Raising Canes Chicken Fingers in other cities:
I ordered a combo box, but when I got home, I recognized theres no fries, and no coleslaw in my box, and it was 3 pieces of chickens. I drove 8 miles to get my food and it was a terrible experience. Check your boxes when you order from this place, and ask them for the receipt!
The portions are waaaaay too small for the price. We both got 3 small chicken tenders. I can see adding a small one with a large and medium ones. But all 6 chicken tenders were small. It wasnt worth $17.If youre going to be cheap with the chicken fingers... Then add double amount of fries. Potatoes dont cost anything.NOTHING stood out. The chicken tasted basic. The fries were soggy. The dipping sauce was fine.Jollebee, KFC, Churches and Popeyes are better.
They have a long way to go. I arrived shortly after they opened, 3 or 4 cars ahead of me. Once I got to the window, it was probably 5 minutes before I got my food so I assumed everything would be hot and fresh. The chicken and fries were warm, but not hot. The toast was about room temperature and dry. The Coke tasted like a mix of Coke, Diet Coke, and Root Beer. I could almost understand any of this if they were busy, but that wasnt the case. The one in Kent is so good. I hope this one gets better. EDIT 05/18/22--I suspect they are reheating chicken that didnt sell the day before. I arrived around 11:20 am, so dry, lukewarm, hard chicken would not be possible that early in the day unless it was leftover from last night. The toast was hot and perfect, however.
Food is good but could use some more spice. Called ahead for 25 piece tailgater pickup in an hour. Had to wait 25 minutes after arrival (1 hour on the dot) for order. Drive thru line wrapped around the building! Felt bad for those in line because you are in a cattle chute with no way out if you change your mind. Food is relatively inexpensive compared to KFC and the chicken is moist.
First time customer. The line was long but moved at a decent pace. The food is good and the dipping sauce is excellent. The Texas toast was a little cold and so were the fries. I believe this may be from them cooking like crazy and getting ahead on food and fries to keep the line moving. Hopefully things are hotter next time. I recommend trying them.
I love canes, simple and Done right! I get the caniac combo nearly every time for around 12 bucks and you will be more than satisfied as you taste everything canes has to offer. chicken, coleslaw, Texas toast, fries and a drink, and I haven’t even mention the signature cane sauce. Always ask for more sauce, it’s amazing! Outside of some busy hours and some long waits here and there I have never had a bad experience from canes.10/10 would recommend in between lunch and dinner rushes.
Decided to give this new Cane’s location a try for lunch while working in the area and I was not disappointed. The food was, as it is with every Cane’s location, amazing! They got all of my orders for co-workers correct and everything was steaming hot. My only complaint is the line was wrapped around the building and it was quite slow, I understand it is newer and there are hiccups to correct with a new restaurant.
Stopped here to pick up dinner on my way home and they were out of Texas toast which I accepted Cole slaw instead. Problem is when I got home and opened the food my fries were burnt and the chicken strips looked more like large chicken nuggets, they were very small. Very disappointed and I usually never have a problem there.
I dont get the draw, honestly. I have never been to Raising Canes before. Stopped for lunch. It was very busy/crowded. The drive thru was wrapped around to the street. Despite the line, it kept moving very steadily. They were out of Cole slaw, but were willing to add fries or toast. I got extra fries with a box combo. For a place that just does chicken tenders and fries, it was just ok. I felt the toast was the best part. The chicken was nothing special, but it was ok. The fries were a little cold, which was especially disappointing considering how busy the place was. The flavor of the fries seemed a bit off too. I cant really describe it other than to say they werent bad, but definitely not anywhere near being a favorite.I wouldnt make a special stop for this place again. Id rather have Chick-fil-A or Sheetz chicken.
Fast service and great food! The first time I went to try the new location I got in line just a little to late and I want able to be served but the crew was so nice and gave out cards to return with! When I did go back I was nervous because the line was long again but even with it wrapping all the way around the building I was through in about 10 minutes. The food was excellent the soda was good and the staff was friendly! Cant wait to go back!
Chicken tasted like it was cooked in burnt oil !! worst location !!suggest you pick a different canes ! kent and canton are way better I highly recommend one of those!! definitely not this location in Akron area ! it seems like there is no pride in making the food here !! Maybe management should take a training course at one of the other locations so they can actually see how a successful delicious business should run
This location just opened up and they have everything very organized and moving like a well oiled machine! Im from central Columbus and I grew up with Raising Canes so I was SO EXCITED when I saw this location being built!!! The line wrapped around the building twice but we spent very little time in one spot, everything was always moving! My partner is a first responder and we had received a discount so we asked at this location. We understood that being a new location with all new employees, they may not have known about it, so we were patient with the person we asked. When she asked her boss (maybe a manager of some sort), her boss was very snippy and (accidentally but could have been prevented) hit the girl with her keys that her badge was attached to! She seemed very frazzled and was probably overwhelmed with the huge turnout, but I hope that the girl that was helping us gets an apology and at least a free soda. Didnt seem malicious, but something I noted. Will still be visiting again, and I do understand the stress, so 5full stars!
