Positive: The bed was comfortable. The desk people were nice. Negative: The room was beat up disaster and the hotel was not much different. Mud on hall way carpets and stairs, but the carpet needed to be replaced 10 years ago. The room floors, walls, and bath had damage. Both the refridge and ac was were so disturbingly loud
Ive stayed at all the quality inns in the greater toledo area. The service and the quality of the rooms is by far and away the best at the Perrysburg location. The Holland location is nice because of proximity to things as well as the great service I get but their renovations and remodeling has taken way too long. The Secor rd quality inn is decent however Ive encountered rude employees as well as inept housekeepers. At the Perrysburg location everything was top shelf.
We needed a place to stay on short notice and we chose this Quality Inn because it is close to a busy commercial area with stores, restaurants, and easy highway access. We checked in on Tuesday night and as soon as I walked in the lobby I could tell that the staff did a great job of keeping everything tidy and clean. When we got to the room, it was clean, spacious, and the furniture was comfortable. Im a big guy but the recliner and the desk chair accommodated me comfortably. The bed was firm and the pillows were great. It took some time to adjust the heat because it worked almost too well! We only booked one night because we werent sure how long wed need to stay so the next morning when we decided we would need to stay I called the front desk and the staff member told me what to do to make a new reservation for that day and she would allow us to stay in the same room. I had to do this for the third day of our stay as well. That morning, it was just as easy. All the front desk employees and maintenance (they were repairing an exterior door closer that had broken to keep the building secure) were extremely accommodating, friendly, and more than happy to help. I didnt make it to breakfast or get to use the pool but I was happy to know this location was resuming some of the amenities Ive missed during COVID.I was so happy with our stay that I will be recommending this hotel to friends and business associates that need to stay in the Toledo area in the future. Thank you!
Positive: Hot breakfast, friendly staff Negative: Nighttime the halls smelled of pot people coming back drunk falling down stairs, food all over floors loud walking weekend breakfast person did not keep up w/ breakfast eggs/bacon were dried in pan staff was on phone instead of taking care of food
Clean spacious and roomy. No elevator and the rooms are spread out though a large hotel. The single kings are a bit cramped if there are two of you. However the twin beds have plenty of room. And the beds are a full size. It is an older hotel so fixtures are dated yet in good condition. And there is plenty of parking.
Positive: The king sized bed was very comfortable as was the recliner (I have a physical problem and had to use it sometimes). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Mary the cook was a beautiful person and fun to talk to. I would go back just to see her again Negative: The toilet never flushed properly. The sink didnt drain properly. The towel rack fell on the floor the first time my wife took a towel from it after her shower. The heater worked sometimes.
We stayed there this past weekend. The rooms were very clean. Very nice. The pillows were fluffy and comfortable. It was quiet being that was just off the highway. They had a very nice continental breakfast free with your room. The only drawback was the tiny toilets. They sat off the floor like they do in preschool. They are very small and low to the ground. It was very difficult for me to get on and off of the toilet as an older person and disabled. The pool is nice however when they cleaned it and put the chlorine in the windows and doors were not open and it was very unpleasant. When we finally got a couple of doors opened and the chlorine in the area dissipated we could finally swim. Other than those two things awesome.
For the price, you cant beat it. Pool was open, so that was nice. They are also serving hot breakfast again, so thats nice. I stayed with my husband while he was there in the area for work, so we were there for 4 nights. Every morning the same thing was served for breakfast, the 3rd morning we just went to waffle house because the breakfast was not the greatest, but ok. On Tuesday they have a free dinner, which is also nice! Rooms were clean, beds and pillows were comfy.
Was shocked after reading so many positive reviews to find our room was FILTHY. Yes, the building is old, but old doesnt have to mean dirty. We requested an early check in per the establishments instructions. We were told no problem . When we arrived the worker was extremely friendly but didnt seem to know where to put us. We were given a room only to find: Food crumbs on table tops, lots of other peoples hair everywhere. Hair was on the bathroom floor behind the door, in the tub, in the sink and in my sons BED! So gross. Splatters were visible up the bathroom door. Carpet was visibly soiled as were the chairs. We were in such a rush that we stayed and tried not to touch ANYTHING. Entire building smelled funny. We told the worker the next day who was very friendly and apologetic. She said she would have happily changed our room. Honestly, when one room is that bad, I dont think a different one would be any better. I think our room was probably given a very quick linen change and nothing else - if that. This place needs to shut down 5 rooms at a time and do a deep, corner to corner cleaning. Ill never come back.
First off I would like to say a big Thank You to the staff for the sweet card and snack money that you all gave to my son for his birthday! He was very surprised and very thankful! Our room was clean and very comfortable. We had one small maintenance issue that was fixed by 9 oclock Saturday(7/17) morning and he was super nice as well! The ladies running the breakfast bar were extremely kind and the food was great! The location is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and is right off of I 75 so getting to and from Toledo was a breeze! We would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back up that way!
