Positive: Rooms were clean, staff made beds and provided fresh towels daily. Hot and cold breakfast was better than the website suggested. Subway,Arbys,Wendys in walking distance. Negative: Only restaurant nearby that is not fast-food is Dennys which had terrible service.
If we could give this place a zero rating we would. Horrible customer service. Front desk couldn’t do anything without Manager/owner. Booked a week and work changed our plans so we wouldn’t be staying as long. Owner had already charged full amount on company card before we ever arrived. Asked Manager/Owner to call us and never did.
No warm water at all first two mornings and no water pressure in shower. Toilet would barely flush. No strike plate on the door jam which left my room un-secure… w/o antilock being activated latch can be picked. I Left a note for Manager to call me to discuss. NO call back.
Usually quality inns hotels are a low budget hotel but this quality inn gave us great service a great pool area and great service. Between how nice the rooms were and the pool area was supreme I feel this quality in is at least a three and a half star hotel. Hotels like Hampton inn Best Western and Marriott are three stars and four star hotels and this quality inn was in that area of 3 to 4 star hotels
Beds were comfortable, price was OK and staff (all 1 of them) was very nice and helpful. Rooms are very dated, door barely closed and needed to be forced, no towels for showering and didnt realize it till I was committed so I used a clean hand towel.....lol. Shower and toilet need some help. All in all it needs severe updating.
No elevator on-site, so it was a bit of an inconvenience hauling luggage up the stairs. The staff(of one) was not very friendly. Our room was very basic, which would have be fine if it had been throughly cleaned. There was trash on the bathroom floor and hairs on the walls and show/tub. The room was also outdated and didnt have outlets anywhere near the bed. There were also stains on the sheets and desk chair. Would definitely not visit again..
We wanted to get off the road in the rain and pulled in ready for a family adventure. They were so kind and got us in quickly and even had a pack n play for our son and free breakfast. Beds were comfy and clean, no complaints here for a cheaper, quick unintended stay!
I gave 3 stars because the bed was clean, comfy and No bugs. They did have the pool open (not many hotels do since covid) and a hot breakfast. Gentlemen at the front desk was kind and helpful. The hotel is dated, and could definitely be cleaned a LOT better vacuuming/dusting/bath floors, but the basics were good.
Originally I would have given this location 4 stars, as it seemed like your standard budget hotel with signs of aging but which is pretty clean without major issues. However, I have to go with 3 stars once I went to use the bathroom and discovered an unflushed toilet. What bothers me about this is not so much another guests urine and toilet paper being present but rather the implication that the toilet could not have been cleaned between guests or else this would have been noticed. The shower curtain had been pulled back into the bar in the bathtub and towels had been replenished, so its not as if housekeeping missed the bathroom entirely. It made me worry that corners were being cut during cleaning - not something a guest wants to be worried about during a resurging pandemic.Otherwise the hotel was as expected. The breakfast was better than what most hotels have been serving during COVID, so that was nice. That said, you may want to plan on eating in your room if youre one of the few Ohioans who, like me, *doesnt* enjoy starting your day with Fox News.
The website clearly states pet friendly. I have a senior chihuahua that can’t be boarded so I needed a decent hotel to stay for 2 nights to attend a celebration of like for my brother in law and it was very unexpected and had no way to plan. We get there and there’s signs everywhere saying no pets it was 10pm and I was forced to lie and sneak my dog in. For the funeral I tried to find boarding and couldn’t so I was forced to lock my dog in the room. And pray no one came in and took him to the pound or something. The beds and pillows were comfy and the room was pretty clean. The shower pressure sucked bad. And it looked crummy. The corridors aren’t temperature controlled but the AC in the room was nice. The second night I killed a brown bug the size of a long pinky fingernail. It had a smooth back so it could have been a field bug or something. It didn’t have ridges on its back and I didn’t see any in the bed. It was on the side table. It was nice there was a fridge and microwave. The pool was kinda neat but it was too cold. The hot ton had caution tape. The indoor pool was like old school and retro and kinda fun but had a layer of creepy to it. My niece said it looked like a murder pool. All in all we needed a place to sleep in an emergency and it was cheap and comfortable other than the shower.pressure. My father in law liked the breakfast but he will eat anything. My biggest warning is if you neeed to have your pet with you and are worried about leaving them alone in the room, find somewhere else for peace of mind.
Upon arrival I was informed that they did not have any available rooms for service animals. Reservations and a phone call to the facility had been made approximately 2 weeks before arrival stating we would be bringing service animals. They did make room for us however the rooms were on the second floor. This facility does not have an elevator. With us both being above the age of 65 this made it very difficult for us to carry things to our rooms. The morning of our departure I fell down a portion of their stairs bruising my arm badly and wrenching my back and neck. It remains to be seen what the management plans to do about this as I will be needing to seek medical attention. Their stairwells are steep and definitely not designed for elderly people. I would not recommend this facility to anyone that has issues with climbing steps.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Go anywhere else…pay the little bit of extra money for a better hotel!!! The hotel reeks of smoke. The beds were COVERED in STAINS!!!! The front desk was rude the entire time we were trying to explain to them the situation with the room. They REFUSED to help and REFUSED to give us our refund back. They said there was nothing they could do and that is the only room they were going to give us!!
