I was picking up an Uber order at the S. High St. location in Great Southern. It was on New Years Day. 6:30p.m. There was a caucasian female that came to the drive thru window and said, We are closed. and walked away.There was another female working. I he look d up my phone stating I was picking up an order. Neither one of them asked for information or tried to make it right. I parked and called Uber support. While I was on the phone, I noticed an African American male come out, lock the door, and proceed to get in a small black car to leave. He didnt even look into the situation. I have a problem with this for two reasons. One: Nobody acknowledged the situation with the Uber order. There is a customer who chose to order Popeyes Chicken that will not get their food. From staff that simply dont care. Two: The restaraunt was closed outside the closing hours posted. There was no type of notice. There were no signs or anything stating them closing early. Because of this experience, I will NEVER go to this location.They obviously dont care about providing good customer service. I feel a rating of one is not deserving. I would rate this location ZERO stars.
I do not mean to be a Karen whatsoever, the service was bad. It was, and I am not exaggerating that by any means, we ordered the chicken and we forgot to add apple pies, so we ordered them at the last moment. We should have came home while it was hot, but we was told to pull up and had to wait 15 minutes when The Manager, said it would be an 8 minute wait. After we got the pies, we got home and tried to eat into the chicken and was met with a, uh, not to fresh taste. Possibly could have been made the following morning. Understandably fast food restaurants this year are going down hill, people are quitting, leaving, and the area does not help either. I genuinely do not wish to put stress on anyone, this restaurant business could do better - and customer service should have been not top notch or the best in the world, but it should have at least been dealt with the first time by getting the pies when he said we would have got them, leading to this entire thing.That is all I have to say, this feels so ridiculous and I feel like this all will go down hill further and nothing we can do about it. And I liked Popeyes before, but this time, not so much.Wish the experience could have been better, that is all.
THE MOST HORRIBLE POPEYES I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! I would give a negative star if i could. They only had small drinks. They did not have any cocktail sauce, said they could not find any. I ordered a 4 piece combo, they gave me 4 chicken breasts. Chicken is burned and dry!
Went thru the dive tru all I wanted was some of there shrimp. Got home and open my box so disappointed they was dried up chewy nasty the biscuits was hard just nasty I dont think they care about the freshness of there food . And I couldnt eat the cake because its frozen so I guess I will tell u how the went another time 🤨
They are literally always out of everything. I came through today and they didn’t have 6 different soft drinks.... 6.... then I get home and these fools put my sides in a drink cup. Probably the worst location I’ve been too, really blending into the south high culture.
Walked into the store around 12:15 pm today and was told if I didnt have a delivery it was mobile orders or drive thru only. I just moved to Columbus and dont have a car. I am appalled at the lack of consideration for paying customers. Not everyone has a car and if the lobby is open customers shouldnt ha e to use their phone to order. Very disappointed.
Used mobile ordering....fast and convenient right?....WRONG!!! I was told to wait in line...ok. However the line was very very long....remember I did use mobile ordering. Logically, what should have happened was that I should have been told to park in a designated parking spot and my food would have been brought out shortly. 👍Instead I had to wait in that very long line and when I get to the window they tried to give me the wrong order. I proceeded to inform them about my order.....which I noticed was 1 of 2 already sitting on the counter (prepared & bagged). No apology for the long wait. No complementary soda either. To top it off the food wasnt even piping hot like it had just came out of the fryer. (Which if that was the case I would have understood.) I am totally disappointed in their service. 😠
The guys rushed me out of the line and forgot utensils and straw for my drink. Im guessing he was the boss because he was even rushing his workers and keep in mind I was the only one in the line there is no need to rush because rushing made my food horribly was not good at all.