The hotel in and of itself is not worth five stars but the service is. Id give the hotel four stars understanding that its not a western but that youre getting what you paid for although in this case its a good way. Actually I would say after staying in numerous Budget hotels across the years and all over the country that youre getting this location more than what youre paying for. To me the most important things are service a comfortable bed a quiet room and a hot shower. This hotel has all of those things. The bathroom and other components are indeed dated however the good price offsets that. When all youre looking for is a place to lay your head thats comfortable and quiet you dont need a fancy bathroom or updated decor. This particular hotel at least for me went out of their way to help with an issue that was not of their doing or having anything to do with their hotel at all. That to me in and of itself is worth five stars. I would recommend this hotel and if back in the area would stay again
Definitely a great stay for the value. Helpful staff went above and beyond, from check in to complimentary breakfast to drinks at the bar to housekeeping. Convenient location, clean room and bed. Nice deep pool. Had all the amenities we needed: mini fridge, microwave, coffee, iron. Bathroom was a little dated/dingy but thats to be expected for the price.
Hotel was in a nice area, close to the highway with lots of food options near. The room itself, was a little dirty. Clothes were left in the drawers from previous occupants, and the bathroom was somewhat dirty - hair on the walls and in the tub. Overall, it served it purpose. We were there for a softball tournament, and it was a good location with a real affordable price.
Positive: Hotel in nice location with many different shooting opportunities near. Negative: Not clean. Outdated. There were a few men just seated on floor in hall way went entering hotel. If I was a single woman there I would have felt uncomfortable. The toilet was filthy as was the carpet and remote control for tv.
It did the job. The pool was crowded the first day and unbearably humid. No Housekeeping during your stay due to covid. We asked for 2 pillows and 2 blankets and she was very lovely to deliver the blankets, but couldnt find 2 pillows. The bar is a bar youd find in someones house. Its intermixed with the breakfast area. So, kids and families are all around while you sit at one of the 3 high top tables. Its kind weird, but not horrible. Breakfast was ok, I mean pretty typical for hotel breakfast. Good choices. It was clean. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable and the pillows slowly squished down til they were practically flat with the bed.BUT!!! The people working at the front desk were SO helpful and friendly. And you can NOT beat the location. Close to everything. It wasnt bad just ok and really we got what we paid for.
Numerous issues with this place. The room reeked of a mildew smell, the door did not close all the way, the room was constantly humid even with the ac on, and the entire hotel smelled like smoke. Would not recommend this place nor will I be returning. At the very least, the breakfast was okay and the sheets were clean. But that mildew/moldy smell really made it feel like a dirtier room than it seemed.
This place is not quality for value.Take away the poorly kept rooms, and by that, I mean dated furniture that shows it’s wear, or the lack of bedding.Put aside the ramshackle bathrooms, with their broken tile, the showers themselves in total disarray. The rooms often as not come with air conditioners in complete disrepair, while the staff treats you as an inconvenience to their day.The whole place reeks of weed day and night. I’ve had to re-wash my clothes after staying here, on several occasions, because of this specific issue. Thanks, no thanks.
Positive: The bed was clean and comfortable. Negative: The hotel is rundown and everything is quite aged. The room feels like a prison and the carpets throughout need to be replaced. There was damage to the hallway walls. Felt much like a $-- a night motel experience.
I think this is one of the best hotels I have been in. There was a few things that could have been better. Their tv seems to lag when Changing channels, theres no guide. The pool was nice except when 2 big families were in the pool. They were using very big like super soakers, they were very annoying... plus they were drinking, and doing drugs...thank GOD they left the next Day... The toilet had body pubes(gross) I will say the hotel offering dinner on Tue was very nice! The drinks there are awesome! The bed was rough as hell(springey) very quiet...
This hotel is very outdated. The carpets smell like wet mildew. The pool smelled like urine. The tub would not plug and chunks of something kept coming up the drain in the bath tub. I will never stay here again. Pay the extra 10 bucks and go across the street. Very disappointed.
Positive: Hotel employee IS OUTSTANDING!!! From her welcoming smile when I walked in, to all of the special maneuvering she did to keep me in the same room when I extended twice, she was an exemplary representative! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH! (And Negative: Loud kids running in the hallway my final day (Memorial Day Friday); distinct smell of marijuana in the halls.
I never got a definite answer about the acquisition of points. Different employees told me different things about the points. And I can’t believe the carpet was so dirty and everyone is talking about enhanced cleaning . The shower in my room had mildew and I even told housekeeping about it but nothing was done . The toilet was nasty under the rim and looked like it had never been cleaned . The washer and dryer for guest looked like it was never cleaned either . I mean really dirty .
I liked it so well on an outbound road trip that I am staying here again on my return trip. The location here is outstandingly convenient for walking to multiple local and chain restaurants. It is also near a large Krogers and freeway connections to many destinations. I will stay here again.
It was just ok. The room was clean but had a funny odor, when i told the staff member that walked into our room Unannounced with her key, she said all the room have that funny smell and to turn on the air conditioner. The bathroom was small and basic, some of towels were dingy, which is why i bring my own. The bed was comfortable and the staff was very nice, professional and pleasant. We didnt eat breakfast there so i cant rate the food.
