Absolutely disgusting! Bed bugs, outlets falling out of walls, holes in walls and ceiling, smells like mold, garbage under mattress and beds, doesn’t look like they even change the bedding. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car before you stay here. This place needs shut down.
Mould growing in the bathroom shower soap dish holder tub over flow drain was broken
The room was dirty. Carpet needed vacuumed really badly. The comforter and sheets needed washed with actual soap. I did online and didnt get the room I asked for. Wanted smoking, but was put non smoking, which would be fine but the hallway smelled so strongly of weed could have gotten a 2nd hand high. The pot holes in the parking lot are horrific. I paid to stay but ended up staying two hours. It was gross.
Not the best, but also not the worse. The bed was comfortable, unlike motel 6 squeaky hard beds. Room was very cozy like and quiet, I actually enjoyed my stay. I mean for a cheap room it does the job. If your trying to be fancy or impress someone I wouldnt go here, but if u need a place to lay your head its cool.
People say they have bedbugs and roaches i seen neither staff is friendly and helpful rooms are clean and no crack pipes seen would come back no doubt people wanna knock them and talk bout them but some has never stayed at red carpet so dont talk bout what u dont know... service is excellent 👍 👍.....
Rooms need cleaned there is mold growing on the carpet around the a/c unit in the room I stayed in!!! My children also found a broken crack pipe the first night being there found moldy food under one of the beds and the male staff there are very rude!!! My husband was giving that hotel his check every week (faithfully) and because the room cost was literally his whole check and because he was short one week they told him to go to a church to get help!!!! Poor quality and poor service! Im glad we left wouldnt recommend this place for a dog!!! You would get 0 stars from me if it would let me go on to post this without giving you a star!!!
I would rate this 0 stars it was an absolute dump. Rooms were disgusting smell like engine oil and all have an ugly interior. Windows were so dirty you can barely see out of them. The beds were uncomfortable and had cigarette burns in the sheets and in the mattress and most likely have bed bugs. Do not stay at this hotel it is an absolute dump.
Absolutely disgusting! The smell in the stairs literally made me gag! Our room had no air conditioning only a broken fan! We found a condom wrapper and heard all sorts of noises! DO NOT STAY HERE! I would give 0 stars if possible! And management was rude and disrespectful! Police regularly drive through to check it out, suggested we sleep in our car!! Also mentioned we could get bed bugs and find needles!!! DISGUSTING
Mediocre customer service and extremely dirty. Lifted the sheets of the mattress and it was a horror scene. I did not stay. Left immediately once I saw the dirty mattresses. If food service has health standards so should sleep services. I feel like Ill catch something if I laid on that bed. And Im from East New York. I know poverty. This is absolutely the lowest service you can get. Save your money look elsewhere. Furthermore, they refused a refund.
For the price this place is pretty decent. We stayed weekly for a job near the there arent working ice machines but there was a pop machine in the hallway and the front desk was pretty friendly. the only thing I didnt like was the fact that the back of the hotel had a maintenance building where a guywith a million cats was hanging out all day and into the night. We had a dog so it was really annoying to take the dog out.
Please do not stay here!!! It is incredibly nasty!! For one,the picture on their website is not the picture of the hotel. Not only was the outside terrible but the inside was not fit for my dogs to stay in.. We were in our room for 5 minutes and my daughter found a condom wrapper on the floor!!! Unexcepable!!And Im pretty positive there was some prostitute stuff happening, because for the short time we were there, we heard all sorts of noise. Definitely never take your kids here!!!And no, they wouldnt refund our money!!!. The only reason I gave one star is because it wouldnt let me post this review without clicking one!!!Ps I forgot to mention that as we were standing outside in the parking lot looking for other hotels, a cop pulled up and told us to not stay there,that we most definitely would find needles and bedbugs!!

