Great place, friendly staff, best part is it isnt a social club. People go there to put the work in for the results they are looking for and theyre surrounded by like minded people willing to help. If youre looking for an old school gym to get the job done at GO HERE. 5 outta 5
This place is probably the coolest gym Ive ever visited. I was visiting from out of town and was trying to find the best gym in town, and this was easily it. They allow first time guests a free visit; youll just need to fill out a liability waiver. The gym itself has several areas where you can workout. They have a wrestling area, cardio area, racquetball courts, and of course the Powerstation side of the gym. The Powerstation portion of the gym is a whole separate section filled with just about everything you could imagine using for strength training. Theres plenty of free weights, pulley stations, benches, barbells, kettlebells, plates, and specialty equipment even for peak use times. You would have to be a gym rat who came here every day for a year in order to truly try everything they have to offer. There are also complementary chalk bowls to help your grip for heavy bar lifting. Theres even a quasi-astroturf patch about 30 yards long for pulling a sled or even sprinting. The Powerstation side of the gym has a really old-school feel to it and appears to have trained several body-building competitors over the years. The owner has a couple of pit bulls that roam around the Powerstation side of them gym, but theyre very well-behaved and are a pretty novel addition, especially if youre a dog lover. Next time Im in town, Im definitely going to come for another visit or two!
This place is any weightlifter/powerlifter/meat head/any one who loves to train kind of gym! Highly recommended! I came in for the week on business and did not want to leave! Check this place out.
When I’m in Ohio there is no other gym I will train at! As a gym owner from Staten Island NY finding a gym that makes you feel like your training in your own gym is priceless! Quality equipment, great staff, friendly members I could gone on writing but I believe you got the idea! I will not train anywhere else!!!

Best gym this side of the Mississippi. You wont find anywhere else with as large of a selection of equipment and maintain an oldschool barbell gym type attitude.

Love this gym its all I wanted , family owned small local gym everyone knows each other great hours and memeber ship . The owner is a great guy he makes sure his place is always running perfectly .

My daughter trained here as a result of a shoulder injury from HS Volleyball. After working with Mike she was able to prepare her shoulder for college ball, increase her vertical by 3 inches and went on to become a 2 year All American,play in 3 National Championships and now coaches college Vball. Mike taught her not only how to be in shape physically but how to be in shape to prevent accidents, how to train correctly, and what it means to have someone encourage you to reach for your goals!After watching my daughter improve I decided to get in shape and with Trainer Amy Sibcy I learned how to work out, how to eat healthy and I lost 50lbs! Amy understood my fears and how intimidating a gym can be. Extreme Fitness is a place for the whole family, for all ages, for encouragement, support, and expertise in reaching your health goals!

This place has been part of my life since Trenton, Ohio. Mike is good to me and allows let me train. Never forget the time he gave my wife and I free front row tickets to the Ohio bodybuilding show. This gym still rocks. Nice to drop in and get a workout once in a while. BEST GYM EVER.
Probably one of the only hardcore old school vibe type gyms in the Cincinnati area (that Im aware of at least). This place puts LA fitness and Lifetime to shame. Im no member but the membership prices dont seem unreasonable at all, Id join if I lived closer. I go strictly for lifting weights but the boxing/MMA area, cardio room and other areas of the gym are just as awesome. Staff is friendly as well. Theres so much variety in terms of weights, machines, benches, bars, attachments etc. Upon your first visit, you can actually get a little overwhelmed planning out your workout since there is so much to try. I can guarantee you wont get bored. I cant recommend The Powerstation enough! On a side note, Im not sure if the owners/managers ever actually read these but please, consider opening another Powestation out in the Kings Island area in the near future. That whole area is hurting for a hardcore gym. I can only pray until then.

Best gym ever, Really good cardio equipment, they have a selection of different things you can do such as batting cages, Brazilian Jiu jitsu classes, youth wrestling classes, all of the workout equipment you could possibly want. the powerstation guy in that part of the gym is very nice. they have a different variety of proteins bars you can get, Gatorade and other beverages. overall this place is the best gym Ive been too.
Ive been a member of about 10 gyms, Id guess, and this is my favorite, by far. Its a little of everything Ive ever learned, piled into a giant place.
If you are looking for an LA Fitness or any other cookie-cutter type club, dont bother. This isnt a gym for you. Mike is 100% about fitness and coddling comes far, far down the list. Hes the greatest man Ive ever met, and also the greatest at administrating tough love!

If you can’t find the tools you need in this gym, then you don’t belong anywhere near a barbell.

2022-04-13Best gym around. Tons of equipment. More leg machines than you can imagine. All kinds of unique bars, machines, and handles that you can’t find at other places.All weights are put back on racks. You’ll never see weights laying around. The owner walks around and meticulously checks each rack. And he’s not afraid to tell you if you’re lacking in gym etiquette. On your phone too long? He’s going to call you out. Didn’t put your weights up? You’re done, son.Best part? Everyone here is here to train. You don’t see people going soft. The few high school kids that show up show up to lift. Not chat. You won’t see crowds of kids here like the other places. A few here and there but they’re focused.All in all, if you’re looking for a place where the big boys play and the women are stronger than 90% of the men at other places and far more dedicated, then this is it. That doesn’t mean people are rude or judgmental here, they’re not. Great people work out here. Friendly and willing to give advice at any time. But just know that this place will make you push yourself.

An amazing gym that has every piece of equipment you could ever imagine, wonderful, caring staff, and a clean environment. 2022-04-08I once enjoyed this gym but realized it is chalk full of individuals who view those with injuries or those who dont always frequent the gym, as lesser or give unwelcoming vibes. The building owners dont seem to keep up with the upkeep of the interior, ceiling tiles, damaged walls etc. Seems like they just dont care.Either way, not a bad place to lift/exercise but also not the only option.

2020-09-16I’ve been to a lot of gyms and no gym comes close to quality of Powerstation. This gym has anything and everything you could possibly need and the atmosphere is always conducive for great workout. The staff and members are so friendly and I have learned so much since joining a year ago. This gym also has unbeatable prices and awesome apparel.I highly recommend joining this gym!

2021-03-02This is a GYM, not a fitness center... If you dont understand let me explain. This is where you go to train to destroy your competition, this is 200lb dumbbells and 100lb plates, this is 4 walls of photos of men and women who sacrificed it all staring at you judging if you have what it takes to train in Valhalla. By far one of the best gyms in the state of Ohio.