Please call before you arrive! I made a reservation over the phone with customer service. I arrived at the hotel and they turned me away! They had no rooms available yet there website says they do! Yet corporate customer service says they do! Google says they do! Please Beware before you book! I am currently sleeping in my rental car for the weekend! I also cannot get a refund right away! I’m literally screwed!
We did not really tour the hotel and all it had to offer so I can only comment on the room, check in and the breakfast. When we checked in customer service was nice. We had a king size bed room. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were not, bring your own. The bathroom was very small. There was no counter space. It was a small sink and my husband and I felt very cramped as we were trying to get ready. The fridge made noises all night but we both thought it had been raining all night to just find out it was the fridge when we woke up. The breakfast area was pretty good. There were biscuit and gravy, bacon, waffles, eggs, cereal, bagels, toast, oatmeal to select from. We thought it was pretty good and worth it. the outside pool looked really nice but we didnt have time to swim and it was a little too cold for my taste.
The hotel staff make you feel special, like they really want to be of service; the overall facility was great (large common areas and the best fitness room Ive seen outside of the really high-end hotels at my conferences). The room was good; the bed was fine; the location was perfect; the breakfast looked good (we just didnt eat there). We will definitely return!
Drove for ten hours to find this room to be the last in town, was totally relieved to have a room. Front desk girl was nice ( both of them) I drove around the hotel to my room got out my bags got too the room to find the key didn’t work, back to the car with my bags , drive around to lobby to receive another key and told to call pig I needed further help. Back in the car take out my bags get to the room key doesn’t work!! Called front desk from door of room NO AWNSER!! Back in the car with the bags drive to lobby again!Manager let’s me in room this time, finally!I got to take a shower and the shower is dirty!
The room/bathroom was outdated athough the beds/pillows were comfortable. The price paid was great. The pool area was great and we enjoyed our time there. Our room was far away from the lobby and we didn’t realize until we got to the entrance they told us that there wasn’t an elevator close. Not sure if there was no elevator or if we just weren’t told where it was. Breakfast was ok and the staff there was kind to our kids.
Very friendly and professional service! I booked a room for my grandsons first birthday party with swimming in the pool. The hotel was very accommodating and we had a great time. The room was nice and clean, and we returned to the room and had our beds pulled down for bedtime! They also include a breakfast buffet and I cant wait to try it!
Staff is super helpful and polite. Facility is dated but well maintained. Room was clean. Bedding clean. Breakfast is a good selection. Bartender is sweet as pie and funny. Loved her! Pool was clean and quite large. Only complaints would be the beds are not the most comfortable (my back still hurts), our bathroom light wouldnt come on all the way (think nightlight), and the halls smelled of smoke when we arrived (nonsmoking hotel), and our hallway by the stairs reeked of weed Fri-Sun.
Very good hotel for reasonable price! We would stay here again. It was clean and the staff was efficient. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast very nice. Thanks for a great stay. Only reason I didnt give it excellent is because the bathroom is a bit small but for the price its tidy and clean. Well done!
I thought the front desk staff was pleasant, but having computer issues beyond their control. Also, not trained well with how to handle calls on hold. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean, but the stairs leading up to the second floor was incredibly dirty. The breakfast are you looked fantastic, but I didnt stay long enough to try it
We stayed overnight in Perrysburg because it was about half way to our destination. The front desk staff was super fast checking me in. They were friendly and offered bottles of water for my wife and I. The rooms were acceptably clean. The hotel was very quiet with comfortable beds and we slept well. The morning staff was equally nice. The young lady at the front desk was so friendly and the breakfast attendant made sure everyone was satisfied. I would recommend this hotel and would choose to stay here again.
This QI may not look modern on the inside, but what it lacks in fancy décor it makes up for in customer service. The rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable. The staff is excellent and the breakfast is unbeatable! There are a lot of hotels in the area, but this one has the most value.
My husband and I had a good experience at this hotel. The desk attendant, Brittany, was very nice upon check in. The room was clean and comfortable. My husband had a Skype interview and we were worried that the WiFi might not be great but it was fast and he had a strong connection. Breakfast was hot but nothing more than you’d expect at a hotel. All of the employees were genuinely nice and welcoming. The desk attendant gave us bottled water for our trip home.
Staff I encountered is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent and there is plenty of seating. The room is small and cramped, even with only double size beds (not queen) but it was clean. Bathroom mirror lacked lighting and the bathroom is very small. Cleanliness was excellent. Service was good. Staff accommodated our group with earlier breakfast because of our play times. I would consider this motel again if staying in the area.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast room was spacious and had a nice selection. Room was clean but bathroom was a bit small with little counter space. Just a heads up....there is not an elevator in this hotel so make sure you request a first floor room if you have any issues with stairs.
The hotel is situated in a quiet area but the rooms are outdated. The bed is comfortable and the front desk staff are sweet and friendly. Our breakfast was a nightmare. Food was nukewarm and they were out of everything from milk to fruit to biscuits to juice. It is a good place to stop for a night but I probably would not recommend any longer.