We booked the room while heading home. We were exhausted. However they told me my card wasnt good enough to be used there and I needed to go get 250 dollara out of the ATM and bring that back. The room cost less than 70. So, deposit 4 times the amount. Hmmm, nah thats sus. I called choice brands they called the hotel. The hotel chose to charge our card with out us being present and wouldnt allow us to check in with out handing over 250 cash. Make it make sense.
Very disappointed in our stay here. Our jacuzzi room was dirty. I had to clean the Jacuzzi before we could use it. Cobwebs in the room. Iron and ironing board broken. Employees to busy outside smoking so we couldnt even bring these things to thier attention until check out. We were not told about the security deposit upon booking. Overall very bad expierience. Weve stayed here on numerous occasions after this trip we wont anymore.
I already have low expectations of hotels. I understand they can never be the same as staying at home or up to your own personal standards. All I ask is that they are as reasonably clean as possible. This particular room seemed like your hotel was low on help so whoever got the room ready took many shortcuts hoping the next customer would not notice.
Positive: Breakfast was pretty good. They let us use a grill to fix hot dogs. I was there with my 2 grandkids and my sister, and 2 of her grandkids. We had 2 rooms & stayed 2 nights. We were camping and got rained out. This was a great alternative! Negative: Only thing that was bad was while we were eating breakfast we were told we had to leave so she could clean.
Shady and condescending acting like this was normal ive stayed in hotels numerous times was never charged prior to arrival.. 7am im still in my won bed havent even traveled to the destination yet and im already charged when i had same day cancelation still available.. shady as heck
The shower was inoperable, the bed was absolutely uncomfortable, the refrigerator had no freezer and the refrigerator itself didnt really get cold. That and I could hear my neighbors talking and their TV. I told the lady at the front desk in the morning but her response was something like, ok ill let them know. I wont be coming back to this place. Ever.
Very pleased with our visit! Check-in was quick and easy, room was clean and comfortable with plenty of TV options. Pool opened before check-out, so the kiddo was able to swim before we left. Continental breakfast was hot and good with a clean dining room. No complaints, reasonable price, will definitely stay there when were in the area again!
This was a good stay, but with all the troubles in staying connected to the internet it could have been better. Every time I connected I would stay connected for a couple of minutes and then be disconnected. At some point I gave up and just used my phone as a hot spot to be connected.
The people I spoke to were very friendly, however, there were a few different issues I ran into. First, there was a terrible smell from someone making food and it lingered throughout the hallway. There were also a few things wrong with the room. The comforter had a stain on it and under the bed there was a cigarette pack and Wendys wrapper which didnt help me think highly of the cleanliness of the rooms. However, the TV and the internet was great. It was a good place to stay for just one night. Anything more would leave me mortified.
The room was spacious and well maintained. The air conditioning unit was very noisy. The breakfast was adequate. Breads were fresh. Fruit was ample. I do not care for the instant coffee that was available. Check in was quick and easy. The non smoking room did not smell of stale smoke, but the entrance/stairway did.
Nice staff, place was under construction while we were there so to say it was a mess is an understatement. They could have done a little better cleaning up after them selves after finishing for the day. Also vending machine wasn’t working, nice front desk people let us have free range of the juice machines out worked out fine. Pool was recently renovated so we spent a lot of time there having fun. It was -20 out and the pool inside was a nice temperature to swim for hours.
Bed bugs in rooms 109 & 107. Approximately at 2am I found several of the bugs in different stages -Nymph to Adult. I collected about 3-4 of the adults into a plastic baggie and took them to the front desk. My family and I left the Inn immediately in fear of getting bitten and having them getting into our bags and traveling home with us. It was very difficult to reach any type of manager. Even though I did receive a refund, I still plan on contacting the Fayette County Health Dept. Environmental Division. The General Manager Nimish or Owner should do the right thing by acknowledging the pests are in the Inn and take care of the issue.
Rented jaccuzi room for one night. Didnt know I would rent it the next night which I did to my surprise we noticed the bed had same sheets and cover with burn holes. Also trucker stood out side the exit door propped open with cigarette ash holder the hall nexed to room 202 smelled of smoke I told manager only to notice three employees smoking holding the front open. The manager was allowing people to smoke and let the stink come inside
Rooms werent very clean. Fridge didnt work &when I told the front desk he said he couldnt do anything about it ,however, the lady working the following day said he could have moved me to a different room as soon as I bring it to his attention. Instead all my food I just bought went bad and they never compensated me for. Oh and lets not forget that they charged my debit card 2 times after I paid cash on the same days! Wouldnt recommend anyone to stay there!!
The lady (a definite asset to the hotel) at the check in desk was friendly and efficient, even called our room shortly after check in to make sure everything was satisfactory. Water pressure was low(they said at the desk it would be fine in 30 minutes) but I took a shower w no problem. Bed was comfortable, wonderful pillows. Room was clean. AC worked well (it was 88 out). Nice pool. Easy access from the freeway. Good, substantial breakfast. I would recommend this place 100%.
My bestfriend and I stayed at the Quality Inn, Washington Court House/ Jeffersonville, on 3/1/19&3/2/19We understand they are remodeling. However there were some things that didnt have anything to do with remodeling, we had issues with. Our pillow cases smelled like stale cigarettes. We are in a non-smoking room. The wifi would not connect for either of us. We have verizon and tmobile. I have an android and she has an iphone. Nothing would work. The front desk even tried for us. Although they are under construction, the hallway could have been vacuumed at least. Paint all over carpet and dust. Plus no ventilation and all we smelled was paint. The charging ports in our room for the usb cords, wouldnt work. Shower curtain has what appeared as blood stains on it. And worse of all. We had a blanket that smelled of stale cigarettes, but also had blood stains on it. Saturday our key cards quit working. Went to the front desk and she said yeah everyones has been messing up. But anytime we asked the front desk for help we were told We are new so we stopped. I hate to complain but this was a terrible experience. Just 2 weeks ago we stayed at the Quality Inn at the Circleville, Oh location and it was great! This location definitely needs some supervision and cleaning up. So disappointed with our stay.
