I had an amazing experience, Jade and Emma helped me today. They were so nice and was readily available to help me fit my dress properly all they while helping other customers. Both of their customer service is perfect, I will recommend and shop again.
Savannah was excellent help when it came to shopping for a prom dress. She went above and beyond helping us find the perfect dress and was patient with us when trying on all the different dresses there. Would definitely come back.

She’s absolutely amazing so lucky to have her. She was amazing and when we come back in January hopefully to have her for my senior prom. Pure couture has great prom and homecoming dress selections to choose from! They have a variety of sizes and styles! There costumer service is very quick and all of the employees are very nice and friendly. Whenever I go there to find a dress it always is the employees goal to help you find your dream dress! All of the dresses are in great condition and if you find one that isn’t the employees will always take it and fix it! I can’t wait to go back and shop again for my next school dance!

Like many other girls, I get insecure when I try on clothes, but especially dresses. However, when I went to pure couture to find my homecoming dress, I found myself feeling like I was shopping for a dress with two sisters (Jade and Abbey) I never had. They made me feel welcomed, they were incredibly sweet and helped me in figuring out which color, style, neckline, etc. looked the best on me. Now I am looking forward to my homecoming instead of feeling scared, thank you Abbey and Jade!
The lady’s there were so helpful and polite! They helped in anyway we needed! This is my third time buying a gown from their store and I would buy another one if I had another event! Keep doing a great job ladies and your stellar customer service is appreciated! You made us feel welcomed!!

They have the absolute sweetest workers I have ever met in my entire life! They helped me pick dresses, match jewelry, and were overall some of the nicest girls I’ve ever met in a store. One of the woman who I presume was the manager was absolutely so sweet and helped pick dresses and gave opinions. They have amazing selections and I bought my dress for prom from here. I’ve lost track of how many dresses we have bought here for my girls! If you live close I highly recommend coming during the week when you can really take time to browse. Mackenzie has always worked with my girls to pick the dresses she thinks will fit their body types best. The quality of the dresses is far better than those in department stores and while there are super expensive dresses if you don’t want to spend that much they always have options! We have spent anywhere from $150 to $300 but usually end up somewhere in the middle. If you take your time to look you will find something that your daughter will love! Don’t be intimidated by the crowd. It’s worth the hype! Like I said, come during the week if the crowd isn’t for you!
I had a bad experience with pure. Staffing was the major issue. While it is an expensive store they did (until COVID) have an outlet store. And after hearing my concerns I was reached out to and steps were taken to be corrected. And for that alone my review has been changed. (From a 1 to a 3)It is a clean store with a large selection.There is something for everyone if you are willing to pay the price.My old post will remain here :This was supposed to be fun.My sister and I went in to find a formal dress we had a budget I find reasonable, around $300 dollars , alittle more would be fine. We started picking things out and had a good time. the shop attendants asked once in awhile if we were doing okay and took our dresses to the fitting room.Then I saw a beautiful green green without a tag and asked for the pricing, the lady came back to me and told me it was $480, way off of my budget, and offered to take it to my fitting room. I smiled and said “Thank you but it’s a bit pricy”, after that moment the attendants became distant and cold, at the time there was only one other girl trying on dresses.Shortly after two high school girls came in, they were collecting $500 dollar dresses were being catered to like queens, being offered dresses and suggestions.But what really sealed the deal for me was this beautiful pink floor length gown. Around $350, absolutely beautiful. And Big.For reference I’m about 5 foot 5 and 100 pounds, I know I’m skinny and I knew this was gonna be a challenge.So after I had tried it on, I asked if they had another size even in a different colour or if they could order it. She said “I’m so sorry but they are all sold out”. It had some wear and tear from other people trying it on, some seams were starting to get stretched out and a few of the closures were missing but all of that could be fixed at a tailors.Honestly, I was going to buy it right then and there. I took a pause because they don’t do returns, and it was in rough shape.I tried on a few others but they just didn’t feel right, so I put the pink dress on one more time. I felt gorgeous, so I took it off and sat down with my sister, I looked at the tag and googled the designer because I wondered if they had anything similar in a smaller size at the store, and found my dress perfectly in stock from the designers website for about $150. (Less then half)Then my curiositygot the better of me.I went on the Pure website and did a quick search, and they didn’t even have the correct brand on the website. They were trying to pass it off as a much more prestigious brand when the sewn on tags clearly stated otherwise.I understand for a dress store that regularly sells dresses for $500 and up, my dress was small fries, but they just had to place an order, I would’ve been fine paying extra to expedite shipping.Instead I was lied to and probably would’ve spent another $100 on tailoring and fixing some of the seams and small tears.I left and ordered it through the designer when I got home.Pure did have an outlet store for I believe a few years, but because of COVID it was momentarily closed, I do believe it will be reopened.If you are not willing to spend over $500 there, you will be pushed aside very quickly. Not to mention a large portion of their dresses had damage. Beading was falling off (not one or two but whole sections were bear) and seams were split on several of the more form fitting dresses. In my opinion, go there to try stuff on, but don’t purchase anything, just google the designer and buy it online. It’ll be much cheaper, and it will come brand new.This was in April of 2021, so I understand they need revenue but a sale is a sale and I wasn’t trying to buy a $99 dress, $300 is a nice chunk of change.

