfortable staying here and ended up starting to stay at the Courtyard next door. The elevator felt like it was about to combust every morning and evening and the rooms are trapped in 1995. But for the cost, you do get more than you could bargain for staying downtown. Its definitely the cheapest hotel option for Easton and you do get a pool, which no other hotels offer. Just not for me.
One side of the hotel backs up to the garbage area of the mall, trash is on a Thursday. Trucks run every hour after 12am in Thursday, they will wake you up. Dated rooms and decor, combined with a lumpy bed makes for an underwhelming stay, especially for a Residence Inn. Stay at the Lyra drive one, not this one.
If you book travel, this hotel has a cumbersome 3rd-party payment form process. I filled out the form which was approved, but then I still had my guest telling me that the hotel wanted him to pay an incidental deposit out of pocket the day that he checked in, which he wasnt willing to pay since my company was covering the hotel. Additionally, calling the front desk to get a receipt for my guest was painful. The associate who shall remain nameless told me that she couldnt look up my guests information without knowing his check-out date and wanted me to call him to ask when he checked out before she would help me. I confronted her about it because any other hotel would look up the guests information by their name, check-in date, or any other identifiers I had. She made me read her my confirmation number off the travel itinerary I got from my travel company, which she then told me was wrong. Eventually I got her to e-mail me a receipt, and I was tired of being polite to her because I thought she was being rude. The e-mail never came through, so I called back and talked to a nice guy named Larry who e-mailed me the receipt without a fuss. I wouldnt recommend booking here if youre a third-party payer.
My experience was good I must say, but when you know you may have left something behind and didnt realize till the next day and you call and you get a rude rep who doesnt want to be at work, it becomes frustrating. I know I left my item and if I didnt get it then housekeeping took it wether trashed or not. Wont be booking there no more!! FYI assure you dont forget nothing and I mean nothing!!
As a frequent traveler for pleasure and business I appreciate high quality service at all levels and a well kept and clean property. That is what I always get at the Residence Inn Columbus Easton. Location is incredible with Easton Town Center foot steps away. Perfect place for business travelers and families.
I didnt like anything about the hotel. The front desk staff were horrible poor customer service. The room was always dirty. Tammy Jeanine and Erin at the front desk where beyond horrible always disrespecting customers while you are at the lobby . The location was great. Beside that I would never go back and stay there again
We live just outside of Columbus and wanted to go to the Funny Bone for a show that evening. We occasionally like to do a “staycation“ and get a hotel in the area we want to hang out. This is so close and convenient to Easton and the Funny Bone. I’m sure we will do it again… This is our second time staying there. We love it!
Great Location, Friendly staff, Good value, but starting to age and cut corners. The exterior door by my room was broken for days. Walking around the building I sprained my ankle on uneven concrete sidewalk. The evening meal does not include beer and wine. They are an extra $1 or $2. Breakfast was eh compared to other RIs.

2022-07-06The location is pretty good.Breakfast was pretty disappointing. There wasnt much options to have in the first place and whatever few things they were providing, it wasnt restocked.Reception staff is very polite and helpful. Rooms are also decent.

2022-03-12I booked this particular room for the fireplace. Upon check-in, was informed they are all out of service. I asked for some type of credit or upgrade for my inconvenience. The Manager upgraded me to a one bedroom suite. After surveying the room, I discovered their was garbage under the sink, dishes were still in the dishwasher and all the pots and pans were gone. I brought groceries to cook. I called down to inform the Manager. He said he would send a skillet and a pot up. Also was advised the garage would be picked up at that time. 30 minutes later, I called again. I was informed the housekeeper was searching all the available rooms for a pot and to wait a few more minutes. Housekeeping arrived with one pot. That was all he could find. The quality of the sofa is very poor. It feels like sitting on concrete. This experience has tarnished my image of Marriott.

2022-06-28The room was beautiful and the property is well maintained. That’s why the writing all around our front door was very odd. Also, the door to one of the bedrooms was completely off the hinges and could not be shut. Did not have housekeeping for the 4 days we were there. Asked for additional towels at the front desk and was told they would bring them up and we never received them.