Dont stay there...dirty, dirty and dirty is all I have to say. I even found a cockroach in the bathroom. Id sleep in my car before I slept there again...Ken, you refunded my money because the a/c in the room wasnt working and the solution you offered wasnt good enough. I stayed there because frankly I had no other option since we had other rooms booked for my group. I wish I could add pictures to this comment and let them speak by themselves. Im surprised your defending the cleanliness of this place, have you not read all the other reviews??
My first clue, besides the broken windows and shredded curtains, was the bullet proof glass at the check in desk.There were holes in the walls, duct tape around the tub in place of caulk and peeling paint everywhere.When I returned the key card and cancelled my reservation, the manager became quite upset, stating that I could not cancel and would be charged anyway. He also stated, what do you expect for $40.00, the holiday inn?This is the worst hotel that I have experienced. I did not stay. He was not paid and I will never recommend Red Carpet Inn to anyone.
Oh man where do I even begin with this place? The only reason I picked this place was the price. Knew from the second I arrived I made a bad choice. The room smells of smoke and mildew. Water and smoke stains covered the curtains. The manager walked in my room at one point without knocking or knowing I was staying in that room. I woke up to several bed begs crawling all over me. Thank god I kept my bags in my car Incase of bed bugs. I went out to my car the next morning to get said belongings to change and could hear a couple fighting and what sounded like slaps and punches from the hallway. To top it all off, I saw 2 people smoking crack by my car. Don’t stay here.
My stay at the Red Carpet Inn has been very pleasant. Clean sheets and towels always offered. Laundry is done for you at your request. The rooms are clean and cozy. They offer reasonable weekly rates, and pets are allowed to join you on your vacation. Management is kind, and extremely helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this inn to anyone looking for a nice getaway!
This place needs a remodel desperately. The staff if very nice though and didnt give any problems but the air bothered my allergies horribly. There is a strange odor that over lays another bad odor. Almost like stale smoke. There is mold in the bathrooms and there is no mattress cover. I slept without the covers on just because had a bad feeling. I was tired so went with it. Didnt see any signs of bed bugs which was good. The box springs were a little grody. Looked like dried blood or mold. The television worked fine though. I wish for the sake of the workers health even too that they fix these issues with the molds and smells and the beds.
I was hoping you guys had negative stars.I came to this place cause they were no other rooms available anywhere, not knowing what kind of hell I was getting myself into. An owner who wouldn’t stop burping when talking... and entering the room without knocking. That’s just the start, the rooms were the most disgusting. I had to go to Walmart to buy so many candles, Fabreeze and Lysol just to get SOME of that smell out but it was impossible. The restroom took forever to flush with a rotten sit. I’ve been to so many places and hands down this place is the worst I’ve been please do yourself a favor from having the worst experience of your life...
The room was clean, the air conditioning worked great, the staff was friendly! Ken was so helpful & when my parents couldnt make the trip, the money that was paid for the room was refunded within a few hours. My 3 year old daughter enjoyed the room as well since they had this really cool night light in the room! my next trip to Ada, I will be using this hotel again!!!
Place is pretty gross. Only the sheets and towels looked clean. Someone elses food in fridge, bug on floor. Dirty mirror. Felt gross. Carpet sticky in places. Ended up costing us 85 bucks with the $10 charge for 40lb dog would have spent $100 And go somewhere else!
It was just a motel we stopped at for the night while traveling. We were happy they let us stay with our dog. Room didnt seem very secure. Breakfast wasnt very good. Plenty of parking, and handicapped accessable. It was ok.
Rooms are not fancy and are a little dated. But everything else makes up for it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms have mini fridge, micro, and working air conditioning. Beds are comfortable and clean. Caught housekeeping mopping the hallway this morning when we left.
We were passing through on our way home. It was easily accessible from I -75, check in was pleasant and efficient, the room was clean and quiet. Nothing fancy, but neither was the price. We slept well and moved on. The check in person (does he ever sleep??) was SO nice and above and beyond helpful when I thought I might have left my drivers license there, even walking down to our room while I was on the phone with him to check if it was there. Luckily I found it tucked behind something else, but I really appreciated knowing that the staff there was really on top of this. Thanks!
I would give them zero stars if it was an option on here. First of all I called and was told a price and then when I showed up they charged me 15 dollars more per night. When calling I told them there would be 4 adults in my room and then they charged me an extra 20 a night because one of the 4 adults brought an air mattress from home to sleep on because there was 3 guys and 1 girl. Next there was no ice in the ice machine. The bathroom outlet did not work. The knob for the heater was broken off and covered with duck tape. The shower wall was ducked taped in places. Finger nail polish all over bathroom wall. They had an old tv on the floor and charged us $150 for it because they said we broke it which is a bullshit lie. THEY WERE EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I WOULD NOT LET MY WORST ENEMY STAY THERE. IT WAS BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL ROOM I HAVE EVER SEEN