Went to check in and the front desk agent was EXTREMELY rude. I booked online for a room through their website and as a choice hotels member I got 20% off @ $118. I booked the jacuzzi sweet for my parents for them to get away as they looked for homes in the area. The guy tried telling me he refused to let us check in at that price. You can not upcharge... I called customer service and he tried saying something completely different and they were able to cancel the room for me. So definitely 1 star for the front desk behavior. I stay in too many hotels each year to deal that
We had been on the road for a while. We had stayed in two uncomfortable motels for 4 nights. It was midnight and we had checked two other motels and they were. BW was not so we checked in. The room was clean, the beds were super comfortable and so we the pillows. We got the best sleep wed had our whole trip. The breakfast was of good quality as well. They did start to clean up early; though.
It was clean and up to date. Breakfast was good. The front desk made a huge deal over our service animal, after booking us in, he had asked to see our animals documentation to prove she was a service animal, after providing her papers he advised we were not in a pet friendly room and needed to move our things out and down the hall.
The bed was good, as the staff said the beds were replaced recently. They have the standard hot breakfast of biscuits and gravy and the standard stuff.. The carpets looked dirty but just needs to be replaced. The outside of the hotel needs to be cleaned and the trast removed from the parking lot. I think they are refurbishing this hotel a little at a time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The fist room had a broke easy chair so they moved us to the room next door, which also had a broken easy chair, we didnt move again, we just didnt use the chain. We stayed, it was okay, and close to where we wanted to visit.. Over all I would give it a 3 1/2 rating ....
My dog and I were stranded in Ohio while my car was being repaired. I was grateful to find this pet friendly, 100% smoke free motel. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful with plenty of room to walk my dog. It is newly renovated and has been open for less than a month. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the entire staff helpful and pleasant. Continental breakfast available and the indoor pool area was very inviting. It was a lifesaver for me at a very difficult time. In my opinion, this motel is very deserving of the name “Quality” Inn.
Hotel was not clean. That sums it up. Undergoing renovation to hall ways so drywall dust everywhere. But I can understand that if I was informed during my booking. The problem was the dog food, dog toy, and sprinkler head shroud laying on the floor. Obviously the room wasn’t cleaned well. Looked next to night stand and found pretzels. Bottom line not worth cost of rooms
This was a lovely place to stay! We rolled in at 0200 with our four month old and the staff was extremely friendly. We stayed in the king suite. It was very clean, no odor. They provided the basic lotion, shampoo, coffee etc. The breakfast was decent and had a waffle maker. We didnt swim, but the pool looks amazing! Great value!
This hotel was rebranded as a Quality Inn about a month ago. They seem to have already refurbished the guest rooms. They have been modernized and are clean and comfortable. The bed was not too firm, which is what we like. They serve a hot breakfast with eggs and meat. The grounds are attractive and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Check in and out was quick and efficient. The facilities include an indoor pool. The only negative was that the internet was somewhat slow. We would stay here again if we are in the area.
Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and completely met our needs. Breakfast foods are varied, with egg patties, sausage links, bagels, bread (and a toaster), muffins, cereals, yogurt, and waffles. The hotel was quiet overnight. I would stay there again if I need to stay in that area again.
I stayed for a week. All of the hotel staff introduced themselves and went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay. Everyone was extremely friendly! The outside looks a little rough and could use some maintenance but inside is in good shape, the room was clean, good sized, and housekeeping was fine, no funky smells. It was a great deal for a weeks stay. I would definitely stay here again. If you are a 5 star, high maintenance guest, this probably is not the place for you but for a decent, clean hotel room with breakfast included and friendly staff, this is the right place.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and recently remodeled. Staff was friendly and breakfast was replenished and had a decent selection. The only negative issue I had was not being able to open the drapes as I was on the first floor facing the parking lot, and there were no sheers, only the blackout drapes.
Under new management. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Staff I checked in with did not make note of my late check out (1pm) so they called my room around 11, which woke me up. I had been up late the night before and asked 2 different people about late check out. It startled me and woke me up, so that was annoying. Also realized upon waking that my room had no heat. Thermostat had no power to it and window ac/heat unit had knobs removed and no power to it as well. Outside temp was 20 degrees, room was very, very cold. I skipped shower and just left at that point. Room was clean, halls were being painted, building undergoing renovation. Close access to food, gas, shopping.
First of all, this hotel, while decent, was so far overpriced it isnt even close to funny. We had a nice room with 2 queen beds. Due to my Moms age (almost 88) and my difficulty walking very far (need a knee replacement), we needed a room on the ground floor. We also were traveling with two small dogs. The hotel didnt (from what we were told, take that with a grain of salt) have a dog-friendly (I.e. $15 per pet fee, non-refundable) room, so the gentleman at the desk moved a reservation at 10:00 p.m. to give us a non-dog-friendly room ($25 per pet fee, non-refundable). I told the desk attendant that we would pay cash upon checkout. I was told thatd be fine. I gave him my debit card with the understanding wed pay cash the next morning. I was not only misled, I was blatantly lied to. On the way home, we stayed at a Red Roof Inn where pets are not only welcome, they stay for free. Our room was just as nice for LESS THAN HALF the price. And our pets (who didnt mess in either room) are always free. Suffice it to say, I will always pick a Red Roof Inn. TL;DR: Quality Inn is a ripoff; stay at Red Roof Inn.
