Food is good but if you want your food at a specific time better order it online for like 30 minutes prior. Got to the restaurant right at my pickup time and it was a solid 20 minutes before they even started my order with absolutely 0 sense of urgency or care from the staff.
The food is always great absolutely love the cheese cake and chicken sandwich they are always busy so I recommend ordering before you go so that way you dont have to wait as long
Pizza, salad, dessert at 11pm. It was delicious. It was the only place we could find open that late.

Good pizza and wings. They need better customer service. The cashier messed our order up and the manager was rude about it. Even that the pizza was good. This will be my first and last time eating at that restaurant.
Forgot the cheese! I ordered a pizza and got manara pie. Yuck!!! Worst experience Ive ever had a a pizza joint. I called to give them a chance to correct the order and was rudely redirected. Dont trust the reviews, this is awful foul marinara dough.
Ordered 3 party pizzas for 13 ppl... $60... Decent size pizzas. 1 chz, 1 pepperoni and 1 onion/shrooms/hot pepper. Good toppings and pizza was good too. Parking is an issue.... but would definitely order again.... Double check delivery...no delivery currently.....Covid??? Staffing??? Why the 4 stars...
Got to try the new teriyaki thai chicken pizza here and I can honestly say, it is the best teriyaki pizza Ive ever had! I couldnt even wait to get to my table before taking a bite 🤤They kept all the great cheese and just added on the right amount of chicken, peppers, onion and teriyaki sauce to make it an amazing balance! ✊🏼10/10 would recommend at least trying it out before they take it off the menu! 😁
Love this place and the people there but tonight I went there and I got the 2 slices meal and the slices were so small and thin like they could have been together to make one and I’ve gotten this many times never this small
Waiting around for someone to take my order..there was a worker drinking soda at the soda fountain and someone else getting bags together instead of taking my order..needs better customer service

Ive had the worst customer service experience at this establishment. I placed a online order on December 1st to be picked up at 845pm. I got to RH at 845 exactly. I placed a timed order because I was on lunch and had to walk 5 minutes there and 5 minutes back. When I got to RH my food was not even close to being prepared, in fact I found out later that they didnt even start my order. I asked for my money back from 3 people including the manger on shift. One said it wasnt her fault, the other walked away from me in the middle of my sentence and the manager of all people got into an argument with me. She refused to provide me with proof of a refund. I told her to give my food or my money. She tried to kick my out, because I asked for my the product I paid for. We had exchange of words and I finally got my food 15 minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready. They need to train their workers that the customer is always right and that it was their fault my food wasnt ready on time 👊👊👊.
The biggest positive with this location is that through everything going on the hours are still good. Ive been in 3 times (Ive had the pizza, burger combo and chicken tender combo). The pizza slice combo (while not my favorite pizza taste) is the best value out of any of the things Ive had. The burger was an average burger where the size and price point you expect it to be more of a sit down restaurant quality but it was definitely bland to the taste but still edible. The 3 tenders in the combo while they had good texture and were moist, were very small for the price point. Im still working at the vaccination site for another 6-8 weeks and with the hours they are open theres a good chance Ill come and eat again but Ill be narrowing my choices to something I feel Im getting my moneys worth
Was in Cleveland over the weekend for NYE and the Cavs game. After the game we tried literally everywhere to find some thing to eat. Upon giving up we found this place just a few doors down from out hotel. Boy were we greatful! The staff was great and very attentive while answering all my questions being a noob to Rascal House. We loved everything we got. Chicken strips, soft pretzel, pizza by the slice, both kinds of fries. All good! My only knock was we asked for 5pc tenders only received 3pc tenders. Upon looking at the receipt we were only charged for 3 pcs. So no harm no foul. No a big deal. We would gladly eat here again. Gotta try the burger and gyro next time! Thanks for saving us from having to eat a vending machine dinner!
While it might not be the original Rascal House that used to be across from Cleveland State University it still stands out as Rascal House pizza and if anybody ever asked if they should try it I would say yes most definitely!

