Brandi took care of everything for me, from start to finish. She took great care to answer all of my questions and returned my calls promptly. Im so glad that the unit I was originally interested in was unavailable because Brandi showed me another size option that was better suited to my needs. Ive had a great experience at Public Storage so far and plan to be with them in the future for all of my storage needs. Thank you so much to Brandi! She does an excellent job and Im grateful for her service.
Brandy was very helpful getting my storage unit set up. She answered all of my questions and showed me the unit in advance to ensure it would work for me. She upsold the things she is supposed to (lock, insurance, furniture covers) but did not push the matter for the things I declined (I did buy a lock, though!) The unit was clean and easy to get to. Apparently the place gets pretty dark once the sun goes down, but thats not unexpected. This is the first time I have rented a storage unit, and the experience was great.
Have went to pay my bill twice and there was know one in the office no notes of why office was closed went back four different times stl called the main number and one left td me just to go and sit And wait for someone to show up it was 84 degrees out side and bad three shoes with me .so because there people was not at there job they charged me a late fee plus put lien on my unit. They are always charging you some kind of fees .custom derby people are rude and the guy was the most rudest person I have ever had stolen to .
It’s okay. I’ve had my unit since March. The day we looked at our unit the one they were going to give us didn’t have a working light so the lady said she’d give us a different one, and that units light is broken too and has never been fixed 😂 they seem like a good price, but there are soooo many hidden fees so definitely shop around. Also for some reason they MAKE you leave a positive review before you leave. This made me extremely uncomfortable. They stand there and watch you as they make you leave a positive review mentioning their name in it. I told the lady my phone wasn’t working and I’d do it when i got home (as to not be rude and just say “no.” She said that’s fine I’ll stand here and wait while you fix the problem! She even offered for me to do it off of her phone. At that point i was definitely weirded out and i should have just walked out of there.
There wasnt an option for no stars, otherwise I would give this location a 0/5 rating.The woman at the desk never answers the phone and is rude. The district manager is just as rude and unprofessional!The security is TERRIBLE! The gate is left up all the time. Cars come and go without entering a code.The lock to the building were my unit was located was broken off. When I asked to have it replaced, because the security of my property was compromised and thats what I payed for, the manager and district manager refused to replace it! I canceled.I have to work, unlike the people at this business, or I would list more problems.Dont waste your money and risk your possessions!There are many other storage places.
Brandy was the manager I met with when I first put in my online reservation and was very friendly and helpful. Fast forward 2 days later and Lindsey was running the property when I came back to actually rent a unit. Again very friendly and helpful with everything all my question were answered.
I have had dealings with a few self storages facilities within the past year. I found Public Storage to be the most professionally accomplished. The agents I have had dealings with the first was BRANDY at your Mt Carmel location. She was very eager to pause her lunch break to tend to and answer the question that I had being one with physical limitations that I have. She went above and beyond any others company offer, but her soft skills or customer service would have moved me to choose your company even if the cost was greater than any others. I, like so many other seniors, live on a fixed income your company worked with me to get something desperately needed at this season of my life, I applaud your hiring practices of the team members to take on as your agents, for your choices not only bring positives your bottom line. Give praise to your team trainers for they represent you well.
Was a at public storage helping a friend get stuff out for a yard sale.i stopped in the office to inquire about price for a small unit. Brandy was so bubbly and friendly. She answered all my questions.she seems to really enjoy what she is doing which reflects on her customer service. Kudis to Brandy and public storage for having such a wonderful empolyee.
Amy was the agent that assisted me during the process of setting up my unit. She did an excellent job, and was extremely helpful, positive and pleasant to talk to. I would recommend her to anyone in need of assistance with moving and packing! Amy is there to help! Thanks Mt Carmel Public Storage!
Place is nice and clean. It had a good security policy. Robby was the attendant and did a great job walking is through the rental agreements and the policies and made sure we were happy and he showed us everything before we talked business. He also walked us around and showed us different units to fit our needs.
I reserved a space online a week prior to my move. The online system was extremely easy to navigate and Brandi was immediately able to pull up my reservation up arrival. the process was simple, easy and very cost effective. The unit was clean and in a great location to the front gate. Brandi walked me to and from the unit for inspection and had my auto payment and access set up in minutes. It is great to have a place so close to home and business that I can drop into at any time. Thank you to Brandi and the Public Storage Team for such an awesome experience.
