My guest and I stayed in several hotels under the umbrella of Choice Hotels during the week and weekend and this was by far the worst one - I would consider it lowest Quality Inn. My first mistake was pre booking a room at this establishment and using the non refundable option. The photos of the property when booking are extremely misleading and make the property look way better than it does in person. This place should be considered a motel and not a hotel because the room access are all outdoors.I am a wheelchair user and this low Quality Inn was extremely inaccessible to me. The lobby curb was extremely high and the ramp was so far down I didnt even know it existed. There was no automatic door to this establishment unlike all the others I stayed in previously that week and weeknd. The dining and vending area are also in a separate room and non electric doors and wheelchairs do not mix. I have a condition that doesnt allow me to open doors safely or at all sometimes due to the weight, angles, and inability to propel myself while doing so.The check in process was extremely awkward due to the attitude of the one man on night staff. He gave me the impression that I was an inconvenience and spoke extremely softly requiring me to ask him to repeat himself several times and asked for my credit card even though the room was booked and paid for online. The card terminal was on the highest counter completely out of reach and I had to get my guest to assist me with the transaction that ultimately failed. I trusted my guest so giving them my pin code wasnt a big deal, but that may not be the case with everyone especially if they are unaccompanied. There was one drink machine outside near the lobby that refused to take my bills and had no credit card option. This machine is also where people (even staff) decided to stand and smoke so it took a while for me to even get the opportunity to approach it for my failed attempt. The cleanliness of the room was absolutely unacceptable. It was obvious that everything from the waist down had been neglected and the bathroom was the worst Ive ever seen in any hotel establishment. In addition to the thick layer of soap scum covering the bottom of the shower doors, there were dirty boot prints in the shower pan. It was unfortunate that I needed to use the shower and was unable to clean it enough to feel comfortable enough to do so. There was no way I was going to take my shoes off in that establishment or even place my socked feet on the carpet which was also dirty and neglected. The shower door when moved let out ear piercing shrills and sounded like a truck peeling out of the parking lot.The TV in the room blacked out every 5-10 seconds and was completely unusable. The best part about this room were the beds. It was the standard updated Choice hotel bedding which I found acceptable. It seemed like there were people living on this property which I have absolutely no issues with, but the other guests were loud well past midnight.I tried to contact corporate during my stay to address the issues because I felt uncomfortable Approaching the night staff that checked me in and unsafe in the parking lot at night. I couldnt hear the staff enough to use the phone as an option so those are the reasons I ultimately decided to contact corporate. Corporate was zero help even though I explained my situation and was feeling unsafe. The check out process in the daytime was acceptable as I was greeted politely by two individuals that seemed surprised the room was in poor condition as shown to them in photos and videos. I was offered no compensation for the poor experience. This establishment should have lower fees due to the fact their property hasnt been updated, nor is it in a prime area of the city. Im not sure if Im able to leave comments about the specific cost so I will abstain from doing so, but his property cost just as much as the other establishments I had stayed in previously.
If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay dont miss this place. Clean rooms, easy access to Downtown Columbus and out of city traffic. Our room was a king with all the expected amenities. Huge shower and updated room. Tee Jays and Munchies are walking distance. Good food and great prices. Give this old place with a new smile your business. Staff is always friendly and eager to help. Be aware....Mask Mandate in Columbus October 2021.
Handicap accessible room had a nice shower chair for shower but doesn’t have a hand shower wand so makes it difficult to use shower. Toilet height is too low and assist bar near toilet not well placed. Room very clean. AC unit noisy but worked well. Price for room with organization discount very reasonable. Staff friendly & efficient.
The room was big, clean and up to date! The AC and heat both worked great. I got a smoking room which made my stay alot more convenient than a non-smoking hotel. Everything was great other than the price being a little steep for the location of the hotel. But would recommend my family and/or friends to stay here in the future.
Tiny shards of glass on the bathroom floor, broken interior door safety lock. Door was clearly kicked in at some point. I was afraid to take a shower due to these issues. Sink basin was severely cracked in multiple places. I was afraid it wouldnt hold water but it did.Room was clean otherwise. I did not feel safe though. Slept with the lights and TV on and an aerosol can by the bed. Definitely prefer hotels with an indoor entrance to rooms moving forward. First hotel room Ive stayed in that I had this many concerns. Never been afraid to shower before.
