We enjoyed this hotel for a no-kids staycation. Good location close to Dublin and the new pedestrian bridge area. We only stayed one night, but if we had been there longer, the kitchen would have been nice to use, and was well stocked with dishes. We especially liked that we could access our Netflix account on the TV.
One of the worst experiences Ive had at a Marriott hotel. We were checked into a room that was 59 degrees and an hour later it was 62 degrees. Then to compound matters the toilet didnt work. We moved across the hall and the room just wasnt cleaned properly. Because the Sabbath ends on sunset Saturday I had to wait to have a hot drink. When I went to make a pot of coffee the pot was burnt and filthy. Later we noticed a credit card under the bed with some other paper trash. So much for rigorous cleaning standards. They also are limited on non pork options for breakfast and its carb heavy. This location doesnt have a restaurant for room service, so area restaurants are a better choice if you dont eat pork and are diabetic. The management did comp our stay for one night and offered a measly 2000 Marriott points which never materialized.
There were several things did not make a good impression with us. Hallways had a stale smell. Light constantly flickering outside our room for the three days we were there, Kitchen light didn’t work. Couch had stains on it and would not sit there without a towel down. Had two TVs one remote did not work, Air conditioner was really loud no filter on it. Bathroom floor was sticky. Had AAA discount, but was not applied to bill. Room was not worth the full price we paid. Staff was friendly which was the best thing about the stay and location to area was good, but hotel itself no. I understand that during these times maybe maintenance on the rooms is hard to get done, but this was a little ridiculous, especially for the price.
Great hotel for families! A full size fridge, dishwasher and a mini stove made for very convenient amenities. The pool was opened on the last day of our stay, and it was clean and heated. Unfortunately due to COVID, there were no dining options in the hotel, which was inconvenient. The room was not completely cleaned as well, but staff was attentive and helpful.
The staff is amazing. They are efficient and very kind. Always ready to help you and answer any questions or make suggestions. The cleanliness cannot be beaten and everything is very tasteful. Cannot say enough good things about this location. An oasis when you need one.
We truly enjoyed our stay! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable for our family of 5. We cooked 2 meals in the room and it was nice! We wish for more cooking items in the full kitchen but we could make do with what we had! The breakfast isnt available still due to Covid and they were working on getting the pool up and running but it was difficult with the cold temps! We always stay at this Residence Inn for our staycations and we couldnt be happier there. Everything is always so perfect when we are there! Thank you for making it great!
This hotel has some of the best staff ever. I have stayed here multiple times. They are very friendly and welcoming. If you have any issues, they are eager to help. They are the reason I didnt even look at other options before booking this stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. In fact, the rooms are cleaner than most other hotels I have stayed in for the past year. The lighting in the bathroom could be a little better, but its not horrible. The rooms are pretty quiet for a hotel. The downside to this hotel right now is the lack of a real breakfast. They have a grab n go that has some low end pastries and granola bars. They did add fresh fruit (apples and oranges). But if you want a hot breakfast, you will have to make it yourself or go elsewhere. There is a grocery store right next door if you choose to make it yourself (you can literally walk there). I rated this as an average value because of the lack of breakfast. Otherwise, I would consider this hotel a good value. As with most hotels, there is no housekeeping right now, although if you need anything, they have stuff at the front desk and provide it instantly. and the gym is back open as well as the pool.
We have stayed at this particular Residence Inn on multiple occasions in the past and we may never do so again at any Marriot property. To say we were surprised is an understatement. While we understand there are staffing shortages across the hotel industry we cannot accept that a brand like Marriot cannot manage to provide, or at least communicate, cleaning of rooms, taking out of trash and dirty towels, cleaning of common areas. In addition, no hotel staff were wearing masks...I thought this was a given these days, regardless of location. The hallways smelled like a skunk had sprayed someones dog and permeated our room. Our two bedroom suite was dirty upon check-in with visible hairballs and areas that clearly had not been cleaned. Our attempts to get someone at the front desk were 50/50 but we witnessed other times when there was a line to check-in but no one at the front desk. The manager(s) were clearly working overtime to make up for the lack of staff but we expect more from the Marriot brand.
I was in town because my daughter is a student at The Ohio State University. We were moving her out of her dorm and into her new apartment. I had to stay overnight and we picked this hotel. Wow, great decision. The place was clean, the staff was awesome, and the area was very safe .We had no issues while at the hotel and we did enjoy our stay.I accidentally left a hoodie in the room. Before I had left the Columbus area to go home to WV, the General Manager Teresa called me and told me that my hoodie had been found and that I could pick it up or they would mail it for me. I was amazed. I cant even express how grateful I am that they took the time to call me. Great place, great employees, and a totally great experience.
Staff was pleasant, has nice amenities, and location is good, but our room was filthy. Hundreds of hairs in the bed and on the pillows. It was lucky we brought a lint roller with us. We used up four sticky lint roller sheets getting all the hairs out of the bed. There’s no way that staff had changed the sheets between the previous guests and us—obviously just remade the bed with the used sheets. Food crumbs on the chairs and underneath the dining table, which indicates the suite was probably not vacuumed, or at least not very thoroughly. Weird stains all over the couch. The spout in the tub is practically falling off, and you have to be Superman to pull up the pin that diverts water from the spigot up to the shower head. In the midst of a pandemic, when cleaning and sanitizing is extra important, it made us feel really uncomfortable about touching anything.
