Raising Canes Chicken Fingers in other cities:
Wow. We love to eat at Raising Canes. Any time we travel and find one we definitely eat at a Raising Canes. Basic menu but who needs more than what they offer...chicken tenders, fries, toast (which my entire crew of kids love), special sauce (which my son loves). My husband loves their tea. If you ever drive by a Raising Canes. Stop. If you see a crazy long line, get in that line!!!! It actually moves fairly fast and definitely worth that wait.
Voted Longest Drive-thru Lines in the city 3 years running. Theres a reason - its the delicious chicken. Lemonade is usually great here too. Dont be scared of the 20 cars in front of you, youll have chicken in 20 minutes. You came for tendies, dont be chicken and leave because of the line. Get an extra canes sauce, youre gonna need it.
This was the first experience iv had with canes where I was not satisfied. The Food itself was great but the customer service was awful. The guy at the pay window took my card put it in the machine and just walked off. Then I get to the pick up window and they were questiining me wheather I paid I said I did and the girl at the window was like show me your receipt. I totally understand its really busy with the dining room closed but customer service should not faulter as a result.
This is a drive through review. After many drive through visits this Canes is top notch. Excellent greeting every time. The payment exchange is superb also. The order accuracy has never wavered. Food taste and portions has always been spot on. You cant go wrong if you are looking for the best tasting chicken fingers Ive ever had. The bread is excellent also.
These arent just chicken fingers or chicken tenders these are chicken tenderloin finger the best in the city but its not the tenderloin that makes the tendon it its the tenderloin mixed with the amazing Secret Sauce they serve that brings out the burst of flavor when it hits your tongue. True story Lee eat it weekly and I will continue till the day I die I love Raising Canes.
Chicken was hot and fresh, fries were on the salty side that night and bread needed a little more toasting. I think due the line being around the building made a rush on things but everything was cooked throughly. I love this location because of the hours open and staff they are the best!
This is my first time I havent raising Canes and I have to say I was well please. Everything was fresh and that lemonade was the best lemonade Ive ever had! It wasnt too sweet! I wouldnt mind buying them it by a gallon. That sauce in the side for the chicken tenders was banging too!
I ordered a 75 piece the manager that was on duty at 10pm on 06/25/2020 was so rude when he brought out our food he couldn’t wait for me to open my car door and sat my food on the ground, by a dirty flower bed and rushed off.The man acted as if he didn’t want to serve me and my familyI am not a dog! In saying that, Do not put my food on the ground as such!!!!!!
I love Canes food, but Im tired of waiting 15 minutes in line for the wrong item. Multiple times at this location, Ive ordered UNsweet tea and have been given sweet tea. The fun, little jingles that the staff do when you pull up to order are nice, but listening to my order would be a lot nicer
One of several locations in Columbus. Good fried chicken strips. Four is more than enough for dinner. The chicken was tasty, tender and not dried out. Although I did think the fries had too much salt. This location is north of the Ohio State campus. It is never as busy as the one on High St.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN COLUMBUS.Waited in the drive through for about 20 minutes while everyone else in front of us was being served. Drive thru stopped all of a sudden. We (along with another 10-20 cars) waited another 10 minutes or so. Someone came out and told us they didnt open until 2:00. Why did they serve about 15 cars before us then? They just decided to lie to shorten their line.Wont ever return because theyll just lie when theyre feeling lazy.
Im getting really sick and tired of the drive thru being packed. This is the situation for almost every raising canes because they dont want to open the inside. EVERY single time I drive to this location the drive thru is packed with cars. Going to have to set an alarm and come here when they first open in order to ever get food from here...
I have never had an issue with this location. I am always given the quality service I expect and it is always faster than I expect as well. I enjoy the team there too as they are always so friendly and efficient. I have been here many times and I have never experienced a bad or incorrect order. They do an awesome job. Keep up the amazing work!
This review is directed to the Driver of the Raising Canes delivery truck this morning. Food truck was parked parallel to the drive-through windows and he was using the back door to deliver items with his dolly. The customer infront of me stared to move up, then she stopped abruptly in-between windows (because she though first window was working for payment, but sat back in her car and waited after she was told payment and food would be at 2nd window). This had caused me to stop abruptly behind her and I waited patiently for her to move.Delivery man came out of his truck, and cursed at me for being in his path to the back door, then deliberately hit my car twice with his dolly as I sat in the tight space with no where to go. Employee at the window said managers name is Quin, and he would let him know what happened. I was in a rush for work so had to leave.