Room was great. Had most anything one would need. Only problem was noise. The housekeeping staff are apparently also running a daycare so there is lots of loud kids running around following the house keeper. Knocking on doors as they ran pass. Yelling. Getting in the way. Also clear that some people are living there and treating it like an apartment complex. Heard slamming doors until around midnight, then a cop came through and it calmed down enough for me to sleep.
I chose the location because of positive reviews. I was not disappointed with the basic room and minimal amenities, because it was clean, quiet, and had 24 hour desk service. The room was outfitted with 2 queen beds, TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, ironing board, and blow dryer. Room service and coin operated laundry, as well as ice and vending machines.
Hotel guest services were very friendly. The jacuzzi room was nice. However, the bathroom area had room for improvement. The shower faucet would not stop running water and we could hear it all night. The toilet sounded like a banshee screaming when flushed. The hotel supplied shampoo appeared to be half empty. The hotel is located in a quiet area, without the room issues, it would have been a very pleasant stay.
The carpets and the floors were filthy. Within an hour after my shower my feet were black with dirt. The lamp didnt work. We were preparing for my sons wedding and the lighting over the sink was poor. Made it very difficult to put makeup on. Also, when we got home I discovered I had left my makeup mirror. I called right away, but housekeeping hadnt found it (which is weird because it wasnt small) and someone was already in the room so they couldnt check.
Positive: upon entering the bathroom there was blood running down the side of the bathtub and there was a needle that somebody had used laying in the floor. I told a staff member about it and they said they were going to come clean it but they never came. Negative: yes the dirty needle and blood in my bathroom
Easy to book a room and nice staff. I requested a smokers room and it was pretty clean and the sheets were beyonds perfectly white. There were a few things that could be improved like the TV remote didnt have a back, toilet is super loose (I almost had a heart attack lol), there were a few burn marks on the comforter, and one of the lamps was finicky. I have had better rooms elsewhere but for the cost this was a decent place to stay.
Infestation of mice their out everywhere, even during the day i opened the 2 mice were just hanging out in front of the room door broad daylight, at night i went to get ice from the lobby 3 mice were playing in front of the door i couldn’t go in because they would have just ran into me if i open the door. If your afraid of mice i do not recommend this hotel
Check in was a touch slow, but otherwise uneventful. Huge king size bed, nice sheets. The duvet had some burn holes, but other than that, its great. Beautiful art. Quiet room. Close parking.Flat screen. Cable (HBO). Large mini fridge. Luggage rack. Microwave. If youre jumping off of 70 for the night, this is safe, quiet and near lots of food. Overall, very happy for the value, location and the room itself.
The hotel overall was great. The front desk service was polite and helpful. The breakfast was great. The room...? The carpet appeared to be pretty dirty and the bathroom ceiling over the tub was looking like it would fall into the tub at any moment. The beds were clean and uber comfy...the pillows awesome. The bedding and towels were fresh and clean.
We had a great stay. We were very comfortable and were treated very well. Everything worked, everything was clean and all supplies were stocked. Staff, especially Mr. Patel, went out of their way to do all they could for us. They did not even know we had left another hotel to find a place that we could rest on our trip; even so they stepped up in top fashion. Breakfast was good, too. I especially like the wall size black and white wall decor against the purple background. Also, thank you so much for installing thick, quality drapes to ensure our privacy..and the ac was good and cold. Also, security was on foot patrol during hours of higher traffic. Real security, for which we were happy to see. Thx for a great stay. We would stay there again. Definitely recommend this place.
Me and my husband got a king suite. We found two spiders in our bed, management just changed the sheets after I requested a different room. Tv remote didn’t work, shower and toilet was loud! The cleanliness in the room overall was terrible. One of the worst experiences we had.
I have stayed at this hotel off and on for almost three years now. All of the staff are very friendly and courteous. If you have a problem with anything they will immediately fix it. Cable tv is great. Wifi is good. Continental breakfast is excellent. Scrambled eggs, linked sausage, waffles and much more. Very quiet and peaceful. I would definetly recommend my family and friends to stay here. Still doing business here and still staying here. Love it!!!