Room smelled strong of something I couldn’t describe. Bathroom faucet in sink and shower were faulty. The sink faucet moved around when it was turned on or off. It was very loose. The knob in the tub had to be pushed in and turned to turn on or off or to change the water temperature. It was very hard to use since it was also broken. There was no linen for the pull out bed. I called the front desk for linen and a man who was frustrated said that “you also needed linen” said “you’re my 20th call and we are all out”. He brought me two flat sheets and a nasty blanket. There were no pillows for my children on the pullout bed so we gave them ours. I walked to the front desk to speak to someone about this and saw that Eric was handing a comforter to another lady. I asked for that as well since he I was told he was out. He then went to get me one from a hallway door near the front desk after I told him to. His name was Eric and he just didn’t want to have to walk anywhere to help me. He said they were just out of linen because they were so full (linen should be plentiful whether you are at capacity or not. It sounds like there just wasn’t enough staff to clean it all) and if I wanted dirty I had to give him my permission. The king sized bed had short black hair and eyelashes on the sheets when they were pulled the down the first time. There was no stand for your luggage. The pool was gross so the kids didn’t swim. There was no hot breakfast. It was in a brown bag and I saw the manager drop all the muffins on the floor in the hallway before they were assembled on Saturday morning 7-10-21. I walked by her and asked where the breakfasts were since we couldn’t find any and she pointed to where she dropped the box and said “right here, follow me” as she picked them up off the floor to take them to the lobby to make more brown paper bag breakfasts. She was the assistant general manager, TMH on my checkout sheet. Older woman. I’ve stayed in a Residence inn in Columbus Indiana and LOVE it. I’ve also stayed in dozens of hotels during Covid with hot breakfasts and plentiful linens. This was beyond deplorable.
Although this hotel is a bit dated, the rooms are extremely comfortable and the staff takes good care of you. Be sure to bring charge blocks for your devices as the only USB ports in the room when I stated were in the clock by the bed. Other than that, the room provided me with everything I needed for my month long stay in Dublin.
Since most Marriotts cut back significantly on the quality of their breakfasts, initially due to the pandemic, and only some have gone back to their original pre-pandemic offering, my reviews are on a scale of no waffles (1 star) to DIY waffle maker with peanut butter and brown sugar (5 stars). The Columbus Dublin Residence Inn does not offer waffles, peanut butter, or brown sugar in their breakfast. 1/5.
With so much changing so quickly in the world right now, its a little daunting to deal with travel arrangements. The staff here made everything work perfectly and were willing to help as things changed for us. And the property is really comfortable and convenient, too! Really outstanding -- I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Columbus from now on.
My family comes from Chicago to Columbus every year for the Zoo and this was the 1st time we ever stayed at the Residence Inn. The staff was amazing. The stay made me want to come back again no matter the price. We had a group of 28 ppl and my entire group loved everything. Thank you Andrew and Theresa for all you do.
Our room was perfect. Loved the bedroom suite. Very clean. Andrew at the front desk was so friendly, polite, and super helpful. However, the pool was ice cold. My kids could only get in for about 5-10 minutes at a time before their lips turned blue and their teeth were chattering. I could not get in at all! The pool was also closed on Mondays/Tuesdays. Didn’t really understand the reasoning. Kind of put a damper on our trip since swimming is the best part of a hotel stay for our kids. I’m glad we brought our own groceries because breakfast was made up of sams club like snacks. Donuts, honeybuns, granola bars. Super Lame. Other than that, it was an okay stay.
The rooms look great. Nice upgrades. But there were maybe five or six occupied rooms, and they put us directly underneath another hotel guest. At five in the morning, we were awoken to hear the guests above us using the bathroom. The sound was very clear; like they were staying in our room. Then we could hear them showering. After about an hour, they started running the kitchen sink. During that time, we noticed a loud continuous banging in our bedroom wall. We took a video of the sound. It didnt stop for about 10-15 minutes.
Im a very loyal Marriott customer. I only stay at Marriott hotels - Fairfield, Courtyard, JW, Vacation Club. This hotel fell below our expectations. The carpet felt worn and dirty, even threadbare in the hallways. The pendant light in the kitchen was burnt out, not working. The pool was cold and the manager said there was nothing they could do about it. The dishwasher was leaking water on the floor when you turn it on. And it felt like it was gonna fall out of the wall. Just feels rundown and neglected. I couldnt wait to get out of there. The staff were very nice and responsive though, exactly what youd expect for a Marriott.
I usually stay at a residence inn hotel when traveling and have stayed at this one before and I always have a great experience. This time was not so great the room was not clean and the staff at check in was rude. There were hairs in the bedding and pillows. There was also hairs in the towels and they were stayed and did not look to have been washed. The door had dried gunk dripping down it the body wash was used and the tub was cracked. I feel given the pandemic we are currently dealing with the staff should be more sanitary. I feel that this hotel and it’s location is too nice of a place for it to be mishandled and not taken care of the way it was.
We stayed at Dublin Residence Inn on a whim as we needed last minute accommodations. The hotel manager was friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. She offered personal insights regarding Dublin that enhanced our stay and brief visit to the area. Would highly recommend the location and the hotel itself for the top-notch service, cleanliness, and accommodating atmosphere.
Hotel was okay. A little disappointed in things I’d expect to be better at a Marriott hotel. Carpets in hallways were a little dirty and threadbare. Pool was not heated. Very cold, but kids swam anyway. Dishwasher was leaking water and one pendant light in room was burned out. Flickering light in hallway. Other than that, was fine for our needs.
I was pleasantly surprised by the size and modern fixtures in my room. I correlate suites wkitchens to be older and a little more “used”. Instead, I had a beautiful room, walk-in shower, great bed, nice desk to work and a full size refrigerator to store evening snacks and sparkling water as I worked. In this era of Covid, it was nice to minimize trips out for food.