By far with the best quality inn we have ever stayed at. When we checked in the process was quick and our room was right up the stairs. The only issue we had was when we got into our room , none of the plugs were working so the TVs didnt work neither did the fridge. I went to the front desk and reported it and within literally 2 minutes the manager was at our door trying to resolve the issue. The issue could not be resolved and they had to call in a maintenance person. The front desk called our room to advise us that someone was on the way in to fix it. So we took the time to check out the hotel we ran into the manager again who countless times apologized what was happening in our room. We told her its no big deal things happen. We told her we were heading to dinner and would be back soon she even offered to buy us dinner for what happened. When we came back from dinner she was at the front desk advised us about the situation and that it is fixed and wheres our receipt I told her its no big deal things happen. The way the staff was and the way they handled themselves is great and the communication is awesome. I wish I would have got her name because she was amazing. Other notes about the hotel the breakfast was great the staff was friendly and they always kept the food stocked and our room was spotless we had a suite (266) the microwave was clean the fridge was clean the bathroom was spotless the room just smelled fresh and clean.
My wife and I stayed the weekend ,for a wedding ,also the grooms parents stayed, it was very clean ,staff was awsome, had a very good weekend, very comfortable beds, breakfast was just ok, staff at the breakfast bar were great and very polite, food was ok, cant complain would definitely stay again, very Enjoyable stay
Staff were very friendly but it was frustrating to book. Arrived after midnight and saw availability online. When we asked it was much more than online price. Asked for a discount since we arrived so late and would only be there for a short time. Said they couldnt discount rate so we went through the trouble of booking online while the front desk watched. Seemed to be a waste of time due to circumstances.
Im a diamond member at Choice Hotels and travel a lot. Most properties tend to run together in my mind unless theyre really bad or really great. As long as the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, quiet, have a comfortable bed and a place for me to do some work, Im easy to please. There are only a handful of hotels that stand out in my mind and this is one of them. The rooms are all of those things I desire in a stay, but more so, the front desk staff makes me feel welcome. Every visit. Theyre top notch! My last visit is yet another example. Emily at the front desk remembered me from a previous stay. She welcomed my husband and me warmly. She and the other staff were scrambling to get rooms turned after a full house the previous night, but they worked together and made sure we and the other guests checking in were taken care of. The housekeeping and other staff was friendly, too. Highly recommend!
We chose this hotel from choicehotels.com based on the proximity to the highway. We arrived later in the evening and received a warm welcome. The room was lovely and roomy and we had a great stay. The breakfast the next morning had lots of variety. Upon leaving to continue on our journey, we were offered bottled water and lip balm. Overall, a fantastic experience and we will return on our next trip south. Thank you for a pleasant experience and standing out. You know what hospitality is.
The affordability of a room is quite good but the hotel needs some updating. The facility has a smoke-free policy but the first room that we were assigned to still had the lingering smell of someone smoking inside the room. We called the front desk and the person was very helpful in finding a more suitable room. The corridor though still smell of smoke but at least the room was smoke-free. The breakfast items were quite standard for this type of hotel so it was what we expected. It has a decent location as far as being close to the interstate and to a number of restaurants.
We came as a group (Geauga County Special Olympics) team, family & helpers. Everyone had a great time and experience. I have no complaints. The hotel was polite to everyone and breakfast was great, you all really kept up. The room was very comfortable, I only suggest shower hoses since many people are too short or simply cant get under the head to rinse and wash properly. Thank you for being so pleasant.
Had a wonderful stay! Nice clean rooms and very comfortable beds and pillows. Good location to many restaurants. The reception desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the morning breakfast and good selections. The food workers greeted everyone as you entered the area to eat, and were available to help at all times. Have nothing negative to say. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again! Stayed March 24, 2018
We always stay at a Choice Hotel when we travel for tennis. This is our first time at a Quality Inn and will probably be our last. Despite most of the reviews rating this hotel as excellent, we disagree in comparison to other Choice Hotels in the area. The hotel really needs to be remodeled and modernized. The room was small and the bathroom was the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel. There was a small sink that couldnt fit hardly any toiletries. The bathroom was not very clean. All night we heard the music playing in the lobby, guests in the hallway, the ice machine, and people in the hotel bar. The walls seemed so thin. Our door did not have the extra safety lock that makes you feel more secure. Then when we had to turn the furnace/ac on, it was super loud. The fridge was also very loud. Didnt have a good experience with this hotel. Prior to being at this hotel, we were at a Comfort Inn and Suites in Maumee the previous two nights. That hotel was so clean, quiet, and comfortable.
I took my 8 year old nephew to Toledo to go to the zoo. And while we got rained out of our zoo plans, if you ask him about his weekend hell tell you it was GREAT. Thats because we stayed at Quality Inn. The pool was super fun (and INDOOR so the rain didnt bother us at all!) The room was clean and comfortable. The tv had cartoons for him & HBO for me. Nice air conditioning system. Free, hot breakfast in the morning. Lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. We ended up going to the imagination station after checkout. We were sad to leave! Next time we come to Perrysburg we will definitely stay at Quality Inn!