Went to the Raising Canes off of Olentangy Rd. 1st time. Employees were nice per usual, but I asked for NO coleslaw on my two orders of the caniac combo just substitute them for extra toast & ended up getting 2 coleslaws anyways 😕 Other than that I have no complaints 😉
Recent experiences have not been good at all. My last visit in particular its become clear this location is starting to decline in every quality possible.Rude staff, cold food, and there is ALWAYS a line no matter what time of the day. The only redeeming factor is the value of what you get in their combos.Their ice machine must be currently broken and there was no explanation why my soda had no ice in it.
The drive through is frequently wrapped all the way around the building but it always moves so quickly! sometimes the food can be a little inconsistent as far as saltiness, temperature, etc., but it always tastes delicious and the service is super quick. big caniac over here :)
We ordered 3 caniac combo. They did not add the coleslow for all the meals. One meal was missing the two breads and was only 5 fingers not 6. I gave 3 stars because when we called they said come and get a full refund and we went and got a refund because all the meals were missed up. We always drive more minuts and go to this specific one because the chicken has a good and special tast than other branches, so i am not sure why this time the food was missed up. Also the fries was not fresh this day.
You just cant say enough good things about the absolute deliciousness of Canes. I make it a point to stop at Canes whenever I am in Columbus. We dont have Canes in Tampa . So it is such a treat when I am in town . its like Crack chicken with that sauce . 😋 keep it coming Canes ♡
Foods great, but the employees are more rude and unfriendly everyday. Definitely no respect for customers, they’ll just act out and treat anyone they want like they’re lesser than them. A lot of ghetto attitudes for the late shifters, not really going to return to this location anymore.
Great chicken tenders. Good atmosphere. Canes sauce is legendary, and the French fries and toast are both above average. The only reason it loses a star is because of the pricing. There is better value for fast food elsewhere, however dont let that stop you from giving canes a try. This location compares favorably to the other ones Ive been at.
I was really impressed with raising canes! I went for dinner around 5 or 6pm on a weekend, ordered to dine in, and had my food within a reasonable 10 minutes. Everything came out piping hot and fresh. The chicken was a little salty, but it was cooked perfectly and totally satisfied my fast food and chicken craving.
The drive through service was horrible.i didnt even know I was supposed to order because she never said anything. They never said hi. When we got to the first drive through she never spoke either or said thank you the second drive through horrible customer service as well. I think Ill stick to the west locations and Hillard. This isnt a true raising canes with the employees they chose. Smh but the upside the food was amazing thats why I gave 3 stars
The line at the drive thru will appear to be very long and you may think to yourself uggh, I will just go to McDonalds. Dont do it! They are super fast and friendly here. I have been in a line that wrapped around the building and waited less than five minutes to place my order and receive my delicious food. Canes chicken fingers are the best fast food chicken fingers I have had and the Canes sauce is super tasty. Highly recommended for a quick bite to eat at an affordable price.
I love the chicken and bread mostly and thats when the right people are there making food but some people on certain shifts just dont know how to follow simple directions with peoples orders at these locations. As in when people say EXTRA Crispy thats exactly what they mean where its a little more than just golden brown. Also sometimes I feel like its not even fully cooked and has a funny meat smell but besides that and when the right people who actually do there job is there its just right with good customer service...
I have seriously never been to a Raising Canes as good as this location. The staff was AMAZING. They had an energetic, friendly/caring & hard-working staff. They had a line almost out the door when we came but they were getting everyone taken care of in such a timely manner and we received our food quick & fresh. We had someone come around and ask us if he could refill our drinks. They just went above & beyond!
We were Raising Cane’s first timers. Easily the best chicken strips I’ve ever had. Even the toast was amazing. I’m not sure how that’s even possible. The only change I would make is fresh cut fries instead of crinkle cut, but you can’t have everything you want all the time. It took maybe five minutes for them to call our name for the order and they apologized for the wait. We will definitely be back.
I have no complaints with this Canes branch. Theyre fast, efficient and theyve gotten my order right everytime I go there. Great fried Chicken and great ice tea. But if your looking for something a little more high quality then you might want to try Hot Chicken Take Over. But Canes has great quality for the price you pay!
