We had a cracked window in our apartment unit, and Jim promptly came to replace it. The job was done efficiently and thoroughly, which was a huge relief knowing Prestige has us taken care of. Although the building is old and can have its faults, I’m always impressed by the helpfulness of the maintenance staff with any issues that arise.
I had zero problems with living there I until it was time to move out. I moved out early and did there lease buyout plan which includes forfeiting security deposit and is understandable. After moving out I received my move out statement of charges. I was taken aback with how much I still owed considering I spent hours cleaning before moving out. I had to call and leave multiple voicemail to receive no response or call back. After calling back to back 4 times did I finally get ahold of someone to ask if they could pictures of all the charges I received. I have for 2 months been trying to get ahold of someone to ask why I was being charged nearly 100 dollars for things you can barely see example a hair on the sink and small dust particles on toilet and oven. There were other charges, although unfair, I was willing to pay. I left even more message, around 5 before I received a second email of photos. To then which they were willing to respond and were if no help or understanding. It feels like a complete money grab and very poor customer service.
I just moved into my first apartment in August with prestige and have had nothing short of an amazing experience with them! The maintenance man, Jim, is very very nice and helpful. The property always looks nice and very safe too! Will definitely go through Prestige again!
Prestige is great! Lived here two years and have only had good experiences. Mike and Ola are the best- they always do a great job. Ola fixed our leaky sink today and went above and beyond to replace our cabinets foundation that had water damage. Thank you Ola!! We love you!!!
The maintenance has been amazing so far! They came in less than an hour for an emergency request late at night which was extremely helpful! Also, they are very quick and efficient when it comes to regular requests. Ferrel helped me and was very nice and accommodating while I work from home! Overall, great service!
Maintenance is stellar here at Prestige! Brandon came and fixed my shower drain at my earliest availability and was extremely efficient and helpful. He also identified one other issue, took pictures and notified the office. I appreciate that very much and have no doubt it will get fixed very soon. Thank you!
Put in a maintenance request yesterday afternoon, and Steve arrived first thing in the morning to fix it up. he was polite, worked quickly, and we had a lovely chat! he even offered to put in another request to fix the ceiling vent (which I didnt realize was a problem) you dont get this kind of service just about anywhere, so it is really special that Prestige has such a great maintenance team.
The maintenance worker Steve is very kind and helpful. He has come over twice and quickly fixed both issues! He always is happy to help and we appreciate it! Jim was also very helpful, coming over multiple times to fix our shower handle and Brandon really went the extra mile to fix our dishwasher when a simple job turned into a more complex one. Thanks guys!
So far my experience at Prestige has been great! We had a minor maintenance issue in our first month of living at one of their properties and within 10 hours of submitting a request, Jim reached out to come and check it out and got it fixed promptly. Would definitely recommend.
I’ve been living in my apartment for 2 years now and I have loved the Maitnance team at prestige. They are always quick to answer request! Just this week, I requested that my radiator was looked at because it was leaking and the next day Ola was out to fix it! He even brought in my package to the secure part of the building.
Upon moving into this apartment several issues were noted. After contacting maintenance via the portal, within 24 hours, someone came by. Brandon gave excellent service and went above and beyond. He came and went several times to make sure he could take care of as much as he could at the moment. He then said he would make sure the other issues were taken care of this following week. Brandon is awesome and the company is lucky to have him as an employee.
I live on the 4 floor my apartment complex and needed to put in a maintenance request because there was a wasp nest growing outside one of my windows. Steve came out removed the nest and then put in a maintenance request to have my windows cleaned for the next day. He was extremely helpful and made the process very easy!
Prestige has a great maintenance team and I’ve always had great experiences with them! I’ve had maintenance requests fulfilled by Ola and Jim and both solved the issue in a timely manner. Ola and Jim were both super friendly and helpful. Jim came to our house for a maintenance request to fix a leak and did a great job! Great service!
Brandon was an awesome maintenance person! He worked multiple hours getting our outlets recircuited so that none of the breakers blew like they did previous. He also provided multiple suggestions so that we keep the space up an running. Great worker who always provides care timely and clearly.