This was a stopping over point on my way north. We had a very comfortable room and the bed was wonderful, although Im sure I was a bit tired too. It was very clean, quiet and the staff was very friendly. I did a quick check of email and found the wi-fi connection to be very good. I liked that the little envelope you get when checking in, with your room keys in it, had the breakfast hours, the wi-fi password and the check out time all printed right on the envelope. Nice touch Quality Inn Perrysburg.
The hotel staff were very nice. We stayed in a king suite 103. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was quite and the beds were very comfortable. The swimming pool was the largest I have seen at a hotel(55357)(56833). It was clean and did not have too much chlorine. The access from the highway was perfect and there was every option for food near by. I would definitely stay at this facility again.
We have stayed at many hotels and I have to say this hotel is not fancy or brand new but it had the very best stay I have ever seen! You arrived to receive cookies, and smiling face when the lady at check in, to receive a free drink in the bar. The breakfast had real eggs and bacon, We have never seen that. So maybe the bathrooms could use some updating the water pressure in the tub wasnt the greatest but you never even paid attention to those small stuff because of the warm feeling you received from this hotel. and the bedding was amazing. Thank you for a great stay we will be back if ever in the area!
The hotel was awesome. We were scheduled to be at a different hotel but they drained the pool. I had six girls on my hands and Quality Inn in Perrysburg Ohio came through. Got a great deal on two hotel rooms. The staff was great. The pool could have been warmer as they advertise that it is in indoor heated pool. The breakfast was awesome and the staff was amazing. Thank you for saving the day
We stayed at the Quality Inn in Perrysburg, OH while visiting relatives. Upon check in we were told there would be a free meal for dinner as well as breakfast the next morning. I was amazed at the quality of food!! The staff was exceptional!! Our room was clean and easily accessable from our vehicle. The pool area was well maintained and inviting. We will certainly return! The only thing I felt was disappointing was the beds in our double room were full size, not queen. It was a tight fit, but we managed.
This hotel was very comfortable and although not fully updated it was prefect for just needing somewhere to sleep. The breakfast was nice and the pool was great. Loved the patio area outside. The price was the most reasonable around and the area was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again
The hotel is very attractive - attractive façade, beautiful lobby and spacious breakfast room. Room was nice, but would have preferred queen beds and a larger bathroom. But everything was very clean and we appreciated the constant on feature of the fan which made sleep more comfortable.Breakfast room was large and the food was excellent, the staff very accommodating.
What a great place, very happy! We found the place to be cleaned well, friendly staff, good amenities of microwave, small fridge, free wi-fi. The breakfast in the morning is incredible! I havent enjoyed a free breakfast like that at a hotel in many years! Great selection of hot foods, yogurt, juices, coffee, waffles, sausage and biscuits, bagels, toast - my! - too much to recall. Nicely presented and kept! One more thing that got my attention was the ample plug-ins for power. Many times they are in short supply, but this room had plenty! Nice desk and chair to use for computer work too. We had lots of choices for supper right close around - anything from fast food to sit down and enjoy a nice meal. This stay puts Quality Inn up there in my list to stay at when I am out of town.
This is my second or third stay here. I am very happy with the cleanliness and service. The breakfast, while essentially the same food as the others, was remarkedly fresh. The eggs were freshly scrambled and the bacon and sausage were also cooked that morning. Also, a very roomy and nicely appointed area for breakfast. Now the complaint. My roomheater sounded like a jet engine. They really need to upgrade these heaters. I need to travel through here twice next year but really have second thoughts about where Ill stay.
I was looking for a place to go over a long weekend, and saw the picture of the pool area at the Quality Inn in Perrysburg. I knew my son and grandkids would love it! So we spent a night there. The pool was awesome, although the room was absolutely freezing and quite dark in the evening. This didnt bother the kids much, but I had to stay in the pool instead of sitting on the deck watching them. The breakfast was awesome, the room was quite nice. The wireless was awful, but it didnt hurt us to put down the electronics for a night! Within a few minutes after we left, I received a phone call that they had found a stuffed animal in the snowy parking lot and thought it might be ours, which it was. I was impressed by that. All in all, it was a fun stay and Id do it again!
I stay here weekly. I found that the shower water could have been warmer for most of my stays after having no warm water during this last stay. When the temperature was fixed it was the warmest water Ive had in all of my stays. Bed is comfortable. Nice pillows. Carpet is new. Small bathrooms but workable. Nice pool but I never have time to use it. Friendly staff. Breakfast has just about anything you could want however eggs are dry on occasion. There is a bar in the evening but due to my line of work I am unable to use it.Area has about any store you could want with major shopping within 15 minutes.
Rooms was huge, clean and very comfy. The pool was so clean and deep my son loved it. The outdoor patio makes good great social gathering. Breakfast time was wonderful also. I can tell you that Mary and Darleen were absolute angels.. Love it here. Well definitely be back
The rooms were better than the rooms we stayed at the old hotel. I am happy that the air conditioning wasnt cranked up and that the blankets werent too thick and not too thin. I would like the air conditioning to be placed somewhere that isnt RIGHT next to the bed (room 204) maybe put the beds somewhere else?