“Good value for the price!”This hotel is very economical and well kept..The guest rooms are a bit dated, But very clean and properly maintained. The Bed was New & excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful. It has a wonderful play area for the children. Restaurants are within walking distance and it is very quiet.
Been for a few weeks. When I first booked i was told it was fully hrenovated, not close. Laundry facilities (as advertised) still not available
I dont think you want to stay here! The grossest part was the shower by far. Really unusable. Unsafe! I was trying to get the cold water to go (it wouldnt at all, only hot) and a little big, like a termite or something like that little gross silver thing, crawled out of the nozzle. So then I was like no thanks! Theres some kind of mold everywhere, black bands on the bathroom floor. Front desk guy is funny, made a point of saying Ive already been billed when I made the reservation. That should have been a sign right there. Cheap though. But grosssss! Mold and bugs and the cold water doesnt work!! Floor coming up in bathroom.
Horrible place to stay in. The room service is bad!!! They didnt change my bed sheets in 1 week and a couple of days. Plus when a Shutdown work for the Husky Refinery is going on, they raise the price to $460 a week for a 2 bedroom queen. Horrible pricing!
The staff were rude and the room were nasty and there was a blood stain they just pushed the bed over on to cover up will never stay here again. Also went to get ice due to ice machine was broken they refused to give me me more than a small bag of ice that wasnt enough to fill a cup. This hotel is ran down ceiling falling apart.
It was cheap is about the only good thing it had going for it. For 49 bucks I dont expect much, but at least be clean.. turned on the air conditioner and out blew 3 cut off straws. Can only imagine what those were used for. Dirty stained towels,wobbling chairs. List goes on. For 10 bucks more go one exit down and stay at the motel 6. Its newly remodeled and very nice for its price.
I had no issues with anything. Very quiet clean place and staff was very helpful and friendly both times Ive stayed. Will definitely be staying again
The typical Indian owner who wants to maximize his bottom line while fleecing weary customers... This is as bad as they come at $75 a night for a room that looks like its from a horror movie.Also. I was quoted $50 on Expedia when I made the reservation, but the manager upcharged by another $20 when I checked in. He offered me to cancel if I want. Who would have the energy to cancel at the last second.Most evil owner.Worst hotel in my recent memory
Staff Was Nice, great location & for a very major biggie for me, is they accept pets & from what I know, are the only ones in town that do For my furry baby boy happy & getting good night sleep, so am I
Needs condemned!!! I really dont know how the health department hasnt shut it down!! Black mold, smelt like pot everywhere. Stayed like 5 mins and left , they said I would be charged 50 dollars bc I was leaving, which is bull!! But did get the rest of my money back. Dont go to this place!!!!!!!! Very disgusting!
Gave 1 star only because it wont let me give it no stars! Terrible, we stay in hotels 50 weeks a year for work and this is one of the worst! Ceiling in the bathroom was collapsing, they tacked it up with a paint stick, linoleum floor peeling up to point of trip hazard, and no bed frame! Just a box spring and mattress on the floor. I rarely write reviews but this one was so bad cant recommend! Plus other issues...
Staff friendly but place is nasty strange smell in hallway. Especially the smell of marijuana Strange noises at night. Parking lot sucks too many pothole. You definitely get what you pay for as far as price wise just spend the extra money and stay somewhere nicer
I stayed Red Carpet Inn Recently Room 110, So when I first drove up I was like what did I get myself into Trouble. But once I got in the Room it was very clean. Everything worked. Internet Is Free & Osam. Not gonna lie I checked for bed bugs and clean linen. I slept very well and Quite Location!! The gentleman I dealt with on the phone was awesome. Thank you come back again.
Terrible. We walked in and walked right back out. Didn’t even unpack. The bathroom was disgusting.....floor was moldy, flooded and tile was coming up. Beds are hard as rocks. The ceiling in the bathroom was split and being held together by a wooden paint stir stick. They would not give us a refund bc we didn’t cancel our reservation in advance.....how could we know it was going to be THAT bad?! Do not stay here.
This motel (as I will not dignify it by calling it a hotel) was by far the worst that I have ever stayed in. The front desk clerk absolutely ignored the reservation that was made online through Hotwire and demanded an extra payment in cash. The room itself was dirty and there was pubic hairs in the tub (no shower for me that night). The beds were lumpy and smelled musty. All in all, I think I would have preferred an overnight stay in a prison....as it would have been cleaner.
I would leave no stars if I could! We drove an hr and 15 minutes to find out they gave our room away because nobody has checked out yet???? Really? Booked online over a month ago with Expedia, called Expedia and told them what is going on cause this is guaranteed, while we are on the phone with Expedia, they tried calling the mgr on duty at this location and the guy would not even answer the phone!!! This place and this mgr is a JOKE! I own several businesses and I promise you I will be sharing while I am in town for the weekend, as well as everyone I know that travels to Lima! Poor excuse of a business!
