Simple move in process, excellent quality for the price, absolutely loved that they thought to leave napkins, toilet paper, soap and a welcome set upon move in, these items came in handy while waiting on things to be unpacked and the bottle of wine was so nice after a day of unpacking. Just a really nice community overall, extremely happy!
We lived at Redwood for a year and if we didnt buy a house we would still be there! Kim always had a smile on her face. She was professional and helpful at all times. Bob the maintenance person was the same way! You could count on him to fix any problems in a timely manner and also with a smile! Even though Redwood is a little more expensive it is so worth the money! The apartments felt more like a home and are very stylish. The neighbors were always friendly and I always enjoyed walking my dog through the neighborhood as well. It was a great introduction for a new Ohio resident!
I LOVE living in this community! The staff is awesome. Dillon came to fix my issues and he was in and out, not even 15 minutes in my home. Very professional!
We have lived at Redwood for about a year and a half. The experience has been nothing but positive. Kim is wonderful and extremely helpful! The location is great. The sound proofing of the units is really good too. The garages are spacious, even on the one car units. I still have enough room to work on my car and do basic maintenance. Whenever someone comes to visit they are always most impressed by the huge pantry. If you like to cook and have lots of kitchen gear, this is the place for you! Important side note for my fellow nerds: my internet here is 100mbps through spectrum for their standard package ($60/month.) Not sure if they offer speed upgrades, but thats enough for me.
We moved into these apartments earlier this year after graduation and have had nothing but wonderful experiences with both the apartment and the staff.The apartments are well thought out, spacious, and clean. The open floor plan they all share make the living area feel spacious, and the high ceilings only add to that feeling. The AC/heat for the apartment works amazingly well with the space, and after past apartment experiences, its so nice not having to deal with different parts of the house not getting the airflow they need to stay a livable temperature!And the staff is just wonderful. Kim and Bob are an absolute powerhouse of a management team, always making sure that anything we need is taken care of quickly and properly the first time. The community events that are planned are fun, enjoyable, and really give off the sense that its a neighborhood, rather than a collection of units.The price is a little on the high side for what our budget was, but were so happy we chose to live here. I dont expect to rent from anywhere else.Owen
Redwood told us that they would refund our deposit, yet they never did. Weve called many times and finally reached someone a month and a half ago who again said they would mail us a refund, yet we still havent received it. They were helpful when we were interested, but unfortunately now have been extremely difficult to work with.
Redwood Apartments was an easy decision when I started looking in Fairborn. I needed an apartment that would accommodate an easier lifestyle for my grandparents. Kim was so helpful with making sure I completed the application process correctly and she expediting everything to help get them in the apartment in such a short notice. My grandparents are very happy with everything their unit has to offer and look forward to a easier lifestyle that Redwood offers. My grandparents also love that they were able to bring their dog Barney with them as well. Redwood really makes it feel like home.
We have lived here for a year. It has been very nice living here. Kim and Bob are very attentive. Snow removal and lawn maintenance is taken care of. For the size of the apartment, there is an incredible amount of storage! The attached 2-car garage is a big plus. Safe, quiet neighborhood. A great place to live. If it werent for us deciding to purchase a home, we definitely would have stayed here longer.
Redwood apartments in Fairborn were the perfect fit for our needs. We were looking for a place to live that had attached garages and no stairs to climb. We found the perfect fit at Redwood apartments. Newly built, Modern design and they feel more like a home than an apartment. Kim and the team have been excellent providing regular updates on the rental application process from start to finish. They have answered every question we have sent them in a timely manner.
The community and management are excellent. Nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. Has a great small community presence. Apartment homes are very modern, spacious, well maintained, with excellent amenities. Like new. Very convenient to Shopping, Restaurants, the Mall, WPAFB and the Highway. I would Highly recommend Redwood Apartment homes. Kim and her team are great in assisting with getting you started with the lease and any updates needed to be made. Bob is the resident maintenance technician and is very reachable, personable and resolved the very few requests I submitted in a timely manner. They are both added benefits to this community!
I went to the leasing office today to look into a new apartment. I fell in love! Such a great experience today! Who I believe was the leasing manager was SO nice and extremely helpful. I didn’t have plans to move until December, but now I’ll be moving into the area in October! Such a nice area, staff, and I’m really happy on this decision and for the next 15 months.
We recently moved into Redwood Fairborn after transferring from another Redwood community. The apartment manager at Redwood Fairborn, Kim, did a great job in helping us to get everything set up and ready, even with a couple of last minute changes that we had come up with timing. The apartment was clean and in good condition, which was greatly appreciated! The community is clean and well cared for and seems to be very quiet with minimal traffic (only community members). We were very grateful to have such a seamless move-in experience over to the Fairborn community!
Redwood is by far one of the best apartments I have lived in. It may be a little on the high side in terms of rent, but you really do get your worth out of it. Some of my favorite features were the open floor plan, the really high ceilings, energy efficient, attached garage, and tons of closets (one of which was a walk-in pantry!). We never had any real big problems while living in our unit. If there was anything wrong (garage sensor issue, smoke sector battery, or light bulb needing change were our minor issues) maintenance was quick to answer and fix it. Management is very kind and welcoming; always trying to bring the community together with events.We were truly sad to have to move and hope to be able to come back in the future if we end up back in this area.
Amazing management! I moved from out of state and Kim was so welcoming and helpful during the move process. These are one of the best apartments in the area. I really wanted to feel at home. Having a garage and walking straight into your house makes all the difference. I am glad I was able to move here.
The maintenance technician stated who he was and why he came. He was very polite and professional. Did his job quickly and efficiently. He took all of the packaging and old light fixtures with him.
Leaving a very honest review of this place. Ive been a resident for 1 year now. The duplexes are so spacious and come with a kitchen pantry (walk in) and feel like a mini home. The single car garage is nice and gives you enough space for 1 car as well. They are on top of many things like maintainence. If the AC breaks, or fridge light turns off, or if your smoke detector battery dies and goes off, they are on top of it, and usually come within the same day to fix (thanks Bob). Kim also helped me a lot during the move out process with access to waste management for furniture...etc.The only negative thing I have to say is there are spiders, cave crickets and beetles during the months of June-September. When its hot, the bugs come in. I mean, like a couple ones every day.***Update- Apparently they will pay for pest control once a month. (Thanks Kim!)The reason for the bug problem is that they just built these duplexes 2 years ago in an area that was farmland/crops...so they kind of took over their home.
I was at your property recently and had a wonderful tour with one of your property managers by the name of Kimberly. She was so helpful and just down home friendly. While I fell in love with your apartments and your community friendliness I just have to admit that at the present time it’s just out of my price range. Maybe sometime in the future I can look again. Redwood is perfect for my elderly parents. They needed a place that was safe, comfortable and accessible. Kim is always there to help with anything they need.The maintenance man Bob goes above and beyond to make sure everything is in perfect condition. Redwood is the perfect fit for this stage of my parent’s lives.