It was the absolute dirtiest flea bag hotel I have EVER stayed in! Filthy doesnt even begin to describe it. Smoking rooms only ones available but that is no excuse for cigarette burns everywhere including all over the sheets. Hot water was cold and cold water was hot. High cold air was off and off was high cold on air conditioner. Holes were patched in walls and dust from sanding patches were never cleaned up. Light switch in bathroom probably wasnt cleaned or even wiped off since hotel was built. One of the rooms had a bed, desk and TV. NOTHING else. No drawers, no hangers, not even a place to hang clothes if there were hangers. No iron or ironing board. Loud conversations and suspicious activity all night long in the parking lot outside our room. I finally called the front desk to complained at 4 am when they turned loud music on and night clerk came over and only told them to turn music down a little. Rooms were prices more than triple normal price because of shortage of rooms in the Columbus area due to weekend long concert. Price gouging at its finest! The only reason we didnt leave as soon as we saw the deplorable condition of the rooms is because we didnt want our 80 year old mother to have to sleep in the car. In hind sight, it would have been cleaner and safer!
If your looking for a run down, unclean hotel cheap. This would be the one. Its older and slightly outdated, but thats no excuse for it not to be clean. This place is filthy, I intentionally left some crumbs on the floor to see if housekeeping would sweep. The crumbs were there for 10 days straight. I went our and purchased Clorox wipes myself and wiped down everything. The bathroom smelled like a state park latreen. the tub was nasty. Theres no excuse for not being clean in this country, when soap and water are plentiful. Spend a little extra or it will be disappointing.
I am giving a 3- star because the first room they gave us had BED BUGS! It was room 219 on the first floor and bugs were coming from the back of the bed and crawling onto the front and pillows. We came back to the hotel late from a conference and noticed the bugs at 1:30am, but despite being so late I went to the front desk and demanded a new room for our safely. They gave us a new room immediate on the second floor room 211, and it was 10x much better! The room didnt stink or smell a hint of smoke, the beds were nicely done, and most importantly, NO BED BUGS! Breakfast was not bad to be honest. To my surprise, they offered scrambled eggs and sausage, which not many hotels at this class would do.
The rooms were decorated in a very modern way. Everything was clean, and we were provided with everything we needed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful- you could tell they wanted the guests to be happy. I was surprised to find such a nice place to stay for such an inexpensive rate. I recommend this place to others, and I would stay there again if Im ever in the area.
Bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way. Breakfast was far below average based on other quality inn and suites I’ve stayed at. Out of sausage and low on eggs 45 minutes before breakfast ended and the breakfast attendant was packing up all of the breakfast stuff 30 minutes before breakfast ended on a Saturday while talking on her cell phone the entire time. The rooms were average the bed was phenomenal as always with quality inns and suites. Internet speed was good.
Great experience! Staff excellent morning and evening. Room was satisfactory for the price i paid I will definitely look at staying here again . The area was very quiet compared to a motel that i stayed at last year for twice the amount. I wish there would have been something that I could have eaten before I left at 5:30 A . it was too early for the breakfast to be served but I had a time line to be on. I also liked that the parking lot was well lit. I felt it was secure where were . thank you
We were at Camp Anarchy left without a hotel after our previous arrangement canceled on us, and they were very nice to us. Got us in late at night and booked us on extremely short notice. Very friendly staff when I was there. Beds and pillows are okay. Showers were fine. Would recommend if you need a place to stay for a couple days, but arent looking for something fancy. Best of all, didnt break the bank.
The room appeared to be recently remodeled, or very well kept. The bed was comfortable, the refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot & hair dryer all were in good working order. The bedding, towels and carpets were clean. The manager and morning check-out personnel were pleasant. The location was quiet. Overall a great overnight stay.