Wasnt expecting perfection, but found the hotel to be on the older side and showing its age. Some key/lock issues in the beginning. The bathroom definitely showed its age with cracking in the shower. The bathroom sink dripped unless you made a conscious effort to put the handle exactly in place. Was trying to save a few dollars, but probably should have paid the $20 extra for a newer hotel. The breakfast was a redeeming point as it has hot items and cold and the coffee was pretty good.
Great hotel in a perfect location. Easy to find and near everything. Front desk was wonderful. DeeDee was very friendly and attentive to our needs {Thank you} Room was clean. Housekeeper the day of checkout was very pushy asking us when we were going to be out of our room 3 times beginning at 9:30am. Check out time is 12:00 that is why we booked this hotel knowing we would be a very late arrival the night prior. Other than great hotel. If we are ever in the area we will stay here.
Happened upon this property late at night looking for a place to stay midway thru a 14 hr road trip. What a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, extremely well maintained and clean. An older, two story, property with no elevator, but otherwise a Quality Inn on par with or above most Comfort Inn standards. Bed and pillows wonderful and room spotless. Would definitely choose this property as my go to should I be in the area again.
This Quality Inn is conveniently located right next to a grocery store and familiar restaurants. The pool is very clean and is indoors. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and we easily found something that each of us liked to have for breakfast. We also liked the convenience of having a coffeemaker in the room. Staff was super courteous, we had a nice stay!
The room was very spacious and the suite/kitchen area was well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The only issue with the room was that the housekeeper left a dirty rag in the bathroom. We moved it out of the way, but it gave the bathroom a dirty feeling, despite being very clean otherwise. Also, the bathroom is small for the size of the room. Too bad they didnt take some of the wasted space in the kitchen for the bathroom when it was designed.
The hotel is very nice from the moment you walk into the lobby and are greeted by the front desk to your departure. The cleaning staff is ready to make your beds and give you fresh linens....just hang the little doorknocker on the knob and they will be in and out before you know it. You walk in to a clean room again ready to relax. The pool is fantastic!! A full size pool that goes to 10 ft deep. Nice chairs to sit and relax in and enjoy the view. The breakfast has a wide variety of foods to choose from. Yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, a variety of breads, muffins, waffles, biscuits and gravy.....all anyone would want for breakfast. The gentleman that kept the breakfast bar cleaned and stocked greets you with a smile and a hello every morning....so nice to see the smiles! Anytime you come into contact with any of the employees they are always very friendly and smiling, ready to help you in any way they can. The beds are comfy and the pillows are nice...not the kind that smash up into a little ball once you put your head on them. The hotel is quiet when you are sleeping. We did not hear any highway noise or noise from other rooms. Outside doors latched and you need a key to get in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the area. Very close to many activities in the Perrysburgh/Maumee area and just a short drive to Toledo. Many restaurants close by along with shopping.
Check in went smoothly and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and the bed is very comfortable. However upon entering the room there was a smell of stale body odor. When you soon discovered that the pillows themselves had that oily body odor smell. It was obvious the pillows had not been washed - perhaps for sometime.
We checked in at 11:45 PM due to weather conditions along our route. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and accommodating. We found our room clean, comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was far above what would be expected at a hotel at this price point. We would definitely stay again.
Was clean and a decent room. Slept very well and no real issues. Our check in was a little slow only because others were coming in. But the gal was very pleasant and took the time to move us to the first floor. Asked about local eateries and she gave us some recommendations.
Hotel personal has been great but cleaning of the room fail way short and ask to have it cleaned the lady did not come until end of day after talking to the front desk several time and once room was supposed clean it was fifth. Recommend being ready to clean your own room when staying at hotel
Just want to give a shoutout to the front desk ladies. Deedee and I believe the younger girl is Emily. They are super great! My family stays often due to building our house and they have been wonderful. The breakfast is good and the breakfast ladies Eva and Mary are great also! The manager has been good too us also. Its just been and overall great experience. Thank you!
Not knowing where wed get before energy ran out, we didnt have a reservation, but this hotel was a good fit for the 5 of us. It was easy to check in and we even got a discount. Too late to try out the pool, but we were well impressed with the breakfast in the AM. It was mostly quiet and the room was comfortable.
We stayed here for a couple of nights. The place had a nice breakfast buffet, including eggs, sausage, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, waffles, etc. The manager had a reception for guests with a cozy bar. The front desk staff were very friendly. Our room was clean and everything worked. The only negative was no elevator, but the hotel only has two floors.
Just like the title says! We stayed at this Hotel this past Memorial Day weekend , and it is by far with the best quality and we have ever stayed at. As a Choice Rewards member I always try to stay at Choice Properties either for business or family. The front desk called our room to advise us that someone was on the way in to fix it and I said as long as I can have a king bed and a refrigerator you can move me to another room its not a problem and they said they are going to fix the issue so we dont have to move. So we took the time to check out the hotel and will checking the hotel pool out we ran into the manager again who countless times apologized what was happening in our room. We told her its no big deal I am in the food and beverage business and things happen I was not worried since they were handling the situation. We told her we were heading to dinner and would be back soon , she even offered to buy us dinner for what happened. When we came back from dinner she was at the front desk until the situation was fixed and wheres our receipt I told her its no big deal things happen what she wanted to buy us dinner for the inconvenience. That right there the way the staff was and the way they handled themselves Im great communication is awesome. I wish I would have got her name because she was amazing. Other notes about the hotel the breakfast was great the staff was friendly and they always kept the food sucked our room was spotless we had a suite (266) the microwave was clean the fridge was clean the bathroom was spotless the room just smelled fresh and clean. The pool area well kept clean plenty of towels. I wish the Hot Tub was still there, but its gone :( I will choose this hotel every year when we come to the Toledo area to visit the Toledo Zoo keep up the great work you guys are all awesome thank you again.