Love Popeyes like crazy but my experience new to Columbus I asked for Cajun rice they don’t sell it so then I asked for cole slaw they didn’t have any made. So then I said ok give me Mac and cheese they added that to my order which my order was $19.99 10piece chicken meal they add all that I get to the drive thru window to pay they give me my total give them the money. Then lady tells me to move up waiting on my chicken. I waited 20 mins then somebody comes out the building that works there I told them I was waiting on my order he said can I see your receipt I showed it to him he said we don’t have none of this stuff so I got my refund I will NOT GO HERE EVER AGAIN VERY DISAPPOINTED
This location seems to always have a long line of cars at the drive thru even when the KFC right next door is dead. I really am not sure why either. The food is good. The people who work there are ok, could be nicer. Maybe I am missing something as to why they are so busy, but I dont get it.
This Popeyes is so bad. It is ghetto. They did not give us any straws. They forgot our fries. They did not tell us if they only had cherry cola and not regular Coke. How to find out by drinking it after getting home and not being able to tell them. If they are out of Coke they should tell you at the window or the speaker.
Worst experienced ever at a popeyes🤬. We waited 35 minutes in the drive thru. We finally got our food and parked and half our food was wrong. We were not going to wait another 35 minutes to get it fixed. I was really excited to try the chicken sandwich but unfortunately it was horrible. Soggy and cold🤢.
I had only ate at Popeyes Chicken one other time and my memory was not a fond one. But this time was completely different, I will definitely be going back. Service was outstanding, and believe me for this area ; I was surprised. Some of the other takeout places has less than desirable workers, but this location has it going on. Also I fell in love with the beans and rice.
Never ever thought a chicken sandwich could be addictive, but damn sure is. Only half ding is theyre mighty proud of it price wiseOne year later and this place went to hell in a basket. Rude employees. Got no receipt and was told to pull off to side. Another employee comes out asks for my number. Said got no number. He says receipt then. No receipt. Long story short food comes out no apple pie. Guy looks in bag and nods. Walks off. Ten minutes later I leave without pie. Get home only to find half my order missing. No more chances. This is 3 times in a row.
This Popeyes is the worst! I keep saying this will be my last visit here, but I keep hoping their service has improved. It’s the only location near me and my husband loves their spicy chicken. Waited in the drive-through nearly 30 minutes, watched other cars pull out. They wouldn’t accept my entertainment book coupon when it clearly states all central Ohio locations. I keep saying this, but this IS my last visit. KFC here I come!
The drive thru was fast and the food was hot. We ordered a 5 piece chicken tender meal but at the window the employee charged me for a 3 piece meal. Instead of charging me for the difference, she gave us 4 additional chicken tenders to make up for the error. Great customer service. We definitely will return.
I like Popeyes Chicken however, there is no consistency. Every time I go I have a bad experience. Either Im doing a U-turn because my chicken is dry at which time causes me to have to wait an additional 30 minutes or longer. Now I am irritated. For instance today, 30JUL19 within the last hour I ordered an box of chicken an a couple of pieces were fresh and the other pieces was extremely dry. Not to mention the mild chicken was so dark that i thought it was spicy. The after taste was pasty tasting as if it was cooked in dirty grease. I called to complain and Management offered to replace my order however, this is time consuming. Just get it together!
I just had some of the best service anywhere. Absolutely everyone working to was polite and friendly. Because I had to wait a couple extra minutes for (fresh) popcorn shrimp, she gave me an extra biscuit and a free apple pie. Not to mention how delicious the meal was! I will absolutely be coming back here every Sunday for lunch!
Went to this Popeyes for the 1st time and even though the service was good, some things could have been better. I tried to order the boneless wings with wild mustard sauce and was told they were out of both. The AC in the eating area was too cold to me as my hot food was turning cold quickly. Service was food, food was ok. Would still recommend anyone to go to this Popeyes.
I have ordered delivery through Door Dash and Grub Hub with Popeyes 2 times and both times my order was wrong. The first time I had to go to the restaurant after I found out I was missing part of my order. When I got to the restaurant, I was told that they were out of the product. The second time was on 1/24 and I ordered the 16 piece chicken tender family meal and when I received my order, I was given an 8 piece chicken tender meal. I tried calling the restaurant to try and get my order straight, and they couldnt even pick up the phone. I know there is plenty of people working in that restaurant and someone could have answered it. I was charged $33.98 for a 16 piece family meal and received an 8 piece family meal. Talk about getting ripped off. Someone needs to address this and find out why someone cant do their job proficiently.