Our family had three rooms for the week-end, all of us agreed this hotel is not up to the standards we are familiar with using this brand. While the staff was courteous and helpful the rooms were not clean, including cobwebs on light fixtures, bathrooms looked like they were not even cleaned, one rooms entry door would not shut/lock, bedding had cigarette burns and one room reeked of smoked even though it was suppose to be a non-smoking hotel. The room furniture is old and needs replacing. The washrags were all yellow & brown & very, very worn. This facility has 60 rooms with only four tables for breakfast and the breakfast at best was marginal. This is a low price hotel with a high price cost.....zero value.
I would highly recommend this hotel. Although it is close to I-71 we didnt hear any noise and our room faced the highway. Room temperature was easily regulated by a wall thermostat and the heater wasnt noisy. The breakfast was fresh! We could tell that great care went into the food and presentation. The breakfast area was very clean and inviting. I will return here again.
Dee checked us into our room. She was so friendly and helpful. We had a special accommodation and she went above and beyond to help us. Housekeeping could use some training. The vacuuming had not been done and some dusting had been missed. The towels and sheets were clean and the coffee was stocked.
Reliable, clean, comfortable. While it lacks some amenities of a bigger hotel, this Quality Inn was exactly what the name says, a quality inn! This hotel is the nicest for your money in the area. Its a safe choice.Pool/whirlpool area is nice and well-kept. Continental breakfast is good but limited. Service was pleasant. Work out room is tiny. Rooms/housekeeping were excellent. Overall, I highly recommend.
The outside of the hotel was a mess. We were a bit worried when we pulled in. We were greeted by a very friendly man at the front desk. He checked us in quickly and gave us our room key. Our room was very clean. Everything was older but well kept. Breakfast was good. Only issue we had was the WIFI went out for a few hours on our 2nd night.
Stayed here overnight on our way to Kentucky. The hotel was very clean, quiet and convenient from the highway. Staff were nice and helpful. The building is a little older but there was a lovely indoor pool that was newly refurbished and looked great. There are a couple fast food places within walking distance. Breakfast was typical for this sort of hotel and the eating area was spotless. Great value
On the outside, the hotel looked a little run down, mostly the landscaping. But otherwise it was fine inside. When traveling, I have quite a few things on me, so Id prefer automatic doors, but that doesnt take away from the experience much. The man at the front desk was kind, when I mentioned that breakfast seemed to start a bit late (7am) he said he would have it done by 6, as myself and others expressed interest in eating earlier! How thoughtful! The next morning, I saw why that wasnt a difficult task to accommodate to as there were no hot foods. The experience was fine for just the one night.
The Quality Inn was clean and secure; the best I have seen when traveling long distances and grabbing a room without a reservation in advance. The breakfast we fantastic for the price. The price was great; as I expected to have to pay more from a hotel right off the interstate that probably gets many desperate walk-in like myself that night !
We stayed at this motel after a full day of high school basketball tournament games in Columbus with another full day of games in Dayton coming the next day. Check in was quick and easy even though we arrived late. Room was clean and its always nice to have a sink outside of the bathroom where one person could shower while the brushes teeth, etc. to get ready quicker. With the time change to Daylight Savings occurring that night, it was nice that the staff was willing to keep breakfast open past 10:00 a.m. if we needed it.
The hotel was a great value and had great amenities. The indoor pool was awesome and breakfasts excellent! The staff was always helpful and even went the extra mile when my daughters softball team decided to wear the same uniform 2 days in a row. The sweet lady working the night shift at the desk washed the white pants with the pool towels and had them waiting for us the next morning!
I checked in late, due to travel, without a problem. Reserving my room was easy. It was nice to stay in a clean and sanitary room. Unfortunately the hot water wasnt as hot as I would have liked. Also there were a couple areas of possible water damage, but overall extremely nice and clean. Also the breakfast was of waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, or bagels. So plenty of options. The heated indoor pool looked refreshing although I was not prepared to go in. I rated it 3 stars out of 5 because the lighting was minimal and the hot water was a disappointment.
This hotel was affordable and close to my destination but the parking lot was beyond overfull with semis and customers parked across multiple spots. The pop machine was unstocked for over 10hrs. The room i had booked needed some maintainace as the door handle fell off when the door closed and the shower exhaust fan didnt work. The breakfast had basically stale hard bagels at breakfast. 5/10 on this stay
This hotel is close to the interstate. The staff member we saw was friendly. He gave us good advice about construction which was going on at another exit we had planned to use for dinner, and recommended a restaurant which was closer. We would not have chosen this restaurant, but were pleased with the service and an excellent meal. The bed was very comfortable. The light in the bathroom was very dim.
I am giving this Hotel a 5 Star rating. Our beds were very clean and comfortable. The Staff had our best interest at heart. They are genuinely concerned about our comfort and value for our money. They went out of our way to show us the best route for our Journey back to TX. To the owners/staff, Thanks for a great stay. Next time we are in OHIO.. this is where we will stay. A special thanks To Gary for the heads up with traffic and the great visit.