This hotel is priced well right now, during COVID. The rooms are exactly was pictured on the website and the hotel is quiet. The downside to this particular hotel is that they are not serving hot breakfast. There is a grab and go of packaged muffins and granola bars and oranges. There is a grocery store right next door, so go get your own. The gym is open but only 1 person for 30 minutes- and they block off half the machines - not sure why if you cant be in there with anyone else. Pool is not open. I only ran into a problem getting in once to the gym when I wanted. I did not get a room upgrade, even though Im platinum, either time I stayed here (Ive stayed twice), and the hotel was FAR from full. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. There is no housekeeping, but they will replace whatever you want if you ask. The room was very clean when I got there. There were a couple guys on an ATV with a snow plow attached cleaning off the sidewalks. One would spread salt, then the other would run by and scrape the sidewalk 30 seconds later - thereby scraping the salt OFF the sidewalk. Not sure what they were accomplishing. The back sidewalks were still pretty icy for two days after the snow stopped as a result. So, watch your step! Overall I would stay here again, but the local management should fine tune some of their processes to be consistent with what one expects when they book a Residence Inn.
The hotel is nice and clean. Took the staff forever to get to the front desk for check in. And the first night the desk line just kept a busy signal so we weren’t able to report the tv in the front room not working. The shower handle to our room broke but this must be a ongoing issue cuz the front desk already knew the issue.
We asked for a block of rooms because we where in town for a wedding. That did not happen. We asked about it. Our requests were ignored. One couple came at 5pm. Check in is at 3pm. They where told their room was not ready. They waited 45 mins while assistant manager cleaned room. Check out day assistant manager called room to see when we where leaving. .to pushy. It made me feel uncomfortable.
As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, I have alot of experience staying in Marriott properties but this was the all time best! Everything about the experience was five star. All of my contact with staff members was extaordinary. My room was perfect- spacious, clean, and well appointed. The breakfast buffet and the Wednesday night gathering exceeded my expectations and I had the pool to myself to swim laps. I would love to revisit this hotel!
Even before I showed up at the hotel, the front desk was accommodating and extremely helpful. Upon arrival, I got an overall sense of the coziness of the hotel and how clean everything was. Once I got into my room, my satisfaction for this location hit an all time high. The high ceilings, pristine condition of everything, and with the amount of space, I knew that I was going to be more than comfortable during my stay. The breakfast in the morning was ample and fully stocked. There were plenty of places to eat and shop at within miles of the hotel and a short easy ride to downtown Columbus. Loved every minute of my stay at this location! Well done staff at the Residence Inn Columbus Dublin!
This is probably the worst Marriott Ive ever stayed! The pool is so cold its not even funny, youre supposed to schedule a time but multiple people in the pool area at the same time they do not follow the rules and regulations. The best is the breakfast its the biggest joke Ive ever seen Ive been to the Marriott New Albany that Marriott at Polaris way way better breakfast Orange juice not cold no milk no cereal all they have is granola bars and oranges will be fine a complaint with Marriott
Had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn. Probably one of the best and friendliest check in experience. The rooms were clean and spacious, with the extra bathroom in the suite a bonus. The Mix encouraged people to gather and socialize and we took advantage of that and enjoyed the wine and food. It was a very convenient location, close to the highways, but also close to restaurants and grocery stores. Love the Trader Joes closeby. Recommended restaurants by the staff were also fabulous. All in all, a quiet location despite been so central, good staff at the front and well maintained hotel.
I brought my mom to the area to go to Columbus Zoo. We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience with the hotel. It was clean, staff was friendly, and the hotel was quiet. The location is great as well. There are a number of restaurants and shops pretty close by. Dublin looks a Little different to me these days (it’s been several years since I’ve been to town), but still very nice. My only complaint would be the bed wasn’t very comfortable to me. But not so bad that I wouldn’t stay here again.
Stayed here for work during the COVID pandemic. Reasonable rates at about $100 a night. Room was clean and lots of space to stretch out. Residence is one of the better extended stay hotels while on the road. Reasonably priced laundry at $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry. Location is behind Kroger which was perfect for me and was able to walk to and from Kroger with groceries. I do miss the breakfast buffet before COVID but Residence did an excellent job at substituting with a choice of food in a bag. I wish fresh fruit was an option for the bag. Front desk was very helpful and polite. I had aircraft oil on my sweater (Im an aerial surveyor) and they found some Dawn soap in their kitchen to help with the stain. I highly recommend staying here and will tell my coworkers the same!
We stayed at the Residence Inn during a Jazz Fest & while the hotel was hosting 2 girls sports events. Lots of people, but the hotel was clean, quiet & we got an excellent nights sleep. Under the watchful eye of the staff, both the teams & the other guests had a great stay. Breakfast was very good, even my vegan husband was able to find food to his liking. The food is a combination of healthy & comfort food, all of good quality. Residence Inn is our hotel of choice & Dublin exceeded our expectations.
The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood, with convenient shopping one exit away. The room was very clean, the appliance and furniture looked brand new. The bed was in a separate area and was very comfortable. The hotel had an indoor pool with a small work out area. Three doors secured the pool area with key access, so a nice safety measure if you have toddlers. I did not wake up in time for breakfast and I did not use the internet, so I cannot comment on either of those items that were included. They also had a nice outdoor basketball court that I did enjoy.
RI in Dublin is spectacular. I am a frequent/business traveler spending 50-60 hotel nights a year. This hotel met all of my expectations and more. The rooms are impressively clean. The design is modern while not compromising comfort. Staff was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was impressive. Definitely on my list of hotels to revisit.
My husband and I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and we visit the Columbus area often because my elderly mother is in a memory care facility nearby. We have stayed at the Columbus/Dublin Residence Inn more than 35 nights since August of 2018. Every time it has been an excellent experience. We travel a lot and stay at many hotels around the country. The Col/Dublin is the best Marriott hotel we have stayed at, and in fact, the best hotel from any chain that we have stayed at. It is clearly well managed. It is clean and quiet; the breakfast offers an exceptional variety of foods; the location is easy to get to because it is right off of Hwy 270. It is an incredible value for the money. But perhaps for us, one of the top highlights is the friendly staff. They greet us at the door, offer upgrades when available, and do everything they can to accommodate our needs. This hotel truly has become our home away from home.
