The wine was fantastic and Ben was extremely knowledgeable. We learned all about various aspects of how different wines are made and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend and we will go back next time we are in Ohio.
BRIGHT FUTURE FOR QUARRY HILL WINERY!Emily, the wine room manager is a delightful woman, filled with youthful energy, marketing wisdom, glowing warmth and hospitality. She is a hard worker, from pouring wine to preparing luscious food while keeping the wine room in pristine condition. Most of all she is the consummate hostess! Excited to see her touch on the winery fully blossom!
We come here often, a fantastic winery!!!!I just would like to post the following, it’s Sunday July 5 at noon having a great bottle of Buckeye Red on the deck. A family stopped by with their dog and was advised that dogs are prohibited. The staff made arrangements for a to go order and the gentleman was not pleased and spoke of a negative review.The staff here is amazing so don’t let a negative review sway you please visit this winery!!
Best Lobster bisque I have had in a long time. Honey mead was awsome to!
Nice atmosphere, we really enjoyed the wine and appetizers. Lots outdoor and indoor seating. There is a pavilion so you can be outside even when it rains.

The venue and property itself are beautiful and well done. Nice outside area to drink the wines at a good social distance. We had the cabernet franc and it was decent. Too many kids running around though.The gourmet cheese plate was way overpriced for a few slices of apple, a few hunks of cheese and like 5 pcs of salami. Asked the waitress to bring us plates but she never came back.
Good selection of wine. Had a red blend which was very good. The cheese tray was more than enough for two.
Wonderful time. Food was very good. Informed of wines that are returning. Especially peach. Looking forward to returning soon very soon. Very relaxing except 😌
Beautiful establishment, beautiful scenery, great food and okay drinks. Older woman named Becky was very rude and is the reason it’s only three stars. Customer service classes should be explored.
The wine was really good but I can’t believe how RUDE the bartenders were. We asked about their wines 2 different times having 2 different bartenders and both acted like they did not want us there. If you don’t want us there don’t work at a winery!! We asked simple questions about their wines, and they just were not in the mood to answer them. We had our masks on and were very nice, so there was no reason for them to treat us with disrespect.

The venue is gorgeous. We tried all the reds and one of the whites. We couldnt finish any of the wines. If we go back to listen to music and sit outside, we will drink the beer.
Great atmosphere and good reasonably priced wine. Was kinda chilly so we didnt get to enjoy the fire pit. Looking forward to next time.
I want to give a shout out to Rita She went above and beyond to make my time at the winery a pleasant one . When my cousin,my friend,and I walk in there was no were to sit she immediately found chairs for us and explained that as soon as a table was available she would let us know and that is what she did. This place is so good and amazing. Loved their different kinds of wines and their 3 cheese Panini was amazing a must have. The staff was amazing and wonderful. The scenery is like Your in France. A must visit again in the future.
Fantastic place! Delicious food and beverages! I say that because they have more to drink than wine. Lol Amazing views of the vineyard and in the distance you can see Lake Erie. Lots of spacious seating indoor and outdoor. Special events and entertainment are also on their calendar. I hope to be there more often in the summer and fall. Definitely a place to stop for an evening or a couple hours in the afternoon.
I absolutely love Buckeye Red! I live in Atlanta Georgia and I have to get my Buckeye Red everytime I come home 😍. The atmosphere here is stunning. What a great place to relax and sip a wonderful glass of wine😍
This winery has some great wines and a nice atmosphere, but service was to be desired. It started with being asked for ID in a rude manner, before even being greeted, despite us being with my parents and being over legal age. As our visit went on though, there were several things which made us unhappy. New wine samples were poured in with existing wine instead of being rinsed. We ordered the hummus and pita, then when served crackers, they didnt apologize, just said it was an old menu. Even while tasting, there was a lack of personality and conversation from the people serving at the counter. All four of us left disappointed. That said, the wines were some of the best weve tasted in the region. It was also a great location, in an enjoyable location overlooking the vineyards. Maybe service was just off when we visited, but I think they still have to work on rounding off the experience.

Had a 3 cheese panini and some excellent wine!! If you like dry wines try the petite Sirah. And for the sweeter side try the blueberry wine. Delish!!!! The staff was wonderful and I will definitely come again!!
The wine and the food were excellent as always. Never been there in the winter time, but made it feel just as good as being there in the Summer.
Amazing place to stop, try a few wines, and take several bottles home. My wife is a big fans of the cabs they have offered and I enjoy the fruit wines. The cherry wine and the Buckeye Red are extremely tasty!