I ordered Rascal House catering for a business lunch and was very impressed! While the group of attendees has a variety of dietary preferences, everyone was pleased with the options available. The food was fresh, tasty and best of all, delivered on time without a crazy fee. I highly recommend them for your company lunches.
Came into town late, hard to place order, wings received wrong boneless versus bone in, hot was only hot if you consider Franks red hot with cayenne, garlic bread had some type of thick mayo garlic, and marinata was thick sweet tomato and not sauce, no oregano no taste, this did not even fulfill my lowest category of nourishment which usually when hungry almost every is considered nourishment. The pizza here truly makes it a different kind of pizza place. The wings are good and they have a nice chicken wrap that I would recommend. Besides that, its an amazing place.
Havent had a Rascal House pizza since I used to go to shows at Peabodys many years ago, but I had my first one in a long time today and it was every bit as good as I remembered it!
Review update: 7-5-21I always have a positive experience coming here. Your chicken sandwich are the best. My only complaint is that there is no Rascal House in Youngstown Ohio. Can you please open a Rascal House there?This place is awesome. Ive been to Cleveland several times staying at the comfort inn and Rascal House is a 2 minute walk. I had the rascal chicken sandwich and it was great. I also had a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was amazing, crunchy pepperoni and warm gooey cheese on a crisp crust. Ill come here again next time Im in town. Great food and service at a fair price.
Worst ordering experience Ive ever had with awful customer service. In two days I had to call 7 times, I spoke with over 10 people because they continued to pass the phone around from one person to the next. I paid for the same order of over $100 3 times on 2 different cards, meanwhile both days the first person I would speak with would say that there was no order for me and then the next person would say I do have an order. 2 different people confirmed my order and delivery and 10 minutes after its supposed to be delivered I call and the girl says its out for delivery. I call back 7 minutes later (I was only 4 minutes away), I spoke with 2 managers and they both said that there wasnt an order for me so I did not receive a pizza. Meanwhile, not one person was apologetic for their errors as I have 17 hungry college athletes who are wanting pizza. Never ordering from here again.

I asked the cashier is this young man making my pizza with no gloves the cashier replied yes but the pizza goes in the oven he still should have gloves on no matter what hes doing or
We went last year while I was getting treatment at Cleveland clinic. The food was phenomenal then and I hope its still good when I go back to the hospital in September. They offer a variety of options from by the slice to whole pizzas, sandwiches, sides, salads and desserts.
Terrific service, great food and nice delivery drivers! Buy the meat lovers pizza for my residents (I work at a medical respite center) and have always gotten hot delicious food from Rascal House. After a horrific experience with Guys Pizza I turned here and havent been disappointed yet. Recently discovered the Rascal Burger and have ordered one ever since! Unquestionably one of the best burgers in Cleveland. Big, juicy and tasty its a bit pricey but its soooooo worth it in my opinion. The phone staff have always been courteous and friendly everytime I called. If you havent tried Rascal House I urge you to do so. Its the best!!!!

When I attended Cleveland State my favorite thing to eat was Rascal House wings I ordered them on a whim today And was very disappointed. They had no color, the sauce was clearly watered down and the chicken itself had no seasoning. They tasted like they were flash fried and then finished off in a toaster oven, never again will I waste my money.
Guy at the front desk of the Comfort Inn suggested this place. Said he visits often. Very good pizza. Ordered the Super Deluxe. Toppings were fresh and delicious. Price is a little higher than the franchise places, but worth it. Only complaint I can make is... pizza wasnt cut all the way (happens to everyone). Would order again.
My favorite place to get pizza! Actually one of the only places I will eat pizza from. Best fries too. We make the drive a couple times a month. Never been disappointed! Not a big fan of the bathroom situation though.

Really disappointed. Ordered some pretzels and fries. I waited nearly an hour and a half and no food. I get it can get busy later at night but the kitchen looked like total chaos and its really bad when you cant finish an order that basic. The manager was super chill about giving a refund, but probably not gonna go back. Would avoid.

Pickup order-pizza was really good, great crust, toppings generous and very tasty. Girl at checkout did not seem customer focused at all. Had drinks ordered too, but was not included in the total so had to pay twice. No apology, no thank you, not even have a nice evening, just “want your receipt?”
Inside it is very nice and has a nice layout. The customer service was excellent and speedy for it to be during lunch hour. I was not impressed by the pizza though. It was greasy and didnt taste like much. The chicken was amazing as well as the salad. Pricing isnt bad.
I cant recommend this place for for sub sandwiches. We were stopping off the highway driving through. Asked if there was a charge for adding stuff to subs and the girl didnt answer. Well they charged 10% of what the sandwich cost to put the equivalent of one thin slice of onion. Subway is around the corner - youre gonna get a better deal and itll taste better (probably not as slimy) then what I just had. Hope I dont get sick ugh not feeling great after this.
Best pizza 🍕 in town. Downtown is very convenient for students but not so much for us working stiffs because of parking. To be sure, the food is absolutely 💯 and the staff is patient and friendly.
Very consistent service and products. There slices are good if youre in a hurry but I would recommend buying a whole pizza, the proportions of ingredients makes for a much better taste. I think they skimp a little on the single slices.I really love their chicken tenders, theyre never burnt but always nice and crispy.
Love this place. Good for late night snacking or a late dinner. Close to everything big downtown. Not a super fast place to eat but always yummy and worth the wait.