We decided to specifically rent with Prestige because of the good reviews. When we did our walk through (back in March) we had ben told our unit was going to be painted, newer appliances, and so on. Moved in nothing was painted and there were no new appliances, which was fine. In early/mid September I had an fairly urgent maintenance request and put it in, no show, put it in again and then was told our property has been sold so they won’t be coming. I paid Prestige September rent so I’m not too sure why they couldn’t fix my appliances in the month of September? Now it’s over 2 weeks later, not too sure who owns my property and my appliances are still not fixed. None of this would be an issue if there was better communication through the process.
Our apartment is already pretty great, but whenever there has been a problem maintenance have always taken care of it immediately. We love Jim! He’s always on it!UPDATE: 3/5/21 I can’t seem to write a second review but Jim came by to help with a leaky roof issue and he was great! Super fast and super nice as always!!!UPDATE: 5/14/21Still don’t know how to make more than 1 review, but once again Jim is always here as early as possible, fixing whatever we need and being the nicest guy! He’s the best!
I have been with Prestige the past 3 years, I have lived here at 2935 Marshall Ave. The first two were difficult in responses to maintenance and any other help needed. But I believe that in 2020-2021, they have improved on communication, safety, and responsibility with their tenants and employees. Today, January 7, I was going to make a maintenance request about a couple things. Steve knocks on my door for an inspection and asked if my living situation was good, and I didn’t even make the request yet! He was awesome, sweet, kind, approaching, and fixed everything that needed attention. Shout out to Bill as well back in the summer when I was having issues with my door. He stopped painting a newly leased apartment to help me. I’ve seen great improvement and it’s all thanks to new improved management. Good work so far.EDIT: 1/26/2021I’d like to make an additional comment to this review, as I ran into some difficulties with appliances last weekend. I made the request just short of when maintenance office closed (4:30ish). However, Brandon saw my request about my sink, and he told me “I couldn’t let you sit with that all weekend.” He came and within the hour, I had a new disposal. I’m sure he went out of his way from Cincinnati to get the supplies, and he was a very sweet conversationalist (even congratulating me on my new job!). As I said before, Prestige continues to make an effort to respond. Very pleased!
Big fan of the Maintenance workers at Prestige Property Management they are very hardworking and have always been pleasant when I pass by! One of the workers in particular named Mike has truly been awesome! Mike is very knowledgeable and has helped me numerous times with a smile on his face! Definitely a keeper! Just want to thank the maintenance workers for all you guys do definitely hasn’t gone unnoticed! Thanks Again!
Steve on the maintenance team is a life safer. Couldn’t thank him enough. I had a circuit go out around 10:00 pm and he was here to fix it by like 10:10 pm. Super quick. That circuit had my wifi router on it and I needed my wifi to finish something that same night. He came to my apartment and was super kind and let me know he had everything fixed.
The maintenance men Terrel and Mike with prestige are seriously the greatest. They literally did everything perfectly and always had a smile on their faces. They were incredibly nice throughout the whole process and very communicative. These two are the best of the best and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. (They deserve a raise) they get 5 stars from me any day.
Brandon is truly the greatest - fuse blew, electricity went out, and he absolutely saved the day. Came and helped IMMEDIATELY - literally went above and beyond to help out with everything! Not to mention he replaced the entire system in an afternoon. Also just the nicest guy. Loved talking to him and endlessly thankful for all of his hard work!
I rent at 2628 Cleinview ave. Do not move in this building, I will be moving out soon. The management is incredibly rude, they doing a really bad job ensuring tenants are happy. In the last year we have had no heat in middle of January for over 10 days! With little communication from them. Then after “fixing the issue” the broiler along with radiators in my unit at least kept this bad bad noice that wakes you up, sounds loud and is almost sounds as is will explote. It will wake you and not let you sleep for a good ten min, then again after a few minutes. I reached out again for like the 3rd time after this summer to ensure issue will be fix with time before cold season again and the management followed to let me know the issue “can’t be fixed unless tenant is out” and this was a note by the contractor that came multiple times to my unit to try fixing it MONTHS ago! The manager never care to let me know to help me or to ensure I will have heat and not noice this coming winter. So I ended my lease after finding out.
I rent through Prestige for the last three years and their maintenance team is phenomenal. Anything from a clogged kitchen sink to fixing our water heater is resolved quickly and every member of the maintenance team is respectful of your space and so helpful, specifically Jim. Thanks for the hot water back Jim!