Hotel was pretty much empty. Maybe 5 or 6 cars/trucks early morning of departure. I had a senior rate (70) and I was given a second floor room. No elevator! Non smoking room smelled like smoke. The air conditioning filter really needs attention and cleaning. I could smell the smoke in my suitcase the next day.
We stopped here after needing to rest during our long drive. Very comfortable place to stay on a modest budget. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We came in around 9 pm and the nice lady at the nice offered to leave the pool open for us a bit longer. We will consider stopping there again in the future when we go through that area again.
We were not greeted at check in and things went down hill from there. This is an older facility and it shows. Although the bed was comfortable, the linens were worn, the sink needed a good scrub down, an the shower drain was slow. The worst part of the stay was being awoke by a bug (not a bed bug) crawling across my chest. Would have to be very desperate to give this place another try. Room safe charge $1 annoyance billing
Traveling on a holiday weekend when prices have been skyrocketed, this hotel had the best pricing and since weve stayed at a Quality Inn before, we booked the room. The room did NOT meet our expectation.. it is old, outdated and not cleanly.. It needs a complete remodel. The price did not meet the value and wouldnt stay there again.
The pictures are decieving, makes rooms including lobby and eating area look much larger than actual. No elevator, mold in yogurt, silverfish on sink in room, tear and stains in bed linens. They also charge $1 for a room safe fee unless you ask to remove at check-in, however, you are not told about the fee until check out. The room smelled like smoke even though it was supposedly a smoke free facility. The staff was friendly and kept the breakfast area clean and stocked. The price of $100 including tax was too high considering the quality.
Since we knew we had to spend the entire next day driving we decided to splurge and get a nice room for the night. Unfortunately, the money we spent on an upgraded room was not worth the extra price and we should have just stayed with a basic room. The breakfast was good and ready though when it was time to go.
I used the online description to pick this hotel. I had called prior to arrival to make sure room would have refrigearator, and was assured that one would be in the room.I made are arrangements to have my chemo meds sent to a nearby pharmacy to pick up.The staff were very pleasant at check in. I found out at that time that all ADA rooms have only one bed, so if you have a caregiver with you, you are put in a impossible situation.I ended up with a ground floor room near an exit that had two beds.No wi fi the entire weekend, no compensation offered. No fridge in room to store chemo meds. Eventually I did get one.Went down to breakfast, and found the water for the steam table IN the food. No attempt made to fix this. All hot food inedible.Pool heaters turned on only when someone was in it. Pool cold as a result.
Decent price, clean, good choices for breakfast, clean cold pool, quiet except for the kids that were kinda loud above us, females at counter were so nice. Nice channel choices for a family. Back door didnt lock but we let them know when we checked out. There is a family of black cats there that live close by. We fed them while we were there.
Let’s start with the good.Extremely professional and friendly front desk staff that really seem to love their job, a rarity in this industry. That’s the goodThe bad. While they try to accommodate all guests they really don’t have adequate truck parking here. It gets really crowded after that last truck parks along the curb across from the cars and curves around the turning lane blocking access to the back of the property. The Ugly. I found a pair of used underwear and tee shirt under the curtain as I opened them up in the morning
This was an unexpected trip due to the passing of my sister in law. The staff made sure our rooms were close to each other and helped us with extra pillows and blankets to allow more comfort. The staff even loaned us tools to try and fix my trunk latch when it broke. Best Quality Inn experience ever. We will be back when in the area. Thank!
Nice hotel-awesome price! The indoor pool area was great. The breakfast area was very nice, clean and well stocked. The front desk staff were super friendly and accommodating. Nice clean, comfortable room for the money. Not too crowded and the staff here really seems to take pride in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
1. When we arrived we were told there were not many rooms that were cleaned from the previous night. 2. We reserved a King bed with fridge and micro but we were put into a handicap room with a queen and no appliances. (we are not handicapped)3. We were told to lift up on the door handle because it sticks! Really? (room #113)It was very trying opening the door. Upon inspection I determined all it needed was a janitor to simply file the striker plate in the door jam! How simple a fix but no one apparently ever investigated it! 4. The room hardly had any bathroom counter space. We had to open the ironing board and use it as a makeshift counter.5. The room did not have convenience outlets for any of our electronics.6. We were told at check-in that the dining room had not been cleaned from that morning. Really?Overall experience was not what we anticipated from a Quality Inn.We mentioned a few of the above items to the desk upon checkout and they apologized.
My stay at the Quality Inn Washington Courthouse was fine and met my needs for my 1 night stay. It was conveniently located near my athletic event. The staff I interacted with were very pleasant. I liked that my room had a microwave and mini fridge. Ive stayed in hotels that cost more, but lacked those amenities in the room.
Absolutely horrible. There was dirt and hair in the bed, shower, and in the sink. Stains on the sheets. Mold in the air conditioner and microwave was disgusting and full of nasty food. When I checked in I asked for extra blankets and the guy working told me I didn’t need them and refused to give them to me. Contacting BBB!
This was such a filthy hotel I believe the rest of these reviews are paid for.. there were brown and red virbant stains all over my bed . They didn’t have a change of sheets and still won’t give me a refund back even though I never stayed more than an hr in the room. You have to contact the general manager who never comes to the hotel.