The dresses looked like used dresses being sold at retail price. Alot of their dresses had rips, tears, stains and so many more issues. My daughter found a dress that she loved but it was ripped so we has to pass. Im not spending that much money on a dress thats ruined before it even leaves the store.
They have a great selection of beautiful dresses in many different styles and colors. The staff is also super helpful! Definitely recommend scheduling an appointment with them :)

The prom promise has guaranteed that no other girls would have the same dress as me. I had a dress that was a little too big that I was absolutely in love with and the staff were able to recommend someone down the street that made the dress fit perfectly. I came into pure today for their twelve days of giveaways with my cousin. We both were able to get our first prom dresses for free. The workers were so sweet and patient with us it being our first time dress shopping! It was an awesome experience!
Ive come here for many homecoming, and now finally prom! Ive looked online and no one had anything in plus sizes that didnt look frumpy or like a potato sack except Pure Couture! Not only did they have plus sized dresses but they were fun, and cute just like all the other sizes. The ladies were beyond amazing in helping me find my dream dress!

Pure Couture is the best formal dress shop in the ohio area!!! Not only are the gowns beautiful, but so are the employees!!! Every employee treats you like family and helps you with excitement finding you a dress!!! I honestly cant say enough about this awesome shop. We have also made a wonderful friend from coming to the shop, her name is Makenzie!! She has such an awesome eye for what gown looks good on my daughters figure. She has picked her dress/gown out for all her dances!!! its so sad because my daughter is a senior this year and will no longer need a gown for school functions!!! (but I have a little niece that we will take there when she starts going to dances!!)
I’ve loved all of my experiences at Pure Couture! I’ve gone there for all my dances throughout high school, and I wouldn’t have done it any other way. You can really tell that all of the employees have a real passion for the business and care about each of their customers because they’re a family business and do not get paid commission!
Super nice place, it was just remodeled. The girls are very helpful and the dresses are beautiful. (They carry mostly designer dresses so if youre looking for a bargain this isnt the place to go.) Expect to spend at least $300 on a prom dress but most are $450+.

I went in here to look at some dresses for an upcoming event that I had. I hadnt been to this store before but I passed it on the way back from a trip on my way home to Cincinnati. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised that there were SO MANY options. I dont like too make things that are over the top but these dresses were able to help me stand out while keeping my personal style. They have so many cuts, colors, and textures. They have something for everyone! Im in love with the new trend of crop tops with skirts and Pure Couture even had a few options this style for me to try on! Needless to say, I found the perfect dress for my event and I felt absolutely amazing the whole night that I wore it. Its still hanging in my closet and I smile whenever I see it. I highly recommend visiting Pure Couture to anyone whos looking for an amazing dress for an important night or event.

They never disappoint! The customer service is wonderful and make everyone seem special. They check over every dress before you purchase and If they notice any damage on the dress they offer a small discount to be able to get a seamstress to fix it. They go above and beyond!