My dad and I visited from Indiana. The women at the front counter at the hotel we stayed at recommended you guys to us and we took her word. We ended up enjoying it so much we had it 2 nights in a row lol

First..the staff! This is not a serviced restaurant. You order your food, pay for it, choose a seat and eat with family, friends or along. The cashier..who was pregnant...brought our food to us and treated us as if we were royalty! She was awesome! She didnt have to do that. It was 11pm we had just left my nieces 🎓 tired and hungry. Food didnt take long at all for made to order. Delicious! Every bite! Very affordable. Five of us we had belly buster 16 slice pizza, 18 wings and a order of desert and drinks. Under $50 bucks! My family had never eaten there, now they cant wait to go back! Its friendly cozy and we were sure to leave her a hefty tip! Will be returning. We couldnt even eat it all with two men!

Food is good but wait and service is terrible, waited a good 35-40 mins for a number 2 meal. The guy at the register doesn’t have his mask covering his face, just like the last time I saw him when I visited, and he’s not helping the workers in the back at all, just going on his phone and is definitely irritated, as I can tell by the look in his face. Kept people waiting and obviously didn’t wanna be there, and didn’t help get rid of the line to the door.
Online order with email of 1209 delivery time - when I called at 1230 - first rep could not find my order and hung up.When I called back - person was able to find my order - say it is on way and should be there in 10 minutes - but could not do anything about delayWhy bother taking a phone number to call when you don’t have the courtesy to say you are late or even coming at all?Now 40 minutes late - no pizza yet - no discount or even call - and will see.Not going to order here again.Used to be good service - but not today.Customer service not a priority in my opinion.
I love the atmosphere in this restaurant. Its so cute and depending on what time of day you go its not very busy so its a great place to eat in peace or to study. 2 stars off because the food isnt really good. The pizza is gross and the last few times I had a chicken sandwich there (which is one of their tastiest items) it was raw in the middle. I recommend the wings and if you really want pizza have something with a lot of toppings to mask the not so good taste
I have had some of the worst experiences dealing with these guys. First, I reported issues such as. Why is it taking 1hr 30min to get my delivery. After they couldnt get ahold of the driver. While was doing his thing while on the clock. They seemed to care. Got the whole we will investigate and do better story. Then two days later I tried again. Delivery. After an hour, I called. They said I can come pick it up, its been waiting 45min. Of course I didnt. Then, now I asked about using an online coupon over the phone. (Its been done before). The lady told me no then just hung up. For being one pizza place, out of the millions to choose from. Id expect better service. Im done with chain.
They had a busy lunch rush a bus full of high school kids about 80. 5 stars to all the employees handle it awesome great team atmosphere and the pizza is a some the best!!!!!

We ordered a pizza during the COVID-19 pandemic to pick up. We had already paid online. As we entered the Maple Heights Ohio location wearing Our gloves 🧤 and masks😷, we were greeted by the employee at the cash register without a mask or gloves. When I looked in the kitchen, the pizza maker did not wear any protective gear either. Now do I really feel safe eating at this establishment? No Way!!! If I could rate a zero, I would have done so 🤢
TRASH SERVICE- When staying at Tru Hilton DO NOT waste your time ordering pizza from them. We waited over 2 hours for food that never showed up and when we called to cancel, they acted like it was no big deal. 45 minutes after we cancelled the delivery driver called, I advised him we cancelled that order and he hung up on me.Very unprofessional and sad.

Its a pizza joint... with really good wings and burgers! And by good wings, I mean better than The Anchor, by any standard wings, not just good for a Pizza Joint wings. I had the Buffalo and the Sweet ChilI sauce wings, and both were great!Their pizza is very good; familiar in a school cafeteria pizza kind of way but elevated to levels Bertha couldnt hit, although she tried. Very good, and very comforting.The burgers are HUGE. The double is a pound of meat. Great balance of meat / cheese /toppings /bread. Very tasty, and the grill people consistently did a great job on the patty, resulting in a very tasty burger!
This was my first time going and we Will Be Back!! Absolutely love the prices for 9 people we spent less than $60 ($57.35) and had left overs to take home and Everything was Delicious 🤤!
Pizza connoisseur here. Worst pizza I have EVER HAD. Horrible flavor. Boneless wings sucked. Cookies were amazing. Should be called rascals cookies and just stick to that. Don’t waste your money here on pizza. Delivery also took 1.5 hours
I order some wings dings... once I bit into my chicken it was pink and half cooked in the inside. No sauce on my wings like I asked for and I order a side of ranches and didnt receive it. So I called and talked to management and since they couldnt get the bone in wings right I order some boneless wings free of charge.. once I recieved them they was old as if they was cooked hours ago sitting. If I knew better Ill do better. I wouldnt refer anyone to this restaurant.
Easy n best place to kill food cravings instantly
I work for a social services agency that works with people experiencing homelessness. Every other week, wed order lunch for clients coming to a workshop where we provide pizza at the end. On multiple occasions, the pizza was undelivered, leaving people that have very little without lunch for the day. After spending hundreds of dollars over several months, we have decided to look elsewhere. Last week, I was told our pizza was delivered somewhere else and that they could not ensure that new pizza would arrive in time. After leaving the workshop to pick up pizza, the delivery fee was still on my receipt and the pizza we receive was doughy and on the verge of being raw.