Ive been coming here for over 10 years without an issue. For my 3 most recent orders, my order was wrong each time. Prior to this, I cant remember a single time that my order was wrong. I dont know whats changed, but its time for me to take a break. Please start checking your orders before you hand them out.
Love it!! Even though they are currently drive through only and the line was long everyone seemed patient and the workers were nice and also efficient. It is worth waiting for!! We have to travel 100 miles to the closest one to us. So we make it a small road trip and include Canes!!
Rude workers, terrible customer service. Went there today, no greeting, no Hi or How are you. And no, Have a nice day. Just terrible attitude and terrible etiquette from all of the female workers. Clean up the act or I wont be back.Update: tried to come here and the drive thru was wrapped around the building because everyone is greedy. Tried to go inside, get stopped by a worker saying the manager closed the inside. This is the dumbest location.
Very delicious tenders! The special sauce is where its at. We also substitute the coleslaw for extra toast. The portions are good - we often get the Caniac and share between two people. This location has a very quick drive through. The area around the restaurant is under construction so there is not a lot of parking.
Great food with a nicer sit-down area than most fast food joints. The coleslaw that comes with you chicken and fries is really pretty good! Not that acid green junk from KFC or the store. Open real late on Saturday nights till 3 am including the in house seating area. Great for late night hunger after an evening out.
Stopped in for a quick bite and was pleasantly greeted by the front cashier CeCe she was fast and efficient really made me glad I chose to eat here. Got our food within minutes the shortest wait time we’ve had in a long time regarding faster food. And was sent off with a smile what a great team member thanks for feeding us
The food is always fresh and good. In case you arent a great fan of Texas Toast (as me) then you can exchange it for more french fries (love them). The atmosphere is great compared to the other places at University Center, and luckily for us, Canes isnt moving anywhere. Always check their promotions, they always have something great to offer!
Great staff at the counter, very friendly and helpful. Very accommodating as I have a son with a Major Dairy allergy, the looked up all the ingredients in the items we were wanting to get for our son to make sure there was no dairy in them. Portions are amazing for the price.
The best chicken strips I have ever had! I dont like chicken strips but these are do good & moist even when they get cold & you warm them up theyre still moist. Fries & their bread along with the sauces is out if this world! Great prices!!! You must try Raising Canes Chicken
Poorly positioned store; awkward to navigate drive-thru. Order-taker seemed stressed and rushed through the dialouge. Food was fast, but chicken was small, fries were soggy, and toast was cold. Seems like a small menu may not be the recipe for perfection if the product isnt delivered in a satisfactory manner.
Despite what people think, the canes sauce is for the toast. I know, it tastes good on the chicken, and the toast is already amazing by itself. But seriously, no slaw extra toast every time. (The slaw is mediocre anyway compared to the toast). Always fast and friendly service.
When I first started eating at Canes I really liked it. The chicken fingers were a decent size but at least over the last year they seemed to be getting much smaller and Ive noticed this at every location Ive been. This last time they gave me 3 that were not much bigger than my thumb. And I dont have large thumbs. This has been pretty consistent lately. I was generous in giving 3 stars just for the fact I still like the food but wont come here as often now. Ive included a picture. Its not much bigger than the cup the Cains sauce comes in and we all no those arent very big.
I give this location 5 stars because of the manager Joshua. I had a messed up order through the drive thru that I didnt know of until I got home. Came back and spoke to Joshua and he took care of me promptly and professionally during the busy dinner rush. As I was waiting for my replacement order (which only took a couple of minutes), one of the order takers had a poor attitude and said under his breath that this job is irritating which wasnt pleasant to hear. I am satisfied though.
Just drove in a snow storm to go to the Olentangy location to grab 2 caniac combos 4 sauce and 2xtra bread! Normally my fav. Well after getting home BOTH MEALS were missing the slaw which is the little delicacy on the tray.... I called the location for an associate named Siana to tell me a manager was not available when I said I would hold for one she HUNG UP ON ME. I called back only to have another girl named Ashley tell me a manager wasnt available and laughed at me and also HUNG UP. I called back to get someone named James James Horrible and not helped
Ordered for a large family meal. They parked me for extra time to prepare it. You would think that extra time would allow for accuracy, but no, I should have looked in tbe bag before leaving. Had ordered 8 sides, two of them fries, that were missing. Frustrating when you are too far to return to get what you paid for.