When we are traveling, we just need a clean, quiet place to spend the night. This motel fit that bill. Its not the Ritz, but it was adequate for our needs. The breakfast is weak, but then we tend not to depend on the motel to feed us. We like spending less per night and just getting a cup of coffee for the road rather than pay more and get a fancy place to sit and have a waffle. We did not try the pool. A young boy was just getting into it when we checked out the pool area and he said it was cold...if a kid says its cold, I wouldnt even try it!! Was too tired to worry about trying it anyway. Had a good nights sleep and didnt feel I paid an arm and leg for the privileged. I feel we got a good value for our money. Would recommend this as a place to spend a night on the road.
Location was just what I needed however, TV remote did not work, hot water was all gone as staff were washing clothes. Phone was unplugged in room. Note from Diamond Elite rewards member.... the gentleman on duty was excellent at customer service and did everything he could to accommodate me. Even remembered to call me by name the next morning. I was impressed.Lets tie up loose ends at this location. This is below choice hotels standards I am sure.
My family and I checked in here mostly for the kids to enjoy the pool and have some fun. Upon checking we went to our room and it was awful. Had a horrible odor and the bathroom was dirty. Went and checked out the pool, upon checking in we also were informed the pool filter hadnt been working, and the pool looked disgusting. We went back to our room gathered our stuff and went ahead and checked out.
Stayed in this hotel during an overnight long car trip. Check in and out were easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful and very accommodating (ie placed breakfast items out by 5am when I told them I was checking out at 6am). Only wish the hallways were a bit more brightly lit and that the shower had better pressure.
The staff here went above & beyond for me and my family. We were traveling to Illinois from PA and we just stopped to sleep a little before driving on. The staff was extremely considerate even though we arrived very very late. The rooms were clean and the pool was clean and the perfect temp for a November swim! The breakfast bar was much more than expected, with waffles, yogurt, bagels, etc!
This hotel was central located for our purpose. Close to the interstate but far enough to not have any traffic noise. It was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was great. It was an eight hour drive from our home in Tennessee and was ready for a good nights sleep which we were able to get. Would stay here again.. .
We would have left an excellent review but there were a few minor things we didnt like. The lights in the room had very low wattage and even with them all on it wasnt enough. This is not unique to this Inn, they all seem to have the same problem. The TV channels were not updated. But the staff was excellent, and gave above and beyond service, which made up for the minor problems, so we left happy that we had stayed there.
What one wants most in overnight accommodation is safety, comfort, and cleanliness. These, Quality Inn supplies abundantly, along with a refrigerator, a safe, a telephone, a coffee maker, and a TV, not to mention a continental breakfast. The parking lots are lighted, the exterior doors require a room key or are watched from the desk, and the rooms have deadbolts. The pillows are small and adaptable, and the bedding does not pull out and fall to the floor. Room temperature can be controlled, and the bath/shower is clean and efficient. What more can one desire in a room where ones main occupation is to become unconscious and to stay that way for eight hours?
The lobby, breakfast areas and desk clerk were very satisfactory when we checked in. The room really needs to be updated. It was not of the quality expected at a Quality hotel. The bedding was the main problem. The mattress cover was to small and did not fit. It was coming off over the top edge of the mattress and no amount of pulling would work to keep it in place. It was very worn. There was piece of tape hanging down to the floor on one side of the bed. The tape was holding the skirt ruffle on the box spring. The skirt ruffle was also ripped. There were corrosion stains around the sink drain and inside edge of the toilet and shower faucet. This room was heavily used.
Great front desk staff, quick check-in without prior reservations, well-lit parking lot, nice rooms with free-to-use safe for valuables and vanity area outside of bathroom. Breakfast was above average, with the usual Continental items, as well as waffle making station, but no other hot items such as eggs or breakfast meats. Clean rooms, nice beds.
It was fantastic. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and easy to get to. Right off the interstate. When we checked out the next morning it was fast and friendly didnt take much time at all. Enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back.
3 inconveniences that marred the stay. Rear door card reader did not work, found out the hard way. TV channels inaccessible. Phone did not work.Room was very clean, no unpleasant odors. Front desk clerk was professsional and courteous, but he check in was slow.Price was a bit high for what I did not get.
Not sure what to say... I guess room was clean... was very surprsed to not have refrigerator or microwave. Although the cost was higher than 6 other places I stayed with these ammenities over the last 4 months. I was told I would need to reserve higher value room (king deluxe or something similar??)the parking lot had plenty of space
The staff are very nice, very helpful, and fixed all of the problems that they could (they moved us to a different room with a microfridge, etc....) The hot breakfast wasnt what we normally get, as there was no meat or hot eggs, just boiled eggs and the waffle iron that most place have now anyway. And warning, some days the eggs are peeled and sometimes they are not. There are pictures of a pool and hot tub, but had been closed at least four months at the time we were there, and the sauna had been closed for years. Nice people, but no extras at this place.
The pillows in the bedroom were tiny and offered zero support. Come on Choice Hotels how much extra would it cost you to have decent pillows. I think they are about 15 bucks for two at Costco. Splurge a little, the comfort of a pillow is important. The breakfast buffet was very limited. The fitness center was pretty non-existent.
The hotel itself was ok. I would not go out of my way to stay there. The staff member who checked me in was rude. He refused to allow me to use the Ohio travelcoupons. I always call ahead cause i travel with my 2 small fur babies. He refused to give me my aarp discount and charged me 10.00 over the online rate. The person on the day shift did give me 10.00 back. I am thankful for that. It was late otherwise i would have gone elsewere. The best part is that Im a choice member.