This hotel in convenient for travelers (just off the interstate), reasonably priced, very clean and comfortable. It has a nice breakfast dining room with great breakfast items. It also has its own bar, but I wasnt there long enough to take advantage of this amenity. The rooms were a little on the small size - but this will not keep me from stopping in on my next trip through. If you are looking for a place to stay in Perrysburg - youve found your place.
I absolutely love this place!!!!!! Its the first hotel Ive ever stayed in that came with free boxer briefs and swimming trunks and whatever the hell else is in this drawer 🙄. The room stunk of cigarettes so bad when I walked in that I immediately went down and got fabric softeners out of my car to put in front of the air conditioner...... Three more nights to go... its got to get better? or worse? or at least exciting?👍btw...if youre looking for your laundry you left in the dresser its not in the lost and found because its still in my room 🤣
Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Everytime you rolled over it squeked though. Pool was very disappointing. Dirty towels laying all over and no clean ones available. Water was cold and it needed cleaned. There was a big dead spider at the shallow end. Brought it up to staff and he responded with oh i saw that and was rude about the water temperature. No coffee cups at breakfast. Stayed here because of the price and because it had a pool. If i would have known the pool would be that bad i would have stayed somewhere else. Wont stay here again.
If you are looking for a clean, friendly, well taken care of hotel look no further. It’s tucked away directly from the road (so it feels safer) but also close to the highway and to many restaurants and a grocery store. The hotel itself is large and has some nice amenities like a swimming pool and an on site restaurant where they serve a very large variety of options for breakfast. One of the staff told us at breakfast that they offer a dinner for hotel guests on Tuesdays (taco Tuesday). I’ve seen very few hotels offer dinner for their guests so this was a nice surprise! Our room was cozy and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were super comfy and we had a great night’s rest!I have to give an extra shoutout to the staff for being so kind and hospitable. We felt very welcomed and would love to come back!
From start to finish, service was very good for mother, daughter with two young boys trip. Plenty of free parking, clean pool, clean room, excellent breakfast attendants. Quality Inn is lower on the Choice Hotel chain (cost, amenities) but this site was better than many of higher cost. Worth the stay!
We stayed with our 2 kids for a week. The wifi did not work the whole time, when I complained they said they knew and suggested I call the internet company without explaining why. Talked with manager and all he did was offer 10%off. The front desk ladies were uninformative, the food service crew was rude and the food was horrible. On Tuesday night they were doing a free taco dinner our family arrived at 630 it started at 6 and there was no food left. The room smelled really odd, the refrigerator did not kick on for a whole day, maintenance never arrived to take a look at it. The housekeeping ladies were nice for the most part but often got into arguements and cussed while on their phones and talking with other employees. One lady stayed on her phone and would talk to her boyfriend while cleaning it was super odd when my kids would hear as well.
This hotel is located in a nice area, but is definitely outdated and could use an overhaul in the bathroom. Water pressure was sufficient, but we ended up with a handicapped shower that was a little inconvenient to use. Hotel is clean and housekeeping does a good job. However, lack of coffee and staff to help with that is the reason I rated this stay average. When presented with an issue, the front desk night staff was indifferent and didnt correct it right away or offer a solution. There was only one carafe of coffee in the breakfast area with a full hotel and it ran out often - also the coffee we did get was undrinkable. Would be nice if the rooms had coffee makers & Id suggest a nice Keurig for the front lobby.
It’s ok. I’ve stayed there four times over the last year only because it’s the teams hotel when we’re in town. It is among the driest heat I’ve ever experienced. We brought a vaporizer this time in an attempt to ease the sore throats, sinus headaches, and itchy skin we experience. It helped. Each room we’ve had in the rear of the hotel seems to have tubs that do not drain and showers that barely work.
We stayed in this hotel over Memorial Day long weekend for a soccer tournament. The staff were amazing and accommodating everything that we asked for. The barbecue area was fantastic and we barbecued two nights there and they provided everything we needed for the barbecue as far as plates Cutlery and barbecue utensils go. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great time!
Beds comfortable. Staff extremely helpful and quick. Food was solid. Pool and patio area is very nice. Safe secure hotel with close access to grocery store. Only down side is not every room has a fridge and if you need a rollaway in the king room for a 3rd person there is not a lot of space.
Kind employees that are always willing to help with any questions. Beds are comfortable and I really like the pillows. They offer a wide variety for breakfast, both hot and cold. Nice pool to be used however I dont have time to swim when staying there. Area is safe and there is plenty of shopping and parks nearby.