There werent a lot of people in line, and my wait time to check out wasnt very long. However, I had to wait almost 15 minutes to get my slice of pepperoni pizza. Perhaps I came just after the lunch rush, because it took forever, despite all the staff in the store. I even had to let the cashier know that I was still waiting on pizza after it finally came out. The pizza was good, as Rascal House always is. But for a quick slice to go, it did not impress.
The pizza was pretty amazing. I ordered the combination that had a piece of pizza and wings. The wings were cooked great and very meaty but the garlic sauce seemed to be all oil. We would definitely go back.

I went to Cleveland for a concert at Wolstien on (09/08/19). We walked all over the place to grab a quick bite. Pizza sounded good to us. I should have turned around and walked right out of the place when we were told there wasnt any cheese and pepperoni available by the slice. We would have to wait for the half and half (cheese / cheese&pep) pizza to be done. Then we were told that 2 of the pepperoni slices were already sold to the people ahead of us in line. My daughter and I only wanted 3 slices between us. So we got a slice of cheese only as a substitute. No big deal I can get over that. What really turned me off was that it took 20 minutes to get my order. I literally had to ask the young lady who took and delivered food orders to give me my 3 slices of pizza that were waiting on the warmer shelf.Ive worked in pizza shops. 20 minutes is too long for pizza by the slice as if to say I can order, get my slice and leave.Overall it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.Pizza quality was average at best.How on earth do you not have lots of slice pizzas available at 4:30 on a Sunday that your Browns played. Maybe Clevelanders dont eat after football games downtown?
I placed my order at 2am and received an email stating that my order would arrive at 3am. 3:05a I received an email stating that my order was cancelled and I would receive a refund in seven business days. Why wait an hour to cancel my order? Why do I have to wait seven business days for my refund? We could’ve made different arrangements for food if we would’ve known that there was no intention to deliver our order. I ordered directly from the site and received a nice “thank you” email for doing so.... ha! What a joke.
Go here consistently either for a bite for lunch or drunk pizza after an event and its consistently great. Just got served by Anthony up front, he was super happy and helpful, gave us amazing service. Can be hard to find in quick food places like this. Keep it up, I hope management gives him the props he deserves.
The burger is huge, but reminds me of the Mondo burger from Good Burger. Its quality is worse than that of bBurger King and they charge an extra $1.75 for cheese. Im sure they use fillers. The pizza is gross, all bread and cheese, not enough sauce. The chicken wrap is just not good. Im not sure why I keep going back. However the milkshake is good and the fries are delicious.
Exceptional customer service and great Management. The manger Shawn made something right from another Rascal House (university heights) that had nothing to do with his store! He also made my son’s Friday night with a great pepperoni pizza!
Had an awful experience with the food. Ordered some pizza and fries at about 10pm. Went home and ate the food. Less than an hour later i was puking and crapping out literal pieces of food that didn’t digest, and eventually became sick for several days for suspected food poisoning. Had to take a day off work because i felt like i was about to die. Will never ever go back :)
Ordered late at night from a Downtown Hotel. Pizza was delivered quickly, but unfortunately it was raw and undercooked throughout. A little disappointing.
Really enjoyed visiting this eatery. Great quick food menu. They are open late which is wonderful for visitors to the Cleveland area. The mend offered a wide variety of foods that were sure to please most anyone. Employees were wonderful in providing a great, quick meal. Service was excellent. My next visit to Cleveland Clinic will include a stop at Rascal House!
Food is generally excellent. The new front-facing staff seems to be tremendous, courteous, helpful. The only complaint is that their drivers routinely drive the wrong way on a one-way street near their location, apparently for convenience. Its dangerous, and Ive seen and been told about some too-close calls.
A Cleveland staple right in the heart of the Cleveland State University campus. Get slices to go or dine in and grab a beer with your meal.
Pleasant surprise. Good tossed salad, buffalo wings were huge (unfortunately, not hot enough temperature-wise). Gyro was tender and pretty good. 2 beers made the whole meal...pretty a satisfactory outing.