Great food and wonderful staff. I hope they keep their staff because they are awesome! My 5 year old daughter was cold, so they turned off the air conditioning for her. 3 different people asked how we were doing, and offered to throw away our trays when we were done. The manager seen us out the door. Everyone was very accommodating. We will definitely be repeat customers.
Went for lunch, was told they didnt have tenders, so I ordered boneless wings, which are more expensive. Asked for sauces, and they were out of almost all their sauces, except for a mustard sauce, and BBQ, and ketchup. Fries were luke warm. Heard the manager tell another customer they were out of pepper, but had salt..... This place needs new management and better training in how to order items that they need.
If I could, I would do less than a few star... It was a horrible experience, from being mean mugged when I was missing half of my food and told them about. I had to wait about half an hour for my food and before that they wouldnt even open the window. They just started at me and had a big fit that I was back. I ended up just getting a refund and they couldnt even do that for like 20 minutes because the lady swars up and down that I didnt just come threw, even though I had my recipe and the other workers remembered me.
Did my order online. According to email I got, they would call my name out in lobby to get order. Only problem doors were locked. No place marked outside for online orders. Had to go through drive thru to get order. They then tried to collect money even though I had ordered and paid online. Chicken was overcooked. Not worth the money
Dont bother going after 9pm. Hours on door say drive-through is open until 11pm,but I went there last week at 10pm and they told me they were closed. I asked what time they close and they said 10pm. So the next week I went there at 9:30 and again they told me they were closed. I asked what their hours were and they just yelled WE ARE CLOSED!! Really rude.
The food is good but they need to replace a lot of the staff. I did a mobile order to pick up in the drive thru only to be told I had to come in. Then I told the person I was missing something from my order for them to tell me I was wrong. Had to go back in. Watched people walk out for being ignored.
I got some chicken to take home. The order was short a breast and a leg. I was not given a receipt. When I asked for my missing chicken to be replace, they said I had to have the receipt. I told them I was not given a receipt. They said there was nothing they could do about it. What a money maker !! Short the order, dont give a receipt and then not replace the missing food. What a horrible way to do business. I will never eat there again. I refuse to deal with such a dishonest company
This is one of the worst experiences Ive had in a long time. My boyfriend and I ordered a Surf and Turf combo and a $10 chicken strip box. It took a few minutes at the drive thru speaker for someone to take our order. When we got to the window we had to order again because the girl didnt ring in out order. The whole time I was trying to give her my order she was playing with her headset and gossiping with the other employees, talking about someone else that worked there, so it took about 5 minutes for her to ring in our order. When we finally got out food about 10 minutes later, she only gave us one meal, no sides. I told her about it, and we had to wait another 5 minutes for the rest of it. She gave us the wrong sides so we had to wait yet again! When we got home we discovered we were still missing a side and the food was really cold and rubbery. I would have just gotten my money back at the restaurant but it was late and didnt want to go find somewhere else to eat. We didnt call them when we got home because I dont want a replacement, I dont want anything from them at this point, Ill never go back there again. As a former restaurant manager I underatand the struggles of the night shift, but this was horrible. They need a manager with a backbone and better training in my opinion.
The place was dirty, boxes on floor behind the counter. Food on floor in kitchen. No paper cups, giving you a select choice of drinks in cans. No napkins out. They were out of plastic utensils. They had a plastic bag of spoons sitting on counter for customers to dig into to get one. People waiting in line getting upset. Obviously needs a new manager!Worst Popeyes Ive ever been in. Actually 2 stars is over rated.
This is the worst Popeyes I’ve been to and that’s saying a lot because I’ve waited an hour before. I was waiting for a very long time and get up to the window and the lady is the rudest I’ve ever heard from a drive through window. Honestly she shouldn’t be allowed to take orders, I’ve worked a lot of fast food and know I wouldn’t be allowed to if I was that rude. I love the food but they need nicer people.