Beautiful hotel, beautiful room, best pool ever, but even better than all this- amazing service! Theresa H. really made our night by helping us book a room last minute and Joey was super-friendly and caring this morning upon checkout. The breakfast was delicious. We will be back!
The rating would be five and has no reflection on the Residence Inn or the employees of the facility. The hotel room we initially received was Room 429. When we entered the room we were extremely pleased. The room was clean and very appealing. All was great until we decided to go to bed and sleep or at least try to sleep. Throughout the overnight hours employees at the adjacent businesses (Kroger) were noisy all night. Slamming dumpster kids, stacking pallets, rolling metal carts in and out of the store having no respect for those just feet away trying to sleep. The staff of Residence Inn were very helpful in moving us to another room following the second night of limited sleep due to noise. Thank you to the management and staff of Residence Inn for accommodating us on my business trip.
I really enjoyed this hotel for the week I was there. My room was very modern and updated. Loved the full refrigerator and stove top.Very friendly staff. Breakfast was always good and the evening meals were always a treat. The only thing that I can say that I didnt enjoy was the lack of hot water in the morning. I was not cold, but I was for sure not hot during my showers. Overall I was very happy with my stay.
Am I glad I selected The Residence Inn. Our famiIy was arriving from 4 different states to attend our sons wedding. I researched many hotels in the area looking for the perfect one to meet all of our needs, a large selection for breakfast, handicapped accessible room, in-room suites, indoor pool and a large lobby for family gathering. I was not disappointed about my selection. From the moment we checked in through the 4 days when we checked out, we felt like we were home. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating, the breakfast had a huge selection, the lobby was inviting and the perfect place to gather for breakfast or just a cup of coffee to unwind with while my 3 year old grandson swam with my husband. I cannot say enough as to how attentive the staff was to my wheel-chaired bound mother. They went out of their way helping us whenever possible. And most importantly to me, was the cleanliness of the facility~ I am extremely picky when it comes to hotel cleanliness. The Residence Inn is top-notch in that department. Thank you Residence Inn for making our stay feel like we were home!
This property is easy to access from the highway, has great dining options nearby and a Kroger grocery store just down the street. The layout of the rooms are fantastic with lots of thought put into the layout, e.g. decent closet space, lots of drawers for clothing and the like. Kitchen is well-stocked, modern and huge. The entire hotel was spotless inside and out. The complementary breakfast was good with some decent choices (including a waffle maker). This was my first stay at a Residence Inn and I must admit, this property set the bar very high. Did I mention sparkling clean?
The staff couldnt have been any nicer from the time we called on arrival until check-out. Most hotels have the traditional continental breakfast, but this one surpassed others Ive been to by far. We were only in town for a short stay, but I would definitely staff at this location again. The room was clean from corner-to-corner with plenty of space. The pool was the perfect temperature for a nighttime swim after a long day of travel and business.
The room was great! and clean. The hotel is located right off the highway which was very convenient after a long drive. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They also had a nice breakfast with several choices hot and cold. I would definitely stay there again if I am ever in Dublin.
The staff were very friendly. They asked us if we needed a pack and play as we were walking in with a car seat. So nice! Breakfast was fresh and everything was stocked. They brought more towels to the pool as soon as we asked. The rooms are large, clean, and very pretty with all the updates. We really enjoyed this hotel.
Very new and modern rooms. Bathroom was nicely sized and there was even a mirror and table outside of bathroom to help facilitate multiple people getting ready. Other than the hotel not being too well marked to get too, easier to look for Hyde Park and turn in from there, everything was GREAT. We didnt use the fitness or pool area but they looked very nice and was disappointed I didnt have time to try them out. Lobby was very spacious with TV and computers.
We stayed four days at this hotel and not only was it a great location but the hotel itself is excellent. Very welcoming staff and the room was well layed out, had everything we needed - clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet probably the best weve had. We will definitely return next time we are in the area!
Accolades all around. From the design/efficiency of the common area to the layout/functionality/brightness of the suite. Hotel was hosting a number of families, yet it was really quiet and other than at breakfast, not noticeable. The breakfast staff handled the crowds well, the food was delicious and selection was excellent. There even was soy milk for my coffee. Thank you to the staff and management for a relaxing stay.
My overnight stay at the hotel was wonderful. My family and I were on the first floor. The room feels luxurious with your own kitchen and two television sets. The master bedroom is in its own room. Not in the same room as kitchen and couch. Which was a plus. I was able to swim in the nice pool as well. Which is right inside, and next to the outdoor basketball court. Next to the pool in the inside is a nice workout room. Where I also got to work out. The breakfast food was great as well. My overnight stay at the hotel overall was great and relaxing! I would highly recommend.
My wife and I stayed this past weekend at the Residence Inn and had a fantastic experience. Stephanie took extremely good care of us. She exemplifies the core values of Marriott and should be corporately recognized for her excellence. She checked us in early and upgraded our room to do so - which was extremely nice. She followed up with us to ensure our check in experience was to our satisfaction and even greeted us the following morning and was asking how our trip was. This kind of experience is what weve received when weve stayed at the J.W. or Ritz. thank you Stephanie for an awesome stay! Highly recommend this hotel.
This was a great hotel to stay while on business. The room was very nice, great flat screen LG TV and huge walk in shower. I also enjoyed that nightly the hotel offered complimentary dinner. One night it was all you can eat burgers and beer, the next night was fish. In addition to dinner, the breakfast was also very solid and best of all, free. The next time I am in the Dublin area, I will not hesitate to stay here again.
My company forced me to stay here due to some company kickback to save 1 dollar a day. The hotel that I had to cancel for this craphole was another marriott property that actually cared and served breakfast, took the time to thank me for being a titanium member and all the other things you would expect. This POS hotel told me that there was a state requirement saying they couldnt serve breakfast....LIES! The hotel management is using CoVid as an excuse to provide poor service and should not be tolerated. Book somewhere else!!!!!!