Hotel was welcoming. The clerk at the front desk was a pleasure to speak with and went out of her way to provide me with something to eat. Although I was leavning around 9am, it seemed that breakfast was already cleared away and things cleaned up. The morning clerk offered to get me something, but I was ok.
Plus side: The hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Minus side: I specifically picked this place so that we could have a soak in the hot tub after a long drive, before getting back in the car for an even longer drive, and then the hot tub was out of order.
The front desk even tried for us.Although they are under construction, the hallway could have been vacuumed at least. Paint all over carpet and dust. Plus no ventilation and all we smelled was paint. The charging ports in our room for the usb cords, wouldnt work.Shower curtain has what appeared as blood stains on it.And worse of all. We had a blanket that smelled of stale cigarettes, but also had blood stains on it.Saturday our key cards quit working. Went to the front desk and she said yeah everyones has been messing up. But anytime we asked the front desk for help we were told We are new so we stopped. This location definitely needs some supervision and cleaning up. So disappointed with our stay.
Perfect hotel for a nights stay on the road. Greeting was very friendly at check-in, even at a late hour. Room was simple, clean, an in good repair. I was especially pleased that there was a thermostat on the wall and not a unit which Required me to guess at a proper temperature.
Was a very good stay, staff was extremely friendly and handled our needs with great care. A couple of groups of motorcyclists were caught in a very bad thunderstorm. We were allowed to park our bikes up under the overhangs in a safe way. Allowing other guest and ourselves safe harborage during the storm.
The kid that checked us in seemed like hed rather be somewhere else and he spoke so low that I had a hard time understanding him. The outside door lock into the hallway was broken allowing any non-guest entry. The bathroom was tiny. There were not enough outlets to plug in three phones and an iPad to charge. The towels were yellow and the washcloths were stained. It was fifty-fifty if the towels were going to be soft or scratchy. Breakfast was good and the morning gal was more friendly.
The one gentleman on duty give us a hard time of when we asked for extra towels. The pool was supposed to be heated and it was freezing cold with bugs floating in it. The spa was broke or at least not fall and was filled with algae. After being gone all day when we returned we had to have our key cards reprogrammed because they did not work. The food sucked! Lastly our microwave would not work unless the refrigerator was unplugged in the refrigerator didn’t work at all.
As I was checking in the lady seemed to be in a horrible mood and was yelling at her computer as she was checking me and a coworker in. She never put in my choice number after I told her 3 times. My room smelled awful and felt really dirty. My bathroom sink was brown and I have a picture of it. My shower head did not work right. EVERY SINGLE towel had yellow stains on it. My AC did not work. Overall this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
I would not suggest this hotel to anyone! Our room was not clean. We had no water glasses, ice bucket, or coffee cups. The manager acted like we were imposing on him when we had to ask how the TV worked (no written instructions on its usage). Did not dare to use the shower, couldnt wait to get out of there.
We were in nearby Wilmington two successive weekends, and this hotel was near enough. I did not mind the 20 minutes drive, since a stay at a Choice Hotel would add to my points total, and get me closer to the Diamond status with the chain.WARNING: If you consider staying at this location, you will be playing a sleep lottery. The first weekends accomodations were OK, and we were only in during sleep hours anyway. The second weekend? Bed springs which can be easily twanged by a thumb should indicate a mattress which is years past its replacement date. I was bruised. On top of that, the second weekends room had an air conditioner which went nuts around 2AM, flipping on and off by itself like a child was playing with a toggle switch.I found the night clerk, and was transferred to another room. Unfortunately, the bed in that one was only marginally better. The beds and the AC issue put me off enough, but travelers should also be aware that this locations breakfast room opens about an hour later than I am accustomed to. Four mornings there, over two weekends, and I got one cup of coffee, because it had been brewed early.About the AC: The evening after the nightmare, upon returning for the second night, I was informed that the AC was fixed, as it had just been unplugged from the wall. YES, I had unplugged it! Anyone would, if it turned off/on/off/on/off/on.... for 10 minutes! Geez.
The rooms were very dirty. Blood on toilet paper holder, poop on the back of the tiolet, hair on the towels, stains on everything. Front desk ripped me off for $30 And they asked me to nvr return because I complained to the manager in the morning. Very rude staff, even more rude management. I will NEVER again stay at this hotel. I will gladly post pictures once Ive returned home.
Please DONT stay here if you have any other choice. You had to giggle the toilet handle to make it flush. Our room (126) the door would not latch unless you lifted up on it (which was shown to us by the front desk personal). Then in the morning I was watching TV and had ants crawling on me in bed. Also they were on the sink counter. When I went to the front desk and complained the housekeeper was there and asked which room and the guy at the front desk rolled his eyes. When I checked out I was told they could not do anything, because the general manager was off that day, but he would call me the next day. 2 days later and I called him, to be told because I booked through Expedia I had to call them. Then Expedia had to call him and he would issue a refund. So I did all that, except Expedia told me he refused to refund or even cut the bill, because I didnt complain untill check out.