While I could easily slam this place for delivering my food to me in an untimely fashion. Let it be said that the crew and managers were working together very quickly and with great attitudes. I appreciate their nice and kind behavior, even under an increasingly harsh college rush. I knew that the team was having to work at a ridiculous rate of speed to deliver all of the orders on time, and that matters to me. They are all earning their paychecks to the last cent for what they have been doing here. Every other time I have visited, which have been quite a few, the same great attitudes have been applied, but, with it less busy, I got my food faster. I have been recommending this joint to my friends and colleagues, and will continue too. Btw, I got one of the best philly subs of my life here today! Very pleased.
I ordered at 11:57 and my food showed up at 1:30 after being told it would be delivered by 12:49. The Caesar salad was inedible. It looked like a salad made 3 days ago and left out. The drink was wrong. I ordered sugar free Monster as I am diabetic and a regular Monster showed up. What a waste of $27! I will never go back and will recommend to others that they dont either.
After working there for a year I have come to understand that the Rascal House located downtown has very flexible hours and shifts and pretty ok pay ($8.50-$10 an hour). With that being said there are going to be many times were youll be asked to come in early, stay late or fill in for someone. They usually compensate you with a free meal, but thats all they can offer. The only way you can get a raise is if you train in another part of the store (grill, pizza, driver, manager). But even then its not a guarantee because from what the general manager informed me of is that the majority of the people who are positioned in there part of the store dont know everything there is to know or do when it comes to playing their part. So 9 times out of 10 if they were given a test to take and didnt pass with a 90%-100% youre not gonna get a raise. And as far as becoming a manager goes you need to know all of the ins and outs of the store to even be considered a candidate. Which is rare since the majority of employees are young students/ people who leave after 3-5 months. I have even helped corporate upstairs and all they could do was just give me the hours that I spent upstairs filling information on customers into computers. The only benefit you get is 50% off any food that isnt dessert or specialty drinks. There is a small hand full of staff that have been there for 10+ years and from what I have observed its possible to get some sort of benefit after being there for so long, but its clearly one of those under the table unspoken things. I have dealt with customers threatening me and calling me out of my name, theft, managers neglecting to properly act on employee on employee harassment, being held responsible for unsatisfied customers who scammed the store, dealing with the homeless and mentally ill, and etcetera, Majority of the time these stressful situations have happened in the evening/ at night and sometimes more than once in a night. Not once did any manager ask if there employees were ok. I believe the lack of care for their employees is due to the fact that there is no human resources. Many of the employees and even some managers have expressed to the general manager that there needs to be a security guard at night, every night, because thats how dangerous it can get. Even if police or campus security was called to settle a situation most of the time they wouldnt make it in time. To make a long story short, the food is great but expensive, although the pizza can be pretty doughy/ uncooked at times, customer service is fair, and its a friendly environment usually.
I have heard really good things about Rascal House so i decided to check it out. The food was good but sadly the service was awful. I did an online order pick up and waited about 10-15 minutes before someone even asked me what I had ordered. Then, I waited another 15 ish minutes or more for my food. The manager saw my friend and I waiting there and didnt ask what we ordered until awhile later. No one ever informed us how long our food would be. After our food finally came out, the manager did not even apologize for the ridiculous wait. I understand that they may be busy but my experience seemed unacceptable. I was very excited about visiting this place after hearing such good things about it but I am very disappointed in the service.
Good pizza, kind of expensive, hopefully you dont have to go to the bathroom while youre here. They told me they lost the key, I asked them to look and they did, found it and then I returned it, then another member in my party asked for the key and was met with we dont have it we lost it and she replied that I had just turned it in and the employee continued that that was an impossible scenario since the key had been lost for over a week and eventually someone else got the key. But the first time I had to wait a while while they found it.