I travel extensively and am a Platinum Marriott member. When I rent a hotel room I expect to be able to use it when I need to. I expect basics like dish towels, soap and coffee in a residence inn property. I expect that if I leave for work at 0630 and return at 1430 and I’ve asked that my room be serviced during that time so I am able to come back and do my work paperwork and relax after a long day that that is done. I expect not to be kicked out of my room for carpet cleaning on the only day I haven’t worked in two weeks A weekend day!. ( this after I left to run errands in the morning for two hours and asked that it be done while I was gone.
This place has their act together. This is a new hotel in the Dublin area. I stayed at the hotel for a friends wedding. The groom, a groomsman, and my self stayed in one of the bigger rooms and it was plenty of room for three adult males. The staff also accommodated us really well and let us checking around 1230. I would definitely recommend this place.
I am so disappointed. This location was filthy. I realize we are recently post-Covid and they seemed short staffed but dont accept reservations until you are ready. There was mold on my shower curtain and nail clippings on the floor.....to hit the highlights I didnt ask to change rooms because there was never anyone at the front desk, my stay was short and frankly...based on what I could see in the rest of the building....I had no hope a new room would be an improvement. I expect more from Marriott.
Very nice hotel. Check in was a breeze. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Fast internet. Only minor issue was that the showers were warm but not hot in the mornings. Evening showers were nice and hot. They need to take a look at water heaters. Id book again. Nice value. Staff was extremely friendly.
We loved our visit. The hotel was very clean, as well as the room. The staff was there to serve as well! The breakfast was great, something for everyone in the family. The manager was there to serve and was very attentive, helping anywhere he could! The only issue was our sheets would come undone off the mattress. Anytime I am down in the area, I will stay here.
They have a very nice pool because it is big, and has enough room for people to swim freely. Also, they have plenty of towels and chairs by the pool. The basketball hoop is tremendous because it has a great rim and backboard. My favorite part of the hotel though has to be the food. The breakfast was the best I had in a hotel for a while! Eggs, cereal, and the waffles were just amazing and a great kick start to the day. The front desk always treated us with respect and smiles. I would not doubt myself in going back there!
The microwave appeared to have never been cleaned. There was an awful stench coming from the refrigerator that made you gag every time you went into the kitchen area. Most of the hallways smelled like backed up pipes and some sort of sewage problem. The staff was very very helpful. The complimentary continental breakfast was decent and there were many choices. There was not a lot of parking and at times we had to park pretty far away. The hotel was close to the event we were attending so location was nice.
Ive stayed at this location before, with no issues, but its typically a couple of years between stays. During our most-recent stay (March, 2019), we observed that our room hadnt been properly cleaned, probably in quite some time. There were dust and hair accumulations in corners and under furniture. Personal items from previous guests (including their food on the cookware and toiletry items under the bed) were left for us to discover. The sleeper sofa still had linens from a previous guest, and pillow cases were covered with hair upon check-in. The front-desk staff was friendly, and swapped-out dirty items one-by-one as we discovered them. They didnt seem particularly surprised, concerned, or apologetic, leading me to believe that theyve become accustomed to these conditions. Since this is a nice property in a nice location, with nice amenities, Im hoping that they can resolve these issues.
Stayed here for 4.5 months on company assignment and then another few times thereafter. Every time I have stayed here I have had an excellent experience. The staff, albeit small, is very friendly and always accommodating. Brian, Lisa, and Stephanie always treat me like family and work hard to make sure I am comfortable. They always come by to make sure I had a comfortable stay. The hotel is relatively new, built sometime around 2015 or something. It has all the amenities you would expect: gym, breakfast every morning (not the greatest but edible), free coffee, gym, computers/printers, WiFi and swimming pool. To sweeten the deal, you have a patio with fireplace/couches, they offer 3 small dinners/happy hour a week that are decent, and cable TV with HBO.The rooms are fairly equipped and always very clean. Because this is a pseudo-extended stay hotel, they have larger bathrooms and kitchens furnished with dishwashers, microwaves, and full-size refrigerators. No ovens though, so dont bring anything to bake. Basic silverware, cutlery, and cookware is standard in every room. They also have some kind of grocery delivery service, although I never used it. Overall, its not a fancy hotel and the building/furniture is kind of cheap feeling, but it is neat, safe and everything works and smells good.Pricing is typically around $100/night for a 1BR, approximately, depending on the week or weekend. There are a number of good restaurants and other amenities nearby, especially across the river.I had a great time at this hotel and was very pleased. Id recommend this to anyone passing by or here for the long stay.
We have stayed here before, and didn’t encounter problems. The room was not cleaned until we called about it, and then only had the bathroom cleaned. The dining area was not wiped off from the day before. I never figured out how the warming pans could be steaming, but the food was not hot! This was a holiday stay, but we have stayed during holidays before and it was much better than this time. For the price that was charged, this was a disappointment.
Nice, clean hotel. Up-to-date with outstanding staff. Very well run, even when booked solid. Will stay again when in the area. Be sure to check out the small town of Dublin down the street. Cute, walkable area with plenty of food choices. Nice date area or family walk area. Hotel close to everything. Nice being so close to the Columbus loop highway system.
We enjoyed our stay. Its close to historic Dublin, which is great for dinner and shopping, and the more modern/standard fare Tuttle Crossing. Its also tucked away enough that we werent caught in too much traffic from either. Breakfast is always a good spread and the staff is friendly. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and were happy to find that the bathroom was separate from the bedroom (a big win!). Residence Inn never disappoints. Great stay.
Overall was not pleased with the room quality. Wife and I frequently visit Columbus to visit family (2-3x a year). We have two young children and are always looking for 1 or 2 bed room suites to make nap/night time sleep easier. Room was a little dirty under couch and some of the dishes.