Steve came by our house after we had a work order outstanding for a week or two. Was very polite and apologetic about them missing our work order. Even offered to salt our driveway, sidewalks, and help us move a couch. What a good guy and I’m glad prestige employs people with such character. Thank you Steve!
For the short time I’ve lived at a Prestige building, they have always been extremely quick with all of our maintenance requests. Our problems are always resolved within a few days of reaching out, and all of the staff are super kind and helpful. Brandon stopped by to fix an electrical problem a few days ago, he was in and out in 10 min. Thanks so much!
Overall, I have had a great experience with prestige property management. They are very attentive when it comes to maintenance and other issues. The apartment building is always clean, I feel safe and secure. For major issues like heat or water problems they will be at your unit first thing the next morning, even on a Sunday. Best experience I’ve had in Cincinnati area so far. They are very professional.
We have had multiple instances where water has leaked into our bedroom, onto our bed, the walls, etc. Needless to say, it isnt fun. I am happy I can rely on such a great maintenance team to help us, even after work hours when I am calling frantically. Mike has been all that for us. He continues to come and check in, making sure everything is good for us - texting me to let me know he is on his way, ensuring my comfort. We realize our building is old and some things are outdated - its not their fault - but we are so happy that there is a team who cares about our comfort. Thank you Mike, for everything you do!
Mike came out on a saturday night with no issue! He went through everything in the house with us to let us know how it will be fixed. Mike also came out today and fixed everything in the house and gave us a rundown on what he did. I am so thankful for the kindness and communication he has. Thank you Mike!!
I live on Madison in Oakley. The good is that the team has been communicative, polite, and the maintenance crew is very responsive. The bad is that in my 11 months here I’ve dealt with a puddle in my living room due to a leaky ceiling, lack of AC as the wall unit bit the dust in June (after a week they provided a portable unit), and now (and a month ago) I’ve had to put in maintenance requests due to multiple large cockroach sightings (today in the middle of the day in the kitchen). Again, they’ve taken all steps to act quickly, but the matter of fact is that a lot of the problems weren’t fixed quickly after maintenance response (aka roaches and ac fiasco) and it’s been a rough lease. It’s an old building so there’s not much they can do, but these are all things I wish I would’ve thought about a year ago.
I have had a couple of maintenance requests since moving into my apartment in August and the quality of service is wonderful! Jim & Stephen recently REPLACED our garage door opener after trying a few time to repair the old one. My wife and I were pumped! The new one works great, and now I can even pair it with my car! Woot! They were fun to talk to and kept me posted throughout the process. Thanks Jim & Stephen, keep up the good work!
Moving in and being a tenant during the fall and winter seasons were fine. However, come spring and summer, exterminators were constantly coming to spray for roaches. Often times the email notice about pest control coming would be sent out less than 24 hours before they came. Not only is this illegal, it was also super inconvenient since we were required to empty our entire kitchen and bathroom every time. I work and go to school full-time so having to do this every few weeks with minimal notice was aggravating. Also, when pest control does arrive, they pound on your door at 9am yelling HOME MAINTENANCE!A few days before moving out, painters came to repaint the hallways and exterior of the apartment doors. Prestige did not send out an email (yes, I verified this with Prestiges maintenance worker) notification otherwise I would have planned ahead. However, I had to get ready for work and keep my cat locked in the bathroom while they painted my door. Also, Prestiges maintenance employee was unlocking and leaving open other tenants doors for the painters even though the tenants were not home and had no idea this was happening!!!!! Painters did not wear masks, were coughing, talked very loud, and played loud music at 7:30 am (unreasonable work hours).618 Probasco Street.
I live at the 2935 Marshall Avenue property and I love it! The maintenance crew — particularly Steven — is always quick and responsive to any maintenance requests, as well as pleasant to speak to. I am also super appreciative of the fact that the management is very understanding and helpful. To top it off, the apartment itself is newly renovated.
The apartment and location is great. Its clean and well maintained. The maintenance staff are very responsive and field all my concerns quickly. Ola, Brandon, Steve and others who I cant remember have all been super helpful and friendly. Ive definitely had friends over who love my place and wish they had something as clean, affordable, and centrally located. I lucked out.