We only went here because it was the only thing open late. It was busy but people were getting their food within minutes - except us. We waited over an hour for burgers and fries.They apparently forgot about us and our burgers sat in the warming window for 20 minutes before they made the fries. The people working there didnt seem to know what anyone else was doing. All the tables were dirty and the whole time we were there, no one came out to do any cleaning.
Although I really like the rascal house pizza the dough (pizza) was not fully cooked. The dough was to chewy and moist. Didnt have time to return so I just tossed it out.
The pizza was average at best. It was 80 to 90% crust, and the crust isnt any good, it is soft and spongy and a waste of space. Beyond that the pizza doesnt have much flavor at all. Pretty disappointing for a place that was rated 4.3 stars. No better than a 2 star pizza
One if the worst Rascal house, the white manager doesnt care about your concerns I ask for my wings cook hard he lied said they was after I watch him wipe his hands on pants then grab chicken one by one. They charge you extra for putting sauce on side. Not professional and he wouldnt be running my business.
I would try it again, I like that it had a variety of things. I had a baked meatball sub, French fries and split a cheesecake with my boyfriend. Was clean and friendly staff. It was walking distance from our hotel and it offers takeout. A fast food italian Pizza and beer restaurant.
They don’t do my order until I asked them and they gave me a half of my order .when I talked to the manager ....she has a very bed attitude. It is the last time to come to this place again
I havent been there in over 10 years so I was surprised with the new renovation of the restaurant. The place was very clean, brightful, and inviting. The food was actually very tasty and was done within the estimated timeframe. Will return again but maybe they could introduce deals or coupons for weekly specials on many of their different options.
The last time I ate at the one downtown on Euclid I got sick not realizing it was from the pizza. So the other day I went again because it’s the only thing open when I work third shift. So I went in and ordered a gyro and while I was waiting I noticed that none of the staff working with the food wore gloves not one person handing food had on sanitation gloves. No wonder I got sick. I still got the food I just donated it to a homeless guy outside Thanks but no thanks Rascal house 👎🏾
I ordered pizza and 10 honey mustard wings around 930pm. When I drove home I found my wings piping hot and half cooked. Threw them away. Waste of my money for dinner after work.
Ten out of Ten! My favorite place hands down. I love the environment, I love the staff, and gosh darn it I love the pizza! We enjoyed a great slices of thin crusted pizza. Slices are big so the money paid was ok.
Everything about the pizza is complete garbage. The grill and sweets are okay. But they use cheap cheese, garbage sauce. The workers especially the manager named Sean are a bunch of trash cans who should be fired.
Called to order for pick up. They ran my card. Waited 10 minutes. Came back to me and said sorry ,they havent been made yet. Recording while waiting to place order said 30 minutes or free. Manager is now arguing with me. Atrocious service. Eventually got refunded. Just goes to show you how hard good help is to find.
Being new to Cleveland and the downtown area. Rascal House was one of the first places I tried and loved. The staff is amazing and management was super nice and helpful. Hats off to Nina who has been phenomenal to work with.
First time having pizza from a rascal house. Had always heard of them for years but never had them. Food was good. Staff was ok..just wish they had a better pizza selection..but it was late when we went
One of the Best pizza and chicken tenders Ive ever had. The staff is always friendly and very well mannered. Hands down one of my favorites spots to eat. I highly recommend eating here :)
Time to change the pizza recipe and that soft crust that tastes like microwaved pizza. Ugh. Wings tasted like they were microwaved. Bill came to $10. I cld have gone to Pizza Pan and got real pizza and wings. Giving them a break for a min. For the record, I am a native Clevelander and have dined at Rascal House intermittently since the late 80s. Further, the nearby University often chooses Rascal House to cater small to large events. While thankful for the kind gesture, I decline a plate. While the boxes are open and the pizza begins to get cold, the cheese looks like a cloudy glaze of haze plunked on red sauce. Not appetizing at all. Next time I will take a pic/video and post.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! The food is amazing and inexpensive and the people are so friendly and knowledgeable. I eat here ALL THE TIME. Great quality, great prices. Ive never had a problem here.
Place is nice and all, but the service is alright. They make good pizza and stuff but for the wraps and sandwich I would not say the same. The only thing that I liked from there was their shakes.
Chicken sandwich was soggy, chicken was soggy, tomatoes was soggy, bottom bun was soggy, Lettuce was turning brown, & they forgot to add cheese & my daughter fries tasted like old grease 😑 I called up there and the guy that answered the phone was just rude. He didnt sound interested in my problem at all. Only thing that was good is the soda because it was bottled. Just horrible. Never ordering from them ever again.
Pizza is ok here, mostly I come here for the burger which is pretty tasty. It is a bit on the pricey side 8$ (which makes sense since they aren’t a burger restaurant haha) but the burger is pretty big and I crave it anytime I walk by! Service has been fantastic so far!

Rascals has a fond place in our memories and we will always give it a try. We came in very excited to sit down and eat. But with the service, we just got the food to go instead. You are in a unique position to do great because of the proximity to CSU. Use it to be the best pizza place in Cleveland.
Not very good pizza. Gas station level. But its cheap (big one), open late on a campus with few other pizza options, and has a contract to cater at CSU so will be there for the long haul.
Quick, and inexpensive pizza thats popular with the college crowd! Im able to grab a slice pizza and fries for around $4. They also have other specials with two slices & a drink for $5. Whole pizzas are pretty cheap too and taste great. Im not a fan of their other food (sandwiches, salads, etc.)... but I will always stop by for the pizza!
Walked a mile in 30 degree weather to one of the only places serving food at 2am on a Saturday and this locations doors were locked— 2 hours before listed close time. People were still seated inside and eating. I guess someone decided they were done for the night arbitrarily. Unprofessional. Never again.