This is perhaps THE WORST motel I have ever stayed at. I spent 10 years travelling the country as a PGA Tour Caddy and although I stayed in several motels run by the Red Dot Indians, they were at least clean and nice. This place?????It was down right embarrassing! With single digit degrees outside, we could never get the room to warm up (maybe 55-60-degrees). Our nonsmoking room smelled like smoke! The carpets were filthy! The TV reception was bad! The towels and wash clothes were completely wore out. The water pressure was a dribble and onlyluke-warm, the internet was unsecured when we could get on, and that wasnt often, and the parking lots and sidewalks were sheer ice.When coming to Lima, OH.....do your best to avoid this motel at all costs!
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was a dirty condom on the bathroom floor!!!!! The room smelled like a dirty strip club. There was only one Towel that was not covered with stains. The heater ran all night and still could not keep the room at a comfortable temperature. There was no way I was going to sleep under the covers so I slept with a sweatshirt on with the hood over my head. Hands down the worst place I have ever stayed.
I stayed with my family it is nice place internet work vary good . Room is clean i looked all mattress and bed sheet there is nor bed bug at all . front desk person is really helpful . i will stay again . Nice place to stay also good location and good price . New LCD TV as well as room is renovated recently.
Cappy hotel! Bed and pillows too hard. Have to pay for the fridge and microwave. Shower was cracked, hot water tank not big enough, had to fight with everyone else using the toilet or shower in other rooms, had a water pik shower head that couldnt be adjusted. If you like the 70s or 80s, this place is for you. Great place for druggies.Should have gone to the motel 6 a couple blocks down.
Well my impatient coworker was like get a room in a rush. I checked online. The price was high but we need a place to stay. O.M.G. This place!!! Ill never book a room online without check the hotel out in person. Im just say if you stay there ask see room first before paying.
I had a really nice time staying at the Red Carpet Inn. The people were very friendly. The atmosphere was very homey and it was a very beautiful room. I would enjoy staying again.
The gentleman at the counter was nice but charging me $70 plus dollars for the worst hotel hotel I’ve stayed within the last 11 months...I travel 48 states and my company only gives me a room allowance of $65, if and when they feel like it, so I have to be fiscally responsible. It’s challenging finding a decent room while trying not to spend much over the allowed funds. A penny saved is a penny earned and when you have responsibilities at home depending on you, you have to be miserly.Anyways, there was hair in my bed sheets and they changed them for me.What they couldn’t fix were the nasty features of the room.A hole in the ceiling above the tub that had a mildew laden rag shoved in it and it was dripping water.Mold in the corner of floor and walls near the window. A window that looked out to the abandoned hotel next door and the window was covered in what appeared to be hard water salt laden drippings making the window difficult to look out of.A worn out mattress that caused me to wake up on and off during the night and come away with a sore back. Furniture that had stains and just an overall feel and smell that would make the entire place qualify for a horror movie set.I want my money back but this guy isn’t going to do that and I have no idea where he is spending the profits of this hotel especially since he boasted of being sold out.My Lyft driver says that his hotel and another one on the same street are housing the cities greatest winners after the city apparently removed them from Crack Capitol Estates and promptly tore it down.I’m still so mad after a week going by I’m not even sure what I wrote makes sense or even makes the point. I’m in Denver, Colorado as I write and I’m in a nice hotel (for the same darn $75 rate) as I write this.
I was wrong about this hotel I lied when i stated how friendly and great they was. Let me say I stayed there 3 months prior up until Jan 16 so I returned back to stay to finish school I was paying $215 a week hotel isnt the best but great when u need a place to stay. I return last nite wife stated she had room same rate for me as b4 her husband n her lied tried charging me $350 for this roach dump. LET ME SAY THIS WHEN I WAS ONE OF FEW PEPS STAYING THERE MY MONEY WAS GOOD BUT WHEN THEY GET A FEW WORKERS N TOWN THEY CHANGE UP AND WANNA RAISE PRICES FOR THERE LOYAL Customers THEY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN THE PLACE IS A ROACH DUMP AND THOSE BEDS R HARDS AS BRICKS....KEEP IT REAL ABOUT CHARGES U N UR WIFE BILLED SOMEONE ELSES CREDIT CARD THEN GAVE ME RATE 2TIMES THE AMOUNT QUOTED WHEN I CHECKED N SO I CHECKED OUT THE FOLLOWING MORNING WHEN U THEN STATED NO REFUND SO I I PAID MY $35.68 AND LEFT THAT DUMP SO U DECIDED TO KEEP CHARGERS ON CARD KNOWING THE CARD WAS NOT MINE WHICH U N WIFE WAS FULLY AWARE SO I POSTED PIX OF ROACHES AND BED BUGS I FOUND IN SEVERAL ROOMS I C U TOOK DOWN I WILL GLADY REPOST YOUR HOTEL IS A DUMP U RASIED THE PRICES 3TIMES THE AMOUNT WHEN U HAD ALOT OF UNION WORKERS N TOWN NEEDING PLACES TO STAY
Made reservation on Hotwire for two rooms and multiple guests. Paid on Hotwire, when I arrived the front desk clerk demanded we pay extra in cash for extra guests other than the name, even though the reservation was made for 4. Said he could cancel the reservation, but of course hotwire would not refund. I highly recommend not patronizing this establishment.
AWEFUL Stained pillow case, awoken by roach in bed, bathroom filthy. Checked in with cash and could not get refund to go elsewhere. Ended up sleeping in car. If there is a four star review, it is planted there by the owners. Stay far away.