I can understand that the restaurant is new so theres a lot of hype causing outrageous drive thru lines and even dine in lines so nothing bad on that. My only thing is the chicken is just like any other fried chicken place. Bland, no seasoning nothing. Just fried in some crisco oil but definitely cooked good. Fries were sadly a bit stale but the Texas toast was on point. Maybe not worth $9 for a 3 piece large meal but good nonetheless.
I was pretty adamant about my experience. I am a fan of this place and their food. But for a new one just opening, the staff could have used some training in social etiquette. Also whoever decides on the location and the size of the place needs to seriously take a look at some of the other locations. Bigger parking lot, better drive thru service, and please for those of us who like to eat here a lot, teach them people some manners
This place is pretty great all you need to know is in the name, they serve pretty much nothing but chicken fingers a little bit of coleslaw, a slice of bread and crinkle cut french fries. This place is always booming no matter what time of day. Dont let the drive-thru line deter you, theyre very fast 10 to 15 minutes tops and drive-thru same with dining in.The chicken fingers here are pretty unique compared to anywhere else its very lightly breaded, and not dry at all.Keep in mind this place just opened up a few weeks ago and is going to be some hiccups, but dont let that stop you from trying this place out.
I’ve never left a 5 Star review but today I went to Canes, the manager Kevin noticed I had a flat tire, and put a SPARE on for me with his team. All after insisting I go in to get food while they do it. Not to mention the quick service on what may be their busiest day and the great food that came after! Will definitely be back.
This one is terrible. Theyre slow, the food is subpar and my sweet tea was mixed with Pepsi and rootbeer or something, how does that even happen? Why?Editing a day later - Im used to the Kent Canes being superb (the employees, speed, and food quality are amazing), so I was very disappointed and upset when writing my review. The Kent store closes earlier now, so I cant make it after work. Been to the new Falls one 3 times and each time has been a let down.
Omg this was an amazing trip to this Raising Cane’s on 10/20/21! The employees outside were so so so nice and lovely! A vehicle in front of me had a cute husky and one of the kind workers gave the pup a treat ❤️🥺 Food was absolutely PERFECT! Thank you Howe Rd. raising canes! :) best experience I’ve had anywhere :)
This group needs to up their game to compete with Chic-Fil-A on, service, food quality, and presentation. The chicken strips arent seasoned as well, they didnt have a handle on tracking orders to cars, and the young woman taking my order couldnt describe the Cane dipping sauce (training). The carton of food was messy. Removing the slice of bread that was squished and toasted on one side wont be missed. Getting cold slaw right is tricky (it went in the trash). The fries, marginal. Overall, they can resolve hunger growls. If you want really good chicken, service, and presentation is important, bypass Canes and get in the Chic-Fil-A line. The pricing is comparable and you wont be disappointed.
Chicken was dry and there was hair, that definitely wasnt mine, in my food. they also forgot my Texas toast in my meal. workers are incompetent and the girls who handed me my food were extremely unprofessional and too busy acting foolish and talking amongst themselves to give me my receipt. really disappointed.
Was happy to see one in Cuyahoga Falls finally! Drive thru was SUPER LONG but went quickly. They have 2 lines and people outside taking order similar to Chick Fil A. Tenders were really good, crispy and hot. Staff was friendly and really everything was efficiently being ran for the huge crowd they had there. Prices are average for tenders and fries, a 3 piece was plenty for me! For example, what pictured and a large drink, it was $8...not bad! Oh, and the grilled bread is the bomb. Love this place and will definitely be back. Great job guys!
Okay. I’m hooked. Such a simple concept yet so good. The sauce is something that’s just as addicting. Since the open I have had it four times and each time doesn’t disappoint.Despite the long lines that happen with any new business they keep the line flowing pretty well.Don’t pass it up. Try it. :p
So I went there today and I ordered 2 box combos. And 2 sandwiches and I live 5 minutes away from the store when I got to the store I wanted 20 minutes before the line started to move. My chicken was soggy and there always breading that was so soggy that it was just falling off the bread for my sandwiches were soggy also. And I ordered a sweet tea and a half and half and got 2 unsweetened teas and 6 extra canes sauce. And I didnt get any of those. I should of checked the bag before I left but I didnt think I would have too because the raising kanes in Kent is so much better been going there since 2013 so I decided to try something closer to home. I will always go back to the one in Kent. They have not one messed up an order of mine. Called the store and was on hold for 45 minutes. To try and get it fixedI will never go back to this canes location was the worst service ever
While I waited for my meal a kitchen worker was separating bread without gloves and wearing an outdoor coat. If he hadnt put his hand to his face mask multiple times I would assume he washed his hands but I now suspect he hadnt. I threw the bread out from my meal. Totally unhygienic!
I had a problem with my order but I live almost 40 minutes away and I tried to call the store 5 times before i left the area to get my problem fixed and nobody answered definitely upsetting seeing as I love you raising canes and I dont know if Ill be returning seeing as Noone got back too me
They smashed my Texas toast 😭Edit: decided to try this place again and I dont think Ill be returning it was worse then last time, any canes Ive been at can push a line except this one and when I finally got my food I got tenders and soggy falling apart breading, and my cup had half and half written on it and was literally a unsweetened tea, yall need to throw the whole the whole crew away and start over fresh this isnt okay, lady at the window was nice tho so theres that