I had a good experience today with Public Storage. I am out and about looking at different Storages places with sizes and prices. Amy whom showed me around was really professional about everything and very pleasant to speak with. When Im ready to store I will be coming here. Thank you!
I have rented 3 units at this facility for almost 20 years now. The property is always clean and Brandi takes care of me. She knows all of her 700 customers by name and makes sure everyone walks out of her office with a smile. I highly recommend this Public Storage and Brandi. I wouldnt go anywhere else!
I have had a storage unit here for years and the place is always clean. Brandi is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make her customers happy. Even though she has over 600 customers she knows each one by name. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Thanks for everything girls!
I have been storing for 6 months so far and just went to pay for another 6 months, Tawnya was so wonderful, she explained everything in detail, she made sure I left knowing how to set up my own account to manage myself, she assured me that my items are good hands with her there, she had informed me that I was not insured, and i immediately was able to fix that with her. She greeted me with a smile and more than willing to help me from taking a payment all the way to asking me if i have my things inside the unit covered, if i needed anything to make sure that I received my things out of storage the same way that I had placed them inside!!!! During my time at public storage I have not Ever met anyone like her and with as much eagerness to make sure that i am still pleased with my unit six months later. It was great to feel like someone else cared about my belongings as much as I do!!! Great Job Tawnya and I hope she can see this and realize how much I appreciate all of her help on Friday!!!!:)
I went in to see about renting a storage space and had a great conversation with the manager Tawnya. She showed me the location and a few units and I was happy with what I was shown. I did not rent today but if you go to the location make sure you go and see Tawnya she is the best and very helpful with every need youll have!! Kudos to Tawnya and I definitely will be back to see you!
I would like to say that the size guide on the website is misleading. I made a reservation for a 5x12 the day of my move. So I filled up my u-haul and headed to the storage center. When I get there, the front desk lady, took me to go see the unit. Come to find out that the 5x12 unit has a 3 wide door entrance. My assumption was that there was possibly a 5 roll up door to where I can easily enter and arrange my stuff. There was no way that Im going to stuff my couch through that door. Anyways, keep in mind that I had to return the u-haul in an hour. So now it was time to scramble for a plan B. When I asked for a bigger unit, which a 10x10, was not available at this storage center. A 10x12 was unnecessary and too expensive. The lady had to call another Public Storage center to check availability on their 10x10. Which I drove in the u-haul an extra 10 mins (costing additional u-haul mileage fee!). Then when filling out my information to rent the 10x10, come to find out it is mandatory to get insurance, which of course I wish I didnt have to get. So basically instead of paying $68/month for 5x12 that should have accommodated my items, but because of a door that I did not see mentioned on their website. I am paying an additional $30 in rent plus $11 for insurance.
Ive had my camper here less than a month, and my batteries have already been stolen from it. Management couldnt care less, no cameras, no support. The entire lot is covered in diesel fuel, which left my camper smelling horrible, and Im glad it didnt blow up! I would never recommend this place unless you plan to have your stuff stolen.Just found out why there are no cameras. They want to sell you insurance! What a scam. The guys next to us had their diesel lines cut on their trucks, and that is why the place is covered. I guess management wasnt worried about a fire though, they dont have to pay for anything, just collect our money. Id recommend going somewhere with security and actual service.
Public storage has been wonderful to me. The girls that work there Brandi and Erin are so sweet and very professional. My furniture wont be there long but if i ever need storage again I will use this pubic storage on Mt Carmel Tobasco Rd. Thanks public Storage for making my move easier
Marylou is one of the most accommodating, professional and amazing people I will ever meet. We needed a storage unit for my Sisters belongings after a almost tragic fire. Marylou went out of her way to see that we got the right size, right price, etc.. and checks in every time she sees us to see how my Sister is doing. She made this one of the less stressful of all the duties we have had to go through and I appreciate her smiling face every time we see her. If I could, I would steal her away in a minute. This is what Customer Service is all about. We will use you many times to come in the future .. and I an honestly say... I never thought about storage as something I would ever need. Thank you Marylou.
Five years ago, I rented a 10X25 for $105 and a 10X10 for $88. As of this year, I paid $223 for the 10X25 and $140 for the 10X10. Every year they continued to raise rent for maintenance fees when I have yet to see any maintenance being done. Also, no notification in the mail that they were doing so. I recently looked on line to see what the rates were. For example, the 10X25 unit is going for $169, but yet I was paying way more than that. WHY? And I was just told by the nice ladies in the office that the rates are going up again this year. Welp, packed up my stuff and moved it down the road. I got even more storage space for a lesser price. Saving almost $200 a month! Public Storage charges $20 for a lock, my new place ~ $8 ! Brandi and the girls were always a pleasure to talk with and were always very helpful and worked with me when ever possible, but this company is gouging prices, they dont price compare and they DO NOT WORK WITH YOU. I hope this company drives itself into the ground. From the looks of it, they are. Eastside Storage is the place to be!