Just called this place to talk to talk to manager about weekly prices he could do the same for me cause saw someone post 3 weeks earlier about rate of 240$... and the worker that picked up the phone was rude and started yelling for no reason when I was talking calm. Red carpet needs to check up their people or youll lose customers.
Went on price ..once again horrible mistake ..the weekly rate is not a deal it is the same price as paying by the day ..which is what I shouldve done.. long story short two nights in had to leave due to issues at home and NO REFUNDS CROOKED OWNER AND DIRTY . I Do Not Recomend staying here for any reason.
This place needs to be condemed. It stinks upon entry and worse in your room. Just plain filthy and over charged me and say they never found my wallet but it never made it back home from my trip and that was the last place I had it.

Really should offer weekly rates. There are a lot of travelers who work in the road. My husband taverns for work. Stays at hotels for a month or more n pays cash for room weekly.

Wish i could rate lower.was there for over a week n i got bit by bed bugs every nite but one.had an arguement with manager n he did clean the hell out of our room but was still bit after words.only reason i stayed there was only hotel room avalable within 40 miles of where i was working.room 110 looks like a murder seen.holes in the wall blinnds broke n curtains had tears in them.carpet had a giant red stain by the bed.my co worker said it looked like blood but i stayed positive n they said it was coolaid spilt by a kid months ago.place is a dump n will nvr go back.i went to walmart n bought my own sheets pillows n blanket.worst place ive ever stayed.if the manager was smart he would sell out n go somewhere else.very nice ppl running the place but absolute dump.please dont stay there.if u do dont let them put u in room 110......by the way i do have doctor documentation stating they was bed bug bites..i didnt even wana write this review but i dont feel its rite to have went through this n not warn others.please spend the xtra money n go anywhere else but here.ull spend way more for ur own sheets n stuff not to mention bug bite creams n a trip to the cleaners to have all ur stuff steamed n cleaned so u dont take it home with u.
The hotel smells real bad rooms not clean poor service bugs i got told i check in and check right out they souldnt be in bussiness at all check the sheets i found chicken bones behind the bed nasty
It takes an hour to check in and she needed my driver license pictures of cards. I have never had so much trouble to check in.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I felt at home there. The staff, from management to housekeeping were very welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable.