Due to the fact that the room I was in, the front door bottom frame was broken, bathroom door and frame was broken, tear in chair, the bathroom ceiling was pealing. We on,y stayed one out of three nights, but only was refunded one night not twoIf know how to post pictures to this review I would
I booked this hotel a couple weeks in advance, with the intention to arrive in the late evening. I made sure ahead of time that there was 24 hour desk service. About 10 minutes before I arrived I receive a call on my phone so I answer (assuming the only place that would call me is the hotel). As soon as I answer all I hear is “are you coming?” No introduction, greeting, name exchange, nothing. I was then told they were calling because I was the last one to check in. So I explained I was on my way and had a 7 hour drive that had some heavy traffic. I also booked a non-smoking room, which apparently all of the rooms were nonsmoking. Wrong again. My room was overpowered by the smell of cigarettes. On top of that there were dead bugs on the bathroom counter and our cabinets were falling off the hinges. The lack for the chain on the door was also broken-which was a major issue considering the door lead to outside. We had to pile two chairs in front of the door to ensure our safety. The hotel was so disgusting my boyfriend and I contemplated leaving a day early and losing the money I had paid for the second night because we just wanted to get out of there.
Room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. The only things that were slightly irritating are the parking lot drive is narrow and with only 1 way in and out it can be inconvenient if someone is coming in the opposite direction. And the TV remote only worked near the edge of the bed in front of the TV but not a big deal. Didnt try room service because we didnt know they had it until after we had dinner but it looked fairly priced and I noticed you can also use Ecash vouchers.
Greeted with a wonderful smile and energy. The room was spacious comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and filled us up to get our day started. We would stay here again. So much to see and do nearby the hotel. We did have a little trouble with the wi fi, but we really did not need it anyway.
Horrible the room was dirty. Tub had foot prints in it. Called for help and staff ignored the call. Even after my stay the hotel management would not return my call. I will never stay again. The area was unsecured. The door looked as someone has broken into it. The room was outdated. Bedding was old and stained
I have been staying here throughout the year and this place has always been making improvements. I am truly amazed at what they have done. Their rooms are extremely comfortable/nice. The service is extremely accommodating. The hot breakfast also a plus in the morning. Last but not least I am very happy with their internet as I am always able to get my work done. Will always come back when in the Columbus area and a definite recommendation in the area.
I booked a room nearly last minute for the 19 Mopar Nationals. I was lucky to even get a room, especially without paying an incredible premium for the short notice and high demand. Customer service was informative and friendly. Coffee was excellent. I like my cream and sugar with a little bit of coffee, but I could drink the provided coffee black all day. The Wi-Fi was rather spotty, without using a high-demand device. The laptop I used for mild web-surfing would disconnect every 20-30 mins. Overall, 8.5/10 and would definitely book again. In fact, I will be again.
Was ok for a place to crash after a music festival. Was looking for something affordable since we stayed many nights. This was fairly close to our destination & the price was right. The room smelled pretty bad (like smoke or mold) & was very damp inside, but my husband didnt mention it. I didnt want to make a big deal about it & he didnt seem to mind, so I didnt ask for a new room. The water pressure & temp in the shower varied wildly. It kept spraying normally, then would drop to a trickle, going from hot to cold in an instant. It did this every day.Breakfast was ok. Eggs were burnt & they ran out of syrup for the waffles, so we didnt try it again. The other days, we just bought some food from the grocery store & used the in-room fridge & microwave - which was a plus. TV worked, internet worked for every day except the 1st day. Bed was ok. No sign of bedbugs (thank goodness), but there was a spider behind the bed that I quickly moved along. Interactions with staff were good. Some of the reviews I saw about the area being crime ridden are either exaggerating or outdated. We had no issues (with crime) & I think some of the undesirable elements have left the area. Overall, if you are looking for something cheap and you arent staying very long, this may be the spot for you. I dont know if I would stay in this area for that long again - but it served its purpose.
Didnt expect much due to the location and previous history of the establishment but you can tell the property is trying. Updated paint and furniture makes the room look better but minor cosmetic fixes are needed. (running toilets, cracks in walls, having to slam doors for proper security, etc.) Breakfast was sub-par and the sausage couldve been cooked longer. Okay for the stay of a quick getaway, would return ;)
For a typical chain hotel, our stay was okay. The room and the bathroom looked clean. But the room did have a slight cigarette smell. I quickly got used to the smell and could barely notice it. The breakfast had the typical eggs, sausage, waffel maker and cereal. The coffee was hotel coffee. We opted out for a near by drive thru for coffee drinks.
