I called and asked if the rooms were non-smoking. They said no, so I said I would think about it and call them back.I called back and said I would like to reserve a room, and the manager FLIPPED OUT - something about the fact that I was causing him trouble because I actually wanted a non-smoking room. ?? No matter how hard I tried to correct this misunderstanding, all he could say was I know what you said! That is not what you said! Not knowing how to proceed, I finally told him I was no longer interested, and what did I hear next? CLICK.I lack a conceptual category for this disconcerting experience.
I stayed in room for about 10 minute after a concert @ blossom and left. The place and room we got was not even close to clean. Sheets were stained and had burn holes all over, hair on pillow,small blood splater on wall in bathroom. I would skip this place if I were you
This place is foul. Smells like animals and smoke. The room was not clean at all. The toilet had hair and stains all over. The floor looked like it hadnt been vacuumed in years. Worst $50 ever spent. I was afraid to touch anything, and of course its no refund. Very disappointed. I left after 10 minutes !
I saw drastic change this summer from what i saw few years back. I had to stay in cuyahoga falls after many years, once again for my business trip. Now it seems because of new management, the place is efficiently managed, close to being absolutely clean and at same cheap price.
First of all they dont vacuum the floors when you stay there for a week, you have to supply your own towels your own washcloths your own soap your own toilet paper what kind of hotel is this?
Bedbugs and crackheads.the guy in 117 tries to sleep with every woman that comes in. The owner was nice but if there are any problems with your room he automatically blames it on you. To get hot water in shower you have to run water in sink and flush toilet constantly. There are vagrants who walk the hotel constantly trying to bum cigarettes.....he calls your room constantly bothering you for cigarettes. The owner is always sneaking in your room when your not there looking for what I dont know. When i say crackheads i literally mean crack smoking lowlifes....drug dealers are in and out all day every day.....and god forbid you have a vehicle....they flock around your door trying to get rides to get drugs. We told them out Wi-Fi didnt work and they yelled at us and said it works fine and hung up on us. The phones didnt work the entire time we were there. Wish I wouldve never found this place. The guy in 114 is a drunk pervert who tried to rape my wife when I informed the owner of the multiple times of his harassment he just blew me off.
Great prices for the quality you get. No bugs. Unique but friendly staff. If you want a cheaper rate go with the ranch motel. DO NOT GO TO THE DON EL MOTEL.
Its a decient price for the emergency we are going thru. I have ocd so I would clean my room anyways. the guy that checked us in is very nice.NO BEDBUGS.
The only reason this place is getting one star is because 0 isnt an option. It smelled awful, the carpet was stained and filthy, there were dead bugs in the bathroom, and the sheets were dirty! We were in there for less than 10 minutes and checked out! The guy at the counter was kind enough to give me my $45 back.
The last night i was there....the building managers wife. Went in to my room late at night because the television was on ....and then before that i did check out....but ended up going back there due to my job....they never changed the linens ewww nasty....i will never go back to that ranch motel again
This place is a dump. City should shut it down. Staff is very mean and rude. Barely speaks English. Bugs in rooms.mold. outdated everything. Terrible driveway. Just a absolute dump
Worst place ever ! $50 a night it was disgusting and nasty. Couldnt even sleep there so gross everything broken.
They have bed bugs poor customer service and black mold in some of the rooms. I would rather stay in a dumpster than stay here

2022-03-02Treated me unfairly and wouldnt accept my money. Told me I could pay for a week and then lied, I was denied my week and month stay because they wouldnt accept my $300-$400. They only accepted my $60 twice. I stayed two nights and it was terrible.

2021-09-27Have to be in Akron area for 2 mths so I called about checking in.Wow...Woman that answered the phone said wait then for at least a minute I heard a foreign language. She then proceeds without even apologizing for the hold asking me for my age( Im well over 21). What the hell!!So I gave my age even though it was apparent that this is rude, odd motel. The worker than rudely states no vacancy. Umm OK then. I Will gladly take my business elsewhere, lol!

2019-03-08After reading some of these reviews, I thought maybe it was time to share my review of the Ranch Motel. And I know this place well, having stayed at this motel at least 100 nights over the years.The owners are fantastic and treat me and everyone else who lives there (many people live there, and some have lived there for years) just like family. They are very kind to me and all I must do is phone them and they ALWAYS have my room ready whenever I arrive.The rooms are clean, and I have never encountered the issues that some here have complained about. I know for an absolute fact there is an exterminator who sprays each room monthly for these issues.Rules? EVERY hotel I have ever stayed at, and I have travelled the world extensively, has rules. If you are disturbing other guests or destroying their property, of course they are going to ask you to leave. If rules bother you, stay home where I am sure you also have rules you have your guests follow.This is a quiet, clean motel that is well run by people who care about the safety of their guests. I will ALWAYS stay at the Ranch Motel and am thankful this is a fantastic motel for me to safely lodge.

2019-12-20I stayed at the ranch motel around 4 months I enjoyed my time there. It was always quiet . I was able to sleep well. Management sees that others are not loud. They were always helpful the water was always hot .the room was always comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a room.

2018-06-14Its was your basic hotel, but the owners watch you like a father watches his daughter on a first date. NO visitors allowd, 2 seconds after walking in my room the owners called because someone walked in with me. Im 41 not 10.... if you need a cheap stay cool....

2016-04-20I was in town on orders from the military and was looking for a cheap place to stay. While inexpensive, the room was absolutely shoddy. The sheets were ripped in several places, there was debris on the floor, and I heard someone walking around outside at 0200 checking to see if cars were unlocked. This room is worth 15-20 dollars per night. I sincerely hope the health inspector, the fire marshal, or the police come and put this place out of business or tear it down and create an all around better establishment

2016-07-14My boyfriend has been renting a room for about a month there, the rates are crappy for tbhe room u get. The room has a foul reoccurring smell that doesnt seem to go away. You pay 189$ and if u leave ten min then come back and you left the air or a light on and they are right there to tell you about how you need to turn those off. I havent heard of the office offering to wash the bedding or clean the room as a courstey. The showers are not very clean even after u buy cleaning supplies and scrub the shower walls down. The shower itself barely big enough for one person and the water pressure is ok the shower head sucks tho and the water has a smell. The fridge barely keeps drinks cold and the air-conditioner filter light has been on the whole time so the air is not so good either. They have wifi if u can get a internet connection that works is about 50-50 chance. You are not allowed to have any company visit while ur a guest there. The owners/office its hard to understand their english when they speak to you, they are also very nosey.

2015-07-27I made a reservation for a visit to the National Park, and the hotel cancelled my reservation the week prior and left me high and dry. I had to pay significantly more money in order to book another hotel in the area. The staff were not friendly about the cancellation either. This is no way to run a business and I certainly wont be staying here anytime soon.

2018-02-21Was denied a room after they looked at my id I dont know why it was only me I had no other people with me I had cash or debit card I have no idea about why I could not rent a room after looking at reviews it doesnt look like I wanted to anyway. Good luck to the owners of this building well wishes seems like youll need them.

2012-06-22I stayed at the Ranch Motel when I went to a concert at Blossom. This is the closest motel to Blossom, and I was pleased with my stay. I have stayed at other motels in the area but I had the best experience at Ranch. Th owner is a sweetheart and always present, the rooms were clean, and the prices are affordable. good deal overall