I had just lost my husband and I needed to downsize our house was too big for me to handle by myself started looking online and driving Fairborn and I found this beautiful place the leasing manager Kim was amazing to work with. She made everything so easy and I feel comfortable and safe here
I moved in about 4 months ago and couldnt be happier-- the place is nice and the office staff and maintenance staff are extremely responsive and helpful. Love the ceiling fans in all but the guest room, granite counter tops, painted walls, stainless steel appliances and massive walk-in pantry. Plenty of storage space as well.
I could not be happier with this place! The apartment is gorgeous and super spacious and homey. Kim has been very helpful and kind with our moving process and took away a lot of the stress that comes with moving to a new place. Super happy to be here.
We moved in in March and everyone has been very welcoming. Kim walked us through the move in process. Nice and quiet community. Any maintenance requests we put in were taken care of very quickly. Would highly recommend Fairfield Oakes!

Just moved in. Apartment and interactions with on-site personnel are great.The on-line payment website has confusing aspects, like showing payments that dont line up with reat, and some confusing instructions.
I love the attached garage and not having stairs. Maintenance is very responsive and helpful as well as the girls in the office.

2022-03-01The moment we walked into the leasing office door we felt very welcome. Kristin was great. Very knowledgeable.. answered all of our questions, explained to us the protocols, etc. We then toured the most amazing apartment. We were so thrilled with the open floor plan and the 2 car attached garage. Not only were we excited about the warm greeting, the beautiful apartment...the area reminds me of an actual neighborhood and not a cluttered apartment complex. We knew right then and there we wanted to make Redwood our new home. We went through the very easy application process, then when we received our approval and welcome letter....we were that much more excited. Cannot hardly wait to move. Thank you to Kristin..our neighborhood ambassador 😊

2022-01-01Nice place to live, if living long term be prepared for policies to change every year or so. Also, get ready for electrical issues, and other random problems. Its to be expected with how fast and poorly these apartments were built. What really makes this a wonderful place to live is the stellar maintenance, Bob is the best!

2022-06-06We loved this property at the beginning, then when we got orders to move out of the area and had to move the company became a nightmare. The staff doesnt answer the phone and it takes days to receive a returned call if you ever do.

2021-10-22I visited this redwood a few weeks ago and I must say these apartments are amazing, very open and well kept. Although they unfortunately did not have anything available for when I needed it I thought it was necessary to write a review due the the customer service, which was top notch!!! I toured with Tessa… This young lady was just the best. She was so patient, so kind and so helpful. She answered all my questions and even gave me more information then any other places that’s I’ve toured. I haven’t had customer service this good in a long time so if I wasn’t moving here for the incredible homes I would be moving here for her incredible customer service!

2022-02-04We have lived here several years and wouldnt consider renting anywhere else. The floor plan is well thought out and gives a very spacious feel. Love the closet space, big pantry, single story living, and attached garage. Maintenance requests are completed quickly and done right the first time. The staff is friendly on a day to day basis and always easy to talk with about concerns. We highly recommend Redwood Fairborn.

2021-09-20The pros: The high ceilings are great, the open concept kitchen and living area is also fantastic and the company is super pet friendly, only charging one flat fee for up to 3 pets. It’s less than 10 mins from base and there’s an awesome supermarket less than a mile away that has everything a chef could need.The cons: Let me start off by saying the maintenance staff at Redwood is exceptional, but with a brand new build and as much as you pay, ($1550 after a $50 military discount) I’d expect things like carpeting to stay put (kept coming off the tack strip, even after maintenance fixed it), brand new appliances not to break (went through two refrigerators, first one just stopped working, and FOUR different ice machines) and kitchen faucet hoses not be so badly frayed that it wouldn’t retract anymore in just 2.5 years. Again, maintenance fixed every single issue I ever had, but it’s not worth paying the extra out of pocket, (if you’re military, the BAH at Wright-Pat doesn’t cover it.) These builds look great upon initial glance, but on a more thorough inspection, you can see they were quickly built with the cheap materials and for that reason, I can’t justify the hefty price tag.