Ive been to this location probably 75 times or so by now. It has gone through some turbulence. There have been times when the restaurant has been literally dysfunctional to the point where it was impossible to get any food for for a myriad of reasons. However the owners have since fired most of the staff and started over... twice! So Im going to replace my previous review when I had gone only a dozen or so times a couple of years ago with just how the store is right now in August of 2021, and the current state of Popeyes food.The current drive through service in terms of speed/time spent in the drive through has become great this year, night and day from years passed. Popeyes I would say has the fastest drive thru right now between all of the places in that Plaza (Wendys, Taco Bell, KFC, McDonalds, Tim Hortons, White Castle, Arbys, Gyro City, and the cajun purple and green building that took over the Long Johns SIlver is the slowest of the lot dont even try). So that has been huge for me because not being able to make it through the drive thru quickly had been the only issue Id had with this store. The staff is mostly efficient now, fairly pleasant for a Popeyes, and they get my order right about 85% of the time. Ill take it all day, Im here for it, Im giving this Popeyes a 5/5 for service.All things considered Im still going to maintain my prior position that Popeyes food isnt very good, and that overall its the worst of the whole fast fried chicken group. The chicken strips are uniform and lacking texture, the sides mostly taste like cheap salt, its all very greasy and cheap.But there are a few items where Popeyes just runs away with the gold.Popeyes gravy on their mash potatoes is unlike anything in this class. Its spicy and has pieces of what might be meat in it. Their apple pies are the best fried apple pies in all of fast food, bigger and better than all the rest, with the most legitimate apple chunks and bold cinnamon sugar.And the spicy chicken sandwich, my word! Popeyes has by far the best spicy chicken sandwich among all fast food and big chicken joints, its not even close! Its a chicken breast they bread and fry right there in the store, they mix the spicy mayo right there in the store, its on a toasted brioche bun with barrel cured pickles that Popeyes specifically and secretly developed just for the sandwich. Thats true, I looked it up! This sandwich is THE BOMB! I order it with extra spicy mayo, extra barrel cured pickles, and every time I think about my inevitable heart attack. Then I crave this sandwich. There have been weeks Ive had this sandwich four times. Im out of control! $4 is less expensive than Wendys Spicy, than all of McDonalds spicies, Arbys buffalo chicken slider is cheaper but also smaller and just Franks Red Hot. None of them have anything on Popeyes, it is not even close!When it comes to spicy chicken sandwiches at fast food places or fried chicken joints, Popeyes is the King of the Mountain. Same situation with their fried apple pie. Their gravy is spicy and stands out among the competition. Its neat that they offer red beans & rice as a side. Everything else isnt good.5/5 would recommend this Popeyes all day!
Food is ok but if there isnt anything to drink to wash it down whats the point of going. The last 4 times I have been there, they ask you to pull to the window for your drink request and after you have been sitting in line you find out that they only have some crazy flavor water to drink. What stinks is that I didnt really want a drink and asked for a side instead but was told they couldnt do that. So I end up with a drink that I didnt want and poor customer service.
My wife and I experienced one of the blandest tasting chicken weve ever had. Not only did her regular chicken tenders have no seasoning but my spicy had absolutely no flavor and was more greasy than I remember. This ranks right up there with the cardboard tasting, cornmeal-based, fried chicken that is served in Michigan Bavarian area.Even the over priced $18 wasnt the worst part; the absolute worst thing was that I bragged to my wife about how great tasting Popeyes was compared to other chicken restaurants. This was her first time experiencing Popeyes and not only was I upset at the below average taste, but I was also embarrassed that she had a lackluster experience.I can say that this may be my last visit to Popeyes (definitely that location) & if asked, will gladly share our experience with others.
So disappointed! Waited 20 minutes for food because they only had old spicy strips. I was happy to wait, but when I got home and everything else was wrong, I was not happy! My mashed potatoes had seriously absolutely no gravy on them, my drink had ice when I asked for none, no silverware, my napkins were wet for some reason, and I asked for honey and got none, but handfuls of jelly. I understand that your truck comes tomorrow, but honestly, if I had known it was going to be that bad, I never would have waited!!