This is a newly built hotel opened 6/15. Suites are beautifully designed, spacious and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was the standard Residence Inn breakfast which is very complete with eggs, sausage, yogurt... Only down side is the view from the room faced the back of a shopping center. Otherwise a superb experience!
I was part of a team brought in from around the country to assist in settling hurricane Matthew catastrophe claims for a major insurance carrier. It was my employers choice to put us up at the Residence Inn for the duration, and what a great choice it was!I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of the facility, the wonderful breakfast meals and mixer surprises, the awesome exercise room and some of the best staff I have ever encountered. Id particularly like to thank Brian and Helen for always making me feel welcome and appreciated. They were awesome! I didnt catch the names of several other folks that Id encountered during my stay, but honestly, I never met anyone that I didnt think deserved a well-earned thank you from me. The room was also always impeccable when I returned each day. If I ever get called upon to spend time in the Columbus area again, I will insist that the Residence is my home away from home.So THANK YOU to you and your staff for a most enjoyable 16-day experience!
I have stayed at this location several times with consistent great service, free internet and parking, and comfortable surroundings. The housekeeping staff has been spot on with daily housekeeping and replenish supplies as items are used. The staff have been friendly, courteous, respectful, and helpful. The beds are comfortable with flat screen TVs for easy viewing. Would recommend this hotel
This was a leisure trip to the Columbus area with my sister in law to visit my son who resides here. I cannot say enough good things about this Residence Inn! They really made us feel important and valued right at Check-in. In our two bedroom suite the master bedroom’s bathroom was amazing. Super comfortable bed! I’m very fussy about cleanliness and this hotel surpassed my expectations. I’ll most definitely be back!
This is a new hotel, with a nicely decorated lobby and a great breakfast with superb service in the breakfast area. However, the bathroom wasnt suficiently clean. There were hairs in the shower and when I went to use the lotion, which I assumed would have been brand new, hair came out of the bottle. The mattress was comfortable, but the pillows were awful. They were overstuffed and kept me awake with a soar neck.
The stay was originally good until the hotel notified me that i left my playstation remote controller at the hotel, they emailed me stating they would hold the remote for me and I attempted to retrieve the remote and the hotel manager TERESA HINKLE stated she donated the remote contoller. How do you donate something that you advised you would hold for someone? Basically the manager TERESA HINKLE IS A THEIF AND STOLE MY REMOTE I HAVE EMAILS ON RECORD I WILL BE REPORTING THIS HOTEL TO THE BBB! DO NOT STAY HERE THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WORD!!!!
My family checked in to the Residence Inn after rushing to Dublin, OH for a family emergency. We had no idea our stay would stretch to 3 weeks. Our stay was very comfortable at a difficult time. It was wonderful to come back to the same suite every night after a tough day. The evening social events were relaxing. The pool was a bonus.
Our family of three (infant) stayed for a night, and it was perfect! Very clean and spacious. Easy check in and out, and the hot breakfast was great! I especially liked the large bathroom and clean, comfortable bed. We would certainly stay again and will look for Residence Inns when in need of accommodations in the future.
This hotel was very clean, well maintained with a lot of amenities. The staff was very friendly with the manager Brian being excellent. He was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The young man that was taking care of the great breakfast was very friendly and kept the are very clean. The hotel chain must have put a lot of work into picking out these employees because they were top notch.
Enjoyed our stay very much! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The hotel is very modern and well maintained! The breakfast was very good and satifying! Breakfast had a nice selection of food! We were traveling with our German Shepherd and he also enjoyed his stay! Highly recommend a stay at this hotel!
The inside of the hotel was fantastic a d very clean but unfortunately there were a bunch of smokers on the outside patio so we were unable to enjoy that either in the evening or the morning. Very disappointing as there are no ashtrays out there and there was over 100 cigarette butts strewn on the patio. They definitely need to designate a small smoking area and keep the larger area of the patio available for the non smoking patrons.
By far one of best experiences at a hotel Ive ever experienced. The hotel staff, especially Lisa and Brian, went above and beyond for our group of 7 families in town for a dance competition. Will be our hotel of choice the next time we are staying in or around Columbus. Everything was clean from the pool to the breakfast area.
Rooms are clean and staff is super friendly! Brian was very helpful and attentive to all of my parties needs. The pool is clean and the facility is well kept. The basket ball court is also well maintained.Breakfast and WiFi is included in your stay, however this location does not have the Netflix/Internet activated TVs. This location is only 2 years old and it shows - feels brand new!If you are looking to stay here, give Brian a call! He will make sure you are taken care of!
This Residence Inn is fantastic! We have been to Columbus a couple of times for volleyball tournaments and are generally traveling with a large group and it is always hectic and tiring. The location is in great shape - super clean and spacious. Breakfast was nice every morning. The staff was accommodating and extremely friendly. Really want to thank Jeff and Brian - front desk folks for their excellent customer service. They were always helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay one of the best that we have had in Columbus.Love how modern the place and the beds are really comfortable!
I love Marriott Residence Inn in general. Their spacious rooms have a convenient kitchen, a bedroom, a living room, a sofa, and a desk... every essential you need. Sometimes, I wonder if I can actually live here. This particular Residence Inn in Dublin has a nice spacious bathroom, which is a big plus. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
I had an amazing 4-night stay at this location. Marriott is family. However, this location provided the best service. I felt as if I was at home my entire stay. My husband had to literally pull me out of bed every morning so I wouldt miss breakfast. I want to give a special thanks to Brian (front desk manager I believe). He was the icing on the cake for us. He went out of his way every time he saw us to see if we wanted anything. I know he was doing his job. But he went above and beyond. My husband and I will definitely make this Marriott home anytime we travel to Ohio. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. BTW: Breakfast is great and the fact that there is a Dry Cleaners (pretty pricey though) and a Kroger around the corner is a plus.