I store my boat here and it WAS the best value storage place around. 2 weeks after writing them a 5 star review, Public Storage raised my montly rent 20%. Ive only been in the space 5 months. Yeah, it was convenient. Easy in, out, secure. Only other thing Ive ever questioned in my time were other patrons. But I dont appreciate the service. Raising prices (like that), thats bad business. A dollar here or there is one thing, but nobody budgets for a 20% increase in rent.
Went here expecting a headache but I was surprised at how informative & helpful Jenny was. She was professional without being a complete robot & answered most of my questions before I asked them. As a manager myself, I wish I had an asset like this. I will make sure to refer anyone to this location & ask for her! Thanks!
My wife went out to get a unit and because I was a current customer she could not get the rate that was online no big deal. we canceled it that day and still 5 days later we have not got a refund. The property manager brandi said she put it in as a cancel but she seemed a little distracted because she was supposed to be picking her kid up and was on the phone saying she would be there soon. We called somebody above her they said its not in their records have called regional manager with no return phone call and still no refund. I have since I cancelled my storage unit went to a storage unit less than 3 miles away and save 77.00 a month
Very poor customer service. Tried to end lease however office charged me for the next month and said they have no way of refunding money even though I had moved out of unit prior to start of next months cycle. Had tried to cancel rent on a couple of occasions, however no one was ever in the office. Will not rent from this company again and very dissatisfied. Based on other reviews posted, it seems this is a ongoing issue with this management.
Had a 10x25 unit from Mar 2012-Dec 2013. Great location, the staff (Brandi, Laquesha & Mary Lou) were always wonderful & pleasant. They walk the grounds daily to be sure your unit is locked & if not they will lock it with their lock & notify you. This happened TWICE to me. So grateful!! No animal evidence was in my unit. No problems at all. Grounds are well kept & secure. Definitely top notch operation at this location. Thank you girls for keeping my stuff safe until I got my house.
We recently rented a unit from the Public Storage at 4070 Mt Carmel-Tobasco Road Cincinnati, OH. We had an extremely unsatisfying experience during our move-in. We had rented the unit using the online system and reserved it. We also rented a U-Haul van to help move our stuff into the unit. I packed the van and arrived at the storage facility only to find out that there was no attendant in the office. I called and left a message at the office. I waited for over an hour and no one arrived (it was not during the advertised lunch break). Not only did we have to wait to move our stuff in, but also had to extend the U-Haul rental by another day and pay for the extra mileage/gas for the trip to the storage unit. We called the District Manager Ric Vayo (D0121) while I was waiting and we still haven’t received a call back (it is has been 11 days). This is extremely unprofessional.Arriving the next day, there was an attendant, and she was helping us move in, but two surprises were presented that were not shown whatsoever when I completed the online reservation. The first being the requirement to have insurance. This is borderline unethical business practice, to present the cost of the unit online, as well as the admin fee, but withhold the fact the insurance is required until you get to the office and pay for the first month (extra $11/month). The second surprise was the requirement to have a circular lock for the unit (also not disclosed during the online reservation process). Since I didn’t have this lock type I had to buy the $20 lock from Public Storage…how convenient. Another note, two of the units we looked at had black mold growing in/on the drywall.
Simply excellent, customer service is top quality, with Brandi & Erin being so cooperative helping me finding a smaller space from my previous now large space, by updating me with availability and reservations. I would recommend this place in a heart beat, especially being safe and clean, thanks guys.
Horrible service. Anytime I call no one is there, they are always on lunch. Trust me, take you business elsewhere where someone actually deserves your money. This is pretty much an unmanned store. If you care about customer service. Avoid this place. They dont take your personal calls so you have to pay online or over automated voice so they can charge you for it. Heed my warning lol
Ive been pretty much a permanent renter for quite a few years now, I run my business out of here .. I dont agree with the comment BRIAN HAJAH left a couple reviews ago, Ive never had an issue with lock out, mold or missing items ( but I pay my bill on time) .. I havent met the new staff yet but it is an improvement from a few months ago they are onsite during business hours and are in the office during business hours, but if not they are at our before the Be back at this time sign says.. this is very important to me because I receive deliveries during regular business hours.. I know its not technically their responsibility to do this since I signed the waiver but it is extremely helpful that they honor their business hours.. since the new staff has been on the job I have not had one returned shipment :) KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK !!