Great for a quick pit stop between classes. The penne bowl is just your basic noodles with what tastes like Ragu, but thats not bad considering the convienence of being right on campus. Pizza is also pretty good, very soft bread with a decent amount of topping. Employees are very courteous and quick, Ive yet to wait more than 10 minutes for an order. Would highly recommend as a break from the three Subways on Euclid.

Paid $49 for 2 pizzas and 2 bread sticks. It took 2 hours to get it and it was soggy. Was so excited because it had great reviews now very disappointed and wish I could get my money back.
Yummy pizza, decently fast service, but staff were quite friendly! Only had the deluxe pizza which was great for the price, but cant speak to their other extensive menu items.
Ive been going to the Rascal House since it was at the other location, when they had the video games on the left hand side ,and a bar in the back with the Dance Floor up top, those where good memories and never once that I ever think that I would never come back there... The employee Shea shouldnt even be working in the service industry if she cant do the job, without making a customer feel like they shouldnt order their food the way they like, there is no reason in the world I should have got the attitude I got because I asked for my onions and green peppers to be cut a certain way after 30 plus years of going to that establishment I will never go back after this experience... So I went to Gorgios and got the same pizza with extra pepperoni for a dollar cheaper...
Good place to go for good pizza at good prices. Their coupons can also be readily found at various places across the CSU campus if you are a student on a budget.
I ordered my food (a meatball sandwich for me, a double burger for my wife) at 12:01, and didnt get the final items until 12:51. There was a rush after the 1st World Series game, but that didnt start until 12:20. There was a large crew, who seemed to produce a lot of food, but the system to make sure everyone gets what they need is inadequate. I honestly think the paper slip the person assembling my order got lost. That person NEEDS a computer screen, paper slips on a counter are inadequate, as shown by my experience.When I spoke to the manager, he did make it right, and was a complete professional. Fortunately, we were not in an particular hurry, but honestly, you need an evaluation by a quick-service restaurant consultant on improving your customer response times. Im sure my experience was an anomaly, but one that neednt have happened.
Ordered 4 things and 3 of them were wrong. Wrong item, then no dip for wings, then wrong wing sauce, so on my third trip to the counter I finally asked for my $ back...which I didnt get. I got 7.49 back, although the item was actually 7.99, but I deserved every damn penny back after waiting 15 minutes with only one person in front of me and having 3/4 of our order messed up. Im pissed!
Called in an order and was told it wouldn’t be 45 min or sooner until delivered. An hour later, I called to check on the order and the woman on the phone said it should be arriving any minute. After waiting 10 more minutes, I called again and the woman said she would check on the order and placed me on hold for another 6 minutes. My building is two doors down. Now they close in 10 minutes, and are not answering their phone.
If you love marinara sauce too much this is right place for you. They drench their pizzas in marinara sauce. Most of the time their pizzas are hard as rubber. One star only for late night delivery.
They need to be more clear with when the delivery hours are online. Missed the cut off by one minute and they were absolutely inflexible to any bending of the rule. The person who answered the phone made no effort to offer any consolation and just hung up.
Food was old and service was horribly slow. When I told manager about food issue, salad was spoiled, she said thanks and that was it. Never offered to fix the issue!
Rascal House is the only pizzeria Ill eat at in Downtown Cleveland. I dont mean to smack other pizza businesses in the area, but Ill admit I have considerably awesome memories hanging out with friends in the old and the new Rascal establishment when I attended Cleveland State University. The menu selection and food quality are the tops, and whenever I travel to town for a Cavs game, theres sometimes a chance the menu will include discounted or special items. If you are a new student in the downtown area or are simply passing through the area, you should really give Rascal House a try.
I ordered a sub without onions and they put onions on it. It wasnt toasted as I requested. Lady over the phone was super rude!!! Would not recommend this place to anyone!
Ordered rascal chicken sandwiches and they were delivered to us RAW! Over an hour to deliver they forgot the drinks and brought them back over an hour later, delivery guy was being super creepy to my gf who answered the door, told her hell take anything she will give him and making unwanted advances at her! Id give this place less than a one star if I could horrible!

Best pizza in Cleveland. Period. They have an extensive menu with catering options. Perfect for large corporate events or if you would just like to treat yourself to some great food.
Sometimes the service is pretty slow, even when theres not a lot of people, but its nothing too bad. The pizza isnt as good as everyone says it is, but the Rascal Burger is delicious with the cheese and bacon.

Open late, the slices that are ready always seem fresh, and convenient location. Definitely my go-to when everything else is closed, just hard to park during the day.
My chicken wrap (supposed to be grilled boneless chicken breast) had a bone in it! No offer of a refund or anything, just an excuse that it was the suppliers fault. Usually have no issues but I will no longer be ordering from Rascal House.

But the service and time waited when told 8 minutes was sorry. Waited over 30 minutes. Almost 4x the time told.
This was my first time visiting the new location and its a great change. The pizza isnt winning any awards, but its perfect to grab a quick slice while downtown.