This is a nice place to get a bottle of wine and sit outside right now. The wine is pretty good for Ohio. The scenery is wonderful - overlooks to orchard where you can pick apples.

We had a wonderful time wine tasting! Buckeye Red was our favorite. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. We loved the cozy atmosphere and were looking forward to coming out again.
Visited several wineries in the area, this place was beautiful, unfortunately the servers were not very friendly. We didnt even stay 20 minutes. Out of the 6 wineries we went to that day, this place ended up being my least favorite, only because the staff was not very good😞.
We went to this winery after seeing them as one of the top 9 wineries in the area in the Lake Erie Shores and Islands book. However after driving a half hour to get there we were told that they are not pet friendly.I explained we were setting outside on the patio, but again I was told they do not allow pets anywhere on their grounds and it states that on their website. They should also make sure that it states their pet policy in the ads they put in the area guides to save all pet owners the drive there.
Absolutely beautiful area and building. It makes me feel like Im at a huge California vineyard. Wines are a bit expensive in my opinion, but staff makes up for high prices.
I really enjoyed the wines, the atmosphere, and the folks working the bar/tastings. The food was a bit overpriced for what you get (meat sampler = lunch meat) but all in all a good experience.
Awesome place. If youre apple picking, huge selection of apples and the trees were loaded, although depending on how good the harvest is year to year will affect this. The owner was there and was super friendly and personable.
OK wine. Cabernet is pretty good. They nickel & dime you though. $1.00 per taste sip? Costs more to have a bottle there than to take it out. Go figure. There are better wineries around.
Loved the atmosphere and especially the band - Chapter 3! There is no dance area and would have enjoyed dancing. A couple of people tried and kept bumping into tables. Buckeye Red wine is WONDERFUL!
I like the area, the Grounds, the building, the views, the atmosphere, and the wine, especially Buckeye Red, very fruity. However the snack plates and panini sandwich is very expensive for what you get. They do have bus tours stopping there which makes service slower than usual.

VERY dissatisfied on a hot afternoon there was NO ice once you would sit outside WINE got WARM from sun on a nice afternoon tried to ENJOY THE weather asked for ice water told also WE had TO drink warm tap water when asked server was told ice was ONLY available on weekends establishments should HAVE ice available to customers whether its a weekday OR weekends esp WITH hot weather
Loved the view and the Buckeye red. Service could have been better. We have visited over 60 winery so far and our person seemed off. Will try it again.
They could have had good wine but they didn’t allow a puppy outside so we left. They last could have been nicer about it but very rude

Me and my husband have been going to quarry hill for the last couple of years. Their wines are the best and the picturesque view are peaceful and relaxing. One of the best wineries i have ever been to...
We were trying to go to cheese haven but they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday so we came here. Im so glad they were closed because we never would have came here. Awesome service and great wine/food! Everyone should come up!

Pick your own apples. Enormous variety; including apples Im sure youve never heard of. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. $20 to fill a half bushel and eat as many apples as you can along the way. I would highly recommend this place!

Apple season has begun! Still lots of fresh nectarines and peaches and there are also pairs here. Apple cider is delicious and will only increas in yumminess as the season continues.

2020-09-08My fiancé and I spent a rainy Labor Day perusing Quarry Hill’s fermented delights.The area is just beautiful, as opposed to Western Ohio, rolling hills and their accompanying beautiful verandas makes the setting top notch. The ample indoor and outdoor seating combined with a very tall ceiling and elegant windows of the winery proper draw you in and promote a relaxed yet refined vibe.We sampled most of the available wines. My favorite was the Buckeye Red. The ice wine, mead, and assorted beers combine to serve any palate.The service was quick and pleasant.My only complaint was the meat plate, but #Covid may have affected this offering

2021-05-21Beautiful atmosphere. Wine is good and they have a decent light food menu. Not a place you want to go with more than 5 or 6 people to your group, however. Both times that I had a group of more than that on a random slow week day the bartender made it very clear that we were inconveniencing her somehow. That attitude was given without there being a single other patron in the place other than our group of 10 the one time, and 8 the other. Same goes for when I’ve rented/been to the back room for parties. Just not a friendly welcoming vibe like you get at the orchard down the hill. I don’t have that problem when I’ve been there with a small group so if you’ve only got a few people you should have an okay overall experience.
