Well first off let me say that the maintenance team and Jessica in the office are great. This review isnt a reflection of them. Redwood itself its extremely over priced and built with cheap materials. When your AC runs be prepared to turn your TV up to the max because the air intake is that loud. If you dont renew for 15 months they increase your rent by hundreds of dollars if you choose a shorter lease. Also, dont ever expect your security deposit back. You pay minimum 1500 dollars a month and then when you move out Redwood sends you a bill for over a $1000 dollars. Like where the hell did all that rent money go?? Bottom line is Jessica is great. Maintenance guy is great but this company sucks. DO NOT RENT FROM REDWOOD.
Every time I have had a maintenance request, they are always handled so quickly and efficiently. I usually note what time is best and they always arrive at that time. most recently the smoke detector battery was dying and had that awful beeping all night and he came right in the morning when I requested. He was also very nice and friendly and greeted my dog, she loved that! 😊 But I genuinely appreciate the quickness they handle these requests!
Wow. Jessica the property manager is top shelf. Ive visited a few communities, websites and filled out applications/paperwork and conversed with a few different site contacts. I can honestly say that Jessica and the Redwood team have the smoothest process Ive seen, start to finish. Very impressed.
We moved to Redwood Blacklick 1.5 years ago from out of state to be near grandchildren in Gahanna. We actually had to wait until the unit was completed. It was a wonderful transition to purchasing our new home. The apartment was spacious, well equipped & the neighborhood was private.The staff was great ! The rent escalation was a factor in moving forward to purchase a property.....but that would happen at any rental property.
Jessica was awesome! Everything I bought to her attention was taken care of ASAP. If I had not been on a temporary stop as we waited for our home to be finished, this could have been our last move. Stop by and visit, then unload your truck and stay awhile 😊Mervin and Sandy Hines
I used to live at the Redwood in Delaware for 2 years. We are considering selling our home and moving to Blacklick area and absolutely were impressed with how Jessica was on top of everything, showed us all of our options that we could do, while transitioning to building a new home. Redwood at Blacklick is such a beautiful community. I truly love my home. The staff is AWESOME. Both Jessica and Shannon are so welcoming and kind. They are always willing to help or answer any questions. I really love our community events. The OSU game parties and the meet and greets are just added treats of this great community!C.Manigoe
I have lived all over the country and I have to say that this was the best facility I have ever lived in. The properties are beautiful and the 2 car garages are very nice. The property manager and maintenance team are great and will go above and beyond for their residents!

2022-06-01Loved my four years of living here. Very nice and quiet community. Maintenance issues were resolved right away. Jessica was always responsive and I never had any issues. I would recommend living here to anyone.

2022-06-02Great place to live but very easy to out grow. I think the notice to move should be shorten to 30 day instead of 60. No place will hold for 60 days to allow that long to take possession. Therefore I am left breaking my lease and being charge way too much.

2022-02-19Dana did an excellent job in repairing the bolt lock on my side door and replacing a warped cabinet door in the kitchen area.He also noted that two of my ceiling lights were flickering and will schedule to replace them on Monday.

2022-04-01John came prepared with a list of items we submitted upon move in and within 20 minutes he had everything taken care of giving us some lessons along the way. He was very friendly and it was easy to see he takes pride in his work.

2021-11-11Jessica was amazing, working with us from out of state, making our move - in the best part of a harrowing long - disgrace move. The apartment was even better than expected. Everything is clean, updated & truly move - in ready. There are a few minor things to fix & the service personnel responded next day and are working to make things right. Best rental experience ever!

2021-08-08Jessica is the BEST property manager and is very supportive and understanding of her tenants. If there are any concerns you may have, she finds a solution in a very timely manner. You will not be disappointed if you choose to live at this property location. Dana, one of the maintenance professionals is equally awesome! He is very prompt and precessional with his work. If there is a maintenance issue, he will not leave your unit until he has the issue resolved. These guys make a great team!!!!

2021-07-21I attempted to buy a home during a quick notice move to the Columbus area and due to a crazy market I was unsuccessful in getting a house within the timeframe I needed. I looked for rental homes and found very few options, all with high prices and of poor quality. In my search, I stumbled upon Redwood. I normally avoid living in a shared space community due to the issues with noise, common spaces not being maintained and all the other issues that go with living in a small space with a revolving door of renters. After reading the reviews, I decided to reach out to the Blacklick property. I was warmly greeted by Jessica who professionally answered all of my questions and even set up a virtual tour so that I could view the property. The place looked great and the price was fair for the market. I decided to rent but felt very skeptical. That skepticism turned out to be unfounded. The place was great. Noise was absolutely minimal, common spaces were well maintained and there was a real sense of community in the neighborhood. Jessica was extremely responsive to any inquiry and the communication on events in the neighborhood was great! Had it not been for another work related move, I certainly would have stayed longer. Move out process was extremely smooth and the communication on closing everything else was prompt and professional. Overall and in my opinion, Redwood (and Jessica) has set the standard for how a property should be managed.

2022-04-10I needed some touch up paint to paint over spackling that I had used to fill some small nail holes. I submitted the request Monday evening, and found the paint outside my front door Tuesday morning. The maintenance dept here is the best. Thank you.The staff at this community is excellent. I cant speak highly enough of the entire group.The maintenance staff resolved my problem quicklyOnce again, the maintenance staff saved my day and resolved the problem

2021-11-22I contacted emergency service because I had a breaker that kept popping off. Everytime I reset it, it popped off again. I thought it was a bad breaker, but turns out my refrigerator was going bad making the breaker pop off. Emergency Maintenance came out Friday night and didnt leave until I had a replacement refrigerator!! Poor guy didnt leave until 10:30pm, but he stayed until the job was finished. I appreciate the customer service more than words can say! He was very nice and accommodating to say the least. The peace of mind knowing that something will be taken care of ASAP is such a great feeling!