2022-02-18Travel nurses beware! The location is perfect. That is the only plus. Washing machines not working. Housekeeping is poor. Front desk staff, with the exception of one woman, is a joke (poor customer service, sarcastic responses to issues). I’ve had mail sent to me at the hotel and, even after speaking with front desk and letting them know I was expecting mail, it was returned with the delivery driver because no one by my name was staying there. At that time I had been there 4 weeks. After several complaints regarding housekeeping, the manager came by our room. I was sleeping (I work nights) so I didn’t get to the door in time so they let themselves in and yelled through the bedroom door for me to come out. When I walked to the living area the manager and a housekeeper were inside our room. The very next day, twice within 10 minutes, staff(I assume housekeeping) was beating on the door and trying to come in but I had the door latched. I am relocating to another extended stay in Easton. I have always enjoyed my stays at Marriott locations, but this place is terrible. The one star is strictly for location.

2022-05-07This is my second at this location, and Im lowering this rating. The rooms are nice and comfortable, but werent clean. The pots in my kitchenette still had leftover food in them. The coffee machine had an old coffee filter still in it. In addition to that, they assigned my room a second time so a guest just entered my room at i was getting installed causing a lot of confusion and back and forth with the front desk.

2022-04-27Nice place for an overnight stay here in Columbus, OH. About a 15 minutes trip from the airport. The rate for this room was within $10 of competing hotels but the value of the extra space was terrific.Free breakfast from 6 - 9 AM. Solid value.

2022-01-17This property is a hot mess. It looks like it just finished a renovation so it looks nice but things like fireplaces aren’t hooked up ,the staff doesn’t seem to understand what beds are in their own rooms among many other issues. I booked a two room suite - turns out they upgraded too many people and none were available when I checked in. I was offered two 1 bedroom non adjoining rooms for my trouble. This is unacceptable when hours earlier I was told my room was available. I stay in many Marriotts (100+ nights. a year) and this is the first time in a while I have to collect guarantees around benefits. Not that the hotel knows what those are either. This could be a good property but they need to put in the work

2022-04-30I would really like to be able to rate this hotel higher because I love Marriott hotels. However, this one fell a bit short and was a bit disappointing despite it being in a perfect location. Tons of stores and restaurants in walking distance. Had I not been so tired after a 10 hour drive, I might have said something while I was there. But I was exhausted. My issues were that the check in person was a bit rude. The bath mat in our bathroom was absolutely soaked/wet upon our arrival which was weird as there weren’t any leaks and the bathtub was dry. The bathtub floor/bottom seemed super thin, flexible and moved under your feet, like you could fall through it…believe it or not. The coffee pot was wet and unclean. The breakfast was also one of the worst hotel breakfasts. The breakfast staff were very pleasant and friendly, but the breakfast was mediocre at best. Eggs and bacon were ok. The bagels were stale and their toaster didn’t work at all! They really need a new one. I’m sorry but I don’t think I’ve ever complained this much. I’m just lucky I was exhausted from the drive and the bed was good! I’m not giving up on Marriott however as I know they can do better. Oh…and there’s a horrendous trash smell outside for one reason.

2022-03-20Im not sure if these are paid positive reviews or folks with low expectations. One of the poorest services Ive seen and experienced at any Marriott property. Starting with incorrect room assignment, to room keys that dont work, to someone opening the door while we were still in the room. The hotel is old but the rooms have been updated. I think the Courtyard next door may have been a better option if you have to stick to Marriott. Otherwise, the Hilton is your best bet near this location.

2022-05-07This place was not worth my travel or business. The price did not match the room or service. First of all, I enjoy watching personalized television thru my Roku system. Mounted televisions where you have no access to the HDMI sources. That sucks. They gave us another room which had a fireplace that doesnt work. Marriott, look out for personal hotel analyst that will give hotels true ratings. Any room that charges over $100 per night should automatically offer a safe. This hotel ultimately does not rank well for the Easton town mall area. With bad traffic and bad weather conditions 4 hour drive destroyed my entire mothers day weekend for my wife and I.