Slumlords Prestige Property Management Cincinnati bought our apartment complex in Indianapolis The Reserves at Warren Park to flip it for money within weeks of purchase. They are the worst slumlords ever. They did shotty landscaping and put up a sign which blocks drivers view trying to pull out of the property. Someone is going to get killed and I hope they sue Prestige. Board of Health even told them to remove the sign but they refused. Board of Health was here with all kinds of violations for property and signs. Prestige aka Knights Watch did not fix any tenant repairs. They never answered their phone or responded to maintenance request sent through appfolio. We got mold all over the place, mold that was painted over, mice all over the place, plumbing issues, electrical issues, people getting shocked, A/C not installed legally, furnaces not legally installed, showers not working property, broken pipe in main sewage line where feces are going INTO THE GROUND, broken windows because Deanna had plexiglass installed instead of glass, drug sales in parking lot and in vacant apartments where they left the doors open, doors kicked in. Prestige fixed nothing but took our rent. After reading review online we see they use different property names for each property and have a reputation of being slumlord, bias, refuse to return security deposits even when the judge has ordered in favor of the tenant. You can read all the tenant reviews about these slumlords on The Reserves at Warren Park. We were given promises about things being done by Deanna which never happened. What an unprofessional witch she is. All us tenants will continue to post reviews about these slumlords. Our rent should be REFUNDED to us in full These pathetic people have ruined our apartments I make sure the IRS knows their scam game
I’ve lived at the Senator Place apartments for nearly 3 years now. Aside from the great location, I’m really a big fan of the maintenance team. They are speedy and efficient- which is especially nice in this time of coronavirus! So much better than the other property management groups I’ve had to work with here in Cincinnati. Shout out to Ola!
Great staff that tend to all resident needs in a timely and efficient manner. The leasing agents are very pleasant as well as the maintenance crew. Member are on site almost everyday and won’t hesitate to make quick fixes when asked. Jim was a great help with many things and wonderfully friendly.
I recently placed a maintenance call on Thursday, 6/14, for a torn washer in my bathtub that was causing a continuous water leak. A plumber from Prestige responded within a couple of hours, and said that he could make the repair, but that he couldnt shut the buildings water supply off until the next morning, as the building needed prior notification. He said that he would return around 9:00 the next morning to make the repair. As promised, my tech returned a little after 9:00 on 6/15, and completed the repair within about twenty minutes. He was polite, friendly and knowledgeable, and had no problems with his quick repair. Well done!
I currently live in a house managed by prestige, and they are by far the most unprofessional and disrespectful ‘ business’ I have ever dealt with. Starting with our move in, in August 2018, our washer and dryer wasn’t working. After submitting a request online for maintenance, a MONTH later is when the washer and dryer are fixed. There was also a leak in our living room ceiling when the shower runs upstairs. I submitted a request. When maintenance arrives, they turn on the shower, and in short, act as if we’re delusional because it’s not leaking this time. They replace the shower head, leave, and never fix the cracked and falling apart ceiling—I’m sure I won’t see my security deposit. I have had to get both my parents, and my roommates on the phone for them to finally comply with correspondence. They are awful with responding to requests, answering phone calls/emails.Now, I am moving out of the apartment, with someone to replace my name on the lease—lease term hasn’t even started. However, after months of emailing, calling, online requests, I have yet to get someone to contact me about transferring my lease with only a few weeks until I move out.Long story short: Don’t rent from this place.
This rental company is 1000% the worst rental company in Cincinnati. Right when we moved in the apartment was already trashed. Then no more than 2 days after we moved in my 3 roommates and me found bugs, gross. We called to tell them and they tried to blame it on us, even though we were there for only a few days, and all our furniture was brand new. When we finally got through to have a normal conversation with them they only sent one of their own guys to spray some stuff and said it was complete. We kept saying that the problem was not fixed and finally in March (A WHOLE 7 MONTHS LATER) an actual exterminator came. The problems run on and on and on without them fixing them and sometimes did not even get a response from them. Our AC worked but not really, when it was turned on 1. it ran the electric bill through the roof 2. our inside temps did not go below 70 degrees 3. it actually did not work at all on our second floor. When we asked them to look they just said it was the filter and completed the work order. We had mold growing on the walls and ceiling of our bathroom due to there being no fan or vent in the bathroom, all they did was paint over it without even removing the mold. The last problem I will talk about is that they were supposed to do a safety check before we moved in and then halfway through the lease, and the whole time we had 0 smoke detectors that worked and maybe 20% of our outlets in the whole house worked, and they never said anything about it. Those are only a few of many of the problems we had. They also say that tenets are responsible for the water bill, so we went ahead and paid the water bill, which ended up being super high because of poor sewage. After 8 months of paying the bill and the company $100 for water, we find out from WaterWorks that the company has been paying the bill the whole time (no money given back to us).I would not recommend this companys housing to my worst enemy, so please save your sanity and your money and DO NOT rent from them.