Horrible!!!! We laid in bed for less than 2 hours, couldnt sleep because we were itching so bad. Felt like we were being bitten, showered off, definitely covered in bites, still itchy. The person at the front desk said it wasnt something she could call the manager for. Also that she couldnt give us a refund. We are going to find another hotel now.
Stayed 2/12/18 - 2/15/18I tell you the dates i stayed because it is very important! This Hotel has been Re-branded into a Quality inn, A lot of the old reviews are from when this location was a Super 8, Even though still owned by the same people. Some of the problems areas have been closed down. Staying in the new and improved Hotel was great! The staff was amazing, From The front desk checking me in, Fast and easy, All the way to the housekeepers ! The rooms were very clean with very comfortable beds! The pillows are to die for! Waking up and checking out was simple and fast, The owner was very friendly. And to top it all off, They had a HOT Buffet breakfast, Which in this area is very hard to find. Great Staff,Great rooms,Great WI-FI,Great breakfast. This hotel is a hidden gem! They dont have many reviews due to the re-branding, But this place beats the surrounding hotels by a mile! This was simply a good stay, Price was good. This place even has a on-site Security officer who was very friendly, Even Though the night was quiet, It made me feel safe, Knowing this hotel care about are safety. Coming back to visit family, This is where i will stay.
Clean modernizing motel that was quiet and well maintained. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety though not as many selections as Comfort Inns Ive stayed at. Would stay again if I had a need for lodging in that area. Nothing pretentious, just clean comfortable accommodations at a good price.
I was only in the room for about 6 hours. The shower water pressure was horrible. The A/C didnt work and if it did it was minimal. There were very few outlets in the room. The ones that were there I had to wedge one of the hotel shampoo bottles in between the to cell phone chargers to get them to stay in the wall. The main room light was flickering on arrival. If I wasnt only there for such a short time to just rest I would have been even more upset. Felt like a waste of money I could have just slept in my car.
Price was commiserate with the accommodations which met expectations.Hotel has no general lobby but because we met in the summer we enjoyed meeting with other team members on the rail outside our rooms. Only real negative - did not expect the breakfast to end by 9am. Seems too early compared to other hotels.
This hotel is not up to even one star. Although, I would give one star if only for the Staff working there who are very nice. The hotel needs a lot of improvements. It needs to be renovated badly. Parking spaces are too small especially when large trucks are parked. Bathrooms tend to be unclean and have old vent heaters.
This was by far the worst Choice Hotel I have ever stayed in. If I hadn’t needed to stay there for work, I would have asked for a refund and left. The room looked clean but it smelled musty. I sat tge theremostat down to 60 and still woke up because I was too hot. It obviously didn’t work. The water pressure in the shower was horrible. Breakfast was fine, but it is difficult to mess that up.
I typically stay at a ChoiceHotels brand hotel when I travel and have for years. I was very disappointed in this particular hotel. The room was small and the lighting was poor. There were not enough outlets to charge phones, computers and such. There were ants crawling on the night stand which made me feel the room was not properly cleaned. The bathroom was very small and antiquated. There was a fridge in the room but not a microwave which makes no sense because you cant warm up anything you put in the fridge. Over all I was not happy with my stay at this hotel and will not return.
This Quality Inn is a little hard to find, set back from the road. When I checked in, I received no directions to my room, and I wandered to a section under renovation, where a helpful workman directed me to the proper area. The Queen bed seemed more like a full than a queen, but had a good mattress. Breakfast was a real disappointment--no eggs were left, tho we went an hour before breakfast was supposed to end. Hailed a desk clerk, who said hed get some in 3 minutes, but we had to get out on the road after waiting for 20, and then had to stop at a McDs to have some protein. Could spruce up its customer service.