Our shopping experience fell below my expectations. The shop is nice and clean. We were greeted and the sales girl explained where everything was located and then that was the end of any offered assistance during our hour and a half visit. 6 girls working on a Saturday morning, very few customers. The sales team was quick to replace items to stock but never offered to help otherwise. All customers were treated the same. With the staff to customer ratio, when we visited, there were more sales people than customers. No personal assitance was offered unless I directly asked about a certain dress, then I was given assistance regarding that dress and that was all, the sales girl walked away, no further assitance was offered. The selection also fell below what I had expected. We were shopping for homecoming, we were shopping about 8 weeks in advance, so I would have expected a greater variety. There were two rooms of long dresses so maybe they are more prepared for prom. *Response to owner: We visited on 8/6.
Terrific variety styles, sizes and colors. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Dressing rooms and three way mirrors available. The back room is where you will find the clearance dresses, but still expect $200 and up. Retail for the dresses in front are anywhere from $350 to $550. There may be higher prices as well. Store is well laid out and feels open. Also well lit so you can see true colors of dresses.

I used to love this place until I saw their 2019 influencers. All of them besides two are blonde, white girls. The store raves about having such a large size selection, but all of their influencers are no bigger than a size 6. I’m very disappointed that they have applications and promote applying when they only select one type of girl. It’s very discouraging to other girls and it’s very discriminative. I will no longer be shopping there.

2022-04-10Update: the owner reached out and apologized profusely. Unfortunately, it was impossible for her to correct the issue in the very narrow time frame but she has made every effort to correct the issue going forward including examining the brand and style of dress to be sure the dresses she buys in the future are quality and free from defects. I can ask nothing more than her time and attention in this matter and feel comfortable buying again given the response.While the service in the store was exceptional, the shop does not take responsibility for selling defective (and yet very expensive) dresses. We took extreme care with my daughters prom dress. However, when she went to put it on an hour before prom, the sequence began falling off in a pile onto the floor. I called and was told that my receipt stated they were not responsible for anything after the dress leaves the shop. While I understand this in some cases, I would expect a brick and mortar to stand behind their merchandise or at least care that they are selling low quality dresses. Buyer beware, this store will sell you defective dresses, charge you a lot, and not stand by their dresses. I thought I was being respectful by purchasing from a local family run, brick and mortar, I guess that respect only went one way. I have 3 daughters but I will only be burned once.

2022-01-05We drove over two hours to prom shop for my daughters senior prom and I have to say it was worth the drive. The store is large and classy without being stuffy. The staff is friendly and helpful without being pushy. It was a wonderful atmosphere. And the prices seem great. Sadly my daughter wasn’t ready to pick out “the one” that will be her senior prom dress, but since the store gets in new items daily, I think we’ll be back to try again. I do recommend this shop for your formal gown needs.

2022-02-19My daughter and I drove 2 1/2 hours to look for her senior prom dress, and this was definitely the best formal dress shopping experience we have ever had. The store is so organized, and there are SO many amazing dresses to choose from. Abby and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. She was able to find the dresses we were looking for and gave helpful advice. I would recommend Pure Couture to anyone who is prom dress shopping!

2022-04-15Found the perfect prom dress at a different store but they did not offer ordering for sizes or colors. Pure Couture to the rescue! Online ordering was easy, with dates given to ensure it would be here in time. The store communicated along the way, friendly and prompt responses to my questions. Dress arrived one day after they received it, wrapped, and packed perfectly.

2022-01-22My daughter and I were shopping for a prom dress today, Brooklyn’s helped us and she was amazing! Brooklyn was so attentive and very patient with our indecisiveness. 2022-03-05Drove from Indiana to shop for my daughter a prom dress. My daughter was having trouble finding the wow dress within the hour appointment allowed. When they saw we were struggling and stressed about it, the extended our time allowed. Hannah and Brooklynn did everything they could to help her find the perfect dress. 2022-04-04I know we are last minute prom dress shopping but for a store that sells dresses for $500 most were torn & had lots of wear showing from people trying them on. In my opinion these dresses shouldn’t be sold at all they were that bad but instead they were offering a discount on it. Umm no thanks not for a $500 dress. We left immediately. They really need to take better care & look at these dresses before putting them back on the floor.