The custodial and maintenance staff is always polite and respectful to me; they get the job done and then some every time I see them around. They are always wearing a mask (the correct way) the entire time they are in our building which was much appreciated and actually surprising — I see many custodian and maintenance people not wearing their masks.
The maintenance and leasing staff really save the day. They’re very responsive, flexible, and able to solve problems quickly! The building is older, so radiator heat and window unit AC is something to get used to, but there are cool features and updating throughout. Also have a chandelier in our dining room, so it makes for entertaining convos.
Prestige took over for my building a couple of years ago. To date, Ive had really positive experiences with them. Maintenance requests have always been fulfilled within a reasonable timeline. Staff and the maintenance workers have always been courteous and helpful. In emergency situations such as problems with the A/C in the summer or furnace in the winter they have made a point to prioritize that type of problem and work off normal hours to resolve the problem and keep me updated. Lastly, theyve been non-intrusive and respectful of my privacy as a resident.Overall, its been a refreshingly positive experience and Im happy they took over management of our building.
I lived in the same apartment for 3/4 years of college under Prestige. The thing I’ll miss the most is one of the maintenace guys, Jim! He always went above and beyond to help me and my not-so-handy roommate fix anything and everything, and did so quickly. I saw him almost every morning since he arrived for work when I was leaving, and he greeted me with a smile and always made my mornings a little brighter. His positivity made my experience so much better! Thanks Jim!
Prestige Properties took care of us well and I was sad to have to move out of the Digby Avenue location due to changing roommates. Our wonderful maintenance guy, Jim, was always so kind and helpful with anything we needed. The apartments themselves have a lot of character and are very cozy. This is a great place to live - highly recommend!
The first thing to know about this company is that the owners have written five reviews of their own company (look for the reviews by people named Painter). Two other five star reviews seem to have this place confused with a real estate agent. They used to be Rent Clifton, and had poor reviews. My experience was terrible. Trash would frequently pile up outside the units, even after maintenance requests were ordered. in January 2017, we spent several weeks with the heat broken ,which meant our apartment rarely got warmer than 55 degrees (I measured). Wed been telling Karie this was an issue since fall, but they seemed to think we were just making it up.They seemed generally resistant to doing work on the property. Once when I reported the bathroom ceiling was leaking, the guy on the other hend of the phone kept saying he didnt think it was an emergency, right up to the moment the ceiling collapsed. There were a lot of other issues too. I would NOT rent from this company. The photos in their ads look great but the service is really bad.UPDATE: I see that Karie has responded by saying that both maintenance request were closed quickly. This is true, but they didnt do anything--just told me that the heat was fine, even though it clearly was not.
Extremely disappointed in their maintenance service (or lack there of). I have contacted Prestige Property Management more than 5 times about very serious issues (i.e. my front door wont lock, our washer/dryer needs fixed, holes throughout the house need patched etc.) and filed numerous maintenance requests, and have been told maintenance will be at my house within 24-48 hours to take care of it, and even with reminder calls, nobody has shown up to take care of it! I have lived here for two months and have tried getting this taken care of since I first moved in. I feel as if Prestige Property Management not only is unreliable and unprofessional, but they completely do not care about the safety of their residents! *I am not one to write negative reviews, never have I written a negative review. I am genuinely disappointed and frustrated, and not sure how to get done what I was told would be taken care of.
I am a third year college student who recently endured the struggle of finding off-campus housing. I began my search mid-November (which is considered procrastinating) and there was hardly anything left. My group and I were becoming increasingly frustrated after walking through house after house and not being able to close on a lease. We finally found relief after discovering this company. A lovely leasing agent named Morgan gave us a very educational and interesting tour of two different houses. One of which, was stunning. We told Morgan immediately after the tour that this is the house we want to sign for. She explained to us step by step on what we had to do if we wanted to live in this house next year. We followed her advice and the very next day we were securing the house with a deposit! Finally!! As I mentioned before, I am a third year student so this would be my fourth time searching for a house. This was the first time the process was done 100% online, which made it extremely convenient with our busy schedules. I would recommend Prestige Property Management to anyone searching for a property in Clifton.