Upon checking in asked for upgrade to jaccuzzi room and was quoted full room rate, then at end of night i checked and jaccuzzi rooms still not filled. Guess they didnt want any more of my money. One of the days the TV went out from 9:30 AM to 3 PM was told every half hour its almost fixed. Then was told we could go to breakfast area if we REALLY wanted to watch TV. Then TV workers were in our room for hour and left our door open. The workers were listening to very loud heavy metal music in MY room as they worked and while i was trying to watch tv episodes on my tablet ( which i couldnt hear over heavy metal music) . Also carpet in room so dirty it made our socks black (thankfully i brought house shoes). We enjoyed a late night music event in the area and asked for an hour or two later checkout, surprise they were unwilling to accommodate that request either. Guess it takes ALOT of time after checkouts to clean a room until its STILL dirty. Columbus has many options better than this.
Staying at this Quality Inn hotel was more, to me, like staying at an EconoLodge or Rodeway Inn. I expect to have an entry door that is to the outside. Those are obviously less safe than hotels with an interior hallway, requiring access to the building interior to get to the room. I do not expect this from a Quality Inn. However, this hotel is set up like those 2 lower rated hotel types. Additionally, there was no television reception in the room. We were tired and basically went to bed anyway, but in the morning, after going to the breakfast area, again requiring walking outside in the very cold air, there was television in the breakfast area. So upon returning to the room, there was still no television reception in the room. There was nothing stated about a room rate reduction, even with this malfunction.
This hotel was dirty and falling apart with little to no upkeep. The rug was discolored and dirty in several locations. Just left my shoes on in the room. Sheets on bed were stained. Numerous repairs had bare spackling and caulking with no paint at all. Hair dryer plug was broken and split apart plugged in the outlet! Felt like I was in a third world country. Horrible. I can not believe this is a Choice Hotel franchise.
The general mgr is horrible. Requested I leave because he, his absent security officer and front desk personnel cant control their guests from telling and screaming n messaging with other guests personal property therefore i called the law and the next day was asked to leave. Then they told my insurance company that there was room damages (after being there 2 weeks they requested a credit card for incidentals [they dont have anything extra that you can get] i refused.
Decent place, good price, good location, quiet area and plenty of parking. Maintenance could slightly be improved, but that could be said of all hotels. My one complaint is that the plumbing seems inadequate, at 9 am the shower would jump to freezing if someone flushed a toilet somewhere. Otherwise good stay for a last minute Columbus trip.
I/We were very disappointed with this Choice Hotel. We have stayed in many Choice Hotels and they were good. We actively selected a Choice because of our previous experience, but we were very dissatisfied. When I called the customer service number the next day to complain, the gentleman heard my complaint but representatives tried to talk me into some promotions they were running. They were more concerned about me committing to these than my reason for the call. Was not happy with that.
Water temperature went from normal to freezing to scalding hot in a mater of minutes; this was every time we took a shower; not in the greatest neighborhood and it appeared there were some people living there; this is fine but these people were not very respectful to the rest of the folks staying there. Breakfast was ok but the coffee was terrible.
The price was cheaper than many other hotels in the area, but I think it was still overpriced, considering how unexpectedly grungy it felt, and the fact that rooms open straight onto the parking lot, which didn’t make me feel super safe. Everything was reasonably clean, and the service was all right, but I wouldn’t really want to stay here again.
Horrible!I have no idea where the pictures came from (possibly when it was built?) This place resembled a worn out hotel and we were charged $150 per night including all taxes and fees which was outrageous the air conditioner was broken and was venting exhaust gas into the room and also moisture there was visible mold all around it and the beds had stains on them when we got there it was late at night and we had to deliver someone to the airport very early so we did not have enough time to challenge anything the next day when I brought it up to management they said we should have said something immediately. There were people outside yelling the entire night and the hotel walls and doors with a newspaper in the morning at about 7 there was an extreme Exodus of people I think somebody was knocking on our door thinking it was theirs if they werent it was extremely loud every time I door would shut everything in the room would rattle.no matter what expense I would not recommend this place I wish I had took pictures of it but I didnt all I recommend is if you go to Google maps and look it up on their street view youll see how dumpy this place actually is.Avoid it!
I booked 14 rooms on behalf of a group here for Arnold 2018. Pramod was very responsive and easy to work with when making the reservation. They also made sure that they were well-prepared with breakfast in the mornings when we all needed to eat at 6am and depart by 6:30am.