I moved over to this hotel from another local hotel mainly because of the friendliness of the staff. Everyone is so kind and helpful. The rooms are amazing too. I love the huge showers! I am in Ohio on business for the next 3 months and Ive already made reservations for the entire time. I dont want to go anywhere else. Great place to stay!
Excellent choice for overnight stay. The 2 bedroom/2 bath suite we stayed in was larger and more comfortable than any hotel room I have ever experienced. Price was very reasonable for the size & comfort of this room. Would definitely rent again if we return to Dublin.
We travel on a regular basis and stay at primarily at Marriott hotels and fill with other chains. Of all hotels, this was the cleanest, friendliest and most modern. The updates were not only attractive, they were smart. The staff was welcoming. I will stay at this hotel again!
THIS WAS LIKE HOME, BUT WITH A MAID!! A co-worker recommended this property, and now I see why! Excellent service, up to date amenities, spacious and quiet, next to grocery store/pharmacy/hardware/eateries. EZ access to major highways and no stupid parking charges!! We held a small business meeting on site, and the staff went above and beyond to service our needs. This is a business travelers paradise. Suitable for families, but not close to many leisure activites. I will stay here every time I am in Columbus from now on.
Once you find the right place to enter the parking pot, the rooms and entire facility are clean, spacious and as my daughter says, best hotel room ever! Preparing for the breakfast rush, however, seems like a foreign concept. when we arrived for brakfast, shortly after 8 am, there were no plates, no bowls, 3/4s of the hot food plates were empty.settled for an unripe banana one of the 3 last remaining cartons of yogurt.
My stay. I am a loyal Marriott Gold rewards customer and always try to stay at Marriott hotels for work and leisure, so when passing through Dublin and found a pet friendly hotel it was an easy decision to stay there. I could not find any information on the website on what the fee would be to bring my pet but since my room was only $108/night and based off previous experience I figured it could not be that bad. When I got to the hotel and found out that the pet fee was $100 per night (almost the same fee as the room!) I was so upset I wanted to just cancel the reservation and stay somewhere else, but since it was past the cancellation time I was going to be charged for the room either way, so essentially, I was forced into paying the highly absurd pet fee. The reason I was given for the high price was that when pets stay in the rooms the rooms require a deep cleaning. Do rooms not get a deep cleaning after every guest regardless of if they have a pet? When the assistant manager told me the pet fee was listed on the website I asked him to show it to me and it took him at least 5 minutes to find it, so it was obviously well hidden. I expressed my concerns in the survey after the stay and received a very cursory apology that I was unhappy from the manager with a request to come back. The room and facilities itself was nice.
This is a new property, conveniently located off Interstate 270, in Dublin. We had a good experience there for five nights in December. Very comfortable suite and very responsive staff. The hot breakfast buffet in the morning is also good to get you started. Conveniently located next to a bank, Kroger grocery store and a CVS drugstore also makes it handy. It shares a parking lost with a Steakhouse restaurant, so it requires a sharp eye to turn correctly into the parking lot the first time.
Brian at the front desk is wonderful. He always make sure that his guests are all well taken care of. He is a great asset to this team and his customer service skills that Ive witnessed on more accounts I can count, are outstanding!! He kicks butt with all that he does and he makes sure everyone is satisfied before they leave the front desk!!!No matter how hectic the situation might be, he puts in the extra efforts most places wouldnt bother to take, and make sure it is taken care of to the best of his abilities. Bravo Brian!!! :)
This new property in Dublin with easy access to 270 and all that Dublin has to offer cant be beat. I have stayed in other Marriott properties in the area and the refreshed decor make this hotel a tremendous upgrade from the others nearby. My experience was made exceptional by Brian, the night manager that was elated for my Marriott patronage including my use of the new Marriott rewards card and my certificate to book the room. This went a long way with me as Brian was someone who cares about how he represents his hotel and it showed.
Me and my family really enjoyed our stay here. I will admit, it was very difficult finding how to get into the hotel. But once there, everything was great! We really enjoyed the breakfast and evening bratwurst! Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will stay here again if I return to the Columbus area.
My husband and I love staying at this Residence Inn. It is dog friendly, which is our main concern. It is also a very quiet hotel, you dont hear every sound outside your room. We really love the location too. Being so close to Old Dublin makes it easy to find a great restaurant.
Was here with my husband on a business trip. Nice hotel. Brian, the front desk manager was absolutely awesome. He went above and beyond what he was supposed to do. He made my husband and I feel like we were very special guests! Close to the mall and lots of wonderful restaurants.
Had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn in Dublin - OH. Spacious room, comfortable bed, clean premises, helpful staff, and great breakfast and mixers. Great location next to a shopping center and restaurants. Also not too far from highway. Overall, this Residence Inn is a great option when staying in Dublin OH because the location is convenient to shops, major highways, and restaurants. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and their continental breakfasts are open to all guests and offer more variety than certain M-Lounges.
I have had several family members work for Marriott. I have been staying in their hotels for 20+ years. The cleanliness was horrible at this location. Had to ask for bed to recleaned. My son and I suffer from allergies and this hotel allows pets to stay in the rooms, we were both sneezing all night.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dublin. We attended the Irish festival, and this property was perfect for it. We were within walking distance, breakfast included in the morning, and had everything we needed in our room. It was basically a studio apartment versus a hotel room.
Cleanest, nicest hotel I have stayed in for a while. Very spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there on my future trips. They are also in a great location, close to great restaurants and good shopping and they have good free breakfast.
Ive stayed here for work the past couple of months, and really enjoy the experience. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the hotel serves dinner during the week (free beer and wine!) that keep the evenings interesting. This location is very close to Krogers for groceries and other surrounding shops/restaurants, and just a stop light away from the freeway for easy access to just about anywhere in the Columbus area. Make sure you visit downtown Dublin just around the corner, a very quaint and walk friendly town!
I have stayed at this location several times over the past few months and we were satisfied each visit. The General Manager, Jodie, and staff aim to please the guest, the facility is very clean and centrally located to many restaurants and venues and its actually the best Residence Inn by Marriott I have seen in awhile!