*BE WEARY* Many reviews are paid for for this company. (This is an add on to another review)(JUNE 2020 REVIEW)I currently am still renting from Prestige as my lease isnt up until the end of July of 2020. Prestige has caused myself and many others many headaches over the years. I actually reside in 2935 Marshall ave. and will list to you some of the issues Ive personally faced and others have faced as well.Negatives1.) Infestation: The building has had a cockroach infestation problem for a number of years. The company would consistently claim they were water bugs until many residents here got together and each called the health department in around November I believe and they finally decided to get pest control in. Now pest control comes every month to spray, however some residents are able to deny entry, which in my opinion wont solve the problem if those residents still have insects in their apartment. I personally havent seen any since December, however I am on the third floor and 2 residents on the second floor have told me they have seen a few just this month.2.) Cost: Prestige advertises their studio apartments as $745 with utilities included and free wifi (which is hit or miss.) What they fail to mention is utilities are NOT included as you have to pay a $125 utility fee which does NOT include electric. And using your AC during the year your electric bill will range from $35 - $125 (some of the AC units are very old and use more electricity than others.) They also charge insurance fees to protect them, which is not renters insurance and wont protect you as a resident. I pay a little under $900 a month just for all of this, and with my electric bill and wifi it ranges from $1000 - $1050 I spend.3.) Contacting Prestige: Contacting Prestige has never been easy for any residents in this building. Since moving in, Ive had a variety of maintenance issues and so has many other residents, and getting maintenance requests completed can take either 2 days, to 2 months. And contacting Prestige to get these done at a quicker time is nearly impossible as they rarely answer or return phone calls after you sign your lease and move in. The current property manager also rarely responds to emails from residents. (The previous one didnt as well.) There is a group chat for residents and many have expressed concern about this as they have been wanting to discuss their leases and havent gotten a response in months. The manager has openly admitted to seeing the emails but not responding to them.4.) Entering Without Notice: Myself and many other residents here have had maintenance enter our apartments without any notice what so ever on multiple occasions (which is illegal.)5.) Cameras: The building as you may have seen during a walk-through has cameras in the hallways and in the backdoor/parking lot. These cameras only work if the wifi is working from my understanding and dont actively record unless there is movement. The wifi as mentioned above is hit or miss, causing the cameras not to work at times. Ive spoken to other residents who have had their apartments broken into and their cars as well in the parking lot, and have contacted Prestige and the Police to report the incidents and were unable to get the camera footage as prestige mentioned to the Police that the camera dont actively record and they are only live (when the wifi works.) Meaning that they are basically just for show, and if someone is not watching them live (which no one does) then they dont really matter, and from the breaking-ins, they dont faze many criminals. The cameras would also come in handy when packages get stolen as you can see who did it, however since they dont actively record, its impossible to know.(There is much more however reviews are character limited.)
Ive lived in many different apartments and this one is definitely great for students and young adults because the buildings are nice and the maintenance team is awesome (especially Stephen). However, communication between residents and management can be lacking sometimes. It is difficult to reach the main office and the office hours are a bit weird if you work a normal 8-5 job.
Terrible company. Changed their name from Rent Clifton to escape a dismal reputation and didn’t bother to change their service. Rent is hundreds of dollars above market value. The building is neglected—much needed painting ignored, screen doors are ripped and in need of repair, common areas aren’t cleaned, snow and ice are never cleared in bad weather, and even the weeds are growing over apartment windows. When management screws up, they refuse to apologize and blame the tenant. Repair people are highly incompetent and disrespectful of tenants’ property. Astronomical and unreasonable rent increases every few months. Rent is hundreds of dollars above market value. Even my employer is advising transfers to avoid this company. They know moving is stressful enough. Having to fight for decent living conditions is unneeded stress that would detract from employees’ work. The positive reviews are from employees, owners, and friends of the owners. Prestige embodies the saying “Misery loves company.”
I really hope my opinion of this company will change as I havent even moved into one of their properties. My roommates and I have been trying to get important questions answered prior to move in. We have called and left voicemails several times (all during business hours) and weve also sent several emails. I dont understand how a company can be this unprofessional and unresponsive when it comes to people that will be paying rent every month. It almost feels like theyre taking advantage of the fact that most of their rental properties are rented to college students. Its absolutely unacceptable.