Offen time i stayed at a Red Carpet Inn Hotel Before During The Works, But i Was pleasantly surprised ! Very good value for the reasonable price for me. It was recently renovated and the result was more than satisfactory!
It is a descent room nice people who run it price is a little high for the week but overall we will stay here again
I stay in this hotel with my family it is nice place front desk staff is wonderful.Location is nice restaurant gas station as well as breakfast is nice they help us lots during our stay i would love to stay again if i will visit again in future
This place needs a makeover bad... The curtins from the parkinglot are shredded up and make the place look scary to stay in... Then they want money for a night... They should pay you... Walking into the place I got a serious creep me out feel from the place... I would say keep looking...

The rooms smell like cigarettes, the bath tub old and rusty. The damaged bathroom door ... the hotel is very old.
The customer service is terrible, and the air conditioners do not cool anything, for four hours I stayed charged me all day and a separate penalty.

2022-03-17Horrible place yes definitely very discusting and I would absolutely never stay in this place again I would rather pay 120+dollars to stay in a better place. Safer place and with much nicer staff they do not care if you are unsatisfied they only care about their messaly 70 $+ tax I think Im going to the Howard Johnson and be treated like a king haha

2021-07-11The owners are super friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure that your needs are met while staying in their hotel. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The air conditioning works amazingly well. No complaints, I will be staying here again when I have the opportunity!

2021-06-29If zero stars were an option I would choose it. My family and I stopped here and only stayed for about 20 minutes. The rooms smelled like weed, outlets were falling out, bathtub was duct taped, hole in the shower ceiling, old headphones hanging on the hangers. Under the bed we found crackers, water bottles, trash, and someone’s fake eyelash. My cousin found bedbugs in their room. The guy working refused to give us all of our money back and charged us a $10 cancellation fee. This place should be shut down! 2020-10-05Extremely poor service. If I could select - stars or no stars I would. Front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. Check in clerk wanted to give me a double smoking room, when I had booked and paid for a king size no smoking room. Tub had rust stains all over, bed had hair on it and room smelled like mold. Very musty. I preferred to cancel than risk my health in a room like that. If you can afford it, comfort inn across the street was 100% better and worth the extra $20. Thank goodness Priceline issued them a violation plus refunded me my money.

2020-08-23The price isnt the issue, nor was the staff, both of those were great- the MOLD, peeling tile in the bathroom/bathtub, the dirty torn up carpet, very torn up bedding, and the very uncomfortable unclean bed WAS the issue. My stay was 3 nights. The first room they gave me smelled terrible, and had horrible mold.They did move me to a new room without charge, but I was told the smell was fresh paint and denied that it was mold (fresh paint doesnt make my allergies act out, not even in small enclosed spaces). As I stayed there in the new room, I would come to learn it was not much better.After leaving, I was ill from all the unclean situations in the hotel. Dust, mold, unclean rooms, etc.I am aware theyre undergoing renovations and with that comes dirty mess, BUT professionally, that should not put customers at risk at all ever.

2019-07-31I had almost given up on finding a room for the night that wasnt going to cost an arm and a leg, then I stumbled upon this place! The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful, and I was able to get a room immediately, despite not having a reservation. My room was surprisingly clean and didnt smell of stale cigarettes--hard to come by at such a reasonable rate! It was nothing fancy, but I just needed a place to sleep. The free continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Ill DEFINITELY be staying here again!

2021-07-25I checked in last night. The rooms were nice and clean. Its really quiet out here. I like the environment and the staff are really nice. They are really good people.