I love Rascal House Pizza! I went there 2 times! 1 during my CSU tour and the other on my 16th birthday. I just really love the pizza they have. My favorite foods there are cheese pizza, french fries, and a vanilla milkshake. Me, Ms. Cooke, and Christopher went there before during my tour at Cleveland State University. It is so good, I wish I could come back to that place again. My mom and dad used to go to Rascal House in Euclid Ohio. I hope I could come again soon! :) #RascalHousePizza

This place is the worst place. I came around 10:23 pm . I orderd a burger and I waited almost half an hour I asked the guy to check on my order. He said what order . Then said I am sorry I did not tell them to make it . I asked for a refund . And by the way it is not the first time they do this
The pizza and cheese are not the same great quality they used to be just a few years ago. Also waited 75 min for my cold pizza to show up (was told 35-40) and it was not during busy time

Ugh ..... hotel suggested Rascal House when we asked about ordering pizza. Over 45 minutes to deliver on a Wednesday night. No fork for my salad, no plates for pizza, no napkins and cookies were not hot and gooey as described.

I called in a order too day 4/21/2015 [ rascal house pizza downtown Cleveland] and by me living n a shelter they wouldnt deliver ..I live next door 2 child support /warfare building.. Just because I live here doesnt that my money not green or not a human.. 2022-05-14It was almost midnight and we had just got into the hotel next door. We walked around downtown but Rascals was open til 4am so we got a bite to eat. 3 cheese steaks and a jumbo pretzel order. Was the food the best in the world? Heck no. But did we eat when everything else nearby was closed and enjoy our food? Heck yeah! Got take out and brought it back to the hotel. Savored every bite. Its mediocre food, but a good place to go if there is nowhere else you can go.

2022-03-14I love the quintessential wavy crust! They have the best cheese pizza in all of Cleveland! Their pepperoni pizza and french fries are always too salty for me and their chicken they always cooked a little bit too soft no matter what Ive requested. But they have the best buffalo chicken in all of Cleveland as well!

2022-07-02Don’t order delivery from here unless you want to wait for a couple hours. If you only had one driver you should have adjusted your your estimated delivery time before I placed and paid for my order. Unacceptable. Not cool. Should have called and offered a refund welll before an hour and a half went by. This hotel and your shop are legit like 3 minutes away in a car.

2022-04-21Terrible, Ordered 2 BLT wraps well done bacon, sent a slimey undercooked wrap forgot the frys I paid for called and complained the Asst General Mgr said she would give me a credit. Called back 2 days later they said there was no credit they just refunded Waffle frys . So did she not only lie to me knowing the one wrap was disgusting and was inedible acted like it was no big deal so no lunch for me and then to be lied to. Never again will I order from such a dissapointment of a restaurant.

The food is also consistently fresh, hot, and perfect in every way!! :)Jake went out of his way as well as the General Manager recently to make sure our order was to perfection. No joke! These two managers should be proud. I am very happy with their service to us hungry. Clevelanders and those visiting our great city :)And as a proud United States Marine (Infantry/ machine gunner- 3 tours-2001-2005 yes to Afghanistan lol) I love it when people take pride in their work. 2022-07-12So we started ordering food specially the wings and waffles fries for few week and the first time was great, second time wrong fries they were supposed to be waffles fries but ok, then third time my husband pickup the order our mistake Not to look at it the wings we usually order are with barbecue sauce this order wasnt barbecue it was Buffalo sauce and thats a little bit to hot specially for me. .and than on top of that we call and because the second order they not give us our waffles fries we did have a store credit and that was fine, but they did charge us for regular fries so few days later when we desired to get our delicious fries we needed to matter what to pay for the difference on $ thats fine because perhaps we didnt specified when we order them ok..back to the wrong wings...make a phone call looking perhaps for another credit or wings even though we stay at Cleveland Heights and usually we order when we are coming home kinda late...so yes we couldnt go back into the next day this bra is telling my husband because of they mistake they did with the wings to bring them back its close to or pass 11pm and we at home getting ready for the next day taking about this time am gonna give you credit hold on just because 2 mistake that you guys did and Im going even take responsibility for the fries because we didnt specified as(waffle) but the wings no we cant do...period because yes we didnt check your stupid close bag...but our receipt does said barbecue wings... anyway Next day we ended up at the restaurant hubby talk to the manager at least thats what we thought and not only she got the nasty wings back from us from the night before that perhaps the other person really thought we will eaten no way..... and we has credit and fresh wings that day...thanks whomever talk to my hubby. .and try to understand that we do not stay around the corner...and its not possible to get home and then go back to downtown so from now on we will check our close bag orders period... be careful check your close bag. .orders.