2022-07-11Canes chicken fingers are not your average chicken fingers. Cane uses chicken breast that is breaded, and fried to perfection. I would’ve love it more if they offered a spicy version. Also understand this restaurant only offers chicken fingers. So there isn’t any chicken wings, thighs or breast. But they do offer chicken finger sandwiches.

2022-05-09Newer location. Inside is very clean. They have a large covered outdoor seating area, and the drive through has 2 speakers which made the line move quick. Customer service was just ok. When I got to the pick up window she asked if I payed yet, then was confused by what my order was (just a 3 finger box). Then she found it. Other than that, food was good.

2022-01-11My daughter loves this place. I on the other had feel they could do better. I should be able to order just chicken strips if I choose. I dont want fries or a drink but can only order a meal or order a meal for my daughter and I can add strips to the meal. Little tiny strips also. My favorite is the bread and it was cold had to go home and heat it up. Customer service was good but had to repeat my order 4 times before she got it right. Also went up on food prices and only been open a couple months. A 4 piece meal is $8.99. at least chicken is fresh

2022-06-26I’ve been a Canes supporter for over 15 years when I was introduced to your delicious sauce on OSU’s campus at 3AM after the bars closed down. The chicken fingers used to be decently sized and seemed like a value. These days, $15 for six dinky, warm chicken fingers is hardly a value. Yes inflation blah blah blah. I get it. I’ve been your biggest fan for over a decade and after several subpar experiences recently (wrong drink, no napkins, ketchup missing, missing chicken finger, rising prices, etc.), I just don’t think I can support your business any longer. We had a good run, but ultimately, like every other good run I’ve ever had, I’ve experienced continued disappointment. It just isn’t the same as it used to be, and frankly, that sucks. I’m not sure what changed in your business model other than growing and expanding, but any seasoned veteran of Raising Canes will tell you the same thing. I hope you find your way again.

2022-04-25Long story short… I went to canes in Kent about a month ago and found a hair in a drink we ordered… then today we looked at Canes in Cuyahoga reviews and thought this Canes would be different. NOPE FOUND HAIR IN MY FATHERS FOOD AS WELL ! My family and I are never going to any Raisin Canes restaurant ever again. So nasty. People should be required to wear hair nets when working with food. We didn’t order a side of hair to go with the food. 🤢🤮

2022-05-22Choices are limited as chicken fingers, fries and cole slaw are the three main items. Prices are high for what you get so find coupons if you can. You order then wait for them to call your name to go back up and get your food. Not recommending this place. Chick-Fil-A is much better.

2022-03-20If you like chicken fingers and want them fast and fried right this is your place. I can tell the chicken tenders they use are fresh real chicken tenderloins that you would buy fresh from the grocery store. But if chicken fingers are not your thing then just know its all they do. You can get then in a sandwich you can have then loose for dipping. Fries are good enough.... Texas toast and coleslaw are also just ok its a good filler..

2022-02-20The employee at the window tried to up charge me for honey mustard sauce didnt tell me that the cane sauce that came with it was their signature sauce and that was free honey mustard extra. When I got the 4 PC meal home I realized they were chicken strips the size of chicken knuckles.Better order 8pcs. The chicken was the most dry and tasteless I ever had but still better than the canes special sauce. Opened it up to taste it no smell its was brown as was the color. Do you sell a favor go to Barberton for some real chicken.