Prestige Property Management & Rentals, LLC helped us find a condo in the foothills. We had a good idea what we wanted, and after a they took us around for a day we knew we had the right condo picked. Throughout the closing process, which got pretty complicated because of appraisal-relayed issues, they were there to support us all the way. We eventually closed for a better price than expected and still know we made the right choice, both for the condo and the agent.
We are currently in the middle of a pandemic where thousands of people have lost their jobs. I have tried calling and can get ahold of nobody. I have tried emailing them discussing my intent to pay, however my income has gotten cut in half. They dont care. They will not respond to your emails and will serve you a 3 day notice to vacate without trying to talk to you. They will make you sit in their entryway on the floor for an hour before they will talk to you. They are greedy, and inhumane and unethical.
Pretty sure it is NOT legal to evict someone during a pandemic unless the tenant commits a crime. The rental company should of worked with you. To those who disclosed that they were evicted during the pandemic, contact an attorney or legal aid or if worse comes to worst, contact the local news. Side note- it is quite obvious to that the positive reviews for this company are fake and paid for.
The worse company I had to deal with. I study at UC and I’m outside in the campus 24/7 I barely have time and when I do I come back and sleep. Prestige had showings in our apartment everyday sometimes even twice a day. Mostly during the weekdays when I’m the busiest i’ve Always texted them saying that I would like to schedule a different day for thier showings so that I can view the apartment in a better picture even when I didn’t had have the time to do so, but they’d still insist and say it’s okay. I litteraly feel like someone had trespassed my privacy. During my staying at the apartment my roommate and I had caught 13 mice not to mention the ones that we still see and the ones that got away. The bathroom sink always floods so does the toilet. The doors of the cabinet always fall and when we call the maintenance they just hang them back again. Now that my lease is ending and I’m moving to different apartment they had left me with a bad profile that states “poor housekeeping” that would reject my applications to other leasing companies. They were the ones who came in at my busy days in the university and left me no choice.
Extremely disappointing - I moved into a single apartment unit about 8 months ago and was very excited. Cute, partially remodeled 1-bedroom apartment in the perfect location in Oakley. Unfortunately though, I experienced a recurring issue with roaches in this lower-level unit. After various conversations with the landlord, multiple work orders, and countless emails with property management, the roaches were never exterminated. After 4 months, I moved into a more affordable house with two roommates and found a subleaser to take over the remainder of my lease at the single unit. Over the past 3 months, my subleaser has experienced only worse conditions than I had - growing roach issue (both dead and live roaches), heating issues, and noise complaints. All in which property management has yet to help resolve or professionally react. No action is taken with an ounce of empathy, responsiveness is poor, there is little to no urgency, and most of all, there is an extreme lack of professionalism. I have no compliments or good things to say about the newly found, Prestige Property Management & Rentals, LLC (formerly, Rent Clifton). It was a nightmare living in one of their many buildings for only 4 short months and is a nightmare for my subleaser now. Nothing is seamlessly handled other than the monthly transaction of money that takes place through the online portal. Their self-proclaimed company brand of promising good customer service in a timely manner and quality apartments that are perfect for all walks of life, is simply embarrassing considering the fact that this promise has never been fulfilled... ever. Quality apartments... please. What kind of rental company would allow an infestation of cockroaches last as long as a month, let alone 7!?! A professional exterminator has still yet to be called.I highly discourage trusting Prestige Property Management & Rentals, LLC when finding a comfortable place to live.
I had a terrible experience with the leasing process from Prestige Property Management, previously named Rent Clifton...***Google Rent Clifton-- this is the previous name of their company they changed to cover up their bad reputation***This company is tremendously unethical in how they treat their tenants, terrible upkeep of maintenance issues, and extremely disrespectful. I would not lease from them even if rent was FREE...Secondly, as I was researching their company they have made a desperate attempt to cover up their poor reputation by making fake reviews on Google. The owners have even made 5 reviews of their own company, and some of the recent reviews are fake aliass. Please do yourself a favor and take pride in who you lease from and avoid!