The hotel is just east of Columbus Ohio. Located just off the interstate. Easy to get to. Made reservation so when I arrived everything was in order. Very friendly staff. The room was very comfortable. Spent one night. Breakfast was ready early the next morning. Good choice of items and excellent food.
This Quality Inn Columbus-East in Reynoldsburg, is a bad representation of the Quality brand. The parking lot was littered with rubbish -paper and foil. The room was smelly and looked worn out! I went to flush the toilet and it took me several tries to get it to work finally. Thats when I felt I had had enough and checked out without spending the night! This was an awful experience!
It was terrible! The neighbors were arguing and it was as if they were in our room. They kept us awake until staff decided go move us after 3am instead of kick them out for disturbing others. Terrible to have to make my 78 year old aunt pack and carry her tbi gs down the sidewalk to another room. Very angry and disappointed.
The Quality Inn Columbus East Reynoldsville my hotel room had an iron ironing board blow dryer refrigerator all were clean and good working order. The staff at the Quality Inn Columbus East Reynoldsburg Ohio were all friendly and courteous and very helpful stay here again
Its not in the best area, but it was cheap and you get what you pay for. The staff was friendly and helpful. Luckily, there were no bugs and the room seemed to be clean. The wifi was frustrating because we constantly had to keep signing in even if we didnt go anywhere.
The bathroom in this facility was horrible and should be updated as soon as possible. The bathroom ceiling has water damage and was caving in the bathroom door had damage when you close all the way. But it should also install a ventilation system to get rid of some of the moisture from the jacuzzi. After I use the jacuzzi the walls and floor for what with moisture and there was a damp smell from the bathroom I had an asthma attack and couldnt stay the whole night.
I woke up with 3 bed bug bites, found a bunch crawling on the cover and the staff didn’t even care. I showed them pictures and let them come in and see and they just blew it off. I asked for a refund and they charged me for another night! Took 2 hours for them to get it right. WORST STAY EVER!!! Would NOT recommend to stay here
I have been going through a rough patch lately and this is where I ended up staying for a few days.. The food is amazing in the morning and the staff are very kind.. They found me a room as soon as possible.. The morning shift guy is the best ;) He really lifted my spirits this morning when I went in for breakfast :) You never know where you might end up in life but this is a great stop if you need to take a break from life ;) Thank you guys so much for being the best Quality Inn my room is so clean!!!
The Indian guy behind the desk is racist as hell didn’t want to service a diamond member because of my skin color.. hotel was empty and he claims there weren’t any cars in the parking lot... then I asked him may I use your restroom as I drive otr moving furniture ... he replies we don’t have one smh poor display of customer service and a lack of “quality”service Definitely would never recommend this place to anyone... shame on you quality inn Columbus east!!! Get with the times buddy

2022-06-15Very under stocked room. Carpets are extremely dirty have a sticky feel to it. Everybodys feet was black we all take a shower the night before and the next morning from walking around on the carpet our feet were black. I asked a cleaning lady when the last time the floors were cleaned and she said A week ago I doubt that very seriously they also stated that theyre in the process of replacing the carpet well they need to hurry it up.

2022-04-02We stayed here for an event this weekend and it was close to the event but it is very noisy at the motel. Lots of road noise, sirens, loud music, and horns honking at all hours of the night. Columbus is the city that never sleeps. They gave us breakfast which was nice and the motel was very clean and the bathroom was newly remodled.

2022-03-29Positive: The price. Negative: Upon arrival we unloaded our belongings, my daughter was using the restroom and a large amount of discolored water from the bathroom above came pouring down on her. All we received was another room. No continental breakfast was available as advertised.

2022-05-27Not bad for last minute, rooms are updated and clean and no bugs. Parking was crunched but hey we were safe and had a place to stay

2022-06-12Rooms were nice, the outside looks a little dated, but you can see they are putting a lot of work into the place. The owners care about the place.

2022-02-10Room was very clean. Check-in process efficient, staff pleasant. Loud noises on second floor starting at about 5 am kept this from being a perfect experience.

2022-02-23Worst by far of all the Quality Inns Ive stayed in over the past 15 plus years. I havent traveled for a couple years but did not expect this when I counted on a good experience at a Q inn like I always had previously. I hope the whole chain has not slipped to this low level