Incredibly disappointed and disgusted with the Residence Inn Dublin. I found bugs on most of my walls in my room, both bedroom and kitchen. The manager, an older woman with short brown hair (maybe Terry?) said Id get bonus points if I didnt tell anyone, and the points still havent shown up. She tried to switch me rooms, but there were bugs in that room as well. She also said they had a problem with Indian moths after an Indian family stayed there but Thats expected when those people stay here. Quite the surprise when the infestation was not the most disgusting part of my stay, the blatant bigotry was.
This property was set up with the business traveler in mind but also accommodates people on pleasure visits very well. The desks in room are large enough to spread out plenty of documents while holding your laptop and there are plenty of easily accessible plugs to charge all of your electronics on top of the desk. The pool and exercise room are adaquate and the propertys location gets one close to many attractions.
This is a great place the location was right off the highway. The rooms were very neat and clean, breakfast was great the staff was very accommodating when we lost power at the hotel due to an automobile accident. The lobby very was very friendly we will definitely be staying here again.
The residence inn is our favorite place to stay when we go to Columbus for an overnight! Its the perfect distance from anywhere we need to be and is always clean and inviting. The breakfast is delicious in the mornings and we just found out they do mixers in the evenings. We will decently be starting there again!
Just a one night date night get away with the queen. lol We had a very relaxing time. Slept very well & most certainly will check Residence Inns out again. This would be very nice for an extended stay. I used points for this stay but the normal rate was very fair for the amenities.
This was the most beautiful RI I had ever stayed in. I was staying at the RI on my way from driving with my two dogs from Atlanta to Pittsford, where I live. I wasnt there to take advantage of any local sights. it is a new RI (one year), it had great staff who were very proud of their building. There building has a beautiful choice of materials and design.
One of the best stays I’ve ever had at a hotel. Building and amenities were well taken care of and updated and Brian the manager was the most impressive manager I’ve come across. Also the only managers name I’ve remembered due to the impressive service he offered my family and in-laws.

2022-03-30We were staying with our family and after the first afternoon we had to take our daughter to Urgent Care as she was reacting adversely to their pets. We were released but could not stay with them so we made a call to The Residence Inn at 2am and Christine was just fabulous. She got us in immediately, set us up with an extra bed set and comped a bottle of water. She even walked to the other side of the hotel to let us in the back door. Then, she called up to the room to make sure everything was perfect. We had a TREMENDOUSLY positive experience with Christine and the whole team over the three nights. Highly recommend!

2022-03-22Teresa is a darling—my family, pets, and I stayed here as a stop along the way for our move across country; she worked with us to find the best place to park our trailer and even upgraded our room to make our stay more comfortable. This is a great, clean hotel with a nice breakfast and a friendly, helpful front desk and back of house staff that we would stay in again (and probably will as we have family nearby). Many thanks to Teresa and the other staff for what was our best hotel stay along many on this long, cross-country journey.

2022-02-13Everything was great: clean rooms, nice breakfast. However, the pool wasnt working, understandable except we stayed here 2 months ago and it wasnt working then either.... Very grumpy mermaid in our room. Pool toys in the tub aint the same.

2021-10-12Overall, its a decent place to stay. Its difficult to find parking when theyre full. People from the steak house next door park over there making it difficult to find a parking space at night. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean when we arrived. We did not have any housekeeping service the 3 days we were there. Not sure what happened there. The breakfast was decent. Nothing spectacular but they had enough variety that anyone should be able to find enough to eat. The bed was comfortable. The sofa and pull out sleeper are not comfortable. If you can avoid it, I would do so. The bathroom was very nice. The shower was nice and big. Plenty of storage between the drawers and the closet. The desk was good. It had plugs to plug my laptop into as well as our charging cords. It was a decent stay. The room was quiet. I didnt hear any noise from neighboring rooms which is unusual but very welcome. I would probably stay there again. I will warn you though, its a little tricky to find the first time. Look for the driveway for the Steakhouse and pull in there. Then youll see the hotel to the left.

2021-10-25The receptionist was very professional and informative regarding our stay and provided information regarding the bonvoy member. I travel so it was nice to know about that vip option. The hotel itself was clean and the room was beyond what I expected. It was spacious, clean and definitely looked like a studio apartment. The kitchen came with all the kitchen ware that you would need if youre staying there for a while. Theres a grocery store right beside the hotel. Theres also outside a grill or cookout area for you to enjoy as well as an indoor pool. I would recommend this to anyone.

2021-08-10I have stayed at this hotel several times in previous years, and always enjoyed the service and breakfast. This year was different, as our room was not cleaned at all during our stay. We tracked down a maid to get additional toilet paper, trash bags, and shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was a variety of items to be selected from behind the front desk, including bagels, hard-boiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches, and packaged danish and granola bars. In previous years a nice breakfast buffet was provided.

2021-08-17Hotel itself is ok, but the staff is excellent. Rooms arent well stocked, but if you call the desk, they will bring it if they have it. Our bathroom room also has an ant problem. Bathroom shelves are almost all uneven, so hard to keep some items on. Rooms was clean and good layout, but are starting to show wear. Pool is nice and warm.Staff has been extremely helpful and friendly. Very responsive and helpful. 5+ star staff.

2021-07-21The room was beautiful, with a full kitchen. The shower was wonderful! It was a relaxing stay didnt have to worry about anything. Im not sure if its due to COVID but they were short on extra towels and bedding and breakfast was just a to go bag.

2021-07-13This was the PERFECT hotel for my family to stay in! The room was spacious. The service was so nice for us. My son really enjoyed the pool and for me I loved the Grab and go breakfast. We were close to a bunch of Columbus activities. I can’t wait to find other things to do just so I can stay at this hotel!