I called this store on July 3rd at 1pm to place my larger order for 530pm. I get there and not only did they try to charge me for CATERING, the order wasnt even ready. Thats 4.5 hours to make 50 spicy wings and a 4 piece spicy meal.it wasnt like I needed thousands of wings. 50. Thats all. 50 wings in 4.5 hours was too much for them to handle. The manager could barely speak English and couldnt refund my money to my card. I did get refunded, bc he gave me cash, but our Red, White, and Boom picnic consisted of cold sandwiches.
My husband and I love Popeyes. Great Southern location is the worst. They never have any drink selections in the soda machine. When you order soda up front, the workers are annoyed, because its one more thing that they have to do.Three food tastes like rubber and its always cold. We go because its closest to where we live. We went there at 11:15 once and the chairs were still on the tables and one of the workers said where are all these people coming from. We then went to the Reynoldsburg location and they had everything we wanted. Its a smaller restaurant, however the workers are super friendly and accommodating. 5 stars to the Reynoldsburg location
This place deserves 0 stars first off people at cash register were rude, werent nice or friendly. Get my food mashed potatoes tasted pure watery like really bad instant mashed potatoes . Absolutely disgusting!!! I asked for more still the same. Chicken was dry!!!! Threw all my food away Wont be back for a long time. Update Went today 5-28-19 they were out of corn!!! Pathetic!!!
Second time Ive received stale over cooked chicken tenders and less then a 1/4 pound of shrimp more like 1/4 pound of breading call them they never answer and when I go back its always a problem and they always have a additude. Store is too new to have employees that dont care upon the business and take it as a joke even management.
The food was good. The wait however was a bit upsetting, seen the workers out back on their phones, 4 girls hanging out the drive thru window talking to one car for 15 minutes, pulled up for my food teenagers were inside playing. Seen the manager telling them to quiet down. My soda was flat, with no ice in it. Ill see how it is doing again after a month or so.
Well when I first walked in, there were two people at the drive-thru and no one greeted me. I stood there for at least two minutes before someone came from the back to help me. The cashier was a young boy and he was really nice. My food was nice and hot but I will say, this is the only Popeyes that I have been to that the chicken tenders were so scrawny.
The food is delicious but the servings get smaller & smaller.This visit the 3 piece fish was sad.The fish was only 2 inches long & about 1.5 wide & super thin.Truly sad.The beans & rice was watery & the mac & cheese too.If this is going to be the normal then I will no longer be a customer.So disappointed.
Very first time ever going inside of Popeyes & I cant say that I was disappointed at all. I know its still brand new, but they were still cleaning the tables & everything was nice & clean. We have a pretty big family, so we did have to get the biggest meal & it was a little more expensive than I always thought Popeyes was. For $37 we did get the 16 piece meal with 3 sides & biscuits. They did also give us these little paper trays to use, which was awesome!
Took over 35 minutes to get our food. Ordered through the drive thru and was told to pull up and that they would bring our food out but they forgot about us. I went inside to get our food and they didnt even have any of it ready. The manager which was working the drive thru wouldnt even talk to me, didnt say sorry or anything. I wont ever go back there. I felt bad for the person that actually helped me when I went in there, he apologized several times and I let him know that it was not his fault but it was the managers fault
Went to this location for a pick up. To say it was a disaster is an understatement. In fairness, most of the staff was new, but no manager was even in the store to supervise this store that was pretty much a sinking ship. One giant cluster, but the new staff handled it the best they could
Under no circumstances will I be purchasing ANY products from Popeyes. On MARCH 7, 2020, I stopped to get lunch to take home with my wife. We ordered 4 sandwiches (Classic Chicken w/NO SPICEY SAUCE) and 4 Red Velvet Cake desserts. It took almost 20 minutes with NO CARS in front of us for them to even take our order. When wr received it and got home, the sandwiches were ALL SPICEY and the dessert cakes frozen and when they thawed they were extremely stale. I tried to contact the store immediately and no one picked up. I have made over 15 calls to the complaint line for a call back, but as of yet, NO CONTACT. Everybody should go to Chick-Fil-A instead. They ACTIALLY CARE about the customet
I just ordered through grubhub and all of my combos were missing their sides, none of my drinks had ice in them and my sauce was missing. The driver did not have the items (not like he took all my sides out of their combo boxes) so popeyes clearly dropped the ball. I tried calling them and they kept picking up and hanging up their phone.