As I am free to express my opinions of my renting experience, I hope that those who are electing to rent from this company take the time to read this review.Within the first two to three weeks of residing in our one bedroom apartment, we experienced severe flooding (from heavy rain) in the bathroom which resulted in an influx of mold beginning to grow. This issue was sat on by the company when multiple maintenance requests were put in about the mold--taking about two weeks to fix the issue. I am putting the word fix in parenthesis to indicate that the issue was never really fully resolved since some parts of the walls were still stained with mold and contained a musty smell that traveled throughout the apartment. This musty smell continued to reside even when odor products were used to diffuse the smell. Then came the rigid one to two week weather we had in the winter. It just so happened to work out that our heat broke when the inclement weather approached. There were days where it was below 1 degrees Fahrenheit and we had to use the restroom with our coats on to be somewhat comfortable. Maintenance requests were put in--took a while per usual to get fixed, and then we were brought space heaters to resolve the solution the day before the heat was working again. Even though space heaters were delivered, the apartment could not withstand the use of one or more heaters to be plugged in.One of the main issues that added to these freezing temperatures, or opposite, the AC that was needed in the summer (which only cooled off one room), was that none of the doors or windows of this place was properly sealed. You could see a gap between the doors/windows and the wall. I am pretty sure we also placed a maintenance request in for this because no of the windows would ever lock either. The predicament of the windows not being properly sealed, transitions me into my next criticism. When showings of the apartment came around, we also experienced issues with working these showings around our schedule. There was one showing where we were not given the 24 hours notice and my significant other just got out of the shower and was in his bathrobe when the maintenance guy (or whoever was displaying the apartment) came into the apartment through the window! This was not professional and quite scared the living hell out of my significant other. These are my personal experiences when living under the roof of Prestige Property Management. Again, I will conclude with the fact I am entitled to express my own criticism and experiences. Pictures are attached to this review.Edit after reply: I wasnt able to see all of my maintenance requests from the whole year spent there. It seems that the most important ones (mold and heating) were removed so I can not confirm the completed dates being discussed. The issue is that even when it says completed that doesnt mean that someone was sent out to fix it!
Boiler constantly breaking, it’s always freezing, and there are so many cracks/holes that let in cold air. The rent is over priced for what you’re actually getting. The windows themselves, whether open or not let in cold drags all the time. Don’t rent from here: they used to be Rent Clifton but just changed their named.

2022-04-07I submitted a maintenance request on Monday night and it was resolved by Tuesday morning. Mike did a great job and I didn’t have to miss work waiting for the repair to be taken care of. It was a huge relief to come home with the issue fixed and I’m thankful I did not have to follow up. I also had an issue with heating a few weeks ago and Kevin arrived within hours after I submitted a maintenance request and provided another heater while the issue was being fixed. Highly recommend !

2022-03-25Mike from maintenance is incredible. The roof leaked in my apartment and he took care of coordinating the roofer and repairing the wall in my bedroom that had water damage. He was professional, efficient, courteous and did an excellent job with the repair. Best maintenance staff I’ve experienced in an apartment! Thank you, Mike

2022-06-09Prestige is average at best. The office staff people are somewhat friendly and the maintenance staff is extremely nice and warm, but otherwise, just another big business looking to make as much money as possible and profit off of a basic human right: housing. First, they charge you for cleaning when you move out, which should be their responsibility anyways. Second, they promised they would raise rent on some other tenants in our building as long as they lived there, but up-charged them hundreds of more dollars/month to live there a few more months past their lease. Lastly, response time for maintenance is less than satisfactory. We had a radiator that didn’t work, and instead of fixing it, they kept giving us heaters and offered no rent discount for our escalated gas/electric prices. No rental company is perfect, but as an ex-Tenant , this is the only way I have to hold them accountable. Loyalty and good tenant behavior mean nothing to them.

2022-04-15Prestige has great maintenance staff! I had an issue with the sink for which I had put in maintenance request and within few hours Mike came and fixed the issue. He was more than happy to help with minor cupboard fixes as well which weren’t part of my maintenance request.

2022-06-15The maintenance team is the best part about prestige. Steve and Jim are extremely nice and professional people and always come in an extremely timely manner. They always offer to come back too if there’s an issue.

2022-03-24I recently moved into an apartment owned by Prestige. It has been a great experience so far and maintenance is always very quick to respond. I recently had Ola stop by to do some maintenance and he’s great at his job and very respectful.