Soooo. Every time I call this place no one answers or they are nasty. Been trying to reach them about a payment and no one gets back to us they charge way to much to pay over the automated service and when you call they dont answer. Plus they refuse to talk to me after my husband told Tawnya that they could and signed a paper stating they could.
I went to Public Storage Co to rent a storage unit. Cost was going to be $76 less 50% discount.After the paperwork was done total cost was $88.16. What gives? Oh, an extra $17.99 lock fee which wasnt disclosed earlier. A minimum of $9.00 manditory insurance per month. I asked her why this wasnt disclosed prior to my card being charged. She said this is the way the company wants it done! OMG, I did not agree to this but she refused to reverse the charges. Never Will I Ever Go There Again.Went right down the road and got a larger unit for less with no hidden fees.Thanks, Beechmont Storage.
Been here years raise the rates ...my code works sometimes.. No one in the office.. AND AUTO PAY LITERALLY GIVES THEM ACCESS TO YOUR MONEY..DAY AFTER MY PAYMENT WAS TAKEN ..THEY HIT ME FOR A 50 GOTCHA CHARGE...THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT ANSWER THE PHONE....GO DOWN THE STREET TO THE FIVE OTHER PLACES
WE HAVE HAD OUR STUFF THERE FOR ALMOST A YEAR. AT FIRST EVERYTHING WAS COOL BUT WHEN THE OWNERS SOLD IT TO SOMEONE ELSE IT HAS BEEN A LIVING HELL SINCE THEN. THE NEW OWNERS ADDED ALL THESE NEW RIDICULOUS FEES AND NOW ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP UP WITH THE PAYMENT! THEY CHARGE US FOR AN AUCTION FEE AND A LOCK FEE. WTF. AND THIS IS EVERY MONTH LATE OR NOT. THEY ARE COMPLETLY UNREASONABLE AND TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH.

2022-03-27It’s not often I take the time to give a review. However, I am at my wits end with this place! Very disorganized staff and after being LOCKED IN the facility last night for over an hour with my son, because my code failed to work is very upsetting, thankfully someone came through and opened the gate and we were able to get out! I called their number when we were locked-in hoping someone could open the gate to let us out with no luck. It should be illegal to lock somebody in a facility and I’m pretty sure it is. I then receive a phone call this morning regarding my complaint, only to be greeted by somebody who blamed me for the incident. This place is ridiculous and their service is horrible, and in my opinion dangerously operated. I do not recommend this place to anyone especially if you have children.

2022-02-09Brandy was a huge help, I got an 8X12 that seems a little small(8X10), I didn’t measure it; yet. Everything fit nicely. They could have spent some money clearing some of the ice and snow, it looked as if they did nothing.

2019-07-25And Then SomeI mean how much information is needed to rent a storage space? LOL. 😁 The process was quick, painless yet thorough. The crew there seem well trained and provides a level of service one might expect checking into a nice hotel ... and why shouldnt they? Providing good customer service should always be the goal for any company serving the public and this crew does just that.UPDATE: I recently edited my review based upon an issue I was having regarding my billing. I was a bit frustrated because it took longer than I would have liked to talk to somebody other than at the property level. Well albeit later than I wouldve liked, I did receive a call from a regional manager who was professional, understanding and between the two of us were able to figure out what happened and found a solution for which I again say thanks!

2021-08-22Lets start by saying BRANDY is so wonderful. We got there to park our camper and there was a car in our spot. We went to the office and Brandy was so kind to help us before her lunch was done. She was surprised there was a car there for she checked it at 10am and it was still empty, anyway she gave us another spot right away. She has a very bubbly personality. Thank you Brandy.

2021-11-12Well I writing a review for a family member that almost made the mistake of renting a unit for us. First they try and make you write a positive review on them after signing the paperwork (that is where she said never we no longer want the unit). But before this happened she informed us our lock wasn’t the right kind and told us we needed on if their $20 locks. Then I asked about security cameras to which she informed us that there wasn’t any and that’s when she told us we had to purchase their monthly insurance $11 a month on top of the rental fees. Also their are other fees they charge you for but don’t disclose to as to what they are for. At this point the worker became very rude with us. So we just left at that point