Disappointed in dine in experience. Didnt get what was ordered, ended up with cajun nuggets, not the $5 chicken parmesan box, they were out of corn and cole slaw, pop machine not working, canned pop in a cup and bottle of water. The only utensils was a bag of opened spoons from Walmart on the napkin counter, glad there was a rag on a table so I could wipe the table. Food was prepared properly for what we got. Dining room was so cold. No plans of future visits to this location. Kudos do go to an employee, Mel, this guy was trying to correct everything, assuring customers in line he was preparing their order properly, he helped dining customers be satisfied, took care of waiting customers in the drive thru - his kindness and care was appreciated. This franchise is disappointing.
Where do I begin. Chicken tenders taste stale . I order a small drink and for 1.99 you get a can of coke.... Both machines that dispense pop are broken and have been for weeks. I could manage through the chicken if I had sauce to go with it. And what do you know they are out of sauce...
We went to two different stores in Columbus, Ohio. One at 161 and 71..no chicken no fries no ketchup no mustard and no shrimp. Then one on south High Street. No chicken cooked. No fries . The cooks were outside smoking. I waited 30 minutes before asking for my money back. And no manager. The employees were counting down minutes for them to leave. SAD. NO customer service at all.
Horrible experience wanted to dine in but every table but 2 was dirty, out of every coke product in the lobby besides fanta orange and hi-c punch, went to get sweet tea outa that,had to ask them to get my beverage from the drive thru and they rolled their eyes at me. Then no lids or urinals in the lobby had 5o go back to the counter again. 7 employees walkin around slowly like theres nothing to do, employees customer service skills were non existent! Then half the chicken i ordered they didnt have for me to eat. Order was incorrect! Receipt printed out at 5:24pm got my food at 5:53pm.
Menu price was 18.99 for a nine piece meal, however the register rings meal up for 19.99 and workers have no way to correct this. Was also poorly understaffed, causing crew members to work several different areas of the job. I feel that employers who understaff their establishment for profit reasons have no respect for their customers or employees. The food was great thanks to the understaffed crew who made it and prepared our order through all the confusion. Shame on upper management for limiting what the crew members can do about correcting a price to match the advertised menu board.
Got all the wrong food...I order the 9pcs mix w/2 large side and 4 biscuits deal for 19.99. I wanted spicy they had no more so I waited 10mins. To have the spicy...ok the two large side I got was red beans n rice, n fries...they give me mash potatoes instead of the fries so I had to go in and get my fries....when I got home I noticed they gave me mac n cheese n coleslaw..instead of the red beans n rice...And they gave me the wrong chicken that I waited for ,they give me chicken stripes!.I called and talk to the manger his name he gave was Q. I told him what happen and he was so unprofessional he accused me of trying to get stuff for free and I had to bring it back up there to get what I paid for!..all he had to do was take my name and replace it for my next visited..now I will never return.
This is third visit to this popeyes that they had no chicken cooked. Associate said they were doing catering orders. I would think they would want to please there customers. Said I was going to report them and she said go ahead bye bye. So KFC got my business. Very disappointed in Popeyes
Clean restaurant. Pretty fast service. Seven dollars for a three tender meal included 3 chicken fingers with more breading then meat. A small serving of Mac and cheese with a biscuit. Also a medium drink which was mostly ice. Everything tasted good but quantity did not match with price. KFC which is right next door has 5 dollar fill up box which offers more food for less money.