As a whole, the price of your meal for the food you get is a little high. The food is usually pretty good. My issue with this place is the staff. They very rarely can figure out how to do a special order, or cash out a coupon or promotional reward with their cash register. Further, if you ask for condiments (ketchup, salt, hot sauce) they will give you one packet per box you receive. If you ask for more it is an instant attitude with whomever you are dealing with. I have had this issue on several occasions.
I really love Raising Canes! If youve never been it should be known they ONLY do chicken fingers, there is no other option. But they do chicken fingers well! The bread and the lemonade is also delicious. Plus theyll probably give you a laugh when they greet you! this particular restaurant is great, friendly staff, clean place and great food.
Great food flavors but... Their unique flavored dipping sauce makes all the difference to what I think is average chicken fingers. They only give you a small cup of cole slaw. I would like to see them try a double batter dipped finger as i think sometimes not enough batter sticks to them. Texas Toast is flavorful and an ample amount of fries and a drink rounds off your meal. All this comes at a price though, a 4 finger meal is closer to $10 than to $5.
Food was good but the pieces were very, very small. My 4 piece box meal had the amount of chicken less than a 3 piece meal usually does. My whole family left disappointed and ripped off. Each piece was about the size of the dipping cup... seriously. They usually throw in an extra piece or two when they are that small.
This place has great staff and food - the one-star-lower rating here is NOT on their service, but probably location-related.I have probably been here 20-30 times. I dont think Ive ever complained to staff. There are often groups of loud college students. Messes are made quickly. And the drive-thru line is rarely short. If you are near another location, I would suggest that option. Or come here with headphones and lysol wipes.
Good food that is comparable to none fast food wise. The Caniac meal is almost 11 dollars but it absolutely worth every bit of it. At just 30 minutes to close i came through their drive thru and they were super fast and polite, i couldn’t have spent more than 3 minutes from beginning to end of the process. This is now the best Canes i know of and definitely recommend. They are open till midnight most nights so it is good even if on the bar scene near OSU campus.
Although their menu options pretty much only consist of Chicken Strips, Fries, Garlic Toast, and Coleslaw...Their Special Dipping Sauce is sooo good that I dip Everything in it but the coleslaw! And their Sweet Tea is so good that they even offer the option to buy it by the gallon! This place has the perfect atmosphere to come in and sit for a quick bite to eat. Or you can go through the drive thru and take it home. They even have the option to order large amounts if you are hosting a party or gathering. If you are in the mood for Chicken&Fries, this is definitely the place to go!
The chicken was alright but nothing to write home about. Same goes for the fries. The coleslaw was not great either. Those alone deserve a 3 star rating, not bad but could be much better. The reason for the 4 stars is the bread and the sauce. I would love to put the Canes sauce on everything I could
Every single thing in their box lunch is greasy, mostly deep-fried. I would not eat there very often because of the unhealthy grease in all that fried food. The main item is breaded fried chicken tenders. They are good, but unhealthy. I also think they are too expensive for what you get. They include French fries in every package, with no healthy option, like fruit or crudites. To make it worse, a greasy Texas toast is added.
Chicken fingers. Thats pretty much it. But theyre good chicken fingers and their Canes sauce is very tasty! I wish they sold it in bulk. But if you dont want chicken fingers, dont come here, because youll be disappointed if you think you could also get a fish or a burger or anything but chicken fingers.
Wow, I usually love Canes, but this trip was not cool. The line was around the building - literally - and while thats not a problem or anyones fault - how do I end up with stale chicken? Breading was hard and chicken was dry. Fries were fine. But the tea was sweetened and I specifically asked for unsweetened as I hate sweetener in my tea. Ill try it again because Ive always had a great experience at multiple locations (including this one) but Ill come in to it with a bit of skepticism. By the way, the line moved very fast - good job on that score, but food was not good.
You are not coming here for gourmet chicken. You are coming for fried chicken like your mother makes. The chicken is fresh and comes out too hot to eat. You get a heap of fries (not the best fries in the world but a great way to eat more sauce) and I get two pieces of texas toast (substitute one for the slaw) - the toast is really good and even better dipped in the sauce. You can never go wrong with Canes.