Bed bugs room 109. We called and called, emailed manager. Front desk told us they left him multiple messages. We also saw them wrote the message the first time when we were there. He refuses to call or even email us back. They told us they could not refunds us. Now to rid the bed bugs from us it has costs thousands!! Yes, thousands as our daughter has mast cell disease and when she was bit she had an allergic reaction causing her to have to stay overnight. Now, all I asked for was my 80 dollars back for the hotel stay! You know stuff happens but as a manger you take ownership, apologize, and make it right- none of that from the manager Nimish absolutely absurd
The decision to have smoking option at your hotel is yours, of course, but it means we would choose elsewhere in the future if we had a choice. I was impressed that the breakfast was prepared earlier than the official time and permitted us to leave early. Thanks to the young lady who attended to that.
Do not check in the evening, check in service is slow. Bed was comfortable & bathroom was clean & everything worked in the room. Make reservations on-line, over the phone is a bit confusing. Dont set your expectations to high for customer service & this place is great. It is off the beaten path, laid back & quiet.
I would suggest that no one use a debit card. We stayed 2 nights, and used my husbands debit card, the second night we used my debit card. Then we checked our balances on each card and found that on the second day when using my debit card, we found that his card was charged twice and my card once. So we paid a 3 night stay for 2 nights. Beware!!!

2022-05-30I only stayed at this hotel just long enough to sleep, so I cant provide and information about any services other than the room itself. Having said that, this was the most comfortable bed and pillows ever! I didnt want to get out of bed. I had to weigh out whether or not to just sleep in or to make it to my destination on time. The rooms were also super clean. The shower was nice and hot. I think one more pillow would have been nice. We had 2 guests and 3 pillows. Im sure I could have requested one, though. I left without eating breakfast, because it wasnt much to brag about. They did have eggs, sausage, waffles, and some bagels, but no biscuits or gravy. The orange juice from the machine was colored water basically. My main point, though, is I would definitely stay again! Comfort and cleanliness matter more than anything to me!

2022-04-28If I could give this place zero stars then I would. I booked a room on booking.com and prepaid for the room. When I arrived at the lobby no one was there and it took about 45 minutes Bettye lady even showed up. I inform here that I booked a room through the booking app. I give her my name and she tells me that I don’t have a reservation. I then show her my confirmation number and she says still nothing. She said that she was going to have to charge me by she would refund my money the next morning if it shows that I paid. I wait 2 days before I inquire about my refund. When I call back the same lady answers the phone but she tells me there’s nothing she can do(meaning she lied and for no reason at that). She then tells me that I have to call after 1 to take it up with the mgr. I call after 1 and a guy answers the phone. He tells me that the mgr is on vacation for the next 2 months(she lied again) I’ve been trying to dispute this with my bank since January but I’ve been unsuccessful. Because I paid through the app and at the hotel on their end it looks as if I needed 2 rooms for the night. I’ve never in my life encountered such unprofessionalism. If the lady hates her job or the customers that much then she’s in the wrong line of work. She shouldn’t even have a job

2022-03-30I booked a room here thru Hotel.com and when I got here I was charged more money even with a military discount. The pool was not in service, the room was nasty with dog hair and it wasnt a pet room, the safe was busted off the wall, I forgot my 2 pillows in the room. They have all my info but never bother to call an let you know. This place was just the worst place I have ever stayed and I have traveled lot. I would not ever tell anyone to stay at this place. Go 3 miles south of there. better hotels. It was just to cold and late when I got there to change my situation. Made the weekend more stressful then it already was. I have to mark a star or it wont let me go on. I would give it none

2022-03-26Positive: The Couple At the Front Desk are Amazing, Hard Working People. They were Attentive and Friendly..Even After Working A 19-Hour Shift; WITH Thosr 7-Week Old Son! The Hotel Was Clean and Cery Well Kept.. no Complaints. I Highly Recommend It! Negative: Breakfast Was Scarce. The Food Was Subpar; But it was clean, hot and Ready. Front Door Should be Automatic, it is Difficult to bring luggage in while holding the door

I lnow you get the deposit back the next day if you keep the room nice, etc.. but geeez. They did have nice rooms.. stains on the sheets though. Had a very nice breakfast bar. Pool was warm, vending machines slim pickings.

2022-02-27Full Review-THINGS TO KNOW:They have a STRICT no smoking policy. No cigarettes, weed, or vape. And if they catch you smoking, a 250 dollar fee will be added to your bill. Of course you can smoke outside. And after all… how are they gonna find you are vaping?? Unless they have cameras lol!The pool is heated. Not warm, but not too cold. I mean, this pool is so pretty! It is pet friendly, but they will charge you an extra fee that they give you back when you leave (unless the dog or cat or whatever leaves a mess or damages anything)Staff: The staff were very nice. They were the kind of people that could sit in your living room and have a conversation with. In fact, we did have a few conversations.Room: Now with the rooms. They were nice little clean rooms. Not the PRETTIEST… but nice little rooms. Not very big though. But for 69 dollars (which ended up being $100 because of fees, ext.) they were pretty good. Towels wrapped nicely, small tv, pretty beds (pretty damn comfortable too) and a little mini fridge.Overall, for the price… it’s a pretty decent hotel. People were checking in all night!! Thank you for making us feel so comfortable!

2022-06-10Staff was very nice.Lamps on nightstands were missing the pushbuttons to turn them on. There were flies in the room. The drain in the tub was very slow, building up water to almost ankle deep while showering.Otherwise, the room was clean.

2022-06-26We got charged for things that we didnt receive, such as a safe that looked like it was pulled from the wall. The pool was okay but the hot tub was broken. The breakfast was NOTHING like the picture. The guy who checked us in was kind of rude