This Popeyes sucks! Doors are locked. Customers are inside because other customers let them in. No one is taking orders at the window. My wife and I drove through 3 or 4 times.NO ANSWER AT THE SPEAKER BOX!Stopped at the window. Got ignored!Get new employees fast.Watched 8 cars go through the drive through. No orders taken.Watched an upwards of a dozen plus people go to the door and not get in.Horrible work ethic.
This review is getting 1 star only because it wont let me post with zero. I witnessed an employee talking to her mother at the front counter. This employee then reaches into her bra with bare hands and pulls out cash. She then starts counting it and handing it too he mother, then rushes back to a fryer and pulls out the tray never once washing her hands. A minute later I see this same employee digging out her panties and then handling orders, again not washing her hands. Now that I am about to leave I realize NUMEROUS customers are returning because their orders are incorrect. One customer waited 29 minutes for her order (6pc spicy chicken) just to find out that the order had never even been started. Absolutely terrible considering this is a brand new store.
My husband and I had never eaten at Popeyes before, and we were on our way home from an appointment in Columbus, so we thought that we would give it a try. Well, I have to say, that we were not impressed. The chicken was hot and crispy, but other than that, we didnt feel that it lived up to the hype of the commercials that we have seen on television. We have had better, and we have had worse, and this was kind of in the middle. We can now say that we have tried it, but we will not be returning.
Great Food, Great/Fast Service. Courteous staff. Manager was extremely nice even though I inadvertantly interrupted his meal, lol. My wife and I are thrilled that a Popeyes has opened only about 15 minutes from us, vs the 30-40 minutes it used to take us to get to one. Were still hoping for one, in Orient, but beggers cant be choosers. :) A plus to all there, should be very proud of that restaurant!!
My most frequent popeyes. They seem to run out of bbq sauce more than any other popeyes, but its not a deal breaker for me. I will say that I almost never seem the same staff. Seems like they always have new people. As long as they dont forget my biscuit again, I will continue to return
You better check your bags before leaving the drive thru. When we got home, We found part of our order was missing. Tried calling the restaurant twice to complain no answer will answer the phone. So consequently we paid a little over $22 dollars for half a chicken meal.
That is the last time I allow myself to be disappointed by Popeyes. I have had bad experiences with other Popeye franchises in other states. I waited for a L O N Gtime for the only car in front of me to get their order. Why they didnt have them pull forward so other customers wouldnt have to wait an inordinatly long time is a mystery. I odered the chicken tenders (that werent ready) and when I did get them they were tough and chewey. On top of all that, they were out of Buffalo sauce.Apparantly the People in charge of the training of Popeyes employees arent doing their job.
So Ive been to popeyes but even though i live in the south end id never been to this one since it opened. Went there tonight and its definitely at my top of places to go on s high. My chicken was not greasy at all, was very moist and flavorful. I got sauce and tried it with the bbq and the mustard but ended up eating it plain because it was THAT good. I cant really eat spicy stuff but love the flavor of cajun food. My mashed potatoes were PERFECT! Tons of flavor a tiny spicy but not so much that i was uncomfortable eating them. The biscuit was by far probably the best biscuit ive ever had even in comparison to home made which says alot. The gentlemen that was running the window tonight was absolutely wonderful. He was very kind and consistent without seeming rushed. I am overly pleased tonight and thats saying a lot coming from someone who despises eating fast food. Thank you for the wonderful experience and the next time i need a quick bite i know where i will be stopping!
Just paid $11.99 for a Fish and Shrimp combo. Two very small pieces of fish about 2.5 inchs long and mostly batter. On menu it said shrimp not popcorn shrimp witch is what i got. Again mostly popcorn batter. Very disappointing for Popeyes. I will not be going there every again.