They had my order wrong , I ordered the caniac meal and they charged me for it , but they gave me 4 tenders instead of 6 , I called the place and I talked to the manager and I told him what was wrong with the order and he argued with me and told me that he knows the order wasn’t messed up because he made the food , and I told him he was wrong and he said he can look at the camera and see that he put the right amount , he was very rude and disrespectful, but the food was hot and delicious
I have had Canes just about in every location in tge city of Columbus this one by far and hands down is 5 notches above the rest I usually order the box combo and get it to go so I can take the left overs hone with me I ate every last piece of chicken fries Cole slow bread and I was wanting more, this is an amazing location in every meaning and way possible if I was the owner of this company I would recommend this location for anyone who never had Canes before in their lives because I am sure they will be hooked for thre rest of their lives. Thanks to all workers at this location great work keep it up.
Your standard chicken fare. Try the Box Combo. Ofcourse the fingers are decent and juicy but their main USP is their secret sauce. You can definitely order the other fares such as the chicken Sandwich but then why would you want to when you have awesome chicken fingers.
We were visiting from Toledo (where there are no raising canes!) and it was my birthday and my hubby had His 18 month mri and found out theres still no cancer so we were in a celebratory mood. We were there as soon as they opened (which i know is totally annoying but we had to head back to toledo and it had been a year since i had some canes!) but the guy at the register had great energy, the food was amazing and the restaurant was sooo clean. I hope to see one in Toledo someday soon 😀
Im not understanding why they are not opening their lobbies back up now I have to admit I have eaten here a couple of times the chicken is delicious the toast is delicious but on yesterday I had to pick up a postmate order there when I tell you the line was literally wrapped around the corner of course I canceled the ride and moved on but they are slow as hell
Our family stopped in lunch while visiting Columbus. All of us ordered the chicken fingers for our meals. The chicken was fantastic! The breading was excellent while the meat was juicy and delicious. The sauce was slamming, taking the chicken to the next level. The cole slaw was average at best and Im not a big fan of krinkle cut french fries. There can be a bit of a wait but the chicken more than makes up for that.
Say no slaw. Substitute toast. They give you sauce. Fries cold. I can live with all of that. But when you ask for a diet and they give you iced tea loaded with ice. I draw the line. I dont do tea. Iced or hot. And of course you dont know until you mix it with your liquor of choice. Well there is a waste of alcohol.

2022-03-29I love canes. The menu is incredibly simply so you know what you’re getting. The inside is coated in different posters and pictures which gives it its own style! The customer service at this location is wonderful👍

2022-02-18The lady at the 1st window who takes your cash or card during weekday lunch is one of nicest people ever! Always smiling, always asks how your day is, and not in a corporate forced way, just her authentic self. All Canes have long lines, this one is no exception. But, order is always hot and fresh, the staff is nice, and it goes quick for as many cars are in line.

2022-07-16I have never been to a “Raising Canes” before. I picked this particular location due to an abundance of positive reviews. I ordered the traditional box that is supposed to come with 4 chicken fingers, coleslaw, fries, and Texas toast. However, my meal came with 5 chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast, but no coleslaw. Now, I absolutely love that mayonnaise and cabbage delight, so I was ready to spit/fight/ring somebody’s neck about the missing coleslaw. I calmed myself down enough to try a taste of the chicken.... oh wow.... it’s out of this world... juicy, crispy, warm, wet, savory, salty, crunchy..: MY GOD!!! MAY GOD EXHALT YOU AND FORGIVE YOUR SIN! LET THE BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST ALMIGHTY WASH OVER YOU SO YOU MAY BEGIN ANEW. IN JESUS NAME , AMEN!

2022-07-02Went for lunch at the peak of lunch rush. The counter help took our order and wereFast and efficient. Foodnwas prepared in a matter of minutes. Aside from the traffic in the parking lot, as its a shared lot with McDonalds and can get backed up if you are using the drive thru.

2022-04-05I was in Columbus visiting for a few days and this place was right by my hotel. Everytime I drove by the drive thru line was ridiculously long. I ordered my food online for pickup and now I know what the line was for... this place was amazing. Everything tasted super fresh and the Canes sauce is different but soooo good.

2022-06-13Delicious fried chicken! Seriously the best; especially if in a hurry. Note, it gets very busy around lunch. Expect a wait, especially in the drive through.

2022-02-14Food is okay. They are drive through only, but there are no signs for that. They will tell you that they can not accept any rewards cards or deals. You have to ask for the manager to get your rewards deal. Annoyed that the buy one get one still charges you a dollar for the free box.