The room was very clean and neat with no smoking, pet, or bathroom odors. I used to stay at another hotel chain that was priced similarly but about one third of the time there was one of the above mention odors or the rooms werent that clean. They were more like 2.5 star stays in my opinion.
Stayed here on a Friday/Saturday trip. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I didnt even have to ask for anything. My room key didnt work the second day of the my stay and before I even has a chance to go to the front desk, a staff member appeared, let me in my room, and returned with reprogrammed cards. NICE!! Breakfast was the typical fare and if you have gluten sensitivity like me, I would suggest making sure you have something along that you will be able to eat. But this is a problem that I find with most of the places that I stay. Really didnt use the Internet other the to check maps, so I cant comment on the speed. Quite location, easy access to the interstate system. My only negative comment: the outside door supposedly could be only open with a key card. Not the case - never was locked. Which means anyone can walk in at any time, and the door was right beside the vending and ice machines.
We so much enjoy our stays at this property. The staff is so accommodating and friendly, along with the comfortable rooms, great pool area, good breakfast. Unpretentious, but attention to details make this one of our favorite lodgings when traveling or looking for a getaway weekend destination.
Very nice hotel. Beds are amazingly comfortable and staff very friendly. Breakfast bar is huge. Theres also a normal bar amd indoor pool. They accommodated my service dog and myself with no issues. Lots of amenities here and they give you lots of toiletries. Only gripes I have is the a.c. unit was ancient and didnt work well and the king room I had was fairly small but the pros outweigh the cons by far. Will return.
We stayed here for about three months for a job and we absolutely adored the staff. Our housekeepers Craig, Tonya, and Brenda were always above and beyond helpful! The ladies in the kitchen Eva, Mary and Darlene were always so sweet to our little one and always offered help when we needed it. And the ladies at the front desk Michelle, Emily, Shari and Adrianne were always quick and curtious whenever we needed assistance. They became like family and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
I had made a reservation with another motel and when I checked in it was the worst experience I have ever had at a motel. Room was dirty, beds were not made right, overall it was awful. My wife and I checked out about 1 hour after we checked in and I found a Quality Inn. What a contrast, the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the service was great with a great breakfast.
The location is great! There are a ton of places to eat, Kroger, and a couple nice bars around the hotel! Not to mention the little bar Bruno that is inside the hotel! The bartender Angie was fantastic. I had a wedding rehearsal and my husband stayed back until I was done. Because of the new little bar it made the experience for him that much better! Angie was attentive, respectful, humorous and brought people together at her bar. We loved our stay at this hotel! Highly recommend staying at this location! We will be back!
Everything you need is within walking distance. This hotel has a friendly staff with a great setup overall. We were there for a soccer tournament and the hotel was accommodating to ensure our comfort, even with late nights and early starts. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and each time is very enjoyable. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff is always helpful and the morning breakfast items are very good and tasty. The hotel is close to local shopping and downtown Toledo is only 10 minutes away.
Wasnt there long but it seemed like a nice place. I was in a single and had a fridge and a microwave. Everything looked clean and well kept. Didnt do much looking around since I rolled in at midnight and back out at 10. The place is huge. It seemed like it took for re to find my room. Lots of long hallways. The thing I liked the most was that they have about 20 Tractor Trailer spots (full size) and all a driver side angle back. The parking lot is pretty well lit, and they use a parking pass system to keep out all trucks that arent customers. This will be my choice 9 out of 10 times when working in or around Toledo.
This hotel is near shopping, restaurants, and only 13 minutes from the University of Toledo. The amenities are amazing with a small lounge with drinks and food, a pool, outdoor lounge area, and one of the best breakfast buffets around. The rooms were clean and the staff was extremely friendly. We will definitely stay again!

2022-04-15The pool area was very nice and the times that it was open allowed for a nice amount of time to swim either late in the evening or very early morning. There was breakfast in the morning with several hot or cold options and a bar area as well for special drinks. The staff at the desk was kind and helpful also. Our room had an amazing kitchen area and was reasonably priced

2022-05-06Positive: Easy access from interstate. Negative: The bathroom in our room was filthy. There were nail clippings on the floor, toothpaste in the sink and black hair in the shower, floor and sink. It made me wonder if the sheets had even been changed. I would never stay there again!

2022-04-13Positive: Breakfast was a HOT Breakfast. Pool is large; a tad chilly and we all had fun! My kiddos didnt like having to wear a wrist band for the pool AND they got over it. Nice experience; well be back. Negative: Chilly pool water YET sauna like temp in the pool area. Turn up the pool heater and turn down the sauna air.

2022-04-24We came up to stay for the evening for a show. But we almost just drove home after seeing our room. Front desk was very nice but the hotel is very dirty. The floors looked like they had not seen a vacuum in a LONG time. We had two rooms. The room I stayed in smelled like straight cigarettes and the carpet was suspiciously wet. We could not wait to leave the next morning. We would not not stay here again.

2022-02-05We have no complaints about this Quality Inn! Fast, efficient, clean, comfortable, very good hot breakfast, large pool. We will stay here again! And, the most important part, it has real TRUCK parking!