I got a few extra pieces of shrimp in my 8 pc shrimp basket. But they forgot my red beans and rice for my seafood combo. Well, I went back yesterday to tell them that I was not given my red beans and rice. I was told they cannot give it to me as you need to return immediately to the restaurant with your meal And Receipt in order to get an item that they didnt put in the bag. WORD TO THE WISE~ DONT MOVE FROM THE WINDOW UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED THAT YOUR ORDER IS CORRECT AT THIS PLACE. Also Valerie C comment is NOT CORRECT. ATTENTION ALL TRUCK DRIVERS, THE EXITS FROM 270 BOTH DIRECTIONS TO SOUTH HIGH STREET (ROUTE 23) NORTH REQUIRE A VERY SLOW SPEED. THIS IS NOT A TRUCK STOP AT ALL. IT IS ALSO NOT VERY BUSY. IT LOOKS LIKE A GHOST TOWN SHOPPING MALL AND THIS POPEYES LOCATION SUCKS! KFC is Better
6 min wait no be right with you nothing. Pulled around only one car in cue same one I pulled up with.Adrianna nice friendly, polite,food hot fresh.No fork to eat coleslaw details are important. One napkin had to eat coleslaw with shrimp.Would I go back yes first choice no overall experience ok just ok.
Im so disappointed in Popeyes, they have switched vendors for their chicken or either they are coming from a third world country. I know the chicken are not on a diet. Lol. There is no meat on the thighs, breast, oh my. leaving me hungry. The locations are all the same. I have had it with trying to eat anorexic poultry.

This place was discussing they were out of everything biscuit was over cooked cheken looked old and dry they we out of pop out of rice out of jambalaya out of pudding they didnt give me my pop in the Drive-Thru I had to come back there was no one inside except for other people complaining up at the front counter they did not have the pop I was asking for it took me 15 minutes to get it I asked for a refund and I was trying to give him the food back they said only thing they would do is exchange it I said I dont want an exchange worst Popeyes ever
I brought two $10meals one was fine the other one I got dark chicken and one white piece and I asked for more white and I would pay extra plus I didnt get my sides I got biscuits and no honey and I called instead of trying to make the best of a bad situation they wanted me to drive there and I live 20 mins away hopefully they will fix it another day but they need to do better
This is the worst place to go possibly honestly the wait was for an hour in the drive and they never gave me my food i was Waiting at the front window just watching the guy dig in his mouth and nose and make food it was the nastiest thing i have Ever seen never go to this one

2022-07-06Had to wait 45 minutes for our food. Was given a Dr pepper when we requested a diet coke. Was very annoyed since Im diabetic. When they exchanged the pop the diet coke tasted like soda water so it did not get drunk. We didnt receive napkins and two pieces (breast) were not fully cooked. Very unhappy with the service. Very upset since we spent 40 bucks. 😡😡😡

2022-05-01I got a 3 piece meal with 3 small sides and spent over $17. The chicken was super small pieces and the food taste terrible. I took one bite of each thing and gave it all to a homeless person. I could not have been more disappointed. I will never go back there again.

2022-01-19The drive threw workers were both kind of rude. But I think just super busy and stress. We ordered chicken tenders meal and a chicken sandwich meal. went to window they said chicken sandwich was frozen and they couldnt make it an asked if we wanted something else. Had to pay almost 4 more extra dollars. They made us wait from 12:30-12:55. They ended up also giving us a chicken sandwich as well. We only got one side for each meal which was supposed to come with 1 other. I most likely will not be coming back here. But their food is amazing and so good. Just time consuming with rude staff.

I ordered 2 of the two-piece big boxes with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese got a milk and a Sprite they forgot one of the chicken boxes of mashed potatoes the milk they have no biscuits to give us who is okay with that but are mashed potatoes after we told them they gave us the chicken but only got home it was in edible they was so hard and crispy our dinner was ruint it would be nice to have replacement dinners

2019-07-06Service was fast through the drive through but the chicken is ridiculous. Why is every chicken joint going to these flat rubber pieces of chicken? KFC has the same exact chicken tenders which are Horrible! The fries and biscuits are awesome but I used to love Popeyes chicken, not anymore or until they go back to real chicken. Please go back to the way you used to be!

2020-08-04Food was disgusting chicken had old brown spots on it and even some pieces has black spots On the skin.took back and asked for fresh and woman at the window was super rude and said sorry you already took it and left we can’t do anything about it now.then closed the window in my face.
